I've bought many vehicles throughout time, and this was one of the best car shopping experiences I've had! Was looking around a few weeks, so that means a few other dealerships were visited. Heard of Russ Darrow in West Bend, decided to visit, and that concluded our search! Had exactly what I was looking for and as for working with my budget, that went without a glitch! Was 100% set on doing my own financing, as none of us like the multiple credit checks going out. But since I'm from out of town, thought I'd give it a try so save a trip. Listened to my request of only using a couple finance institutions, and unbelievably they had one come back better than what my own financing offered! Top it off, who likes to wait to get their new vehicle after you purchase it? Not many I'm assuming. At Russ Darrow of West Bend, I got mine the same night! Sales rep, Paul Zwick and finance stayed past hours to be able to send me home in my newly purchased vehicle! That's dedication! I must add because to me it makes a difference, which is, they know who their customer is! I brought my husband along just because I didn't want to go alone, and not once did I get shoved to the side. I appreciate that. I'm the customer and I was treated as so! Definitely would recommend, and already have, to check out Russ Darrow of West Bend for your next vehicle excursion!

I bought a 2006 Kia Sportage from Lashawn at Russ Darrow. Ran well for a week or so, then broke down. They sent a truck to where i live with a brand new Nissan rental at no cost, and repaired the car we bought at no cost. Once it was repaired they brought it back for us. We have purchased 7 cars from this Russ Darrow dealership since 1987, including 3 previous minivans. This was our first time leasing. We chose a 2016 Town and Country. Our 2005 T & C had 195,000 miles on it when we traded it in for this lease. The Stow & Go folding second row seats are a huge draw for us since we change from hauling people to things frequently. Once again, we had a great time and great people to help us along. Clyde in sales and Amir in financing were both very competent and friendly. We had an extended test drive with a running explanation of features. They both answered our questions and conveyed the impression that they wanted us to be comfortable and happy. I was not impressed with the overall way this place is run- unorganized, or maybe even just plain lazy. I e-mailed one of the secretaries to set up an appointment to view a specific vehicle- but had to cancel due to work on a Friday. I rebooked to see it after the weekend when I could make it in (a 45 minute drive away). She informed me someone was coming to see it that Friday evening. I said ok, could you or someone just please let me know if it sells - otherwise I will call Saturday to be sure you still have it just in case. I actually called and spoke to Erica on Saturday afternoon- to see if was in fact still there - she said Yes it was- and I told her when my appointment was Monday morning. I called again Monday morning to let them know I was on my way to view it (the actual vehicle description) and someone else (a different secretary) there told me- sure, and who to ask for when I arrived. After arriving (after the 45 minute drive)- the salesman told me it actually sold it that previous Friday! Wow- was I disappointed! No real apologies from anyone- but they did have excuses (um we didn't have your phone#, stuff like that). Of course, they proceeded to want to sit me down to see what else they had, but after this experience- I just wanted to leave- so that's exactly what I did. I won't be back.

Was interested in buying a used car in a lower price point. Their used cars are trade-in's that they do nothing to! Looked at 2 cars at the Wauwatosa store - both had rust, paint missing on the hood and roof, smoke stains and garbage in the trunk. I am shopping at a dealership and willing to pay dealer price because the cars are reconditioned. NOT AT RUSS DARROW. Other than the required the state inspection, pad slapping the front brakes and switching some tires around, THEY DO NOTHING TO THERE USED CARS! And when I brought this to there attention and tried to negotiate, the sale manager insulted me! I didn't think that was good customer service so I walked out and brought a car across the street at Gordie Boucher. Save yourself some time and frustration and shop at Grodie Boucher, Heiser, Bob Fish or anywhere else.

I recently switched to this dealership to service my van because of the proximity of the dealership. I brought my vehicle in and told them what was wrong and what needed to be fixed but yet was still charged in excess of $100 for diagnostics. They further charged me two hours shop labor time for a job which takes 10 minutes to complete (I've done the job myself before). It's one thing to make money for the services you provide (and I did not expect to walk away not paying anything), but it's another thing when you take advantage of the customer and charge them excessively. I will NOT be going back to this dealership for service or to purchase my upcoming vehicle.

I came to Russ Darrow West Bend with a very low credit score, hoping they could help me out with building credit. They first approved me for a brand new 2015 car. That I drove for four days. Then there was a "hiccup". They then said that I wasn't approved anymore and took the 2015 Chrysler 200 from me. Next, they said I was approved for a USED car up to $11,500. So I proceeded to shop for a car that met those standards. I chose a 2008 Chrysler 300. I test drove it, liked it, and had made up my mind. I was supposed to come in the next day to do the financing and sign the paperwork. But wait, there's another "hiccup". I was then told that I was not approved for this particular car. Finally, I was told that they could only finance me for a $6,000. In which they only had a handful of vehicles, that fit the guidelines, on the lot. Which were not worth buying This process took 2 weeks of time and money wasted.

The vehicle concerning which I inquired on a Monday was listed online prematurely without photographs or sufficient information to discern if it qualified as a purchase candidate. In my Cars.Com query, I submitted specific questions concerning the condition and equipment of the vehicle. The person responding was a obligatory "greeter" who sent a canned e-mail and possessed no knowledge of the vehicle over the phone; only indicating that the vehicle was recently acquired in trade and photographs would be posted "soon". I explained to the greeter that I resided over 75 miles from their dealership and needed the requested information before I would reasonably make the trip to inspect. On Thursday night of the same week, I noted in my saved section of Cars.com that the photos for the vehicle had been posted without an advisory from the dealership. Since I was out of town at the time, I kept the listing in my saved list for follow-up over the weekend. On Saturday, Cars.Com posted the vehicle as sold. Hours later, I received a second boilerplate e-mail from another functionary at the dealership offering to assist in financing the vehicle in question. I replied that the note was irrelevant as the vehicle was then listed by Cars.com as sold and requested confirmation of same. In the middle of the following week I finally received a note from the greeter that the vehicle was in fact sold and offering another lesser vehicle as an alternative. Although I was not impressed with the dealer's responsiveness to date, I nonetheless sent an e-mail with specific specifications for the vehicle I was seeking (subsequently purchased) to the greeter. Since then, I have been inundated with dealership spam and offers that are not germane to my indicated specifications (primarily new vehicles) as I am obviously on the standard routing list of "prospects" (which I have since blocked). Normally, I would simply ignore obtuse treatment such as outlined except that I have encountered redundant experiences from this dealership and have no inclination to contact same again regardless of the vehicle they may have in inventory.

The only bad thing with our experience at Russ Darrow was that it was raining the day we purchased a used 2007 Jeep Wrangler. Every customer was greeted at the door by a Russ Darrow employee and then asked how they could help, would you care for coffee, etc. The price and negotiation transaction was relatively quick as was the finance portion. Everyone was polite, respectful and courteous; not only to the customers, but to each other. I felt like a "partner" in the whole transaction - not a nuisance. I would recommend Russ Darrow to everyone. Paul was our sales contact and was awesome. We'll be back!

Our first time in buying a brand new vehicle! That's a rare joy you cannot afford to take lightly with the cost of a new van. We didn't expect the process to move so swiftly for a week night having first come in for a mere test drive. We weren't even prepared to part with the old vehicle that soon but the van we were looking for is not so easy to find used or new until finding a small stash of them at Russ Darrow in West Bend. The swift process kind of blew us away like for the new cost did we know what we were doing? Two things that soured the deal a bit was the final price we were financing was not in the ball park we thought because the suggested online price came with several rebates we didn't qualify for like having military status. The other thing was the insistent pitch by the sales manager to buy one of four maintenance packages helping to boost the monthly payments more yet. After a second round we reluctantly said yes to the basic one. Needed or not with a new vehicle after 36,000 or 3 years and the extra package covers up to 60,000?

Our salesman, Dan Domask is truly a people oriented person. He took care of us and guided us through the entire process. He was very thorough and honest with us. He is someone that I now trust and will buy another vehicle from and I don't care if I have to drive 6 hours to get to him. My experience at Russ Darrow, was an absolute pleasure from the moment I called to make my appointment. Andrea went over several promotions and even sent me a text with my appointment details. Upon arrival, PAul Zwick greeted me. There was not one moment he made me feel like a number. He listened to what my expectation and wants were, rather than trying topush something else. HE was incredibly knowledgeable, accomidating, and personable. I literally felt as though I was going to have a stroke. He did every single thing he could to help make me relax and at no point did he pressure me to make any decisions. Russ Darrow is very lucky to have Paul on their team...he is certainly a rare find and exceeds every expectation out there. It was a pleasure, and I will come back in the future.

I set up an appointment this past Saturday to take a look at a car on Monday (today). I emailed the lady with whom I had been corresponding with to ask some questions and asked that she let me know if the car was sold before I could make the drive out there. No response. I tried calling her before I left for my appointment, but she was not available so I was given another person. I asked her if the car was still available and she said yes. I had taken off work early, drove an hour and twenty minutes there only to be told the car was sold. It sure would have been if the initial lady I spoke with could have let me know, the lady I spoke with on the phone could have given me the correct information or the gentleman with whom I had the appoitment with could have picked up the phone and let me know this information before I wasted my vacation time, personal time and gas to drive two hours and forty minutes for nothing. That gentleman also made some other salesman give me the bad news instead of coming out to apologize himself. Poor customer service to say the least. PS. the car is still listed.

I had a fantastic experience at Russ Darrow. Our sales representative, Paul Zwick, was friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. He was never pushy and was very conscientious that we got a vehicle that was well suited to our needs. He never tried to push other vehicles on us and was very flexible in meeting with us. I never felt rushed or pressured any of the times that I dealt with Paul. The only negative that I can mention is that Paul did not share his Cheetos with us when we were clearly starving. I mean, we were really really hungry. But, that's ok, I don't like to share my food either. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and accommodating, they even let us bring our dog in to hang out while we did paperwork and research. Wonderful experience, would recommend checking them out.

If you are looking for a car at West Bend Russ Darrow ask for JOE to help you. I really thought he was great. He was honest, up front and very easy to talk to. 10 out of 10 he was great. Wasn't too thrilled about the finance guy but I guess they have to do their job too. All in all, excellent customer service from Joe. AND I got the most awesome car!!!

While the customer service we received was satisfactory, and we are pleased with our purchase, we did not appreciate receiving a call six days after the purchase requesting that we sign a Mandatory Binding Arbitration Agreement and that the paperwork could not be completed until we signed it. Although we were told that we could opt out, we would have had to write a separate letter and return it to the dealership to do so! We are very disappointed with the lack of customer concern and appreciation (for our business) shown by Russ Darrow Group, and we will not purchase any more vehicles from this corporation.

I bought a new 2013 Town-n-Country and have not been pleased with the amount of issues that I have had. For the amount of money I have spent it was definitely not worth the money. In addition, I did not care for the sales process as I did not get out of the dealership the day I bought my van until 11 pm. I had to wait at the dealership for 4 hours before everything was finalized and then they tried jamming the extended warranty down my throat. On top of all of that, I took my van in yesterday (Wednesday) for a bunch of warranty work and they told me they had to keep my van there while they wait for a part to be delivered which won't be there until Friday. So I asked for a loaner vehicle and they told me that Chrylers warranty policy does not offer loaner vehicles unless the vehicle is down for 3 or more days. What poor customer service that is!!! I will NEVER buy another vehicle from Russ Darrow.

I'm writing this review to warn customers about russ darrow west bend. My experience with them was a nightmare. They installed a computer in my chrysler 300m and after I had all these problems with my car it turned out they sold me a bad computer. They replaced the computer and when I picked the vehicle up my speedometer didn't work and my check engine light was on. Elliot the service manager told me the mechanic missed a step, I took the car back on December 19th and was never contacted, I had to call him and ask what's going on with my car and he said he was short a mechanic. Finally I went up to the dealer to see my car covered in snow on January 5th -18 below. I called him Monday and was told my car needed a battery. I just had one put in 2 years ago. I called corporate headquarters and they spoke with Elliot. He called me and said my car was done and then whispered to me don't bring your vehicle up here ever again.BEWARE !!!

My experience took forever and felt that it was a total run around with high pressure sales tactics. After what I thought an agreed upon price was reached it changed. Tried pushing the trucks on the lot instead of finding the one I was looking for. I ended up going to Plymouth, found the truck I wanted at a significantly better price and done in less than half the time I wasted at Russ Darrow.

Had a great experience buying from this dealership. Found a vehicle I was interested in on Cars.com, and came in the very next day. I had a trade-in, and had to 'work hard' to get a value that i though was fair, but I don't begrudge the dealer for attempting to make the maximum profit. At no time did I feel disrespected; I was treated well at every stage of the transaction. The vehicle in question had a minor repair to be made, and the repair was completed in prompt fashion at a later appointment, and I was given a loaner vehicle for the day (as promised by the salesperson at the time of the sale). The salesperson came to visit with me during that service visit and was very accommodating. The entire purchase experience was extremely pleasant, and I was genuinely impressed. Every staff member I dealt with was sharp and prompt. They return phone calls, and seem interested and engaged in what they are doing (surprisingly, this is not common among other employees I have dealt with at other dealerships). I love my truck, and will plan on returning in the future.

My experience with Chrysler Dodge Jeep in West Bend went downhill from the minute the test drive was done. I came back the following day to talk numbers and before I ever even went into an office, some of the service employees were outside moving my plates over to the vehicle I had test drove. The finance person was nice and thorough, and helped accomodate when he could, and I ended up buying. I drove off the lot and 2 blocks later the gas light came on.. they had given me the vehicle on empty. Two weeks after driving there were a few minor issues with the vehicle.. rattling in the upper council, a council light was out, and vehicle felt out of alignment, so I called up my salesperson describing the problems and he said to bring it in that Saturday morning, that he would put me in the books with the service department. I showed up to my "appointment" and my name wasn't on the books, and they were too busy so I had to return the following weekend. When I came back, they were going to charge me to even simply LOOK at the issues, and then of course, would charge also for any fixes made. I took that information to my salesperson in hopes he would clear it up with them, but after talking to them a bit, he confirmed there was nothing they could do without me having to pay. He said I bought the vehicle "as is" (mind you, NO PROBLEMS were disclosed to me at time of test drive or sale) and should expect minor problems with a used vehicle to come up. At this time I asked to speak to the manager, who had told me over email (I wrote to express my dissapointment in the sale/service I had gotten) that when I came in that day they'd check out the issues, clean up my vehicle nice and get me some gas. He was nice and tried to help me out, but was too busy to truly deal with me for any period of time since he was alone that day. He walked away assuring me he was going back to the service department to "see what he could do" and that's where it was left. I waited for half hour, in which time no one ever came back to explain what they were doing, but once my keys were given back to me I found out NO issues were dealt with or looked at. All they had done was clean it out (which is a free service anytime to anyone who buys a vehicle from them) and took it to put a quarter tank of gas in it. Definitely NOT the service I expected that day. When we got home, my husband actually fixed the squeeking with a quick nail to the council to tighten it to the ceiling... something they could have done and never even tried to attempt!! VERY dissapointed and will NEVER buy from this dealership again!
