My wife and I just purchased a 2016 Silverado 2500HD from Jay Kim and the staff at Simpson Chevrolet. From start to finish Jay and the rest of the staff were extremely kind and helpful in finding the right truck for us. We weren't sure about which truck to purchase, speaking with the Sewell Gutierrez from their service apartment about the benefits of the Duramax options really helped us in choosing our 2500HD. Sewell even took the extra time to walk me through more of the mechanical aspects of the truck after we already bought it. Jay was patient with us in figuring out the different options we were looking for and throughout the whole process was extremely helpful. He even called me the morning I was scheduled to come in a pick up my truck to advise me on how to save some extra cash with a new rebate that had just come available!They're Tech guy Eddie was a great help in showing me all the new features with the truck. My wife and I will keep coming back to this group of people.

I worked with Chris Sanchez, Certified Internet Fleet Manager, and he worked hard to find the exact truck I requested. Other dealers came close but only Simpson found the truck with all my preferences. They made the filling out and signing the large amounts of paperwork go quickly with the use of a high tech computer table. I usually don't write reviews but I am really impressed by the Simpson Chevrolet in Garden grove. I filled my information in a page which could share my request to dealers. So many dealers emailed me and gave me a quote but the Simpson Chevrolet's quote really impressed me and I couldn't believe that it is right but it was! My sales person was Chris Sanchez. I had made an appointment online and when I arrived, the technician knew nothing about it. It was not reflected anywhere even though I had received confirmation. I had several items I wanted addressed as my auto is still under warranty. I was told they wouldn't be able to accomplish all of them and that I would have to return at another time. I still have bad memories from the last time I got service here and so none of this settled very well with me, as you can well understand. I do believe it will adversely affect my on-going business relationship with Simpson, unfortunately. I also learned about a recall that I had not even been made aware of with my monthly diagnostics reports.

My experience at Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove was outstanding. I went on the Internet to check out prices for my new Malibu and Simpson Chevrolet and Fred Knapp were the best by far. I had stopped at two other Chevrolet Dealerships before going on the Internet to shop as my in person experiences were not what I would call nice. The salespeople out there were not product informed, could not provide me with clear pricing and were somewhat rude. What a refreshing change when I met Fred. He had the car pulled up front, clean and gassed and ready for a test drive. Fred was pleasant, courteous informed and took the time to answer all of my questions. Needless to say I will be referring all of my friends and family to Fred. He even followed up after the sale which was a pleasant surprise. I had already purchased the vehicle but he called just to see if I was getting along well with all the technology in the car.

Angelo and Jason understand the value of customer satisfaction. I had called several dealers in the area trying to locate the Suburban with the options I was looking for, Angelo went outside of the box tempting me with even more options for almost the same price, then when things fell apart (do to the Manufactures poor paint quality) Jason stepped in and said they would make it right; This is unheard of in car dealership world! Fred went out of his way to secure the vehicle I wanted, even though it was at a dealership 100 miles away. I called six local chevy dealership looking for this vehicle (2015 Spark EV) and everyone either laughed with none in stock and not sure when more were coming, or the "I'll call you when we get one in stock". Fred called me back the same day to say he could find one but it may take a day or two, and thats exactly what happened. He understood my purpose for the purchase, and completely worked with me to make it happen. What a great experience! Thank you! I do not know what you pay him, but its already not enough for the type of effort he put forth!

Eddie Sosa was the perfect salesman! He did everything right. However, the salesman who should have been taking care of me left me alone in the lot for almost 25 minutes, without even coming over to see if I needed assistance. Eddie saw me as I was going to just leave without even talking to a salesman. At Simpson Chevy, on Monday July 6th I called that morning at 8 a.m. to obtain a service appointment same day at 10 a.m. which was amazing. I have used Simpson Chevys service department for years with Jay Malloy and that is how I purchased my first Volt a year ago. You only buy a car once, but service is forever. I contacted Jay the day before letting know I was interested in getting a second vehicle there and he offered to have someone call me. Within an hour I had set-up an appointment for Monday morning. I was greeted in service with a smile by the whole team as usual. I enticed my 5 year old and 10 year old with donuts and Shark Week on the TV in the lounge and my husband and I met with Chris Sanchez who is the most down to earth sales person in the history of time. He waited for me to get the kids organized and the entire sales process was quick and easy. My favorite part was that Chris explained the process of the day; first we do this and then this takes 15 minutes etc. I felt informed every step and it made the experience so pleasant. I also want to note, I do not have awesome credit and Clay (in finance) and Chris did not make me feel bad, they were genuine and understood the economy was tough for a lot of people and assured me they were going to help me along the way. I was concerned about that and was quickly relieved. We were going to get a courtesy vehicle in service and I had to tell them we were leaving with a new 2015 Volt so we would just drive that for the day. As we pulled off the lot to get lunch in our new Volt, service called that my car was ready. Great day!

Sales agent Casey Allen did a great job helping me purchase my new 2015 Chevrolet Traverse 2LT. I was specific on the configuration and color scheme that I wanted and he worked hard to find a Traverse that fit my specifications. I felt he did his best to make the whole purchasing process go smooth and efficient, even though there were a couple "hiccups" from other departments that slowed the process down and left both he and I a bit frustrated. Once done though I drove home in a new Traverse that is exactly what I wanted, and at a more than fair price. I have since put a couple hundred miles driving the car and am very happy with it. I called at 4:30pm after getting jumped yet again by AAA for a new battery. I let them know that I was 3 minutes away & asked if it was possible to get in for a new battery. They said to come on in & they'd see what they could do for me but said they couldn't make any promises. Which I understand since I grew up in dealerships. When I got there, they said I'd have to wait till 6, but that a mechanic was willing to stay late to do it for me! I didn't even care if I had to wait an hour because I needed it desperately. But the service guys made it well worth the wait! They chatted with me in between other customers & joked around! I LOVE that! I was by no means bored that day! They were very personable & funny. To the guys working at the service counter: keep up the good work! I will drive the 25-30 minutes from Long Beach JUST for the customer service!

Was looking around for a 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and went to 4 other dealerships around Orange County but this one with the help of a Internet Sales Representative named Chris Sanchez (highly recommend) got me the best deal including more packages for the same price. Being that the Colorado's are selling quick I had to order my online with whatever I wanted then give it a couple weeks for the truck to come in. But Chris will keep you updated on the status of the truck and if you have any questions (which I had a few) he will answer it. I got what I came for without any hassle. Chris will get you what you need with great customer service. Overall I would give more stars but they only allow me 5 but I love this place.

Horrible experience. I originally asked about a 2014 and had a response in minutes for a 2015. If David McWherter slowed down a little maybe he would have realized this. After some communication we established what I wanted just to have him become unresponsive. Its very easy to tell if the salesmen genuinely cares about the consumers wants and needs when buying a car and David McWherter definitely isn't. He just rushes through things paying no attention in hopes of a sale. Avoid at all cost.

My experience was everything I needed it to be. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. I felt my service manager, Sewell, listened to me and paid attention to what I said. I felt that it was just as important to him, as it was to me, that my car be repaired to my satisfaction. My main concern was that I be kept informed during the process. I made this known at the beginning and was definitely satisfied with the communication. My car was repaired in a very short time. I was quite pleased about that, and I believe I was given a break on the cost. We own a Tahoe, Suburban, Equinox and a Cruz, and our previous vehicles were an Astro Van and two Cavaliers, as well as a previous Suburban. No doubt we are a Chevy family, and it is a HUGE relief to FINALLY find a dealership that is interested in keeping us on the road, and happy. I took a few of Sewell's business cards to put in the glove boxes of my sons' cars, so they know where to go now if they have car trouble. With a smile I can now say, "yeah, I gotta guy," when it comes to car repair. Thank you, Simpson Chevrolet.

#1, I am absolutely in love with my new Chevy Cruze Diesel! Jay Kim did absolutely everything he could do for my family and I in order to make this purchase happen. I recently purchased a 2014 traverse from Simpson Chevrolet. I am the type of buyer that does alot of homework before making any type of large purchase. Right off the bat I was impressed with the responsiveness of Jay and the crew over at SImpson. I left him a message and within a half hour he had called me back and we were talking about the options I was looking for in my vehicle. Other dealers typically took at least a day to get back to me; if they got back to me at all. The negotiation and buying process was simple and painless. Right off the bat Jay was able to give me a better price than other neighboring Chevy dealers. With the money I saved I was able to pick up a few extra options. The Dupont Coating is great. Caught a little bit of rain the first weekend we had the car and the water rolled off the car and dried super clean. The kids are loving the DVD players we were able to install. My brother is in the market for a Silverado so we will definately be visiting Jay again in the near future.

Seems odd to write a review for somewhere I didn't purchase from but I stopped by Simpson Chevrolet on my was home from work just to kill some time since I was locked out and waiting for a locksmith to arrive. I told them up front that I was not interested in buying anything bot Tom still took the time to show me around and answer questions about various models. Most of it was new to me since I haven't purchased a car in over 20 years. I've gotta say that I am pretty impressed with the Chevrolet line up. These guys were friendly and courteous even though I wasn't buying anything. They truly break the negative "high-pressure car dealership" stigma. I promise that if I find myself in the market, I will definitely stop by!

I was not very thrilled that it took 3 weeks to get the parts for the recall on my Traverse, but the guys at Simpson Chevrolet did a great job keeping me informed and notified me when the parts arrived. They did a really good job. I will give them a try for my regular service next time.

I purchased my 2014 Silverado 1500 LT from sales persons, Jay Kim and his co worker Mike. From the minute I walked through the doors everyone at the dealership was cheerful and smiling. This is a helpful staff all the way around, not pushy or slimy like some dealership people, (you know the ones, they begin lying from the time you get their name) and leave that stench after shaking your hand. None of that here. these guys all are a class act all the way around. This is a busy dealership but there was enough staff working to take care of all customers and I believe most of the customers got a double team to help with the buying transactions. Another plus with Simpson is... I've received a call from almost everyone I had the opportunity to deal with. The calls were to make sure everything was ok and to see if there were anything else they could help with. I had to come back to the dealership a week after my purchase to have a bed liner installed and my sales team came to see me in the service area, and again I received a call from my salesman and the finance manager to ensure I was satisfied with the work. I say again, these guys are a class act. In a world where people don't talk to each other any more . Simpson's employees aren't afraid to pick up the phone and call. They also use electronic communication, but for me... having someone care enough to take time out of their busy day and pick up the phone and have a conversation with me made me feel special. I have been a Chevy owner for 43 years. Simpson of Garden Grove is fabulous! From their Sales Dept, to the Finance Dept to the Service Dept, they are tops in my book. Let's start with Jay in internet sales. He is terrific. There isn't anything he won't try to accommodate the request of his customer. He noticeably knows his job well, and is very good at it. No pressure, only informs you so that you can make the best decision to meet your need. He even had the exact car I was describing, delivered to them so I could see and drive it before making a decision. His followup is admirable. Eddie took me on a very informative test drive, it was a pleasure. Matt is another quality salesperson I dealt with. He patiently showed me everything about my beautiful 2014 Malibu. He was very patient, taking a lot of time to make sure my questions were answered and requests were met. He was personable, attentive and overall dedicated to making sure I, the customer, was completely satisfied. It is evident that "The Simpson way" seems to be Customer service first. I've been pining for a Volt since I first read about them in 2010. To me, they were the most exciting an innovative thing to come out of Detroit in a generation (except for maybe the White Stripes). I did some research on various car-finder websites such as this one. I discovered Simpson Chevy's cars and prices to be FAR better than those offered by their competition. I contacted Online Sales Manager Jay Kim via email. He called me the next day. The next Saturday, my wife and kids piled into the old jalopy and headed down to Garden Grove for a test drive. Jay greeted us, and introduced us to Tim who graciously spent the next two hours explaining features and options. Before we knew it, we were driving off the lot in a newly-financed, super clean, fully-loaded, certified-used Chevy Volt. I can't tell you how happy I was to avoid haggling, counter-offering, and driving to-and-from other dealerships looking for the best offer. Some might enjoy that sort of thing. I don't. It was a one-stop shop to Simpson where I got what I already knew was going to be the very best deal available within 60 miles of my doorstep. My wife--now a self-avowed Chevrolet fan--will be looking for a car soon, too. And despite passing probably the 20-odd GM dealers on the freeways between our place and their showroom floor, I have to say, Jay and Tim have definitely earned our first look. Thanks guys.

Not only is the truck incredible, but the people at the dealership made my whole truck buying experience easy and a lot more pleasurable than it could have been. Purchased a 2014 Silverado with the help of Chris S who was able to get me a great deal. He was very patient with my wife and I and took the extra time to explain how everything worked in the vehicle. I originally called Chris on a used 2013 truck they had and he got me into the 2014 model for almost the same price. He showed excellent follow-up and care. Their finance person put us into a low interest rate loan that was better than what we were offered at out own bank (Chase). So I was in the market looking for a new car and was talking to a few dealerships. Of the five dealerships I was working with, Jay Kim of Simpson Chevrolet was the only one who actually took the time to listen to what I had to say and got me more than what I wanted. Not only was he honest and upfront about everything, he was able to get me exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price. We bought a 2012 chevy traverse. It was the best car buying experience we have ever had, no hassles, no squabbling, just honest business. Our salesman, Chris Sanchez was very informative, very helpful, and a pleasure to do business with. The finance rep was also very friendly and helpful. I bought a 2013 Chevy Tahoe from Chris S. at Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove. The whole process was comfortable, quick and easy. I got a quote through email from Jay K. and called another dealer that I was previously working with to see what he could do. The other dealer told me that it was a great buy and for that price, I should buy it from Simpson. Chris was a real pleasure to work with. He showed me the truck, let me look at it, drive it and take my time deciding. There was no pressure and Chris was truly knowledgeable. There was not one question I had that he did not have an answer for quickly. And after the purchase, he helped me set up the bluetooth and OnStar and taught me some of the features. Overall, I left feeling confident that I had purchased the right vehicle at a great price. And thanks to Chris, I already understood some of the features! I had to go back the next day to fix some of the paperwork and they actually sped up some services I had purchased to save me a trip. So they really treat their customers right. I went to Simpson Chevrolet to buy a used 2009 Scion tc and I experienced some of the best customer service I have seen since I started shopping dealerships 6 months ago. The sales man who helped me out was Jay Kim. He was really great, worked with me on the price, and was able to give me exactly the payments I needed in order to afford the car. I have dealt with countless star salesmen and he was by far the best: friendly, helpful, understanding, and patient. He was not pushy and I never once felt like I was being forced to do anything (the way other used car salesmen make you feel) Even the financial team was great, after not being able to locate an important paper for processing the loan, they were able to fix the problem and approve the loan with no hassle to me. All of the sales associates were really great, and everyone was super friendly. My used car runs great, and i felt confident buying it because of the excellent inspection it underwent. As a woman, I typically DREAD the car buying process. In fact, I think most men feel the same way. I do my homework & pretty much know what I do & don't want before I ever step out my front door. Not every dealership appreciates a buyer like me. With lots of family in the business (although none with Chevy) ... I get it. Flash forward to Simpson Chevrolet. Jay K. was professional, courteous, communicative and knew his stuff. What a totally different experience from the other dealers I spoke with in my quest for a 2013 Camaro SS. Example: I was considering a trade-in on my 2006 Charger RT. I already had a guaranteed price to sell it elsewhere. Simpson was honest with me that they couldn't match that price. Selling it vs Trading-in at Simpson meant extra days before I could take delivery on the new car. While another local dealer basically told me I'd never 'really' get the price guaranteed in writing & subsequently tried to belittle me into a deal on a car they didn't even have on the lot, Jay said no problem & even kept my Charger for pick-up by its buyer. I highly recommend contacting Jay K. at Simpson if you're looking to buy a Chevy!!

My process started almost 2 months previously. The original dealer and several since were unethical and did some illegal things. In the process I have had contact with about 10 dealers. Until I started working with Jay at Simpson, I wasn't able to arrive at a deal. Virtually all of the other dealers simply took their time about getting back to me if the did get back to me. Late Saturday I went on line and decided to contact dealers (ended up emailing 5). Two of them got back to me quickly and one followed up Sunday morning. After several emails, I called Jay. I gave him some specifics on what I was looking for and with in 5 minutes he found what I was interested in (absolutely every other dealer had taken 3 - 5 days to provide me with any information). We talked again and he said he would get back to me Monday morning after confirming that the vehicle was available for trade. Around 10:00 AM Monday, Jay did his follow up and advised me that the truck was available and he was bringing it in. If when I saw it, if I did not want it, he knew he would be able to sell it to some one else. I had one more requirement - I wanted to see a picture of the window sticker before I made the trip to the dealer. He got this to me when the truck got to Simpson. Everything looked good. We agreed that I would be there around 6:30 PM. My only remaining requirement is that I did not want to spend hours going through paper work. Arrived at Simpson's, met Jay, test drove the truck and went ahead with the purchase. Jay accomplished, in less than 36 hours, what other dealers had not been able to do in almost 2 months. He was polite, courteous, informative with out being pushy. I was very comfortable working with Jay and would highly recommend him to others. He made the process more comfortable than I ever would have thought. If Jay says he will get back to you, he does and in a timely fashion. Please keep in mind, I almost never give reviews, let alone good ones.

Well all started two weeks ago when I decided go on online search to purchase my new 2013 Camaro 2LT/RS. I emailed 5-6 Dealerships here in OC, and the best deal by far I received from Simpson Chevrolet - Chris Sanchez. He was very professional, no pressure, very informative, great customer service, and above all he kept his word on all he said he will do...(rare these days..) Now I usually do not write reviews like this but I'm taking time to thank Simpson Chevrolet and Chris Sanchez on the wonderful and pleasant buying experience they offered me and my wife. Before I decided to go with this dealership and Chris, as I mentioned I have contacted many other Chevy dealers even closer to where I leave... I was doing extensive research on line to try and find the right place for me to buy my new car...(as you are doing now..) so I read quite a few reviews and now I will like to do the same for people like me looking to buy their new car from great place with awesome personnel and no hassle! So, for one reason or another, not only that the other Chevy dealers I contacted did not provided with good enough deal (no one could come even close!) to the deal I received from Simpson Chevrolet - Chris, the others response was a bit lame... some of them sounded like even don't want to sell the car because they had to dealer-trade(had only 5-6 Camaro's on the lot..really?!?) ..and most of them did not even try to compete... And then I started to get emails that had nothing to do with what I was looking for or my Camaro inquiry... so started offering me service discount deals ... ( For a car that I have not even bought yet!!!).. Again, If you are looking for a new car, great buying experience, most pleasant people to work with and get you where you want to be on the price..., give Simpson Chevrolet and Chris Sanchez in particular, a chance to earn your business and you can thank me later :) Good Luck!

After being referred by a friend, I contacted Simpson Chevrolet in regards to the upcoming 2014 models. Even though we were months out from even being able to purchase a vehicle I was treated as I was buying a car that day. Matt, took the time my questions about changes in the new model. What information has not been released from GM yet , he kept track of and let me know when information was available. Overall I am more than pleased with my experience with Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove. They level of service did not stop at Matt Tupa. Everyone treats you like family. With strait talk every step of the way, and a fair deal to boot. I look forward to buying my new Silverado in the coming months.

My last 2 or 3 vehicle buying experiences haven't been a lot of fun. Clay Rear made my purchase of a 2013 Silverado a great experience. Jay made this the easiest sale I have ever experienced. I live in West Hollywood and we were able to do every thing over the phone.He made sure I got the exact car I wanted and even had one transferred. He made sure I got a good honest deal and never made me feel like I was jumping into something I didn't want. I also never felt as though I was being sold, which was really important. I usually don't write reviews unless they're bad. I felt compelled to right a positive 1 because I had the best possible experience buying a new Chevy Volt last month. I dealt with the Internet Department both Matt and Jay were awesome. they got me exactly what I wanted at a very fair price and their customer service is the best I have ever seen in 20 + years of buying new cars. I would highly recommend Simpson to anybody in the market for a new or pre owned Chevrolet, they will treat you right.

Went to simpson for some Repairs on my truck on recommendation from a friend. When I got there the service staff, were courteous and knowledgable regarding my issues. They had a full schedule but upon hearing that I had driven a good distance to have them work on my truck, they squeezed me in and fixed my issues very quickly. They did not try to sell me a bill of goods or additional services. They fixed what was needed and at a reasonable price. I hope I never need repair work again but If I do, I will be going back to Simpson.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! Bought my car from them and have used them for repairs now on numerous occasions and found them extremely helpful! The service is wonderful and everybody I have ever worked with there has been fantastic! (To the negative posts) All car dealerships just like every other business have to make money too if they gave you the car for what you wanted they wouldn't make money, and how is that fair? I think they are awesome and extremely fair on prices! I love my Tahoe and I will be buying all my cars from here!

Do yourself a favor and read the other online reviews. I'm sorry I didn't. These guys sold me a new truck with an altered electrical system. They didn't disclose this to me. When I contacted Chevrolet Customer Service to open a complaint, I was told that I have NO WARRANTY on anything electrical because they altered the system.The sales people also took the window sticker off the car and hid it from me. They also made material misrepresentations on the vehicle. Wasted my whole day. I'm now having electrical problems with the new truck. Chevrolet flagged the truck in the system. No dealer will work on it unless I pay them out of my pocket.Go buy a vehicle from any other dealer but this bunch of crooks. Read the online reviews. I'm not the only one who has been ripped off by their crooked sales practices. The old bait and switch along with finance scams are clearly part of the business practices at Simpson.Lastly, even after I complained to Chevrolet Customer Service nobody from Simpson Chevrolet ever contacted me to see what the issues were that I was having with the new truck. The company attorney contacted them. However, they have refused to answer any of his letters.
