Today I took my sister's Ford Fusion to be serviced. The gentleman who assisted me in the beginning was kind however there was another gentleman whose name is John Iannarella who was not polite at all. He asked me what the problem was with the car. I informed him as best as I could what the issue was and he didn't understand which makes sense because I didn't use the correct terminology. I showed him a picture and he knew what the problem was from that. I sat in the customer waiting area and noticed my car was taken back. It appeared the mechanic completed the job so I waited for someone to inform me of that but they did not. I walked to the front and asked if they could give me a estimated time frame for my car to be completed and John said "it's done". He stood behind his desk and did not make eye contact with me at all. I asked him if I could have my keys and he said "give me a couple of minutes". I sat in a chair close to the entrance/exit and waited. Another customer walked in and John's attitude and demeanor quickly changed. He gave the other customer his keys, receipt, and proceeded to walk him to the back. the gentleman who initially greeted me came from the back and I asked for a supervisor or manager. He informed me they were on vacation so he would help. I explained my issue and he called John back to the front. John told me I would need to pay $100 plus. I asked why wouldn't he check with me first before doing the job and he said he did not know the mechanic was going to work on my car so fast. I told him I was not happy with his customer service and he should have checked with me first before deciding I could pay the amount on the receipt. He said well I thought you wanted the work done. I'm satisfied with the work the mechanic did but I'm extremely upset about John's customer service skills or lack thereof.

Bought a pre-owned F-150 in 2018 from Sheridan Ford. It has all the features I needed and some that I wanted. They worked really hard to work with me on payments that fit into my monthly budget too. The Service department is friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. Parts department is very helpful about minor part installation processes and able to get me the genuine Motorcraft parts I want for my truck. I'd buy here again.

THEY COMPLETELY SUCK. they won't make a single effort to help you in any way possible. complete ignorance & disrespect from all departments. they don't want to be bothered with you after the sale is final. their service dept IS a complete joke. children that know absolutely nothing about cars could have been more helpful then they were. they couldn't even put a nut & bolt in correctly (honest truth). bottom line they ABSOLUTELY SUCK!!!!!! I overall hate them all & wish I never went there. I HIGHLY recommend you do not do any type of business with them so you don't have to regret it the way I do. they are AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL & just do not care anything about you after they get their money

I Purchased a 2015 F-150. Was told incorrectly by the young salesman that I could add a sunroof aftermarket - "no problem - we do it all the time". 3 weeks later I find out it's not possible on the 2015 F-150. The salesman admits he made a mistake - however the dealership could care less. Then I discover the Ford warranty they sold me was also a lie. They showed me the ford brochure - talked about it for 49 minutes. The actual warranty that showed up in the mail was not ford and the coverage period was totally different. When your spending this much on a new vehicle you owe it to yourself to deal with a reputable dealer who will stand behind what they sell. I ended up going to Porter Ford and dealing with Michael Williams - put me in a 2016 and I have been very happy ever since.

I bought a 3 year old heavy duty truck this August. The salesman and manager were decent through negotiations and I think I got a good deal. Since the truck was 3 years old, it just passed it's bumper to bumper warranty. I knew that going into the sale, but 3 months later, the sunroom assembly breaks. I called David Willis, one of the sales managers to see if they could help with some of the $2400 expense. His answer was a question, "when did you feel you own the car?". Fair question and again, I accepted the deal and condition as is. My request was for them to help me out and David made it very clear that was not an option. It wasn't the best sales experience I have had buying a car so I didn't rate them sooner, but I do think other buyers need to know that this isn't a dealership that will go the extra mile to help a customer.

Just got a great deal on a 2015 Ford Focus Titanium Hatchback. Jake Dickhart was extra helpful in explaining the features of the car. He even helped me get the car home since I wasn't doing a trade and had two cars at the dealership at once. He drove the car home for me while I drove my other car. That's great customer service.

We purchased a vehicle for our daughter and had to take it back several times. Nothing was done on the car when it was traded in except for detailing. We had to replace the battery & starter. 2 of the tires were 10 years old on an 8 year old car and have dry rot so we will need to replace those as well. We also told him about an issue with the headlight and were told it was oxidation. There was moisture in the head because of a seal issue. He told us service told him it was oxidation. We know the difference between oxidation and moisture. We tried to work with the person who sold us the vehicle and he had to keep referring to someone else. Left several messages for the used car manager, Tim Sheridan who never returned our calls. My husband finally was able to talk to a service person who explained what was actually covered on the limited warranty we had. IF you ever get a warranty on a vehicle get a bumper-to-bumper warranty so everything is covered. The starter wasn't covered under our warranty because it isn't part of the engine. We were told it's an accessory to the engine.

Wow! I do believe in Santa and he must be living at Sheridan Ford. My Christmas present this year won't fit under my tree but it sure will make all eyes twinkle when they see my 2015 Ford Fusion from Sheridan Ford. They are tops on my "nice list" because of their Sales Staff, Quality Vehicles, and Excellent Reputation. I always find exactly what I want, when I want it. The salesman was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and made my "shopping list" easy. I always think of Sheridan Ford when I am shopping for that "perfect vehicle". The selection is great, the buying experience is easy and I always feel welcomed there. Visit them now and make yourself a believer in nice vehicles happen with nice people.

Horrible buying expierence!! Bought a 'certified' preowned on a Tuesday, had to take it back twice before the weekend because of brake concerns. The salesman was rude and basically called me a liar, and that nothing was wrong - but when they FINALLY took it into the shop... the needed to REPLACE ALL THE BRAKES....!!!!! How could a car that came right off their lot need brakes 3 days later??

I am currently in the process of waiting for a new F-150 that I ordered from Sheridan Ford. Unfortunately, there have been some significant delays to receiving my truck, however this is not at all the driver of this review. I ordered my truck in mid April of this year and was explicitly given expectations of around 5-6 weeks maximum for my truck to be built and delivered to me. These expectations have been proven false. This alone is not a large issue. Things happen. The dealership can't be expected to take any blame for delays in the building of the vehicle or for the actual delivery to the dealership. My complaints rest alongside the communication to me during this whole process. I have received zero phone calls from my salesman. I began calling once a week on each Friday after the 4th week once I ordered the truck. I have received 4 possible due dates that were given to me with such conviction that one would think that the whole Earth would have to catch on fire before this truck was going to be delayed past the due date. I was given one particular due date at which I had to call around late afternoon to inquire about when I should come in, only to find out that it had been delayed for two weeks. The last due date I have been given (again only after I called the salesman) was June 24th. This date rolled by without a call to me to tell me that the truck had not been delivered and that I should not come to the dealership. Once I called that night, I was informed there was nothing that they could tell me. I asked if they could call the rail carrier to inquire as to why the truck is late. The response I received was that they don't know who to call and do not know where the truck is. If I buy a $0.50 book on Amazon I can get a tracking number and find out every 6 hours where the book is located prior to delivery but a $40K truck is supposedly drifting off in America somewhere without any papers, tracking number, or people to call to check the status. On June 25th, the entire day went by without a call. I called that night at 7:30PM to air my frustration about the lack of communication. I was promised by Rob that I would receive a call "every day" until the truck arrived. Today, June 26th, I received no call. I called tonight at 5:30 and asked Rob to call me back to let me know what is going on. No call back.My frustration has reached a crescendo. I have opened up a case with Ford customer service about the dreadful customer service I have received to date. During this call, the Ford representative, Steven, informed me of a website that I could personally track the status of my truck and the shipment/delivery. I informed Steven that this fact only adds to the lack of communication and service I have received to date. I was never informed of this site and if I had been, I wouldn't have wasted 15 telephone calls in the past 10-11 weeks to the salesman that can't give me the time of day to call me. There was one simple piece of information, however, that I would need to access this site to view my truck; order/VIN number. So I called Sheridan Ford again tonight around 7:30 PM. I asked for anyone in the sales department who could provide me with this information. I, unfortunately, was transfered to Rob who asked if he could call me back in "5 to 10 minutes" as he was with a customer. As you might have already surmised, Rob did not ever call me back. Enough is enough. I am a patient man and give people the benefit of the doubt, but over the past 10 or 11 weeks I have heard so many cliche sales lines each time I called, have been given every excuse in the book, and have received as little info as possible regarding my truck. Stop telling me that you were just about to give me a call when this is the 10th time that I have called you!Make it right Sheridan Ford, there is still time to rectify my experience. As I stated earlier, delays happen and in no part do I blame the delays on this dealership. But there is no excuse for not providing realistic expectations and timely updates to your customers.

My repair work on my 1996 Bronco was completed in a timely fashion. The service writer Chuck Jacobson handled my work in a professional manner and chose the correct mechanic to replace my electric fuel pump with tank sender assembly in the gas tank of my truck. Keep up the excellent work!

My driver's seat warranty issue was finally resolved. My front HVAC blower motor issue was resolved without challenge. The oil was changed by mistake. Conventional oil was used. When I explained I only use Mobil 1 5W20, the service representative was more than agreeable to change the oil again so I had the "right" type of oil the engine.

I've worked for car dealerships. Most look for every opportunity to make more money from the Customer. Tim had that opportunity because I was sure that my brakes were bad. Tim assured me they weren't and only performed the services my vehicle needed. I previously gave Porter that opportunity and they failed miserably. My choice for a quality vehicle, great inventory and a well-trained sales staff is Sheridan Ford on Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE. I feel that there is always several vehicles for me to look at, test drive and find the right one for me. I keep coming back to Sheridan Ford because I have my own personal shopper, who is actually my salesman, Shawn Wilhelm. I call him up when I am coming out to look for whatever I am in the mood for that day and he makes sure he is there for me. With all their inventory Shawn can pull information on them and when I arrive he is ahead of things, which I like. He is always very pleasant and knows the vehicles which makes me feel good about what Shawn Wilhelm shows me and what Sheridan Ford offers. They will look for a vehicle until you are happy and satisfied. That is why I buy my Fords from there.

My salesman, Shawn Wilhelm explained all the features, showed me how to use them and took me to a new world of the strength of a truck with the comfort of a car. Tara (Service Writer) was absolutely excellent! For the past year I've been taking my truck to New Jersey. The reason is I had nothing but bad experiences with the local Ford dealerships. I needed an oil change, I took a chance and it all worked out for the best. The service dept. went over my 2012 F-350 Diesel with a fine tooth comb. The work performed was excellent and I got a great deal on a set of new Michelin Tires. I'm very particular about my truck and so far Sheridan has stepped up to the plate.

I had the experience of showing up at 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday due to my husband's work schedule - your dealership closes at 6:00 p.m. Keith knew I would be there to look at one particular car but I had stopped in the night before with a friend who was also looking for a car - now my decision was broadened to four vehicles. Keith was busy helping another customer complete their business so that gave me the time to let my husband look at the cars I had narrowed my choice down to. No pressure - IT WAS GREAT! We had time to discuss our choices without anyone looking over our shoulders. Keith gave us some keys to try out vehicles and a decision was easy after that. Here comes 6:00 p.m. - DANG! Keith never looked at the clock and Aaron began processing our paperwork to purchase a different Ford Edge than what I originally called him on. YEA!!! Light colored interior!!!!! I thanked both Aaron and Keith for staying till 8:00 p.m. to complete our purchase and asked them to thank their families as well. Saturday night - many have plans and I didn't feel like I was imposing. I will make future efforts not to do that again as I know how precious family time is for everyone. Keith was a great salesperson. He did a great job following up on my inquiry I made through the website and then ultimately finding me a truck that I am thrilled with. Shows that following up with potential customers, without being annoying, can lead to sales. The dealership was clean and the cars and trucks were clean as well, which says a lot considering the kind of winter we were having. My experience at Sheridan Ford was unlike any Ford Dealer experience I have ever had. On Tuesday, February 25th at 8:30pm, my 2010 Ford Fusion suddenly stalled out on Kirkwood Highway. Panic stricken, I called AAA and had them bring it to Sheridan Ford. At 7:34am the next day, Chuck called me to determine what had happened to my vehicle. Sensing that I was still upset, Chuck reassured me that he would take care of my car and find out what caused this to happen. When I arrived at 8:30am, Tara and Chuck were at the desk and greeted me with a welcoming hello. They took me back to the lounge area and told me that as soon as they knew anything that they'd let me know. About 30 minutes later, Chuck came back and explained to me about the nation-wide recall on the throttle body that affected the Fusions, which was the root of my vehicle's issue. He also explained that my battery and mass air sensor needed to be looked at, which was a HUGE blessing. Tara and Chuck took care of me like I was part of their family. Once the vehicle was finished, Chuck and Tara told me that if I had any questions or concerns, that they're just a phone call away. Sheridan wasn't greedy like some other dealerships,and sold me my 2014 Shelby GT-500 at MSRP.,instead of marking it up almost $10,000They also took the time to explain how the equipment on the car works,and included a full tank of gas.I will definitely be coming back to Sheridan when my wife needs a new car.

The service rep, Tara, was very friendly, personable, and open and direct about the fees and necessary service. She didn't explain a great deal about the tires I purchased, but I felt comfortable enough to go ahead and have the things she suggested fixed. I have been to many dealerships and mechanics over the years and was pleased with my experience. The free wifi and desk cubbies were great too.

Before you buy a car from this Dealer or any Dealer, ask them First, before you even shop their lot about a Mandatory Arbitration Clause that you must sign before they will sell you a vehicle. This declaration only protects the Dealership selling the vehicle. By agreeing to Arbitration, you are giving up your rights, in advance of any legal claim you may have against the Dealership, its Employees, the Ford Motor Company, and its Service Shop/Body Shops. If you don't ask about this, up front, they will hand you a form to sign, during the financing process, and all the other papers that you will be signing, that most people don't read. Be a wise, and responsible buyer, and don't get tricked into signing this form. I found out from other Dealer's that it is only to protect the Seller, and leaves most buyers without any legal recourse. Just words to give you something to think about, before your next purchase. Oh yes, most arbitrators usually lean heavily towards the Businesses, and not the consumers. No wonder, they are asking for their arbitration clause to be signed. It is a binding legal document. I'm sure that you must have heard about the reality Court shows, like Judge Judy's Court. Well, all those people who agree to having their cases herd, must sign a legal binding arbitration agreement, before their cases are heard. Then the Arbitrator, like Judge Judy, hands down a verdict, based on the evidence presented. Good - Luck.

We very much appreciated the respect and honesty that our salesman Keith showed us, and how he worked with us. He was very attentive and showed real integrity, leaving nothing hidden. And he did not exhibit any kind of pressure as we lobbied back and forth over the deal. We feel like we were very fairly treated and we love the car. I have bought many cars from here. The last several I purchased from Gary Ford. He is straight forward, no pressure and very easy to work with. The last two cars I purchased I was in and out within an hour and half tops. I follow the service plan to the t and have had no problems with any of our cars. The only reason I get a new car is because I have paid off the old one and want to upgrade to a new model.

Not exactly the best place to shop for a vehicle. I traveled a rather far distance to check out a few vehicles in their selection. Over the phone and online the salesmen were aggressive and eager to inform me about the vehicles. When I decided to show up to check out some of the vehicles we had spoke of they seemed to have the opposite reaction and be not so welcoming to me (which I will explain in further detail). Usually this change in behavior means that they are prejudging buyers by appearance and making assumptions of their purchasing power. The salesman I dealt with and corresponded with over a period of days didn't seem so enthusiastic about helping me with the vehicles I was looking at. I had the sense that he felt like he was wasting his time and just going through the motions of my request. After I had made it quit clear before I arrived that I was coming to test drive the vehicle/s I was interested in, this option was not granted to me. I was only greeted with an excuse regarding weather conditions on a rather calm day (a rain drop stop you from making a car sale). For me this was an absolute waste of time as this dealer is not exactly close to me and I have a very busy schedule. It was not an unexpected visit as the salesman knew the time frame I was going to arrive so the cars should have been ready. After I left their dealership their attitude was further expressed by them when no one bothered to follow up with me and contact me again regarding the vehicle I had inquired about. As a matter of fact I had to make several attempts to contact them to get my questions answered. It was the exact opposite of the eager behavior they displayed before. Its not so much that I expect a salesman or dealership to contact an interested buyer, its just that following up with a customer is part of salesmanship and working with a customer to get a sale. The thing is I'm not a car salesmen and I'm not going to do their job for them. An interested buyer should not have to chase someone to get them to sell them a vehicle they may be interested in. As a purchaser that is not your responsibility. My last words to the salesman were in regards to contacting me on what they considered a good day so that I could test drive the vehicles. Since it was drizzling that evening I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After several very sunny clear sky warm pre summer days past I decided to shoot the salesman a series of e-mails regarding the vehicle. Although after communicating with the salesman he seemed to change his attitude some what and offer to arrange for me to drive the vehicle. The lengths to which I had to go to get them to arrange that I felt I should not have had to in the first place. First impressions are lasting ones and Id be lying if I said that this dealership made me feel like a welcomed customer. This dealership gave me the exact type of grin in your face attitude that most car shoppers should learn to stay away from. Even though some of my questions were answered I never felt as though this dealership would be the type that I could trust.

Went to test drive a BMW at Sheridan Ford not expecting to buy that day. I arrived, and was immediately greeted by Tim Sheridan. He had a genuine smile on his face, and I started talking about financing, but he insisted that we go for a ride first. Tim was very friendly, and talked to me about what I did as a job, hobbies, and small talk. After getting back to the dealer, he sat down, and talked about whether I liked the car. Of course, I would have given my first born for it, but anyways. After spending 5 hours dilliberating, and negotiating a special deal, I ended up buying the BMW //M Roadster. Honestly, this was the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. Anyone under 25 who goes into a BMW dealer is immediately ignored or snuffed at. However, at Sheridan Ford, they took the time to negotiate a great price, and made sure I was pleased with the car. No offense, I wouldn't recommend a Ford to anyone, but I would recommend Sheridan Ford if you are looking to buy a used car. Believe me, I am very finicky about how I'm treated, and was very impressed. I absolutely love my car, and won't be trading it in anytime soon.
