Rome preowned is the greatest car dealer around ,hands down . We ended up going to Rome Preowned a few years ago and purchased a Honda Pilot,which my wife absolutely loved.we decided to upgrade and saw that these guys had a Honda Pilot that really struck my wife. So I went down and talked to Jesse and told him what we wanted to do and we got approved and also got a great rate at a FCU and my wife is just ecstatic with her new pilot. Both times that we have dealt with Jesse and Jason , they have been phenomenal and we absolutely love the no pressure approach and the relaxed shopping experience at Rome Preowned. We also loved that you can test drive and not feel pressured with a salesperson riding with you. Jesse and Jason are truly amazing and trustworthy and make the vehicle shopping experience more rewarding. Thank you for two wonderful vehicles and a happy wife, you guys rock. We will definitely be back when we need to vehicle shop again.

On October 31st, 2016, I went down to Rome Pre-Owned after searching on their website for my first car and upon arrival I was greeted by the gracious owner, Jesse. He immediately started asking questions about what my price range is and what I look for in a car and matched me with the one I ended up purchasing just three days later. I definitely recommend Rome Pre-Owned to anyone looking for a car at a decent price. I want to thank Jesse for his incredible service and I hope to do business with him again in the future!

Went to purchase with Cash a late model (2012-2015) car. I was told they had none except a beat-up Honda in the garage, which had obviously been in an accident. This was not on the car report they had given me for the vehicle. While both Salesman were very nice, once they heard cash I was told "there is nothing there that I would like". While I appreciate the honesty, really unless you want a car with a questionable history, this is not the place to go, they are purely looking to finance your vehicle and charge you 2 or 3 thousand dollars more than what the car is booked at.

I hate car salesmen I'm going to be honest here. But the guys at Rome pre-owned are great to do business with. They don't pressure you into something that you don't want, they're friendly, respectful. All around great people. Buying a car can be a headache these guys made it easy and sorry it took so long to write a review guys!

If you are looking for a good, honest dealership with good vehicles, affordable pricing and a great staff, this is it!! After doing research on dealerships we decided to take the 2 1/2 hour drive to this down to purchase a vehicle. The quality of vehicles they carried for the price, was almost unbelievable but we decided to take the chance. We purchased a Ford F-150 and after getting it home and driving it for 2 weeks, found an issue. We expected to get the "used car dealership attitude" when we called about it - along with the run around as to whether it would be under warranty or fixed. We were so very pleased that we were wrong. Not only was there a lack of attitude, we found that the staff was sincerely apologetic and we were told to bring the vehicle in as soon as we could and they would get it fixed. Our vehicle was fixed with a genuine smile and good will. There was no bad attitude on the staffs part. Just the opposite! I cannot say enough good about this dealership and their staff. It is well worth the drive and your trust.

Went here to look at vehicles, received no pressure at all when in the lot. I was free to make my own choices! Salesman Jesse was very knowledgeable about entire inventory; I asked about 5 or 6 vehicles. I would-and am going to-buy here again. It was the easiest vehicle transaction anyone could ever ask for. My new vehicle is a pleasure to drive. Thanks Guys.

Justin and Jesse at Rome Pre-Owned Auto Sales were both awesome! They were friendly, helpful, and non-pressuring, which made my car buying experience relaxed and very easy. I shopped around a bit before I found them, so I can definitely say they were the best people I dealt with and they had a great selection of quality used vehicles. It was well worth the extra drive to get to them from Syracuse. I LOVE my new car and will not hesitate to go back for the next one. I highly recommend them. Thank you again guys!

I got 2012 Honda Fit from this dealership. They price their vehicles competitively and did not mind my pesky questions - I went there with a research done, with many questions, and I asked them if I can take the car to independent inspection and they were like, "sure!" They seem to confident in the quality of the cars they offer that they let me drive the car and check everything alone - which was appreciated, since you know how many car dealership you can't quietly and thoroughly check things out without sales person talking over your shoulder - detracting us from concentrating. The inspection found a couple of minor issues such as burned out head light bulbs but everything else was great, and they fixed those issues right away. After I returned I noticed the interior light bulb was also out, but they also offered to fix it. I drove out 2 hours to get the car, and I'm so glad I did! The small office was kept tidy and clean - like a everybody's favorite small business. I heard they've been in business over 20 years. I felt pretty comfortable buying a car from them. When I went there, there were three guys working J, J, and J (I think Jesse, Justin and Jason if I remember correctly) ... I asked they are brothers but they are not related. I thought that was funny.

Rome Pre-owned is hands down the best buying experience I've ever had. When I found a car in their inventory online that I was interested, I immediately called and told them I was looking for a fast transaction. I live two hours away, and was selling me car in 3 days, so I needed to drive home that day. When I took the trip up, the car was ready to go. A quick test drive and I was sold. They quickly got paperwork taken care of, detailed the car (AND my mother's car, who drove me up!!), and I was driving my new-to-me car home in just a few hours. Upon returning to my home town, I had my long-time mechanic inspect the car. It did need an alignment and a repaired axel shaft, which Jay offered to either cut me a check for the work (what it would cost him) or drive back up and do the repairs for free. An alignment is completely routine maintenance, he did not have to comp the cost of that, and yet he did! Everyone was ridiculously friendly and helpful, and I felt like a valued customer - not just a source of money. A very unique and great buying experience, I would recommend this dealer to absolutely anyone looking for a fairly priced, low milage used car. Thanks to the whole team!

I would highly recommend Rome Pre-owned Auto Sales. I have purchased a lot of vehicles and this was absolutely the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. I live in another state my transaction was all done via phone and email. Jesse was very honest and helpful and a pleasure to work with. He was not a pushy salesmen, he took the time to answer all my questions and HONESTLY. I had the car transported to my state, Jesse helped make sure that happened without any any issues I received the vehicle EXCELLENT condition. Rome pre-owned is an absolutely superb dealership. Jesse and Jason make buying a car enjoyable and easy. They do not put pressure on you to buy and answer all questions and return contact quickly and thoroughly, plus they are just nice guys. I bought an 07 Jeep Commander from them and it was spotlessly detailed and fully serviced the day before. Plus the parts they couldnt get by the time I wanted to pick up the car they said we could buy and just send them the bill (my fiancee is a mechanic) They genuinely care about their customers and keeping them happy and go out of their way to make sure the vehicles they sell are safe and in great condition. This is the second car I have bought from them and I drive ovet an hour to get there. I will never buy anywhere else. If you need a vehicle and want great service you should really go here!

I have always been weary of buying a used car my whole life even into my adult hood. From the moment I walked on the lot to when I drove away in my beautiful preowned suv I felt safe secure and confident in the choice I made. I would urge anyone who has been had or taken g advantage of in the past to please try Rome pre-owned. It changed my opinion and life. And I have to mention r he owner Jason who is involved on every sale who treated me like family . I'll never not send someone I know family or friend there to purchase there next vehicle. After finding myself without a car after a run in with an errant log placed in the road I was on the hunt for a replacement Saab that I could afford. My insurance company only paid out about 1/3 of what I had purchased my now wrecked vehicle for only months before. I sent a note to Rome Pre-Owned via the link I that had been found in my online searches. In what seemed like only minutes I received a call from Jay. He was friendly and opened the conversation with "please do not think my comments about this car are from your typical used car dealer..." I was looking at a 15 year old Saab and the pictures looked great. Jay told me his thoughts on the vehicle and that was enough for me to make the 2.5 hour drive to his dealership. I took the car for a test drive and everything was just as Jay had said. We had the paperwork done in short order by his assistant. Within and hour or so I was on my way back home with the "new" Saab. The entire staff at Rome Pre-Owned was helpful and happy to provide any assistance they could. I will certainly be calling Jay if and when the need arises for another vehicle. Even though the distance was somewhat out of my general area it was worth the trip.

After a pretty nasty accident, I was left without a car so I started the dreaded process of used car shopping. After spending a few days at dealership after dealership I ended up at Rome Pre-Owned. What a difference!! Friendly, not pushy, let me "shop" without trying to convince me what I wanted/needed. Out of all the dealerships I went to, they were the only ones that let me pick out the ones I wanted to test drive, layed out the keys for me in the office and just let me drive each of them alone. For me, that was a huge selling point! There's nothing worse than test driving a car with a sales person in the passenger seat next to you! The finance part was pretty much just as easy. A quick application in their office and I was called the next morning by the bank and given a time that afternoon to go in and complete my paperwork. A quick email with my insurance cards and I picked up my new truck the next day. The truck came with a 60 day bumper to bumper warranty. I waiting out my 50ish days then called them last week to let them know some very minor issues I wanted looked at. They got me in in a day, fixed all the small, normal used car issues and I picked up my truck at the end of the day. If you're looking for a used car, take the 15 minutes to check them out. It will be worth your time!

Jay the owmer is awesome to deal with. You are like a friend he's knownhis whole life the.min you walk into his doors. From start to finish he is.the best and puts.you first as if you where GAatilly. I send all my family and friends to Jay. If they.don't have what you want he will defiantly get it for you within a couple days at a fraction of the price anywhere else. Great people there. We all know what a nightmare it can be to car shop. Jay makes it fun. From buying to any.issues.you may have . Can be something as simple as a spot on window and he'd tell you bring it on down and he'd wash them for ya..So if your in the market to buy ,seriouslytake 5 mins and go introduce yourself to Jay and see what great experience it can be to have fun whilst buying.

I purchased my 2004 Ford Freestar from Rome Pre Owned Auto Sales last year on October 14th 2010, when i first came to their dealership i was greeted by James who is their sales guy, he came out and was very nice and friendly, he showed me the van and patiently explained everything about the van, he was'nt pushey at all, then he brought me inside to meet the owner Jason, who is a super cool guy, we talked about financing and the total price for the van including sales tax, After negociating with him, we both came to a price that was fair for him and i, The very next day i came to pick up my minvan, and it was all nice and clean, and even had a half tank of of gas in it, I love my minivan, and would definitly go back to Rome Pre owned auto sales anytime to purchase another vehicle and i highly reccomend them to anyone!!
