Sadly having to change my review from 5 stars to one. Jon did go above what most dealerships would do at first. I mean we bought our car for 8 grand. Used our entire savings on a down payment. The first week of ownership the car was in the shop getting repairs. And now, not even 90 days later we've spent over 300.00 in repairs that did not even fix the issue. It isn't even safe driving down a residential street. I'm pregnant, My oldest son has a brain tumor which we have to drive to Portland for treatment which is why we wanted a safe, reliable and efficient car. Anyways. We paid 8,000.00 for a car we've owned for about 70 days and still have to pay 200 a month for a car that barely runs. I'm really frustrated and disappointed that we made this transaction. Also went for an oil change and everything was low, the radiator was filled with water. Another couple hundred to be spent on flushing and cleaning out the system.

We spent the day talking to car salesman. We had really pushy salesman, we had really flaky salesman, and right in the middle of the day we met John. The first thing that was nice was he had multiple quality cars. We drove 2 and we probably would have been happy with either. The second thing I noticed is he let the quality of his cars be the main seller. He was not pushy, he knew all about the history, he showed us the car fax, and he answered all of our questions patiently and thoroughly. The third thing is he let us go. I had researched cars on hwy 99, main street, and glenwood. I wanted to see those cars before I decided and Pride Motors simply had the best cars with the best deals in my price range. I really appreciate John's approach to the business, the quality of the cars he had, and the respect he showed us as buyers. I would definitely recommend this business as one to check out if you are car shopping in Eugene.
