I recently bought a car from Randys auto, he had no problem with me taking the car to my mechanic to have him check the car over. Randy was very helpful during the buying process. I would recommend his place in the future to friends. I was cautious at first because of the bad review and had expected him to try n persuade me into buying without having it checked out but was pleasantly surprised how encouraging he was to make sure I was comfortable with the purchase.

My fiance and I drove up there one Saturday to look at a Honda Accord that Randy had for sale. Once we got there he gave us the keys and let us take it for a test drive, we drove it for a solid 20 minutes (city and highway) and found no real issues or problems minus an SRS (airbag) light, which wasn't a major concern for me. We proceeded to make a deal and I purchased the car. About 30 minutes into our trip home the car throws a check engine light and goes into limp mode where it wouldn't rev above 3500 rpms. When I got home I proceeded to pull the codes and see what the problem was. I then called Randy with the codes and told him the problem, he said that he would talk to a Honda technician and see what the problem could be and order the necessary parts to solve it. After not hearing from Randy for a week I called him back asking about parts to fix the car. He gave me the run around which then I mentioned bringing the car back. His reply was "last I checked I sold you that car as is, if it fell apart at the stop sign down the road leaving here it still wouldn't be my problem". Our conversation got a little more civil and he basically said he would do what he could to help me. After getting tired of waiting to hear back from him I asked a few friends (who were Honda technicians) what the problem could be, and it ended up being a pretty simple fix. I never received anything from Randy like he promised and for that he has earned this review.
