I had a great experience here. Someone approached me immediately and asked what I was looking for. They did not have the car I wanted so they went out of their way to search for the one I wanted. They will trade with other dealers to get the car you want. Unfortunately, they could not find mine. When I looked at the car they had available, they took me outside and showed me the features on the car and what it had to offer. Very informative.

Traded a 2012 Jeep Liberty for a new 2015 Grand Cherokee. I told the salesman, Kendall Henry, I wanted to keep the same monthly payment. He was very friendly and personable and we worked together to get the deal done. He showed us all the new features of the vehicle that we were not familiar with. Just bought a new Dodge Journey from South Oak Dodge. I was very happy with the overall experience. Steve and Ryan were great - patient, informative and not pushy at all. I stopped in late on a Friday and wrapped up at 9P. Even though it had been a long day for everyone, they were still very patient and positive. The porters stayed late to get the car cleaned up and fueled also. Very good experience. Oh yeah - I love my car too!

My sales lady was Erin. She contacted me about a coupon Chrysler gave me. I just knew I loved my 200 until she showed me the new one. I purchased a 200 sport and left the dealership with the same payment I had on my old one. She showed me how to use everything and I don't think I will be able to figure everything out they have so much stuff now! She told me I can come in for her to help me when ever I needed the help isn't she a sweetie? Or I can use my cute assistant button. I have never had a sales person that was so excited for me. Went in to purchase a used 2015 Jeep Cherokee and ended up purchasing a brand new 2015 Jeep Cherokee. With the sales incentive and rebates they offered the price was equal to the internet price of the 2015 used Cherokee. They got me a great interest rate and offered me fair (not great) price for trade-in. Best part was there really was no haggling over the price. Felt sales people offered good deal, also low-key approach when I went into financing. Offered some "extended" warranty and GAP Insurance but purchased neither and sign and deal done in 5 minutes. Good place, already recommended dealership to my son.

Initiated contact online, they had a listing on cars.com that was exactly what I was looking for (a used Subaru). Did a fine job of making things as easy as possible for me without being overbearing. Quite willing to accommodate a couple different requests I had, such as requesting a Carfax in addition to the Autocheck report the listing already had, and taking vehicle to the Subaru dealer for a pre-purchase inspection before final sale. Willing to do negotiate sale price some, felt it was very reasonable final price. Have had vehicle for 2 months now, very pleased. Robert Booth was very easy to work with, professional, and responsive, followed up several times after purchase to check and see if there was anything else they could do.

South Oak Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM is a fantastic dealership that has helpful, well-educated, and friendly staff members. As soon as I arrived at the dealership I was offered assistance with finding the 2015 Jeep Wrangler I was looking for, and literally 5-10 minutes later I was in the driver's seat going on a test drive. The sales associate that I had the pleasure working with was Nicole Fisher who helped me throughout the entire process from test drive to driving off the lot, I highly recommend anyone to ask for her because she is honest, hardworking, beyond helpful, and a great person to work with. The finance team was also extraordinarily helpful in finding the best possible price that I felt comfortable with. They also provided me several different options that I could take that would help with the car buying process. I was searching for a car throughout the day and my mom told me about South Oak Dodge Chrysler Jeep located in Matteson, Illinois. We end up stopping at this location to see a car that I liked. We spoke to a gentleman named Marvin and the customer service was terrific, no doubt about that. I was actually trying to search for a used car, but end up driving off with a new Chrysler 200 car. We were there for about 2 hours and it was well worth it! My new car drives smoothly and it looks great both the inside and outside, along with many great features that I know I would enjoy. I would recommend this dealership with anyone,. Overall, the experience was terrific, the car looks great/drives great. Customer service was on point the whole time and the sale person help me out to drive off with a new 2015 Chrysler 200.

Southoak Dodge went the extra mile for me (as they always do). As the new 2015 Chrysler 200 has just started to come out, they made sure to get me the exact model with the specifications that I wanted. I had very specific requirements for color, trim, and options. There was no pressure to look at a model that didn't fit my specifications. The price on the 200 that I purchased was lower than any other dealership was able to offer me. I also got a very fair value on my trade in. As I work late, and wasn't able to get to the dealership prior to 8:30pm, they had several employees stay after closing time to wrap up the deal. Scott Chenoweth was even able to get a lot of information from me over the phone so that when I showed up to purchase the vehicle everything was taken care of very quickly! Mark Hester and the finance team were able to get me a great rate and walked me through several different payment options. To top off the great buying experience, the new 2015 Chrysler 200 is an amazing vehicle and I am very happy with my purchase.

I visited several Dodge dealers before coming upon South Oak Dodge. Once at the dealership, I was greeted by Kendall Henry. He was kind, courteous and professional. He showed me several of the vehicles that I was looking for. Since I was not completely satisfied with what I was seeing, he actually found me a fully loaded Dodge Journey within my price range. I loved how he explained the features of the vehicle as well as their function. I did have to bring my children, (which he did not seem to mind) and was patient and kind to them. I plan to purchase another vehicle for my daughter soon from Kendall at South Oak Dodge, and I am hoping to also pay off this vehicle early so that I can return back to this dealership and purchase with Kendall Henry again. Just when I thought all hope was lost, Ryan Ganser, Ray Cioe, and Jesus Maldonado came to the rescue! My wife and I were able to sign for a car in just a matter of a couple hours. My family and I have a Mitsubishi that could go out on us at any given time unless we get some needed parts but I always wanted to get another vehicle but I wasn't so sure about financing again due to past experiences. The South Oak facility was clean and the dealership had a nice, friendly atmosphere. I met my dad at the dealership after work and he was already there looking at brochures. Upon entering I was greeted by an attractive saleswomen who was waiting to assist with any questions we had. We'd been to numerous dealerships prior to South Oak and very few of them had a sales associate available promptly to assist with questions. It was nice not having to seek someone out. I had already narrowed it down to one or two cars I was interested in and so she went over some of the options that fit into my specifications. After about 15 - 20 minutes we had narrowed it down to a charcoal gray SXT Charger and she offered a test drive. She had a wealth of knowledge about the vehicles in question as well as the various options that they offered and was very thorough in answering questions for us. Definitely a Plus! So much so that I'd imagine she has been working there several years. After our test drive we headed back inside to talk numbers. It was my first car purchase so although I may have been a bit nervous (probably an understatement), the process went smoothly. I was thankful for her patience throughout this process. Most importantly Erin gave us space to make the decision. They came back with a ballpark price range before running my credit. After actually running my credit, she came back with a better price, one that I thought was a pretty solid price and I went for it! All in all it was a great experience for me. I left feeling comfortable with the process and feeling like I had gotten a good deal. I will be purchasing my next vehicle from South Oak and I look forward to recommending this dealership to anyone i know interested in buying a Chrysler made vehicle. I did a lot of research for a few months for the right opportunity to purchase a used pickup truck. I wasn't necessarily anticipating purchasing until the Spring, but things came together that made it the right time to purchase my 2004 F-150. Jim Matt was pleasant to work with. The price was reasonable. The condition of the vehicle is great! They went through the everything and replaced the brakes prior. They met the financing terms that I needed to meet my monthly budget. If you are in the market for a car SOUTHOAK CHRYSLER in Matteson IL is the place to go. I was in the market for a car. After doing my research online because I knew what I wanted, I made a phone call to the dealership, I got Ryan G on the phone. Pleasant from the first call. I told him what I was looking for (saw it online) he checked, it was still there. I explained to him I did not live close to the dealership (over 50 miles) but I was willing to make the trip to check out the car. Let me tell you it was worth the trip !!!! I was very impressed with just the appearance of the dealership. Bright, clean and the first person we encountered greeted us and held the door. When entering the showroom we told him Ryan was the person we needed to see. He showed us to seats and offered us refreshments. Customer service is very important to me and you certainly get it here. Ryan had already pulled the vehicle out and had it waiting. I was sold, even before I took the test drive. It was better in person. Loved, loved, loved everything about this car. From the moment I arrived it was a great experience. The best part is I felt no pressure, the salesmen I met at the door was the one I delt with the whole way through. Right from the start of my visit I was greeted by Ryan Ganser in a polite manner and was not pushy. I spent some time talking with him and Garrett Guest about what I was looking for and what my price range was. While they took care of getting the value of my trade in, Ryan had me test drive a 2014 Durango. Ryan did a great job of explaining all the features and capabilities of the Durango. When it was my turn to drive Ryan was attentive to my questions and did not try to push anything on my. After getting back Garrett suggested I take a look at a certified pre-owned 2012 Durango. Ryan showed me the differences between the 2012 and 2014. After getting the value of my trade in I found out I was able to save money on what my current payments where. Paperwork was a breeze and the dealership did a great job of cleaning up the Durango and making it look brand new. All my needs were met while working with Ryan and I couldn't be any happier.

What a nightmare. We bought a used Dodge Caravan from this dealership in late May. By August 1, I thought something was wrong with the brakes. My husband brought it in and they diagnosed it as a master cylinder issue. $650 later, and we were told the problem was fixed. And it was. For about a month. At the beginning of September the brakes went out again. We brought it back to the dealership, given a rental, and were told that it was a faulty master cylinder. They replaced it, free of charge. Said the problem was fixed. NOPE. ONE WEEK LATER the brakes went out again. This time, we were told it was something with an ABS seal causing the master cylinder to malfunction. They fixed it, again, free of charge. And said the problem was fixed. Unfortunately for us, the problem was NOT fixed. Just this past Tuesday, driving home from Chicago, the brakes started failing AGAIN. We went directly to the dealer and they gave us a rental and said they'd look at it. Now, they diagnosed a problem of a faulty hydraulic control unit. We were originally quoted a price of $800 to fix it, before my husband argued them down to it being replaced for free. FOUR times we have brought our van in over the span of 2 months. For the same issue. FOUR times, we have been without our own personal vehicle. And this time, while waiting for our car to be fixed, we were asked to bring back the van they gave us as a loaner the other day because they needed to sell it. More inconvenience for my family, and now we are put into a smaller car while we wait for our van to possibly be fixed. I do not have any faith in this service department and I am terified to drive the van again when it comes back. We have been very fortunate so far as to not have been involved with any accidents with the unsafe vehicle this dealership sold us. Some employees at the dealership have been very helpful in trying to rectify this situation. (Tim in Service and Johnathan have been very helpful at least) Or so we thought. Our salesman called, and wanted to know what he could do to help, etc. He made the suggestion of trading the van in for something else. At first, this sounded like a great idea to us, we could get out of this vehicle that we are afraid to take our family anywhere in, and we started to shop around for a different vehicle. We had assumed, that they would be giving us what we paid for it (4 months ago) in a trade. Oh how we were wrong. It came out that the used car sales manager was only willing to give us HALF of what we paid for our van. Instead of trying to help us, or "restore our faith in the dealership", he apparently saw it as a good time to try to make some more money off of us. How incredibly insulting. Our time, frustration, and inconvenience means nothing to these people. We will never buy another car from this dealership.

Everything went well except they refused to acknowledge me as co-owner of the vehicle. They had no trouble taking my check but every follow up call addressed only my husband and not myself. I felt that was very sexist of them and I thought that America has long since past that hurdle. Also, Zeus told us about a program that would reimburse us for the cost of transferring handicap equipment to the new van. He gave us the form. We filled out the form and returned it to the dealership as advised. They sent it in for processing but never signed it. It took 3 months to straighten that out. But, it was straightened out and overall, it was a good experience and we are happy with the van.

My sales person was Erin Garcia, who I had an excellent experience with. She completely did her job perfect, she constantly did not harass me into buying a vehicle she gave me the required space and took the time to research vehicles that best fit my need. I was not an easy customer for the simple fact that I am young, I'm twenty-two years of age with barely any credit. But she keep trying and trying to put me in a car that best suited me and my family needs. I visited South Oak Dodge previously about 2 years ago which I had a very negative experience with a former sales person who constantly harassed me about getting a car. The former sales person would call my cellphone about five times a day and my job at least three times. After that experience I vowed to never return back but out of curiousity I returned a few days ago to check out prices for used cars, and I was approached by Erin Garcia who was very friendly and nice and was able to relate to me. A few days later I found myself driving in a brand new 2014 Jeep Patriot and although its only been a few days I love my patriot. Because of Ms. Erin Garcia customer service and I can not picture myself doing business with any other dealership but South Oak Dodge. I visited countless number of dealerships and none gave me as much wonderful customer service as Ms. Garcia did. I am proud and happy to be her first sell. South Oak Dodge is in my personal opinion the greatest and honesty dealership located in the south suburbs.

My experience with South Oak Dodge began the evening of October 2, 2013 while on the internet looking to trade my 2008 Ford F-150 FX4. I was in the process of finding a vehicle that had less mileage and something that was cheaper in payment per month. While on line I found a 2011 Dodge Ram that I picked. The first person I had contact with was Navar of internet sales. Navar set my appointment up with Rene Levy the next day 10/3/13. My experience was very good and the staff was excellent. Mr. Levy and Mr. Maldonado was very professional, courteous, and honest. The staff worked very diligent at placing me in the right vehicle with the right price. In my search for a new vehicle (specifically a Jeep Grand) this was the THIRD dealership which I visited. The other two (also in the South Suburbs but will remain nameless) could not compare to Denny Guest. My initial contact was via a brief telephone conversation (Ryan G). The vehicle that I inquired about had not yet been delivered to the dealership. Ryan was true to his word and followed up promptly upon the vehicle's arrival (Ray Cio, the manager, and Jesus Maldonado, finance dept, were helpful as well). My overall experience was based on the customer service, knowledge of sales rep., vehicles in stock as well as price. Although I reside in downtown Chicago (quite a distance from the dealership!!), I plan to allow Denny Guest's service department to service my vehicle in the future.

My experience with South Oak Dodge as well as Kendall Henry was excellent. I had been to another dealership seeking a van and was shown one with all the features which was out of my price range. Even when they showed me the lower version the prices they were quoting me for a monthly payment was beyond my means. Instead of looking for another bank that could finance me with the way I needed I was offered multiple cars that I didn't like as the only alternative. After two weeks of being constantly hounded by them I decided to go to South Oak Dodge by the recommendation of a family member who had recently bought from them. To my delight I met Kendall Henry who immediately assessed my financial means and began to show me cars that were within my range. I still had my eyes set on the Dodge Grand Caravan and expressed that to him. He showed me the AVP which was more along the price range that I needed and the staff began to seek financing that was the best fit for me. I was very excited that they found a bank that could finance me and that my payments were just what I was looking for after I was told by the other dealership that it wasn't possible. Mr. Henry was very patient with me that day because I had to leave and collect my down payment and I know that he stayed in the work place past the time that he usually gets off just to complete my business. They didn't have the color that I wanted in stock so one had to be shipped, and to my surprise, I was given a nice car to drive for the weekend while I waited. ( I thought that I would have to leave in my old car while I waited) They delivered the car the day it was promised and the paperwork was all together and didn't take a long time to get through. I am a very satisfied customer that would certainly refer friends and family to South Oak Dodge as well as Mr. Kendall Henry. Mr. Henry's patience, kindness, and overall willingness to answer all my questions were very refreshing. South Oak Dodge's professionalism and expeditious manner of finding financing was pleasant and stress free. I'm glad to say that I purchased my FIRST new car from them!

Kendall was nice and easy to deal with. He was friendly and professional. He showed us a few vehicle options that we were not aware of. Shannon was my first contact. Purchased the vehicle over the phone in only 15 minutes. We had test driven the car at another dealership, but the exact vehicle we wanted was not available. On April 29 2013, Checked on South Oak Dodge "Grand Caravan" inventory on their website, emailed South Oak Dodge & received an email reply. Received a call from Shannon Guest within an hour and setup an appt in 2 hrs. Met with her and she introduced me to David Brown for "Sales". We talked than gave me the keys and told me to take it on a test drive (alone). We finalized the sale and I was out of the showroom with a new 2013 Grand Caravan within 3 1/2 hours. David Brown, an all around excellent sales associate and good person. Toward the end of the process, Shannon thanked me for the purchase. I, in the past, have purchased 2 new vehicles from South Oak and still have them (2001 Ram Van & 2008 Ram Truck). I have given the rating of 5 "GREAT" because A.J Knoll and Ryan Ganser took the time to make sure I was completely satisfied with the vehicle I purchased. Although, the vehicle was not the one I had requested and put down a down payment of $1,000.00 to HOLD. The dealership that had the vehicle had sold it. A.J Knoll was told the vehicle was sold when he arrived at the dealership with the check in hand to purchase the vehicle because that dealership did not find one at South Oak Dodge to swap metal for metal. A.J did his best to make sure I was satisfied and apologized for what happened. But, the mishap was all out of his control. A.J had to leave before I came to South Oak Dodge to pick up the alternate vehicle he brought back for me. He called and ensured me Ryan will assist me with finalizing the purchase. Ryan was very apologetic for what had happen and made sure I was completely satisfied with the vehicle. Thank you A.J and Ryan, I appreciate everything you did. Although this was an experience, I am very happy with the car. I think come winter I will appreciate the heated seats more than the blue tooth hands free device.

I had a great experience at South Oak Dodge Chrysler Jeep. The staff went out of its way to get me into the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. Every employee I interacted with throughout the process was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely buy another car from them.

After doing quite a bit of research online, it was clear that South Oak Dodge had the best prices and best value. We went in with a specific car in mind and were immediately greeted and helped. Kendall showed us what we wanted and got right to work. There was no pressure to look at cars we weren't interested in or to talk us into buying something else. After our test drive, we say down and began looking at paperwork and prices. When Kendall came back with a number that we couldn't afford, he worked with us to get a more reasonable price. He was very friendly and personable, and he was easy to work with. I appreciated his patience and willingness to work with us to make this all possible. We were not pressured into buying optional equipment or warranties, and we walked away feeling like we got a great deal and were treated well. I would highly recommend this dealership and salesman to anyone looking for a great value.
