The only experience to date with this dealership is the purchase of a 2016 CRV which was handled entirely by phone. The dealership was highly recommended by a friend and I came to understand why he had such a positive view. There was no pressure selling just tried to provide me with the vehicle which I was seeking. I was glad that I handled via phone since their showroom was under major construction to point of need to be closed, but the attitude of the staff help one get pass the mess when I came to pickup the vehicle..Lastly, I found the staff(Cheek, Black, to be customer oriented and did not waste my time..

The salesman I dealt with, Philip, from Sanford Honda was very friendly and easy to work with. After I purchased the car and drove home, I realized I forgot my EZ pass on the dash. Phil mailed it to me. Great customer service overall. The price I got on my car was excellent and they were willing to compromise with me on the trade-in value of my old car too. Before I drove off the lot they cleaned it inside and out again just to be sure it was spotless. My only issue would be the state of the facilities. They were a little run down but I believe they were undergoing renovations at the time so they should be better now.

At my husband's suggestion, I bought my new Honda CRV-EXL without his presence. My perceived experience is that a woman has to have a man with her, so that she doesn't get taken advantage of when buying a car. I felt very comfortable with the process from start to finish at Sanford Honda (not so much at another Honda dealership). Ronnie Sasser was not only friendly and respectful, but very knowledgable and helpful. He listened to me and what I was expecting to get from my trade-in and for what I was willing to pay for a new vehicle. He demonstrated the CRV and all the features it has to offer (again, not so much at another dealership). I felt very confident in my purchase and am happy I drove the extra miles to go to Sanford. This was a very good experience for me.

Very happy with the buying process at Sanford Honda. My sales rep, Jerrod, was knowledgeable, relaxed, and very helpful. Was not overly pushy at all (something I dread in car salesman). He worked with us through the process of letting us discover the car that would work for us (a 2015 CRV EX - a fantastic car). Reached a great deal on the price, plus they offer free oil change and car wash for life for new car purchases, which is pretty awesome. Very happy and would recommend to others.

Sanford Honda had the best deal on a brand new Honda Pilot and their Internet sales manager was responsive with my questions and negotiations. It was an easy decision to work with the dealership. The vehicle was washed and ready to go when we arrived, and we were greeted outside by their on-site sales rep. We were in and out of the dealership within an hour. No pressure on sales or financing transaction. Very professional. It was worth the drive to get to Sanford and work with them.

I drove all the way from north Durham County to Sanford to buy a gently used Honda CR-V. From past experience, I've learned to avoid all the dealerships in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill -- price and communication with staff are much better outside the Triangle area. On the web, I looked through Sanford Honda's used car inventory and found a couple of cars that were interesting. Philip S. was very knowledgeable and described the CR-V features thoroughly. This was important since I was going from being familiar with old Honda technology to 2013 features. The fellow in Finance Dept. also worked with me to allow time for transfer of funds. All in all, the buying experience was very good and I'm very satisfied with the CR-V.

From the moment my husband and I walked in, we were treated as if we weren't welcome. There was a lot of hypocrisy And A lot of bad attitudes From everyone except Tim, the manager. The only reason I chose to buy from Sandford Honda was because I fell in love with the Odyssey I test drove. We feel we would have been a lot happier and probably better off now in hein sight if we had went somewhere else. I will not be buying again from this dealership.

I appreciate the no hassle while looking at the different SUV on the lot. The salesperson was outside but not underfoot. When I needed a question answered he came over and answered the question and also showed me a few tips about the vehicle. The finance officer was willing to go to the extreme to get my payments where I would not be under excessive stress since I am undergoing chemo treatments. She totally understood and was very, very helpful. So my car buying experience was very, very good. Had a friend who recommended Sanford Honda dealership and she said that she had a very good experience with them and they were always on top of anything that needed repaired too. I am enjoying driving our Honda CR-V. I am thankful that God allowed us to purchase an SUV for me to drive.

My car buying experience at Sandord Honda was the best I have ever experienced. I have purchased 7 new cars prior to this and typically the experience goes south (as it did at Bryant Honda who was unwilling to budge on price) when it comes to the price I will pay. I was straight forward at Sanford Honda about what I would pay (after lots of research) and very specific as that I did not want to play the negoitiating game. To my surprise they gave me one counter offer. I counter offered and the deal was done. I had financing before I went to the dealer and knew the pricing I was willing to pay. Mr. Sasser was very pleasant to deal with and was not pushy at all. Everyone there was so polite it was hard to try and be firm on the price I was willing to pay. I strongly recommend driving from Fayetteville or the Triangle to Sanford Honda as it will be worth your time. The selection of cars is not the largest so if you know a specific color or options then call to see if the have it in stock.

My first visit to Sanford Honda. Chris took good care of me and made sure he understood the specifics of the work I wanted done - airbag recall, oil change, noise when turning. He suggested transmission service, brake fluid flush/replace, and rear differential (only suggested this after confirming suspicions) service. With 98,000 miles, the Element was happy to get the attention and the mysterious noise has gone away. Will definitely return for service work when needed.

Went in looking for a used car. They couldn't work out a deal that I wanted with a used car, so as I was about to leave, they came up with the deal I wanted with a new Civic. Nice car, I fell in love. Then we came back, agreed on the price, and I waited. And waited. Three hours spent doing literally nothing as they were talking amongst themselves. Come to find out they had made a $5,000 "error" and wanted me to finance a large sum for the car. Needless to say, I told them where to shove their offer and left. The blow dryers in the bathrooms there are awesome, however. I would visit those bathrooms again.

The sales dept. is excellent but the service dept. especially the quick lube is terrible. They will use aftermarket oil filters and other aftermarket parts. I mean it is a HONDA dealership. Who wants a cheap oil filter on a great car. I had to make four trips just to have two door handles replaced due to a failure to have the two parts there when service was scheduled. Also make sure you check your oil after service to make sure it was actually changed.

I purchased a 2006 F-150 from Sanford Honda about 2 months ago. Since purchasing it, I have had nothing but problems. I have had to put new brakes and rotors on it, It has a cracked exhaust manifold, and the rear axle pinion seal is blown. All of these problems happened soon after purchasing the vehicle. I am very disappointed that Sanford Honda would sell me a vehicle of such terrible quality, and had to have known that it had problems. It seems like every week I find a new problem, and I will never purchase or recommend someone purchase a vehicle at this dealership again.
