Took my 2007 Honda Civic to Schlossmann's for B1 Maintenance Minder service. Service advisor said that included oil change, brake fluid change, radiator flush, power steering fluid change, and fuel injection service. After paying the advisor said they broke a bleeder valve during the brake fluid service and the caliper would have to be replaced the next time brake work was needed. The Honda web site says B1 service only includes oil change and brake fluid change. A few days later a survey person called and asked about the work. Said a manager would call - never did. It is time to find another place for service.

First off, between myself, wife, kids and extended family, we have ten Honda's. I do all the maintenance including spark plugs, tranny fluid changes, rear diffferential, etc.. We have never leased before. We either purchased new or purchased pre-owned. So my son and I go to Schlossman's on Labor Day. He wants to lease a Civic for three years. They advertise a Civic LX lease for $189 per month with $0 down, $0 security deposit, $0 down payment. Now they did have a disclaimer which stated "$0 down does not include taxes, title, license and dealer fees. $195 service fee due at time of delivery. Subject to credit approval. Contact Honda City for complete details." So after taking a peek at some of the cars, I ask what is the "out the door" cash required. He states $925 to $1000 depending on whether you have plates to transfer. I said, why so much? He states $70 for title, $75 for plates, $195 service fee, $189 first month's payment and the rest (about $470) is the dealer acquisition fee. I said Wow!! I said your ad is misleading. I could understand the $195 dealer fee, the first months payment and title/plates but the rest of the cost appears suspicious. Anyhow, this turned my son and I off and we left without leasing. Granted it was only $470 more than I thought it should be. It was more the principle of the thing. As we were leaving, another salesperson intercepted us and said, "Wait. We can make it a true $0 cost deal today." "We can add the $1000 cost to your lease. It will only add $30 per month to the lease price". We kept walking.I don't know if all dealers do this on leases. It just feels like a bait and switch.

If you have never been here, get it in writing before you bring you car in. Nothing worst than getting the bill, and all the numbers don't add up. When I brought it to their attention they said, well that is what the price is now. Really, just like that. Charged for services never done, shop supplies is a joke. That place needs to clean up its act. I will never return, and this was my first time.

My 2014 CRV was hit by an uninsured motorist. Did HEAVY damage to the right side of the vehicle, to the point that all the air bags on the right side of the vehicle deployed. After getting approval to have the vehicle repaired, the body shop at Honda City did a WONDERFUL job with the repairs! Vehicle looks as GOOD AS NEW! No squeaks, no rattles, drives like new! Although the repairs took longer than I had hoped, I am VERY HAPPY with the results! I have ripped this dealership in the past concerning routine maintenance. I owe them an "ATTA BOY" for the fine body shop work! Would highly recommend their body shop!

I purchased a car through this dealer. They have NO idea what they are doing. Wrong vehicle ID/colorON THE CONTRACT!!!!!! I found the mistake. Vehicle was to be titled in another state. They do not know how to do this either. Not helpful. seriously the most ridiculous place I have ever been.I took a check to pay for car, it took me 2 HOURS of them redoing paperwork because it was not the same way twice. Called the finance guy today, as I was told paperwork had to be notarized by salesperson, finance guy said no, went to ask a question to someone, waited for him to come back,he hung up on me, then he was busy!Their Dodge portion (Schlossman's) is no better. I test drove a car, never heard from the salesperson again. That's not a way to sell a car, I would think that is salemanship 101.

Joe Orin was by far The Best salesman I have encountered on this journey of finding the right vehicle while getting the best deal. He was not only honest and forthcoming but witty, charming and very knowledgeable about not only his products but the others I threw at him. I had to make sure he knew his stuff and he did. I told him what I was working with and what I wanted to see happen. He gave me solutions as well as suggestions for alternatives to that. He gave us the most informative, entertaining downright fun experience in car shopping yet. However, I'm quite picky and wish i was excited about the product but I'm still comparing. He has since called me to get an update Although I have not made a purchase yet, I'm sure I want him to be the one who sells it to me. The whole family loved him and have pressured me to buy from him just because of him and not the product. Great job Joe!

I went to this dealer with no hopes of getting a car because of having a poor credit. So I told the lady that was standing outside my credit problem and she called Marion Masterjohn to help me out. I told Marion about my poor credit, and I asked her to show me my options and she told me that she was going to help me get the car I wanted and I was still short of hope. After looking at the cars I saw a car I love so I told Marion the car I wanted so she started making calls and working hard. She comes back and told me that the Bank approved the car and I just couldn't believe the low interest rate I went to other 3 car dealers before and they offered me a high interest rate and not many options for cars. Marion gave me the perfect car a car I love at a great interest rate with a low montly payment I can't be more happier than this. She took the time with her hard work to help me and she did a great job. Thank you so much Marion Masterjohn for all your help.

We bought a used Honda here and had excellent service from the salesman all the way up to the service department. We had a couple issues with dashboard indicator warning lights going off within the first couple days we drove it, and the service department took care of the issues for us at no charge. This is our second purchase from Honda City and we are very satisfied.

I had bad luck that affected me financially. So bad in fact I had no vehicle for 2 years then was barely able to afford a 15 yr old Chevy van that needed alot of work. I just blew $700 on things needed just to keep it going and I contacted Marion as advertised on the radio they can get financing for almost any bad credit situation. Well o course I was turned down cuz they don't refuse 100% cash deals so I needed a down payment and when the Push Pull or Drag came along it gave me the opportunity to use that as down payment to the bank to show commitment. Hey if paying more gets me into a newer vehcile and OUT of a beater I'm all for it. Now I'm driving a 2011 AWD SUV with heated seats and leather, etc. No way would anyone else have helped me but Marion did. She is such a sweet lady. Made me feel comfortable as I waited for financing to go thru and I only had to deal with her. She does her own financing deals and that was really cool. I love her for working with me and making my new life even better, esp in the Wisconsin Winter season.

2 weeks back i bought Honda CR-V-2014 from this dealer, but in future i never by car from "Schlossmann's Honda City" based on my experience.Here is the reason1. Sales guys will say all wrong data don't believe.2. Once you signed paper work , after that their behavior will change completely, way of treating very bad. 3. Their price is more than other dealer.3. They will take lot time to respond your problems, some times they will say lies by saying we will do today, but even after 2 weeks they never do.4. They will say they will check only 1 credit hystory, but they checked 7 credit checks.5.By comparing with other dealer, they are even giving any accessories.5. With my experience, in future i never by any vehicle or i never any of my friends

I wanted to purchase a 2014 Honda Civic. I had purchased my 2007 Honda Civic at Schlossmann's Honda as a new car. I brought my carto their service department for all my car repairs and maintenance. I was very happy with both my Honda and the service I received over the years. When I decided to buy a 2014 automobile there was no doubt in my mind that I wanted another Honda and to purchase it from Schlossmann's. I went to the dealership on a Tuesday to browse and most of all to see if I would qualify to buy a Honda using their financing.I thought I would just be going through the process of qualifying and that it would take at least a few days before I would know if I would qualify. I pretty much knew what I was looking for. I had done research on their web site and had a good idea of models and prices. The sales person that helped me was Dennis Gonzales. He spent a lot of time with me and asked me what exactly I wanted. He explained everything about the car in great detail. After I had signed all the papers, he again spent time going through all the owner manuals with me. He even transferred my old plates to the new car. I got my Honda home that day. In short, my experience was very positive. I got a car in one day, which I didn't think would happen. At no time did I feel pressured into buying something I didn't want. The finance manager, Steve, who took care of the paperwork was also friendly and helpful. The whole car buying experience was positive. I dealt with friendly, helpful people in clean, pleasant surroundings. I would recommend Honda and Schlossmann's Honda City to anyone in the market for a new car.

I contacted Marion 4 months before. I had poor credit, she told me to do a few things to improve my credit rating and to check back with her. I did EXACTLY what she said and I left the lot In a brand new Honda Insight. I love Marion for all her hard work along with a few others I don't know their last names, but John and Jamie. Marion is a true gem and will be very upfront and honest, in today's world that says a a lot about a dealership. They have gained a customer for life, Thank you again Honda City!

I had a problem with my 2013 CRV. The car had 3 batteries, and was making a grinding noise on start up. After many phone calls, internet posts, service appointments, Honda City finally took care of me. They got into a 2014 while keeping my same payments. I end up paying a bit more, but I am erasing 13,000 miles of wear and tear from the 2013 CRV. I originally posted a very negative review, however it have much respect for a company that takes care of a problem. Everyone was very accommodating and nice when we came to exchange the 2013 for the 2014. They were great to work with, and so far I am very happy with my 2014 CRV.

Visited location several times for routine service on my Honda and have been unimpressed with each visit... on the last visit, I was completely blown away by the magnitude of poor customer service. Staff has been consistently unfriendly, condescending and rude. The waiting area is small, cramped and dingy. Prices are typical dealership prices. Workmanship is ok, though cannot overcome the other issues.

I see I experienced exactly what the other reviewers saw. Was given a sticker price that magically WENT UP when I wanted to purchase the car. Seocndly, was told that we had a deal at the price I wanted BEFORE I went there. Turns out they just wanted to do a stupid test. Helen increased the sticker price by $900, and increased the price agreed to with the salesperson to get me in there, by ....wait for it....a whopping $3800!. They totally wasted my time and had no consideration for my time or money. Suffice to say I would not do business with them now at any price!

"Your Trade is Worth a Minimum of $4,000 Guaranteed!They hike up the price $4,000 which essentially makes your trade in worth $0!The used Car Sales Manager, Helen Christiansen, will rudely tell you that their prices change often depending on what sale they are running. She will also tell you, QUOTE,"I am not going to debate the meaning of the "PUSH, PULL or DRAG ad!!!!!"I went to purchase a car I saw on their lot a week prior with a window dash displayed price. I was prepared to use my trade in to purchase the car at the price they prominently had displayed in the dash of the car, a week prior! For the "Push, Pull" or Drag" event the price displayed on the dash was not the price they honored. The price Schlossmann's Honda worked with was the sticker price on the side window. Do your homework!!!! The sticker price on the window is $4,000 more than what KBB or Edmunds will appraise a car at. Again, your trade is worth $0 at this point.LIARS!!!! LIARS!!!!! LIARS!!!!!!!I wasted a day looking at a car based on there deceptive advertising. They have no shame in fooling a consumer. They stand by the fact they CAN and WILL change their prices to fool an unsavvy consumer.I hear great things about David Hobbs Honda. I will gladly buy a car from David Hobbs. I would suggest you go anywhere but Schlossmann's Honda. They are dishonest with no excuses.

I was led to believe that given this is a certified honda dealer, the ticketed price on a new car was the lowest price I can get. I discovered this is absolutely untrue and that other buyers got much better prices on the same day. When I wanted to sell my car 9 months later for personal reasons, they gave me the lowest price I've heard in the market. They essentially sold me this car for 20K and wanted to buy it back in perfect condition, 9 months later for 14K (and it was the same year model of Honda civic). I found out I could've gotten the car for 19K and I did manage to sell it out at 17K.They are a total rip off.

I was in a accident and my bumper was cracked and scratched all over; it needed to get replaced. I took it to the dealership, this place was approved by my insurance and a relative took their car there and they recommened it, and everyone was so nice and helpful. I needed a rental car and they called for me when they didn't show up after an hour (suppose to take 30min) they called again and told them to pick me up promptly. The body shop workers did an amazing job on my bumper and I feel that they even went above and beyond and really made my car look like new! I felt like everyone communicated very well with me and even though I as never able to answer the phone calls while I was at work; I felt like I was always in the loop when my car was in the shop through voicemails. I am EXTREMELY happy about the work and customer service I recieved here! I hope my car stays the way it is (fixed and working condition) but if something ever happens again I will for sure take my car back to Schlossmann's Honda City on Hwy 100. Thank you to everyone who worked on my car, works the desk in the repair shop, and to the people who work in the service center for all your help.

I leased a 2010 Civic for 36 months from Schlossmann's Honda City. I wanted to get out of the lease 10 months early and lease a 2012 Accord. They bought out my lease at no cost to me and I got in a new lease with no money out of pocket for 30 days and I am actually paying less per month now for a nicer vehicle. Very satisfied overall. The process was very long though. I was at Honda City for almost seven hours to close the deal.

Went in to lease a car. Was switched to a higher price car and was told nothing was available in the lower priced range, even though there was many listed on the website and I was promised the car the night before. My credit was checked twice, which does screw up a persons credit rating. I was sold a maintenance package which costed me $75 a oil change. The seller never told me the details of the package. I didn't know until later the true cost of the package. I went to cancel the package and the people kept trying to talk me into it. Telling what a great deal it was, even though there own garage charged $27.95 for a oil change. I was told by the sales people that I wouldn't see a refund of my money until three years later, as a credit on my bill. I went to complain to the general manager Craig and was ignored. I e-mail messages and phone calls and never received one response from him. Finally, when I received my bill from Honda they applied my refund as extra money on my security deposit. So I be paying on this maintenance package for three years even though I have cancelled it. MY ADVISE TO ALL DON'T TRUST THEM!!!!

Went in to the Dealership for our free car wash for our 2009 CRV after having lunch at a chinese restaurant and basically came out in a 2012 CRV EX-L AWD. This was our 9th vehicle purchased from this dealership in the last 10 years. Our salesperson, Peter Froelich was the best with no pressure and just the facts about the new vehicle and they quickly appraised our current vehicle fast. Our total time at the dealership was ninety minutes and the paperwork was stress-free and they even took a personal check. We have been to other dealerships in the past and they are like being at your in-laws at Thanksgiving or Christmas. Honda City personnel are true professionals and know their product well. and enjoy doing it as a way of life. This place is a positive environment and everybody knows their product well and understands the customers time is important. I would highly recommend this dealership for your next car purchase, especially Peter Froelich, who is a true knowledgeable Honda product sales professional.

We were looking for a second car and were comparing the Hyundai Accent and the Honda Fit. We had already driven the Accent and came to drive the Fit. Every time we go to a car dealer, we dread the whole experience. Normally it is high on the list of "worst ways to spend your time and become irritated". As we drove up to Schlossmann's Honda, we again were dreading it. We always do our homework and know what we want and the price we are looking for before setting foot on any dealer lot.Upon parking and getting out of our vehicle, Pedro Rivera was right there, welcoming us. We saw him approaching as we parked and thought "Great, here we go again." He was very friendly, but that is the usual experience we have initially, anyway. Employees standing at the door on that chilly night opened the Schlossmann's doors for us. Pedro took us to his desk. We were there just shy of two hours discussing what we wanted, talking price, and choosing our car options. Still, with every word spoken, we were expecting the bomb to drop and to walk out. We've been in too many unpleasant situations with car purchases before and believe no one in the industry could really be forthright and honest. Pedro was proving us wrong and winning us over with every word and action he made. He was so pleasant and really seemed to care. The car color we chose was not on their lot and we decided to have heated, leather seats installed through them as well - in our minds, this left many more opportunities for the deal to sink. To our surprise, Pedro (and Schlossman's) delivered everything we asked for on time- the color, the car, the leather seats, and the price! Some of the negotiations were done via email and phone. Pedro was excellent! When we picked up the car he was wonderful and thoroughly covered everything. We are dog owners and in the time we spent with Pedro, as he asked questions to get to know us and our needs better, he relayed things about his dogs and life. He seems like a very kind, good-hearted, sincere person. The time we spent sharing the personal aspects of all our lives made me know that Pedro is not only there to sell a car to his clients, but he is also there for the client and to me, that is the best type of person to represent Schlossman's. They are very lucky to have him as an employee!Steve Hooker was the finance person we dealt with. At this time, we were dreading the finance part of the deal also, even though we were getting the 0.9% and were not financing much. He went over packages with us for extended care and other things. We found him also very honest and sincere. He was quite easy to work with and there was no pressure. It was quite a relief to find as we went along with the process that there were no hidden surprises and no bad experiences. He relayed personal experiences to help guide us and understand why certain options would be in our best interest.This is our 3rd Honda. If car purchasing could be this pleasant every time, I would actually enjoy it! I wish I were in need of another car right away because Pedro and Steve made the whole thing positive for us and I would love to do business with them again, any day! Their genuine personalities, good hearts, and kind souls make them people I would highly recommend to anyone purchasing a Honda!

Gary was very helpful with no pressure to buy. He answered all our questions without making us feel obligated to buy. No questions left unanswered. Gary was not the onlt employee that went out of their way to help us. When Gary was not there, several of the other salesmen helped us out, and even the New car sales managers went out of their way to answer any questions we had. Everyone at Schlossmenns Honda City were so friendly from the girls sitting at the desk when we first walked in with thier friendly smiles and always a "How can I help you?" all the way to the service departments telling us it's not time for an oil change yet. No one wants to take advantage of you just to get our money. I think that speaks for itself saying it's a dealership that wants to keep it's customers happy and coming back. As far as the rating of only ok for price, I think all cars cost to much no matter where you buy it.

the worst experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. I waited for over an hour for credit check, waited over over an hour while tony took on someone else while he was helping me. He kept saying, I'll be right with you, this wont take long. If the vehicle wasn't exactly what I was looking for I would have left. I cannot say enough good things about Schlossmans and my salesman, Gary Graika. I was so impressed with the customer service and the selection of cars at the dealership. I bought a 2011 Honda CR-V and was in and out in less than 2 hours. Gary Graika was my salesman and was very knowledgeable and personable. There was no pressure or persuasion on his part whatsoever. He made the car buying experience pleasurable and not the ordeal that is usually associated with buying a new car. He not only demonstrated how everything worked in the CR-V but took me on a tour of the building, introduced me to Kim in the service department, and showed me where to get my FREE car wash (everyday if I want) for the life of my car. He also went as far as to ask what radio stations I like so he could program them in for me. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him and I have already referred a coworker to him. Brenda Santiago was also great to work with. She did the financing and informed me of the extended warranty, maintenance package, etc. I told her I was not interested in those packages (which is just my preference) and instead of trying the high pressure that I had experienced while buying another car in the past, she just moved on to the next step of signing. She was very personable and professional. I will definitely be taking my car there for all service and when I need other car, I will be contacting Gary. I was also impressed with the showroom and how clean everything is. I wholeheartedly recommend Schlossmans.

My family only buys our cars from Ed Wrathall withthe Schlossmanns Auto Group. Although Ed is officialy assigned to their Subaru City Dealership, he is allowed tosell inventory out of all the Schlossmann's delaerships, including Honda City. We arevery loyal to the Honda brand as well. Most recently, we purchased a used 2008Honda Odyssey from Ed. Ed is teh opposite of what people think of as the sterotypecar salesperson. He listens to the customer's needs. He doesn't push you into something you don't need or can't afford. Since we already did our homework on the vehicle we wanted, the transaction was very smooth. I highly reccomend that peoplesee Ed Wrathall when they are in th emarket for anew or used vehicle.

After jumping around from dealer to dealer and geting the same annoying, nagging- style salesperson, I walked on to Schlossmann's lot to look at a specific vehicle only to have a salesperson on me like white on rice. But unlike my earlier expierences, Kevin was extremely kind and laid back. Great personality and made my buying expierence a pleasure! Wish all used car salespeople were like him! We haven't bought a car in about 11 years now. Things have really changed. Kevin was very patient and helpfull. He answered all are questions. He was very professional. I have his cards and yes, if anyone asks about buying a car, I will have no problem recommending Kevin. As for Honda City, we found everyone to be very helpful. It was a positive experience for us. Some other things I noticed was a nice open clean showroom. Desks not cluttered, and we acutally seen sales people smile and relaxed. There was no pressure. I guess all that put us at ease. If anyone is looking for a car or SUV, I would recommend giving Honda City a look first.

We went into the dealership looking for a used car, Chris was helping us out, but he is also crosstrained to sell new cars. After haggeling for awhile on used cars, we asked the price of new cars. For the price difference we decided to buy new. We were very well taken care of, being offered water, soda, coffee, etc, not pressured, but could talk in a friendly matter, as to what we wanted. Details of the car, maintenance, and the financial aspects were all explained to us in detail though it took a little time, we were both pleased.

I am a cash buyer. Test drove a care, chose options, and came to an agreement on price within 2 hours. I told the sales manager I will pay cash and want no extra crap pushed on me. I brought in a cashiers check to complete the sale. The selling style of this dealer is so mercenary, they put me thru about 2 more hours of hard-sell pressure, bringing in teams of finance managers, etc., to push all kinds of extended warranty, paint protection, etc. Very aggravating and did not make for a happy delivery day.One service-related issue with the car is still unresolved. Cannot give more details as they may treat me even worse if they read this.

I had been working with Greg for several months on buying my new Honda Accord. He took me out on a test drive and I explained that I was not going to buy my car for a while because I was in the process of selling a home and needed to wait until it sold to have the money. He did not blow me off as a non-current buyer, but instead did follow up calls to let me know dealer specials and see if there was anything I needed to help and what my current time line was. Eventually, the deal was so good, I purchased the car earlier than I wanted to in order to receive the special financing. The general manager, Craig Lucas, stepped in after I had waited for hours trying to get the deal I wanted and made it happen. I am very excited about my new Accord and love it. We went to the dealership to see about purchasing a new Honda Civic. We had previously test driven the vehicle at other dealerships and seen their facilities. We were very impressed with the number of vehicles that they had to choose from and the knowledge of the young salesperson that helped us. The dealership was very clean and seemed to have a very clean garage for working on the vehicles. My husband talked to some of the service people and was impressed by their willingness to take the time to discusss service issues with him. They made going through all the finances - not my strong point - really easy.I bought my car from Randy Pohl. Randy was absolutely wonderful to work with. The only problem I had was that the vehicle wasn't quite ready when I picked it up. The overall feeling of satisfaction in comparison to when I bought an Acura, it just wasn't quite the same. I guess you get more when you buy supposedly higher rated vehicles. I got a Honda Oddyssey, very nice condition and I got it for a good price. I guess that is why it wasn't topped off with fuel either when I picked it up. :) The salesman was very courteous and took care of all of my needs as I raised them. There were some floor mats missing so he ordered all new ones and took care of that within a day. Thanks Jeff.

What an experience for us to buy our first brand new vehicle. We had always lived with hand-me-downs (used), but this was exciting. Why new? We needed a car that would give us great gas mileage. We knew we wanted a Honda, but which one? It was between the civic, hybrid, and the fit. How does one go about looking for a new car? You talk to GARY GRAIKA. He is knowledgeable, friendly, understanding, and really knows cars. He is not pushy, over bearing or "knows all the answers" (But he knows how and where to find them.)Here's our experience: We were greeted by Gary with a friendly Hello, May I help you? He had no idea what he was in for. First it took us three different days to come up with what car we wanted. Patiently he showed us the civic, hybrid and the fit. We decided on the civic. Then it was the color. I wanted the white but the "cool mist" sounded so interesting. I needed to see that one--any vehicle in that color just to see it before making my decision. Gary called us every day just to inform us if any came in. Then I changed my mind and decided that I really wanted the white. But then we also decided that since it was our only new car we'd ever buy, we splurge, and get the 2012 Civic EXL. Gary helped us in so many ways. He went through all the information of setting the "gadgets" that best fit our needs, and set them for us. He explained so many questions we asked, and always in a caring maner. He also told us from the beginning that he, or any Honda employee would be there for us. After buying the car, we drove in one day, he saw us, stopped to show us where we could get a free car wash and spent a few minutes talking. Yes, he gave us his time, TIME he could have had trying to sell another car. That makes a person really feel good. Like always buying a car from him. I want to thank Tony Glavan for his help in the leasing of my new 2011 Honda CR-V from Schlossman's Honda City in Milwaukee. He took the time to answer all my many, many questions and was patient, friendly and made sure I got the information I needed. I had leased a 2008 Honda CR-V and loved it so much I was hoping to buy it after the lease ended in September. Tony helped me by running through the numbers with me, and then told me of an excellent deal Honda was running on leasing a new 2011 CR-V. Now, my last lease my parents had helped work out the details. At 25, I felt I should do this on my own, and Tony was totally willing to sit and talk through everything with me. Of course, inevitably Dad had to get involved to get his questions answered, but Tony and the rest of the staff at Schlossman's were so patient and helpful. Tony really made me feel like I was getting the best deal and that I was informed about my decision. Even though it was a busy day, Tony made me feel like I was the most important customer. Steve Hill in financing also was very patient and answered all my questions and even caught a deal for me using a coupon I didn't realize I had! Schlossman's has always offered excellent service overall, from the sales experience to the car servicing, since I began leasing from them 2.5 years ago. They have excellent employees - like Tony - and offer great prices. I would recommend them to anyone!

I recently purchased a 07 Santa Fe and was very satisfied with the experience overall. Kevin was very helpful in the process. My only complaint is that 2 days after purchased the car i started hearing a noise from the drivers side rear tire. As i drove further the noise got louder. Luckily my father who is a mechanic was in town and discovered that 4 of the 5 lug nuts on that tire were loose and ready to fall off. He said it would not have been long before the tire fell off completely. The dealership did put new tires on this car and it was very disappointing that the car was allowed to leave the lot in this condition. I purchased this car so that I would not have to worry about issues of this nature and it was very upsetting that 2 days after getting the car i already had an issue. I hope this situation is used as a training tool to ensure this does not happen to another customer. It is a shame that someone decided to take a shortcut and had my Dad not been around this could have turned into a serious situation and would hate to think about what may have happened if the tire had fallen off while i was driving it.

This is our 5th Honda that we have bought at Honda City:) After seeing the Element in 2007 it had grown on me. Last year it really sparked my interrest when they came out with a pet package option for the Element. A MUST for someone that has 5 dogs in the household ;) Unfortunatly something always came up and we could not get into one. Then I heard this year is the last year of production for the Element. I knew that if it was meant to be then its meant to be.. Honda City was having a event, and we said what the heck. Lets see what happens. John McNaughton was the sales man that started making things happpen. He went through everything with us, and what they had. They had the color I wanted and that they could get my pet package (some issues with this though).. John was very kind, considerate, and very helpful. There is a issue with the petpackage though, seeing that we only got half of it. No emblums, tote, colar, leash, the ramp was all nicked up, no fan, along with a couple other things. My husband called and talked to 4 people today and of course John was not it, but John never notified the sales manager NOR the service manager that the items where missing. So the sales manager is off tomorrow and now we have to wait for him to look into this, and I was happy and now I am discouraged by this.. I thought that when we left the lot the missing items would have been brought to the attention as soon as we left. So when this Sales manager comes back Thursday and see's the truck and so forth.. Then I hope to God that they order all the parts of the pet package that I need. That is the NUMBER 1 reason I got this truck to begin with. I trust that Honda will treat this in a professional mannor and get the things with we need. I am involed with Pug rescue and this car is what I would need to help the cause..

Throughtout the years, I've always purchased a new car every couple of years. I was happy to find Brent Bautch at the Honda dealership. He was extremely professional in his demeanor and knew what he was talking about. He didn't push us to buy a car, instead he listened to us and assisted us in the best possible way he could. I'm sorta picky and Brent was very understanding of that. He even came in twice on his day off to assist us. Steve was very friendly and helpful when my husband and I were looking. He was patient with us and did everything he could to make sure the deal would be the best he could offer. He followed up with us quite a bit both before and after we purchased our car, which may have turned some people off, but it didn't bother us. I would recommend both the dealership and Steve.

I have been involved with Honda City for 2 different leases, both with John Billman and Jayme Haupt and I can't say enough about the two of these men and Honda City as a whole! The first lease was for my Mom, she was getting to the end of a lease of an Accord from a different dealer (who we wouldn't return to), John was the first person I talked to when I called and told him what my Mom was looking for and he had the price and vehicle (Accord) she wanted. My Mom and I drove down the same day and turned her car in and took the new one home, everything went smoothly, between John and Jayme it was a great experience. We were greeted when we walked in the door, never being to your dealership, it was great to have someone open the door and ask if we can be helped and who we were looking for! Awesome customer service! Directed us to John who took great care of us, my Mom still talks about it!Now a few months later, a friend of mine was in the market for a reliable car with a great lease price and I of course looked up Honda City immediately! I contacted John and he had the vehicle and the price she was looking for. We took care of the financial paperwork via fax since we do live 1 1/2 hours away (Yes I will drive by many Honda dealers to get to yours!) We were again greeted at the door, John met us soon after and we had the paperwork signed and away we went! I recently had my car battery die on me and I needed a new one right away. After we got it jump started we just made it to my Honda dealer. I didnt have an appointment but they took my car in right away and I was out in a half an hour which was amazing for a Saturday since they were pretty busy. My family has 2 cars from this dealer and the reason we keep coming back for all our service is because of the service they provide. I have never had a problem getting the help I needed or my questions answered.

Ms. Dillman was very fast and efficient as she checked me in for the service appointment. A welcoming smile accompanied her estimate of both time and cost as well as advising us that should anything arise during the inspection she would advise us at that time.Indeed something else WAS found and she quickly advised us of a front brake problem. We authorized the work and it was finished within the time frame promised and very efficiently!.Kudos to Gina. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would recommend this dealer to any of my friends.

We went to look at a used honda civic for my wife, and after being welcomed into the dealership, we were met with salesman Randy Pohl. We were turning in a leased vehicle and were unsure if we wanted to buy used or lease again new. After learning positive lease options, from Randy, that we were unaware of, we decided to lease a new civic. Randy was very knowledgeable and we were picky, Randy showed us every car we wanted to look at, sometimes twice. The selection of cars that Honda City had was great and after spending an enjoyable time at the dealership, which usually doesnt happen, we couldn't be happier with our decision. Thanks to Randy, we will be back. Actually, we will be back in a couple days to hopefully lease a new CR-V for myself.

Peter Froelich has great interest and professional knowledge on Honda products and their different uses and applications. He is a true professional in every respect that is well-polished and tachful. His follow-through with the customer is excellent and any issues with the vehicle after delivery is handled right away and not brushed off. My total time at the dealership was 2 hours as it was a very cold and snowy day. This is why I have gone back to this dealership and bought 7 cars since Fall 2001. The customer service is excellent and they are not pushy or persusive.

The customer service at Honda City was very good. I have worked with this salesman in the past and came to Honda City to lease my second vehicle from this dealership. The salesman and his assistant were very friendly and his assistant basically kept me entertained while Peter finished up with the customers he was working with when I arrived. The price was extremely good, quite a deal if I must say so myself. The only reason I gave my overall experience a 4 instead of a 5 is due to the fact that I was at the dealership for 3 hours and was very ready to leave. Maybe cutting it down the time would enhance the experience.

I had a pleasant used-car buying experience at Schlossmann's Honda City. All staff members I interacted with were friendly, especially salesperson, Nicholas Chavez. I had been to numerous local dealers and I found that Nicholas was the most willing to negotiate price and listen to my customer needs. Let me start off by saying on Dec 17th I hated Car dealerships. I have always hated car dealerships. On December 18th we called Schlossmann Honda and my opinion has been changed forever. This dealership is awesome. First the negotiation process was a breeze. I called John Billman on the phone and negotiated with him for a few minutes. He gave me his best price, which was better than any other price in town. The best part of this was when we got into the shop, John and Tom honored their word. If you have ever worked with car dealerships on the phone before, you know that when you come in the door there are hidden charges and little "oversights" that will raise the price of the car another 1000 bucks at least. (saying "oh this price was for a Manual Transmission and not an Automatic seems to be a popular one) Not at Schlossmann. Everything they told us on the phone was true. We came in and filled out the paperwork and bought our car. The new Car manager (Tom Putz) came and talked with us while we were waiting for the paperwork to finish and for the car to be prepped. He really made us feel at home and feel like our business was highly valued. Even though we were probably buying a lower end car on the price scale(HONDA FIT WHICH WE LOVE), we felt as though we were the most important customers there. He was trying to build a long term relationship and not just make a quick buck on us. We have a young son who is very active and hyper and they made us feel comfortable the entire time. It was an amazing job. The other Gentleman we worked with was Pedro - also a car dealer. Pedro was very truthful with us, very upfront and honest, and also made us feel very welcome. He did not apply any pressure and helped us get situated and comfortable while the ball got rolling. I cannot believe I am saying this but I actually enjoyed my time at this dealership, as did my wife. We look forward to many many more years of business with Pedro, John, and Tom. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone. You will be happy you stopped in.

I had called this dealer before coming in and was transferred to Peter (18 years experience). He was very personable over the phone and the same in person. I went in to test drive the 2011 CR-V and left with leasing it for a in-house special they had. Peter was very helpful, organized and thorough. His helper, Dan, was also very friendly, organized and detailed with all the options the car had. Overall, it was a great experience.

So, after looking all around the Madison/Twin Cities/Milwaukee area for the best deal on a new Honda Sport Fit, I finally decided on Scholssman's in Milwaukee, even though that meant an extra drive from Madison. Donna Mears, who I contacted through carsoup, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Unlike alot of places I contacted online, they didn't harass (okay--harass might not be the best word, but I said I wanted to be contacted by email and these people kept calling and calling and calling...) me. I felt like I was treated with respect the whole time, even when I needed a little bit of extra help. Unfortunately, I can't say that I was thrilled with Chuck Snowdon, the cars salesman that Donna passed me off to once I got there to actually sign the paperwork. He was very nice and polite, but I felt like I was more knowledgeable about the car, its features, and the car buying process than he was. I was seriously afraid he was going to make an important paperwork mistake and that we would have to fix an error later on. Ugh. Overall though, I was very happy with my experience. Donna was great, and I would definately recommend Schlossmans to anyone looking for a Honda. They had the best price--period.

Today I stopped by the Scholssmann Honda City in Milwaukee to discuss some recent issues on my wife's 2006 Accord with the Service manager Pete Loberg. This was after several phone conversations and gathering of records Pete had requested. The conversation was in regards to an oil leak from the drain pan plug area. My wife had taken over the lease on her accord about 7 months ago and with that she received a few free oil change certificates. The first oil change we brought it to the Honda facility and everything went great, there we no problems. The very next oil change all the sudden we are informed there is a problem but don't worry Honda will take care of it at no charge and they proceeded to re-thread the oil pan and put a new drain plug in. Ever since that day oil has been slowly leaking out of the drain plug staining my garage floor. I had my wife bring the car in to get checked out at which time they "re-torqued" the plug and said if it continues you need a new drain pan. After this the car is still leaking oil. I explained the situation to the service manager Pete Loberg at which time he requested data from past oil changes. I disagreed at the need for this data as there were clearly no issues the first time we brought the car in but proceeded to please him anyway. Today I brought in that data for Pete's review and to finish our discussion. After review Pete outright said the problem wasn't his fault but he would absorb the installation cost if I purchased the $150 part. After I explained several time this was unacceptable because the first oil change went fine and the second time it is obvious the technician over torqued the plug causing the need to re-thread which in the end is the cause of the slow leak. Pete rudely said well that's all I can do and walked away. His attitude and tone was outright unprofessional. I am very disappointed with the service and furthermore at the lack of willingness to take full responsibility for damage caused to my vehicle during a servicing their facility.

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I leased a vechile through this dealership for 5 years; my parents also have been loyal customers, and leased a vechile through Honda City for 3 years. At the end of my lease, I met with a sales person who completely misrepresented the lease return process through the dealership; unfortunately, I relied upon his misrepresentations in making the decision to purchase a $14,000.00 vechicle, rather than purchasing the leased vehicle. The misrepresentations resulted in over $2,000 in unexpected fees that I was charged for the return of the leased vehicle (the dealer had represented that any fees, at most, would be negligible). After over 60 days of trying to work with multiple representatives from Honda City in resolving the charges, I had been lied to repeatedly, phone calls were not returned, and in the end I wound up paying the full amount of the charges. Their behavior is appalling and I would NEVER set foot in this dealership again. Honda Dealer Services is investigating into this situation, as we lodged a formal complaint.

I purchased my 2002 Civic from them brand new. Never had problems with their service until June/July2006, then it was all down hill. My alternator went and I had the car towed to them on a Saturday morning. They said theyd call when it was repaired. Never got a call. When I finally called they said it was all set to go, but it was too late in the day for me to get there in time to pick it up (not to mention I had to track down someone else drive me there). I had to find someone to cart me around the rest of the weekend and carpool with on that Monday. When I went to pick up the car finally, the service man said that they tried to get a hold of me because I needed the battery replaced too and that they couldnt do the work without my permission. My home phone number was clearly listed at the top of the invoice, but they only tried to call the cell phone number they had written down for me on the invoice (which they wrote incorrectly). So I had to wait another hour or so for them to install the battery. When the guy came back to get me he apologized for it taking so long, and then proceeded to tell me that since the battery was replaced, they had to reset my radio. Since they didnt know the 5 digit code to reset it, they had to pull the entire radio out from the dash in order to get it. Anyone who buys a new Honda is told at the time of purchase to either memorize this 5 digit number or carry it with you so that should something like this happen, you can easily reset it. The moron serviceman didnt even come out to see if I had it, he just ripped the whole radio out. That was just the beginning. I had also asked them to check my driverside seatbelt, as it was not latching very well. They said they had to order it, so I went home and waited. The seatbelt finally came in and I went to have it replaced. When the work was done, I got back in my car a noticed that the Escutcheon console around my shifter was chipped and there were scratches alongside the center of the console in front and in back of my seat. I immediately went back to the serviceman (who was the same one who ripped out my radio), and he told me it was impossible that their guys could have done this. I was irrate at that point. He went and got the manager who came out and told me it is quite possible that they did the damage because they have to remove the entire seat to replace the belt. They had to special order the piece that was chipped, so again, I went home and waited. The part finally comes in, I go and wait an hour for it to be replaced and leave. Later that night, I go to leave and turn the headlights on for the first time only to find they installed the part backwards! The left side that should nonrmally light up with the the gear symbols did not. The right side of the plastic (that has nothing on it) lit up. Again, I took the car back to have it fixed. They finally got it right and I left. After driving in it for a day or two, I thought the lit up symbols looked different, but thought maybe I was just crazy. Then I went out with my mom (who has the exact same car), and noticed that hers lit up differently. The interior gauges of our cars are supposed to light up pale green, and the center console lights up the same color to match. The new center console they put in my car lights up orange and red! They didnt even order the part in the correct color. I havent even bothered to bring this up to them because Im never going back. The part is there, its functioning, its not pretty with the rest of the green lights, but theres nothing more that Im willing to do at this point. What should have been a simple repair took over a month to remedy and wasted more of my time than Id like to know. Decide for yourself whether or not youd like them to repair your own vehicle.

This is the first Honda I've owned having formally driven a Chevy Tahoe. Once past the Soccer Mom jokes I am growing to like my Honda more each day.I started at Schlossmann's because they had the car I liked at a price that was attractive. I don't like to haggle and the Internet made the search painless.My faith in Honda was tested when a few months after the sale, the rear window shattered for no apparent reason. After a follow-up E-mail from Schlossmann's Greg Rowley asking if there was anything he could do, I mentioned the window failure. Not expecting a reply, I got a reply and a check for the repair cost. That's service!Recently I had some front end damage. Since it was my fault, I was going to pay for it, not insurance. I could have gone anywhere I wanted for the repair and not just what the insurance company wanted. I choose Schlossmann's without even looking for another estimate. The good faith on the widow repair is the kind of dealer I want to do business with and put my trust in.The $2100 repair looks better than new. The work was started surprisingly promptly and finished when the full extent of the repairs was known. There where a few short delays, but I can't think of anything more I would require to be completely satisfied.

Schlossman's Honda City in Milwaukee WI is a place to avoid, do not deal with them at all. Avoid this dealership like the plague, I bought a civic from them, and had nothing but problems from the get go. The salesperson Genevieve did not have our car ready on the pick up day, when we had signed and agreed to purchase, and was a huge pain in the butt. We actually asked for another salesperson because she was then quite rude, and seemed preoccupied with some internal dealership contest that would get her more money. Got the car, with credit to Honda itself, is an excellent value, reliable, and even fun to drive for a car at this price point. Honda is great, Schlossmans is not. Second part- got in an accident, and needed some bodywork done, so we decided to take it to where we bought it, don't ask me why since we did not have a good experience with the sale (some time had passed, I guess we are easily forgiving). The work done was less than sub-par, might I say horrible. The new paint started chipping in 2 places after a couple of days. There were dried paint pools in the hood- do not know how they let that out the door, honestly, horrible work. There were numerous noises soming from the suspension, and underbody- I thought service was supposed to drive the car after supposedly fixing it to see that it is mechanically sound, I guess not. I got an email from them asking if they did a good job. I wrote a lengthy email detailing the problems, and never heard back- geuss they don't like bad feedback. Finally, I called, and they shuffeled me around, and did not seem to care at all. I told them that they requested feedback to see that they did a good job, they just told me to call someone else. Schlossman's Honda City in Milwaukee WI is a place to avoid, do not deal with them at all. It's a shame, because Honda makes great cars, but Schlossman's gives them a bad name. We are now looking to buy a new Honda, and will go somewhere else for sure.
