We saw our favorite salesman Steve Entrott. He was honest gave us the pros and cons of buying verus Lease. He took very good care of us explained everything and said come in any time and he would help explain. Not being young it was nice to have someone not look down at us but offer to help us understand all the new stuff. You have a very good salesman and I hope you appreciate him and treat him well. I was extremely impressed with Rowe Hyundai of Auburn and the professionalism their staff extended to me during my car buying experience. I was near lease end on my current vehicle and visited Rowe to begin looking at options for my next vehicle. I was greeted by Adam Loudermilk on the main showroom floor who had me test driving the Sonata within minutes. He then introduced me to Chris Goulette who was able to answer every question I had as well as showed me a few other options for vehicles within their lots. By the end I had test drove 3-4 vehicles from their lot. What impressed me the most was I didn't feel like I was being pushed into purchasing a vehicle each time I visited. Of course they want my business but when I explained my situation and that I wanted to do my research before making a decision they were understanding. They kept me informed of current incentives and rebates thru email and would occasionally call if a good deal was available or new vehicle hit their lot. Cleve, in their internet sales department was on the ball with information as well. All in all I walked out of Rowe Auburn Hyundai with a Sonata Limited with the technology package and I love the car. I walked into the dealership around 8:30am and was driving out by 11:30. That might seem like a while but their finance team was in a morning meeting. Chris went over all the various features of the vehicle before I left the lot and they helped me return my previous lease back to the dealership. I would highly recommend Chris, Adam and Cleve to help you with your car buying needs. Do not be afraid to ask them questions as they are very knowledgable and help you to understand what you are looking at and how it works. I would certainly buy my next vehicle with them. I was in for service on my 09 Sonata that was purchased at Rowe used. While waiting I took a look at the lot and found the brand new Accent was being discounted as well as having very good rebates available. Steve, whom myself and 2 members of my family have purchased vehicles from, was very knowlegeable at the same time Had a very laid back approach to working with me. I was offered what I thought was a very fair trade sniffer and jumped at the opportunity to own a new car. Finance was very helpful in determining length of loan and APR rates that would enable us to fit the car into our budget. Overall a great experience-again, at Rowe.

Wonderful. The staff did all the details and financial thlngs like a breeze. My actual lease would end December. I came in to the service dept for and oil change and overview of the car. My sales agent contacted me the day prior and asked if I would be interested in an early lease..Ok, why not. My husband had just passed on July 27 and I did not know what I would be up against in December financing and penalty for a few dings or scratch. Cleves took all the worry out of it as did the young lady in service and the lady in financing. These walked me expertly through all the details. Amazing! And, again thank you to all who assisted me.

I will say that I love my vehicle and the salesman was pleasant to deal with. The service department on the other hand is bad. I was talked into purchasing the best warranty and was told I would be taken care of. My wife won't even go into the service department because of the rude people she had to deal with. Two weeks ago I took my car in for an issue and was told that there would be a loaner car available when I was to drop my car off for work. Now it's a week later and I'm still waiting for a loaner vehicle. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership.

When I arrived at Rowe Ford it was a VERY HOT day. Conner Tremblay was the only salesman on the lot (which impressed me) He worked hard answering any questions I had, arranging a test drive. Conner was not in on the day I took delivery on my new car so Brian Kelsea closed the deal and delivered my car. Great Team Work!!!

The sales person was easy to work with and competent. My experience with the finance person was less satisfying. Person is trying to sell you extended warranty, protection for car, gap insurance etc. One does not have the time to read the contracts. I know he was trying to maximize profits but I wasn't interested. In the service dept., the application of the protection package was rushed. When the dealer was notified of the situation, they quickly arranged for the Service Dept to correct their work which was completed to my satisfaction.

Rowe in Auburn was super easy to find. From the moment I stopped in, it was a place with friendly faces. Everyone was very nice and wanted to help me any way they could. For me, I was not planning on buying a new vehicle, but due to an unforeseen car accident that totaled my previous vehicle I had to begin my search quickly. I only had about a week to look before my insurance company would come and tow the old one away. I realistically only had about two days to find something new with my tight work schedule. It was a very stressful time for me and I began to become frantic as time was ticking away. Nerves shot, and anxious my family and I stopped at the dealership and began our search. We were quickly greeted outside by Jimmy Rodden. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, patient and most importantly put me and my needs first. I was under a time crunch, budget, and a whole lot of stress. I had a few emotional melt downs, and he was nothing but kind to me. I never felt pressured or uncomfortable to buy a vehicle. He listened to everything I needed and helped me find the vehicle that met all my needs. He made me feel like I was important and his first priority. And most importantly that my next vehicle would be safe and was what I wanted. He was very personable and the few days we shopped around with him helping us we began to get to know him as well. This is very important to me. This shows me that he really enjoys his job and enjoys what he does for a living and that he cares about his customers. The thing is though, I never felt like a customer about to make a sale. I felt like a guest and my new friend was helping me find my next new car. Being so stressed out and emotional those days, my mind was running and my attention span was short. Jimmy was so patient with my crying, and asking him questions he already answered earlier. I was concerned about my car payments and what that would look like. Also with the recent accident, my insurance was certain to increase. I was under a budget and he helped me crunch numbers and see what I was comfortable with. He even helped me call around for insurance quotes!!! He tried to make the whole experience as stress free and painless as possible. The day I signed the papers and came to pick up my new vehicle he made sure I was 100% satisfied with everything. He even offered to bring the vehicle to my work if it wasn't ready in time before my shift started. Everything about my experience at Rowe Auburn was satisfactory. I ended up purchasing a 2016 Kia Rio. I've had it about two weeks now. I've received a few follow up phone calls to make sure everything was going great. I love the customer service here. Also I love my new vehicle. It fits my personality perfectly, I am so very happy with it. Everyone was so helpful and kind and for that I am so greatful. I even registered my new vehicle earlier today and I was missing a paper I needed when I was at the town hall. I called up Rowe and they quickly faxed it right over. Everyone has been so helpful. I recommend everyone to come to Rowe Auburn and visit Jimmy Rodden to help meet all your needs. I will definatley recommend Jimmy and this dealership to all my friends and family. I will also buy any future vehicles through him because he is the best most patient, knowledgeable, and kindest employee. I don't have any complaints, and he exceeded my expectations. It only lets me give 5 stars for a rating, but he deserves many many more.

I appreciate Rob having Rowe split 50/50 the replacement of our vision screen in our 2013 Ford Edge. Ford should have covered the expense 100%.. Especially paying for extra coverage and car less than 36K miles. It took way too long to get resolved. 9/1/15 to 2/16...

The service was great. Tom was excellent about trying to let me use the vw dealer card that the diesels are receiving. However getting the card activated and used was a pain because the dealership is an hour away and I could only do it on the weekend. I do not blame Rowe for that inconvenience, just vw. But the weekend crew was not up to speed on how to deal with the card.

I was having trouble with my 2013 VW Jetta. My check engine light came on due to a misfire. I went in to get it checked but there didn't seem to be an issue. So the code was reset and I SaaS on my way. The day after my epc light came on and my car didn't want to accelerate. I called Rowe immediately, the scheduled an appointment as quickly as they could. I went in on the following Monday and talked to a very helpful and professional staff member. I addressed my concerns and he assisted and took over to get the problem solved. The staff over at Rowe Auburn are supreme. I won't ever go anywhere else.

I was having electrical problems in my Hyundai Elantra that caused an ear piercing sound to emit from the sound system. The only way the sound could be stopped was to disconnect the battery. At this point I took the car into the dealership and the spent several days trying to replicate the sound - no luck. Brought the car back home only to have the sound come back within days. Called while the sound was happening and was told to take out a fuse - sound still would not stop. Again went to the dealership and the guys drove miles to try to get the car to perform. No luck. After a short time the sound system stopped completely. The radio appeared to be running, the GPS, XM... just no sound. Brought the car back in, again, this time they were able to find that an amplifier was bad. This was replaced and my radio works once again. I appreciate the fact that they did not give up on me and never treated me like I was crazy even though they couldn't get the same things to happen that I was hearing.

I had a 9:30 appointment for an oil change at the service center and waited for it to be done. It took about an hour and 15 minutes. I have had similar experiences with the "Express" Lane. If I go to the Victory Lane around the corner of my house I can be in and out in about 15 minutes. Other than the time factor I had no problems with the experience.

I bought my 2006 Explorer brand new from the dealership, and have always done all service, whether recommended or scheduled. I've always used the dealership even though there are closer places to my home because of the excellent knowledge of my vehicle. I now have about 115,000 miles on the SUV, and because of the excellent service and vehicle dependability, I doubt that I would purchase any other vehicle from any other dealership.

I brought my truck in for an oil change and they found my antifreeze didn't even look like antifreeze and they recommend a flush. They also noticed I had a bad tie rod. We recently had our 2009 Kia Borrego in for an oil change and a tire rotation. We have owned the vehicle since new. The dealership recommended the 90,000 mile service which consisted of a transmission flush (closed system, so no way to check level) and a coolant flush. The total work cost us a bit over $500, which I thought was on the pricey side, but when you have work done at dealership, it is likely to be done correctly. After driving about 1,500 miles, we noticed the car was shifing hard and hitching, then the check engine light came on. We took the vehicle back to Rowe, and they determined that their was a camshaft failure, which required a major engine overhaul...fortunately the car was still under warranty and after two weeks the engine was repaired at no charge - gotta love that 100,000 mile warranty!!!After bringing the vehicle home, I noticed a puddle of oil under the car. I wiped it up and it came back. I also noticed the same hitch in the car that we had before - I returned the vehicle to Rowe and they determined that the oil pan had not been tightened and oil was leaking out the gasket. They also found that the Transmission was 2 1/2 quarts low - when I asked how it got that way, they told me that it most likely did not get filled properly when they did the transmission fluid change. (The coolant was also low and topped off - looks like not enough of that got added at the 90,000 mile service either.)I have to give Rowe credit for owning up, but it now makes me wonder if any of the other work I have had done there was done correctly. Two jobs; two mistakes. I also can't help but wonder if the lack of transmission fluid and "hitching" caused by it contributed to the engine failure.I complained to the gentleman at the service desk that I would expect more for $500, and was told that they didn't charge me for repairing it the second time around. (I would hope not!!!)Based on the above, I could not recommend Rowe Auburn for any work outside warranty work authorized by the factory. I would say that everyone I dealt with was courteous and respectful, but with the high rates, I don't think it sets a high bar to expect the work to be done correctly the first time around.

Purchased Kia 5/14. It has performed as promised until my steering wheel locked up while I was about to leave Walmart today (1/5/16) coldest day of the season so far. I had two different places diagnose my problem as the brake master cylinder -- my own mechanic (who couldn't do the work) and the VW place in Waterville (who didn't get back to me). I took my car here and that was a huge mistake. They replaced the master cylinder and made my car unsafe to drive! My brakes no longer worked. They charged me $400 for that and said they weren't liable because they didn't actually diagnose the problem.I tried to tell Jen Robinson, Chris Goulette, and Dean Swindler several times that they made my car unsafe to drive. All of them said it was not Rowe Auburn's fault. At one point Jen Robinson told me, "YOU made your car unsafe to drive. We just did what YOU asked us to." No kidding -- she actually said that!After fighting with them for hours, they finally agreed to put the old master cylinder back on the car. Like magic, my car was suddenly safe to drive again. So obviously, they had a defective part, but they still tried to charge me over $400 for putting a defective part on my car and destroying my brakes!They eventually refunded my money, but I would never go back here.

Drove 45 minutes to see a car we had called about only to arrive and greeted by a young salesman. After explaining why we were there and who we were told over the phone to speak to, we were informed that person was a manager and unavailable. He told us not to worry and that he could help us and then took us around the lot to find the car we wanted to see. We spent 10 min walking around trying to find the car with no luck, so when he couldn't find it he took us over close to some new 2016 models and said take a look at these and to wait while he went to find the car real quick. 20 minutes go by and he's nowhere to be found, so considering the cars he shiwed us were locked and we couldnt see inside them, we went inside to sit and wait because it was very hot and my back was starting to hurt. Another 15-20 minutes and he's still no where to be found. At this point my husband is not happy and ready leave as it seemed like we were just blown off but we had driven so far and I really wanted to see the car. Finally someone comes up and informs us that he heard us talking, and the car we called about hours earlier was being driven by a Manager who had been using it as a demo and wasn't even on the lot because the guy wasn't due into work yet! They said he was on his way in so we decided to wait to see the car and at this point my husband was clearly upset and tried to explain that this could have been explained to us prior to us waiting a half hour with no one telling us what was going on. Then at this point the young dealer that left us hanging shows up and concurs that there was miscommunication . I had a feeling he was new which I figured due to the fact that his fellow salesmen were laughing at him behind his back while he was speaking with my husband. I thought that was in very poor taste and unprofessional and I almost felt bad for him but from that point on he had a bad attitude and it was obvious he was done. Apparently he felt that the bad experience we had up till that point was totally not his fault and and it was out of his control, and felt my husband was nit justifies in being upset but made no mention of taking off and leaving us with no word for a half hour. He finally got a quote for us and just tossed the paper in front of my husband, and just sits down.. no explanation no nothing. My husband asked if that was the final offer and he said yes but we could speak further to one of the sales managers about pricing and he goes to get the guy and then just leaves. I will never go back to this dealer and I certainly do not recommend anyone else to shop there either. Never have we been treated so rudely as customers and I hope that no one else does either.

I had a fantastic experience with Rowe of auburn and the sales man Chris goulette and manager Charlie burgess were fantastic. They worked hard to put me into a vehicle I could afford and would be economical for me as well as safe. This is my first car purchase as a dealership and in started the entire process online at their website then thru email. By the time I was ready to visit the showroom and test drive the car in really wanted...the rest if the process took less than 3 hours. Amazing in my opinion. Will be a Rowe customer for life now!!

My fiance and I were in the market for a new vehicle. Sadly we owed a substantial amount on the two vehicles we were looking to trade due to poor deals that were taken. After explaining our situation Chris went out of his way to negotiate a deal. Finally after a couple of days of trying every avenue he was able to get us in to a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid. My fiance absolutely loves her new car, and I love the fact there wasn't a major run around trying to get it. Chris was upfront and honest the whole time and was even willing to stay late past closing time to ensure we could get the vehicle we wanted. I was NOT looking forward to working with ANY car dealer! My husband purchased a new Kia from Rowe Auburn a few years ago and the service he has been receiving has been outstanding...so we decided to go back and see if I could find something. I KNEW what I wanted and KNEW what I could afford....I didn't need to be 'sold' on anything. We met Cleve shortly after we chose the vehicle we wanted..HE WAS FANTASTIC! He related very well to us and had ALL the information we needed. If you are looking for a 100% stress free 'deal' ask for Cleve! We then had the please of working with Charlie for financing. He walked me thru the warranty MORE than once! I felt a little uncomfortable with the warranty...so he walked me thru it AGAIN! I left Rowe on Saturday with both of their cell phone numbers and ZERO ANXIETY. When we went back to purchase our vehicle on Monday...they gave us a fair trade on our Volvo. Cleve walked me thru ALL the bells and whistles on our Ford Edge Limited. The sales person was Steve Entrott. What a great sales person. Very friendly and helpful. I was looking for a spare used vehicle or a very inexpensive new vehicle, like the Chevy Spark, Nissan Versa, or similar small car. He showed me a Hyundai Veloster, base model. Looked awesome and priced right and gets fantastic gas mileage. I never considered the Veloster, but it turned out to be a great choice and am very happy with it. For a base model, the Veloster offers a lot, like Bluetooth, power windows, nice touch screen, cruise control, CD player, backup camera, and I love the 6 speed standard shift. My wife purchased a Santa Fe sport, also from Steve several months before the Veloster purchase. Very happy with the vehicle choices and the great service.

Decided to stop at Rowe Auburn to look around at the cars they carried. Bill Lovejoy came over and asked us if he could help. Bill asked us some very important questions as to what we were looking for in a car to narrow down our search. Bill was very nice, not pushy in the least and very easy to talk with. We ended by purchasing a 2012 GMC Terrain which was in excellent condition. Bill gave us the CARFAX Report copies which substantiated that the Terrain was pre-owned by a single person and that he took very good care of the vehicle. Bill was very knowledgeable about the Terrain and even took the time to explain the many features it came with so that we would be familiar with them before we left the lot. Purchased a Jeep Patriot from Bruce Weld and Renee Yates. They were knowledgeable, courteous, and made the car buying experience extremely pleasant. Because a rock hit my windshield on my new Kia I had to have a new windshield installed. The work was not done at the dealer. The new windshield has a bad distortion which is very distracting while driving. While the glass company has been very helpful, the Kia dealer (not Rowe) they purchased the glass from has not. So I asked my salesman Brian if I could come look at a new car to see if there was any distortion in the windshield. Not only did he let me look at one in the showroom he also let me test drive another Kia to see if the distortion was there. There was little to no distortion. You can't ask for better service than that!By the way, the Kia is great!!

The price of the vehicle was negotiated before I arrived, so the pain of haggling for a price didn't exist. While I personally felt that Rowe low balled the offer on my trade in, they did meet me half way. If I had to critique the dealer in one way, it's the fact that they are selling vehicles that use 91 Octane fuel (recommended by the manufacturer), and yet the dealership refuses to fill the tank with anything higher than regular. Rowe, I know it's a pain, but if you want to sell these high performance vehicles, you have to either be offering gas vouchers or driving the car to the station yourself to fill it up. There is no excuse for pouring regular gas into these vehicles. My car will more than likely be fine, but being quite OCD, I'm a bit paranoid that every noise coming from the hood is the engine knocking. I can't get through this tank of gas soon enough.Overall, the experience was very pleasant and I would certainly recommend them to others. If you stop by here, ask for Brian Kelsea and he will make the experience painless.

I have had many vehicles and dealt with many top tier dealerships across the U.S., but none can compare with Rowe Auburn. From first telephonic introduction via Nathan Baril, to original dealer meeting with Jake Anderson, I knew that I was in very good company and if a deal could be reached it would be equitable to all parties. The first thing Jake asked me was if I had any concerns about finding a used vehicle. I had several, and explained what they were. Jake heard my concerns and had a most considerate salesman, Martin Read, help me navigate this sometimes difficult process for a woman alone. Martin even made me feel relevant and went out of his way to help me find my perfect car. Well, we spent several months searching for our perfect vehicle, to perfectly fit our budget...many, many nights of research. Many trips to different dealerships on off hours, so we could narrow down our choices. We finally decided to go to Rowe one Saturday and check out a Sorento that definitely had caught our eye! I absolutely dreaded the idea of an intense salesperson. The last thing we wanted was to feel pressured or like our preferences didn't matter. We pulled on to the lot and before my right foot hit the pavement...I looked in the mirror and saw the salesperson coming our way and immediately thought.."oh yeah, here we go already." Well, moments later, Brian Kelsea met us at our car and introduced himself to us. Was I ever mistaken! Because of Brian's awesome personality and demeanor, I quickly forgot about my dreaded moment with a salesperson! That speaks great volume for me! He was so relaxed and personable, but above all, he asked the most important question: "What are YOU looking for in a vehicle?" The only thing that seemed to matter to Brian was what we wanted and needed. His knowledge of KIA was phenomenal!! He impressed us from the moment he said, "Let me show you a few things about this vehicle." He proceeded to open the hatch and from there, he covered every inch of the vehicle, right to underneath the hood...not missing a beat as to what the vehicle had to offer! This man knows his KIA!! Perhaps why he is known as "The Kia Man!"!!! Yes, his business card he handed us said this, so of course, I came home and checked out You Tube and was blown away! He is definitely a professional who knows how to personalize the buying experience!! We took Brian with us for a test drive...and low and behold...he still had more info to offer us in regards to this great vehicle. Next was the big step for us.....the decision on purchasing or not. Brian worked very closely with us and got us the best possible deal and financing and we bought the KIA and have been very pleased! Did I mention that not once did we feel any pressure? Notta! He is great and I would recommend him to any one interested in purchasing a vehicle. Let Brian erase your thoughts of how ALL salespeople are pushy and impersonal!!! This purchase started with a phone call for a quote on Saturday. I went into the dealer on Monday where we agreed on a price and I put a deposit down. The car was not on the lot, but it arrived the next day in perfect condition and I picked it up on Wednesday. Michael took his time and explained all the features of the car. Had a great experience, the moment I stepped in, met with sales manager Jake Anderson he introduced me to salesman Gary Travaglini (Dick Butkis' twin) immediately. We hit it off right away and we test drove an EDGE and ESCAPE, then we discussed different options for payment, financing, rebates etc. No pressure at all, very comfortable conversation, like you would have with a friend! The numbers for the trade in were great and showed me they wanted to sell a vehicle! I chose the Ford Certified 2013 EDGE Limited! Pretty much loaded! We discussed the cost, step by step, no hidden fees and BS, everything was right there to see. I have brought my car in a couple of times for service. One issue was a difficult one to resolve, involving a lot of interaction between the service department and Ford. Ken in service kept me up to date as work progressed, was very solicitous of my need to have alternative transportation and was, overall, very friendly and professional. I could not be happier with the service department, including the shop foreman who volunteered to take a test ride to better understand the problem. Without question my experience means that when I need to replace my car the first dealership I will go to will be Rowe Auburn.

Both Steve and Charlie went above and beyond, were cheerful, kind, and helpful, for not one, but two purchases. An unplanned stop during Saturday errands-prompted by a radio ad- had me in the parking lot where I was greeted by Steve, who did his best to put me in the car of my choice at the price I wanted. Before long, I was test driving the Elantra and was soon completing the paperwork for my new car with Charlie, whose cheerful personality and knowledge made the paperwork signing a breeze, and before I knew it I was driving my new car home.I was, happy with the purchase and the experience but within hours I realized I had really wanted the Limited model. I expected that I would just keep the car I had and chalked it up to experience. The following Monday I went in to drop off some paperwork and was greeted by Steve, who asked how I liked my car, I told him I had wished I had gotten the Limited...within minutes we were in the lot, as he honed into the car I wanted, with the options I wanted, in the color I wanted, for the price I wanted. After speaking to his boss, and striking a new deal, taking back my purchase, with no problems, I was again sitting in Charlie's office, signing papers, and closing yet another deal. I was buying the car that I REALLY wanted, and got a deal that made it work for me, and Steve and Charlie were great, having to do a "do over", they never once made me feel that it was an inconvenience. Superior customer service and I would highly recommend Rowe, not only for their inventory, but for the folks that make it happen. Thanks Guys!

This is not the kind of review I'd hoped to be writing when I bought my car here 5 months ago. Although I do feel that the Sales Department at Rowe Auburn is absolutely second to none, it is the way you are treated after the sale that decides whether you will continue to be a customer. After I share with you the experience I've had with their service department, you will understand why I will not go back to them again. My car went in for a routine 55K mile service; tire rotation, oil change, etc. Being that it was the Saturday before my daughter's high school graduation and my day was booked solid, my adult son drove the 230 miles (round trip) to the dealership for the appointment that morning. On his way home afterward it became obvious that we had a big problem; lots of smoke, lots of smell; he pulled over and found that the oil cap had not been replaced after the oil change. What a mess. Oil everywhere from the hood to the rear fender. The dealership was notified, and they had it towed back. Once back at the shop, it was sprayed with water, had an old ill-fitting cap put on, the exterior was hosed down, and my son was sent on his way with a coupon for a free oil change and a refund of my $40 for the 55K mile service that day.I took one look at my car when my son got back with it and could not believe that the dealership would send it back to me in that condition. Rather than send my son home in a loaner so that they could properly address the issue (they claimed they didn't have one. Really? No used cars on the lot that would have sufficed?). Anyway, my husband suggested we wait till Monday when the service manager would be in and we could talk about how to fix this problem. On Monday I did speak with the service manager. He was apologetic and sounded sincere; he said he understood that I was upset and had been informed of what had happened on Saturday.We agreed that he would send a driver to come get my car and leave me a loaner in exchange. He told me that my car would be thoroughly cleaned and that a new insulation pad (cloth/foam hood liner) would be installed to replace the one that was now saturated with oil. I was confident after our conversation that he would take care of everything. The next day he called to say that my car was done and that it had been completely cleaned. He told me that the insulation pad had been cleaned and that there had been no need to replace it. I was skeptical. When their driver arrived with my car, the first thing I did was ask him to pop the hood. Before he even had a chance to do that, I noticed oil was still leaking out from the side edge of the hood. And sure enough, it was still a mess underneath; the insulation pad had been scrubbed to the point of it looking like a rag, one of the clips holding it in place was gone, and as I pointed out to the driver, it was still saturated with oil. I asked him to get the service manager on the phone, which he did, and I relayed to him what I was seeing. The service manager apologized again and said that he 'had been told by recon that everything was good'. (I have photographs that say otherwise).At this point, putting yet another 230 miles on the car to send it back once again to people I no longer trusted was pointless. Instead I asked that he have a new pad sent to my regular mechanic. He agreed to do so and took my email address so that he could make sure 'all was progressing'. A few days later I communicated to him that my mechanic had installed the new pad and that the smell had dissipated. (I found out the smell comes back as soon as you turn on the heat or the A/C). He replied that he appreciated my patience. That was the end of that.Now, my car still smells because the engine compartment was not cleaned as it should have been, and I have no choice but to write this negative review.I want to be clear about what it is I am upset about and what my expectations were;I understand that we all make mistakes. I'm not upset with the tech who failed to put the oil cap on. These things do happen and I'm certain that it was not intentional. It's the 'after' that I am astounded by. I am upset that the service manager did not personally see to it that my car was returned to me in the same condition as when I entrusted it his shop. I am upset that he did not keep his word and do what he said he would do. I am upset that he has not offered to reimburse me for the pad installation or to pay for the proper cleaning of my car after his shop's accident and negligence thereafter. I'm upset that every time I start my car, it stinks!I have not ruled out legal remedies, however I have ruled out the possibility of repeat business to Rowe.

From the time we walked in the door we were made to feel comfortable. William Lovejoy came over greeted us and asked what he could help us with. We were ready.... two females looking to buy a car...... we were ready for the hard sell and the push towards something we didn't want or could not afford. To our surprise that was NOT what we got ! I drove 2 hours to test drive and hopefully purchase a newer vehicle. The sales person was nice enough, but I felt very pushed and rushed. When promised "loyalty program rewards" nobody seemed to have a clue. Car ended up being more than what they quoted. 2 weeks after buying the car I found out it had a very strong cigarette smoke residue. I should have gone with the dealer across the street from them that had the same vehicle, but less expensive. I fell for the "certified pre-owned" line! Trust your own instincts.

I wanted to take this time to compliment Rowe for providing me with a great, reliable Kia Sorento EX, SUV. The buying experience is more like family, when sitting down with Cleve and Scott. They listened to my needs and directed me to the vehicle that would handle my work requirements. They explained in detail, the warranty coverage for my driving style and indicated that dollar for dollar, this would meet my highway needs. They are right. Amazing SUV. Individually or family vehicle, this is the way to go.I now have 53K plus miles on my 2013 Kia Sorento and love this vehicle. New England winters are harsh and not very friendly to the average driver. After putting a much more aggressive tire on this vehicle, it is like a tank in the snow and ice. I can go virtually anywhere. It is everything both Cleve and Scott said it would be. Mileage is in the 25/31 mpg, depending on time of year and driving style. If you are looking for a safe, excellent ride for you or family, I recommend the Kia Sorento and Rowe as your selling and servicing dealer.One more thing, the service department is the best. Getting you in and out with knowledgeable techs and service managers, explaining what just took place on your vehicle. These guys and gals are an excellent support group to keep your investment running and at an affordable price to you and your budget. If you are in the market, stop by and see these people and ask for a walk around of the facility and departments. Wally Camp does it right and surrounds himself with the greatest people, to make your buying experience at Rowe, one you will come back to, over and over. We can't say enough about the friendly service and hard work this dealership and its employees gave to us. We spent several days trying to decide whether to buy a gas model or a TDI model and they were very patient with us and answered our million questions over those days. With Scott's help they got us not into the truck I thought I wanted but the truck I really needed. I already love my F150 super-crew. On the financing side Charlie was a great help in making the process as simple as possible. He also committed to follow through to make sure we addressed all my questions. My husband and I came in on a Tuesday looking for a desal VW. My husband spoke with Michael as I tryied to keep our three toddlers at bay. Soon after we were trying out a VW TDI. My husband instantly fell in love with it. We did some shopping around and found this was the best deal any where in the state. So we came back two days later to talk to Michael about purchasing the car. He had the day off and dropped everything and rushed in to meet us. In the mean Scott got the paper work started. Michael was in his office in ten minutes flat..with a big smile on his face. We had paperwork filled out and he went over all the extra bells and whisels...We had to wait mabey a hour to get the car serviced and the protective coating on but it was well worth the wait. Great experience, loved the service and hope to do business again in the future. We give 5's all around great job everyone.

Visited the dealership just to look at the Sonata. Was greeted by a very friendly, not pushy saleman. Brian Kelsea showed me the Sonata as well as some other options that might fit my budget. I was anxious to get rid of my Tahoe because of the fuel I was constantly putting into it and all of the driving I do, but was unsure about being able to afford a newer vehicle. Brian made everything so easy and also steered me in the right direction with the Sonata. I can not believe how good this car is on gas! I drove from Bangor Maine to go to this dealership. I am so glad I did. Charlie and Gary were great they worked very hard to make this sale happen. They did not treat me like a simple customer. They treated me like a family member. The banks gave them a hard time at first. Due to the banks it took a lot of time from their busy days, but they did not give up. Because Charlie and Gary did not give up, I walked away with a brand new Kia and I couldn't be happier with it. Also I have two more people I can call my friends. Initially it appeared I was looking at a truck out of my price range. I was more then overly impressed with the service given by Adam, he was knowledgeable, easy to understand, and did not hide anything from us. I'm not big on salesmen because I feel they only tell you what you want to hear and not the truth, we did not get that from Adam he was honest even if it was not what we wanted to hear. Scott Rodriguez and Scott S were also helpful and worked for us to get a reasonable trade. This experience has changed my view on dealerships and salesmen! My husband and I went shopping for a new car with no idea of what we actually wanted. When we arrived at Rowe we met by Adam Loudermilk who's first question was if we needed help. Within a few minutes both my husband and myself were completely relaxed and ready to put Adam to the test. Adam was very knowledgable and answered all of our questions with prompt direct answers. He spent several hours with us and never once tried to pressure us into trying any vehicle that didn't meet our minimum requests. After spending 4 hours of test driving vehicles we were ready to set Adam free and it was on to financing where Adam introduced us to the ever friendly Charlie Burns. Charlie was more than helpful and answered all of our questions regarding financing and warranty questions. Both gentlemen were extremely pleasant through the whole process and I would highly recommend dealing with both of them if anyone is ever shopping for a new car. My boyfriend who was with me deals in selling John Deere tractors and can often be weary of car salesmen, but he shook Jamie's hand and said he was excellent!! I had to come back on a Wednesday to test drive the Jetta I was interested in and Jamie was very accommodating and came in on his day off to work with me. He worked to get the price to where I was comfortable and stayed in contact with me throughout my entire process of working with the Rowe dealership. He answered any and all questions I had, as well as made himself available to do so at any given moment. I would highly recommend him as a car salesman to people I know, whom are in the market for quality service while car shopping.

I should have gone to Rowe earlier on in my car search!!! I live in the Augusta area and I had been looking for a car for a few days. I was getting pressured by other dealers in the Augusta area and they weren't giving me a car that I was wanted at the price I could afford. I spent 11 hours one day just trying to get information straight that was given to me by these sales people in Augusta. I work in Auburn and someone suggested that I go to Rowe. I showed up at 3:00 and was greeted by Tyler Green. He didn't pressure me at all. He asked what I was looking for and sat me down with a manager to see if I could afford that type of car. I couldn't, but that was ok. After looking at a few others of MY choosing, I found the Kia Sorento. The price was right and it had the space I needed for my family and dogs. After a fun test drive, a few laughs and an explanation of how they got to the price on my trade in and where the price of the new car was going to be, I took a few minutes to think about my decision. I felt that the Rowe crew was very upfront and did all they could do to get my payments close to where I wanted to be. I decided pretty quickly that this car was affordable and that I was getting a good deal. Within 3 1/2 hours of showing up at Rowe, looking at 4 types of cars, I drove away in my 2013 Kia Sorento!!!! Tyler Green, Jason Standley and Scott Stubinski were great at helping me into what I needed for a car and what I could afford!!! They didn't put pressure on me once and that made all the difference. Thank you for your help guys!!! I am extremely happy with how things turned out!!!

My husband & I visited Rowe Auburn with intentions to purchase a Jetta Sportwagen. After thoroughly looking several over, we discovered that with 3 children, it just wasn't spacious enough. After speaking with Ben in Sales (whom by the way was super nice & not pushy at all), we told him what we were looking for. A manual transmission & spacious back seat were our two big requests. The manual tranny left us with few options. But, after he spoke with Scott in management, he came back to tell us there was a beautiful 2012 Passat- with a huge back seat- just marked down with...wait for it...a manual transmission! My husband & I adored the car. We took it for a spin and my husband was sold. We crunched some numbers with Scott then finalized them all with Charlie with no hassles or pressure. After a bad experience purchasing a new VW 11 years ago, (they know what I mean)- we were adamant about driving the car home that night rather than coming back the next day to pick it up. It may not have been their normal routine, as they would have liked to vacuum & wash the car first and such-but it was the way we wanted to do it. As requested, however, we did return the next day to have it done! Thank you. We thoroughly appreciated their patience as everyone we were working with stayed late to finish up the sale. My son was buying his first car and after dealing with a pressurized situation from another dealership, Tyler, Jason, Brian, and eventually Charlie made the whole experience worth it. They were willing to let him test drive a few cars, offered a reasonable and fair price, helped with financing suggestions, and were so patient as we were waiting for everything we needed to finalize the purchase. I hated the whole car buying process before because it always felt like I had to be on my guard and be ready to determine what dishonest practce or trick the salesperson was ultimately going to try to get me to fall for. Why did I give the rating I gave? After leaving another dealership due to the rudeness of their finance manager and lack of communucation, I told Jamie exactly what I wanted and he made it happen. I bought a new Milan during the Cash for Clunkers program. I was GM customer previous to the Obama bailout,so my reasons were mostly political for switching to Ford products. Since that purchase I've been very satisfied with my Milan and having your maitenance department open on Saturdays and evenings has been a help to me due to my work schedule. When it came time to trade my wife's car in we new we were going to buy from Auburn Motor Sales because of our satisfaction with our past experiences with the dealer. Gary was very helpful and not pushy at all was willing to go out of his way to show me the cars I was interested in viewing. I had intentions of trying 2 Hyundai models and the Focus. Once my wife saw the Focus and drove it there was no need to try the Hyundai. We haven't had any issues with the Focus yet and will be taking it on its first trip this week. The several times I had been to Rowe since I purchased my vehicle from Dave Hart on November 20, 2008 up to the last scheduled visit for my oil change in May 2012,I found their staff to be very caring, friendly and professional. Excuse me for listing the names of the folks in the service department, all I can say they were very friendly to deal with. It appears this dealership has a strong customer satisfaction rate. Not only do they just focus on makeing the sales but there is an after sales communication with customers as far as feedback from them to see, if they were satissied with their service and was the staff very friendly to them, most important how rapid was the service on the vehicle. Personally, I find Rowe deserves a AAA+ on all their business traits. I am very impressed with my 2009 Hyundai Sonata. It is a very dependable vehicle. Just like my first Hyundai vehicle 1988XL from Pacifico Ford in Philadelphia, Pa I always find them the best bang for my buck.

CharlieBurns the business manager made me feel like an old friend, he was exceptional!!!By purchasing my focus at Rowe I was able to get a beautiful silver HB. There was a small defective paint spot that I discovered after my purchase and when I brought my car back to be examined they immediately dealt with the issue. I was given a free loaner and the small area was repaired at no charge to me. They never made me feel like a bother. I was treated with respect and compassion. We were trying to decide whether to put the money into our vehicle so that it would pass inspection or try to sell it. Bob helped us tremendously by having knowledge of the vehicle to determine the current value, determining the work it needed, and explaining to us in terms we could understand so that we could make an informed decision. We easily decided that day to have our vehicle fixed at Rowe Ford and are very happy with the results. It drives like its brand new!

Jim was extremely knowledgeable about the car. He made the purchasing experience a pleasure. His customer service before and after the purchase is exceptional. He never made me feel like just a sale but bent over backwards to comply with all our wishes. I am so glad to be back at Rowe where the customer always comes first and they stand behind their cars. We started searching for a replacement vehicle at another dealer and thought we had found what would work for us i.e. make, model, price, etc. but after taking the vehicle for another test ride, we decided that vehicle was not what we wanted. We test drove some other vehicles only to find we didn't like those either! Out of humor, we looked at the Kia Soul--at first site, the car is kind of odd looking, but once we opened the doors and sat in the vehicle, we were quite surprised with the room and the comfort of the car. THEN we drove the Kia Soul....what a nice ride! Quiet, spacious and quite comfortable (my husband is 6 feet tall and quite broad). We tried working with the salesman but the dealership could not align the price with what we were looking for--so we walked.This past week, we contacted Adrian at Rowe Kia and explained to him what we were looking for with the Kia Soul and asked what the dealership was asking 'out the door' for the Kia. Within an hour he contacted us with information that warranted us driving to the dealership after work. Long story short, that night we left the dealership with the new Kia Soul!Everyone we dealt with was great at the dealership! Adrian was very informative and all the other employees who have their part in the sale, were very friendly and quite hospitable. Thank you Adrian for the time you spent with us and ensuring we were aware of the proper operations of all the internal features of the Soul!

I brought my problem to Hyundai Rowe Auburn, they did not bring it to me. In early January I purchased a used Hundai that came from out of state via a private party. Long story short, I had a series of error codes with the onboard engine control module (OBD II). I was unable to return the car to the person I purchased it from, that's the way ME law works on private sales. After I did a series if troublshooting myself and even contacting Hundai Motor America directly with my VIN I was unable to figure out what was causing the problem so I brought the car to Rowe Auburn. Bob patiently listed to my tale of woe as well as all the work I had done prior to bringing the car to Rowe Auburn. We agreed to put it in the garage and troubleshoot it with one of their technicians.The technican Eric met with me after he spent the better part of an hour on the car with yet a second technican. Eric told me he reviewed my notes (all three pages of them) then he and Bob were able to explain exactly what was causing my problem. It turned out that in that particular model year, 2003, three states (CA, MA and VT) had a different emission requirement and a different engine were put in these cars (probably 1% of the model manufactured that year). Apparently there had been a problem with the engine such as a failed timing belt, so some mechanic somewhere had installed a used replacement head on the engine and put the wrong one on this car. So the engine ran fine, but timing was slightly off generating the error codes. This mechanic proceeded to disable the warning lights on the dash by removing the bulbs. (I'd like to find this guy and give him a piece of my mind.)At that point my best option was to put the correct head on the engine, we agreed to get one from a junk yard and proceed ahead with Rowe Auburn doing the work. After the correct replacement head was installed, Eric was testing compression and found the new (used) head had a crack. Certainly this was not my fault nor was it Rowe Auburn's. Bob credited me with all the time the dealership spent making this repair and we discussed the next step.Bob tried to locate another replacement head, but none were available. He did manage to find an entire low mileage used engine. We discussed my options and moved ahead with the engine replacement. Bob worked very closely with me during this process and in the end the cost of the entire engine replacement was not a lot more than if I had only had the head changed. The cost came in below the agreed upon amount I had set up with Bob by a couple hundred dollars....and now I have a low mileage engine in the car that works just as it should.I cannot say enough positive things about the experience I had with Bob and Eric at the dealership. I fully appreciated them listenting to me and I was never rushed by either of them. Next time, prior to purchasing a used car, I would bring it to them to look over should I go the private party route or simply purchase from them. I could have saved myself a lot of money and headache. Thanks for a great job.

I am VERY happy with the car and am glad that I had Brian to teach me how to use all of the new goodies it comes with. My husband and I wanted to trade in his Toyota Tundra for a vehicle that has better gas mileage. We traded for a 2012 Kia Sorento and love it! We loved it so much 5 days later we traded in our Jeep for a Kia Optima. Dale was great to work with and has a fun personality. He made our buying experience that much more enjoyable and was very thorough showing us the vehicles. With our first purchase we worked with Charlie Burns to sign all of the paperwork. Car was serviced in a fast and timly manner. Rob called as soon as he had answers or information for me about my car. I was able to test my car with the head mechanic and talk to he about my cars issues. Price is always an issue just because times are tight and so dishing out hundreds of dollars sucks no matter what. I am happy with the work and willing to pay for a job done right. So far Ford has always treated my right and made good on anything that was not.

We visited Rowe Auburn looking for a new Kia, and they unfortunately did not have any on our first visit. Brian and Jason were amazing, however, by remembering us as soon as they got some Kia Souls in and giving us a call. The service was fantastic, and Charlie Burns worked hard to get us a great deal. I accidentally left my garage door opener in my trade-in vehicle, and Jason and Brian worked hard to get it back to me. GREAT people, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know, and will buy a car from them again in the future!

My husband and I were not sure if we wanted to lease or buy and showed up at Rowe 15 minutes before they closed. We went straight to Dale because I had talked to him early last year. We were all over the place with which vehicle to go with so Dale took the extra time with us; while everyone went home, to show us options on the lot. We went home still pondering ideas and knowing that Dale was going to be patient with us we went back the next day. We pinned it down to one car and started the process money wise, Dale made it really easy to talk with him. I was impressed with the waiting area, great seating, play area for the children, tv to watch, computers to use as well as Ipads. There was even free coffee and snacks and of course your normal vending machines. Everyone was so nice and would stop and chat with you while waiting. We ran into some issues with my credit lock but not once did I feel pressured. This took a few days and lots of communication with Dale. In the end I had my new car delivered to me! I could not have had a better experience with purchasing a vehicle, this was not my first time and I was truly impressed. Thank you so much Rowe Auburn! Dale and Scott you two were wonderful and we will be back for future purchases, we will also be sending people your way for I know they will get the same experience!

I was so happy that Brian was able to pretty much everything over the phone as well as online since I had about a 4 hour drive to get to the dealership. Living where I am there is only 1 in town and I was so relieved that all I had to do was sign and drive home. I went to Rowe back in November and fell in love with the Lincoln MKX. I spoke with Tom Mooney and fell in love with him too. He spent tons of time with me and was patient, understanding and very knowledgable. I just couldn't pull the trigger. Over the past two months Tom stayed in contact and worked diligently to get the price where I needed it to be and in my "trigger pulling" zone. He was never pushy or overbearing, just helpful and informative. He called on the same day I was thinking about going in to see "my car" again. My husband and I went in for another look and Tom was right there showing me my dream car again. I told him again where I needed to be financially and if he could get me there, I'd buy it. The next morning Charlie Burns called me and worked hard at putting the deal together. He did it :) We went in to sign and again patience was tested with Rowe. I took FOREVER to sign everything and had hundreds of questions about the warranties. He made me feel as though he was truly helping me, not selling me. Charlie was great, funny, empathetic and did I mention patient lol? So I finally got my car and I'm so happy :) Tom has already text me to make sure I'm happy. The whole vibe of Rowe was great. There was a salesman named Gary T who was always smiling, funny and playful. He never attempted to take over for Tom, but was just as sweet. I thank you Rowe and you should be honored to have Tom and Charlie working for you. They made this deal happen...2 months later :)

One of the best experiences I've had purchasing a car, new or used, and I've purchased quite a few. Very easy to work with everyone at the dealership, no pressure to buy a particular vehicle or model, and the car pricing was quite transparent and fair. Our salesman, Paul, was especially courteous and helpful throughout the entire process, including helping to set up the car's bluetooth. I pulled into Rowe Auburn after spending 4+ hours being pressured by another dealership, not even sure that I wanted to continue my search that evening. It was 10 minutes to close and I saw a salesman walking back into the KIA building. I yelled to him to get his attention, hoping to ask him a quick question and be on my way. "Do you have any used Kia Sportages?" I asked. Though I'm sure he wanted nothing more than to pack up and go home, Paul never let me know it. He was friendly and curteous as he apologized for not having any on the lot. He tried to bring my attention to the new Sportages and I quickly dismissed him, sure that they were not in my price range. He understood and asked me a few questions about what I was looking for. Paul then tried again to bring me back to the new Sportages, explaining this time that depending on a few circumstances, I could be spending about the same amount of money on a NEW Sportage as I would be on a used car. He had one base model on the lot and suggested I try it out while he and his boss ran some numbers. I test drove it, trying to keep it quick for his sake, and LOVED it. He gave me a few different options (buying vs. leasing etc.) and though I liked the numbers he gave me, I still needed a night to "sleep on it." Unlike the dealership I had just wasted 4+ hours at, Paul was more than understanding of this fact, and said "Well this is what I have to offer, I hope you like the car enough to come back and see me again." The next morning I called him and made arrangements to come in and lease my Sportage. He spent the majority of his afternoon with me, making sure I knew everything there was to know about my new car. He's exceptionally personable, and unlike that stereotypical "car salesman" you tend to think of, Paul really gives off an air of genuine honesty. I had been shopping for weeks and speaking with scads of salesmen. It was truly a breath of fresh air to meet Paul. Within a week, my aunt had also bought a Sportage from Paul. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!

All features of the Forte were explained in detail and Brian even set up the blue tooth to match my cell phone before we left. My price choice probably would have been described as a little below great to very good but that was not an option. I arrived knowing some of my options from searching the internet before I shopped. I saw we could take advantage of 2 rebates. All in all I had a very good experience at Rowe.

I had a great experience with this dealership. I feel like I got a great deal on a great car (2011 Kia Soul). They did everything they could to get me great financing and really worked with me to find the perfect car within my budget. I also got a great value on my trade, which I wasn't expecting, since it was only one year old and had depreciated well past what I owed. They actually paid off my vehicle for me (2010 Kia Rio5). I bought my Rio at another dealership and got completely ripped off (I am a young female and was shopping on my own) and was not happy with my car or service. But I did have a great experience at Rowe, they come highly recommended from me and my family. Nearly everyone in my family has bought their car at Rowe! I am really happy with my purchase.

This was my first time buying from Rowe Auburn and the whole experience was great!! Brian Kelsea was an extremely knowledgeable salesman and very personable. He treated us like we were the only people there when in fact he had another set of customers he was working with at the same time. Charlie Burns went above and beyond to get us the best possible deal with the banks. He was also very knowledgable about the warranties available to us, and made sure we understood everything we were getting. This was my second purchase from Rowe, and both times I would have to say was a great experience. I purchased a Mitsubishi just before they closed their Mitsubishi branch, with that branch closing I was left to find warranty related service else where. Because of the hassle to get that car serviced I decided it was time to trade it in. At first, I shopped around at other dealers because I have to admit I was still a little bitter about the whole branch closing issue. However, after a less than stellar experience with another dealership, I decided to give Rowe another try. I can not say enough great things about my salesman Brian or Charlie Burns. Rowe had the car I wanted for the price I wanted to pay. An excellent experience from start to finish. I would recommend Rowe to anyone and everyone!

I took my 2001 Hyundai Elantra gls here for a recall repair and was not informed that i needed to have full coverage insurance to get a loaner car until after my car was checked in. I ended up paying $70.00 for a rental car from Enterprise. I was told that my repairs would be done in 2 days and did not get my car back until the 5th day. When I got my car back i noticed that there was damage on the passenger side of my car. The front bumper had a crease, my passenger side rear view mirror had been moved and I had to readjust it. When I looked at it further I noticed that the paint had been scraped off and that touch up paint had been smeared on the rear view mirror. I also noticed that the door below the mirror was all scraped up and the passenger side rear door was all rippled with more touch up paint smeared on. Above the rear wheel well is still caved in and touch up paint smeared on it. When I mentioned my findings to one of the supervisors in the service department he denied anything happening to my car. I am now dealing with Rowes insurance company and have been for the last month. This is the worst experience that I have ever had dealing with a car dealership and would highly NOT recommend Rowe Ford (Auburn motor sales) to anyone unless you plan on dealing with more headache that its worth.

We had a wonderful experience, everyone was so nice and helpful. We had shopped around and visited other dealerships, and none gave us the feeling of being among friends like Rowe did. We will certainly be buying our next car there. There was no pressure, and they really took the time to listen to us, and help us find exactly what we were looking for. We did shop around, and always ended up back at Rowe, because we knew they were not only giving us the best price, but that we were going to be taken care of in the future. Gary was reccomended by a family member who had worked with him in the past. My wife and I went in looking for a very specific vehicle and Gary came through. He was not your typical "sales" person; he was very professional. I initially drove in to Rowe Auburn, to look at a replacement vehicle for my current van. Maybe something more stylish and smaller then the 7 passager van that I currently owned. From Paul's first approach, to last signature on my papers, it was the best experience I could have imagined. I ended up buying a 2011 Kia Optima and absolutely love it! Paul really took the time to get a feel and understanding of what I was truly looking for. He guided me through the whole process; along with Chenoa my financial advisor with the paper work. It could have been very nerve racking to find that right fit for my family, however it wasn't with this dealership or with my sales person. I would highly recommend Rowe Auburn to anyone for vehicle decisions in the future.

Once we decided on a 2011 Optima, we contacted the dealership in our city but quickly became convinced they weren't that into selling cars. Rowe Kia of Auburn, on the other hand, won us over. They didn't pressure us; they drew us in with a great deal. Then, they followed up on that with outstanding customer service. They were not high pressure, pushy, or rude, but they were compelling (in a good way) and wanted our business. I felt they were honesty, polite, and clear communicators. It was definitely worth driving an hour and half from home to buy this car, and I will not hesitate to recommend this dealership to family and friends. Thanks, guys!

We went to the dealership to look at new Ford F150s. When browsed the showroom and we could see that all the sales people were busy with customers. We asked for assistance, and they got Marc for us immediately. They also apologized for the wait, which was very considerate. Marc asked about and listened to what we were there for. He had our agenda, not his! He was very considerate and helpful explaining the vehicles and savings incentives. There was another man who helped with financing who I cannot remember his name. He was very helpful with discussing financing. They were both great, and there was NO PRESSURE, even when the monthly payment for the vechicle we were looking at was out of our price range. We were taken aback, but they never missed a beat and discussed the used inventory for a very similar vehicle! Marc and the financial man worked VERY HARD to get the monthly payment in our price range, with no pressure! I was very impressed that the final monthly payment included all the extras like tax, and such. WOW! THANK YOU!!!Chenoa Sullivan worked hard a well to get us a VERY NICE interest rate at 72 months! Thank you Chenoa!Both Marc and Chenoa stayed late to finish the paperwork, which was very, very nice of them!I have been passing the good word about Rowe Ford! My parents-in-law have been in to purchase a truck. My friend from work will be in too!The only recommendation I have is to approach the customer when they come into the dealership, and say something like, "Sorry for the wait, we will be right with you." In that manner the customer is acknowledged, and doesn't feel like he/she is being ignored.

From Start to finish my experience with this dealership was a pleasant one. I started with the on line process and the pre approval for a loan as well as looking into make and models of cars that Rowe had to offer. Dean Swindler answered my emails in a timely Fashion asking questions that would make my purchase easier when I was ready and giving helpful suggestions of cars to look into. When ready I went into the Kia dealer where Imet Dave Sardella who was very customer orientated and helped by allowing me to test drive two vehicles that I was interested in and this helped me make my decision on the one I liked best which turned out to be the 2011 Kia Optima. Dave helped in expiditing the paperwork process and connected me with Charlie Burns who was fantastic at explaining the warranties and what was to be expected out of my purchase. I would recomend Rowe Kia in Auburn to anyone as they are prompt and efficience and care about customer satisfaction.

I stopped by Rowe the whole sale side after looking at a truck on Sunday. I talked with Bruce about my 2 wheel drive Ford Explorer that didn't drive to well in snow. He asked me if there was any thing i want to try. I said yes the Dodge Ram that was on the lot. I took it for a test drive and when i returned i told him i really like it an he drew up some numbers after he got a value on my Explorer. He took my paperwork next door to see if i could get financed. Before he left he asked me if i wanted to wait there or go next door in the main building to wait or if there was something else i want to do. I gave him my cell# and went to get a few thing at the store. A little over an hour later Bruce called me back saying do you want to come back and get your new truck. I went back across the street and meet Chenoa who had all my paper work ready for me to sign. I had truck shopped during the summer and sat all day at the car dealer to go home with the same car I had driven there. I just could beleive how efficient your staff was and how enjoyable it was working with both Bruce and Chenoa. I would recomend Rowe to my friends if they were looking to find a car or truck.

I went in there with a limit of what I wanted to spend and needed something that day as my vehichle had broken down, they showed me what they had available and I had my new car by that night. I did not feel pressured at all to make a decision, which was nice. When I walked into Rowe, I was very nervous. Immediately when I walked in I was greated with a smile and asked what I wanted and what I was looking for in a vehicle. They never tried to push on me anything that I didn't want. This was my very first time purchasing a new vehicle and let's be honest, everyone hears horror stories about car salesmen, and this was exactly the opposite. From the salesman to the finance people to the business manager, everyone really made my experience great. Taking the time to go over warranty info and features of my car and even introducing the service department, they really take their time with their customers. They aren't all about the sale and moving on to the next, they really care and put forth a lot of effort to give you what YOU want and make the car buying experience a great one.

My husband and i were looking to buy an economical car.We test drove several cars and Jamie Reynolds was very informative,polite friendly and not at all pushy for us to make up our mind.I went home and did my research and found that all that Jamie told us was true about the different vehicles that we were interested in. After my fiance bought her car, I then talked to marc about my car situation. Of all the dealers we contacted by email, Rowe Ford(Tom Mooney) was the only one to respond.Tom was very nice. We never felt pressured into buying. We would go back again in a minute. In fact we are going back in January,when the new Explorers come out to buy a second vehicle from Rowe Ford.

I Was in the market for a car used was really the only option I had being as young as i am and only working a part time job. I was just looking at dealers and what they had to offer. No plans to Buy a car at all My uncle and I stopped at Rowe we had talked about the great deals they had to offer and how him and his wife had wonderful and affordable cars. Good financing terms available, but we opted to pay cash to save even more money. I live in Bath, and don't have a lot of free time so I made a call inquiring about a lease. We spoke several times and he was very pleasant to speak with, and didn't make me feel intimidated. This is the second car that I've bought at this dealership this past year alone; this is probably the only dealership that I'll be going to for the rest of my car shopping life. The service is exceptional. Both Jake and Bruce are very honest about potential issues with the cars I've looked at and very forthcoming in suggesting alternative buys. I have experienced multiple issues with low tire pressure and the brakes on my 2004 Ford Freestar. James Richardson set up an appointment for me to have everything checked out. When we arrived at the dealership, I reviewed the problems that I was having with James. The service advisor to his right overheard my concerns and stated that another customer had experienced the same problems. They had the service foreman, Leo Hamann, come out of the shop and review the problems with him. They took my Freestar in the shop and replaced the tire pressure sensors and performed a complete brake inspection for me. They found that one of the brake calipers was sticking and fixed the problem. Thy then explained everything to me in detail. Why I gave this rating is because, I found each of them extremely helpful, knowledgeable and courteous.

Rowe gets a big thumbs down from me. The transmission went after only two years of owning it and they did not honor their lifetime warranty which was a big sales pitch. They basically told me "You should have read the fine print." This company in my opinion is dishonest and does not care about their customers. They wouldn't even tow the car back to me for my troubles. Next time, I will find a local "Mom and Pop" used car dealership in my home town for my purchase.

I have spent a lot of money with them over the years. Granted, my Taurus seems to have a lot more problems than I think it should. But I've also taken it to other service stations and gotten better work at a better price. My most recent visit, which has prompted me to never go there again came after I found that there was obviously something wrong with one of my front brakes. The wheel was hot and smoking. This is only 9 months after I had it into Rowe when they service my two front brakes, replacing rotors and bearings. I was told that the caliper was frozen and needed replacing, that the one on the other side was going soon, and that the back ones would probably follow soon thereafter. I was quoted $250 to just replace the one caliper that siezed. My husband stepped in and said that maybe the tech could have caught this problem 9 months ago and could they make good on this price wise. Darin, the manager said "no." So my husband told them that they had lost a customer, and that we have lost faith in their company.I called Stratham Tire, who put in rear brakes THREE years ago (and I've had no trouble with them). He was concerned that with the caliper going that the pad and rotors may also have been damaged. So he said worst case would be replacing calipers (for which he quoted a part price over $20 less than Rowe), pads and rotors on both front wheels, which would cost $420. And he took the car in on the spot (late Friday), originally said that they wouldn't get to it until Mon., but Sat. I got a call saying that they had already examined it. It DID NOT need a new caliper at all. He said it was just the brake hose that had collapsed and that I should probably replace both front ones. Those are of course much less than calipers. He also was honest and said that the pads and rotors actually had escaped damage. On top of that, I suddenly remembered that I was due for a 75k mile check up, so they're going to research what is usually done for that and do it as well!

I took my Expedition in to have the wheel bearings and brakes fixed. They fixed the wheel bearings (that lasted about two months) and didn't bother to check the brakes. My check engine light was on and they said it was because I needed a new gas cap. Ha! I didn't buy that one. They reset the engine light (for a mere $75) and off I went. A week later, I was stranded in Portland with a busted brake line! It cost me $100 to have it towed. Went to another mechanic (should have gone there to begin with but the Ford promise of greatness drew me in). He told me that my brake line was indeed busted and I was leaking brake fluid everywhere. He said I didn't need a gas cap. I needed a new sensor in the transmission. Also, my wheel bearings weren't touched. When I contacted the Service Manager, I was told it was my problem and that they did the job they were supposed to do...$1800 later...I got bupkiss!!!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT ALL WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!

I took my car (2003 Jetta) to Rowe Auburn in 2004. The main purpose was to get a state inspection sticker and an alignment. I accidentally locked my glove box, which had my registration in it, which meant the sticker couldn't be issued. This would normally not be a huge problem, but I worked about an hour away from the stealership, so it was difficult to get there to fix the problem. I made arrangements to leave work early and was assured that an inspection tech would be there until a certain time. Also while I was on the phone with them, they tried to sell me a filter replacement package for about $150. However, the filters they were replacing were only worth about $40, and didn't take much time to replace! I passed on the service upsell because I had recently changed all the filters myself, and I really didn't want anyone else touching my engine compartment.Anyway, I got to the stealership, and found that even though I got there about 30 minutes before the tech was supposed to leave, he was already gone. I was not happy and I made sure that the service staff know about my unhappiness. Of course I was met with blank, "we don't care" stares. I paid for my alignment and left the building. When I got into my car, I started it up. When I let my foot off the clutch, suddenly the car lurched forward and came about 2 inches from hitting a VW Beetle that was parked in front of it. The reason for this? The moron that parked it threw it in first gear. I *always* put the car in Neutral and put the emergency brake on when I park it. Apparently the techs there don't do the same thing. Probably my fault for not checking first, but I assumed they would maybe park it the same way they found it. I guess that's too much to ask though, silly me. I was so angry at this point, I didn't know what to do. It would have been lovely if I actually did hit the Beetle. That would have made the day just great. As it is, this happened almost 3 years ago now and I still want to hurt people just thinking about it. But, the bottom line is - don't go to Rowe Auburn. It's a bad service department, and they couldn't care less about the customer. I do most of my own repairs, but for the odd time I have needed VW work done, go to Cy's foreign auto in Lewiston. They'll do it right.

The service department is slow. Everytime something is "fixed" it really isn't. Or something else breaks right after the fix. The prices are high and I'm convinced that they find problems that don't exist. This was vefired when I took my vehicle to another mechanic after getting an estimate from Rowe. He told me that the "problems" they found did for the most part not exist. There estimate of around 700 dollars was fixed by my neighborhood mechanic for under $100.
