The dealership went out of its way to find the color we wanted and brought it in from two states away. Our sales rep, Max Johnson made sure that everything was ready. I was shopping for a Jeep Wrangler around the Florida Panhandle for several weeks and found one that I thought was the best deal I was going to find, a 2012 Wrangler with 80,000 miles. But, then Robert sent me a video of a 2013 Wrangler with low mileage (28,000). Robert provided me a personalized video of the 2013 that clearly showed the vehicle to be in outstanding condition inside and out, well worth the trip to enterprise Alabama to check it out. I drove off the lot a proud owner of a Jeep wrangler a couple thousand $ cheaper then the 2012 wrangler, no hassles no pressure. We had been looking for a low mileage Miata for several months. When we saw a 2009 hardtop convertible with low mileage and at a very reasonable price at Sam Boswell we made the drive from Gulf Shores, Alabama to the Boswell dealership. When we got there we were surprised in that the car was in even better condition than we had expected. I went to the dealership to look at a car I had seen listed online. That particular car had just been sold (still on the lot). Our salesman Cory was extremely helpful in showing us some similar vehicles and giving us information about various year models. I was pleased that there was negotiation without pressure. Also, the finance department was helpful but not pressure based in there approach.

I had a great experience here even though I didn't want to have to buy a car! Cory Rucker turned a bad situation into good for me. He was friendly, professional and patient. Very knowledgeable and could answer all the questions I had. I didn't really know what I wanted but he asked questions and anticipated what I needed (and wanted) very easily. He ended up showing me a car I would have never picked for myself and I love it! It's perfect for me. The buying process went smoothly and I never once felt I was taken advantage of. Cory went out of his way to make sure the car was ready for me. He promised me that I'd leave with a smile on my face and he more than delivered that. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

The first time I went to this business many years ago (15-20 years), I spoke with one of the managers and asked him what incentives they had that would entice me to purchase a Honda over all the other auto dealers in the area. He told me they didn't have to do anything to bring in customers. it didn't matter if I bought one or not because there would be 10 people right behind me that would buy and they would not haggle at all. I left and went next door and bought one from another dealer. I have not returned to this business since. This week my wife and I decided to give them another chance. They were one of the few business that were open on Labor Day. The attitude and professionalism of the staff was night and day. They worked up a great price and we ended up leaving with a Honda CRV below Kelley Blue Book? value. It appeared the entire leadership focus changed to costumer satisfaction which earned my business.

Traded my 2010 4Runner for a 2013 Acura MDX. I live in Central Florida and really didn't want to drive to Alabama to buy a car! So Sam Boswell Honda had a courier meet me more than halfway to finalize the deal. This saved me a great deal of time. We worked things out over the phone and Josh Byal and Michael Lum made it happen. The courier was very nice too. I truly appreciate the dealership going out of its way to please me. My dealings with all the personnel I encountered at this dealership were a genuine pleasure. The auto was in excellent shape and all the data about it was presented in an enthusiastic, pleasant manner without side show hyping or pressuring an immediate decision. As a lawyer, I am a hard consumer to please! But I have been impressed with Sam Boswell. It is an honest dealer that offers great prices. I worked with my salesman, Robert, for over five weeks trying to find a preowned or new Odyssey, and he was very patient. I was also satisfied with the finance manager who provided tips on registering our new vehicle at the probate office and did not pressure us to buy an extended warranty. I found a pre-owned vehicle on the SBH website and called the next day. I was paired with Robert H. He was quick to set an appointment and had the vehicle ready for test drive. I had my six and four year olds with me. There was a children's area that allowed them to stay occupied while our transaction was taking place. This was a great feature. I stopped by on a Saturday with both of my children with me and was fortunate enough to get Keith as my salesman. I explained what I was looking for and my budget. I went to Sam Boswell because I wanted to do my shopping at home! I knew exactly what I was looking for and what I could spend! Justin L. was introduced to me as my salesman and he asked me a few questions and took me to the car I had asked about. He clearly explained some things to me about the car, let me test drive it and gave me all the figures I needed! I really felt Justin was upfront, honest, and didn't pressure me in anyway!! I liked that and drove away with the car! Thanks Justin!! Also had an issue with cleaning the seats but Justin sent his "detail" man to check it out. I showed him the spots and he took the car back and got them out. I did not get his name, but he was also very courteous and helpful! I owned a Honda Civic and this is my second one! Don't think I will ever own anything else! Also, had my old Honda serviced with Sam Boswell for 3 years and was never disappointed! Fast, friendly service! Thanks Sam Boswell!!

From the moment we entered the dealership we knew "service was their priority!" The showroom, desks, and lot were spotless, everyone was accommodating, warm and genuine. All our questions were answered in great detail, options explained, as well as extras provided by the dealership. Financial paperwork was fully explained and completed in record time! Justin and his trainee are number 1 in our book!!! They were personable, patient, knowledgeable------ helpful but not the least bit pushy.... They recommended an excellent place for lunch,and told us exactly when our car would be delivered. Yes, I wrote "delivered"..... to our home in Marianna. When they arrived with our Accord we were naturally excited and impressed with the accessories they had installed... MY grandson showed them one of our AQHA horses and our visit was enjoyable. As a buyer out of town, I was at the mercy of the salesperson for getting photos and information about the vehicle. Roger was extremely helpful and he even gave me his direct cell # to call me during off hours if I had any questions about the vehicle my husband and I were buying. He also went out to the lot multiple times to get additional pictures. I am walking away a very satisfied customer with my Dodge Journey. The 3,000 mile limited warranty comes with their used vehicles and the issue I came across was immediately addressed, I couldn't have asked for anything more. You won't beat the pricing or the customer service or even the 3,000 mile 3 month warranty that's offered on their used vehicles. Gives you reassurance after purchasing a used vehicle that you will be taken care of if any issues arise. In addition I called with a minor issue and was immediately told to bring the vehicle in the next day to be serviced at no charge. Most dealerships would have booked an appointment but Sam Boswell squeezed me right in.

Their ad specifically stated under the Vehicle Condition Section: "No known accidents" and "No known body work. We live in Birmingham and drove to Enterprise to purchase this car because it was a great deal and appeared to be a really nice Pathfinder. We arrived to the dealership and unfortunately it was raining. During inspection, I noticed some screws missing in the fender and asked if it had been wrecked. Their answer was "it has a clean Carfax". I should have pushed harder. Lesson learned. We bought the car and the next day, in the sunshine, I noticed the fender had a crease and was wavy. Not too big of a deal. I would take the car to a paint-less dent removal shop and have it massaged out. However, the shop owner advised that the fender had Bondo in it which means if you push the dent out, it can crack the Bondo and the whole fender would have to be repainted. Also, it appeared the entire front bumper had been repainted as well. Now I'm wondering, to what extent was the wreck? I found a receipt in the glove box left by the previous owner with her contact info on it. I decided to call. I assumed the previous owner wrecked it, had a cheap repair job done, and traded it in, right?? Wrong! She informed that it was wrecked when she traded it in and even sent me a picture of the damage at trade-in! So Sam Boswell Honda did have knowledge of the accident. Then they put it up for sale falsely advertising that there was "no known body work. Whats worse, they not only knew about the poor bodywork, they did the poor bodywork. I called and spoke to Josh Byal who seemed extremely embarrassed about the situation and wanted to help. He agreed to cancel the deal and allow me to return the car. I stated that it's a good car and what about fixing it? But fix it right. Josh said that was a possibility. Here's where it goes sour. The next day, I can't get a hold of Josh and get pushed to Jamie Christian who refuses the option to repair it because to repair it right would require replacing the fender and that would cost too much. My only option was to return it. He also stated that it was a good car and that we are too picky. What?! We are too picky! The more I think about his suggestion that we are too picky the more infuriated this makes me. Note they SPECIFICALLY stated on their ad "no known accidents" and "no known bodywork". If expecting a car dealership to not lie on their advertising is too picky, then yes, we are too picky. I think the majority of the population would be considered too picky too.Jaime agreed to send someone to pick it up, which was great, I didn't have to drive 3 hours back to Enterprise. However, we already spent money on this vehicle. We repaired a chip in the windshield, had the missing screws and other parts replaced, replaced a broken visor, purchased an AutoCheck report to validate the Carfax report they gave to me, and bought a $20 bottle of special electric power steering fluid because the power steering was extremely loud and the reservoir was dry. All in, we spent about $120 out of pocket specifically for this car. Plus, the gas to drive from Birmingham to Enterprise and back to get the car. Not to mention how much time we spent. They refused to reimburse us for any of these expenses.In addition, we had a car at another dealership in mind but decided to buy from Sam Boswell because the price was better, and it was closer. Well, unfortunately by the time we returned this car, the other one was sold. Now the end of the year deals are gone, and the only comparable cars are $3k - $4k more than what we could have gotten before the New Year. We wasted our time and money dealing with this dealership.

My wife and son purchased a truck from them and they refused to issue a temporary tag for the vehicle and when my son went to the Leon County Florida Tax Collector's office to transfer the tag from his other truck he was told it could take Alabama a month to have the paperwork transferred to Florida and that he could not transfer his tag to the vehicle he purchased from Sam Boswell until that takes place and shouldn't even be driving the truck. No one at the dealership informed either my wife or my son of this till after the purchase was completed. So much for honest disclosure. Plus it was a bait and switch deal also.

He felt he could make a deal and he didn't stop until we signed the papers on our new Honda Odyssey. After weeks off other dealerships messing with our credit and just pushing us around. On August 5, 2015 our 2015 Honda Odyssey miraculously survived a potential accident on Ross Clark Circle in Dothan, AL. The details of that near miss were submitted yesterday. During a visit with the service department, an alignment checkup was recommended based upon the abrupt maneuvering and sliding that occurred. The alignment was checked and corrections were necessary. I took my kids to an outdoor movie at a Relay-for-Life event at Sam Boswell Honda where I met salesman Christopher Campbell. After four years of casually searching and looking at new and used cars, Christopher Campbell finally made the sale with the new 2016 Honda HR-V. Chris hung with me through all of that time with no pressure and no gimmicks. When the HR-V was slated to be released, he knew this was the car for me; and, he was right. I picked up my HR-V yesterday and am excited to be driving it today. Better than the car, however, was the customer service. This was, by far, the easiest car purchase that I have ever made on-site with a dealer. (I did once purchase a car over the Internet and have it delivered to my door the next morning -- but that's the exception to the rule.) Christopher always remembered who I was, by name even, during my extended search and most often was available on the lot whenever I had questions or wanted to test drive a car. He never got frustrated when I did not buy immediately and he did not try to strong arm me into a purchase. Chris can tell you that many of his customers are repeat customers. I know why. Every one else at Sam Boswell Honda was also friendly and helpful. The HR-V? Can't wait to see how well it meets the many needs that I have from business travel and toting lots of A/V equipment to running with kids to family trips. I have a strong feeling that it is going to fare very well!

I was interested in a particular used car that I saw was located on their lot through their web site. I emailed the address suggested and got a quick response from a salesman, who was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, but not pushy or overbearing (Jody). We also talked over the phone. I never actually visited the dealership because it was few hours away. Although I ended up not purchasing a vehicle from this dealership because we decided to wait a couple of years before buying, I would definitely seriously consider driving the distance to work with Jody to purchase a vehicle.

I traded in a 2011 Tahoe for a 2013 Armada. I live in Fl and did the deal over the phone and had the vehicle delivered to me. Included in the quote out the door price I was told it included title and tag fees. Stewart also said the vehicle would be delivered with a full tank of fuel and two working key fobs. When the vehicle arrived to me the dealership had their delivery driver have the paperwork ready for me to sign and switch cars. The paperwork had the title fee scratched out and nothing about transferring the tag from the Tahoe to the Armada. When I asked that night about how I was suppose to drive the new vehicle around they told me just to drive around without a tag or temporary tag and if I got pulled over just show the paperwork and I'd be fine. I asked them why they didn't do the paperwork for my tag transfer and they said because they haven't got paid by my bank and was holding the title until I they got the funds from the bank. I was stuck without a vehicle from Monday when they delivered the car until Friday when my bank got me a temp tag. My bank also had to do all the tag paperwork which cost me nearly $400 out of pocket that I wasn't expecting to pay and was told was included in the "out the door price" as all dealerships do. The vehicle also came with two key fobs and only one worked. When I told them about the issue they said oh well it's your problem now. I also requested a copy of the carfax and the repair order and Robert said he would send me a copy and has failed to do so! This dealership is awful and has bad business practices. I don't see how they can continue to conduct business unethically!!

As a very well versed car buyer, this was my 39th vehicle. Sam Boswell has something most dealers miss the mark on, CUSTOMER SERVICE. I contacted Chris Campbell about buying an Accord or a CRV. I told him I do not play games with numbers and will walk away in a second. He was nothing but professional and answered every question with a smile and right away (even 10:30pm from his home). Every conversation was ended with "Thank You for the opportunity" When I decided to drive the 2.5 hrs from home to look at the vehicles, he had them out front waiting and was very helpful. My wife and I drove both and chose the CRV. We were greeted and again, thanked for the opportunity by the sales manger Mike. This was no typical sales team. I needed to make a change to my purchase paperwork that was an error on my part and they sent a driver 2.5hrs from there dealership for me to sign the change.No dealer I have dealt with in over 15 new car purchases has ever impressed me this much. I shopped other dealers for this purchase and Sam Boswell beat all others on price, respect and no sales pressure. Definitely worth the 2.5hr drive. AAA CUSTOMER SERVICE

I went to 3 other dealers in the area and was not impressed with the way they treated people, on recommendation from a friend I went to Sam Boswell. Upon arrival I was met by Kelly Marsh a salesperson, I explained to her what I wanted and she went to work. I expected to spend the next 4 hours getting the run around - didn't happen, she got me a super deal on my trade-in and a smoking deal on a new Civic for my wife, since our purchase we have been back to the dealership several times for car wash and regular scheduled maintenance and have been greeted by name every time by Kelly. I will give all of my business to her from now on and have sent several friends there to purchase vehicles. Overall I am 100% satisfied with my experience and would recommend them to anyone who wants a hassle free car buying experience.

After owning 3 hondas in the past this is the worst yet!!! Ive had issues with my 2013 honda civic since 3 wks after buying it brand new!Service dept claims the noise im hearing is normal, the noise didnt start until 3wks after having the car and now it louder than it was when it started! Ive tried several times to contact the service mgr but hes never in the office or never returns calls and I live 50+ miles from the dealership and refuse to drive that far and him not be there!

First bad Honda I've ever owned out of 5 I've own. Bought a New Honda Accord in October 2013 and it is a Lemon. Gas mileage is excellent, 26 - 28 local driving, 30-33 Freeway. Only good thing I can say about it. NAVI system sucks freezes for hundreds of miles, if you trust it you are guaranteed to get lost. If you are looking for a street or Hwy forget it, you won't find it with this NAV. Also, my wife has got lost several times trying to find locations with the NAV. I drove her to the Atlanta International airport and it took us into the middle of the city 16 miles North of the airport, we stopped to get directions 3 times and almost missed her plane. It could not locate the Atlanta International airport; totally unreliable and wife don't trust the car so she uses out other car. I bought a Garmin ($140) and sit it in front of the NAV window (it works), never freezes and never get lost anymore. The Bluetooth Hands-free phone system sucks! Voice has never worked, incoming calls are Intermittent, sometimes works, most time it don't; to call out still have to dial it from the cell phone. Several requests to meet with the owner but only allowed talking with one of the supervisors. Only recommendation was to switch carriers to ATT. Our cells work fine with our current carrier; its the hands free audio system that doesn't work.When Sam ran this dealership the service I got there on 3 Hondas was good, honest and reliable and it was not a problem to get a meeting with him if you had a problem of a serious nature like this. In my opinion, since 2012 this dealership has deteriorated to a standard that I can no longer trust on anything. And if I can get rid of this Lemon then Ill never buy another Honda. I have it up for sale for past 4 months for $3500 below cost. If I cant dump it then I will have to trade it on something reliable and take my loses. I filed a complaint under the Alabama Lemon Law only to be told by someone at Honda Motor Company in California that they would not honor that law. Why is the owner not willing to meet with a customer that has a serious problem with a car that was purchased from this dealership???

We were pleasantly surprised to discover how easy, quick and painless our visit to the finance office turned out to be. The agreed upon price seemed fair and our overall experience was very good. Upon initial contact, the sales rep Mitch Olson was energetic in locating and showing the two vehicles I had expressed an interest in. The second one, a new item, was listed on the dealer's web site but the sales manager told the salesman they did not have the vehicle. When I called the information up on the dealer's computer, the sales rep located the vehicle and proceeded to demonstrate its features. This subsequently led to the sale. The dealer's employees seemed cheerful and comfortable in their jobs which would indicate to me that management takes an interest in the employees beyond just making a sale. I would not hesitate to recommend the dealership to others.

The buying experience was very pleasant compared to most. The salesman was knowledgable about the product and was receptive to what we wanted. There were no high pressure sales techniques and they worked with us to get the financing arranged to where we felt comfortable. Overall a nice pleasant experience. At first I was not going to purchase because she didn't return my call the first day. Then when she called the next day, it was well worth my while. I was looking all over Birmingham for a price that I could work within the budget that I wanted. When she needed, she referred to her supervisor for further assistance. If I ever buy another Honda, Boswell Honda will be my first call because of their willingness to assist. I am loyal to those that are willing to work with me and because they were willing, they will have first priority for future dealing with me even though it is a 3 and 1/2 hour drive for me. I just wish they had a shirt with Honda and the dealership name so that I could flaunt it to the dealer that I had problems with. So if there is a shirt available after reading my review, please provide because it is good advertisement for happy customers.

I have been using a different dealership for my service. until last month when that dealership could not work me in for an oil change.upon calling Sam boswell Honda service department I was told to come in and they would do my oil change that day....best change I have ever made!!!! Carrie Williams and Matthew Gasko are the best employees at any service department that I have visited. They are professional and courtious. Every thing they did that day was with friendleyness and not only did I get great service, they also washed my CRV. Believe me I will keep using there service department.

I worked with John Seals and he was a very helpful and professional employee. He was totally willing to work within our budget and was very informative on the vehicles we were interested in. We located a used 2011 Nissan Rogue through AutoTrader at Sam Boswell Honda. The quality and number of pictures provided allowed us to make an informed decision before traveling the 130 miles to take a test drive. The car was exactly as advertised and we felt the price was excellent. Josh was extremely knowledgable about the car's safety features, which was very important to us. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. We feel that it was well worth the trip to Enterprise for this purchase.

I am in the Army stationed at Fort Rucker and am suffering from a Traumatic Brain Injury. I recently needed to buy a new car to replace an older gas guzzler and I wanted a new Honda Civic. After shopping around Alabama and Florida, I started asking questions about Sam Boswell. I found many folks have had great buying and service experiences with Sam Boswell Honda since Oneal Boswell took over managing the dealership in 2008. My experience was the very best car buying processes I have ever had in 20 years of buying vehicles. None of the games, just up front, honest and sincere people. I had been to two other dealerships, a Honda and a Mazda dealer outside of Enterprise, and I was appalled at how people will take advantage of someone like me with a brain injury. Sam Boswell Honda didn't try to take advantage of me and in fact, went out of their way and stayed way past closing time answering all of my questions and then, stayed open even later so my wife could get there and make sure I had done all the research properly. She and I were both amazed to see how honest, tremendously reasonable and fair the folks at this dealer are. Now that a month has passed, I do not find myself with buyers remorse. If you need a good dealership that treats you with respect, is disabled friendly and is military friendly, look no further.
