I bought a car a little over a month ago from here. I had been looking at their inventory for months until I had enough money and when I finally did they posted a listing for an '06 Impreza Outback Sport. Loved the look of it, called them up and told them I would be coming to take a look. I live just outside of Syracuse, so I wanted to make sure the car would still be there. Went and checked it out, drove it, put it through its paces and liked it so much I drove away with it that day. They made the whole process easy, and I just brought my plates and info with me. The price was incredible, as are all his prices. This car was well below book value. I haven't written a review until now because I wanted to get it fully checked out by my mechanic and drive it for a bit before I sung this dealer's praises. Other than a couple of minor issues (which I knew needed to be fixed before I bought it), the car is in fantastic shape and has run great every day since I've bought it. All of his cars (that I've ever seen listed) are always so clean looking and well-priced. Even if you live a little bit far from here, I highly recommend this dealer, especially if you love Subaru. He stocks them very frequently and always seems to sell good quality, well-priced cars. Excellent dealer and excellent experience overall.

In 2014, I was in the market for a car for my oldest to drive to his part time job. I live in a rural area and wound up traveling to the Rochester area to find something reliable and affordable. Bill was upright and honest and even let me take the cars I was considering almost an hour away for my own mechanic to check before purchase. The car I bought was fantastic and would still be going strong if my son had not had multiple accidents. I bought the replacement car from Bill. And I have since bought two more cars from him, one for myself and one for my next child to drive to work. Of the four cars I purchased from Bill in the last 27 months, only one has had a problem post purchase and Bill made sure it was taken care of.I hope to continue to buy from this man for as long as I need to buy used cars or until he retires.

I just bought my 2008 chevy Equinox from Bill at Rochester Imports. This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Bill is a pleasure to work with and very patient. He was willing to stay late for me to be able to come pick up my car and was always prompt at getting back to me with information. I absolutely love the car. Great cars at great prices!! We purchased a 2003 Subaru Legacy Outback in August for my daughter. We wanted a reliable and safe vehicle for her college commute. We went to Rochester Imports based on the positive reviews and selection. Bill was very accommodating to our schedule, meeting with us on a day his dealership is closed. The purchase transaction was very smooth. Mr. Henshall serviced the vehicle timing belt and checked on a few concerns we had once the car was purchased. Shortly after the purchase we experienced some issues with the car. Bill was willing to service and correct the issues, working with us which was very reassuring. This was our first experience with a used car dealer. We are greatly appreciative to Bill for keeping the entire experience a positive one. We've recommended his dealership to many and will continue to do so. When the time comes to need another vehicle we will visit Rochester Imports first. Thanks again, Bill.

I bought a awesome Forester from Rochester Imports. Bill offered me one that had the options and miles I was looking for with a price I could live with. One small issue came up with the truck and he had it repaired until it was right. He is very happy to please and make the customer happy. I told him I've had some bad experiences in the past and he said "Its time for you to start having good one" He was true to his word.

Bought a 2003 Saab several months ago for my oldest daughter. Needed a reliable and safe vehicle. After being screwed over by a so-called friend, I needed to find a Dealership where I could purchase a decent, reliable vehicle at a good price. Bill at Rochester Imports sold me my Jeep at a good price. And worked with me to repair a couple problems about a week after the sale. All-n-All it was a very good experience. I love my Jeep. I have already recommended Bill & Rochester Imports to a family member And I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from him in the future.

Like other people say, Bill is great to work with. I was looking to purchase something very quickly & started looking on Saturday afternoon. Bill was willing to meet with me on a Sunday (when he's normally closed) as I indicated the need for speed and that I couldn't meet during the week due to work. I test drove 5 cars; good selection (especially of Subarus!) & reasonable prices all around. There was a problem with the back windows not going down, which Bill honestly didn't know about, but he was willing to work with me on a fair price when I came back the next night to buy the car. Bill was great again here as he was willing to meet with us after hours. After taking the car to a mechanic a few days later, I fortunately found no other problems...only the routine maintenance to be expected for any used car with 100,000 miles on it! The point here being that the car looked good cosmetically and was also sound internally- all for a fair price- on point with Kelly Blue Book. The name of the used car game may often be shady, but not in this case. Rochester Imports truly is a good, honest place to buy a used car! As this was my first car purchase, I was very lucky to have such a good experience. These reviews are the reason I visited Rochester Imports in the first place, so I hope mine compels you to do the same! :-)

Bill is simply fantastic. Just bought my second car from him. Even though it fell outside the NYS lemon law, when my CEL came on 4 days after buying the car and needed not one, but BOTH cats replaced, he unflinchingly paid for the repair. I just get the sense that he deeply enjoys putting people in the right car for the right price. He's honest, trustworthy, and I have every intention in buying my next low-price high-milage car from him. Folks, new cars are a gluttonous waste of money and newer used-cars are painfully overpriced. If you're like me and you'd rather use your hard earned money for more important things than a flashy car, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!! My sincerest thanks goes out to Bill for both my cars and my next one too :)

Bill did a good job working with me on the price, has a lot of inventory for a small lot and is not into pressuring customers. Much better than some of the other small dealers that operate in the area. I woulds recommend him if you're in the market for a Subaru. Always has a good selection. Real nice guy, give him a try!

Bill was great. I bought a 2001 suburu outback. Not only was there no pressure in purchasing a vehicle but his coustomer service was great. after i bought the vehicle it needed some minor repairs and bill took care of it free of charge. I would recomend him to anyone who is looking for a used car at a great price and with no hassel. Thanks for everything bill.

The car we purchased had been bought from auction and fixed to pass NY inspection - no detective work required because the reseller told me this off the bat.Value for the price was fair and the price no higher than it would have been from a private party.

Ok, yes this business is behind a row of other businesses and yes the office is in the main building amid other offices but if you can overcome this and look at the actual vehicle you came to see then you will find a great deal because I sure did! They are willing to negotiate on price (many other dealers only come down 100 to 200). The salesmen really worked with us and I am very satisfied with the deal. By the way I scoured Craigs List, AutoTrader, D&C and other various dealers throughout western NY and I found the best deal here so that says volumes on the price and quality of the car I bought. Check them out, you won't be sorry!!

Bill was friendly and helpful. I looked at several cars and made a great deal on a fantastic car that I am extremely happy with. As with any used car purchase, only time will tell how well the car performs and that has nothing to do with the dealer. He even had four brand new tires on it. Definitely a great experience. Would buy from him again.

I sent an hour looking for this dealer only to find him behind other businesses in a dark ally it seemed like. I found this place and no one was there i called the number and had to wait for him to show up there why have business hours if your not there durning them lol!!! Then to my surprise it got even more weird when the sales guy got there he was kreepy i asked him about the service of the subaru he knew nothing! i would never go here again even if the car was 5000 under the book price good luck kreep
