After an awful experience at another dealer, I contacted Seaview and they were very helpful and communication was great. Answered my questions quick and had the vehicle I wanted. Buying a new car is always stressful and many times buying from a dealer is just too high pressure - an experience that you’d rather not have. Seaview was actually a pleasant experience. They have fair pricing, and they were only slightly pushy. All in all we would recommend them because they give a few extras that you’d be hard pressed to get from a private party or other dealerships. Very thorough detailing, 90 day/3000 mile warranty on engine and major systems, anti theft system installation, free key replacement for 5 years, and they were pretty fast to work with. John was very easy and helpful and just a nice guy.

The quick service (about one hour to change the oil and rotate the tires). There were plenty of chairs in the waiting room and they were comfortable. Plenty of coffee was available. The TV volume was not too loud (so it could be ignored). The WiFi worked very well.

Even though I did not have an appointment, David was able to fit in my oil change and even some corrective work, both of which were done in a timely fashion and a reasonable cost. The Tech even took some extra effort to do a custom modification for the corrective work, which saved ton of time and expense if the part had to be ordered and the work redone.

As is no warranty means..u get what u buy..buyer beware..now fair is fair...we bought extended warranty and noticed a rub issue on our truck..wheels had wrong offset and tires were just too big without a lift..didn't notice rub till we pulled in driveway at home..after the purchase..worked with Seaview..a few hiccups but in the end Seaview stepped up to the plate and helped to fix the problem! I brought my Sky Redline in for a preemptive water pump replacement, because I'm plannning a 5000 mile trip this summer and don't want to get stranded out in the middle of no-where. The water pumps in these cars go bad and leak at about the 50k mile mark and my car has 73k miles on it. I thought getting it done now would be prudent. I arranged an appointment online for a drop off Monday afternoon, and was assured everything was all set and I'd get my car back Tuesday afternoon. Got a call Tuesday afternoon, they hadn't even started on it - they called only to give me a cost estimate. They said it'd be done Thursday for sure. I called on Thursday for a status - they had to check to see if it was done. And it was. I went and pick up my car and on the drive home, the engine began to over heat. When I got home the coolant overflow puked all over the garage floor and the engine temp was 216 degrees. The temp had never previously been over 200. I called the service manager and he said 216 was normal. Well, its not, because it hasn't been and I have the shop manual that says it should be between 185 and 195. I'm going to finish what they were supposed to, and bleed the cooling system of air bubbles - which are causing the water pump impeller to cavitate and keep it from pumping coolant around in the cooling system. They also changed the thermostat - which I did not authorize. And they grossly charged me for the parts - double the retail price I can get at GMParts. I'm never going back to Seaview. A simple job and they couldn't do it. They don't have my recommendation.

review starts with me finding a beautiful Corvette "Vert" of which I had visited many dealerships in the Seattle area prowling for. I liked the color and I liked the year and mileage. Upon inspection of the car, there was a serious paint flaw on the door that somebody had haphazardly tried to touch up with the wrong color. It was ugly!! The interior wasn't detailed, the car hadn't been washed. The car looked as if it had been sitting for awhile...but this was not immediately a concern for me. My salesmen Brian (who was great I might add) said he would address these issues if purchased. Fast forward to the purchase. I did not negotiate on price because I thought the issues that bothered me would be addressed...they were not. After signing the papers for a price that was at the high end of the value spectrum I get delivery. The paint issue is still there, the interior had not been detailed, there was not enough gas in it to get home, and I had to argue with the finance guy Bill about the add ons he kept trying to put on the final price. He still got an anti theft package weaseled on even though I did not want it and did not want it back charged onto the price. I am a little annoyed at this point. Fast forward to the drive home. The car develops a loud creaking, clanking suspension noise from the front going over bumps, and the car pulls. Two things that didn't really manifest themselves in the test drive. The dealership says they will look into the issues I have with the car. I waste 5 hours of my only day off this week for them to spray lubricant on the suspension and tell me it's good. I could have done that, and when I had my mechanic check it out, he said the suspension needed a complete rebuild (bushings). Also, they still will not address the paint issue and keep trying to "brush it under the rug," even though this was important to me to be fixed BEFORE purchase. I have no more time to waste with this dealership as I live 1.5-3 hours away depending on traffic. I cannot recommend this dealership, even though some aspects of the purchase were alright. The customer service stops at or slightly before the sale everybody. There was no fix, no customer service, nor any gesture of goodwill for my issues before and after the sale. Thanks

This really helped me as the vehicle owner understand what work was involved (great customer service). The Seaview service department has been great and is the first dealership that I have had repeated service visits. Over the years it is typically a local mechanic shop that gets my business.

I am ashamed to say I wasn't really paying attention to my mothers taking her car there or for what reasons until she called me up one day so upset about her car- a 1997 Chev Lumina. This car of hers is still brand new, 40,000 orig. mi on it. They had it in for a Gen service appt. nothing strange about that she always takes exellent care of her car and goes along w/ all recomendations from the dealership...Seaview. So when she called so distraugt and beside herself I was quite taken aback. She said " 5,000 to fix her car and they would have it for a week, or she could trade it in on a new car" I said " no way, that car is brand new mom" she told me that " they said if I drove it anymore I could end up on the side of the road broke down" mind you this is an 87 yr old widow and her beloved car is in dire straits, 5,000 dollars worth!!! I told her to get the car home and get a written estimate and to not worry. I am apalled at them for their tactics and when I looked over their cheesy estimate and then at the driveway with no telltale signs of any of the symptoms of said reasons for 5,000 of work to be done. I then took the car to my guy and he laughed saying that it would need a water pump a 25.00 part but no hurry could be a year before really needed. Needless to say these guys at Seaview are crooks who take advantage of little old ladies who don't know any better and don't have their husbands to handle car maintinence. It's downright shameful.

I have referred customers and will continue to do so. Financing the vehicle through your dealership could not be easier; it was much more efficient and less time consuming than other dealerships I have dealt with.Most recently I had my vehicle serviced through the shop. The team there seems to be tightly run and well-coordinated. The vehicle was inspected beyond what I anticipated and service department was honest about repair issues and costs. The estimate was almost dead on the nose and cheaper than what my go-to mechanic was willing to charge.I also recently ordered parts through your warehouse. I was surprised when I got the bill, as it was, like the repair work, much cheaper than expected. Having interacted with all these departments at Seaview, I am shocked by the level of customer care and service that is provided. I expect good service when working with a dealership, but I feel I received a step above white glove. With that having been said, I plan on using Seaview for my companies fleet; Repairs, parts, and vehicle replacement.

Bought car 1500+ miles away, I depended on the salesmans self evaluation since I could not be present. I was very thorough in my questions and they were not forthcoming about telling me of all the dents and dings in this car. They LIED in order to cover up the defects so they could sell me a car. Temperature gauge did not work, washers did not work and radio system did not work. When I received the car and made my complaint , they said there was nothing they could do. I went in suspecting need of brake replacement and possible ignition repair and was rather anticipating a heftier bill after having tacking those issues onto my overdue oil change. The service crew checked the breaks and determined that there was still 75% life left and the "sticky ignition" issue was resolved with a new key cut via serial number. I was impressed by the simple professional honesty that ultimately kept my repair bill to an admirable minimum. Furthermore, the expedient Saturday morning finish-time freed my precious weekend up to focus on non-auto concerns. Extremely satisfied customer = me!

A good experience! I got the Bug of my dreams. The salesman who assisted me was very friendly and helpful, did not try to upsell me to a different car (although he did kindly offer a different, lower-priced car with an automatic transmission; the one I wanted came with a manual and I had mentioned that I'd be learning how to drive manual for the car). In addition, he even assisted me in getting my car home to my apartment and offered driving advice during the trip.I do have two complaints, but they're fairly minor. The first is that the salesman did seem to think that because I was a young woman I would somehow be frightened of learning to drive shift, despite my repeated statements to the contrary; the second was that the car itself had a few VERY minor issues (no CD player despite the paperwork for it claiming it did, intermittent electrical issues that caused the remote control to not work that the in-house repair claimed were an issue with the remote control not pairing correctly). Still definitely a good place to go!

We had the detail special done on our Ford Explorer. It has not looked this good since the day we bought it brand new in 1996. they did a great job and I am amazed at how smooth the outside of the Explorer is. Unfortunately I have to back it out of the garage in the snow to take my wife to her hair dresser this morning. The Saturn is covered in snow and we will leave the Cadillace CTS in the garage. Kristen took the time to listen to my story and even helped print repair info for my truck. She told me she thought it was a wiring harness for knock sensors. Another shop had replaced sensors and computer. I spent over $1k at another place. The bill ended up being $200 with diagnosis and repair. I should have listened from the get go. I just surprised my wife on her birthday with a 2008 Dodge Charger R/T and it went flawlessly! A huge shout out to Joe Jones and all the staff at Seaview. Went there twice and they had me in and out in under 30 minutes. That is unheard of at a car dealership. I have bought other used cars in the past and this one by far was the most pleasant process. The people that work with Joe at Seaview will do whatever it takes to not only secure you as a client but to make sure that your car buying experience is second to none. I will start by saying that this is the first time I have ever written a review like this. I thought I'd share that my experience with Joe Jones was excellent. I spent a total of 1.5 hours making and closing my deal. My time is valuable to me like it is to many others. To be fair, this vehicle is not my primary driver, I didn't have financing issues, and my trade was spotless (and they recognized it). If one of my family or friends were in the market for a GM product; I'd steer them to Joe at Seaview.

My experience started with Joe Jones, we made telephone contact a couple of times. I then on a Saturday morning early (7AM) arrived at Seattle Sea-Tac. Joe was there to pick me up and take me to Seaview GMC! We arrived prior to the Dealership opened, we entered through a side door and there was the Cypress Green 1965 Chevy II Nova SS. I had a good look at the SS and then we had it put up on the hoist and looked under! Then off we went for a test ride, the rest is history as I bought the SS and had it shipped to it's new home at Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Other Seaview personnel were, Britta Olson, Leslie Foxx (Office Manager), Janis (in titles) and Paul Kosiba (Service) were all very personable and nice to deal with. Joe then returned me to Sea-Tac. We have had several phone calls and emails since that day!!!!!!

This is a Horrible Dealership. Twice now I have gone there looking for (the good deal) car. And twice I've been lied to and ended up buying my vehicle elsewhere with much greater success and service. Hyundai of Everett and Performance Kia of Everett are much better!!!! My suggestion is drive right past Seaview no matter how many balloons or gorillas you might see. Deals ARE better elsewhere.

Did not mention you may not pay over phone then pick up vehicle after closing. It may get towed from bar next door because you can't get it from their secured lot and no offter to accommodate the customer i will NEVER use them for service again!!!

Last summer I had my 1998 Corvette towed there so they could hook the positive lead to the battery. I purchased a new battery there with the thought I would install it myself. Given that I had lost the bolt down in the engine compartment and that the replacement bolt they sold me was for the negative lead I said heck. I will have the car towed in and they can also replace to lead to the starter while they were at it since it was looking in need. They charged me around $110.00 to hook the battery up (just the positive lead) and they didn't replace the lead as requested!! The gal at the counter said they had to run a "diagnostic". xxxx I diagnosed it for them! I won't ever go back and neither will my wife (she has a 2004 Corvette). We now have our Corvettes serviced elsewhere.

I wish that I could rate this dealer with a negative rating. This was absolutley the WORST experience buying anything in my whole life. Up to the point we thought everything was approved and the car was our, everything was OK, then BANG! Down hill from there. It was horrible... our "interest" that they promised us went up 7%, they had a problem with everything they promised us would be fixed (and tried to not complete the work order), EVERY single person we worked with was RUDE AS HELL AND they Lie! I called to get the number for our financing company (wells fargo) and they told me that they do not talk to customers and they have no number they can give to me to. I googled wells fargo and they said that is not the case at all and said here is the number in case we get disconnected. I then found out that they hadnt received the paperwork yet. It was one thing after another... By the way, we wouldve just given the vehicle back, however had already put $300 in upgrades into it after we originally thought that the whole thing was already done and over with. SEAVIEW BUICK IS A SCAM!!!!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM AT ALL!!!!!!!!

They replaced my front axle boot seal just over a year ago, and I just had to have it repaired again! They are also exorbitantly overpriced and will charge you for virtually every diagonostic test. My service engine soon light came on after one of their checks, and when I asked them about it, they said their check didn't cover that, and that it would require a more extensive (and expensive!) check to find out what was wrong! I finally had the sense to visit Aamco down the street for a free diagnostic check. Their prices are much more reasonable, they guarantee their work for two years, and they will even install parts for free if it's an easy job. (Seaview Chevrolet wanted to charge me $55.00 to do the same installation). Seaview also charges much more for parts than car shops (e.g. O'Reilly's). I would definitely seek a 2nd opinion on their repair quotes!

Absolutely atrocious customer service. It's not often that I complain, but these guys employ some of the most unpleasant people. Their prices are higher compared to others in the area, but I was forced here due to availability, I absolutely regret every minute of it. I will never return.

Okay I said if they fixed the problems with my car I would change my bad review.... So here it is, yes I would reccomend Seaview again because even though my car had some serious issues at first, and it seemed up in the air if they were going to fix it free of charge... but they are indeed fixing the problems, and they even gave my husband and I a loaner car while ours is in the shop! Thankyou very much Seaview I appriciate it very much <3

I went to this dealership a week ago looking for a GMC Terrain. Cathie (saleswoman) and Bronco (finance manager) couldn't have been more helpful getting my family in a new SUV. They answered all our questions intelligently, and bent over backwards getting us at a pricepoint we were comfortable with. The dealership didn't have the exact paint color we wanted so they had it shipped over from another dealership, and in the meantime they took the car we had at the time and allowed us to drive one of their new vehicles with gas paid for one week!I would recommend you go to this dealership and talk with Cathie and Bronco, they'll do ya right.

This is a follow up to my review yesterday. I had emailed the company with my issues and the owner immediately called me the next morning. He was very concerned that I had been pushed off by one of his service people and asked me to take the vehicle in first thing Monday. I had originally been told that I would be taken home by a courtesy shuttle by the first guy if I brought it in too but Chris is arranging a replacement car for me. I'm impressed that he cares enough about someone being unhappy with an experience at his shop - so much so that he took it all under his own wing and is taking care of everything. He is also going to reimburse me the $100 we spent on the battery. To follow up then - yes, you may get a car w/ issues but if you pursue and keep trying to get to the right person, they will always assist and make sure you're happy!

SEAVIEW CHEVROLET IN LYNNWOOD WA IS A TOTAL RIP-OFF. I took my elderly mother to Seaview Chevrolet in Lynnwood Washington on June 26, 2010 to shop for an inexpensive car for errands. We went to Seaview in part because my mother had received a "check" in the mail from Seaview for $2,078 toward the purchase of ANY used vehicle. We read ALL parts of the check and associated mailer and there was no minimum purchase stated. The dealership had advertised an older sedan on their website with a notation to "contact dealership" for the price. My mother called and was told the purchase price with the "check" applied would nearly be "a wash". My husband called before we left and was quoted $3,000. Keep in mind, the worth of the vehicle was around $1,500 at most. We certainly did not expect to get the vehicle for nothing but DID expect the quoted price and "check" to be honored. When the dealership saw that we had one of their "checks" the price was increased to $4,995 by their sales manager. Tony, the sales person who was "helping out" because of the Seaview mailer, relayed the new price to us after his huddle with the sales manager. Tony told us that he assumed the price difference to be because my mother had spoken with Robin Green, the internet sales person. Tony assured us that Robin was in the Seaview building next door and that we could discuss the matter with her further. We went directly to the building indicated and found it closed and locked. We didn't bother knocking; all the lights were out and everyone was very visibly gone from the glass front building), presumably long before we were sent there. We did not return to the dealership nor will we. Of all of the dealerships that I have visited over the years I have never seen one so blatantly dishonest. I will be addressing a complaint to the state Attorney General's office in the hopes that others are not treated similarly.SEAVIEW CHEVROLET AT 17909 HIGHWAY 99 IN LYNNWOOD, WA WAS NOTHING BUT A SCAM AND RIP- OFF!

I always take my 3 vehicles here. The service staff always delivers high customer service and has alot of knowledge. I never feel taken advantage of. I trust them. They have saved me money over the years, and I appreciate that. I tried going to goodyear once to "save money" but guess what? Their labor rate was HIGHER than Seaviews. They bought the parts from Seaview then sold them to me.. So why not just go there directly?I love these guys!

These guys are shady! Do not ever do business with this group. They ran our credit report even thougth I we were very clear we did not need their fianancing. Tried to sell a car we didn't ask for. There are many car honest dealers on Highway 99. Keep driving.

I would like to echo the first reviewer as well. I just finished my loan for my Silverado and it was BY FAR the worst vehicle I have ever had. They took full advantage of my auto-buying naivete and got me "up-side down" in the deal. But even that I could overlook except for the fact that EVERY MAJOR SYSTEM in the truck failed and needed repair during the course of my loan.Partial list is as follows:Transmission- completely rebuiltBrakes- complete system failureHeads- CrackedStarter, water pump, Battery,- all replacedSunroof- leakingCheck Engine light - Came on ONLY after all paperwork signed and I'm completely on the hook.There are more than this, but I think my point is made. Of course the question would be asked " What about normal wear and tear?" and " That vehicle had a lot of miles!" Fair questions, but these problems all occurred in the first year of ownership. The dealer themselves made promises that were never kept, i.e trailer hitch and handling the transfer of my trade-in effectively . I only got my promised canopy after multiple visits and haranguing because,presumably, their money was in their pocket and they were through with me. I don't want anything..No apology , no coupon, no letter. I just want to keep anyone else from damaging their credit, finances, and peace of mind by purchasing a vehicle there. Cheers,n

We were in the market for a certain car that we found on thier website. We called them to ask them for the price. We were quoted a price and told that the car was not there and would be there by 5:00 the next day if we wanted to see it. We agreed and made the appointment to go see it. When we arrived, the salesperson was not working and the car was not there. Then they wanted us to do all the purchasing paperwork before they brought the car to their dealership. We said "no" so they said that they'd still bring it in at 3:00 the next day. Again, the next day, It wasn't there. We decided to forget about that car and found another similar car that we liked. We started the paperwork, which included a trade-in and were told that it would have to go to the financing manager and that we could go home and they'd cal us as they were behind. We were told that the financing manager was responsible for deciding the trade-in value. At 10:00 that night, they finally called us back to tell us that they were waiting for an answer from the bank. We said "how did you send it to the bank if you don't know how much you are asking to finance?" They had yet to tell us the trade-in value of our vehicle, but they sent the paperwork to the bank?? We asked for them to tell us what numbers they sent to the bank, but they kept saying that it was someone else's department and they'd call us back. Finally, they just stopped calling. The banks apparently all turned us down due to the "terms of the loan" We really have no idea how much they were asking the bank to loan to us.We will never go back to that dealership.Lisa
