Dropped the vehicle off at 7:30am, complimentary service and 2 recalls done before noon at no charge. It cannot get any better than that. These folks are real pros. This is the best ownership experience I have had out of more than 40 cars in my driving career - better than mercedes or bmw. Better than any other car.

Tommy Derisi was very professional in dealing with my son and I. I was happy with everything overall, the only thing that could have been better was taking a little more time to explain the workings of the vehicle before we drove away. I Specifically the entertainment screen would have helped, but my son has figured out a lot of it on his own. I believe Tommy offered to set up my son's phone, but he wanted to explore it more before setting up his phone. Other than that, I would definitely buy again from Tommy and Selman Chevrolet. I did very much appreciate Tommy setting up the Costco rebate card that I did not know I was eligible for until he told me.

Vince was thorough, efficient, and knowledgeable and kept the whole leasing process flowing quickly so I could complete the transaction and still make it to work on time. This our third family purchase from Mike Bradley and Selman. He makes it so easy and he is such a genuinely nice person (not a quality you usually associate with a car salesperson). The finance lady was so professional and she made sure our needs were met instead of just selling us what we didn't need. The last car I had a 7 year 120,000 mile warranty and I wanted it again, but she said it would save us money if we only took it for 4 years as I put 45- 50,000 miles a year. The last Equinox was traded in at 208,000 miles and most of the service is done at Selman as well. Mike in service is also who I use, as I trust we will look after my car, as I depend on my car for business and I travel the 11 Western States. The Equinox was the most trouble free car I ever owned for 200,000 miles in 4 years.

Nick Nguyen, at Selman Chevrolet, was the only sales person that asked me if I had a Costco card, then explained how their discount program worked. I was very impressed with the excellent service and professionalism I experienced with Selman Chevrolet Service, particularly from Brandon Sky. Although I bought my Stingray from a different dealer because they did not have the model and color I wanted at that time, still I was given a VIP treatment from the Service Department when I took it for the first time for oil change and inspection. My car was so clean and immaculate when I picked it up. Brandon went over with me the results of the inspection and gave advice what to watch and expect for the next maintenance. I enjoy driving my third Corvette and I feel good knowing that there is Selman Chevrolet who will take good care of my Stingray. More power to Selman Service Advisors!!!

Brought my car (2011 Corvette-GS Convrt) in for an AC/Heat problem - replaced mode valve and mode door actuator. Car was said to be ready, however, a couple of switches were not properly hooked up, so ended up leaving the car one more night, pick up the next day. Checked ok, but when I got home i needed to press a driver side vent in place to lock-in position, and snap-in the switch for the convertible. No engaged properly. So far, my front console seems to be in-placed and everything seems to function properly, as far as I could possibly tell. AC/HV seems to working well, its quite. I guess before it was noisy.The important thing the Dealer provided me with a 2 days rental car from Enterprise, Advisor in charge took care of me.

My experience was fantastic, they exceeded my expectations and did this with a smile and a caring touch. My A.C. went out the day before, I came in on Thursday morning since we were on our way to Laughlin Nevada later that day. The temp in Laughlin was 111 degrees therefore it was essential that my A.C. get fixed. Steve, the service manager who helped me, understood my sense of urgency and had a tech come in early in order to get my A.C. fixed in time for my trip. Outstanding customer dedication!!!

One of the things I brought my vehicle in to the service dept. for was that the "tire monitor system" needed servicing according to the message on my instrument panel. Service said they fixed it but the next day the message came back on so it was not fixed. I recently had my 2015 Chevy Tahoe stolen, luckily within 2 hours it was recovered due to On-Star being able to locate and shut the care down. Unfortunately my keys were stolen which led to the car being stolen therefore I needed a new FOB and my existing FOB reprogrammed. I dropped my car off with the expectations that it would be done within 45 mins, to my surprise it was finished sooner than that. Ultimately, Selman exceeded my expectations and did so with a smile. This is my first time to Selman Chevrolet for service on my 2014 Corvette. I tried another Chevy dealer before in Ontario and I was very dissatisfied. Selman Chevrolet quoted me 3 to 4 hours for a recall and oil change service. It was done in less than 90 minutes. Plus they offered us a shuttle service to a local restaurant. This was by far the most enjoyable, stress free car buying experience I've ever had. Mike from Internet Sales and Kitty from Finance did an absolutely great job and I love my new truck. My only complaint, if any, was that upon arriving home I noticed two scuff marks in my Colorado's black finish that I initially mistook as smudges until I tried to wipe them clean. It kind of looked like something that was missed in color sanding and polishing the finish and I wish I would have noticed before I took delivery. Fortunately I was able to buff the scuffs out without a problem so there was no harm, no foul. Aside from that, I will without a doubt be purchasing my next Chevrolet from you folks. Thanks again.

I came back to the dealer with my 2-week old 2015 Volt with a drive train problem, my Service Advisor, Gabriel Trejo, took on the problem in a very professional manner, got me a loaner car, and my problem was solved in a relatively efficient time frame. I bought a car at Selma because of Tommy Edrisi's efficiency and professionalism. I contacted him via chat on the morning of February 13th after seeing the lease special on the Selma website for Spark EVs. I asked the figures of the lease terms and Tommy was able to provide them exactly, including taxes, fees, monthly payments, down payment, etc. (and corrected the calculations I had). He was also able to provide the figures for the purchase of a car so I could compare my options (again, quickly and with a clear explanation). I also liked that he was not pushy, or trying to push a sale on me, but gently offered to do a credit report and set up an appointment. With all the information, I was able to discuss the numbers with my husband immediately. I took Tommy up on his offer to run a credit report for us online so everything would be in motion before we arrived and we could wrap up the paperwork quickly. Tommy made it an easy choice to go to Selma and pick up the car that evening.I briefly saw the Spark EV at another Chevy dealership and it didn't go so well. I was relieved to work with Tommy.

I had a great experience, price matched another dealers price and I got asked if I was helped like 5 times. The only reason I didn't give a 5th star is that I didn't get a car wash with my service. the porter who brought out my car was nice and said he could run it thru the car wash but would take 10 min. at that point I didn't want to wait.. but excellent besides that.

I had a GM accessory exhaust system installed. I cannot say enough good things about Rodney Hunt and his tech, Ceasar. They did fantastic work in a minimum amount of time. I purchased my '07 Silverado from Weir Canyon Chevrolet, owned by Selman, and had a great experience. After Weir was absorbed into Selman I went to them for all of my repair work. The staff is very friendly, service is quick and when the truck was kept for extended days I was given a loaner even though it was out of warranty. I would definitely recommend them.

I bought a new 2011 Camaro 2SS from Selman. It had major and minor scratches all over the car. Walter, the General Sales Manager, took responsibility and said the paint would be fixed. I dropped it off April 1st and I did not see it again until they dropped it off to me April 30th. They had it for 30 days because they kept on telling me that there had been mistakes so they had to do it over. When they finally dropped it off to me, the paint was worse than what it was when I gave it to them. It had clear coat drip, paint scraped off the edge of the hood, no clear coat around the antenna from where they taped it off and a huge 2 foot long scratch down the rear bumper. Those are the major issues, there are a lot of "fish eyes" and specs in the paint. I had the new problems verified by a professional detailer and by the body shop at Bunnin GMC in Oxnard. I had Bunnin call Walter at Selman to let him know all the mistakes and extra damage they had done. Walter said too bad, that he wants nothing to do with the car and I have to pay for the repairs somewhere else on my own. I can't believe any company would do this, especially a major dealership. NOBODY SHOULD EVER GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP, ESPECIALLY THE BODY SHOP!

Finally we came to a tenitive agreement on a car. That day my wife and I came to the dealership to pick up the new car. After we arrived we found that the vechicle was not everything I needed. We discussed what was important to me and we negociated the additional cost on the spot and agreed to the deal. Selman Chevrolet about sold me a lemon. It wasn't until the very end of the buying process that I saw the GM vehicle service history report (separate from Carfax) which showed the vehicle had been in for major service 11 times before 30,000 miles. Of course it wasn't shown to me voluntarily. Only when asked for while discussing the extended warranty. Who knows how many other times the car had been serviced after the original warranty expired? If the original owner is anything like me, the car was probably taken elsewhere for repairs. Make sure you get all the info you can about the used car you are looking at at Selman or any dealership before making the purchase.

Never had such a bad experience at a dealer before, service advisor was rude no manager around including dealer manager or service manager. was told I must have driven with my e-brake on to cause burning smell in differential. I might by that if it wasn't smelling hot every time I drive it. Not to mention new cars don't drive so well with e-brakes on.

As a first time buyer I was a bit nervous, but after entering the dealership I was greeted by all the salesmen and felt at home. I knew what car i wanted and Augie was there to help. I stepped into the dealership with a certain car in mind knowing that Selman was one of a couple dealerships in the SoCal area with exactly what I wanted. I was not planning on driving away with a car that day due to a variety of reasons. From the moment my wife and I entered the dealership we were greeted with a friendly face at the counter. Shortly thereafter we met Nick just to discuss the car. Nick was very pleasant to talk to. Educated on the vehicle as well as financing etc. There was very little pressure and my wife and I felt at ease. In an hour and half of so later we were driving our new car out the door! Nick treated us very well through the entire process including our trade-in. The paperwork and signature process was seamless with no hidden costs or additional pressures to buy expensive add-ons. I would highly reccommend the Selman Chevrolet Team and Nick Nguyen specifically to other people interested in buying a car. They had the truck I wanted, and when I asked the price, it was given to me without any hassles such as "come on in and let's discuss it." I liked the price, so I drove up and bought the truck. Jason always answered my email questions quickly and completely, which was greatly appreciated. The only downside was that Jason didn't didn't follow up on my email questions quite as well after the truck was purchased. But if it was really important, I'd call and get the issue resolved.

Nick is the reason I went back to Selman. While I have had good experiences with Service body shop etc on my 2006 corvette, which I got thru Nick and at Selman, the main reason was Nick. As salesman go he is the best car salesman I have worked with. He has always been honest - he doesn't commit to what he can't deliver, he's client oriented and most importantly the only salesman who has always called me with updates as to what was going on with my order - he called when the factory accepted it, when the factory gave him a assembly window, when the car was built, sent to quality control and then weekly updates waiting for the car to actually ship. Not once did I request the info he just provided it. When the car was in he set a date for pick up and made certain that everything was ready - the add on parts from the dealership, LoJack installed etc. I showed up, he walked me thru the key aspects that had changed from my previous car, set my bluetooh up and then I drove off. Doesn't get any better than that. One other trait of Nick's is his memeory for names. Whenever I have talked with him he asks about my wife by name. Frankly over the last 5 years he has met her maybe 3 or 4 times. Yet even when I would stop in to see the latest vette he would ask. Very personable. As such I have recommended to several people that they contact him about buing a car or truck. So far everyone who went there had great reports back to me about dealing with him whether they bought a car or not. While I am pleased with Selman as a dealership and my experiences have been great I have the added feeling that if I ever ran into an issue I could call Nick for assistance. I had a great experience buying my new Camaro. Everyone was very professional. They evaluated my trade in fairly and took the time to explain my new ride. I would recommend this dealer highly. In fact, I will return there for routine maintenance, even though there are dealers closer to where I live.

Selman Chevrolet is the best dealership in California and it contains the BEST salesman DOUG SCHMEISSER. I just purchased my fourth brand new Camaro in July of 2010. I had the BEST experience ever working with Mr Schmeisser. I previously purchased from Guaranty Chevrolet in Santa Ana, CA two of the four Camaros I have owned. I went there first to buy my fourth and was stunned they let me walk off the lot without a new car. Want a hassle-free experience where the salesman really listens to what you want and need? Than go to Selman Chevrolet and ask for Doug Schmeisser. Mr Schmeisser will not pressure you. He is very patient during negotiation and does not play games. He is very out-going and full of energy and exhibits the best customer service I have ever had when purchasing a vehicle. I had the BEST time buying my fourth Camaro. He made it so much fun. FUN!!! How many customers would ever say it was fun? I was even more stunned when he called two days later to tell me my chrome wheels were in and ready to be installed. The follow-up emails and phone calls within the last 6 months are impressive too. I got a great price on my 2010 Chevrolet Camaro as well. Lastly, I will never forget driving down my street the day I brought my new Camaro home from Selman Chevrolet and the kids and neighbors just stopped what they were doing, moved out of my way and just stared at my car smiling and giving me a thumbs up. It was the best feeling ever!! Thank you Doug!! YOU AND SELMAN CHEVROLET ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!! I won't ever go anywhere else.

By far the most friendly dealership I have ever worked with. The first time we stepped on to the lot, everyone was straight up and honest with no hype. Doug was very honest with no high pressure sales tactics and really felt he was looking at our best interest. I would highly recommend anyone to Doug and Selman Chevrolet.

This is place is a HORRIBLE excuse for a dealership service. I cannot believe how horrible their employees are; both mechanics and customer service. Forget about talking to any manager, you'll get voicemail -- which probably means no one is running this monkey show.STAY AWAY.

Brought the car in for fuel gauge not reading correctly (basically bad Fuel Sending Unit). Told the guy, I filled up my car with a full tank and it's reading only 1/4, just to prove it was not reading correctly.I also brought it in for them to bleed my hydraulic clutch (had air in the line). A day later, they told me that I was missing a pressure plate and they would need to install this which comes with a new clutch. Cost for labor/parts $1200. First of all, there is no way a person can drive without a pressure plate, and second my pressure plate/clutch/master and slave cylinder are all 3 months all, it just needed bleeding). I'm pretty sure they did not look into the transmission issue and only came up with this problem just by pressing the clutch pedal. Safe to assume I turned down this service. I know the economy is bad, but telling me I had no pressure plate, so that they can charge me $1200 is ridiculous. Good thing I know a little about cars.Brought the car in with full tank, left the dealer empty (did not notice). Car died 2 blocks away and when i called back, they stated they put in what they took out (apparently they took out fumes and put back fumes), they put me on hold and eventually was disconnected. Called service manager and it went straight to voice mail. Left him a message about my story and my disappointment and told him basically will never go to their place.
