I've come to know your dealership since I now have a Ram for a work truck. When I decided to purchase a new vehicle I gave you guys a shot. I was lucky enough to get Matt Gingrich. Matt was patient and answered all my questions. He was willing to go on prepurchase drives, we did a few and even ran out of gas. It was a good thing, we found out there's a special spout for that. I came in a little unsure on what I could get and was very pleased to find out that I could get not only something nice but exactly what I had wanted. I left with a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude edition, which was fully loaded. I was a little indecisive and Jason was very patient and helpful. The haggling part of the sale was almost nonexistent and I spent more time trying to find the right vehicle vs trying to get them to fit my price range. My family and I are very happy and our only regret is that we didn't go there sooner.

Justin Good is the best of the best. He took the time to explain all of the features of my new 2016 Durango to me, which has been my favorite car that I have bought from Savage 61 so far. I have been buying cars here for for years, and always get top dollar for my trade ins. I came in to Savage 61 several months ago to look at Dodge Chargers. I was not bombarded as soon as I got there like so many other dealers do, so right away I'm thinking, I like this place already. After I was done browsing and ready to talk to someone, I met Matt Gingrich. What a great guy! I had a lot of questions and Matt either already knew the answer, or he went and got me the answer, he did not leave me guessing. He was very patient with me, my wife and teenage kids. So now we're done for the day and get his business card and give him my phone number. The next step is for me to bring in my trade for evaluation the next Saturday. Well things didn't work out for us to make it in on Saturday...we were hit with one of those unforeseen life events that ends up changing the norm and throwing a wrench into your plans. Months pass and you know what was nice, Matt gave me one courtesy call, which is what I'd expect, but never once bugged me. Now we are finally ready to get back into trying to procure a new 2016 Hellcat Charger. My son and I were in the area after his baseball game so we stopped in on Saturday after closing and saw the one, yes the Go Mango one! We are looking in the window at it, trying to take pictures to show my wife, when Tim, who was still there, opened the door for us so we could take better pictures and get a first hand look. You know, that's awesome, he didn't have to do that. We talked for about fifteen minutes, he wasn't hurrying me up and answered all my questions. I said I would be back with my wife another day. Came back, was offered a great price that I did not have to haggle over, was offered a better financing rate than my own financial institution could offer, was offered lunch while the paperwork was being done, was the greatest car buying experience of our lives! This was my first true experience going to a dealership and I was very impressed. I came with what I wanted in mind and Tom did not try to deter me from it at all. He showed me all the options, listened to what I wanted and what I did not want and directed me in the right direction. Tom explained everything to me clearly and made sure I understood. Tom and Chris made sure we were aware of all the different payment options we had available as well. When we finally came back in to purchase the Durango we had to bring our toddler daughter with. I went into Savage 61 on 8/2916 I was looking for a new truck to buy. I walked into the showroom and waited for someone not to be busy someone asked me what they could do for me and I told them I would like to talk to a salesman about a new ram truck. A min later a salesmen came over and introduced himself to me as Bob and asked what he could do for me. I told him im looking to buy a new truck. so he took me down to the truck lot and asked if I see any one I like. I looked around for a bit at some that said forget the sticker price we r willing to deal. I picked out a silver one with black trim that looked really nice. I told Bob this one hear and he went and got the keys. During the test drive I told bob I was waiting on money from my 401 and I looked at Ford and Chevy. Bob asked what I thought of the Ram. I like it. So we got back and went to his desk and worked some numbers. I liked what he offered. I went to leave and he asked where r u going. I said well i like the truck but it will be a few days before I have the money. He than asked me do I really like that truck and I said yes. he than said well if u like it that much u r going to drive it home tonight. I thought he was joking with me. he then got started on the paper work me and my dad singed every thing and I drove home with a beautiful truck. We drove a little over an hour to look at some Promaster inventory. I brought my children along. We arrived to a BBQ and DJ playing music. The dealership was very busy and I thought OMG we arrived at a bad time. Robert was dealing with another customer and asked me if I could wait a few minutes. I am glad we decided to wait. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. He was also very accommodating of my children. He presented us very good deals on two different options. I informed him I would have to talk it over with my wife. He was understanding and didn't try any high pressure tactics to try to force the sale before I left. He followed up the next day and didn't lead with "Did you talk to your wife" like many other dealers did He asked me if I had any other questions on the vehicles he showed me. I came in just before closing time with the intention of scheduling an appointment for another day but Bob took care of me right away. We have been told by numerous dealerships to "call every week and maybe we can get you in". Our car had a factory recall for the key fob and starter. It was starting to break down and leave my wife and daughters stranded. Brian Krantz in service was honestly...awesome. He helped me, listened to my "plight" and helped me out. I went in to get service done on my vehicle the writer at the service desk Lenny was pleasant and helped me out right away, however, as I'm sitting in the waiting area I hear nothing but loud laughter and carrying on from the express desk. I saw the express writer and some techs just hanging out, talking, and acting as if they were anywhere else but work. It didn't seem like a professional environment it looked more like a hangout spot, and it looks like they do not take what they do serious. I don't feel comfortable taking my vehicle nor do I feel comfortable referring anyone else after seeing techs just hang out with writers being obnoxious and getting nothing done for hours on end (as I was there for about an hour and they were already there doing nothing since before I had arrived and stayed there until my vehicle finished getting serviced). I will not be returning for service for all I know they are as careless in the shop as they are in the lobby.

If you have negative equity in your vehicle DO NOT COME HERE. They will string you along and tell you want you want to hear and then not return your phone calls until you finally hear, Sorry we cannot do anything due to your negative equity.They strung me along for 2 weeks telling me I had two approvals and to pick which vehicle I wanted.Finally after phone tag for two weeks they told me they couldnt do anything. Dont waste your time here. The customer service is horrilbe. They are out to look for the easiest purchase and approvals.

I was impressed with Kevin's sales approach from the start. He saw my wife and I walking the lot but gave us a few minutes to look around before approaching us. He took us to the particular vehicle we were looking for and didn't try to sell us anything else. My wife found the vehicle she was looking for (Pacifica limited) and then so did I (Ram 1500 Laramie). All services at the dealership were handled professionally and friendly. I was looking for a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica limited and my husband wanted a 2016 Ram 1500 Laramie. He took us to the exact vehicles and knew everything they were equipped with as well. He was able to answer all of our questions. He wasn't pushing us to buy them or make a decision. He gave us all the time we wanted to check them out and discuss everything. We test drove vehicles at about 9 different dealerships to drive models including the Ford Explorer, Ford Edge, BMW X5, Volvo XC90, Range Rover, GMC Acadia, Lexus RX, Acura MDX, Nissan Pathfinder and Buick Enclave. My husband and I spent about 2 months of extensive research and test drives to find the right Make and Model of SUV for our family.Our goal was to find a luxury SUV that we would be happy driving for 5+ years. We ended up behind the wheel of CPO 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland from Savage 61 after having driven the vehicle 2 weeks prior.Tom Satterfield was not the typical salesman we expected or experienced at the other dealerships. We felt no pressure to buy. He was informative of the vehicles' features, informative of the brand, the warranty, and led us in the direction best for us. One downfall is that the dealership did email us too much - I would recommend to not inquire thru the website or the online chat. I just had the best experience buying my 2nd jeep from Marty. I had a 2014 Jeep Rubicon which I totally loved. With some major changes coming in the near future I needed to adjust my budget to free up more money . I explained my situation to Marty . I explained a few things I was used to and that I like having the open air . Being as inhale mom I was unable to take my removable top off the Rubicon. I only ever got it off 3 times . Marty considered that I needed a lower payment but what I liked . We walked around the lot and looked at my options .at one point he said I wanna show you something we have up front that I think will be perfect for you . He was exactly right . There are 2 removable panels that I can remove myself , easily , on top . He knows his inventory and with all of my needs considered we found the perfect choice for me . From the second I walked on the lot at 5:30 on a Saturday, to the minute I left Monday at 9pm. I was completly satisfied above any expectations. Jose was leaving when I came to save just to look around. He came to me and offered to sit down n talk. Spent two hours with me without any frustration or desire to push us out the door. We went on a Saturday, which from my experience at other dealerships is a day that typically is hard to get a salesman to talk to you. That was not the case here. We dealt with Bob Care, who was very polite, and accomodating. He was not pushy, and was a pleasure to deal with. After a week of considering our options, We returned the following Saturday and worked out a deal that we are all happy with. The purchase process went smoothly and everyone was pleasant to deal with. They were able to prep our new wrangler and had it ready to drive home by the time we had the papers signed. I just purchased my third truck in 26 years. Thanks to the Savage 61 dealership and in particular the salesman, Jason Schappell, it was the best buying experience I ever had, truck or car. I began my search at another authorized Ram dealership and was dismayed at the low trade in offer they made me for my 2004 Ram 2500 as well as all the late or unreturned calls from the sales agent there. I complained to a friend who urged me, based on his experience, to try Savage 61. How right my friend was! I made an appointment and was greeted by the manager who was obviously pleased to see me. He introduced me to Jason Schappell. Having had such a recent bad experience trying to buy a Ram, I was ready for anything. Jason immediately put both me and my wife at ease and showed that this would not be a high pressure or unfair experience. He had a mechanic check out my old Ram on the spot and after a very brief consultation with his boss made me a trade in offer $7000 higher than the other dealer without me "spilling the beans" about them. Jason then went through all the options we wanted. At the start of my search I thought I might able to afford a Longhorn, but with all the incentives and the increased trade in value we found I could afford a Limited! That is what I am driving now, and I love it. What a beauty! I am telling anyone who wants to know what a great dealership Savage 61 is, and to be sure to ask for Jason if they need a new Dodge vehicle. I needed to convert from a hard top to a soft top and could not do it myself. Justin came to my house and spent 3 hours of him personal time to help me! I would reccomend him to anyone!

Had a 2012 Focus with 105K miles on it, owing about $6,600. Visited the Subaru dealership closest to my home and was told that I couldn't even get into a used, one year newer Subaru. Left the dealership upset, but knew I would continue to look. Just so happened to be on Route 61 with my son, and decided to stop at Savage 61. Kevin met us in the parking lot as we were looking at a few of the vehicles in the lot. Right away he made us feel at home and at ease. Within a matter of about 30 minutes he gave me the sense that this dealership would be able to make things work, and also help me continue to build my credit. We came in to Savage 61 shopping for a new van to expand our fleet. We knew the style of van that we wanted, but we needed a really good price. We test drove the vehicle when the commercial sales rep was out taking care of another customer. Jose Maradey of the savage team jumped in to make sure we were able to drive the van and ask any questions. Great teamwork with the staff at Savage 61. Willing to go the extra mile even though it may not be their department that gets the sale. We were impressed. Bob Care was there to greet us when we returned from the test drive. He went out of his way to get me all the vehicles specs, and other important information about the van. This was important, so that we knew the van would meet our needs. We worked with Tim Profit on getting a price that we couldn't refuse. After receiving the price we were comfortable with, we set out to purchase the van. I believe experience is valuable. To be fair, I must inform you that this is only my second time going through the "new vehicle" shopping exprience. My first experience was terrible. Unlike that experience, at this dealership I didn't feel pushed to buy. Also, the salesman showed me multiple vehicles based on what I was interested in (RAM 1500) to assist me in valuating which options/style I wanted. Also, knowledge of the products was excellent. The ability to explain so I understand how to properly operate and take care of my new vehicle. One word to describe my experience with the salesperson is comfortable. In my opinion that is a great feeling to have when you are purchasing something on a large scale such as a vehicle. I also have to mention everyone else involved from management to the detailers. I made this team aware that I had an appointment and needed this transaction accelerated. Everyone came together and got the vehicle ready without cutting any corners. Finally, let's talk about money. A new vehicle purchase can be overwhelming, or you want one that is out of your price range. This dealership gave me a great deal for my trade in vehicle and also took my Veterans status into account. This dealership blew the last one out of the water as far as service. Since I honestly can't imagine a better experience, 5 STARS!

Buyers beware of buying a car at Savage 61. Went to buy a brand new car at Savage 61 and the secretary provided false information over the phone about the current promotions. After wasting over 2 hours at the car dealer, our sales representative did not want to give us the promotion that the secretary provided. Long story, after getting the manager involved and replaying back the phone conversation, the manager gave us the deal that the secretary provided. Our sales representative was Justin Good and was very unprofessional and constantly throwing in my husbands and my face that we "got a good deal" and was negative to us the entire time we were buying a car. Not to mention, Savage 61 was giving away free Target cards in you purchased a new car. When asked about a Target card, Justin told us again" we got a good deal." After we got into our brand new car, the Inside was dirty from the service department who claim they cleaned the brand new car. Justin also talks badly about the service department and other employees to us when we were buying the new car which is unprofessional as well. Justin never went over our new car and showed us the controls and options. We also found a knick on the console of a BRAND new car & had to fight to get fixed. I took the car not even a week later and Savage 61 gave me a dirty, smoke smelling, rental with NO gas in the car!! When I went to tell Justin about the car having NO gas, he told me " well your not going far, right?" Not to mention, the rental car wa so difficult to see out of because Savage 61 places obnoxious Savage 61 banners on the front and back of their rentals and makes it difficult seeing to drive and back up. Justin is very unprofessional, rude and should not have a job working at Savage 61. We talked to the manager there about Justin's attitude and how he treated us, and they claim they talked to him. Justin never apologized for his actions and ignored us when we returned the rental. The staff did not even acknowledge us when returning the rental. We talked to a manager and the manager did not see this as a big deal. We would never recommed Savage 61 to anyone.

I went to the dealer to check out a used Hyundai Elantra. My expectations were not high, since my credit wasn't the greatest. I bought a new Dodge Dart! The experience was quick and painless. Luis Grullon was very friendly and knowledgeable. I went back to the dealer 3 days later to have the inspection updated and was surprised how courteous the staff was. I spent over half an hour talking with Luis about sports and other topics while waiting. The Dart is a great car and would recommend it and 61 Dodge to all my friends.

Internet rep coaxed me into coming in for blowout end of month price that the manager was personally handling. Got there at my scheduled time, manager knew nothing about it and passed me to two different sales people. End result was the great price on the new jeep was $6000 higher than other dealers I visited and they also low balled my trades. Complaints to the dealer have provided no return calls.natasha was the main point of contact who promised the world and delivered nothing.

I contacted the dealership by email on 12/13/2015 to inquire about a 2015 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel. Jessica and Natasha responded to my email early the next day. They quoted me a great price, and I scheduled a visit for 12/15/15. When I walked in the dealership on 12/15/2015 Justin met me at the door. He was very friendly, easy going, and professional. He showed me a couple vehicles and then took me on a test drive. I was impressed by his level of knowledge about the Ram 1500. He was able to answer all of my questions, and he demonstrated many of the features of the vehicle. After the test drive we met with Chris Zepiora. We talked numbers for my trade as well as the price for the Ram 1500. The offer was fair, but I wanted to test drive a GMC Canyon before I made my final decision.I contacted Justin by email the next day. After some negotiating with Chris we were able to agree on a final price. We also agreed on a 9:30 am delivery the next morning. When I arrived at the dealership the next day the vehicle was ready and waiting for me. Justin and I talked for a few minutes while I waited for the finance manager. It took about 30-45 minutes to work out a mutually agreeable price for GAP Insurance and an Extended Warranty with Chris Fox, but once again I received a great price! After signing papers Justin walked me to the truck and asked if I had any questions about the vehicle. Because he had done such a great job during the Test Drive I didn't have any questions.Overall I had a great experience at Savage 61. Everybody I worked with was fantastic. Now I know why they are ranked the # 1 Dodge Dealer in the U.S. Great service and friendly employees. I was treated with respect and everybody was very honest and straightforward with me. I would highly recommend Savage 61 and Justin Whitman in particular. If you want to be treated fairly, have a great selection of vehicles to choose from, and you want the best price visit Justin at Savage 61!

My husband and I had a fantastic experience at the dealership. We just found out the day prior that my husband's old used truck was dying and not worth saving so we were on a hunt for a reasonable replacement. Jose Maradey met us right away and helped us find what we were looking for. The price offered to us was great and we ended up going home with a brand new Jeep Patriot! The length that Jose Maradey will go for his costumers is almost rediculos. I had a very unique situation that I never want to get into again and Jose did everything to get me out of it and into a problem free NEW jeep. The whole team had to get involved and stayed on the phone with the banks for what felt like hours. They treated me like family. Maybe because I've been there too often, but it's not all business. He is so personable and awesome to talk with because I know that he is knowledgeable. I probably went on the longest test drive than most others to ensure I was making the right decision and that I'd love the jeep. Which I do. Everything I asked for, he was more than willing to provide and even found deals I didn't know I could get. They truly are looking out for their costumers best interest and not their own. Not everyone can say that for sure when it comes to car dealers, but I can. That's why I highly recommend this dealer.

i stopped in to look around after spending 4 hours at another dealership, just for a second option, opinion, I was greeted immediately as soon as I parked. I told Jose that I had been to the other dealership and what I test drove and what I was looking for, showed the paperwork they gave me for pricing and what deal they had worked out with me. He said, "Oh we can beat that," I was told at the first place it would be a week or two till they could get in what I wanted, Savage had it there the next day! I had also stopped at another dealer between the 2, was there about 20 minutes walking around and looking, while they had 3 renegades the color I was looking for, no one came to talk to me, I noticed, none of them were manual, which is what I wanted, so I ended up leaving. I had purchased several new vehicles' in the past years. However, this vehicle buying experience was one of the best I have ever had in which it was relaxing and enjoyable for me. Stress free compared to past experiences. The Savage 61 dealership is clean and comfortable. The employees all work together as a team to assist one another as needed. I had the pleasure of having JUSTIN GOOD helping me through the purchasing process from start to finish. JUSTIN GOOD is pleasant, polite and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased. He answered all of my question...which were many. I really appreciated how JUSTIN GOOD treated me through the entire buying process. I also know that I can call anytime should I have any questions or concerns related to my vehicle. In addition, the service center is exceptional. I had purchased several items to be put on my vehicle after a week of buying it. The service center did an out standing job and made me absolutely LOVE what I am driving every day! I first went to Savage to try to find a jeep, but I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted. I actually met Kevin on my way out and he suggested a few cars that I might like. My previous vehicle broke down and was towed to the dealership. It's the only vehicle I had and couldn't even get to the dealership to shop for another. My salesman, Bob Care, picked me up at my house to get me there. I was very pleasantly surprised by this. I also needed a used car to get my payments where they needed to be ...
