The workers at Shults were very accommodating in helping me find a VERY nice car within my price range quickly. They were very friendly as well.

We recently purchased a Kia Sorento. The sales group did not pressure us and made us feel very comfortable. There were a couple minor issues with the vehicle which they took care of prior to getting the vehicle to us. Also, there was one issue that came up about a week after we purchased the vehicle and again they took care of it with no problem. I would highly recommend this group and our salesman, Sam DeJohn.

We recently purchased our second vehicle at the Shults Resale Center in Dunkirk. Our first transaction went so well that we felt very comfortable in returning, but learned that salesperson had left. We were fortunate, once again, to be greeted by a very knowledgeable salesman in Alex Zdrojewski and asked him to search for a particular car that we had been researching. We were in no hurry, but he came up with one immediately - the exact year and model that we requested. Following our purchase of this car, we have gone back to the agency several times with a variety of questions pertaining to the electronic system, and Alex has been very helpful each time, as have other members of the staff with specific questions in their areas of expertise. We have recommended the Resale Center to many of our friends, one of whom purchased a vehicle a week after our recommendation. We will certainly return to Schults for our next vehicle and will request Alex.

I had a simply lovely experience shopping for a used car with Jen. The title description describes it well. The truck I purchased was priced fairly as was the amount I was offered for my trade in. Everyone was very friendly and could tell - at least customer facing-- it was a good work environment. Everyone seemed really engaged and multiple team members worked diligently to to the point that I drove out my new truck 2.5 hours after stepping foot into the dealership. Jenn, the sales rep was great and very caring and if did not know an answer to a question, quickly found out. Great customer experience overall and hope it continues if there are other required interactions down the road. Well done!

Even after i was discussing the fact my old car no longer had AC and i was unhappy with that. He knew this and didn't let on. I have always been leery of car dealerships because I feel like a rabbit being hunted by a flock of Hawks when I pull on to the lot. When I got to Shults one salesman, Steve Newark, came out on to the lot and was just awesome. I told him what I wanted in a car and my price range and he pointed out a couple cars to help narrow my decision. When I picked a car I liked he showed me all the features and how they worked and let me take it for a lengthy test drive to get to know the car and see if I really liked it. The buying and paperwork part of the experience was rather easy and painless. Steve, Mike, and the finance manager worked together to get my payments to where I wanted them. Overall I am very happy with my experience at Shults. I was treated like a princess. The owner/manager took time to even meet me and speak with me, the salesman was awesome and very patient with me and my demands of a fully loaded car for a good price that didn't have a lot of miles on it. I will certainly return to Shults resale to buy another car!!!

I went to many dealerships to look for a truck. Some tried to sell me a truck that I didn't want or wouldn't be happy with. And some dealers made it seem like I was bothering them but shults was friendly and nice to work with. They helped me buy a vehicle and didn't try to take my money. I shopped around quite a bit before I stopped by Shults Resale Center. I had never been there before, but my nephew and sister both purchased vehicles through them. I was greeted right away when I came in and that helped me to feel more comfortable. Jim helped me to find and purchase a new van for my family. All the people at Shults were very friendly and really worked well as a team. Bottom line is I felt like they actually cared that I was there. They were ready to do whatever they could to get me in a vehicle that met my familys needs, but at the same time did not pressure me in that decision. There's no need to chase around shopping for a vehicle. Shults will do it for you.

After doing large amounts of research and visiting several dealers win Buffalo, I found the hospitality of the dealer near me by far out weight the price and the courtesy I received from other dealers. My experience with my agent, was awsome. The lot did not have the car the I wanted a it was located in the Jamestown lot, so he had it delivered and brought to this location. In good trust, my agent (Jim) allowed me to drive the new car over to the Dealership in James, and do the paper work there, as the lot here in Dunkirk only did the qualification for finance. Jim was so professional and he handled the closing deal. It was fast, smooth and by far the best sale I made after owning 4 previous cars I bought in other locations through out the years. Dunkirk really knows how to serve it clients and no pressure was done. It was decent, respectable, and just very professional for small town that handle the sale better then a big City lot. I have over 30 years in years, my self, and this was excellent service. Good Job Jim.

My wife and I went to see what was available that day and Jim was there to meet us. I began by telling him the few vehicles that we were interested in and he didn't try to deter us from them. He showed us the ones on the lot and then, because there wasn't one there he said there was one in Jamestown. Normally he would have had someone go and bring it back, but offered to let us go with him in one car and then "Test drive" the other one back to Dunkirk. We drove the 2011 Subaru back and agreed to buy it. Jim was a pleasant person and not pushy. We would have walked away if the deal had not been right. I asked Jim specific questions about the vehicle, and Jim answered all my question promptly with out any BS. I asked If he was willing to negotiate the on-line price. Jim said come to Dunkirk and look at this vehicle. The next day, I met with Jim, and an hour and half later I was driving home with my vehicle. Jim licensed and put insurance on it while I went out for lunch. I got a vehicle that was a year newer and his price was the trade-in book value. I think I got a great deal that other dealers were retailing $6000 more. Jim replaced a wheel that I was not happy with and mailed me some other minor parts. Shults also threw in free oil changes, next year's state inspection, spring and fall checkups, tire rotations plus their dealer warranty. Note the vehicle also had remaining manufacturers warranty. I was in the market for a used 2014 Suburban with less than 20k miles and found one online at Shults. I was a bit reluctant to contact them as they are located more than an hour from my home and I was hoping to purchase a car in the next few days in time to take a trip with my family. I gave it a shot and called Shults - and thank goodness that I did. They provided an estimated price over the phone and then volunteered to bring the Suburban to me at my home to look it over and take a test drive. The next morning, Jim arrived at 9 a.m. and after the test drive, we agreed on a price in my driveway. Jim asked that I consider Shults for financing and encouraged me to complete the credit application online. I had already done some rate shopping and was very pleased when Shults provided me with a rate as low as any advertised rate that I'd seen - including from credit unions. Shults then delivered my new Suburban to my driveway the next morning, in time for our family vacation. Amazing!The most impressive part of the transaction was that our sales person Jim, was completely candid and transparent throughout the entire process. I didn't disclose until the end of our conversation that I work for a bank who is a major player in the auto lending business and I'm fully aware of how many dealers leverage dealer financing as part of the negotiation process. I highly recommend Shults and will be contacting them again for our next purchase.

We went to the dealership looking for a used car we found on cars.com. They were not accommodating in any way, wouldn't give us near the value on a trade in or budge at all on the over priced car they were trying to sell us. We left with them telling us we wouldn't find a better deal. Within two day we purchased the same model of car we were looking at with them at a different dealership. It was in much better condition, had less miles, and was $4,000 less than their price! They also gave us our asking price on our trade in, overall we were able to save $6,000 by going elsewhere.

We walked into this dealership on 1/10/13 and met Steve Newark for the first time. We told him we were just starting the process of shopping for an SUV. We had no idea of what kind we wanted or how much we wanted to spend. We also told him we were in no hurry and did not want to be rushed. Steve started by showing us an escape. Too small. Went to a highlander, to much money. Next was an equinox, almost, not enough cargo room in the back. We decided to step back for awhile and look around online. After a couple of weeks ( because of our busy lives ) we called steve to see if we could look at and drive a few more vehicles. What ever we wanted to drive he went out and got it if it was not on their lot. Just could not find THE ONE we loved. After a few more weeks steve called and suggested a ford edge. This suv was awesome but we were still unsure. Then this past week steve brought in a Kia Sorento . 2013 with 12000 miles and fully loaded with everything possible ! This was it. He then let us take it home for 2 days . This worked perfect as my wife got to drive it in the snow. AWESOME ! Today we signed the papers and its ours after almost 2 months of shopping . Steve was a great pleasure to work with ! He never pressured us, Explained in detail every feature of every vehicle we drove ( about 8 i think ) and above all was HONEST about everything. The whole staff there was very pleasent with us every time we were there , including Wes , who handled the financial transaction basically twice cause we added in the extended warrenty after we said no. This dealership was a pleasure to deal with and I will recommend them to everyone ! There is no doubt I will go back to them for our next truck ! He was very HONEST & caring about the car we were looking at - 2011 Chevy Malibu. He came along for the test ride & pointed out alot of features the car had. He then offered to have us that the car for the weekend - which we did. We were sold. When it came down to the actual purchasing of our car, he gave us a fair 'trade in' on the '99 grand am we were getting rid of. He made sure all our questions were answered. Jim Gennock went above and beyond our expectations of a salesman. He found the exact vehicle we were looking for! He is always available to answer our questions about the features on the vehicle we purchased. Some of these features can be very confusing, but he was more than willing to walk us through the steps on how to use the computer in our Ford F-150 truck instead of telling us to read the manual! He also took the time to show us how to set and use the digital lock on our doors. We couldn't find the funnel for the gas tank, so he showed us where to find it. We were so pleased with his personality, professionalism, and customer service that we recommended him to a close friend of ours that was looking for a vehicle. he took his time and showed me many cars and explained different features with me, and when my mind was made up he didn't try to change my mind. he explained everything about the car and paper work so I could understand. and didn't mind my "stupid" questions the million I had. as this is only the second car I got threw a dealer and hardly know about cars. the first car I got I felt like was a total deer in head lights.Steve was very friendly to me, husband and kids, they even stayed well past closing time for me, about 3 hours past. other dealers around this area told me we closing soon so we cant help you come back another time, wow like really I was there to buy a car, but shults was very nice. every one I have met with there was very nice. Steve was a very very friendly salesman. I went into Basil with my Fiance and we planned on buying a car because our Cobalt kept stalling and nobody could figure out what was wrong with it, so we checked the vehicles out at Basils and we found one but they wouldn't give us very much money for our trade and they kept screwing around and prolonging everything so we told them to give us a call when they figure something out and after they checked out our credit they then offered a little bit more but we weren't satisfied so we left and we were headed to Shults Resale to check out the cars and our car stalled so we finally got it started and drove into the parking lot and Steve was outside so he cameover to us and introduced himself and we told him Basils wouldn't give us what we wanted and they were prolonging everything and he said I promise I won't do that to you. We asked him if we could take the Cruze for a test drive and he said sure I'll let you test drive whatever you want. He said I'll switch the license plate 100 times if I have to. He made us laugh and made us feel at home and we didn't feel rushed or like we were being jerked around. We got to take the car home the same day and he had all the paper work done fast. I'll never buy another vehicle anywhere else but Shults Resale Center. The price was very reasonable and it was within our price range. We are very happy with the car Steve sold us and happy with everything.

Jim G, our salesman, went above and beyond when we purchased our 2008 Dodge Caliber on March 15, 2013. We live 40 miles away from the dealership and with my husband's work schedule, made it difficult to car shop. When I called and spoke to Jim inquiring about the car I was interested in and informed him about my husband's hours, I was not expecting the solution. We submitted our application on line, and emailed the documentation needed. Jim then drove the 40 miles from Dunkirk to our home in Buffalo, so we can look the vehicle over and test drive it, and make a decision. He assured us, that even though he brought the vehicle to us, we were not obligated to purchase the car. I loved the car and we went ahead with the purchase. All the paperwork was done in our kitchen and Jim drove the vehicle I traded in back to the dealership. From our first initial phone call, inquiring about the vehicle, to delivering the vehicle in our driveway and signing the papers, the process took 1 day!! With service like that, who wouldn't refer Shults Resale when looking to purchase a vehicle?? I would absolutely recommend them and would buy from them again in the future. I "declared" to my husband on a Sunday morning that I was finally ready to throw in the towel with my winter car, and that I thought perhaps I would be interested in a pre-owned Subaru Forester. Later that afternoon he came into the kitchen and casually said that there's one over in Dunkirk, a LL Bean model, but there wasn't a lot of information online. Hmmmmm. Monday, he contacted the dealer, Shults Resale Center, to see what he could find out about this vehicle. The information sounded good, and so we made an appointment to drive up at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. In the meantime, wonderful Jim Gennock took probably 20 photos of the car which showed up in my e-mail around 4:45. I couldn't stand it - the car looked amazing! I called them and asked if there was some way we could guarantee that no one else would purchase it Monday night . . we agreed on a small down payment, and took care of it over the phone. Tuesday's appointment came, and we really liked the car. A couple short hours later we were driving it back to Erie . .! It was an absolute pleasure working with Jim, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shults Resale Center (and Jim!!) to family and friends.

I worked with Jim Gennock when I traded my truck in on a newer one. He was very professional and not over bearing with his sales approach. We went back an forth for about 3 days trying to get the truck into my price range. He respected the time it took for me to think about the deal and not always calling me and trying to push me into something that I wouldn't have been comfortable with.

My husband and I have purchased several cars from this dealership and have been totally pleased each time. The sales people are professional, friendly and informed. The office staff is prompt in getting the paperwork completed in a timely fashion and they do it all. You just have to sit back and wait for delivery. They make it easy and painless! I can honestly say that this dealership is the best we have ever dealt with.

I worked with Jesse Hugg at this location and I was amazed at how soon I was seen for an oil change and tire rotation. I have a fleet vehicle and the service department worked out all steps I had to take with a Fleet Card and they were able to get approval right away. It took 35 minutes for an oil change and tire rotation and the technician even helped me out with a few other issues that I was having with my vehicle. I would definitely reccomend this dealer and Jesse Hugg for service and the purchase of a new or used vehicle.

I purchased a car from Shults in June of 2011 and honestly can not find a single thing to say bad about my experience. The salesmen do NOT stalk you when you are looking around the lot, and when you are ready to purchase something, they are there to answer any and all questions you may have.I was on a tight budget with bad credit at the time, and went in asking for a few things I thought were out of the question. I told my salesman, Jim Gennock, that I wanted a car with power windows, power locks, a sunroof and to pay under $300 a month with only $1500 down. Not only did he find me a newer car with those included, my monthly payment was well under $300 and the mileage was super low. The first few things that needed to be fixed were not only done without me having to pay out of pocket, I was given a loaner vehicle so that I could still get to work with no problems.I have recommended not only my own mom to get a vehicle from Jim, but also co-workers friends and I plan on going no place else to purchase my cars from now on.Thank you Jim Gennock for your amazing service but also to everyone at the Shults teams for making me feel that I can trust you, and for not doing what most car dealerships do when a young girl comes in to purchase a car, and that's rip her off.

I went to Jim Gennock at Shults on Vineyard drivein Dunkirk NY and I've tried to reccomend him to many of my family and friends.. Why you ask? Because he's so nice and doesn't sugar coat anything and tells you the truth unlike a lot of cars sales men out there I actually was scared to go get a car because it was my first car purchase ever!! But Jim and Shults made it such a great experience I was afraid of getting ripped off or my car breaking down problems happening as soon as you drive it off the lot...you always here horror stories let me tell you I've had my car for a year and a half and there was never any horror stories and there won't be when you buy from Shults!! I'm so happy I've put about 30,000 miles on my 2007 Mazda 3 and ill I've needed to do is change oil a few times and get new tires it runs like a Beast

I called the dealership and talked to the salesman Jim. He not only found me a vehicle within a week, but also got me a great deal on it. I would recommend him, as well as this dealership to anyone looking for a great service and sale.
