Car buying is typically a stressful situation for me because I don't 'know' cars and I always have a feeling someone is taking advantage of me. That all ended this weekend at Ray Catena Porsche with John Algarin. John epitomized friendly, professional service from his warm smile & firm handshake to his in depth knowledge of the cars & special features. There was also none of that annoying back-and-forth when it came time for the bottom line; just one great price that was clearly a deal. I actually came in to look, but John took 'liking a car' to 'wanting a car!' I appreciated his time & attention and am now so excited to be driving this car!! I have bought ,any cars from Ray Catena over the years but this car truly stands out! I bought my 2014 Cayenne from Chris almost three years ago, he was excellent at staying in touch and asking what my needs where. Reaching out to me late this summer with an offer to trade up to newer model sight unseen. He made the transaction seem less even delivering the car to my house on a Saturday and picking up my old one for convenience. I would definitely recommend Chris and Ray Catena!

I purchased a Macan GTS from Morris Grysman. I visited Ray Catena to test drive various models and decided on the Macan. I then came back a second time to test drive the S, GTS and Turbo and decided the GTS best fit my desires and budget. Morris and Joe Germino were very helpful configuring the car (I ordered it to my specs) and suggested some changes that better met my needs and saved me a little money. I got good prices on both my trade and purchase. Morris and Joe are capable, helpful and honest. This is my second purchase from Ray Catena Porsche, and I'm very happy with my experiences there from shopping to purchase to delivery.

This was our family's second Porsche purchase from Ray Catena and it did not disappoint! John is a knowledgeable and professional sales person and simply a pleasure to deal with. John knew I was there for a special certified pre-owned car they had on inventory but he did not take advantage of this fact. From initial inquiry about the car to delivery took less than a week. The buying experience was outstanding and how buying a Porsche should be. We have another Porsche dealer much closer to home but they don't treat us like you get treated by Ray Catena and John! Highly Recommended!!

Mine was a unique experience. I was not sure about what car to get. I knew I wanted an SUV, but was not sold on a Porsche Cayenne. Mike spent a great deal of time with me and his patience was, simply put, amazing. In addition Maurizio was extremely helpful in explaining the car to me. John was great to work with. We negotiated everything via text and email. No hassels. Even my trade was negotiated over the phone without even seeing the car but trusting my word on the condition. In the end, they gave me more for my car because of its condition and contacting their wholesaler. I have been a Porsche owner since 2003 and have had three 911's and a Panamera. All bought at Ray Catena in Edison but sold by three differ salespeople. I recently purchased a 911 Carera S cabriolet and my salesperson was Morris Grysman. My previous buying experiences were all wonderful but this one was far and away the best. Morris goes above and beyond to make you feel that he cares about you as a human being not just a customer. He is forthright, will not promise what he cannot deliver . He will not try to "oversell " you on things that you do not need. in other words, he is a "Mensche". Many times honesty and that car business are not synonymous but in his case I fee that I was treated honestly and with the highest respect. Just another word about service at this dealership. Michael Indyk has been taking care of the servicing of my vehicles all of the years. He too has been nothing but knowledgeable, helpful and honest. Lastly, I would be remiss if I failed to mention Joe Gemmino, the general manager. Joe takes an interest in all of the customers and does everything that he can to make your buying experience a positive one.

As an out of state buyer, it can be a little nerve racking buying a car from someone you have never personally met; however, by the time I went to pick up the car, I felt like John knew me and anticipated my questions and concerns with out of state taxes and registration. Joe's business card reads "brand ambassador", and let me tell he lives up to this title and more. This was my first Porsche purchase. and Mr. Genty took considerable time to not only test drive the car with me, but explain various features and their impact on the price. I never felt pressured into making the purchase, to the contrary I felt like I could always openly discuss my options even if that meant buying from another dealer. In my shopping I looked at four Porsches in person at various dealerships in the NY/NJ area and probably another four online. Of all dealerships that I visited the showroom and facilities were by far the best at Ray Catena. I also appreciated a nice souvenir received upon delivery of the car. Beside Joe, I dealt with his manager Eddie Mayorga, who made important decision to close the deal on terms that suited everybody. This was my #6 Porsche in my lifetime so far & my 3rd with this dealership. Chris and I speak every few months (text or calls) on what's new and exciting in the Porsche line. I was ready to buy a 2017 before they were even officially announced he guided me on when was the best time and what car was in stock or on its way perfect for me. He could have taken my money at any time but looked out for me to get the best car, best deal he could make. That is not just an incredible salesman, but a friend. The entire dealerships from the girls upfront to the other sales people are top shelf, I never feel like I am buying a new car, I feel like I am stopping by a friends house and coming home with a new Porsche each and every time. Porsche itself, the organization bends over backwards to keep a good customer; they value their buyers. I am a business owner, Porsche and Ray Catena are a good business model to follow and Chris Violante is an employee myself or any other business would be lucky to have. I like his style, it's authentic, its genuine, yet most importantly he is beyond knowledgeable about the Porsche line and how to properly structure a deal where everybody involved wins a little. I am there to buy a car, they are there to sell, I am there to get the best deal, they are there to keep the lights on. Chris masterfully accomplishes all. I will be back in 2 years! My only suggestion is that if I buy #7, I get plaque or a parking spot, or a special 911 edition named after me ... that's all. The funny part, Chris would probably pull that off!! I'm 65 years old and have purchased probably 25 or more cars in my life, so I'm pretty jaded about the process. This time was a really surprising and pleasant exception to the rule. John Algarin was the most thoroughly knowledgable salesperson I ever encountered. He went over every detail, every option, gave me the pros and cons and NEVER tried to upsell me. He clearly had my best interests at heart at all times. He fought for an earlier delivery date and got it. John was so enthusiastic about building my car that you would have thought HE was buying it. Of course, it was infectious and I found myself getting excited over this purchase like I did when I was much younger. Most importantly, AFTER delivery, John didn't disappear. I usually shop around for the best deal and don't rush, particularly with such a purchase. For the most part, I hate buying a new car. There are almost to many reasons for this: distrust, vulnerability, bullying, the con, buyer's remorse and worse, my own personal insecurity. None of these fears applied when dealing with Chris Violante at Ray Catena Porsche. I started talking with Chris 8 months before I actually bought a car from him. Chris's was always helpful, patient and at all times, respectful as I honed in on which Porsche I eventually would buy. When I finally made the decision, Ray Catena did not have the vehicle I wanted and Chris went out of his way along with Joe Germino who I also must give high praise and my deepest thanks, to find the car I was searching for and eventually, bought. Throughout this entire process, none of my previous car buying neurosis crept into place and with each phone call, email or text message, I felt like I was talking to a friend, not a car salesman. I was referred to Ray Catena Porsche by my Lexus salesman at Ray Catena. After buying 6 cars from him, I expected the same treatment. John didn't disappoint. I bought my first Porsche 911 at another dealership so I went there first. It had been bought and the new management /sales force was horrible to say the least. No negotiations, rude and no call backs.Ray Catena was the opposite. They gave me a fair price for my trade in and a good price on the new purchase. The service didn't stop after the purchase. I had many questions for John about the operation of the car and he answered them all. He is very knowledgeable about the software and workings of the car. Very pleased!

John Algarin was a terrific brand ambassador who knew everything there was to know about the Macan. He did not pressure us into a sale and talked to his managers about getting us a better price. He went over all of the features of the SUV and even gave us pointers of how to drive while out on the road to take advantage of the features. John was a great sales person and we bought the car because of him. He was very customer oriented in terms of both the pluses and minuses (of which there were very few).. Enjoy!

Morris Grysman has been my sales consultant for many years. I have leased 4 Porsches over the last few years and he has been the BEST consultant by far. My wife & I had one car in mind after our last lease expired - a 2017 Macan S. Ray Catena was the closest Porsche dealership to our home, so that's where we went and that's where we met Morris. He's passionate about selling these cars, experienced, but not at all aggressive, which is a nice change. Morris put us behind the wheel and directed us each through a lengthy test drive, by the end of which all that remained were the details. As before, Morris didn't try to oversell us on anything, just took us through the options, step by step, inserting his thoughts and opinions on certain options, but didn't press us. We actually expected, and we're prepared to pay considerably more than the final number, but Morris steered us clear of a number of options which really wouldn't have added much value for us. That was it, after a few signatures, the folks in Leipzig built our car and shipped it stateside.....which is where the hiccup happened. Because of parent company Volkswagen's recent emissions duplicity, most 2017 Porsche models were held in port for CARB testing for an extra few weeks, which forced us to extend our prior lease more than once. While frustrating, and clearly outside the control of the dealer, Morris always kept us up to date on the status and set expectations as best he could given limited information. Finally our car arrived, Morris sent a car for us, walked us through all the important stuff, gave us our keys, and that was it. In a few years we plan to go back to Catena to see Morris and get ourselves a Panamera (best not to tell my wife.)

On the day Faith called I was thinking of a new Cayenne Faith calls me just a few hours after to make sure everything is ok with my car and offer options for a new one since mine was getting older (2012) it's as if she could read my mind. I explained we are very busy this time of year fulfilling contracts even though it is just a 20 minute drive I cannot get away from the office at this time. She said you stay put and I will bring the car to the office so you can take a look to see if you will like the newer car. I was so impressed and happy for this. In searching for the hard-to-get Porsche Cayman GT4, I was initially told there was no chance to acquire one. However, after meeting Morris Grysman, and then checking with him another time or two, he told me there was a possibility for one. When it comes to buying a car I dread the experience of negotiation. I procrastinate going to the dealer because I do not want to go through the experience. First the salesman then his manager and then the finance guy. Together they think you are an idiot with a wallet.Working with Lenny at Ray catena was an awesome experience. I didn't experience any sales pressure. Yes we spoke about the car price and spent 10 minutes agreeing upon a price...but that was it... 10 minutes flat!! And to my surprise...Lenny was all from beginning to end. No Manager no Finance guy....I felt respected as a client for a change.I did see the Finance manager at the end, when I was heading out. He congratulated me and offered someone to deliver my other car home. I was originally at the Ray Catena looking for a new lease for my girlfriend. After walking the showroom on a busy Saturday afternoon Faith walked up an introduced herself. She was friendly and accommodating. After discussing a few options she helped steer me in the direction for my leasing request. After speaking with her for over 15 minutes I approached her with another interest I've attempted with other sales people and dealerships. I wanted to upgrade my 2007 911 4S (previously purchased at Ray Catena) to a TURBO. This was my second Porsche that I bought from Ray Catena, and my salesperson was John Algarin. I also bought my first Porsche from John as well. On my first visit, I was not sure what Porsche I wanted. I wanted to update my daily driver, so John took me out to test drive a Cayenne and Panamera. He was very knowledgeable about Porsche products and did not put pressure on me. I decided to go with the Panamera, but my heart wanted a 911. I called John a few days late, and asked if I could change my order. He said no problem, and he took me out for a test drive on a 911 Carrera GTS. John is car guy and his enthusiasm for the 911 showed. We worked out a deal and he got me out of the showroom and on the road in a short time.Almost a year later, I still needed to update my daily driver. I emailed John and asked about the Macan. He quickly got back to me and we discussed realistic numbers. I went in for a test drive and John explained to me the benefits of the Macan such as its mix of sportiness and utility. Needless to say, we still talked about the 911. I purchased the car and John got me on the road shortly.John emphasizes that his relationship with the client does not end once the car was sold. Faith Fontaine is a gem who made my experience at Ray Catena Porsche a phenomenal one. She is super friendly, down-to-earth, and professional. Due to my busy work schedule, it was not always easy for me to get on the phone to talk, but Faith was so flexible and accommodating--she communicated with me via e-mail and text in addition to calls as needed. I went to Ray Catena because it was the closest dealer to where I live. Having been treated poorly a number of years ago I didn't think I would ever do any business with them. I just wanted to see the cars and was looking at a 911 S. I have had BMW M-series, Mercedes AMG, Bentley, Ferrari,Audi A8, etc. in my life when I was younger. A young man, Chris Violante, a salesman, came over to speak to me. He was a decent, accommodating, enthusiastic fellow, a performance driver like myself. His candid, honest demeanor won me over. He spoke knowledgeably and enthusiastically about the various cars that were on the showroom floor and of their performance potential. He invited me to take a test drive of any of them. Since I read five car magazines a month and have read books on Porsche and have had a Cayman, I knew what Porsche was about. I went back several times and Chris conducted himself the same excellent way, never pressure. He noticed me eyeing a Turbo S on the floor, he invited me to take one for a ride. I mentioned I thought it was out of my price range. He said he had one that was one year old and was a very good deal. At this stage in my life I had never seriously considered having a car like this.Chris gave me the idea of its possibility. I deliberated for three days. On the fourth day I came in and spoke to Chris and his sales manager Joe Germino. Because of their treatment of me I now drive a magnificent, highly refined supercar. This car is the result of 50 years of research and development to make an incredible performance car. Unlike other cars I've had, this is a reliable every day supercar; it's even good on gas. Amazing! I've dealt with other people at the dealership and they have been excellent also. Especially noteworthy is the service manager Tom G. Their treatment of me and my car has been exemplary, I would recommend them without reservation.

This is the first review I've ever written possibly ever. I think that in itself says it. Chris is the most enjoyable person to work with when it comes to buying a new porsche, or helping you out once you own one. I was driving a 2008 targa4S for a few years daily and was thinking about getting a cayenne for day to day driving to give the targa, and my left foot, a rest. I was introduced to chris thru a cousin. He was not pushy in any way, just totally helpful. I ended up coming in on one day and driving out the same day with a 2015 cayenne turbo. Chris took care of everything- including making sure I got the right deal, service, and even changing my tires from winter to summer every season. i now consider Chris a friend of mine as opposed to a Porsche salesman. If you are lucky enough to work with him when buying a Porsche you will never want to get one from anyone else!

I am writing this review because anyone interested in a very reputable high end car dealership should look no further then Ray Catena Porsche, and Range Rover.First I was in the market for a 911 Gts . There were are few cars I liked on the internet from a few dealers even though Ray Catena was in NJ and I live in Long Island i decided to give them a call. I was very fortunate to speak to Chris Volante . After talking to him a realized he was very knowledgeable about the whole Porsche line . In fact he built all the 911 models for the dealership. Boy he knows what to build!!!I purchased a car from him and he made it such an easy transaction I was delighted, so I went back to NJ 3 months later looking for a Range Rover sport and LR4 ,and I was introduced to Alan Burnside from Land Rover . He was another incredible person to deal with . John Algarin was like a breath of fresh air to this veteran of car buying and a sales professional in my own work life. He explained the details of my lease in complete detail-- some might even say excruciating detail, which to me showed he was on top of his profession and not trying to slide past "the complicated stuff." He was enthusiastic about the car, but did not try to push a lot of after-market upgrades. He knows that a high-end automobile is its best salesman, and that if I like this car and my experience with the dealer, I'll be back in 2 years to do this all over again. He let me know the options, and did not try to pressure me about them. Even when another prospect inquired with another salesman about the same car, John didn't pull the "you better act fast" game because he know I would walk. Nor did he tell me that my lease option was "limited time only," as if that would make me jump and act. We had fun test-driving the vehicle and one other one I was considering, and again, he knew what features to emphasize, and sized up my needs and preferences, including what distinguished the cars and their strengths. While many features are standard on a Porsche, others aren't, and a knowledgeable salesman is crucial to the purchase/lease experience. When John said as the pick-up "call me if you have any questions anytime," I believe he was telling the truth.I have been shopping around for this car for some time, and the other Tri-State Porsche dealers should take a page out of John's book and act like grown men and not assume that car buyers are foolish or gullible or can be pressured by salesman tactics.

He definitely tries to make sure you get what you're looking for and are happy with what you're getting. It was my first shopping experience with John and I hope there will be more to come. I've shopped with other dealers before, and it's hard to find someone so friendly and truly caring for what you need as John. Also, he makes sure that the least favorite part of the car buying/leasing process, which are the paperworks, goes quickly and smoothly as possible. I live on Long Island so a two hour trip to Edison NJ is not something I enjoy doing, however I have bought or leased three cars over 13 years at Ray Catena and while there are plenty of luxury car dealerships in my vicinity I will only go to Ray Catena. My recent experience with Mr John Algarin was exceptional. I had been deliberating on whether or not to lease a new panamera as my current lease was to come due. This deliberation took place over a 3 month period as I had some time to consider. Throughout the process Mr. Algarin kept in touch with me and was there to offer answers to all of my questions. He sharpened his pencil and gave me a great car at a great price. The day of the transaction I called in the morning and told him I would pick the vehicle up later that afternoon. Once arrived I had a few papers to sign and I was on my way after John had thoroughly explained the car's various functions . John has since followed up to see how I was enjoying. His professionalism and sincerity should be commended. My only wish is that I could deal with John on my next lease.

Mike Cayenne: There are a lot of problems and difficulties that I met. One of the problem is that the price for the car and discount were different on phone. Compare to what Iheard, when I came to Ray Catena. Also Joe Germino (Sales Manager in Ray Catena) was extremely unpleasant, disrespectful and pressure about pricerange, and discount. Another problem was with Faith Fontaine (Sales Relationships & Marketing Consultant in Ray Catena) whose spent around 50minutes to bring us to storage, where all cars staying. Seems very unprofessional for Porsche! Nevertheless, after 500 miles my new Porsche had a problemwith some "block/detail" that fall out from the bottom of the car. Which made me very scary and lost. However, Chris Violante (Certified BrandAmbassador - Sales Professional in Ray Catena) told me that it`s fine and all Porsche has this problem. For me as buyer of the NEW Porsche it is notacceptable. I would be ok if it is all problems, unfortunately NO! Right now I can not drive my new Porsche because my plates still did not arrive to me.Hopefully it will arrive soon. I called to Ray Catena to get some information from people who sold me THE CAR, but it was impossible because Joe Germinocurrently on vacation and Chris Violante out of the office. Front desk refused to send me an email with tracking number and told me that my plates alreadysent. etc. etc. etc. .........................!!!!!!!!RESULT / VERDICT: CHOOSE DIFFERENT PLACE TO BUY YOUR PORSCHE!!!!!!!!

I was initially not sure which car I wanted. I got quick appointments to drive not only Porsche but all the other contenders right at one place. After I decided on Porsche; dealing with Options were next. The sales consultant at Ray Catena Porsche-Michael Marinelli was extremely helpful in choosing options. He personally spent 2 hours going through every option that was available. He was also personally available through cell phone on his days off. My car came as promised and 2 weeks prior to delivery date. I didn't spend more that 30 minutes at the dealership to do any paperwork too. This was by far my best car buying experience. I highly recommend Ray Catena and Michael Marinelli.

I stopped into Ray Catena Porsche specifically based on a couple of nicely outfitted Macan Turbos. by chance i was helped by John. As far as working with a salerperson, he's solid. knew the vehicle, knew the options, very accommodating. my deal was somewhat complicated as i was trading in two cars in order to take one, and while it took a few days to finally come to agreement on trade-in prices, i certainly got the feeling John was doing everything in his power to put a fair deal together.One of the things i really liked about John was how available he made himself. considering the amount of communication required to close this deal, i valued his time and availability highly.Overall, i had a very nice experience with this dealership, and outside of the basics of price, the salesperson is the determining factor. We had owned a Porsche Cayenne 2008 for about 3 years by the time we got an offer from Ray Catena to trade in our car and get a new one. I actually was very satisfied with my car and was not planning to change it. In fact, I could not imagine any other car than mine. However, we decided to see what we could be offered. So me and my wife came to Ray Catena Porsche and were met by Lenny Inserra. He got into the case and was willing to help us at his utmost. First of all, he estimated our old car, giving us a good impression of dealing with a real specialist who shares our "Porsche addiction" :) Shortly Joseph Germino joined our conversation. He also was very professional and offered us a fare and reasonable price for our old car. Lenny showed us whatever they had in stock, as well as some cars which still were on the vessel, We really liked moon blue Cayenne which was in stock as it amazingly met our requirements. I daresay, we were lucky to skip waiting for the car to be delivered, since it really takes a while, sometimes even a few months to get the one you want. The lease agreement was arranged very fast. Once we got into our new car, Lenny gave us more than a thorough information on all its new and modified options and possibilities. Ive now had my new 2015 Macan Turbo for just over a week and figured it was time to provide some feedback on Ray Catena and my SA, Chris Violante. As this was my first Porsche, I was looking forward to a memorable buying experience and smooth purchase transaction. Unfortunately, my experiences at two other dealers in the tri-state area ranged from a somewhat apathetic SA (Porsches sell themselves) to an eager-beaver (you need all options) sales rep. My wife and I walked into Ray Catena in November and met Chris . As a Porsche enthusiast and not just an SA, Chris actually listened to what we wanted, striking a good balance of providing advice without over-selling options. This was especially important with Porsche's a-la-carte long list of options in addition to being first time Porsche buyers. We walked out and agreed that we were done shopping: We called Chris the next day and ordered the car.Chris kept us apprised of the build progress throughout the agonizing 4 month wait (as is currently standard for special-order Macans). When it came time for delivery, as were about an hour away from Ray Catena, Chris offered to have the car dropped off at our home. I responded that we wanted the full experience of picking up the car at the dealer. Chris made delivery special, coming in on his day off and spending a few hours going through the entire car.Ive been quite fortunate to having previously purchased new Mercedes, Audi, and BMW cars, but Chris and Ray Catena made this my best and easiest purchasing experience. I expect this will not be our last Porsche from Ray Catena! BTW, the Macan is awesome!

John Algarin was the consummate professional pre- and post-sales. From the very first engagement, John was awesome. He worked closely with me to find the perfect color combination and options for a 2015 Porsche 991 GT3. Once the car was selected, John kept me abreast of my GT3s transit status. A couple of days after my GT3 arrived at Ray Catena, he personally delivered the GT3 in a covered transport to my home, which was just a few days before Christmas. Additionally, he gave me a 2015 Porsche calendar, hats, key rings, etc. And, Ray Catena threw in a few nice surprises as well. Post sales John and I have traded text messages and emails on several occasions regarding questions about my GT3. He continues to be there for me. I want to note that John is a recent college graduate, but he displayed the interpersonal and customer service skills rarely found today among sales professionals. This was my first Porsche purchase and it was an incredible experience. I plan to purchase again from Ray Catena, especially if John Algarin is managing the transaction. Needless to say, I absolutely love my GT3. Bottom-line: I received 5-star diamond / white glove service, which is to be expected when purchasing a new luxury vehicle.

The knee jerk reaction to making a car purchase is trepidation coupled with groans. Not so with the new purchase of a Porshe Cayenne from Ray Catana Porsche.We live in Cherry Hill, NJ and my husband did the leg work and only wanted me to come along for signature purposes. I made a request would our Salesman, John Algarin consider delivering the car to us. Without hesitation he brought the car to us, the signing of papers was effortless and seamless. How nice to do it around my kitchen table rather than in the dealership.John, went to bat for us on price, he exceeded our expectations and was able to beat all other offers. Not only was he a pleasure to deal with but gave up a hunk of time to meticulously review all of the technology to ensure that we were completely comfortable on the operation of all the Cayenne's features. Chris made the experience of buying a car an absolute pleasure. He was not pushy at all. He knew what I wanted because he listened and didn't try to shove extras down my throat to make more $$$. This is the fifth new car I have bought and the first experience I have ever had with a car salesman that I didn't feel like I needed to bathe with a Brillo pad after I left the dealer! I highly recommend Chris to anyone who doesn't want to be "sold" a car but wants a pleasurable buying experience.

Ralph Gallina is the nicest person to buy your dream car from. We went to buy a porsche cayenne, and were extremely impressed with the professionalism and friendly environment there. And having two kids with you while car-shopping is not an easy task, but this place is amazing. Our daughter kept on checking different cars and our son (8 months) was as loud as he could get. But both kids were loved by everyone there. This dealership has the nicest people working there!!!!! Our daughter (7 years) was so happy with all little presents she got from Ralph:) I mean they really know how to take care of you. Phoned RC Porsche late on a Thursday night to ask about a specific vehicle was interested in. Receptionist connected me to John Algarin. John had a great and very professional phone demeanor, and was at the get-go very knowledgeable about the vehicle. John's light sell approach and enthusiasm for my interest got me into the dealership two days later for a test drive. The drive & car were as described and I put down a deposit. Later concerned that the car might not perfectly clear my somewhat steep driveway, I asked John if he could drive out to my home (20 miles away) with a similar car to test clearance. He did so later that day. All was good. A week later John picked me up early Saturday morning to drive me to RC to complete paperwork and take delivery. That process was very straightforward thanks to my salesperson being very prepared. I will also note that on both dealership visits, RC Porsche Sales Manager Joseph Germino stopped by to say hi, which I appreciated. Very happy with my RC Porsche experience.

My first Porsche purchase. Years ago I tried to buy a Boxster but the salespeople couldn't be bothered with me; I can definitely afford the car so they lost two sales. This time Ralph was honest, did not try to rush me and was as helpful as possible. Of course I purchased a Panamera. I will add that the person who set up the car after I completed the purchase was not familiar with the car and couldn't explain some of my questions and was wrong about others. But Ralph was not to blame; he did a great job.

May 30 2014 - We bought our first ever Porsche - A White Macan Turbo. These days most of us walk into the showroom after watching countless youtube reviews and burning midnight oil reading online forums. It is a given that a Porsche enthusiast will walk into the showroom with sufficient product knowledge. So I believe the one thing that separates a Porsche sale vs no sale is the customer experience.Not to take anything away from Michael's product knowledge(which he obviously had), He was very cordial, and gave us sensible recommendations. He never tried to push us into the sale and gave us time to decide. When interacting with Michael, We had a feeling of talking to that someone who we trust before deciding on a purchase.Most importantly as a customer the first thing I expect when I walk into a showroom is respect and I can vouch Michael knows how to take excellent care of his customers. I say this because I approached Ray Catena Porsche after I interacted with another dealer that was close by my home.

As a resident of Florida who summers at the Jersey shore, we needed a midsize SUV that would give us the space and the sports car drive that only a Cayenne can. We were not satisfied with the Florida dealers who would not order me a car equipped as I wanted. I went onto the internet and was assigned to John Algarin at Ray Catenas Porsche dealership. He ordered me exactly what I wanted, was able to schedule a time consistent with our arrival at the airport and picked up my wife and I, numerous suitcases and two puppies who had been squashed under our seats on the flight. Talk about a once in a car buyers experience, they brought a Mercedes truck Limo with full bathroom, plasma TV and enough space for all of us and the pups. John took care of everything and our pickup from the airport was as smooth as making the deal itself. We very highly recommend John Algarin and the Ray Catena team and dealership who took the difficult out of the usual deal and treated us in their VIP fashion

I bought my first Porsche from Steve almost two years ago. Steve has always been there to answer questions and sometimes to chat. For my next Porsche purchase soon would be from Steve, no doubt. Few years ago when my son was a college student, we stopped by Ray Catena Porsche to look around. Steve welcomed us and took my son for a test drive and explained all the details. Steve told my son that when he graduates and earns his income to consider buying a Porsche. The visit then showed that Steve is the type of dealer that values relationship over the long haul instead of an immediate sale. Years later when I bought my Porsche, I could not think of visiting any other dealership or dealer. Sure enough, I've had a great experience before, during and after the purchase, exceeded my expectations.I highly recommend Steve if you are interested in buying a car without sales pressure and want a pleasant experience. The service department is top notch filled with great advisors too.

I could have bought my Porsche at a dealer that's closer to my home but Ray Catena was willing to give me a better deal. I called and Chris V helped with the transaction. He made it simple and stress free. He always kept in contact via email or phone. He was quick to respond to all my questions. He even offered to deliver the car to my home...now that's customer service! I ended up going down there to pick up the car and meet Chris for the first time. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have recently graduated in the past year and was fortunate enough to land a great job, so I decided to lease myself a car being that I am a huge fan of driving. As I was shopping around for the vehicle I wanted I quickly was getting discouraged from many of the dealerships, Open Road, Bell, and Jack Daniels, all treated me as a child who was "window shopping" instead of the young professional I hold myself to be. My father being a loyal Ray Catena Mercedes customer suggested I take a look at Ray Catena Porsche. The minute I walked in I was greeted, asked if I wished for a beverage and asked if I needed assistance. They did not pressure me to any particular car but gave me all the facts on each and answered all my questions. Once I decided which car I wanted I sat down with the rep (Chris Violante) who was extremely knowledgeable about the cars and he worked out the best deal for me. This was my first car, being a Porsche,and my first full time job, it was a challenge to Chris and the guys at Ray Catena to get me approved, but they got it done and I could not be any more grateful. The biggest thing that drew me to Ray Catena was not one rep treated me any different than if an older individual came in, they are courteous and I could not suggest a better dealership to use.

He is courteous, informed, and always does what he says he will do. He politely answered every question I had, including obscure technical questions that required him to get the answers from PCNA.
