The visit was to have what I thought to be a defective seat, repaired. In response, the Service Agent demonstrated the seat to be OK, and showed how to properly use the seat. In addition, the front license plate bracket was installed, at no charge. Needless to say, I am very satisfied with this dealership's professionalism and courtesy. I will defiantly return.

I was in your facility to have a lever on a seat replaced. Earlier in the week, I was having issues with a couple tires that I had just purchased from Goodyear. While on that visit, it was found out that I was having an issue with one of the sensors in the tire, which had already been replaced by Goodyear 2 times before. Just to know that your staff cared enough to take care of the sensor and my battery that was dying without my knowledge, tells me that I have been buying my vehicles from the right dealership. When I left the shop I had smoke coming out from under my hood where oil was spilled and burning off. This lasted for probably 20 min. had me really worried. I would expect more cleanliness from a dealership. The waiting room was dirty, broke down furniture and the vending machines were broke for the 1 & 1/2 hrs I had to wait there.

I was disappointed that it took 4 hours to mount a set of 4 new tires and perform an alignment. My truck has a noise in it like the transmission is slipping or something making some noise at times and it is not driving right. It has been doing it for a while and had them look at it 6-9 mo ago they thought it was something with 4 wheel drive but it is getting worse so took it couple weeks ago and they kept it over night and said they can not find anything. It is getting worse and times it makes a really bad noise, not sure what to do because I know there is something wrong even tho they say can't find anything.

I love the service department. When you pull your vehicle into the area, you are greeted with a friendly hello, what can we help you with. They care about you and your vehicle. If you are waiting for your vehicle, they come and find you in the waiting area to talk about your car and what service it will need next time. My service consultant Adam Franks was great. We talked about Franklin College and when I came back that evening, he said Hi again. It is the little things that make a great service experience. We have lived all over the US and Ray Skillman's is by far the best service department we have ever experienced.

As I was driving home from work, my check low tire light came on. I drove to Skillman, arrived at 5:15 and the tech looked at the tire. There was a bolt in it so they took it in (regardless of the time) and fixed the tire. It was completed by 6 pm! I really appreciated Skillman for taking the time to fix my tire so I didn't have to miss a day of work.

Due to my very busy schedule I needed to do alot of my due diligence online. I do not have the time to travel to multiple dealerships. I contacted Ray Skillman online and received immediate response from Dan DaVinci. I had multiple questions regarding models, pricing and options. Dan answered all of my questions very promptly. Excellent service (as usual) by Adam & his team! I feel confident when I drive out of the garage, that my car is in tip top shape! I love being able to drive directly into the garage, (out of the elements), hand my keys over, and relax in their comfortable lounge where they offer coffee, tea, hot cocoa and cookies if I desire. Also a private room to make phone calls or recline in their leather recliners! I always use their wireless and catch up on emails while waiting. Check out is quick as well. I took my car back into the dealership and discussed the problem with Jamey Smith, the General Manager of the service department. Jamey personally coordinated a courtesy car dropped off at my house when the parts came in, picking up our Buick LaCrosse. The original repair was corrected the same day. Our Buick was returned to our home later that day, along with car cleaning and some gas to reimburse my frustrations, time and trouble. Jamey's professional customer care efforts have kept me a loyal Ray Skillman Buick/GMC customer.

I continue to be impressed with the attention to detail by Adam Franks and the service team at Ray Skillman GMC. I took my Acadia in for a "Service Engine" light. The team not only diagnoses the original problem, but checks for other potential issues/problems. We also followed-up on a previously identified issue we had been watching. A new potential problem was identified and all three problems were handled well. I was offered a loaner vehicle overnight (which I did not accept, but appreciated the offer). I feel the price of the service was fair and I was able to use a $150 certificate I had received in the mail. I appreciate these certificates. Thanks for the good service.

first we have not been in a auto dealership for 11 years. I talked to Jason Clark on the phone and told him of our 2 to down to 1 auto and got to do something. Jason was understanding and said come on up to Greenwood,In. We met up with Jason and he was waiting for us in the parking lot. Told Jason of our situation and a round a bout payment. He did some research on the computer and drove up some trucks for us to look at and drive. After a exhausted search on trucks and pymts. amount Jason was honest and caring about our situation but could not get us in a truck for the pymt. we wanted. I talked to the wife and ask about a SUV. we looked at them with Jason and his sales experience and great I.P.C. skills Jason and I won over the wife from a truck to a suv (terrain). Jason brought up a shiney red one and we drove it and sit down with Jason and started working on discounts and rebates. Jason then said I think we can make a deal with the one we drove and talked about a lease which worked out after Jason explained the present day lease compared to the lease I had 25 yrs. ago with Ford. Jason stated for us to relax and have a seat in the lounge. We then went into the office of Colt Key and I was impressed with his knowledge of a customers wants and needs when it comes to keeping our budget and what we can afford. Again great I.P.C. skills in talking to us in common down to earth language that was extremely helpful and gave us a security in decision making and not getting cold feet. I have a lot more to say but I feel you understand and our first visit was great and memorable beyond belief with the great salesman and a great business manager who both sold us and made a situation become pleasant and very,very professional and caring towards the customers needs and wants.

They not only completed the recall but also changed our oil,rotatedthe tires and washed the terrain after the service was completed. During the leasing process with Ray Skillman Buick & GMC, the team really helped me in finding a vehicle that fit my budget and needs. The financial department and I went through many hours of negotiation and running paperwork on many of the different vehicles on the lot. Not once did I sense a feeling of frustration from anyone even though my schedule as a college student kept them late every night that I was there.Once my vehicle was finalized and we agreed on the price we shook hands and Jason Clark showed me every feature my vehicle had to offer including the safety features which was very important to me. One note:If customers leave the dealership have them give the receptionist there contact number to be called or texted.Maybe an automated sysytem could prompt the service rep on a general time and status on the customers vehicle.The receptionist could enter that contact number into the automated system - some dental office use them to help other patients when there are cancellations in scheduled appointments.

I arrived 35 minutes early for my 2 pm appointment and was taken inside immediately. I read my book in the waiting room while my car was being serviced. I was called to the cashier at 2:30 pm which I consider excellent timing. My oil change, tire rotation and 27 point service was at no cost to me since I had made a mild complaint on my previous survey about a disconnect between the online appointment and the service department which resulted in a long wait. Skillman Buick took my complaint to heart and extended to me a complimentary oil change etc. which was gracious and much appreciated. My experience this time was excellent in every regard.

We purchased tires on our GMC terrain a year prior to getting a nail in a tire. Since we had road hazard on the tires the repair was free but was in/out within an hour on a busy saturday afternoon and the service dept. also adjusted the tire sensors to monitor correctly. Again, Roy Potter and the Ray Skillman team came through where others could not. My Sierra has had an issue with a "check engine" light for years that numerous dealerships and several mechanics have attempted to diagnose with no success. This search also cost me several thousand dollars over the years. Needless to say, I wasn't exactly hopeful when Ray Skillman offered to take a look. But after the outstanding work performed on my car, I figured "what the hay?" Well, it has now been a couple of weeks and no CEL. Not only do they apparently hire magicians in their service department but they were extremely reasonably priced. UPDATE: Still no CELs and Ray Skillman has impressed me so much that I recently used their body shop to give my truck some much needed love. And again, they come through head and shoulders above expectations. They have won a customer for life. I cannot recommend Ray Skillman highly enough.

I recently had a water pump failure in my 2010 Malibu LTZ so I called Ray skillman GMC Greenwood ( The dealership of purchase) and talked to robin and she instructed me to call roadside assistance to get a tow to the dealership, Wards towing was awesome and fast, rode with car to the dealer and they provided me with a rental and then provided me with an excellent diagnosis and repair. I'm a military member who was on my way to ship my vehicle overseas for my next assignment when I noticed a bad vibration in my vehicle during my four hour drive to the shipping location. I called to see if I could get some help from your organization to ensure I was able to still ship the vehicle and not only did you fix te vehicle but they washed and cleaned it to ensure I had no issues with the shipping company. Dropped truck off Wednesday morning and picked up late Friday afternoon. The provided rental vehicle was much appreciated as I reside about an hour away. Amy called me regularly with status updates. A windshield guy inspected my windshield during check in and pointed out two chips I was unaware of. That repair was covered by insurance. Got scheduled oil change and emission system/injection service. Received great price on a new set of Michelins, balance, alignment and a $100 rebate. Had electrical system checked. Diagnosis was a weak alternator. Surprised it was failing at only 68000 miles, but extended warranty covered all but $100. My only disappointment was with the airbag system. A sensor had failed and was not covered by extended warranty. Amy helped me with a coupon to further reduce my costs. Thanks Amy. So, got a lot done. Spent more than hoped, but still was a very good value.

The employees are always helpful and courteous. I do however wish I had a way to know for sure if the people servicing my car are really changing the oil or just topping it off, or if they really do fill the windshield washing fluid, and brake fluids or if I am only getting charged for it. My visit was in response to a recall notice regarding ignition switch problems. I was greeted promptly upon arrival (30 minutes early for my 2:00 p.m. appointment). I was advised earlier to expect the repair to take approximately 1 hour. It took 40 minutes. This is excellent in my opinion since I know they were busy doing these recall repairs, to the extent that they ran short of parts. Bob Murphy, my long-time advisor (formerly with Reeves Buick) kept me informed and let me know when the parts were in and when to come in. I asked for a loaner car since this was a recall issue and I had a class in downtown Indy at 8:00. This has not been a problem before. When arriving I realized I had to go to Enterprise to get a car. This added on 25 minutes to my morning that I didn't expect making me late for my class. I was also told by Amy the seatbelt repair would take 1 hour. I called at 11:30 after dropping my car off at 7:00 and the repair was not done yet. I had to wait around until 1:00 before my car was finished. I think they may not have started working on my car when I dropped it off--I had an appointment--so therefore I had to wait. I had told Amy when making the appointment that I would be finished with my business around noon. This was not the most excellent service since I had to wait on the front and back end of the recall repair. I do appreciate the loaner car but was not aware of the time needed at Enterprise and the hassle of the paperwork I had to go through.

I had to drop my vehicle off at the service center on Monday, September 22nd at 8 am. I arrived early, but Amy was ready to assist me with a smile and warm greeting. She was awesome. I wasn't for sure if my oil change and 4-tire rotation came with my 100,000 mile warranty, so she checked on that and found that it wasn't included. She gave me a good deal on the services that I needed and did not try to sell me anything else. She also asked if I wanted a free car wash. Mike, the shuttle service driver, was also amazing. He was extremely personable and knew his way around the city well. I had such a pleasant drive from your facility to my work and he picked me back up in order to retrieve my vehicle, once the services were completed. This was an awesome experience and I want to commend both Amy (Miller I believe) and Rick on a job well done.

Arrived at the dealership ahead of schedule and was cheerfully greeted by Dianne and my first impression was that this would turn into a very lengthy sales process! My suspicions were correct and the process turned into a four hour visit to complete our purchase. The staff and management were very polite and friendly to deal with and at the end of the day I would rather have to wait my turn at an extremely busy dealership simply because there is a reason for the large sales volume. My husband recently purchased a truck from Ray Skillman and Kristen was our sales person. He had been searching for two years for a truck and when we found this one we thought it too good to be true! Yes, that's right, two years! He's picky!! He called in to get some info about the truck and was surprised right away by how fast Kristen called him back. Not only did she call back with the info needed but she went out and looked over the vehicle to make sure it was everything she was telling him it was. He made an offer and after very minimal negotiations they accepted. Kristen even held the truck without deposit until we could get there the next day. We drove up from Columbus the next morning and much to our surprise everything was ready to go. We drove in and bought the truck and were out by 1030! And she even put some gas in it for us!! Overall we had an amazing experience. I purchased my van the prior day and couldn't begin to compare my experience with the one we had at Ray Skillman with Kristen. We'd recommend her to anyone looking to purchase, whether its new or used!

When you walk into Ray Skillman GMC/Buick, it's obvious Mr. Skillman takes pride in his dealership. It's a very classy place. Everyone I came into contact with was very friendly and more than willing to help and put you at ease. I was fortunate to work with Kristen Green, from whom I purchased my last car (from another dealer). Despite having worked for Skillman only a short time, she was very knowledgeable about the cars. She also let it be known she loves working for Ray Skillman. I purchased a 2014 Buick Verano and am very satisfied with the car and the purchase. I would give the dealer experience 5 stars across the board, except that, at least on that particular day, buying a car took more time than usual. I had already decided that I wanted to buy a Verano, but I wanted one more test drive. After about a 20 or 25 minute drive, it took another 3 1/2 hours to complete the transaction. I spent a lot of time just waiting. I can't imagine that this is typical; I understand there were some glitches they had to deal with. Ms. Green went out of her way to see to my every need and I would recommend her as a salesperson to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Overall, I have to give Ray Skillman GMC/Buick a 5-star rating.

I purchased my 2011 Buick Regal from Ray Skillman two years ago, and the experience was fantastic. They treated me with respect and made sure that I received the best possible deal that I could get. I put 76,000 miles on my car in a little over two years and recently had to have my car serviced. Adam in the service department was extremely helpful and courteous. He was able to get me a loaner so that I could leave my car and get back and forth to work, and the service technicians made sure that my car was in perfect condition when I picked it up. Much to my surprise, they also washed my car, which was in serious need of a bath! As long as I live in Indiana, I will only purchase vehicles from Ray Skillman. From start to finish, they do a wonderful job and really care about their customers.

We have done bought cars and used Skillman exclusively for service for many. Cannot praise the personnel in both sales and service highly enough. They are A-1 in every way. Unfortunately my Olds Aurora was recently T-Boned by a driver and ultimately destroyed. Olds are no longer being sold and I decided on a new Honda. Skillman does not sell Honda and I have to say goodbye to them. Wanted to give them the praise they have been entitled to for many years in sales and especially in the dedication to service after the sale.

My wife and I visited Ray Skillman after visiting a few other places and were very pleasantly surprised at what a great experience we had. We actually had almost gotten a bad deal from another dealership that was trying to sell us a flood car (without disclosing that) but luckily we noticed the rust and sand and walked away. At Ray Skillman we worked with Justin Fendley and had an awesome experience. He was friendly, laid-back, and not at all pushy. We were interested in a Ford Focus and he encouraged us to drive it a lot (we did two test drives) and answered all our questions thoroughly. The car was in great condition and passed our inspection with flying colors. Justin also worked out a great deal with us and actually helped us come in under budget. We are super-happy and would absolutely go back to work with Justin on any future car needs. Thanks! We're happy.

Whats the first thought that comes to mind when you think of car dealerships? It's probably pushy salesmen trying to sell you anything and everything, just to get you to sign on the dotted line. Well that's what I was expecting but it is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE at Ray Skillman Southside Buick/GMC!!!! From the second I walked in to simply test drive a car, I was able to take things at my own pace. No one tried to get sign away my money before I was darn well ready. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and respectful...took me completely by surprise. Being a young single female, I had to mentally prepare for the crap I was about to endure every time I even drove into a dealership lot. This place was WAY different. They took the time to show me all the features of the car, let me take it home and drive it to make sure it was what I wanted, answered all my 100+ questions and let me take the time to read over all the paperwork. They even kept in contact to make sure everything was going well with my new car and to see if I had any more questions come up. Although they gave me a poor offer on my trade-in initially, they later made up for it. They gave me what I wanted for my car, and I got a great deal on a car! I will for sure recommend these guys to all my friends who are looking for new/used cars!!!

I had been looking for a new car for several months and had been to several dealerships, always have to mentally prepare for each one. I've heard all the dealer lines trying to get me to just buy something, anything and that they have "the best deal." Well I went here just as prepared for the typical dealership crap, but I didn't get it, never got it. They were always very friendly, easy going and let me go at my own pace with the entire process. Although they offered me a very poor trade in value for my car initally, I held my ground and decided to sell myself. Well they called me back after a week and they offered to buy my car for exactly what I was asking. I got the exact car I was looking for, got a great deal and felt good about the whole process thanks to them. They answered all my questions, let me take things home and think them over and never once pressured me to buy something that I wasn't 100% ready to buy. I will definetely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a car, used or new. They're easy going, friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are completely happy!

I went to the dealership with my very specific requirements, just to find out that how easily they understand what exactly you want. As what I wanted was too specific (color, model, year, miles etc), they took some time to get me the right car but it was still a tremendous turnaround time. All the executives have excellent knowledge and fair understanding of automobiles market and they quickly grasp the requirements. Buying process was smooth and they took care of all the paper work. The facility and inventory is huge and you won't come back disappointed. The price of the cars is also very competitive. Been a while since the purchase and the car is so satisfying just like brand new. Thanks to Ray Skillman and its staff. Great job!
