Ah, we went on a Sunday to view the new Santa Cruz truck and I gave it a thumbs up. Too nice to take out in traffic what with the way people drive today! ( Lol.) Honestly, the truck is mighty fine, the grill has several lights; not just the main headlamps. It's real nice inside- the jack is under the right passenger seat in the back. It has plenty of room. Go see for yourself! It's mighty nice looking too.

The personnel and service were very satisfactory. However, I received a 15% off coupon for the 30,000 mile service at the 3-year mark (September.) Because of Covid limiting travel, I did not reach 30,000 miles until July. Although I was given a 5% discount on the service, the coupon for 15% had an expiration date which had already passed. 1) either do not list an expiration date, or 2) state that it can be used when 30,000 miles are reached. Otherwise, it appears to be a come-on.

I had never dealt with this dealer ship before or this make of a vehicle. I was a bit apprehensive going from a Mercedes to a Hyundai, but new I wanted to get into all wheel drive and a larger higher vehicle before winter. After reviewing and looking at different vehicles, makes and models, I really liked the Tuscan and Santa Fe. I choose not to go with the Santa Fe as the Tuscan had everything the Santa Fe had except it was not quite as big and had a bit less leg room in the back seat. After taking the Tuscan for a test drive I was sold as long as a good financial deal could be made. The Tuscan rides every bit as good as my Mercedes and has just as much pep. I love the Tuscan.

This is the fifth Hyundai I have purchased for myself, the previous four when it was Savage. I also purchased a vehicle for my son and recommended my other son to purchase his Elantra from Savage. This is the first time I ever purchased a vehicle on my own and I will admit that did make me a little nervous. With my husband's work schedule it is difficult for us both to get to the dealer at the same time. I was allowed to take "my car" to his work so he was able to test drive and look it over. Chris made me feel comfortable during the entire transaction and answered all of my questions and went our the car in detail so I understood how everything works. It has been two weeks since the purchase and I am in LOVE with my NEW CAR!

The sales people and service technician are all great ! I enjoy going there for service because there is a comfortable waiting room, with a large selection of drinks and snacks, that you can help yourself to. You are always greeted with respect and they stop to say hello and ask how you are and if there is anything they can do. I have always been a Toyota owner, but the day I walked into Seidel Hyundai I became a Hyundai convert! The salesman was someone who answered all my questions honestly and was never pushy. Although my credit may not have been where I wanted it to be, no one there ever made me feel bad or embarrassed about the situation. Over the next nearly 3 hours, the staff were patient and helpful, from the test drive, through the sales negotiations, and the signing of paperwork. I contacted seven dealers for my Genesis. Seidel Hyundai was the only one who did not waste my time and gave me the best deal immediately when I contacted them. They played no games and were professional throughout the entire deal. They gave me more than I expected for my vehicle. My boyfriend and I were amazed at their entire staff's courtesy and respect for me as well as the value of my vehicle. Especially Chris Caruso. Neither of us have never met a more knowledgeable, friendly and personable salesman. He gets an AAA+. Never found one better! I live one mile from a Hyundai dealer. Did not even come close to the deal from Seidel. If you want the best price and a professional buying experience, Seidel Hyundai is the only place to buy...hands down!!!.

Bought an Elantra from a totally different dealership. Had huge problems with the car soon after bought it. Got absolutely no help from the dealership I bought it from so I took it to Seidel Huyndai. They helped me the same day. The dealership I bought it from called me the next day wanting to help. Told them I did receive help from Seidel Huyndai (it was still under the manufacturer warranty) they informed me to bring it to them first if anything else would go wrong with the car. Well..... it did a few days ago the car was not staring right and shutting off call my dealership(like I was instructed to) and guess what they couldn't help me go figure... called Seidel Huyndai they got my car in right away gave me a loaner car the same day. I returned the following day to pick up my 2013 Elan tra and left with a 2016 Sonata at the same care payment and my interest rate cut in half. I would recommend Seidel Huyndai to all my family,friends, and Co workers. No one can beat their kindness, understanding, knowledge, and customer service. They are truly the best

The Dealership has been a pleasure to work with. This is the 4th car we purchased and will do again. They thoroughly explained everything to us. Chris took the time to change our XM radio subscription over for us. He made sure that we understood how to hook up our phone to the car. He even followed up to make sure we were happy with our purchase and if we had any questions. While it does take time to purchase a car, it didn't seem nearly as long as before.

Great experience buying a new 2016 Genesis. The staff was great from my salesman, Pete Cippola to all the other members of the sales team. Negotiations were painless for me as I was asked what I wanted to pay for a new 2016 Genesis. After telling them the number I waited a few minutes later the deal was done. I never thought I would buy a Hyundai but if you are in the market for a luxury car that has all the features of a $80,000 luxury car the Hyundai Genesis is the way to go. Prior to purchasing the Genesis I drove every high end luxury vehicle there is and not one compared to the Genesis.

We love the Tucson, but paid FULL price ABOVE msrp.$30,830! Was told early on by salesman we used in March to lease a 2016 elantra that we will be taken care of by savage since we had 3 leases.Trading in my 2013 leased Accen- buy back was 12.5k, savage bought for 11k from Hyundai finance and we paid 1.5K that day. They kept us there for 6 hours mostly doing paperwork and we were so fried, we just signed and believed they took care of us. Boy were we disappointed in sales rep for not explaining the lease buy back and the purchase price ahead of time, But when we looked at paperwork the next day, felt stupid. Just plain old stupid. Just had us sign papers quickly. When spoke with rep a few days later, he said we didn't get a bad deal!A BAD DEAL - Great, now we feel more stupid. - paying above msrp. We have one more lease for 2.5 years left with Hyundai, but will look around in a few years at other makes. (It hurts when people misrepresent!) We were also considering a volaster for our son because of his grades this Christmas, but have changed our minds. I am really disappointed and feel we are being penalized by the sales 'manager' who put the deal together and sales rep. We didn't even get one cent off! Said they compensated me for the 2013 accent - which is bull, I can figure out numbers. Common sense says they made out for the lease and for selling the accent for more than 11K. Overall bad experience. I am sorry it soured our taste of future hyundais.

I bought a 2016 Sante Fe Limited Ultimate and the car is amazing. I was so pleased with my entire experience there. My sales person was Peter and he was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and didn't really try to pressure me into buying something I wasn't comfortable with. I also had spoken with the general sales manager Jerome who was also very good and not at all pushy. Those two guys are the main reason I bought my car from Savage. Savage Hyundai of Reading PA does a great job of providing sales and service. In both departments, the staff is friendly and knowledgable. This is our 4th Hyundai, so it's an indication of the value and reliability of the cars and a dealership to match. A year ago I had an issue regarding a repair, and the head of the service department contacted and met with me. He seemed genuinely concerned and determined to improve the performance. When you walk into a dealership, you know their job is to NOT let you leave without a car. They worked with me for two hours to make a deal. My credit was bad and rather than pushing a deal that I couldn't afford, they let me go home. Several days later, I contacted them and we were able to make a deal on a great vehicle that I was able to afford. I worked with three different people and they all were great! They made me feel like they cared about me first and the deal second. That's why I keep coming back.

I did not feel like they were making me jump through hoops just because, the banks can be picky in excess. You would think think that if you want to sell a product, you might want to make your customer comfortable and valued, I did not feel this at that other place on Lancaster ave with the person's full name used as the dealership's name (I won't say it, but you know who it is). The lease on my current vehicle was about to expire, so I informed her I also wanted to look at several other cars. best dealer service I have ever had!!! It was freezing cold out when we got to the dealership, by the time I got out to look at the car we came to see the sales person was greeting us. In the last two months I have been to several dealership in which 90% of the time NO ONE came at to see if I needed help. Not only did our sales person Pete come out to greet us, he spent a good 20 minutes showing us the cars we were interested in even when it was only 10 degrees outside . We test drove two models, after that we told the sale person we wanted to think about it & we would come back in the next day to decide. When he said ok without giving us a big hassle, we left , went home , made our choice , came back in that night at 5:30 pm to by the car. The dealer closes at 6pm that day, they stayed , detailed the car & I drove home with a new car!!! YEAH TO SAVAGE HYUNDAI you know how to treat your customers Thanks Chris

I just purchased a new 2015 Sonata from Savage. I test drove a handful of other vehicles, and stopped by Savage last as it was on my way home. I had a great experience driving a few cars with my salesman Peter and got some great info on the Sonata. When I finally made my decision, the buying process was very easy. They found some extra rebates for me and got me a great price. All in all, it was a very easy and pleasant buying experience, and everybody there - from my salesman to the general manager - were very nice and made me feel comfortable and attended to. Would definitely shop there again.

Called to make sure a car I saw listed on their website was still there and had the features I was looking for was available. When I got there, they told me it was sold. Jerome assured me he would give me a killer deal on another car and seemed genuine. When I saw the numbers, they used an inflated number based in a second window sticker which they claim is from the factory. Never saw another dealership with such stickers. They even claimed that offers I received from other dealerships were just bait numbers that would go up once I got there.Needless to say, I left without purchasing any vehicle and will not be buying from them in the future.

When I first arrived at Hyundai, I was approached by a salesman that was very enthusiastic to sell me a car. Salesman immediately took me to run my credit without offering to look over any vehicles or talking much at all. After seeing my credit did not qualify, salesman handed me a credit report and told me to go to John's Cars. I had a co signer lined up, however this was the very first place I stopped to shop at and was still just interested in looking. At NO point did he ask about a co signer or suggest another option I could look into. After he basically told me to get out, I told him I would still like to see the vehicle I was interested in. To which he replied, "Yeah, it's out there". AWFUL experience.

We were in a predicament with my daughter's VW breaking down on the turnpike (she is a college student 2 hours away) and the car was towed to a dealer in Harrisburg. The estimated cost of repair was more than the remaining loan on the car and we decided not to fix it. My daughter needed a car ASAP to get to her student teaching assignment. Having had a very positive experience at Savage Hyundai previously, I called and explained our dilemma to Andrew. He contacted his wholesaler,made arrangements to have the car towed from Harrisburg to Savage at no cost to us, and scheduled an appt to meet with my daughter that weekend, at which time he spent the entire afternoon allowing her to test drive several vehicles and completing the sale of her new Hyundai Accent so that she could drive it home that day!

I stopped at Savage Hyundai to "begin" my search for a new car. I was reluctant to use this dealership based on an unpleasant experience on a busy day in 2008 of not being approached by any staff after a considerable amount of time. Given Hyundai's excellent reputation, I decided to give it another try.The staff was very friendly this time. I was greeted immediately by Steve and other staff. Steve worked with me to help me select a model that would meet my needs, taking several out for test drives. I decided on the 2012 Elantra Limited and told Steve what I was willing to pay/month and if he could work it out I would leave with the new car. Till we were done, I also fell in love with the Tuscon and traded my husband's sedan for the Elantra and my SUV for a 2012 Tuscon GLS AWD.I drove the Elantra home that day and picked up the Tuscon the next day and was impressed that the staff knew why I was there and I wasn't approached as just another customer. I returned a few days after to have the anti-soil treatment applied to the Elantra and was given a nice loaner vehicle to use while my car was in Service.I would recommend this dealership to anyone!

Bough my 2006 Sonata from this dealer new. Warranty issues were always resolved quickly. When I bought a 2006 Elantra from another used car dealer for my son in 06-2010, I took it to this dealer to have work completed under the remainder of the 5yr/60,000 mile warranty (air conditioner cooling). Problem was fixed with no hassle. For recent state inspection (06-2011) I took the Elantra to this dealer. They did a thorough check of the car and discovered tire rot within the tire treads on two tires . Up until then, the car was used 3-4 miles per day by son going to high school. I'm glad they discovered the tire flaws when they did, since I was going to have son take it across state for a college trip the following week. Who knows what would have happened on a 4+ hour trip on those 2 tires which still had enough tread to pass inspection.

Many people told me they are very difficult to deal with. But I had to give them the benifit of the doubt. I asked for a price, I was shopping for a car. They refused and said bring your best price and we will beat it. So I stopped in with my best price. They "said" they would be it and gave me a price. But they did not have it in stock and woud get it. When they got it in, they called and I went back, it was higher than what they had told me. When I reminded them of the price they quoted... the comment was... They will never sell it for that price. Please people, just stand by what you say. If I have this much trouble with the price, just imagine how their service is. NOT A COMPANY I WANT TO DEAL WITH.

The first sales person was friendly enough. As we walked in saw a new 2012 for a little over 21K--just off the truck. Sales woman said they hadn't had time to had AMV which would have added 3K to the price. Asked her if she was kidding. No comment. Then they began the lengthy appraisal process. She began a one page questionnaire: Did you smoke in the car, did you tow anything with the car, what type of driving, and more.The general manager was out appraising my trade (4 year old sonata with 82K miles on it). Both bumpers had scratches on then and would have to be repaintedyea right. Then he ask if I changed the timing chain at 60K. Replied that all maintenance had been performed per owners manual. He repeated his timing chain question and stated it would cost him $500 to replace it. I asked him to wait while I checked the owners manual. Returned and showed him it was not in the scheduled maintenance. Told me to check with his service dept to verify. Said OK and he got real mad and the conversation volume increased several decibels. Checked with service and they stated that sonatas did not have timing chains since model year 2006not change was necessary for my year. Returned from service, told the GM, and he got very mad told me to leave and he didnt want to sell me a car. I called him a shyster and said he should get five years in jail for perjury.Long story short, avoid this dealer like the plague. The GM is either very dumb or dishonest and in either case should not have this job.Later that day we went to a another dealer in the area and started a conversation with a customer. Turns out he just left Savage for a similar reason.
