I recently bought a used vehicle from this dealership. i was really happy,the actual buying process was quick and easy. And then I drove off the lot. The very next day the check engine light came on, so I took it back to their service department to see if they could see what the issue was. And to my dismay I was turned away because it wasn't a manufacturer they sold. Not once, not twice. I was turned away three times until finally a service manager was willing to figure out what the issue was. So a week went by and my vehicle wasn't fixed yet. Then a month went by. Then two months went by. Then three months. I physically had my vehicle in my procession for maybe five days. They had it the next three almost four months. I was at this point done. Between calling corporate, dealing with horrible management, only at the threat of getting a lawyer did they finally give me my money back. And the kicker!! It's back up for sale at almost twice what I paid for it. I would never want or tell anyone to buy a vihicle from this place.

It was such a pleasure coping with all the known members at the store. They certainly were extremely important through the process that is total associated with the automobile I ended up getting. The actual shopping for/haggling/buying car part was fine. Our salesman was new, but the manager was helping them out. Both were nice, a little pushy, but that's to be expected when buying a car unfortunately. The worst part was when we had to go in to sign all of our financing paperwork. We had a very specific monthly payment in mind and it took quite a while to get down to that payment, so we didn't do any extra add-ons or additional insurance or anything. Well halfway through signing all of our finance paperwork, the guy that we were working with tried to get us to purchase gap insurance, and we politely declined. Well, he kept pushing, I get it, this is how he makes money, so we declined again. He proceeded to spend the next 10-15 minutes harassing us about how we should be purchasing gap insurance, how we're making a terrible decision, and even proceeded to pull up Suze Orman's website to prove to us what a terrible decision this was. It was 9 pm, we were tired, tired of haggling, and this was the last thing I wanted to deal with. Whether you agree with our decision or not, it was our decision, and I absolutely didn't appreciate getting badgered while we were signing the rest of our paperwork. I've bought multiple cars and have never ever had an experience as bad as this one. Despite the actual car buying process being okay, we will never return here, not even to get our car serviced.

We went to Russ Darrow to look at a car for my sister to purchase. In the process we came to like a Jeep Cherokee we saw. We test drove it and liked it. We were not needing a car at the time but sat down and discussed our options. We felt comfortable with the quoted price but needed to go home and crunch the numbers. They allowed us to go home and review our numbers and honored the purchase price we agreed upon before we left. ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Offered price for car, they didn't like it, we asked what they wanted, their response was our numbers were so far off it was ridiculous (our price was similar to 3 other cars of the same model), didn't even answer our question about what they wanted. Didn't even lets us ask about the 3 other similar cars in that situation. Did not explain to us our financing options when we asked about them. Salesman claimed we were trying to get a car for x. I did the math, included taxes, licensing/title fees, etc, and still came out ABOVE what he was claiming we were asking. They absolutely didn't help us at all. They just insulted us by saying we were ridiculous and to come back when we had more reasonable numbers. Tom I believe was the baldheaded saleman who just completely lost the sale. I DO NOT want to work with them. SOOOO RUDE, INSULTING, AND NON-HELPFUL. And this is a REAL customer review!!!!! I'm so unhappy with the service!!! I don't even want to put one star. If I could put 0 stars, I would.

The Salesperson I spoke to was way too awesome to just be a salesperson. I thought he was the man in charge! Unfortunately I did not get a car that day but I do want to go back and work with him. If only the Manager could stop being so rude. The good cop and bad cop scenario doesn't work when someone who is trying to buy a car from this particular dealership is already annoyed by the terrible first impression this guy made. I mean, seriously, talking me down is not going to make me want to buy a car from you. Simple as that. And also, of course a brand new car is going to be way better than a beat up old red Kia you keep in the back to scare people into buying the new car. I get it, great plan. both of these cars weren't for me. But anyways, look for Johnny if you want real help and don't let anyone else chime in.

Do not, under any circumstances, purchase a wraparound warranty through Russ Darrow. I have had two separate $500+ repairs on non-wear and tear items. Despite having "platinum coverage," both of these items were excluded. I was sold this warranty (after refusing it at least twice) when told that it covered everything except wear and tear items. As I said, I refused the warranty twice. If I had not absolutely needed a car immediately, I would have walked out and refused to purchase the vehicle. They kept pushing and pushing and bumped me up to the platinum coverage at a lower price. Out of weariness, I relented. Costly mistake. Don't make the same mistake.

I recently leased a new Nissan from Russ Darrow Nissan and would recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a new car. They picked me up at my apartment in downtown Milwaukee with the car I was interested in. the rep was very knowledgeable about the car and various options. I didn't end up with the car I originally thought I would purchase - but ended up with one that better suited my needs. They made the process easy and I was driving away in my new car within 3 hours from the time they picked me up.

They kept changing price of vehicle. Was told they would give more for trade in but then increased price of car, hoping we would check. Sales person kept asking us to sign hoping he could pull a fast one. Wouldn't give us are keys when we wanted to leave. Really awful experience. My husband and I have never experienced such shady sales.

RE: my terrible Russ Darrow experience. Our old Honda 2000 CR-V had served us well but became uneconomical to repair. We decided to look for a replacement.After searching the Mequon Russ Darrow web site, an off lease 2014 Honda CR-V looked like a good replacement. I inquired about availability and Paul Westdrop replied that it was in stock and invited me to come to the Metro Blvd dealership for a test drive. encouraged me to come in for a killer deal.I went to the designated dealership and found that Paul Westdorp actually worked at corporate, Adam Van Roo in sales greeted me, found the car and I took a test drive. He handled the cash sale professionally, quoted me a price that I felt was reasonable, and I decided to buy. I wrote a personal check that was verified and approved. As I was waiting for the plates and title to be transferred I was ushered in to an office where Probert Yang AKA Mr Otis, was waiting with a smile, but the smile turned and he became a vicious animal. I knew that his intent was to increase my cost. he told me that my approved check was for the wrong amount. I told him that I am very hard of hearing and that I need to review all documents prior to signing, in addition I requested clear copies of all documents signed, not fuzzy carbon or other poor copies. He continued to ignore my request and kept badgering me to purchase extra warranty coverage or services that I didn't want or need, much of it was already covered by my other auto insurance. I told him to stop but He continued to talk aggressively pushing documents, that I didn't have an opportunity to review, in my face with instructions to sign at the X. I don't believe that I received good copies of all documents requested and may have signed when I should not have. Finally, as if he got a sign from someone, he backed off, stuffed the papers in an envelope, and let me out of his den. Just leased a car about a week ago and have to say I had a great experience. Walked in around 6:30pm and left with a brand new car by 9pm. They took my trade in and even picked it up from my house. My salesman Doug was great. Made me feel like I was family. The rest of the staff was very nice and made me feel the same way. I'd definitely recommend buying a car from them.

This was a very pleasant experience from the moment we called, to the final purchase of the car. Fernando Thomas greeted us as we arrived late Monday night. inside the crew were all cheerful, despite being the end of the day. Rob the manager helped answer any questions we had. The bottom line is this, the service and friendliness we received was reminiscent of the fifties and sixties where service came first. There are tons of places to buy cars and in my estimation the only difference is the service and honesty that you get from who you're dealing with. I highly recommend these people at Russ Darrow Nissan. Nick, Rob, Fernando, Dave etcetera. With them, you knew they were mostly concerned with you being satisfied with your purchase and how you were treated. There was an issue with the car that we bought which if they would have stuck to the black and white we signed, they wouldn't have had to do anything but they bent over backwards to make sure that it got handled and it did. I highly recommend going to Russ Darrow Nisson.

I bought a new Nissan from Russ Darrow - Big mistake. That experience turned terrible after we agreed on a price and they had a retainer on my credit card. Soon after I got the car I noticed that the gas gauge did not work properly. I asked that it be repaired under the warranty. The service department plugged it into their computer. Apparently the reading said the gas gauge was working fine. So they refused to fix it. The gas gauge does not work fine. They have the photos of my complaint. I have a photo of the instrument cluster with the mileage reading, the low gas warning light off, the gauge reading 1/4 tank and the distance to empty reading 43 miles. I have a photo of the instrument cluster with the mileage reading, the low gas warning light on with the gauge reading 1/4 tank and the distance to empty reading 43 miles and a photo taken 18 miles later of the instrument cluster confirming the mileage driven and the gauge reading empty. They told me that is the way it is designed. Really. Then they told me to live with it because there was nothing they could do.

I started out at Russ Darrow. It was suppose to be one of many stops to compare some SUV's. Fernado Thomas came out and greeted us. I was impressed with the Nissan Rogue every time I saw one. I looked at a couple of them and test drove the one I ended up buying. Fernado was great to work with. He explained the process of what was expected of me and the operations of the car. It was a long day and I was getting tired so I'm sure I missed quite a bit of what he was saying but I know I can go back and get a refresher. I would recommend Russ Darrow and Fernado Thomas to anyone.

I have purchased alot of vehicles and generally loathe the process but this dealership did so many things wrong, its incredible and I don't know where to begin.The sale person, Adam, asked me right away for my SSN and said he needed it just as a way to find out how much i owe on my existing loan. Next thing i know, he is talking about what i could buy or lease based on my credit score. He then tried very hard to put me in this last year floor model. I was then asked to come back the next day and they would have a variety of options to show me. They showed me one different type of car. I asked for a DVD player to be added at no additional charge and they ended up not only charging me for it but they talked originally that the monitors would be in the headrests and wheN it wwas installed,it was a single monitor in the ceiling and when its down, i cant see out the back! Thomas in finance wont return a phone call for nothing and he was supposed to cancel my gap insurance within the first 30 days and i called the company just the other day to confirm and it was still active! He never canceled it and now it is past the time of a full refund. I tried to meet with Nick the GM and had to cancel once and now he wont call me back and i am being beyond polite on all my messages to everyone. I would recommend to go somewhere else to buy your next car.

We have been with the Russ Darrow Group for over 10 years and have really liked other dealers within their network. We bought a new car from Nissan, and the experience was just okay. The people were very nice and they were knowledgeable, however, the process took forever. It should not take 4.5 hours to purchase a car and complete the paperwork. While admittedly, at least an hour was spent researching a couple of options, it still should not have taken so long. It was a frustrating day, but I like my new car and am willing to give them a chance to make it up to us in their service. We will see how that goes!

I initially called this dealership to inquire about a car I saw online. The Carfax said the car had sustained some minor damage, but the person on the phone said it has been repaired. Pleased with this response, I set up an appointment to see the car that day. I test drove it and decided to buy because it was a great deal. However, I did notice that the car still had some cosmetic damage, despite the fact that the person I first talked to said it had been fixed. We agreed on a price (NOTE that they tried to tack on a $500 extra charge for not financing with them - really slimy of them) and I then proceeded to wait 2.5 hours to fill out the paperwork because there was only one "finance guy" working. While I waited, I was told the car was being washed and prepared for me to take it home. When I looked at the car later, I saw that the car had barely been cleaned. There were still plenty of large, visible dirt spots on the hood - if it was washed at all, it was definitely a sloppy job and my car didn't look clean. I had also arranged for my old car to be brought back to me (I live 1.5 hours away) at a later date. In addition to not having my car back when the dealer said I would, I was not contacted to let me know that the plans had been changed. When I called to inquire about my car being brought back to me, I spent a lot of time on hold and getting directed to voicemails before I finally reached a manager who was rude and made me feel like I was in the wrong for being upset. My car is great, but I am very disappointed in the customer service I received. I feel like once they had my money, they didn't care about my experience or my needs anymore, and I think that's a terrible way to treat paying customers.Long story short, there are plenty of dealerships out there that go out of their way to make everything nice for their customers and give great service. Save your time, energy, and money by going to one of those instead.

We requested and received a confirmation of the online E-Price for a Nissan pathfinder from Russ Darrow Nissan. The email confirmed all of the following: 2015 Nissan Pathfinder SV, Exterior Color: Cayenne Red, VIN Number, Interior Color: Charcoal, Stock number, Engine: 6 Cyl, Miles: 5, Transmission: CVT with Xtronic, and the E-Price - $29,322.00 . (compared to the MSRP $36,080) The emailed price $29,322 was $6,758 under a great deal right! It was exactly what we were looking for. We set up an appointment and test drove the car. We told the salesman we would take the car at the E-Price He said ok and went to tell his sales manager. Everything was fun to this point. He came back with a piece of paper, an offer sheet I think, that showed a price more than $6.000 over the price Russ Darrow emailed me that morning before I made the appointment for a test drive and they included in that much higher price a $600 credit for graduating college within 2 years which didnt even apply. I thought it fair to compare the E-Price $29,322 to the MSRP $36,080 but they also added the $885 delivery charge into the price which was included in the MSRP. The worst part of the experience is that Russ Darrow never acknowledged the e-price. I expected to pay about $31,822 to cover taxes ($1,500) title fee ($100) trailer hitch and harness ($500) maybe a set-up fee (say $200-400); or about $2500 more than the quoted E-Price and close the deal. The salesman never acknowledged that there ever was E-Price. It too k an hour to negotiate the real sale price which is nearly $1500 more than I expected. The deal is maybe ok but not the great deal I thought Russ Darrow had offered and I was expecting. Russ Darrow never explained what was not included in the price they emailed and they pretended like that number never existed or was immaterial. I could go on. Car dealers have a terrible image and Russ Darrow did nothing to change that in my mind.And to top off a bad buying experience, Russ Darrow made us set around for nearly 2 hours waiting for someone to close the deal after we agreed on a price by 1:15. We spent from 10:40 am to 4:40 pm to buy a car. Russ Darrow has a lot of work to do. I will say, Johnny, the salesman was very knowledgeable and friendly. I know that is his job but we liked him. I also liked, David, who I met the first time I came in earlier in the week.Buying a car should be fun. All I want is honesty. Buying from Russ Darrow left a bad taste in my mouth. I just dont know if they are better or worse than other dealers.

I agree with the people that has rated this dealership a 1 star rating. There are some VERY DIS-HONEST sales people at this dealership. They will even take advantage of people that are ill. I mentioned I was diabetic and could not stay much longer, and I was kept (I think) intentionally to take advantage of the situation. I believe they are immune to customers writing to the BBB. The district office seems to stick by the sale person(s) without any real satisfaction.I was there recently for an oil change. The cashier was very rude. When I received a courtesy call, I mentioned this and was referred to customer service, and the person said he would talk to her and get back to me. Well, that never happened.I will start taking my car to a regular service place for an oil change and other repairs. I AM DONE WITH NISSAN!!!!

All levels of staff were rude and condescending. They treat their customers with nothing but disrespect. To make it worse, they will intentionally make you wait as long as possible while they disappear. It seems to be a game for them to see how long they can make you wait. Ive never encountered such horrible customer service. I have called numerous times every single day for over two weeks to get an issue with the vehicle I purchased from them repaired, but they will not return my phone calls.

One of the most insulting experiences of my life. I test drove three Nissan Rogues. We began negotiating on one car. I then asked for prices to compare all three vehicles. The salesman came back after talking to his manager and said that his manager would not give us prices on the car today. Basically telling me he did not want to sell me a car. I had a decent down payment and I have good credit. There was no reason for them to treat me this way, I am a paying customer coming to them for a service. To top the experience off I found prices of the vehicles that I looked at online and they were cheaper than the "bottom line" the salesman initially gave me. I would have bought a car from them based on the prices online, but now I will never go back and never recommend anyone going there.

I was there for two hours after series of price negotiations I, sale person, and manager came to agree on price. I did my initial too. After this manager told he would go and prepare contract. Ten minutes later sales Pearson came and said that since some of options (maintenance, oil change) that we all agreed on cost us money and we will not do a deal. My question is once both party agree you can not deny. Before any one agree on anything should know what they are getting or selling.Not only that as we were walking out of building all sales person were laughing at us. Is this their attitude towards customer? No customer respect and back out from agreed price.Do not waste your time.

Thrice i visited and every time came back empty handed - what they tell you on the phone and what happens when you meet them is totally different. I had very clearly given what type of car i need and the price range and they nodded to all of it and when i landed none of them matched. I spent couple of hours and at the end - they did not live upto the expectation. Next time, will go to a different nissan dealer.

This is the most poorly run car dealership I've ever encountered. On Monday I called intending to buy a car I saw advertised on cars.com. Cash deal - no trade, doesn't get any easier than that. I had to leave a message because no one answered the phone during regular business hours. Should have been my first clue. Who leaves a phone unattended? I left a message on the receptionists voice mail asking for a return call. After 5 hours, with no return call, I tried the chat feature on their website. The girl I chatted with could only verify that the car was still in their inventory so she had me call her direct so she could transfer me to Ashely. Ashley confirmed the price and that they still had the car. I asked if we could arrange a delivery since I live 4 hours away - I asked if we could meet half way since I've done that before with another dealer. Ashley spoke to her sales "manager" who confirmed they would meet me to complete the sale. I said "Great, let's confirm all of the numbers". Ashley put me on hold so her sales "manager" could work up the numbers for me. 35 minutes on hold and no one ever picked up the phone - so I hung up. Stupidly undeterred, I tried the chat feature again that evening and again was connected with Ashely. She profusely apologized and gave me several reasons (excuses) why they had been so overwhelmed that day. She confirmed my number and said one of the so called "managers" would call me in the morning. Two business days later and no return call. (I'm trying to spend cash with you people!) So I called the dealership one more time and who do I get on the phone...Ashley! She puts me on hold and after a few minutes comes back and her "manager" says because I'm from Illinois, they cannot meet me half way to complete the deal. It must be done at the dealership. I've bought a lot of cars over the years and have never encountered such a poorly run dealership. Russ Darrow needs to fire some people and get actual managers in place. It's no wonder there are 200 Better Business Bureau complaints against this company. They have the car I want to buy, I've got cash and they can't figure out how to complete the deal! Not surprising considering they don't seem to know how to work a phone.

Good news -Everyone I met was professional and pleasant to work with. Not so good - Way too long of process. 10AM to 3PM is too long. When I said no to extra services, no to add-on warranties and no to financing, I meant no. All I wanted was to pick a car (done in 30min), write a check and leave. BTW, I paid the dealer listed price. You tell me why it should take so long.

These people are a bunch of crooks. I had worked out a price on the internet and confirmed 0% financing. We drove 3 hours to get there to pick-up our car, and suddenly the 0% only existed if we paid sticker price, nearly $8,000 more than agreed upon. They would not honor the price I had IN WRITING. As I started walking out the door, suddenly the price started falling. They even dropped the nearly $2,000 of rust-proofing they supposedly apply to every vehicle. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP. I bought elsewhere and will never return. This was hands down the worst buying experience I have ever encountered.

I just resettled in the US and was looking for a used vehicle. Found one on cars.com; called the dealer to confirm availability of the vehicle and fixed an appointment. When I arrived there, I was received by a smile and invited to try the vehicle right away. Upon returning, I made a counter offer to the price offered and they accepted immediately. The only hitch is the length of time I had to wait to sign all the papers (about 2 hours). But 3 hours after I first steped in the store, I had a vehicle registered under my name and ready to go. They also repleshied the vehicle with gas (half a tank). The salespeople (Ali & his assistant) were exceptionally friendly).

I found a car online at this dealership priced at $13,999 plus they had a $2,100 minimum trade in deal, which I called twice and verified that that applied to the car I was looking at before making the 2 hour drive. After we test drove the car the salesmen put the numbers down in front of us. The car was "discounted" to $16,999 and they would give me $1,000 for my trade. How does that work? We stuck to our guns and got the deal that we were looking for but what kind of business does that? Theft and murder numbers would sky rocket if every business ran like this!! And to top it all off the finance guy tried to see us a warranty that had higher monthly payments (for 5 years!!) than the loan payment! We paid $13,999 for the car and the warranty would have cost over $18,000!!! Had I read reviews on this dealership I would not have gone there and I will certainly not be returning. The salesmen gave me some of his cards and said if you know anyone looking...yeah those puppies went straight to the trash!! Alot of times when I leave a car dealership I have a good feeling and proud to be a customer of theirs. Here I just feel like we fought off all their BS to get the deal we came for. Stay away from this place if you can avoid it!!

Brought my vehicle for gas gauge repair which is covered under warranty. Long story short it was recommened I replace my 4 tires on my 2011 nissan rogue so I obliged. 3 months later I get a flat on the driver side rear and took to Firestone for replacement tire 1/2 a mole from where I got the flat for emergency repair.I told them I would like the tire repaired if possible since they are only 3 months old. I stood next to the gentleman as he took the flat tire off the rim as I wanted to be sure it could not be fixed. There was a slash in it at no fault to Russ Darrow and could not be repaired. The issue I have is that the tire had a patch inside the tire that was sold to me as New! My families safety was put in jeopardy assuming I had purchased "new" tires. I was told by Russ Darrow that they only sell new tires and that is about they had to say about issue. So I was left basically that I am a liar when I questioned how a patched "new" tire ended up on my vehicle. I will never take my vehicle there for servicing again let alone purchase a vehicle from them as I have lost trust in this dealership.

Purchased a 2005 Honda CR-V on Friday. Picked it up Saturday. Sunday noticed the driver's side door lock does not work with the keyless entry. Called Johnny Anderson, salesman who sold me the car, and he checked with "Dean" his used car sales manager, who told him "car was sold as is, can't authorize to have it looked at." EXTREMELY UNHAPPY AND THIS WOULD BE FRAUDULENT ADVERTISING. Car was/and still is on the website, listing "keyless remote entry." Perhaps it should have said "on 3 doors." I didn't try the remote entry while I was there, assuming since it was advertised as having the option, it was verified as working. Was told to "try tapping around the lock with a rubber mallet." Tried that, didn't fix it. I expect better service and someone to take ownership of the issue and have it fixed. Spoke to "Dean" used car sales manager who told me "we can buy the car back. We sold it at a very fair price." Asked to speak to his boss, Nick Saidai, who also indicated they could buy the car back. When I said it is fraudulent to advertise the keyless remote entry as an option since it doesn't work, he said "That is debatable." When asked what that means,he said "It does work - on 3 doors." Also indicated I should have checked the functioning of the remote entry. I said I don't want to return the car, I want the dealership to provide ethical service and fix the driver's side door. Nick indicated that would not happen.

He promised to keep us up to date, as we had not been informed of what was happening so far; I told him I understood that they may be having problems and simply asked to be kept informed of what was going on.I called on July 11 and talked with the service manager who informed us that the repairs were still 5 - 6 days away from being complete. Will update if I ever actually get the car we paid for (BTW, we paid cash for the car!)

But when I got there, they made me wait for 30 min. to see the finance person and then told me that the car was sold. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My sales guy said he put the Sold tag in the car before he left and asked the manager to take care of me especially I am coming from 2 hours away. And then when I got there, the car was gone. They didn't have a courtesy to call me because they wanted to sell me another car and made me drove all the way there and then made me wait another 30 min. and told me that they have other cars that I can buy. I drove 2 hours back home without a new car. Please do NOT deal with that dealer. They are liars.

Robert Garcia the Sales Rep was knowledgeable, informative, very pleasant and helpful. He made sure I had a good comparison of the various Nissan SUV models as well as a good understanding of lease vs purchase. The finance people were incredibly helpful and educational. We made an "appointment" to see a vehicle we found online. We were very interested in the internet price, but found out after we talked numbers w the finance person that "those numbers aren't real"!! The salesman we worked w was very nice, but very new and did not have much to do w dealing with us, as the finance person runs the show. Our credit is decent, our two current vehicles are financed for 1.9% , however they insisted we would be in a high bracket which was why the payment they suggested to us was much higher than we were expecting. We did the calculations ourselves and the numbers did not add up- they would not even negotiate, and refused to see eye to eye on the internet price- in the end very disappointed w the false advertising- will not return to deal w them because of their dishonesty- plus they would not even disclose what the interest rate would be- one of their offers was at 29%!! Not good business- sorry for people who don't do the math and fall for their games!

I want to personnaly thank Russ Darrow Nissan Metro Staff and most of all the outstanding salesman Robert Garcia. We came in to look at an used car to replace a totaled vehicle. Robert showed us a number of cars on the lot and then took the time to sit down and really listen to our needs for safety, reliability and budget for a car for my daughter. She ended up with a new 2014 and within her budget. She happily purchased her new car on 4-5-2014 I was so impressed with his customer service that I brought my wife in the following business day and Robert was able to put her in the exact car that she wanted. trying to purchase vehicle in Milwaukee over internet. Terrible customer serice! Did not return calls, or emails (should have set off alarms then) Finally got somebody to give me a price. Verified price twice, so we made appointment and drove down the next day 95 miles. Arrived 30 minutes early. Car was not even close to being prepped to go. Employees sitting all over doing nothing! Sit down to fill out paperwork, and was informed price they told me was inaccurate, was considerably higher! Manager rude, and arrogant, saying"you're still getting a good price". Wife took a vacation day, and spent half the day driving down, to have been duped by false statements. Left without a vehicle. As I stated, buyer beware at this dealership!!!! Ecspecially over the internet.

Easily the worst experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Two days and over five hours later, I finally was allowed to purchase a car. If I hadn't needed a car on an emergency replacement, I would have walked out. Salesperson was friendly, financing person was friendly, but even after making it clear that I had a budget and that I had the money to directly purchase the car, I wasted time waiting until the financing person would even deign to talk with me. Getting the total was almost impossible until I had put money down for the purchase, and they still tried to put the total price separate from the warranties. The entire experience was disrespectful of my time, insulting to my intelligence, and has made me reluctant to even set foot in the dealership for maintenance and tuneups for fear that they will try to waste my time and money further than they already have. Do not waste your time in going to this store unless you want to have you time wasted and patience tested.

Had the worst experience ever. I had done a lot of shopping around for cars and knew exactly what I wanted. I found a really good price at this dealer and emailed them to confirm the price and monthly payments, etc and then scheduled an appointment to go in the next day. My husband, an accountant, came with me to help me with the pricing. They showed us the car right away and it was perfect. We talked about pricing and of course they threw in their little fees that my husband picked up on immediately and refused to pay. They agreed to take these out of the equation. Once things sounded settled my husband and I discussed it and were willing to buy it. My husband had a work meeting and I felt comfortable finishing things up since they told laid out the pricing for us. Well I sit there for about an hour filling out paperwork and they asked me for the $3,000 down payment check right away. I said I would give them the check as soon as I saw the paperwork so I could see the numbers that we discussed actually on paper. The sales person looked at me like I was crazy and went and talked to the manager. He came back and was like well "we are afraid you just want to see our number so you can take them to a different dealer." I am not sure where this came up since I was already in the process of signing the paperwork. I explained again that I just didn't feel comfortable writing my check until I saw the paperwork. Again he went back to the manager and this time I could hear them talking and the manager was "well just tell her she is going to have to hang tight for awhile." It was 20 feet away from me so I just stood up and explained to the manager the exact same thing that I told the sales person. Before I could finish talking the manager cuts me off, "it is sold already, there is nothing we can do." Considering it was a Monday and no one else was there, I doubt it sold, but if it had you think you would offer another car for the same price or offer to relocate one at a different dealer. So I ended up wasting 3 hours of my time for you to finally tell me that the car sold... I don't know if he got cold feet about the price he had given me or what, but the dynamics were definitely off. The sales person I was working with was so upset that he walked away from us and walked away with his hands on head. I asked to speak to a manger, he said he was the manager. I said I wanted to talk to someone above him and he was he would have to call me. Then manager told me I was acting like a child. Let me remind you that my husband had just left, and I am a physician I deal with difficult patients every day and I cater to their needs. So general manager called me like 15 minutes later and supposedly knew nothing so i told him what had happened. He first defended his staff, never actually apologized to me, and said well trust from the dealer and the buyer needs to go both ways and I don't think we have your trust right now. NO KIDDING you don't have my trust after that little incident. He did offer to relocate me the same car then, but I would so much rather give my hard earned money to someone that treats me the way that I deserve to be treated. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! Will never buy a car there and will never tell anyone to go there!

THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING FROM RUSS DARROWWe are writing this review in hopes that you set aside the excitement of a new purchase and think logically before spending your hard earned money on a vehicle at Russ Darrow Nissan in Milwaukee (Russ Darrow). WE DO NOT HOPE YOU MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS WE DID. Unfortunately, we have learned the hard way and we are left dissatisfied with the entire process and all levels of management and personal. We now know the NEVER come back to Russ Darrow and tonot let ANYONE play any classic games we all have heard about that happens at dealerships like this one.THE INSPECTION/TEST DRIVE (October 26)When asked if the vehicle had Satellite Radio the salesman said yes, but was unsure how to make it function within the car. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, AFTER THE PURCHASE, THE VEHICLE DID NOT HAVE SATELLITE RADIO CAPABILITY THAT THE SALESMAN STATED IT HAD DURING THE TEST DRIVE!!!We asked to see underneath the vehicle for any rust and, if any, the severity of the rust. The salesman stated all the lifts were taken. HOW CONVENIENT. We discovered a crack in the windshield on the test drive (never disclosed to us we had to find it ourselves 15 minutes into inspecting the vehicle). We were told it would be fixed prior to taking ownership of the vehicle. Was it fixed at the time? NO! On the passengers inside of the car there was missing a panel. The salesman told us he would look into getting a panel for us. NEVER HEARD A WORD ABOUT IT AFTER THAT. We also noticed scratches and dings throughout the vehicle, which we expected being that it was a used car. WE WERE TOLD THESE WOULD BE BUFFED OUT UPON RECEIVING THE VEHICLE WE WERE PROMISED ALL THE ISSUES WE DISCOVERED AND MENTIONED WOULD BE FIXED EITHER PRIOR TO RECEIVING THE VEHICLE OR ON THE FOLLOWING WEEK WHEN WE CAME BACK.NEGOTIATING THE PRICEDespite all the issues, we decided to make an offer on the vehicle based on Russ Darrows promise to have all the issues fixed on the vehicle. After being asked what we are willing to pay and afford our first offer was instantly rejected. ALL OF A SUDDEN the salesman returned to inform us that there is a couple taking the same vehicle we are interested in for a test drive and that they are ready to buy at full asking price and that we MUST come up in price. We came up in price and he came back saying it wouldnt work due to the other couple willing to pay full price, BUT since we were interested in the vehicle first, they would honor that fact as long as we come up more in price. We unfortunately came up and a deal was struck based on promises.THE SIGNING OF THE CONTRACT/PAPERWORKThe Buyers Guide stated there were discoveries of a front differential leak, step rails rusted, drivers mirror inop & switch inop, and bad battery. We raised questions about these issues and asked to speak to the Manager in regards to them. The Manager stated that the State of Wisconsin is the only State that requires a Buyers Guide and that the State itself is very particular in documenting the current condition of the car, whether they are minor or major issues. He assured us these are all minor issues with a used vehicle and no major issues would come of them in the immediate time being, but they are mandated to report them. THE AUTOMATIC STEP RAIL IS NOW HANGING OFF AND DRAGGING ONTO THE PAVEMENT WHILE MAKING LEFT TURNS A WEEK AFTER WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE!!! AS WELL AS ON OUR WAY TO GET OUR VEHICLE FIXED ON WE NOW HAVING WINDOW GUARDS FLYING OFF OUR VEHICLE AS WE DRIVE ON THE INTERSTATE (THATS SAFE!!!)AND THE MANAGER SAID THESE ARE MINOR TYPICAL ISSUES!!We were then presented gap insurance options, but were unsure of which one to choose. So they had wrote out 2 separate contracts for us to sign depicting different prices based on two different types of gap insurance coverage. They stated we would have to call back on Monday to let them know what contract to submit to the lender. We called back Monday (10/28) to express our displeasure of being told the car did not have what they said it had (Satellite Radio) and the severity of these issues they called minor. I requested that the paperwork not be sent into the lender until we determine a solution for these issues. I was assured again the issues would be fixed and that if they could work out some different pricing, given the fact the car did not have the options we were told it had, they would. COME TO FIND OUT THE CONTRACT WAS DECIDED FOR US WITHOUT OUR VERBAL AUTHORIZATION OF WHAT CONTRACT TO SUBMIT TO THE LENDER.DELIVERY OF THE VEHICLEUpon walking to the vehicle we notice a dent that was never disclosed to us during inspection and was not on the ever so truthful Buyers Guide. WAS TOLD THE DENT WOULD BE FIXED WHEN WE BRING BACK THE VEHICLEThe scratches and dings were still there I QUESTION IF THESE WERE EVEN WORKED ON.In order for the salesman to smooth things over a bit he stated he had one of their employees go put gas in the vehicle. Got in the vehicle and noticed they put a 1/8th of gas in the tank to give it of a tank. WHAT A NICE GESTURE OF RUSS DARROW TO SPEND $15 AFTER WE HAD JUST SPENT OVER $20,000 ON THE VEHICLE. Once we entered in the vehicle we discovered the crack in the windshield was still there that we were promised would be repaired prior to receiving the vehicle. Prior to leaving the lot we were once again assured all issues with the vehicle would be fixed at Russ Darrows expense.POST PURCHASEWe made an appointment for the following Wednesday (10/30). Halfway there I called to confirm our arrival in order for our service to be expedited as they promised (we live 2 hours away) to only have them cancel the appointment on us. Would it have been that difficult for them to pick up the phone first thing in the morning and inform us they could not accommodate us that day so that we both would not have taken off work and save us gas money? I voiced my extreme displeasure at this point only for the salesperson to smooth things over by assuring us they would work around our work schedules the following week and to inform us that we purchased the vehicle cheaper than we thought. The salesperson informed us that my fiance was not approved for the agreed upon price and they lowered the amount of the car to put us at our maximum financing limit. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE WERE EVER TOLD THIS!!! We have yet to confirm this and I question the reason for not telling us right away. It would not surprise me if it led us down another dark alley about this experience. We called back on Friday of the same week to setup an appointment for Wednesday (11/6) only to be told that Wednesday would not work for their schedule this after being assured by our sales person that Russ Darrow WOULD work around our work schedules. I asked to speak to a Manager and the Manager stated they would honor their commitment to have the vehicle looked at and worked on that day. We both took off another day of work and dished out another $75 in gas money only be told on arrival that they will have to put us in a loner vehicle and we would have to come back because they cannot work on the vehicle that day. UP TO THIS POINT IN TOTAL WE SPENT $125 IN GAS, 2 DAYS OFF WORK (the both of us) FOR A LOSS PAY OF $800 AND A TOTAL NET LOSS OF $925. AND NOW THEY ARE ASKING US TO COME BACK AND TAKE AN ADDITIONAL DAY OFF WORK AND MORE MONEY SPENT ON GAS FOR A TOTAL NET LOSS THAT WOULD PUT US NEAR $1,500?!?!? At this point we have been as patient as anyone could be in the situation we were being put in and we politely ask to speak to the Manager. A Manager comes over and we express our displeasure with the vehicle and its problems that we feel were down played along with the service being provided. We then inform them we would like to return the vehicle if possible. He says he is unsure if that is possible and leaves. As we were sitting there for approximately 5 minutes and seeing only one potential customer in a cubical and all the Sales Managers just standing around, we again ask to speak to the Manager. The salesman again made a final smooth it over type pitch and reminded us that we had gotten a better deal than we had thought. However, we were tired of the constant run around and games being played that nothing he could say or do at this point could possibly smooth anything over. Instead of the Sales Manager being brought out, the Financing Manager is brought out to explain the breakdown in numbers within the purchase. With two different contracts being signed and this new sales price we were told about DAYS AFTER THE PURCHASE, numbers were being thrown at us left and right to the point we couldnt make heads or tails out of it all. He then asks if we have any questions and we ask AGAIN to speak to a Sales Manager. After about another 5 minutes of waiting a different Sales Manager sits down and informs us that he understands there are issues with the vehicle and that he would be happy to look at them, but COULD NOT PROMISE THEY WOULD FIX ALL THESE ISSUES BASED ON PRICE. THIS WHOLE TIME WE WERE PROMISED THAT THESE ISSUES WOULD BE FIXED AND NOW THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THAT PROMISE?!?! I make him aware of our displeasures and state that we would like to return the car based on their constant attempt to down play the issues that we discovered and what was stated in the Buyers Guide, including them not honoring their original promise to have all the issues fixed at the cost of Russ Darrow. He states that my fiance signed the contract and that we should have read it more carefully. Then proceeds to tell us the contract is made final and they would not even look at the vehicle at this point. I then inform him of the options we have legally, as a purchaser, that I would be contacting the Wisconsin DOT while seeking legal representation in this matter. He stood up and said GET OUT OF HERE AND YOU CAN HAVE YOUR ONE ATTORNEY GO UP AGAINST OUR 30 with a smirk on his face. I then proceeded to the sales cubicle next to the one we were in and tapped a lady, who was interested in a vehicle there, on the shoulder to inform her of our experience at Russ Darrow. We began to walk out only to be cursed at for informing the lady. As we walked out she walked out right behind us. I only wish someone would have tapped us on the shoulder that day to inform us. I drove 45 miles to test drive a Lincoln Navigator. This was after making contact with the Internet Sales Manager & a sales rep. I was even told another person was planning on showing up to test drive the vehicle later the same day. When I arrived, I found that the vehicle had sold over the weekend. I understand that things happen over a weekend that not everyone is aware of, but I'm offended after making the Sales manager aware, internet sales manager aware and the sales associate aware of how unhappy I was, I find the Lincoln still on the website for the dealership and on cars.com. I would not buy a cup of coffee from the vending machine at this dealership. Way too many good, credible dealers out there.

Had a Pathfinder SL model listed at a very attractive price. I called and verified the price twice. I then scheduled a test drive with my wife and the 1st thing I showed them was the internet price print out. Sales Person said they would honor it. During the ride, I kept asking what's wrong with it.. Why are you selling as cheap as a base model... came to a conclusion maybe because it's missing features like NAV. We proceeded to go ahead with purchase. 20 minutes later... Manager came out... said this was listed wrong... we can't honor it... and walked away. He seemed upset at us. Upset at Us?? Frankly, it was rude. Then the sales person turns to me and asks if he can get us into a Murano? What!! I had my doubts... but asked ummptom times. So a mess up... rude in our faces. I decided to call the manager the next day to tell him price was wrong, last visit was kinda rude, ... and I was still looking for a Pathfinder. Told me internet Price will be updated in 3 hours... and will call back with a deal on a Pathfinder... and apologized for price mix up. Okay.. not bad I thought. Manager never called back..(I even called back 2 times later and left 1 message on interest). price wasn't update 3 days later when I last checked. Am I missing something here? Wasn't being rude.. just trying to buy a car... told them interested in a vehicle... wow... I guess confused on how to buy a car at this place. I wonder how car service would be if I can even work with a sales person!

So my husband and I left and the sales man calls me to "get more information" and I told him I am not interested. Now all of a sudden my husband and I have 6 new inquiries on our credit report because they ran our credit after I specifically told them NOT TO!!!!! needless to say I will NEVER do business with Russ Darrow again, and I will make sure my family and friends don't waste there time here either!

I saw a car on Russ Darrow's website that I liked. I called them that morning and asked if they still have it on the lot. They said that they did. I drove an hour and a half to get there because I was very interested in it. A salesman greeted me before I got anywhere of course. I asked him if I could take a look at the specific car and he told me that it had been sold two days ago. I left and will happily not be considering a car at a Russ Darrow dealer ever again. :)

I have recently had the honor of doing business at the new Metro Nissan Service Center. I have had a history of bad service experiences in the past with other dealerships. After Matt Smeiska reassured me that I would get good service, and that he would see to it, I am now feeling a sense of trust once again. I cannot thank him and his staff enough, for the way that they explained things to me, and let me look on while my car was worked on. I cannot say that I trust all dealerships, but I will not hesitate to return to Metro Nissan as long as Matt is overseeing the service department. Thank you Matt and the nice mechanic who worked on my car.

I would go to any other Nissan dealer in the Milwaukee area, but never to this one.I was quoted a price on the phone (and in person) for a car. I got this quote when I was at another dealership, when I told them the price, they said they had to be lying, and oh boy, were they.Once I tried to buy the car at the price given ($284 for a 2013 Nissan Leaf SL lease) with my trade in, that is when the games started. First they tried to heavily under quote me on the value of my car. My car was in average shape, they offered me $3000 below worst possible rating. Next, they decided to tack on a $2000 coat "protection" package without even asking me. This is even after I made fun of it right to the salesmen. Also found out later that other dealers were charging $1200 for it.Any anytime I had a question on numbers, our salesman played dumb. He constantly said he didn't know what charges were for and what was being offered, behind the scenes finance guys who wouldn't talk to you till you are walking out the door did all the numbers.In the end, even if I kept my car, they were never going to give me the price quoted. They were saying i needed to come up to at least $350.Overall, I will NEVER go there again. Go to Boucher Nissan in Waukesha instead, they know what they are doing.

The sales were phenomenal, but it took nearly 2 hours to get through financing due to not having enough staff. It was very frustrating. I would highly reccomend Jerad again, but would suggest going during a non busy time to ensure less wait for finance and paperwork.

I have given this dealership a very bad rating because they are a bunch of liars who like to steal from the elderly, and take advantage of them! If they did this to my Dad, who knows how many other elderly people they have taken advantage of! I was there with my Dad when he told them he didn't know whether or not he could afford to pay cash for a Pontiac G6. The used car manager, Brenden told my Dad in order to hold the car for up to 5 days (make sure it wasn't sold to someone else), just to give them a couple of hundred dollars, until he was able to figure out his finances. This was on Friday, December 16th 2011. My Dad told them to charge $200.00 to his Discover card, and by Monday, December 19th 2011, he would know whether or not he had enough cash in his account after subtracting the taxes. I have given money to a dealership before to hold a car, and they gave me my check back when I couldn't afford it. Same goes for apartments I have rented. When my Dad went to the used car dealership on Monday, December 19th to tell them he was going with a lower price car that was within his budget, and to refund the $200.00 to his Discover Card, Brenden--used car manager disappeared for 20 minutes. When he came back, he told my Dad they could only charge his card, they didn't have the ability to refund his card, and they would mail him a check for $200.00. Up to this point in time (December 31, 2011), my Dad still has seen a check in the mail from them. I've worked in retail long enough to know if you can charge a card, you can refund a card. They took advantage of the fact my Dad is elderly, and didn't know they were lying to him. I plan to report this dealership to the WI BBB. There's also a law against taking advantage of the elderly. They employ a bunch of sharks and vultures waiting to pray on those who don't know any better.

From the moment I walked into the dealership, I felt comfortable. All the employees had smiles on their faces and interacted well with each other. It appears that they enjoy their jobs. I knew what kind of car I wanted, and there was no up-selling or pressure of any kind. The first offer I received was the only one required, and I was dumbfounded by it because it was an excellent price. I just sat there, staring at the paper, and the Sales Manager asked "Is there something wrong?" I replied that I wasn't expecting such a good offer right off the bat, and the manager replied "we prefer to give the best price up front, instead of in $100 increments". Jerad, the sales rep, said "that's the Darrow difference!" I really didn't believe that advertising slogan, but I do now. They were willing to search for a specific color, and they were very easy to work with on financing - much flexibility for a qualified buyer. The car came with 3 free oil changes with no appointment required. And all of this occurred after 5 PM! I never thought I'd say this about buying a car, but it was actually a pleasant experience. Jerad is a wonderful sales rep - very attentive, patient and helpful. Everyone I spoke with, including Eric in Finance, was top notch. I keep my cars for 8-10 years, but even so, Darrow has a customer for life.

Jerad took my call at 10pm!!! Even though he did not have vehicle on lot was willing to locate it for me and in the color I wanted and while beating all dealers "internet prices". We had a misunderstanding that was dealt with as smoothly and with no pressure. We also meet with Igor the sales manager and Eric in finance, all were great and made us feel comfortable...a rarity for sure. Would recommend with 2 thumbs up!!!

My brakes went out and they came to my place and drove me to the dealer, I drove home in a car. Amazing, we finsihed the paperwork on the weekend.

Everyone at this business are not only friendly, but also knowledgeable and helpful in every way possible. This is my second purchase this year from Russ Darrow Nissan. Not to mention my fourth overall, because we really like the Nissan brand for the economic value and the safety features. Especially the safety features; you see, we are living proof from a front end collision that totaled our 2010 Nissan Sentra and walked away without a scratch. The police were also amazed that the vehicle damage left usin such good shape.Demetrius sold us our second car in a month, having bought a 2011 Sentra exactly 30 days earlier. His salesmanship brought us back for another buy because he's excellent in his approach to selling you what you want and need. He showed me many different models available before narrowing it down to driving one and then deciding. I would have been offered more test drives, but I had done that just a month earlier. I really appreciate driving several different models to choose one I like the best.Tom and Igor, the bosses of Demetrius, seem to work seamlessly with him when negotiating the sale. This team is superb. There aren't enough superlatives to describe a fine experience purchasing a car. The employees were all very nice as soon as we walked it. Brought us pop and coffee. Showed us cars in my price ranger, were not pushy and even though we were there close to closing they allowed us to take our time in making decisions. Igor, Jerod and Eric as well as the porter all stay 2 hours beyond closing! Negotiations were simple and fast! Igor and Eric handled the bank matters quickly and got me a great price/rate! Paper work was fast and I actually had fun buying car as stressful as it can be!They went above and beyond!

I bought a used Passat and on the way home the "check engine" light came on.
