I worked with Neil (sales rep) and Thomas (manager), who were both great. Neil kept in contact with me for months and ensured I got the best rate. Once I walked into the dealership Thomas was ready and willing to get me the monthly payment and car I wanted. The process was seamless and the quickest it’s ever been. This is my second Mazda and I love it, as well as, the Schwartz customer service. I’ve been to other dealerships and they just don’t compare in my opinion.

My buying experience here was extremely easy. Salesman Elvin was professional and personable. No high pressure sales tactics. I looked at the car and decided to buy i, but had to leave. While I was gone, Elvin took care of all the paperwork, so when I returned all I had to do was sign and drive! The longest wait was with my insurance company not the dealership! Andre in finance was also a pleasure to work with. Definitely recommend Schwartz dealership, and be sure to ask for Elvin. !

I answered an AutoTrader online ad for a car that they had in stock. I was looking at a 2012 Mercedes_Benz C300 Sport that they had in stock. I assumed the car came from a customer who had purchased a new car from them. They said that the car was there and that it was in great condition. So, I took them at their word and paid a mechanic to travel and check the car over. They reluctantly agreed to allow him to observe the car on a lift at which point the front end accident and damage became obvious. In addition, the car reeked of cigarettes when the air was turned on and had cigarette ash burns on the armrest. They claimed to have no knowledge of these issues. I told them that as a respectable new car dealer it was incumbent upon them to turn the damaged vehicle over to auction. They claimed the car was purchased at auction and lowered the price $500.00. I find this behavior from a franchised new car dealer to be REPREHENSIBLE, these people are nothing but shady used car salespeople and should be ashamed of themselves. A franchised dealership should not be buying cars from auction. They are at the auction for a reason, they're damaged. A new car dealership should hold themselves to a higher standard and the public should expect this higher standard. That's why we visit and pay a little more. I will never set foot in this place again. Thanks for wasting my time and money!!!

I had my car in for service. Kenny the service center man who worked on my car said I needed a new transmission and control module. He could not tell me what was wrong with the transmission but charged me $150.00 for it. He said it would cost almost $6000. he tried talking me into a new car since $6000 is more than my car is worth 100,000 mi 2008 Mazda 3. I knew then that he was trying to take advantage of me. I made arrangements to have the transmission repaired elsewhere. When I picked up my car today my windshield was cracked. They replaced my windshield wipers because of a recall from 2011 and didn't mention it to me. They know they cracked my windshield and they did not replace it or admit to it. I don't know how these people sleep at night. Not a shred of decency in these people.

We went into the dealership to just look and left with a new car. Our lease was coming up and we weren't really sure how the process worked. A salemen, Charlie Jackson, was able to walk us through it. We saw a car that we really liked and it turned out we able to acquire it. Everyone at Schwartz treated us as a friend, from Charlie , to the young man who set up my account on the computer, so Spike the financial guy. All in all it was a pleasurable experience. I am being nice to say it was misleading as the truth is the information I was given was totally false. I did not sign the contract because I was not given that opportunity, but I will not receive any refund, Be careful..

This past weekend, Schwartz Mazda proved to live up to the good reviews it has and proved to be a 5 star dealership. Mark our salesperson was extremely honest and did not pressure us but allowed me and my wife to make decisions that would ultimately make us feel happy and comfortable. While Schwartz Mazda said before I came in that they would be able to come close to some good offers from other Mazda, Toyota and Nissan dealers, Schwartz Mazda including Victor and Lane were able to beat the offers I received. The place stood by their word and made me a happy customer that feels secure in the place I bought my new Mazda. I am looking forward to continuously returning to this place..

After a very very long search for a car, my husband and I went to Schwartz Mazda. We had been to Nissan, Toyota, and other Mazda dealerships and we were either not happy with the cars, the offers or the service. We currently had a 2003 Hyudani Elantra which had so many issues, so we were banking on landing a car soon. We had a tight budget but despite this, Mark and his manager Victor were able to help us meet at a price point that was affordable. They made us feel comfortable and gave us space to make our decisions. Mark was great because he not only made us laugh, but he was very understanding and didn't want us to make a purchase that was over our head. The dealership atmosphere is very calm and friendly. Lane was very kind and made the financing / paper work experience very smooth. We are happy with our purchase and most of all we felt at ease about our decision.

I have been having my truck serviced here for over 10 years now I am a small one truck buisiness, Jack is one of the best people I've ever dealt with in Service, Schwartz is a very busy place and they service big company's with fleets of trucks, and whenever I call Jack always remembers me and treats me like I'm there only Costomer. He knows I need my one truck I own for my living and they always take me right in and always have the work done in the time I need it done. And never ever in over 10 years have I ever had a service call back on any work they ever performed! That's an Amazing track record! Mike their head truck mechanic is by far in my opinion the best in the buisiness. Yes truck parts and service is expensive no matter where you go, but I never have to worry about getting ripped off, not here this is a family owned buisiness for decades and they are by the book. I never have to worry or ever question my bill, because they have never mis diagnosed a problem. It's always perfect. That's really hard to find these days. For me the most important thinks is knowing my truck will be fixed right, because if it breaks down, I'm out of business! Thank you Jack and Mike for many years of great service. I am due for a new truck in a few years and I will be for sure buying my truck from Schwartz, there's not even another consideration! Highly recommended!!!

If you are like me, you will need to look no further than Schwartz Mazda!The deal I had with Schwartz was a difficult one, and they were incredibly fantastic right through the whole deal. This is why I did business with them from 200 miles and 3 states away! Each person that I talked to at Schwartz was so helpful and willing to do whatever it took to get me into the car I wanted. I leased a car from Schwartz Mazda a few days ago and I was super pleased with the service that I received there! First, I went in kind of late and my salesperson, Mark, and manager, Pete, stuck it out the entire time. For that, I'm really grateful. Even the receptionist stayed (well, because Mark was her ride home). I couldn't stop thanking them for staying late and allowing me to go home with this awesome 2015 Mazda 3. Mark and Pete did a great job working with me so I could get this car. We went back and forth a handful of times, but at no point did I feel that they were being that typical schmoozy car salesman. They leveled with me and showed a lot of compassion. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. They knew their stuff. They followed-up with me the following day to say they found something in my old car and I could come pick it up. They let me know if they had the insurance binder from my insurance company. They really kept me in the loop with things that were happening behind the scenes. Overall, I look forward to coming in again in 3 years to pick up another Mazda to lease! :)

So the guys over at Schwartz were great. I first bought a Jetta as my first car from them, friends of the family. A few months later - circumstances changed and was able to get a newer car that for the requirements that I had. Now this cx7, the second car , has been great - never had an issue with it and always kept up on the service on it until about a month ago when my engine decided it was time to explode - now originally this was going to cost upwards of half of the cost of the car - instead John Schwartz and Charlie Jackson called up MazdaUSA and was able get most of the cost of the engine replacement covered which was the biggest help ever. When your randomly stuck with an almost 8 grand bill and primary transportation broken things get very uneasy very quickly - but they settled that with the best result I could have asked for

this dealership has the worst service department I have ever dealt with. they never call you back.I have a mazda cx5 2013, with 70k miles....this car stinks, it has the worst pick up of any car I have owned in 30 years of owning cars...the dealer told me it needed a new transmission and it would cost $7,000 and not covered under warranty...I have never owned a car brand new and had a transmission go before... what a piece of junk! do not get work done here as they will rip you off...I am having my transmission fixed for half the price...THEY ARE THE WORST!

Totally disappointing experience.They say one thing on line or when contacting me, and when you go in(at appt. time) you get someone else that does not even seem know any matters discussed prior to appt., not even the offers or quotes on their web site.Due to my "wasted time" experience, I recommend that just go to another dealer.They dont even reply to emails/questions, in response to 'sales person's' request email.

First, I never go reviews...who has time? But I wanted to make time for Charlie because he deserves it. I went to Schwartz and test drove a car that I found on-line. What stood out was not just the friendly receptionist, or Natalie who I initially met, a darling, or Zack (if he has blue eyes and was very tan, that was who it was) who did an excellent job of showing us all the features and went on the test drive, but the real star was Charlie. When I first met Charlie he came towards me with his arm extended for a handshake and I looked at him and said to myself 'I want to do a deal with him.' Charlie is a true salesman. Knowledgeable, willing to work with you, polite, a straight shooter and he kicks it old school. There is no wool he has stashed to pull over your eyes. That is the type of person I like to do business with and GIVE my business to. I had papers drawn up at another dealership with a nicer car that I could have afforded. It was the same model, 10K fewer miles and 1 year newer with a re-designed body. For all intensive purposes many would say that's the car I should have bought. But a few things kept me from it. One, the other dealership's their trade-in offer was low ( $1500 lower) and Charlie came up to do the deal. (We met at a middle ground.) There was a huge difference between the monthly payments of both dealerships' deals (due to the sticker prices), but even when the other dealer came down, and it was very tempting not to buy the other car, I honestly think the deal felt right with Charlie and that's why we bought from him.That's how much a salesperson can sway a deal. There was nothing wrong with the other dealership, but I will be handing out the stack of Charlie's cards I grabbed and not because of a referral fee, because I know I'm sending them to someone who will get them a good deal on a quality car with honesty and integrity. Go see Charlie and tell him Wendy sent you. He may roll his eyes, but he will probably smile. He might tell you what a pain in the xxx I was; although he doesn't know I worked for a Fortune 500 and specialized in contract negotiations....led the state statistically, actually. So I know I was more challenging than some, but that's how I know he's a good guy. He put up with me and did so with charm and grace. He's truly a stand up guy.Now go see Charlie! You'll get a great car, I promise! ;)

We worked with Zach Goldstein who was very helpful in explaining the new 2016 model. He clearly explained and demonstrated how this would be a great family car - considering we are expecting our first child in just a few months. He was patient and did all he could to get the financing options we were looking for in our 36 month lease. After a short time working with Zach, we were in the parking lot getting ready to leave with our new vehicle. I've had the CX-5 for just under a week and absolutely love it and am extremely satisfied with how the staff at Schwartz was able to accommodate our needs.

We were shopping around for a "newer used car " while shopping a friend recommended we try Schwartz Mazda so we did . We were greeted by Charlie Jackson who was friendly but didn't press us. We explained what we were searching for and he showed us 3 cars all barely used low mileage we were impressed Charlie told us to take our time and think about it so we left . Driving home my wife and I rehashed each car and we decided to turn around and go back to the dealership and talk . We no sooner pulled in and Charlie was walking out the door to greet us. I explained what I was looking for, american, low milage, but a good price and a good history.Charlie, our sales rep, brought me right to a Chrysler 200 with less than 20k miles, based on what I knew my credit was I thought it would be just out of my price range, we explored a few other options but I kept going back to the 200. Charlie was able to get me a great rate, and I have been in love with my Chrysler ever since. While searching for a car dealership that had the new Mazda MX5 / Miata, I was lucky enough to discover the Schwartz dealership in Shrewsbury NJ and a salesman by the name of Neil Rosenstein. We live on Long Island so I did most of my correspondence via email. Neil would always respond within, literally, minutes. He worked it out so that I could put a deposit down over the phone and make only one trip to the dealership when the car was ready to pickup. When Neil discovered that my wife and I were taking public transportation to NJ, so that we could drive home together with the new car, he immediately offered to pick us up at the train station. I could go on and on but will stop here. The next time I buy a Mazda, I will go out of my way to travel to Shrewsbury, NJ, and the Schwartz Mazda dealership, and when I get there, I will ask for Neil Rosenstein.

When we went looking at Mazda 6s a week ago, sales consultant Brad Gates rode in the back seat as both my wife and I took a long test drive of the 2016 Mazda 6 Grand Touring model. He explained all the features as we drove; an especially nice feature is the "Sport" switch, which revs up the engine to give you extra acceleration at the cost of slightly worse gas mileage. With the Sport switch turned on, the 4-cylinder engine accelerates like a 6-cylinder. He was very patient as my wife had a lot of questions about features, and when we departed we understood the vehicle's features very well. Today, one week later, we went back to buy the car, and Brad got us a very fair price. I would definitely go back to Schwartz if I am in the market for a Mazda.

I came to Schwartz Mazda after a horrible experience at Sansone Auto Mall. I was shopping for a Mazda 3 and Sansone told me they had secured and located a vehicle for me which they had not. I immediately stopped working with Sansone and I ended up checking inventory on Mazda's website and found that Schwartz had my exact vehicle on their lot. When I called them and spoke to Neil and explained what I had been through with Sansone, he advised that I would not get that kind of treatment at Schwartz. When I came into the showroom, Neil introduced us to Mark who would be handling our transaction. Mark was a pleasure to work with. He was down to earth and didn't give us the normal car salesman run around. Both Mark and Neil honored the true car price for the car and they gave me a fair price for the remote start installation. Even dealing with their finance department was easy and pleasant. They didn't try to sucker us into adding anything else we didn't want. What really impressed me was after we finalized the sale on the car, Mark sat with me and my boyfriend for over an hour and helped gave us a tutorial on all of the features of the car. He even helped me set up my favorites and linked my phone!!! Most sales people would send you on your way after they get their money but Mark really wanted to be sure that we knew everything the car had to offer. After our experience with Schwartz, I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for great customer service. I can tell you that we live about 40 min away and we will come back to Schwartz again when we are ready to buy another car and we will definitely recommend them to our family and friends.

Tommy was fantastic from start to finish! He worked for 2 solid days to get us the best deal on our car purchase. You could tell he was on a mission to get the best deal for us. We walked away with a car with a lower payment and interest rate that we could have imagined. I purchased a used Mazda6 in January, and no less that 3 days later it had to be repaired. Which they did take care of it. I had the oil changed there and now its March and my engine is finished ! A repair shop said it had no oil in it. There was no indication of any oil leaking or any lights on. What the xxxx happened? I called Schwartz and they offered no help but did talk to the repair shop. My car sits in the repair lot dead needing a engine that nearly costs the amount of the car. Thanks Schwartz!

Once we checked out the 2007 Jeep Commander and the salesman showed us all of it's features, we were sold! We purchased a vehicle from this dealership it was an easy transaction, of course friendly and accommodating until they get your hard earned money and then nobody knows you after that. We were assured by the internet manager and the sales person that the 2004 SUV with 86,000 miles on it we were buying was a one owner low miles vehicle that was checked thoroughly by the dealerships expert service technicians and is free from any major issues. so we drove to the dealer almost 100 miles away to purchase the vehicle from them figured it was a low mileage vehicle and it was checked by their expert service technicians we did not purchase an extended warranty for $2000 extra dollars that cost them $500 bucks. So we did not even make it home to Pennsylvania before the transmission failed that very night we purchased the vehicle. Then no one at the dealership would even call you back, you leave massages for the salesman, internet manager and the general manager and emails etc then you get no repliesnothing. Then the owner says hey too bad We purchased the vehicle paid in cash in full and thats what you get from these guys. nothing. Do not buy from these guys, they are dishonest and shady right from the top. I would not buy a lawn mower from these guys.

I went through USAA Car Buying Service and located the exact vehicle I wanted at this dealership, although I like in Southern Delaware, 175 miles away. I got an agreed upon sale price from Nataie and had my father drive me the three hours to this USAA certified dealership with my USAA E-check. When I got the bill of sale, I was shocked to see that salesman Charlie had tried to slip in $199 for etching which was neither requested nor performed as well as a $249 Preferred Customer package which was also a sneak-in phantom fee. These were in addition to a $299 dealer document fee. After getting those first two fees removed, I completed the E-Check and was all set to make the three hour drive home in my newly purchased car. That's when business manager Vic came out and told me he wouldn't release the vehicle to me. I'd have to drive home and do the six hour round trip yet again the next day when the overnighted check arrived. I was in disbelief. I escalated the issue to Vic's supervisor and then the owner to no avail. I called USAA and they too were in disbelief. They have started an investigation into why this dealer would not accept USAA financing to release the vehicle. I have paid for my last two new vehicles at other dealerships with USAA E-Check and drove away same day. i would advise all USAA members, veterans, and military families and dependents to avoid this dealership because of the terrible inconvenience they put veterans like me through.

I bought my Mazda used from another dealer. A few weeks later I discovered the car wasn't driving optimally. After months of complaining and taking the car back (4 times) for service the other dealer actually told me to bring it to a Mazda dealer. So I bought the car to Mazda Schwartz. At Mazda Schwartz the highly trained mechanic discover a multitude of hidden problems. They corrected them and the car now drives wonderfully. I then bought the invoice back to the previous dealer and discussed the whole situation with the president. They were at least ethical enough to reimburse me half. Dealing with Mazda Schwartz was easy and efficient. The customer service rep was kind and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The mechanic was an expert and expedient. The car was done in half the time as expected ( and i needed a lot done). I would definitely recommend them and use them for future services.

I just walked into Schwartz Mazda with a friend to check out a compact SUV, as I was looking for options. The moment I entered I was greeted and was immediately given the choice of vehicles on stock. I've heard so many good things about the new Mazda 6 I decided to test drive it at Schwartz Mazda. My friends know the owners Jim and Jon and have recommended that I give them a try. I'm glad that I did, their staff was exceptional! I took the new Mazda 6 out on Navasink River rd and was amazed at how it handled. Also how much I could get for half of what I was paying for the BMW. It drove better and had more options, so I'm sporting a new Mazda 6 Black on Black, blind spot monitoring, leather, back up camera and more. I was interested in a used Mazda 6. I called at 4 pm to check the availability. The lady on the phone confirmed that the car was still there so I scheduled an appointment for 6 pm. When I arrived they pulled up my information and got ready to show me the car. After 5 minutes they told me the car was already sold. It is hard to believe they had sold it between 4 and 6 pm. And why did they not call me since I had particularly asked for that car?!!! But it is even worse that they wanted to show and sell me other more expensive cars.

The staff is honest, professional and courteous. I received an excellent price for my trade-in and a very competitive price for our new Mazda. I had just recently moved into the area and needed a few routine things done to my Mazda. I usually go for the chain type places but I was driving in town and noticed Schwartz Mazda. I said what the heck, as long as they don't try to take a bite out of me like the Loch Ness monster, at least what I need will get done. I was shocked when I walked right in and was helped right away, no appointment was needed...in a dealership!! What was even more crazy was the prices. They were actually lower than the chain places I was used to! Most dealerships will beat you over the head with their high prices in service, not this place!! I will definitely be going back for service and when I need to, to shop for a new car!!

My experience was a total unexpected pleasure. The reason I say unexpected is I had little interest in leasing another CX9,not that I was unhappy with it I just wanted to return it and get a Chevy. Neil and Mark made me feel at home right away, that made me hang around. It should be noted that I truly hate the whole car buying experience. Joe was able to work a very fair deal and Anthony mad the financing torture minimal. This Fab Four should be commended in dealing with a true pain in the ass like myself. When I walked in there was less than a 10% chance of me releasing another CX9 and in the time it takes to fly to Florida I was driving one home

I took an internet quote for a new 2014 mazda 3 and TJ promptly replied back with the internet special price. The price seemed to be quite competetive so I called back to confirm if its for the right model year and that if there are any other charges applicable. I was told that apart from the price i owe the regular dealer fee + applicable taxes. Reading all the good reviews on dealerrater.com I decided to take a chance and visited them, it took me an hour to get there. Neil & TJ greeted us and Neil took us for a test ride. So far so good! Just when I anticipated that its a walk in and walk out with the car deal, Neil sat down on table with paper and asked if I currently owe mazda and that If I am eligible for military discount. He told me that the internet special price includes those discounts. Little did I know that this dealership expects everybody who visits them to have owned a Mazda and has served in Military!!! How ridiculous does that sound. Upon arguing with him, he showed me a little "Starred" clause which somewhere in some lost corner of the email says that the price includes the qualified discounts. I was quite upset having driven all the way to schwartz mazda and felt cheated by this dealership. I advice anybody who walks in with there internet special to please clarify over the phone regarding the validity of the quote. These people are here to cheat. One more tip, I noticed that they were quite conservative over the phone, means they were not fully transparent with the customers over the phone too as they want you to come in with the falsified quote. I wouldn't suggest anybody to make a purchase with them.

Took me around the lot and walked thru each model, explaining all the features and differences until I found the one I wanted. No nonsense negotiation, I never felt pressured, and ended up getting an honest deal on a great car. This dealer definitely has a family owned feel to it, and it's nice to support a place that has been in the local area for so long. While the inventory might be bigger at other mega-corporate dealerships, the service here makes the difference, and they actually were the only place around that had the color, interior and options I was looking for. Gotta love Ernie Vee in finance too! I am absolutely going to recommend this dealership to family and friends.

Last time I was there I needed brakes, so after my coffee and massage they gave me a loaner because I had to get to work.Their oil changes are only $29.95' I would recommend them to a friend!

Purchased a "loaded" 2014 CX5 GT+tech a couple weeks ago. Neil, the Internet guy, seamlessly handed me off to Robin, one of several sales consultants. The test drive was better than expected, and the gadget count was higher than my wife's brand new Acura TL. Pricing was about as expected, and the "F&I guy" wasn't as bad as most. Only rub in the sale was I wanted just FWD, and the dealership was committed to selling AWDs, so they had to bring it in from another dealership. The sales manager even offered AWD for "only" $500 over FWD, but I was committed. When it got to the dealership ... 131 miles on the odometer! I was PO'ed at that and considered walking, but it's hard to find any front wheel drive versions of this model around. (You want FWD for better mileage, reduced weight, reduced cost, reduced maintenance, etc etc. We don't get snow on the Jersey Shore.)Picked up the car in the rain, which is usually a no-no. The outside was fine. The issue I found that evening, though, is that the inside of the glove box was scuffed up, as if some mechanic had chosen this to be his personal nap car and found a place for his work boots to rest.. This could easily have come from the other dealership this way, but I have to fault Schwartz for not catching it at new car prep. At any rate, the car went right back in to service the next morning and a replacement part was ordered. They'll put it in when I pick up my registration in a couple days.This is a small, family-style and family-oriented dealership. Everyone knows each other by first names, including the two Schwartzes I met. I think I've been treated completely fairly so far, and hope interactions with the service department go as well.And I hope Mazda lives up to its end, too. This is not a premium car label but it is Japanese-built (Hiroshima), and has the usual tightness of assembly. Most Asian cars, you can go around them and not find an ounce of steel or plastic that's not needed, Unlike Detroit, which specializes in hunks of matter they just can't seem to getting around to designing out of the car, year after year. i Recently bought a 2011 subaru legacy. everything was handles quickly and efficiently. was in and out in less than an hour. crazy right? love the car and got a steal on the price. plus theres a mcdonalds directly across the street when ur hungry. lol. was expection those creeps like the car dealsers on Route 22 but got excelent service!

Ann was extremely un friendly and seemed uninterested in our business. Also lied to us saying mazda no longer made the 2.0l sport cx-5 and it was only a 2013 model although mazdas website and every other dealership disagreed and had them in stock. I will never step foot on this property and will advise anyone i know to do the same.

Contacted Schwartz a few weeks ago and spoke wth Neil. After an enjoyable conversation I decided to stop by to test drive the 2014 CX-5. Car was ready when I got there. Neil was professional, courteous and informative. No pressure to buy as I mentioned I needed to do more research. Neil followed up to see if I had any questions. Advised Iwanted to do a night time test drive, which I did with Neil two days later. Car was ready to go when I stopped by for second test drive. Negotiations were cordial and Neil and his manager were professional. Settled at a fair and competitve price for CX-5 and my trade. Car was ready as promised several days later, since I had several options installed. Paperwork was straightforward and Ernie in finance was informative. Since purchasing Schwartz has contacted me several imes to check in on satisfaction. I have purchased many cars over the years, and buying from Schwartz was one of the better experiences. Neil is informative and professional and an overall great guy.....a significant departure from the stereotypical car person. I would highly recommend Neil and Schwartz if you are in a market for a Mazda.

I went to the Dealership in reference to a Subaru Forester car I saw listed in Kelly Blue Book. It stated excellent condition and the car was worth $400 above KBB value. It stated it has a clean carfax with all the service records completed at a Subaru dealership and to ask to see them at the dealership in person. I arrived at the dealership and asked to speak with Gwen, the saleswoman I had spoken to about the car over the phone. Gwen showed me the car and warmed it up while getting the plates and copying my driver's license. When I went to look at the car it was dark except for the outdoor lights they had. When I imspected the wheels they appeared a little worn but it was hard to see. When I asked Gwen I was told they were in good condition. Again, I trusted this dealership because she get telling me how honest they were and in business for 93 years. I also trusted her because the carfax stated the car was worth $400 above retail value because of it's excellent condition as told to me by Gwen. When we got in the car I inquired if this car had a timing belt or chain because I new around 100,000 miles those things need to be changed are quite expensive. I was told by Gwen that she believed it was a chain, since she was an expert as their website advertises about their salesman/ woman I trusted the information she gave me.As we took the car for a drive she stated the loud wind noise was due to the flags and nothing else. She kept reminding me of the excellent carfax and excellent condition in and out and the reputation of The Schwartz Brothers I trusted the info she gave me.When we arrived at the dealership I asked to see the service records that were advertised that they had and would show on request. I was told by Gwen that she could not show me because I was a third party and that would be illegal. I reminded her that her advertisement said they could rplinish them oon request, this was not so. I asked if I could get a warranty and she said they do not give warranties for cars over 100,000 mis but the carfax and their reputation was enough. So I purchased the car for $8,000, about $500 below retail value on KBB> After I filled out the papers I had to sign a waiver of "as is".On the way home the passanger window was making a terribly loud noise as if the window was open, but it was not. Schwartz Bros. apparently placed flags ooutside the car to cover up noise. Whn I got close to home the brakes were squealing when I would press on them. In the morning when the sun was out I could see the cracked horrible unsafe condition of the tires. This is not an exceptable condition for a car listed on carfax and KBB as in excellent condition worth $400 about retail value. When on KBB website excellent lists :_ has clean tiltle and will pass a safety and smog inspection. That is not so whereas the brakes are not in a safe condition nor are the tires. - the website also says all tires much match and be like new, these tires are far from new.- has complete and verifiable service records. When I asked to see them I was told they could not show me because I was a thhird person.I emailed my complaint to the company the next day and did not hear a response back. The following Monday I receive a call from Ernie asking how my car was and if I would reccomend them. When I called him back and told him I was unsatisfied all he could say was "you signed the waiver As_Is" This was two days later. When I asked to speak with the manager he hung up on me. This does not support their advertisement stating "We treat the needs of each Individual customer with paramount concern". NOt addressing the problem and hanging up is not "paramount concern". Again they have not demonstrated their commitment to excellence! I want new tires and brakes put on my car for safety. Excellent condition as they advertised should include this as stated on the KBB webpage and their advertisement.

I have bought plenty of cars in my lifetime. However my purchase of the Mazda CX-9 from Schwartz Mazda was the best ever. I went online and setup an appt for a test drive with the internet sales manager Neil. We spoke a little bit on the phone and we discussed what I was looking for in the vehicle. I then met with him a few days later. Upon my arrival Neil had pulled the exact vehicle I wanted in the front of the dealership which was very accomidating. At most dealerships they scramble around wasting time to find a car for a test drive. We then test drove the car and the ride was great. We then got down to the price. Which is usually the worst part about buying a car. However Neil was very upfront and gave us a price that was great and fit my budget without the haggling back and forth. Its now been a week since I got the car and have had multiple calls from the dealership thanking me for my business and making sure everything went well. I will def recommend schwartz mazda to my friends and family that are in the market for a car. Thanks again.

Setup a test drive appt with neil. said he had the model I was looking for in stock but since they didn't have the color, they could get it in a day or two. went there, no car. only one they had was on the showroom floor. strike 1. after discussing the prices and where I was in a purchase, carmine (manager) came and fed me the BS sales pitch for 15mins. Felt I was being lectured on how great there car is and the others don't compare. It was very hard from laughing in his face. Now carmines telling me it would be weeks to find the color I wanted. strike 2. Didn't even let a strike 3 because I was fed up by there tactics and treatment. the only reason I didn't walk away at first for not having the model I was interested in ready to be test driven was that I had a very nice lady (don't recall her name) as a salesperson. AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE A FEW HOURS AND BE LIED TO.

I cannot remember the name of the finance man but he was fantastic. Our entire experience at Schwartz was fantastic from the moment we started dealing with them. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and knowing that I was in a rush to get back to work, they really sped the process along. I was also really pleased with them not pressuring us and giving my husband and I the space and time to discuss our options. I will recommend them to everyone I know who is shopping for a new car. We have bought many cars in our life and this was the best experience either of us ever had!

I made an appointment for a used Subaru on the internet. The car was prepped and ready to review but my wife didn't want it. See saw a used Mazda Tribute in the lot and liked it very much. I was also impressed but thought the price was too high for my budget. We told Tom what we wanted and my price range and asked him for any other cars. He told us to wait a little. He came back from seeing the general manager and lowered the Mazda Tribute my $2000. He got ready and I test drove it that day and more importantly my wife loved it. We took it home that day. I was really impressed with the complete experience. I had a very bad experience with a previous dealer (Jim Curley) in Lakewood. The car was suppose to ready for me to test drive and fluids changed etc. I drove 80 miles round trip to see it. The salesman couldn't find the keys for me to test drive and the fluids it appeared were not changed. Ernie did the paper work and I didn't have enough in my checking account. Also, it was a holiday but I was able to use my credit card. I paid by personal check and the next day. They accepted a regular check and I didn't have to pay extra for a certified or cashier check. We also talked about our military experience. What a great guy and he offered a few free extras for when I bring in my car for service

We bought a brand new 2012 Masda3i. We absolutely love the car and it's our first foreign car.The general manager Carmine was also a great guy. I have only heard good news about Mazda and always wished to own one. The service department has worked on another car that I own and the service was very good and timely. John the salesman moved quickly and allowed me to test drive the car that I purchased. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. My 13 year old daughter gets a kick out of their slogan, May the Schwartz Be With You!, at Schwartz Mazda of Shrewsbury. I am sure that when she learns to drive she will also love this Mazda!

This place is horrible. Bought brand new mazda 3 and it has problems. I take it there and they say nothings wrong with it. But the owner and the sales consultant both told me that the car is idling low. After the car was serviced the owner told me that nothings wrong with it and the car dont shake. But when I brought it there he got in it and told me the car idles low. He told me not to stress we will get it fixed. Well its not and the car is still shaking. They wont do anything else for me. So Im in the process of finding out what else I can do. I have a couple of options. I will not give up until the problems fixed. The only good experience I had there was the sales consultant. His name is Darryl and he was very patient with me and had a good sense of humor. I dont recommend this dealership to anyone but if you do go there ask for Darryl. You will be happy with him.

I went a number of months back to buy a new car. The sales guy was ok - and actually got me into the exact car I wanted. But, after that -the experience went downhill - to dealing with the main guy - to the $$ guy - who complained about his job to me - to the service dept - which was horrible. One reason why I bought it here - from buying it at another dealership - was because they promised loaner cars when I brought the car in for service. So, I go to schedule my first service here - and guess what - no loaner cars allowed!! So, not only was the buying experience poor - and then the service dept poor - BUT - they lied too!!! Definitely a place to avoid!!!!!!

I leased a MX-5 Miata from Schwartz Mazda last week. This is the second vehicle I have purchased new from them in the past 3 months. Darryl Overby is a GREAT and knowledgeable salesman. Do your homework on their website, figure out what you want to pay and somehow Darryl and Carmine will get it done. I have bought many (32) vehicles in my lifetime and Schwartz is one of the best. I highly recommend you ask for Darryl. They also have a tremendous inventory of vehicles.

On my first day of new car shopping, I was visiting a dealer near Schwartz Mazda to test drive a different car. The Mazda 3 was on my list of cars that I wanted to test drive, but I only went to Schwartz Mazda that day, because it was a mile from where I was - it was not my closest Mazda dealer. I met Ann, and test drove the car, and told her when I left that if I decided to purchase a Mazda, even though she was not the closest dealer to me, that I would come back and buy the car from her - and I did! I did all of my research online, and knew what I wanted to pay for the car. I just had such a positive experience with her during my first visit that I really wanted to purchase the car from her. And the experience was about as pleasant as shopping for a new car can be. When my lease is up, should I decide to go with another Mazda, I will return to Schwartz Mazda and to Ann. In the meantime, I just love my shiny new red Mazda 3 hatchback.

Buying a car is one of the most stressful experiences you will ever have to go through. Daryll and the people at Schwartz Mazda took a lot of the stress off and actually made this an enjoyable event (as it should be). My wife and I were looking for a new CX-7 and had already been to two dealerships and could not get the deal we wanted. I looked at the Mazda website for additional dealers and Schwartz was one that was listed so we decided to stop by on Saturday mornning. We were looking at a CX-7 outside the showroom when the salesman came out. He was very polite, introduced himself and asked if he could help us. we told him what we were looking for and he suggested we step into the showroom where he had one on the floor and it was a little warmer. After going over everything with us he brought up a car for us to test drive in the color we had chosen.Once back at the dearlership we sat down to talk numbers. At first attempt he was close to our number but not what we wanted. After a few times back and forth we were able to agree on a price that was exactly where we wanted our payments to be. There was very little pressure and everything was handled in a professional mannerWhat made this exchange even moreenjoyable was that our salesperson did all of the negotations. The manager never came out to talk to us, and everything was done by the salesperson. The only other person we spoke to was the finance manager, who also put no pressure on us and did not try and up-sell us.I would highly recommend this dealership and their professionalism.

We came to purchase a car we saw advertised on the internet, optimum t.v. and auto shopper three different prices. We arrived and were offered the most expensive of the three. We calculated what our payments would be for this particular car, including tax and a high interest rate (we were told that our interest rate would be about 13% due to our so/so credit, by another dealership) we came up with payments of approx $185 per month with $2,000 down and 60 months. The salesman asked me if we got to that payment would you be ready to buy I told him I have $2,000 on me and am ready he then brought us into see the finance manager, although he said "he is like the substitute teacher" can not recall his name (African America gentlemen.) He informed me that those payments couldn't be attained due to the fact that "the bank is like a legal loan shark and that OUR PAYMENTS would be at least $400 per month. He refused to tell us the interest rate, so we left. We came home and used your websites "calculation system" with those payments our rate would be somewhere in the 30%. The only conculsion we could make sense of was that your dealership was trying to make alot of money on this deal. Not only did they want to sell a car and make money, they wanted to legally steal from us! This was a car we were going to buy for our 16 year old son. This was a very disappointing experience, I would never reccomend anyone come to your dealership.

Smaller Mazda Dealer since its shared with Chrysler. This could be a reason why they are very focused on each customer. They are always friendly. Never look to up sell any service package. Always polite and friendly. They offer at times to wash the car while it was in service. They also at times, apply coupons that I don't have for a particular service or when I'm servicing the car for multiple items. Truly one of the rarest professionalism in the auto servicing. I will keep coming back to Schwartz because of the treatment received, especially being a younger customer. Noel knows how to treat younger customers and is hands down, a great person to deal with. Also, compared to other bigger volume dealers, Schwartz has always provided me with a loaner if I request one prior to bringing the car for service. Other bigger volume dealers, could care less. Also appreciate their comment cards about whether you are satisified with the service and rate them. Technicans are also great and personable. They also tend to put the same technican on your car on a regular basis. This builds a bit of trust and confidence as a consumer, especially if there are any problems with the car. They also update any recalls automatically on the car while its in service. Lastly, the techs park the car backwards in the parking space, making it easier for the customer to drive off.
