I wasted 3 hours of after a long day at work sitting in this place. TO MAKE it clear I told the sales man I would only come if making a deal was real. So I told them my terms before I went. So I had deal ready to go sales manager and I went back and forth agreed on a deal. I have a great job and great credit no problem. I waited 3 hours on finance guy to see me. When he finally did he decide to tell me that he would have to wait until the bank opens to talk with them but it shouldn't be an issue. He said I will call you the next morning. Well the next morning came no call so went by there he said "oh i forgot the banks are closed" I said I would just keep my current car. WASTE OF TIME!!!! NO Customer service!!

If you have any expectations of fair and reasonable service then do not come here. I brought my charger here for the airbag recall work which should have taken a few hours. They straight lied to my face when I dropped it off Friday afternoon and said it would be done that evening or Saturday morning at the latest. They didn't even look at it until Monday and I picked it up Tuesday. This is despite scheduling the service a week in advance. A week after this I went to get new tires somewhere else and the shop was unable to remove the lug nuts on 2 wheels because they were so stripped and mangled. The only place I ever had tires rotated was at a Dodge dealership so I brought my cart back here to have a Dodge dealer fix what they damaged. They charged me $86 for this and told me it was my problem not theirs. Even if it wasn't Dodges fault to start with, $86 for changing 2 tires is insane. I was lied to and ripped off with a smile by the Service Manager Rob. That's why they get 2 stars for friendliness.

I've had my jeep to the dealership 10 consecutive times for the top leaking. I purchased my jeep from secret city and paid extras for soft sport top I wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing a jeep especially from secret city oak ridge. I got my jeep back today and I got a cheap looking vinyl top and I sent it right back to the dealership I will post again and let the public know how my particular situation turns out.

I won't be returning there again. After seeing a vehicle they had for sale I called to ask about it. I told the salesman, Jersey, my price range and the vehicle I had for trade-in and what I wanted to to get for it. He told me everything sounded good and he didn't see any reason he couldn't do it. After telling him that it would be 122 mile drive he assured me there wouldn't be a problem. After arriving I drove the truck we sat down to discuss pricing. That's when things went south. They offered me $5,000 less than the trade-in value of my vehicle and wanted to put me out the door a total of $5,000 more than the price we discussed on the phone. After spending about 45 min haggling back and forth and getting the sales manager, Roy, involved we agreed on a price that was still $2000 more than what we discussed over the phone prior to making the drive. The vehicle had a cracked windshield, which they agreed to replace, and told me at the beginning that I could take the truck into a local shop to get replaced and they would take of it so that I wouldn't have to drive 122 miles back to get it replaced there. After all the paperwork was signed, Jersey informed me that I would have to come back there to get the windshield replaced. I reminded him of the agreement and he said there was nothing he could do. After leaving I will say I love the truck but dealing with them has been frustrating. I had to reschedule the first appointment to have the windshield replaced. Communication was poor. Also after 3 weeks the loan on my trade in still hadn't been paid off. I finally decided I would call Roy, the sales manager, about my problems. He seemed annoyed with me that I was calling about this, however he did assist me in setting up a new appointment and found that the dealership didn't send the payoff to my bank until 2 weeks after we made the deal. The check finally showed up at my bank 3 and a half weeks after the trade in. My appointment was set for a Wed at 11 am. After making the 2 hour drive to the dealership the service department didn't have me on the schedule and all they knew was that the windshield company that does their work "was supposed to be there sometime today" but they weren't sure when. I had to wait over an hour for the company to show up. After the windshield was replaced we left as fast as possible. I will do everything in my power to never have to deal with those people again. There is a complete communication break down and the sales team seemed like they would say whatever they needed in ordered to get you there. Once you are there all bets are off.

We were talking with their salesman Jonathan about a vehicle for sale on their website. We gave them our information on the phone to check our credit to see if they could get us financing and Jonathan called us later that evening around 8:30 PM to tell us they had someone willing to finance us and that we would have to come in and do a banking interview I told him that we had to work the next day and it would be Saturday before we could come in. Never once did he say they would not hold the vehicle nor did he state there was much interest on it or we would have come after work. When we were told that the vehicle was sold the next day (after I had to call several times to reach him) my wife called to speak with Tony the manager. What a mistake that was, Tony was rude and very disrespectful to her and said it was our fault that we should have taken the day off of work and come to the dealership if we wanted the vehicle. Sorry Tony but we do have to work. We feel they did not care about selling the vehicle out from under us, and that it was our fault. I hope you d o not treat other customers like you did us.

last week my husband and i decided that our jeep Wrangler wasn't family-friendly anymore and started looking for a new car. my husband worked with Jonathan over the phone about our trade in value, finances and what we're looking to buy. i went the next day while my husband was at work and picked out a suv with the help of the salemen Jonathan and Kenny. they were awesome and gave me their attention all day. however after i got home with it i decided it wasnt the car for me so we called back and talked to Roy. he told us no problem to bring it back in and we could continue the search and find something that we both liked. So once again Roy and Kenny both gave us their attention for another full day. We finally decided on a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. All of them were a pleasure to work.Kenny and Roy helped us out a ton. I would definitely go back there again!

Firstly I understand new owners and the difficulty of the change but that is the excuse for everything done incorrectly it seems. I took my jeep wrangler in for normal upkeep and inspection and even though an appointment had been made 2 weeks in advanced somehow the new owners and change and construction was at fault for my appt not being in the schedule. Ok things happen, the boy that "helped" me seemed unaware of how to handle this running back and forth asking what he should do, finally he explained he couldn't get me in that day but assured me that the next morning at 9am I would be his top priority, 9am the next morning and another day late at work he didn't even remember who I was until I reminded him, finally got that taken care of told them I wasn't waiting to just give me a call back when done. Called that evening he couldn't give me an update, came back in the following day and even though I had just placed new brakes 3 months prior at same location was asked to purchase a brake change, apparently knowing the car and past upkeep isn't on the list of things to know. I get you need to sale but sale me something I may actually need not just the first thing on top of your head. This was a full week of dealing with Mike in service and he didn't seem to care if I was happy or not. Being there the time I was I noticed that they was more cars going into the lot for service but not so many was leaving this led me to understand the reasons of my delays and frustration. Construction and new owners aren't the reason this place has went downhill it's the people working there not knowing what there job is and how to do their job. I've taken my vehicles there since I moved to the area a couple years ago but I will no longer be purchasing any new cars or servicing them there, secret city dodge needs to remain a secret until the place is up and running correctly, loyal customers are understanding during times of change but we still expect a certain amount of professionalism and I'd like to see a little more personal caring from the employees.

I was sent a letter to bring my car in for trade and I called them and told them that I wasn't ready but would be in a couple of months. They listened and left me alone unlike other dealerships and when those couple of months were up I received a phone call from Johnathan reminding me of our conversation. I was ready so I took my car in and received a very good offer that I was satisfied with and purchased a used car. It turns out that I was t happy with that car and took it back and wound up buying a new jeep Cherokee that I just love. You might ask as to why didn't I just buy the new Jeep in the first place? Well that's because Johnathan listened to what I was wanting instead of trying to sell me what he wanted. I had just paid off my car and didn't really want to get into another long car payment. Little did I know I would be much happier if I did. Anyway I took back the used car that I had got and traded it back in and was taken care of very well. They wanted to make sure I was happy and satisfied before I left and I obviously was. I would definitely go here to buy and car and feel comfortable telling people and friends to go here as well. They listen to your needs and they don't pressure you to buy today today today cause sometimes your just comparing right? Anyway great job and kudos to Johnathan, Eric and the entire staff that is involved in helping get the car you want. Great job.

OK, Knoxville area GenIV Viper owners - Secret City in Oak Ridge TN ( http://www.secretcitychryslerdodgejeepram.com/ ) has some car guys there that are serious about service and getting the job done for you. Josh Surgenor is the service manager there, and he was quick not only to call me back (after an internet inquiry - one of those 'fill out the form and we will contact you' deals ) but was almost anxious to do the PCM work (and gave me his personal cell # to boot). Dave was one of the master techs there - and they actually put him and another on the task. Just over an hour later, i was test driving with Dave, and the final checks were done. In my opinion outstanding communications with me and they did a perfect job. Maybe this programming is an easy task, but finding someone around this area that will do it while you wait, and letting YOU drive for the appropriate steps is not easy. I am very happy and would - at least for this task - recommend them.While we were doing the test drive, Dave told me about them having recently completed a blower setup (i am thinking the Paxton or similar) on a viper (probably a Gen III??), so apparently they are capable of much more...RECOMMENDED

Our church needed a new van. We had been searching for a van but had been unable to find what we needed. I contacted James Cogdill and he went out of his way to help. Within two week he found a 15 passenger van for the church with low mileage and within budget. I had done extensive research looking for a used car after I was involved in an accident. I saw a 2014 Dodge Dart on the Secret City website and wanted to check it out. Ken met us at the door, and within minutes I was test driving the car. Ken allowed me to drive a significant length of time, which really gave me a feel for the vehicle. We wanted to trade our Honda Accord for a Mopar minivan. My wife had met Phil Edmunds about six weeks earlier and told him what we were wanting to do, but we hadn't make contact with him since. Then we got into negotiation at another dealer over a vehicle but were on the fence, and they weren't able to make a deal that would decide for us. That day Phil called and said he had a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan that we wanted us to come and look at. My wife had to work but she wanted me to go see it after I got off at work. He brought the Caravan around and it was very nice. We negotiated for a while but it just wasn't within our reach. We are trying hard to get our house paid down and so were limiting ourselves to a certain amount max. I hadn't ate supper and was thinking I need to head on and maybe a year older vehicle would come along that would work out for us money wise. They wanted me to make an offer, but I felt what I could do would just be met with a "we can't really go that far." So I just said I didn't think I could make an offer they could really consider. Before the night was over Bill Owens and James Cogdill got involved, and they came back with the figure I had in my head, which was $1,000 more than the wife and I had previously agreed to as our limit, but felt was worth it in the long run. Called the wife and filled her in, and she was in agreement to go for it. When I left there I called her and said for her to come out and we would go fill the tank up. When I pulled up in the Caravan, she was smiling like a possum, and it made my night. Thanks Secret City for meeting us where we were to make it happen!

There are several reasons we return to this dealership. The main reason is their friendly and honest demeanor. The salesman, Brad, is a long-time employee, and his experience is invaluable. Also, Mr. Cogdill, the owner personally acknowledges and worked once again with us during the process. I went in just wanting to test drive some different cars to see what I liked. Mark Dean was so helpful and kept in touch emailing me cars I might be interested in. First of all they lied to us about the car being a fleet car. Second of all they would not help us with the problems with the car when they were under warranty. He also told us he would call Chrysler and find out if there were other cars with the same problems as ours and never got back to us while avoiding our calls. When our warrenty was out my car continued to have problems and they still will not help. DO NOT BUY A CAR From BILL OWENS!!!!!! I will take further actions agents them.

We arrived at Secret City around 8:45PM to look at a jeep for the third time, with the intention of buying it if an agreement could be reached on the price. Everyone there was willing to help us in spite of the time. (They were closing in 15 minutes). They worked with us in every way possible and giving us a rebate that we didn't even know existed, which was a military discount because my husband had retired from the Navy. Everyone was helpful and cheerful and didn't seem to mind that we finished the deal about an hour after they were ready to go home on Saturday night. This is the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. The first problem was the vehicle I was looking at was listed four thousand dollars over market value. They also purposely try to make the numbers confusing to make it seem like the deal is better than it really is not. After telling me the price was as low as they could go the price of the car online dropped two thousand dollars. I worked to get the price for my trade in and their vehicle to a fair price for over 2 weeks. Finally when I had a carmax quote for my trade in they said come in and we will match that price. I drove 45 minutes to the dealership to then be told that the sales manager was not interested in the deal. It is very poor costumer service to waste someones time. (CarMax price ended up being $1500 cheaper for the same make and model with 5 thousand less miles)If you want an honest straight forward dealership stay away from this Secret City.

I drove into town because I was told they could make a deal with same payment as car I had after telling them my situation and I sat there for half a day working with them. Final results was they were not honest with me and no deal was made unless I paid way more payments. Iwould not trust this dealer again .

We live in Oakridge and heard great things about Secret City Dodge, we stopped in and saw a used grand caravan and David Ellis was one of the best salesman we have ever ran into. The husband was in need of a vehicle. I began searching online for vehicles that he liked. I found a 2013 300C with a hemi at Secret City that was several thousand dollars cheaper than any other dealer in a 100 mile radius. We pulled on the lot and spoke with Justin, telling him about the car we had found online. Luckily for us, he knew exactly which car we were speaking of. He was very patient and kind while we looked at other cars to insure that we were actually getting the best bang for the buck. He smiled and confidently told us that our first choice was the correct one. He was right. Ms Suzanne was a joy and made us feel like part of the family. I needed to take the car back to have an ECP added to it, and Justin was off. He still arranged for another sales person to take care of me!! Brad grabbed me a loaner and treated me as if he had been my sales person from the word go. The husband found a few small door dings on the car, and David said, "body guy is here on Monday, bring it in and we will get that taken care of for ya!"....This is not the first positive experience I have had with this dealership, and I am sure it will not be the last. I will be due a new ride in a few years!!

I was most pleased by the interaction with first David Elkins who was the salesman who first approached me when I was looking at the 2003 Cadillac Escalade. I had seen it the day before on the lot as I drove past. I had been wanting to trade for a black Escalade for some time and was keeping an eye out for one. This one seemed to be what I was looking for. David was helpful in letting me look at all features of the vehicle without pressure to make a deal. When I indicated that I would like to have someone look at my Tahoe and tell me the trade price, he began the process. I was also pleased with David Nabors who gave the initial trade price and with whom I negotiated the final price with Phil Minor's approval. Phil was especially helpful when he saw that I was a local person who had traded with them before, he agreed to my compromise offer. This was done even though David indicated there was another buyer coming by later in the day who was willing to offer more than my offer. I appreciated their consideration for a local and repeat buyer. Next I met Suzanne Long-Holstein who was a joy to work with. She quickly completed all paperwork needed to complete the deal. She helped assure that all the needed details were captured. When she realized that I had failed to leave the title to my Tahoe, she called me and asked that I bring the title by, which I did. She also noted that Fanny (my wife) needed to sign the registration in order for us to keep the specialty tag for the Great Smoky Mountains. Again, she called me to ask that Fanny come by and sign a needed document to assure we were able to keep our tag. After seeing the ad on the internet for a Chrysler 300 we decided to go to the dealership to see 2 cars. We were met by Kenny who was quite helpful for us to see and drive the cars we were there to see. I certainly enjoy test driving cars with minimum effort and that they don't need to ride with you (which sometimes makes it awkward to talk about things you like and don't like). We purchased a used Chrysler 300 at a price that was better than one similar on the motor mile. We were pleased with our experience at Secret City and will return when we are in need of another car.

This was by far the easiest car purchase that I have ever made. I saw the car on their website, called them 5 minutes later, talked to Randall and Suzanne, put down a deposit and bought the car without a hitch. Price was excellent, $6,000 under any book price. When we arrived at the dealership, everyone was very nice and welcoming. It couldn't have been any easier. I drove 85 miles from Cleveland, TN to shop at Secret City in Oak Ridge, TN. The service was EXCELLENT, and the staff was very friendly and helpful..Justin(Sales), Kenny(Finance) and Suzanne(Sales/Internet Manager) were awesome!! I was in and out within an hour or so..Secret City did not play the typical 4 hour dealer game with me, or the "let me talk to the manager (10 times)" game. I have been a customer of Secret City for 30+ years. James (Jimmy) Cogdill has always treated me fairly, even since it was "Oak Ridge Chrysler Plymouth Dodge Jeep" (early 1980's). The staff has improved over the years from Good to GREAT, and the most recent purchase experience has proved this point. Suzanne Holstein (customer relations) was VERY helpful, keeping us informed on "what to do", as well as keeping us in touch...a real people person. Justin Dutcher (sales) handled our sale with no pressure, and was knowledgeable about our Caravan, and "showed us the ropes" on all of the technology. Kenny Cristillo was easy to work with on finance, and was very fair. Howard Elliott was helpful on "what to do in the event of", as well as giving us a run through of the new vehicle manual. This team is why I have purchased a total of 18 vehicles from this dealership (not all, but most were Chrysler Products). I will most likely return....VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE!!!

Justin did an excellent job as our salesman. He was not pushy and didn't just talk to my husband. David Nabors was also great and wanted us to be completely satisfied with our sale. Kenny financed us and was straight forward and then the owner (James Cogdill) came in to shake our hands and thank us for the sale. Overall, this was the BEST expierence I have had with a car dealership. We drove an hour to get to them & it was definitely worth it. Justin even called back a couple of days later and asked if I was still liking my new car. This dealership truly cares about their customers and want them to be happy. Ok, so one day before my vacation, our family van breaks down and it is so old it is not worth the repair cost. I've wanted a truck for some time. I looked online for used trucks then I remembered that Secret City Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Oak Ridge always has a good selection of used trucks. I found the one I wanted and it was one of their "internet" specials. I drove over on my lunch break to drive it. The salesman was friendly and not pushy at all. Since I was in a bind and needed a vehicle quickly, I made what I thought was a fair offer and they accepted. I broke every rule by not researching the purchase prior or even checking the book values. I then drove the vehicle to the beach on my vacation. Thanks to Tropical Storm Debby I had plenty of time to research my purchase after the fact (yeah I know dumb right?). Anyway long story short- Secret City Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Oak Ridge gave me an incredible deal on my 2010 Toyota Tundra! They made the comment that "you stole this truck from usand I have to agree with them. I could not find a better deal in a 500 mile radius! When Secret City prices a vehicle to sell, they mean it! Great staff and great selection of vehicles. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fair price and friendly service on new or used vehicles. They were also able to beat my credit union's interest rates, which almost never happens!
