Thomas Hall, our sales rep, was excellent. No hassle, no pressure and a great deal. Finance dept was very nice and low key. At no time did we feel pushed. We left with a 2016 CRV feeling like we got a great deal and excellent service. We'll be back. Neal Steele

I bought my first car, a Honda Accord, from Ray and had a wonderful experience! He was very patient and explained everything clearly! Car buying is a long process, but with awesome, laid-back salesman like Ray, the process is so much smoother! He has been very helpful in ensuring that I am taken care of after my purchase as well which is excellent!

My overall experience was 100% satisfactory!!My husband and I was in the search for an additional vehicle. We met Ray Sanders while browsing through the parking lot! His approach was very professional and knowledgable. Although my husband and I ended up coming back 2 months later Ray left such an impression on us we had to seal the deal with him and him only!! His positive attitude and wittiness really made our car buying experience worth it! The color of choice was not readily on the lot so it had to be shipped from another dealership which only took 4 days for delivery. Ray assured us that he would have the car on PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) so that my husband and I could see the car before they did any clean up and he KEPT HIS WORD and contacted us to come an inspect as soon as it was delivered!! With that being said, on election day 11-8-2016 we were proud owners of a 2017 Honda Accord Touring and i'm happy to say that i purchased it from Priority because of Ray Sanders! I will be recommending him to ANYONE who is in the market of owning or leasing a Honda! Thanks Ray! We truly appreciated you! #Raysealedthedeal

Just bought a 2016 Pilot yesterday with more amenities than we thought we were originally looking for. No pressure was felt by my husband or I throughout the entire day. Absolutely everyone was friendly and helpful and willing to be available for questions or concerns as we move forward.

In all my years (I'm 74) of dealing with auto service personnel, Louis Vu is easily the finest service manager I have ever known. He is a consummate professional while displaying a cordial and courteous manner at all times. Louis is quick to pinpoint a vehicle's problem and identify the best solution for repair. In so doing, he is always alert to the customer's concern for the time involved for repair and the expense, and he weighs these factors heavily when making repair recommendations. In spite of the negative aspect of having car problems, Louis makes a visit to his repair shop an almost enjoyable experience. Quite a feat!

I have to say first of all that I have not purchased a car here yet but when I'm ready this will be the place. I found the dealership to be inviting, friendly and professional. I had some questions and the GM named Matt had all of He answers. He was very informative and his confident can-do personality was reassuring to someone like me who feels a bit intimidated in dealerships. Thank you Matt and thank you Priority Honda for a great experience.

Amazing because of the fantastic deal I received for my new 2016 CRV EXL and for the great trade in value for my 2010 CRV with 130,000 miles. Jack made the transaction very painless and quick. He had the paperwork completed ready when I arrived after having driven 4 hours from Northern Virginia. Jack was also patient with me trying to explain all the new "bells and whistles" on the new CRV. The drive was well worth the trip. I couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism I received from Jack and Priority Honda.

When we bought our HR-V had an experience positive enough to recommend this dealership when our daughter came down for a visit and she left with her first ever new vehicle. There was some drama with the paperwork because she is a PA resident but overall she also loves her CR-V.

My wife and I decided we needed a new vehicle and had narrowed our selection down to either the Toyota Rav 4 or the Honda CRV. Our saleman Andre Abitbol new his merchandise well and that of his leading competitor. He was right in showing that even though I normally prefer Toyotas; dollar for dollar the features included with the Honda CRV made it a better purchase and we did compare both in a test drive. Andre was there for the sale begginining to end. He even programed the cars blue tooth system for my wifes phone upon delivery of the vehicle to her. Matt his sales manager was able to farely nogotiate an agreeable price knocking out all the added fluff. From the lady selling us the added corrosion protection package through the finace manager the Staff here at Priority Honda is top notch. Given time and with such vehicles as Honda seems to be producing I don't expect it to be long before this patictular dealership grows and expands as large as its Toyota brother up the road gaining its own snack bar as well. Priority's sale price with its guarantees on this particular vehicle significantly beat out the Checkerd Flags and First team Hondas price. Priority Honda a true winner.

This dealership was certified by USAA auto buying service and they contacted me with a price quote as soon as I filled out the USAA info. Dave Schindler was very pleasant to work with and had two cars ready when we arrived. I though that the add-ons above the quoted price were a little much, but we were able to negotiate an acceptable price. The whole purchase took less time that I'd expected and was generally pleasant. I do recommend this dealership.

Took my '05 CRV for an oil change on 5/12/16. Later that night, car began making a funny noise that it'd never made before. I called back & was told to bring the car back in & they'd inspect it to see what the problem was. I scheduled that follow-up for 5/19. However, on 5/17 the noise became worse & my car broke down on me at the gas station. I thought I was out of gas because the gas light was on, even though that was still unusual because I know how many miles I can travel after the gas light comes on. I had the car towed to Priority Honda Chesapeake where I was told the next day that the noise I heard was from a broken AC compressor. I asked if that effected the car's drivability and was told no. I asked why the car broke down & was told it was a coincidence. Five minutes after I hung up, Amy Ewell called back to say the car broke down because I was out of gas. The charge for a new AC compressor would be $1500. I went two days later to pick up my car without the repairs since the car could work without the AC. Amy had told me there would be no charge. Yet, they tried to charge me $131 when I went to get the car. I refused & they dropped the charge. I drove the car not three blocks up the road, filled it with gas, & the car broke down AGAIN! Since my brother was trailing me in his car, we switched vehicles & drove his car & my car to his home. My car continued to cut off for the entire ride. I called Amy the next day & she seemed surprised that I was still having issues with my car. She told me to have my car towed in, once again, so that they could take a look at it. I expressed that my car was cutting off even though it had a full tank of gas & that I wasn't pleased with that. She said, and I quote, "now that your car has a full tank of gas, we can really see what's going on with it". I'm guessing she said that with a straight face. My car was towed to their dealership for a second time. Diagnosis? When I drove my car off the lot, I made the problem worse, per Amy, & the entire system was contaminated so the new cost of repairs would be $4500! The problem with that is that my brother had spoken to Firestone after my car cut off when I drove it off the lot & it cut off on me. We knew that the entire system would need to be replaced because of contamination & they quoted us a price of $1599 to repair the entire system. Honda's original quote failed to cover the cost of contamination & their incompetence in blaming me for their failure is laughable. My gripe with these guys is that they are dishonest. I have no real idea what's wrong with my car, but every time I've taken it their, 1) the problem got worse, and 2) the cost goes up. Prior to the oil change, my vehicle worked fine. It only has 92k miles on it, had one previous owner, & I had no trouble with the AC or the AC compressor. Not to mention the AC received a green mark for being ok when they changed my oil on 5/12. Not sure what having a full tank of gas has to do with properly diagnosing what's wrong with my car. Or how they were able to make the first diagnosis with the AC compressor when there was only a little gas in the car- if in fact the amount of gas effects the diagnosis at all. Of course, the manager stands behind his representative's questionable diagnosis, and the general manager has refused to return our calls. Please, do yourselves a favor, and run like xxxx away from this place! I may not have a degree in automobile repair, but I do have a master's degree, and these guys are bad news.

Bad business practices. I had a scheduled appointment for my CRV for an oil change on a Monday. The Sunday before my appointment, a Priority Honda salesman called me. He said that he got my name from the service department and he started giving me the sales pitch to trade in and upgrade my CRV. I do not appreciate the service department releasing my information to the sales department. BAD BUSINESS releasing information like that. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Contacted the dealership regarding an extended overnight test drive. Was told I was not able to do that unless I was 100% sure I wanted the car. Just started looking, so unsure right now. Have a disability and won't be sure it works for me until I drive it more than just down the road and back! Really liked the car and the salesman, but won't be purchasing anything from this dealer EVER!! Sales manager is horrible!! Looking somewhere else!!

Not so long ago, dealers would charge an "Adjusted Market Value " fee. Consumers quickly figured out this was out right effort to artificially and improperly raise the value of a vehicle with the net hoped for effect of raising the profit margins of the car dealership. Consumers quickly and consistently avoided these fees and forced most dealerships to abandon this sleezy business .Accelerated to 2015 and these slicksters have now invented the "Processing Fee" to suck more money from the pockets of unsuspecting, and unsophisticated auto consumers. They claim its a required fee to cover the costs of doing business.Really. Are there sleezbags claiming they lost money before charging thesis fees? NO they are not. Do they provide proof of overhead rates ? NO they do not. Does not the car factory sticker state that the delivery and processing fee pay for these services ? YES, it does.I have had dealers tell me "it's state law, we have to charge it". Really? A lie. They say everyone has to pay the fee. TRUE? NOT>Car dealers no matter how much they contribute to the high school year book or place adds in local news papers are based on deception and lies. Im waiting for someone in the dealership fraternity to have the courage to say what these fees actually are, a blatant attempted to make more money PERIOD. The tactic of imposing an "Administrative Fee" is not justified and has the effect of literally stealing by deception.....Something to consider, it is true the state has established a maximum value for this "Administrative fee" supposedly based on a dealers actual overhead costs.....If true, and it is, Why do all dealers charge the maximum fee allowed by law without justification or explanation????WHY??? Because this law is a license to make money? and Priority is bad, bad to the bone in extracting this fee from each honest person trying to purchase a car from them.SHAME on Priority and every other dealer for charging this indefensible fee. Shame on them for twisting the truth in justifying to their customers the outrageous fees and shame on these business owners who chose to cover there own inefficiencies and excesses by asking their customers to pay even more for their over priced products. UPDATE #1 Dealers charge an administrative fee THEY SAY to cover the costs of ??????? If true,,,it should be simple to produce a breakdown of the costs this fee is supposed to cover....Has anyone reading this ever received a document outlining the breakdown of this fee? no one to my knowledge ever has. The reason ? IT's Indefensible. UPDATE #2 First see number one......Now if these fees were to cover true documented costs, Logic tells us each dealer would charge a separate different fee. Establish dealers who carry no debt or are efficient in carrying out their business should have a lower fee than those heavily in debt, have immature/expensive processing costs or who lavish rings, vacations and high salaries on management.Contrary to the assurance I recieved that Everyone pays the fee and the fee is set by the state, I find both assertions to be false......In private, my sales rep assured me that others had not paid the fee. As to the state setting the fee, FALSE,, the state set a ceiling for these fees, they did not set a static value of the fee for every dealer.Just sad, these guys can't lower expenses and/or make more money by selling more cars.I would ask Priority to explain the fee and justify it. I would ask they train sales people to honestly explain this fee and provide a written outline of what expenses it is meant to cover. Finally, My experience at Priority regarding their insistence on and justification for this fee was disappointing.

We bought a 2016 Pilot on Saturday! What a great experience. From start to close we were treated with respect and had all of our questions answered quickly and accurately. Anthony Stanley was our salesman and he guided us to the perfect car. After the numbers were given, Rachel came in with the "extras" and was quick and efficient and NOT pushy! That's always a plus! Then came the finance man, John. He was great, explaining the road side and key replacement program (a must) and keeping us relaxed as we finalized the paperwork. My parents also purchased a CRV from Anthony a few months ago and had a wonderful experience. Thanks everyone!

I have bought 5 cars now from this location and will continue to do so. The staff is friendly and helpful. The "haggle" process is low pressure and easy to do. As a woman, anything car related is very intimidating to me, but Priority Honda has found a way to make me feel like I am safe and I belong.

I have been to multiple dealerships in the area and have never been treated so harshly as I was at Priority Honda. If you look to do any kind of solid negotiating from the invoice price, you will be treated horribly. I asked for a base model CR-V and they presented me a base model with 3 dealer add-ons. I repeatedly stated that I did not want the add-ons, as they increased the cost by nearly $500. I asked to see a model without the add-ons and they said that all the CR-V's have the add-ons.Their technique is then to tell you how great their Priority services are (free oil changes/state inspections/guarantee on the engine) and will tell you that the increased cost is worth it. When I stated that free oil changes do not sway me to pay more for the car, the manager wrote in Sharpee on the paper "NO OIL CHANGES" and stated that if I buy the car, I won't get them because "they don't matter to me". What a joke. The salesman that stood out the most was Bill Laterum. He began the conversation by calling me "Mr. Invoice" and cursed multiple times throughout the conversation. He said I should be happy with the sticker price. When I told him that I did not believe that they wouldn't make any money selling the car at invoice, he repeatedly asked me if I was calling him a liar. He was by far the most childish dealer I have ever experienced.Do not shop at this dealer if you plan on doing any solid negotiation. Remember people, start at the invoice price and work up! Do not start at the MSRP and work down!

Beyond the free state inspections and oil changes, I don't trust Priority Honda service one bit. Went in for a state inspection and left with a $400 bill to replace 1 motor mount. Upon inspecting the motor mount they supposedly replaced (front passenger), it appears that it wasn't replaced at all. I'll admit I should've declined the work, but I didn't (I didn't know what I was thinking). The motor mount was either not touched or replaced with a used one because the mount is still dirty. I tried calling my SA, but they never returned my phone calls. I think I'll do my own service now (even though oil changes are free) and go to an independent shop for bigger jobs. Make sure you ask to show you what's "broken" before any payment. That's one thing I regret. Your experience may be different , but mine left me with an uneasy feeling of being duped. I should've went with my gut feeling, but I didn't...should've, would've, could've. Lesson learned.

Initially when trying to buy my car, salesperson was friendly and professional. It was late at night when I drove the car off the lot and because I was scheduled to come back to have my under carriage coated I did not ask for a 2nd key to the vehicle that night. One would think I ask these greedy jerks to cure some incurable disease. I was told the car did not have a 2nd key and if I wanted one I should have made it known the night I signed the purchase agreement. Run! Do not go and give your hard earned money to these jerks. They will put on a friendly, courteous front until you signed on the dotted line after that they will act if will certainly make it known to you they don't really owe you anything further.(Per sales manager) The worst purchasing experience. And the sad thing is you would think I paid dirt cheap for the car.I didn't! I paid the NADA retailed value for the car. Go to elsewhere if you want to be valued as a customer and not just your dollars!

Very good dealership. Sales consultant Cale Spafford did a great job! He is competent, response all the requests with patience, not trying to sell you a car you don't like, don't talk too much, don't annoying customer. Cale was very nice and ready to help. He reduced the price to the acceptable level and didn't try to cheat. I'm very happy with the services provided. The Business manager John Rooney was also very competent and did his job very quick and answered all the questions. That was my first experience with Priority Honda and I'm very happy with it. Also the services Priority provide to maintain you vehicle in the future are very good. Hopefully my next experiences with this dealership will be the same. It looks like the dealership has a very good leadership team who organize the work process very well and hire the right people! May God Bless these people abundantly for their attitude to their work! It was a pleasure to have a business with them.

It has been over 30 days now since we traded in our 2012 honda pilot for the 2015 honda Odessey touring elite (so not a cheap car) and our trade has yet to be paid off and our refund check issued. We were told :it can take up to 3 weeks and here we are. Our pilot is past due and this past Monday we finally received the title info which only means we officially now have TWO car payments. But you know that they would have expected our payments in a timely manner or else the tow truck would be in our driveway in a snap! So our holiday season is looking a little dim with $1500 in car payments due by mid December. I honestly expected more from a dealership this size, I mean you see priority license plate brackets all over the place right?! Oh, and the odessey is being leased so one woiuld assume this would have made this whole process run smoother since in 3 years you would think they would want us to return the odessey and lease or purchase another vehicle thu them. Sadly we felt that we had no choice but to file a claim with honda corporate in hopes of getting this matter resolved, since phone calls from priority honda were never returned and the finance manager referred to waiting on the funds as a "waiting game". No, my husband's credit getting ruined is not a game and nor is the money owed to us. Only plus has been our sales guy Adam who was great and the service department.
Disappointed!

Let me start out by saying that the only thing positive about our experience was the Salesman, Danny Lopez. He was informed, not pushy, helpful and attentive. However, the rest of the experience was the worst. First of all we were promised a quick transaction that ended up taking nearly five hours. Then the finance person, Brandon, was not knowledgeable and could not answer our questions and referred us to the manager who was patronizing and condescending in responding to our questions. We almost walked out in the middle of that conversation but we were too eager to get out of there. Weeks went by and we never received paperwork from either the financing institution or Priority concerning payments , etc. It was two days before our first payment, we surmised, would be due and still no word and my phone calls and emails were not returned. I did everything possible to get this transaction in order with no help from the dealership. The finance person, Jerome, promised to return my calls and did not so I called what I thought was the proposed financing agency and they had no record of our transaction. In one instance that I did get the finance person , Jerome, on the phone he gave the excuse for all the delay in getting our paperwork in to the finance company as their "being backed up." Eventually we did hear from the corporate dealership office with a letter informing us that we would be turned over to collections if our payment was not made within five days!!! We would be turned over to collections, mind you, when we had done everything possible to get this straightened out!!! I was so angry and did get the finance person on the phone again and really let him know what I thought about the whole transaction. To top this whole bad experience off , we were informed during the purchasing process that our personal property tax would be due next June as usual. We made the purchase this June 2015. However, we just got a bill from the city of Chesapeake on Oct. 12 informing us that our property tax was due by October 29!! And it was a large amount! I have already informed this dealership that we would never purchase from them again because of this experience and that we would be turning our leased car in just as soon as our obligation was met. I hate to write bad reviews but this last thing with the personal property tax was just too much. There are other dealerships that are much better informed and better at servicing their customers so we will be looking for one of those next time.

I have 3 CRVs which have been serviced by Priority Honda in Chesapeake for many years. I was fortunate to meet Tae Hwang many years ago. Tae is the BEST! He is attentive and very customer oriented. He has given me excellent advice which is evidenced by the thousands of worry-free miles I have driven over the years. The service department is fantastic especially Tae !

If you are looking for a new Honda, don't go to this dealership. I was at the dealership from 3:00 until closing when I purchased my CRV. I was asked to pre-pay the first month's lease payment, something I have never been asked to do by any other dealership. I purchased the car on July 27 and assumed the pre-paid payment was for the month of August. Wrong! I was just informed by Honda Financial that I am responsible for the entire month of July even though I only had the car for three days during that month. Yes, I should have examined the lease agreement a bit closer, but at 9:00 p.m., after sitting at the dealership for six hours, I guess my assumption they were trustworth was incorrect. I was not told I would be paying for the entire month of July to drive the car for three days during that momth. That being the case, even a moron would have waited until August 1 to make the purchase. They were slow in paying off an existing load I had on the car I traded in and when they finally did pay if off, they overpaid by almost $500.00. It took a month to have the overpayment refunded. As for the service department, I had an remote starter installed by the dealership. Their shuttle service was supposed to give me a ride home. That never happened. I waited the five hours it took for the installation, then receive a call on my cell phone telling me I could come and pick up my car. Interesting, since I was still in the waiting area. The person who showed me how to use the remote had no idea how it worked. The dealership as a whole seems unorganized, understaffed, and worried more about making a sale than making sure the customer is informed and satisfied. Never before have I filed a complaint with the BBB, but believe me when I say, this time I will. I can say without reservation that this is the last car I will every purchase from Priority. The CRV is a great car, but I am sure you can find a more reputable dealership.

I have purchased over 15 vehicles in my life and by far Priority Honda of Chesapeake was the best. I used the Internet to contact to the dealership and Joe Jehoich emailed me right back. I was able to do pretty much all of the negotiations via email. Once I went to the dealership, Joe had all my paperwork ready and I was out the door in an hour! My car was even detaied and looked great. Impressive to say the least! Just one thing to say, "Costumer for life." Thanks Joe, I lovey Accord !

I am not a fan of any dealerships, but I recently had a real good experience. I highly recommend Priority Honda to all Honda lovers out there. I love my new CRV and I have to thank you Jim Coggsdale for your excellent service, you are a great professional! I am a very happy Honda owner, and if you are looking for a new vehicle go to Priority Honda, you won't be disappointed. Approved and endorsed by Zsuzsanna H.

Run from this place. My 75-year-old mother went in to get recall work done. While there, they tried to hit her up for thousands of dollars in work, most of which she had JUST HAD DONE at another dealer. When she told them she had just had the word done, their response: "Well, we'll just tick those off the list." What the heck??? They saw what they thought was an easy target and tried to take advantage. LIttle did they know she keeps detailed records of all car maintenance and knew a scam when she saw one. "Go, Mom!". Shame on you, Priority. You should learn a lesson from my Acura dealer. One time I took them a list of $1800 worth of work my tire guy said I needed done. Their response: :"Ma'am, the only thing on this list that needs done is to change your wiper blades." That's a trusted dealership. And why I went to them even for oil changes. Priority just sees a buck, not a customer they want to take care of.

I can't say enough good things about my experience buying a Honda Odyssey from Jack Babashanian this weekend. After my previous experience buying a car I was hoping that I would never have to walk onto a car lot ever again. However, this weekend Jack showed me what buying a car SHOULD be like. His low pressure, friendly approach made the process painless. His sense of humor set the tone for the day and made my wife and I feel like we were just taking a ride with a friend who knows a lot about cars. Not only did we enjoy working with him to pick out a car, we were impressed with how quickly he was able to get us out the door and on our way home. If you're in the market for a car I highly recommend you reach out Jack (jbabashanianatpriorityauto.com).

In the interest of fairness to Priority Dealerships I would just like to note that I have had nothing but good things to say about Priority Honda in Hampton. However, the Chesapeake Dealership left much to be desired. We were in the market for a Honda Odyssey. The trim line that we wanted was not available on the lot. They guaranteed us that they could get us a van from another dealership. We just had to pay a $500 deposit for the transfer. They told us that once the vehicle was here, they would refund us the $500. We put the deposit on a credit card since it was being refunded. They asked if we wanted to apply this money as a down payment. We told them that we did not want to because the credit card rate was much higher than the loan we would be getting. They agreed that it made more sense to finance that $500 at 2.25% than whatever the credit card rate was. The next day, they call and tell us they can't find us a van. I was pretty upset because we had walked away from a deal on a Toyota Sienna because they guaranteed they would find us an Odyssey. I told them to refund our deposit and we would take our business elsewhere. They called about an hour later and told me that they found us a van and it would be there the next day. We went the next day and filled out all the paperwork and picked up our brand new Odyssey. As we were leaving, we asked if they had refunded the $500 deposit yet. They had not, but swore it would be taken care of that night. Fast forward to last week when our credit card bill comes. Low and behold, there is a $500 charge from Priority Honda. My wife called to inquire and they told her that a manager would contact her. She received a call from a manager that apologized for the mistake, and told her he would take care of it personally. A few hours later, I receive a calf from the same manager telling me that there will be no refund because the $500 was applied as a down payment. I had the same discussion again about why anyone would put $500 down on a credit card. He agreed that it made no sense. His suggestion was to call the bank and see if they could reissue a check for the amount plus the $500. He had no other suggestions on how to fix the problem. He did not give us our $500 back, and made no concessions to try to make us feel a little better about being hosed. He just apologized. I don't believe that their actions were malicious. I do believe that they are just simply incompetent. When you are making the number of deals that they make, keeping track of numbers is essential! So, for future car purchases, we will steer clear of this dealership and spend our hard earned dollars elsewhere.

I just bought my first brand new car!!! I purchased a 2014 Honda Civic! Scottie Holley did an amazing job! He was very professional yet still down to earth, nothing like a "typical car salesman". I was upside down on my trade in and he got a great deal for me. I walk out with the keys to the car of my dreams, and with payments I can afford at a good interest rate! If your going up to priority Scottie Holley is the man you need to see!

I had a pleasure of dealing with Mr. Joe Jehoich I wanted a 2014 Civic Si sedan in Tafetta white color and Joe got the ball rolling from the moment he got my online credit app. and he got me approved the same day and went searching for the color that I wanted, and it only took him a couple of days to locate one from far away and this was done just by emailing each other back and forth ( due to the busted speaker of my cell phone ) and Joe is honest and transparent with the numbers of the deal he was offering me...I very much highly recommend Joe Jehoich and I am pretty sure that there's a lot of employee in Priority Honda who gets the job done just like Joe Jehoich did to me for getting me inside a 2014 Honda Civic Si...Thanks, Joe and everybody that helped me when I came to pick up my car!!!!!!

I drove up from NC to shop Priority because of the offer they gave me for my trade-in. After picking an Accord and signing a purchase agreement Sales Manager Joseph Monaghan refused to honor the trade-in price they originally offered. Priority used a sweet trade-in amount to get me in the door, then revoked it in a disingenuous effort to squeeze more money out of me. Such double-dealing makes buying a car a miserable experience. Potential Priority customers beware.

My husband and I dropped by Priority Honda on Battlefield Blvd during our lunch break to test drive CRV's. Lawrence Velvin met us and shared his vast knowledge of each of the vehicles we drove. Based on our desires of features we were looking for in a new vehicle, he then showed us the Honda Crosstour. We were very impressed with not just the vehicle, but also with the professionalism that Lawrence exhibited during our test drive(s). He was very conversational and we felt no pressure to make a commitment to buy something that day. He did share with us that we would likely get a great price on the Crosstour as it had been on the lot for some time. He quickly ran inside to get a price from the manager (really - he was gone less than 5 min) and came back to let us know that they would immediately take 20% off the sticker price. We were so impressed that we came back that evening and purchased the Crosstour! We have purchased several cars in the past and have to say that this was the least stressful purchase process we have ever encountered. Thank you, Lawrence, for helping to make a usually very painful experience a very pleasant one! We will certainly recommend Lawrence and Priority to anyone.

Scottie Holleys knowledge of the CR-V, his listening skills, AND quality of service were SUPERB! I have been a fan of Chevy for yearsand although I did my research about the quality of Honda, Scottie was able to highlight safety features, gadgets, and vehicle capabilities that I was unaware of. Scotties listening skills were on target. In the past, I have worked with car salesmen who desired to put me in vehicles there were polar opposite of what I desired. These past experiences made me feel like I was a number as opposed to a person. Scottie listened, and found EXACTLY what I desired. He also WELCOMED me into the Priority Family! So if youre looking for a positive and encouraging sales rep that desires to put you in the vehicle of your choice for the right price ask for Scottie! Hes OUTSTANDING!! (smile)

I've dealt with Priority for 7 years and have been given excellent service every time. Tae Hwang has been my service advisor, it's been a great pleasure working with him, always courteous , friendly and knowledgable . Dave Lindsey just sold me my new Honda CRV which I just love! (Tae said I would love it.) Dave made my buying experience the best I have ever had no pressure, took the time to explain the car's bells and whistles and made me feel comfortable with my purchase . I'm a Priority For Life member! I drive 45 miles one way just so I know I'm in good hands. A.Parker

I dread buying cars let alone a pre-owned vehicle. My adventure began a week ago as I started on line shopping, reading Edmond's Reviews and Car Fax. I decided after much homework that I wanted a pre-owned Honda CRV. I found one that I liked and was rated well at Priority Honda in Chesapeake so completed the pre-work and not less than ten minutes I received a call. I explained my needs which included my financial status and was very clear what I wanted. The very next call was from a salesman, Scottie Holley and we had a very relaxed conversation about my preferences. He was very understanding, not pushy and we arranged to meet. For 3 days I practiced the art of negotiating because my experiences have always been painstaking. I arrived at the dealership and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist and then was introduced to Scottie Holley. I saw he had the car I was thinking of already parked at front (nice touch by the way). So I immediately thought, okay, hook, line and sink her. We sat down and discussed some options including a salvage trade in then went to look at the car. He explained everything the car had to offer and handed me the keys and off I went for a little test drive. I really liked this car but was still nervous about the anticipated "deal". We again sat down and we talked more about Priority's Certified Program in a way that I understood and not once did I feel any pressure. He laid everything out and my anxiety started to dissipate. We went back a few times until both of us felt we had reached an agreement satisfactory to both of us. My anxiety had now turned to excitement about the purchase of my new vehicle. I actually started to have a good time. Never have I had the experience that I had today with a car salesman. I felt no pressure, not tricks up his sleeve and he coordinated the entire experience with care and compassion. We had made a connection and I felt that we had known each other for a long time. I consider myself very intuitive to people and while some might say it is a car salesmen's shtick to make the customer feel the way I felt, I don't think this was trickery. It felt genuine. I felt Scottie Holley was looking out for my best interests and my needs. He went above and beyond what I had expected and I did not second guess myself or have buyers remorse when I drove off the lot in my new "pre-owned" Priority Certified CRV. It almost makes me want to go buy another car from him.Priority Honda in Chesapeake has a gem of a salesmen in Scotty Holley. Hats off to them for hiring him and for people like me, it was the first time I have ever had such a positive car buying experience. He really sells the Priority Brand and does it exceptional. Found a similar vehicle in the Mazda line of SUV's. Contacted Mr. Ellmer's officer but was unable to speak with him. I have been dealing with Priority & Dennis since he bought the old Kline Chevrolet dealership. I thought he owned a Mazda dealership, but his Executive Assistant Cindy asked me to give the Honda CRV a look and she would set up a time for me to meet with the General Manager. She did so and last Tuesday, I went in and purchased the Honda CRV that I had test driven the previous Friday night with Lawrence Velvin as the salesperson. I shared with him that I knew Mr. Ellmer and that I liked the CRV but did not believe they could beat the Mazda price because the CRV was several thousand more expensive..Upon returning on Tuesday to meet with Adam, Lawrence greeted me and had already put the car I test drove aside. I traded in 2 previously purchased vehicles that I had purchased years ago from Priority Toyota and the dealership more than beat the price of the Mazda. While there, Mr. Ellmer came in for a meeting with employees, recognized me and came over to chat while I was waiting to finalize the deal. I was only at the dealership for appx 1 & 1/2 hours and completed the whole process. Before Mr. Ellmer left, he came back over just as I was finishing up to make sure I had been taken care of. I told him more than adequately and how appreciative I was that Cindy as me to give them a chance..............I am a PRIORITY buyer for life!!!!! I could not have been treated any better. As a matter of fact, I made the comment to the Finance Manager that I continue to be impressed with the professionalism exhibited by Priority personnel. The dress code is very professional. At a local dealership when I was just looking, I was approached by someone whom I thought was the lot attendant. As I was looking at the SUVs, I heard a voice say "Hey Bubba; what you looking for? Can I help you?" He was dressed in jeans, tennis shoes, and a red hoodie. I told him I was just looking and he said "Well, here's my card.....if you need any help just let me know!" He was actually a salesperson!!!!!!Tom Holland

I had the pleasure of having Brian Thomas as my sales consultant, and he did an above and beyond job to help me lease a new Honda Civic. He kept me in touch with everything that was going on, and answered all of my questions as fast as he could even when he wasn't at the dealership. He followed through on everything. Most importantly, he was a genuine guy who really made sure I got everything I needed. He was by far the best salesman I dealt with in my car shopping experience.

I originally found the car I was looking for at Hall Honda so I decided to check out Priority Honda for the same car and found it there. I decided to go with Priority because of its location and Priorities for Life. While looking through the car lot I was able to find the exact car I wanted and Scottie was really helpful at making sure I was really satisfied with my choice. I waited a few days so I could do some research about the car and then I went back and bought it and I could not be happier!

I give the service department a poor rating strictly on their ability to manage appointment times. It seems that scheduled appointments are ballpark times, if you are early to an appointment you are just adding to your wait time. Punctuality is professionalism if they are running behind on scheduled appointments they should either call the customer before they arrive and offer to reschedule the appointment or at least advise them to arrive later so they are not standing around the already crowded waiting area. One bright note is there free oil change wait time is normally less than 1 hour which is about what it would be at any oil change facility.

Scottie Holley and Priority Honda did an amazing and professional job at treating me the way customers like to treated. And that's with respect and not pressured. I like the fact that Scottie went to bat for me and he helped me get an incredible deal on a 2014 Odyssey Touring Elite. I highly recommend and will come back to do business with Priority Honda. Wally Osgood was very nice and helpful but Sammy in the F&I dept. was a disaster. At best he was conniving and deceitful--at worst he was downright fraudulent. For a car delivery to last 31/2 hours and still know almost nothing about the car all I wanted to do was just to get out of there. The so called delivery girl told us nothing about the car and it was clear that her primary objective was to sell undercoating and paint protection. This was a classic example of why people don't want to buy new cars.

Wish the ratings above would allow an even higher rating. I have been purchasing my own vehicles for almost 50 years and have had some very good experiences and thought some of them were the best you could ever have. After this purchase at Priority Chesapeake, I have to admit that the Priority experience has far surpassed anything I have ever experienced and could have imagined. I could not even begin to say how happy I am to have gone to Priority for this purchase. From start to finish this has been a really outstanding experience. I just purchased my first new car at Priority Honda in Chesapeake and I could not be happier with the experience. Everyone from the greeter, the person answering the phone plus salesperson who were walking by where I was sitting could not have been more professional and pleasant. The finance person was very helpful in explaining all I needed to make an informed decision. The gentleman, Scottie, who stepped in to help his team member, Joe, who I had spoke with on the phone and who had an emergency come up, was an exceptional individual. Scottie was thorough, professional, patient with my questions and someone I would definately recommend to friends and family. I am very happy with my experience at Priority Honda of Chesapeake and look forward to a long relationship with them in the future.

I brought my 2011 Pilot in for a check engine light. It ended up being a loose coil wire which was covered. I left Priority with my second new car a 2014 Accord later in the day. All that started from inside your service dept. It is a joy walking into such a professional atmosphere, it makes buying from you guys fun. Josh George sold me his first car and then I butchered his tie. I didn't know he was a sales guy when we first met because he was so at ease. Papa worked out a deal that made me wonder why I couldn't of just stayed at home and had you guys do the whole thing for me then call me in to sign everything. Linda took care of getting the car all the paint, leather and under coating protection it needed and then Raj did the rest. I know I could of gotten a slightly better interest rate at my credit union but that's not the point. You guys are the best and my wife is so happy thanks! And just think, I had no intention of buying a car when I walked into your service dept! Wow what a team!!

Today I brought my wife's Honda Pilot in for its 30,000 mile service. It only had 27,500 miles on it but who cares, better early than late. The young man that assisted me Tae Hwang was fantastic. I told him that my key was not opening my doors properly and probably needed a battery so he said he'd check it out. I asked him what was needed at 30,000 miles and he explained everything in detail. Later when I arrived to pick up my vehicle he told me that my keys were defective but under warranty and already ordered. Tae told me he had the vehicle washed which was unexpected and when I started driving home I noticed a new state inspection sticker in the front window that I forgot I needed. What great service you provide the customer. Never before have I enjoyed spending $350 so much, no kidding. Priority gives a lot for my buck and my experience today was a 10. I wouldn't buy a new Honda anywhere else but Priority. Thanks Tae Hwang.

I recently purchased a new Honda Pilot from Robert Farmer. He was super attentive and helped me in choosing the right options for my car. I can not express how happy I was to have someone listen to me instead of just trying to push the sale. I recommend anyone looking to buy a new car to contact him...you wont regret it! I also recently had my oil changed at the Priority service dept, I LOVE the fact that I get free oil changes along with manicures for ladies on Wed. The lounge is large and nice. I am able to bring my laptop with me while waiting, and have a place for my young kids to hang out. Thank you Robert and Priority Honda!

The customer focus that exist in there mission statement and posted around their website is a hoax. The most important thing is how to maximize money in the pocket. I went to th dealership to downsize vehicles and lower my overall monthly operating cost to own. I had settled on a honda accord. After informing the sales person of this. I knew I owed more than my vehicle was worth and figured they could tack it onto the financing. The more I talked to the sales person, the more I realized this wasn't centered around the customer, it was about how much he could get on commission. I was offered 2500 less than blue book, black book, and true market value for my vehicle. The monthly payment calculated was not only higher than I was currently paying but raised my operating cost by 50$ a month for a car with much better gas mileage and much cheaper price. Unwilling to budge on the offer and car price and attempts to sell me cars I didn't want. After telling me my ideas and numbers were 'unrealistic' and 'not going to happen'; after being insulted for the idea I could lower my payments; after unwillingness to work with me to find a number we could both agree on. I left in the truck I came in. For a company supposedly customer centered, they only seem to care about themselves, the dollar, and how to screw you out of your money

I went to this dealer because of a letter I received promising me a great trade in on my 2011 CRV with low interest rate, similar payments, and possibly even money back. I test drove the car and loved it. First, they told me they had the color I wanted on the lot then when I went there they did not have it.We started talking trade in, price, terms, etc. When my vehicle arrived days later the cargo cover was missing. I went to the finance department and he said the terms were for 75 months when we had agreed to 60 months! Then he tried to jack the price up! I spoke to David Jones who swore that the terms they quoted me were for 72 months not the 60 that I had in writing.I ended up getting it for 62 months after being lectured at by Mr. Jones basically just to get out of there.I am not happy at all and do not recommend this dealership. I wish i could speak to the head of Priority about this horrible ordeal.

Once I decided to buy a 2012 Honda Pilot, I called all the Honda Dealerships in the Hampton Roads area. I had met Doug during a previous test drive, so I gave him the opportunity to give me his best price. Priority Honda beat the next best price by $480. Plus Priority Honda gives free oil changes and inspections for life. Doug was very accommodating and was excellent to work with.

All of the folks that we dealt with at Priority Honda knew their stuff, were real people, and have turned the car buying experience into something that is easy to understand, painfree, and even a fun. From Jason our salesperson, to Tim, the sales manager, to Danny, the finance manager - Great people and great experience.

I am a single mom and searched out Priority because of the promises they give to help keep cars in good condition; oil changes, inspections and engines for life. My visit when I purchased my car was good. Billy is a good salesman even though the payments are higher than I wanted to pay and that concerns me alot! Lori was nice at first, but for the follow-up - she was supposed to arrange to have cruise control on my hundai. The first appointment was on Wednesday and we had to reschedule that to Friday for them to get the parts. Friday I took my car in and left it, yet found out later they had no parts. Lori called me after I had picked up my car and left a message to reschedule again. I called back three times over the next two weeks and didn't hear from her at all until I called and talked to Adam, a manager. He gave me his name and said I could call him if I needed any further help. Then Lori called me, left me a message and stated she had just 'found her cell phone'. We talked Thursday night and she said she would check and see if Friday morning would work for me to have the cruise put in. She said that it was her day off but she would still check for me and know by 9am if it was a good time to bring in my car. She said she would call me by nine but never called me. I went into the dealership and saw Adam. He checked with the service department. There I met Kim. What a great employee! She helped me from start to finish. She got me a car to use, a time that day for my car to be fixed and had me on my way. Even though the service department called me when my car was finished, so did Kimberly. She is the reason I will continue to work with that dealership.

From the very begining of my search on the internet, I was contacted right away. I was very impressed with him not being pushy or forceful, He let me take my time. I have a beautiful Car and it drives like a dream. I will recommend this dealership to anybody that ask where I bought my car. John did call me to find out how I like my car. I spoke to Jess Linville in the service department and she was very nice told me if I needed anything to call anytime.

I inquired online about a new Honda Odyssey. They prompting got back to me and had the best selection around. They promptly got back to me and told me they had exactly what I was looking for. My wife and I drove down to Priority later that day and picked up our new van. Things could have gone any smoother. We never felt pressured and are particularly excited about the free oil changes for life. We usually keep our cars for a along time.

I manage a customer service department so I know what good service should look like. When I visited Priority Honda and was greeted by Devin my expectations of good service were incressed to great! I was impressed from beginning to end with his prefessionalism and reccomendations. The facilty was clean and provided many things to do while I waited. Never did I think I was going to be able to watch a movie while I caught up on my email. Kudos to Priority Honda.

We were approached by a salesman during our recent trip to test drive a Honda Pilot. The salesman was very business like, no personality at all. We test drove the Pilot and had just pulled it back into the parking lot and were looking the paint over before starting any paperwork when another salesman come out with 3 customers and just took the vehicle right from under us as we were looking it over. Our salesman did absolutely nothing except tell us oh it's okay. It's not okay, we were looking this vehicle over before beginning the process of purchase. Needless to say we left immediately and went to another Honda dealer. I used to come to Priority Honda with my 08 Accord for service. I will never patron this dealership again if that is how customers actively pursueing a vehicle are treated. That was unacceptable regardless if another person was even looking at that particular vehicle in which they were not.

I purchased the windshield protection and within the 1st month of owning my car, a rock hit the windshield. I took it to Priority and they called Safelite to do the repair. The repair was not done properly and no one at the dealership had even looked at it before they called me to say my car was ready. They apologized for the shotty repair and told be they would have it fixed. After they called the glass repair company they used, they learned that the glass could not be re-repaired and told me that I would have to pay for a new windshield. Now, I have done nothing wrong and they want me to pay for it because they said, "we only are required to repair the glass, not replace it". So I asked them to repair it, & they are not able to so I'm stuck calling my insurance to get the glass replaced. On a good note, Priority paid my deductible even though I should not have had to go through my insurance for the replacement. Fingers crossed, I wont have any more problems with my vehicle. First experience, not so good.

I went to Anthony to purchase a certified vehicle. I let him know exactly what I was looking for - a great economy vehicle that would get me to and from work for years to come with great gas mileage. I test drove a few Accords and Civics. Anthony had a relaxing no-obligation demeanor and no pressure conversation with me and my husband. We were free to walk around the lot, looking for "the" vehicle. I found it and didn't have to look far. We were able to take the car to lunch to test drive alone and discuss without pressure. We worked out a price on a nice Civic --- my first Honda! I absolutely love it. It is definitely an adjustment - going from a V6 SUV to a sedan but there are so many great differences too and I appreciate the value and the longevity that the Civic will bring me. I told my husband that I think it makes me a better driver, and more patient. It is hard to explain but I take the long route home now just because it is fun to drive. I was able to secure a great warranty on the vehicle and great financing - they were able to find financing that was lower than the bank I've used for 21 years. Anthony checked up on me a few days later to see how my new relationship with the Civic was going and I had only great things to report. He has definitely made a customer for life. I know that no review is perfect - and I work in customer service - but honestly, I can't think of one negative thing to say about this dealership and all the staff that I dealt with. You will not be disappointed.

The paper work for the car loan was not completed by the buyer and Jay says that we have already bought the car and in order for us to get our original car back we would have to pay them around $1,000. Even though our 'trade in' was never 'traded in' by the owner. Jay even said as we left that nothing could be done because the buyer of the new car wasn't there. The 'buyer' never was there! So tell me how we own this car and can't get our car back we already had?

This was by far the best car buying experience ever. We bought a 2008 Honda Accord EX. I did all of the negoiating via email and the phone. All I had to do was come in inspect my new car and sign the paperwork. I was only there about an hour and 20 minutes. I expected there to be a high pressured sales pitch for extras, but there wasn't.
