Went to S & K today with my mom to trade in both of our cars - lucked out and got Bob (my husband and I had the pleasure of working with him in early April). S&K promptly received a factory warranty item for my vehicle very quickly. They called me when it came in. I was going to call to set up an appointment the following week. They beat me to it. I mentioned that it's difficult for me to get vehicle there. I happened to be off early that day and mentioned that to them. They said bring it in. We will take care of it ASAP. They did exactly that. I had a very small wait, they fixed it and I was on my way back home in no time.

As always, the service was performed with no problems. I have confidence in the mechanics who work on my vehicle at S & K so that service is done competently and completely. It is not true that it costs more to have a certified dealer do maintenance and repairs. S & K charges fees comparable to any other repair shops, but uses genuine GM parts.

We ended up finding a Buick Enclave online with S&K Buick GMC. Called the service manager to asked about the vehicle. We told him about the vehicle we wanted to trade. We made a conditional deal over the phone. It was enough to get us to drive 4 hours each way to buy the vehicle. When we arrived the vehicle was prepped and paperwork prepared. S&K is Amaxzing! My car broke down 20 feet from this dealership and luckily i was able to pull it into the dealership. My car stated shaking in the middle of the street and the engine than began to power down. I luckily pulled it into the dealership and pulled it straight into the service bay. The service advisors were AWESOME!! They greeted me and asked me how they could help me and totally calmed me down about my car, they had full confidence they could fix it and told me that it was no problem to get it in right away. Within 30 minutes another service advisor came up to me and handed me my keys. They said my car was fixed and they even washed and detailed it for free. Such an amazing crew at S&K and i had such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommed this dealership for sales and service! Such a great crew!

The employees at S&K are very friendly and helpful. I bought a used Buick Lacrosse last August & within a couple of days it had a rattle. I took it back & they did everything possible to find it to no avail. The service department was great doing everything they could to figure it out. I continued to drive it for several more months & finally had to give it up. I couldn't live with the noise any more. They were so VERY helpful and willing to do whatever it took to make it right. The rattle wasn't their fault & I truely belive they had no idea it was there when they sold it to me. We never heard it on the test drive. Dan Stewart was the best! He did everything he could to help me trade the car in for a 2011 Chevy Equinox. He made it right and gave me an excellent deal! And Victoria Swalley was wonderful & so friendly & helpful. By the time I had driven the Equinox, gone over all the papers & finalized it all I felt like I had known her forever. She was so good at explaining all the features & walking me thru the set up of On Star & the XM Radio & getting my phone set up. I understood it all and have had no problems since. She is a HUGE asset to S&K. They are a great group of people t o do business with.

Tried contacting this dealer from cars.com and received a phone call from salesperson at dealership. Explained I didn't need to test drive anything as I've already done so in my hometown. (65 miles away) Went on to ask about "best price" before making the 2 hour round trip commute, asked for follow-up and received nothing back. Dear S&K,We blew a transmission on I55 with our Chevy Suburban pulling a travel trailer Thursday Dec26th. We're from Iowa and knew no one in Springfield. After asking around we got the name S&K and went on the Internet and got their number. AJ Brown went to work and got us a tow truck and towed our trailer himself to S&K. Within 24 hours it looks like he'll have us back on the road. This, to me, is beyond all expectations. My service rep is Rodney Rodgers. He is fantastic to work with. He goes above and beyond to see that the customer is happy. His knowledge is superior. Also the salesman I buy my vehicles from is Jose Wingo. He is awesome to work with. There is no pressure put on from him at all. His knowledge about the product is also superior. The experience that my wife and I experienced at S&K was the best experience we have had when purchasing a vehicle. Bart was professional and knowledgeable about all of the vehicles that we viewed. Bart offered his assistance to us, with the vehicle, after we have the vehicle at home. Bart emphasized, repeatedly, that we could call him anytime with questions. I had an excellent experience with my recent purchase of a 2013 Buick LaCrosse. Every person I had interaction took care to ensure that a friendly along with a professional experience was well acheived. Victoria and Dan especially were great in answering questions along with their excellent customer service. My schedule only permitted me to easily come to the dealership at around 5 pm. Even though Victoria normally doesn't work past 5 pm, she volunteered to arrange to be able to meet and show me the car. Again, I am impressed by S&K Buick and am defnitely a satisfied consumer. I can not believe how amazing of an experience my husband and I had at this dealership. After visiting countless dealerships not finding the car we wanted or salesmen driving around with us, talking about illegal activities they participated in or asking us 3824983 questions and needing so much information when we were just browsing it was SO refreshing being at a dealership where the people were down to earth and just amazing to work with. Jose got us the car we were looking and more all for a price that fit our budget. Also this was the fastest I have EVER gotten out of a dealership, less than 3 hours. No hoops to jump through, no waiting on banks to approve a loan just fast service. I would highly recommend this dealership and their salesmen to anyone looking to buy a car.It might be weird to say but Jose didn't pressure us into buying the car at all, he could care less if we bought one but he sure as heck worked hard when we decided :)Oh and Simon did amazing with all the paperwork- so fast and professional! <3 Seriously best dealership ever!

This place has horrible service and will cost you a lot of money along with disrespect from clueless employees. They gave me a diagnostic on my car for a PASSENGER door being broke and i was told i needed a DRIVER's door module. I was already told by 1 Stop Auto Shop that I needed a module for the door but without the proper test, which only certain places have due to high cost, could not be sure. I then took it to S&k at the recommendation of 1 Stop. i went to autozone to get parts for something else already getting fixed and they told me to try landmark cadillac because they might be cheaper. To my surprise it was whole $100 cheaper. I called back to verify the price at S&K and A.J. Brown, the service manager that made this a horrible experience, immediately caught an attitude and told me "well take it over there then." I am a Soldier and a single parent. We don't make a lot of money and every penny counts so i went over to landmark. I called again to ask what exactly i needed and i was told a DRIVERS DOOR MODULE. I said why would i need that for a passenger door. He cut me off and said again, very rudely, A DRIVERS DOOR MODULE! i said ok i'll tell them. I went to landmark but I did not get another $90 diagnostic because i figured that would be ridiculous and trusted A.J. Brown. I said why would they say i need this part for the passengers door and landmark said with it being electrical it could be causing an issue in the other door but had no way of knowing without the diagnostic. The part being electrical cannot be taken out once it's in. The people at Landmark said that the DRIVERS DOOR MODULE that A.J. Brown told me i needed did nothing. A.J. told me they are ignorant and had no idea what they were doing. The guy working on my car has been working on Cadillacs for 35 years according to the certifications on his wall. A.J. said it must be reprogrammed. They said it didnt need it, their diagnosis was just wrong. I went back to S&K expecting a reprogramming and be done with it. A.J. walks back in and said "we went in and it DOESN'T need reprogramming (just like landmark said) it works just fine." I said no that's not true the passenger door still does not work. He said but its here for the drivers door. I said no that door has never had an issue. He said "you brought it here for that and you knew exactly why you brought it here and understood that when you brought it." I'm furious at this point and said, "Why would i bring something that works to see you and you told me on multiple occasions it was the DRIVERS DOOR MODULE. Apparently you didnt check to see if the door worked." He continued to call me a liar without using the word, completely disrespecting me. They checked the car again and the PASSENGER DOOR MODULE, at $367 and all the time i've taken off work resulting in a loss of over $100 in wages, was the issue! I recorded by video, from my cell phone hip case the whole second conversation as his boss Randy Powell sat there and let A.J. disrespect me again and call me a liar saying that him and his team knew exactly what they were doing and what i asked for. So WHY did this man and his team NOT CHECK THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE DOOR AND HOW IF THE DOOR STILL WORKED WAS IT BROKEN! He told me and his boss that the notes in the computer, which are written by him and his team, not the computer, stated it was that door. A.J. Brown and at this point S&K Buick on Dirksen in Springfield, IL IS A DISHONEST USED CAR DEALERSHIP! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR FOR SERVICE THERE! I cannot speak on the sales teams or the quality of their cars, only on the service teams inability to tell the truth when they make a mistake costing me at this point over $500. I also informed them on video that i have uploaded to Youtube, if you'd like to see it, that i will be taking them to court, the attorney generals office, and the better business bureau as well as news channel 20.

I cannot speak on the sales teams or the quality of their cars, only on the service teams inability to tell the truth when they make a mistake costing me at this point over $500. I also informed them on video that i have uploaded to Youtube, if you'd like to see it, that i will be taking them to court, the attorney generals office, and the better business bureau as well as news channel 20.

I have been doing business with SK Buick GMC for over 19 years, have purchased several GMC produces, I have always received excellent service, and everyone I deal with are friendly. I presently have two GMC trucks, and the service tech I deal with is always friendly, cooperative, and works to see that everything is done as I requested.

Hank Diaz did an excellent job of greetng me, setting me up with the financial manager to get the paperwork signed and my car traded in. He went through my old car and made sure everything was out and in the new one before I left. I found the perfect car at SK I was looking for by surfing on the net. The dealership is 350 miles from where I live. It's too bad they are not closer because I certainly would continue to do business with them in the future.

Late in the morning when driving my Cadilac, the alert on the dash indicated the need for coulant. The temperature of the coulant rose rapidly as I parked for my doctor's appt. A call to Rodney at S & K indicating my need to leave the state early the next a.m. impressed on him my need for immediate service. They were able to replace the faulty water pump and have the car finished by 4:30 pm.

I inquired about the above service, and he referred me to Mr. Norton. Mr. Norton described the paint seal service, answered my questions and furnished the internet address for more product information and warranty. After reviewing this data at home, I ordered the service from Mr. Norton. He set up the service to accommodate our schedule and arranged for a loaner car so my wife could attend a Board Meeting and luncheon that was important to her. The shop people made the car, including the wheels, look brand new--just like it did in the showroom eight months previous.Mr. Yeske revised the driver's seat position for me and demonstrated how to use the remote engine start. Thanks to Mr. Norton and Mr. Yeske, the above service went very smoothly.

I have visited your dealship and brought from it three times. Every time I have been in your dealership I've been greeted by friendly helpful people. I have been given excellent prices and or interest rates. I was going to try and get a cheaper price on this last vehicle and when I looked up the blue book value I just could not ask for a better price. As for your service department, I've been greeted by courteous personnel which have corrected a problem or perfomed the work that I've asked to be done. Overall, I would definately recommend your dealership to anyone interested in buying a vehicle. I would also ask that they go through Stuart Gibbs if he is available.

I started on the internet and found exactly what I was looking for. I put in a request and was immediately contacted by Cody. He was very friendly and thought he could help me out. I went by the dealership that evening and was introduced to Mark Mariconi because Cody had to drive a vehicle to Oklahoma. Mark was very friendly and made the whole experience very pleasant. We got a deal that I was good with and called my husband. I met and spoke to Chuck who gave me some financial info that I needed for my husband. We didn't do the sale that night because my husband wanted to discuss it further. After having all of his questions answered we were good to go. I called the next morning (today, 10/25/11) and said I could come in at noon and my husband could come in after he got off work at 3:30. Marc and Simon (love the accent!) had everything ready for me and the process went very smoothly and in good time. I would definitely give your names to friends and family. I appreciate everything you did for me to make the deal!

Thank you for the opportunity to rate Mr. Stuart Gibbs of S&K Buick GMC in Springfield, IL. I am a widow, partially disabled, and he was most helpful and understanding when I selected my GMC Terrain. He felt that it would be a vehicle I could get in and out of comfortably. There was absolutely no pressure on his part for me to buy that vehicle, but when I made the decision to buy the Terrain, he treated me as though I was the only customer he had. He explained every feature on the Terrain and made sure that I understood everything. His professionalism and complete knowledge of the Terrain were very evident. When I take my Terrain in for service S&K, he always makes it a point to greet me and visit for a few minutes. After I purchased the Terrain, he was quick to answer any questions that I had. Mr. Gibbs is the type of car salesman everyone wishes they could deal with when buying a vehicle. Regarding the Terrain, I am glad that I purchased it and I have had inquiries regarding the Terrain and how I liked it. The only answer I have for them is "Great"; and I would certainly buy another Terrain. The only condition I would put on my next purchase would be that I purchase it from Mr. Gibbs.

We had decided to buy a new truck and we had chosen a GMC because of the quality and and pride in workmanship the GMC corporation is known for. In addition we had decided to buy from S&K because of your reputation for honesty and integrity within the Springfield, Il area. We were pleasantly surprised when we met our salesperson, Mr. Stuart Gibbs. Mr.Gibbs displayed a high degree a professionalism seldom seen anymore.Mr. Gibbs was courteous, respectful and in general very honest and open with us during our experience.Mr. Gibbs made us feel completely at ease and took whatever time we needed to answer all our questions and never once tried to pressure us into buying a new vehicle. We felt like he really cared rather than just a salesman trying to get his commision.Mr.Gibbs was extremely knowledgable when explaining the trucks features and took extra time making sure we had a basic working knowledge of each system. Mr. Gibbs has also called us several times to follow up with us to make sure we were happy with our purchase. Lets just say if you plan on buying anything from this dealer you better ask for a CarFax because I took them as an honest dealership like their ad says and I got taken for thousands. This review is not my opinion, it is straight up facts! This dealership is all about the deal! Not customer satisfaction! I bought a vehicle from this dealership that had been wrecked with airbags deployed, but because I did not ask for the Carfax, they think its ok to take me for thousands of dollars. I would not recommend this dealer to my worst enemy!

I went to look at buying a car and they ran my credit report without my approval. I was already pre-approved through my bank and they knew I was going to finance through my bank. Do not go to this dealership. You can not trust them.
