Found the vehicle I wanted online, called about it, and went to pick it up the next day (June 24th.) While there my salesman let me know there was only one set of keys for the vehicle. He said he could have one made and mailed to me. July 8th I contacted the salesman to check on the key, no response. On July 19th I contacted again and was told I needed to have to car present for the lady to program the fob. On July 23rd I get a text saying they will send a blank fob and I will need to take it to the nearest dealer to have it programmed since I didn't want to make the trip to Princeton. I asked if that was going to be of cost to me and they said no that the dealer could mail order ticket to them and they would take care of it. (Appointment scheduled for August 13th so we will see if that works out.) Meanwhile, on July 19th I called Ramey as I my first payment was approaching and I hadn't received any information on that account or how to access/pay. I was told to contact Toyota Financing, which I did, and they said there was no account. I reached out to the financial manager explaining this and got no reply. On July 29th I was contacted via text and phone to contact Ramey ASAP. I called and was told there was a problem with the paperwork and the deal had been sent back because I hadn't paid the first payment (not for lack of trying.) Ramey wanted me to pay my first payment to them and they would send first payment back with the paperwork. There were long conversations about how I didn't trust that Ramey would get my payment to TFS and asked if there was a way to pay them directly. During these conversations the story changed multiple times with many contradictions. First there was a problem with the paperwork, then it was that it had gotten lost in the mail, then it was that the deal sat on someone at Toyota's desk for too long. I asked Ramey if they could pay the first payment to get the account established and was told that they would not accept payment from Ramey, that it had to come from myself. I later asked how Ramey was going to receive my payment and was told they would take my debit information over the phone, that would go into their account and then they would write a check to TFS, therefore sending payment from the Ramey account. I was never able to speak to a manager. I refused to pay until I had a better explanation of exactly what went wrong. While waiting to hear a resolution all I kept getting told was that it was "no fault of Ramey's," that Toyota had taken responsibility etc. August 2nd I reached out again having not heard from anyone. I get a reply that "for whatever reason it took TFS quite a while to finalize the deal on their end." I was told the deal should be finalized and I could make a payment. I was able to make my payment and have not heard from Ramey since. Yesterday August 9th I received a letter from TFS that reads: Dear Vanessa Mothes: Welcome to Toyota Financial Services. We received your Retail Installment Contract from RAMEY TOYOTA and made the following correction(s): All blank spaces on the contract should have been filled with "N/A" I do love my Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk but what a NIGHTMARE having to deal with Ramey.

I called them over a vehicle they had listed on their website. The guy I spoke to told me to give him time to find the vehicle on the lot and he would call me back. Four hours later I finally got back in touch with him. I was told the vehicle wasn't on their lot but they'd have it any day and as soon as they got it on their lot he would contact me. The very next day they removed the vehicle from their website and marked it sold on cars.com and didn't even have the curtosey to call me or my husband to let us know anything. I'm sorry but that's no way to treat people. We had gotten our hopes up on that vehicle.

The service was great. We weren't there but a few minutes and the manager was very nice.

We experienced an untruthful technician. Don’t trust them to work estimates for your vehicles!

Quick and fast service when preapproved for loan. I cannot attest to how long the process would take otherwise. I was in and out within an hour and a half.

I have tried a few times to communicate with Rameys to NO avail. I told them from the start I prefer handling my business over the net because I live so far from them. Well evidently they didn t get me or just didn t want my business, They have NEVER returned a call. When I was in retail and made my living on commission I tried everything to get the costumers business. I would return all calls whether they had good credit or bad. I went all out for my costumers. I sometimes even made deliverys when my warehouse was to busy to go out. My costumers were my business and my income.

Submitted a request on cars.com. Received a personal email response within 10 minutes requesting a phone call. Then a phone call within 20 minutes. Made an appointment for the next morning when they opened. Was greeted by a sales manager at the correct time. Lead to our purchasing a vehicle. Whole process took less than 3 hours and that included visiting 3 lots to review other vehicles. Ended up purchasing the vehicle we originally inquired about. Overall, a good experience.

Responded to Ramey Motors ad on cars.com and received a boiler plate response (so obviously my email had been received. I immediately (Saturday)sent a note asking if the carfax report could be sent to my email address to expedite the shopping cycle as I live approx 600 miles away and wanted to make sure the trip was warranted. Never heard another word. Perhaps it was a scam, I have no way of knowing. Locally purchased basically the same vehicle the following Saturday using traditional methods.
