Chen was respectful and didn't pressure us into anything. After I initially test drove a non-hybrid, I wanted my partner to do a test drive as well. Chen had his team get the hybrid we wanted out of the lot and cleaned it before my partner came to test drive, which was a nice touch. We ended up buying that exact vehicle and are happy so far with it! We would definitely recommend San Leandro Hyundai for any future purchases or maintenance.

I came in about a month ago to have my car serviced. Everyone was pretty helpful and attentive to my needs. As I was being rung up for my total, Nicole helped me out and said they would offer me a complimentary Lyft ride back home. I was waiting through the day, but my car wasn’t ready by the time they closed. I came in the next morning and Nicole helped me out as much as she could and apologized. She had excellent customer service!!! Thank you Nicole!!! :)

I had my Elantra gt 2013 on this dealership for 2 recalls and after a week my engine light went on.. bring to my mechanic of trust and the engine is pretty much gone .. called the dealership and tried to explain the situation and they want to charge me $250/hr to find out what happened ? I'm never ever bringing my car back to this dealership or buying Hyundai again. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves .. trash dealership

Being a foreign national, buying a car was a little more challenging. Everybody did their best to help me out. Highly competent and supportive staff and a great manager. Pricing was more than fair. Buy your car here! Simple as that.

If I could do 0 stars I would. I have been to many diff Hyundai service shops as unfortunately they keep closing in the Bay Area but i always have the best experience. Santa Clara has been my go to and they’re great however today I decided to visit San Leandro as it’s actually closer ! I was so excited. but then it all crashed and burned. I waited 4 hours with an appointment and was told the tech had no even started on my car as they were backed up? Sorry what? I had an appointment and was told at check in it would be max 3 hours. How is it 4 hours in that my car hasn’t been touched ? I went in for a light that was on . That’s it! And received a call 1 hour after appointment verifying the work they’d be doing diagnosing the light. I got the run around with the front desk Yusuf. No straight answers. Ultimately he advised I take my car home as it’s been 4 hours. My day has been wasted and he cannot give me a clear estimated time of when the work will be completed ???? I’m at a loss for words at the service. To top it off they hand me my car with the wrong keys. Turns out my car had been assigned two keys? That seems safe right? SCARY! I seriously usually have the best experience. You have been warned. Go to ANY other Hyundai service dealership and save yourself the headache and half a day wasted. So disappointed.
