Said oil was changed, and it was not; strong odor of gas on dip stick.The wind shield fluid was very low. We refilled it. Roy said he would take care of us and we appreciate that very much. I was Working With Paul Watson on Buying a GMC Sierra, but it just wasn't quite want I was Looking For. So Paul did the extra effort and we drove all the lots looking at the trucks,encase we hadn't seen them all. On the way out I spotted this 2015 GMC Canyon Extended Cab Setting in the back. It had just arrived, no one new about it and it had not been cleaned. If Paul hadn't Taken the Extra Time and Effort I would not have brought this truck , or even SEEN IT. I recently came in for tire rotation and oil/filter change, that went great! A check of my battery showed that it was about to give in, so it was replaced, and I am really greatful that this condition was caught and rectified. Mr. Williams, my service writer, always works with me to get me in and out in minimal time, he takes his job to heart. The thing I don't understand is, why when the tires are rotated, they are NOT checked for proper balance. Even if the customer was offered to pay for the balancing, at least they would know of an potential problem. It's not good business to perform one without the other.

I just wanted to say that working with Terry Lane and the crew was the best car buying experience Ive ever encountered and this is my seventh vehicle. From the time that I arrived to the time that I left, they took care of me and made a deal without any haggling or stalling. Prior to shopping for my Chevy Volt, I had conducted a considerable amount of research on the car so I would be prepared when coming in to shop. Upon my initial visit to Southtowne, unfortunately the remaining two models of the Volt were not starting. I recognize that this was not the staff's fault but of the the five gentlemen assisting, none of them could find a solution to this situation. I did feel awfully important commanding this kind of attention ;)When inquiring on the different features, none of the associates were too familiar with this particular car and we were given misinformation on one of the models being 'all-wheel drive.' I left the lot and returned two days later and I was able to test drive the car. Rick ended up taking over the sale and was very informative and friendly. He was eager to help, if he did not have an answer he made a point to find the info necessary. I understand that new associates and others may not be familiar with every car on the lot, but I would recommend that if Chevy offers new technology training on their products that each and every associate takes part in this. In addition, I did have my parents with me during the process due to this being my first new car purchase. They stayed until the contract was drawn up and all of the numbers were broken down. When returning to sign what I thought would be the same contract verbatim, I felt tricked when I learned at a later date that non-obligatory costs were added to my contract. In the future I would recommend that the Finance Department remain true to the initial contract drawn and not 'trick' their clients. I will also be forewarning future people I recommend this dealership to, to be wary of this tactic. As far as working with me as a new car buyer, the team (Rick and Ken) were able to work with my budget and help me get an affordable rate on the car I initially set out to get. I truly appreciate them offering the 0% interest for me and working with the 'out the door' payments.All in all though, Rick was a sweetheart and he was able to facilitate the process of buying a car in a very well mannered and professional demeanor. I would recommend him to future car buyers and also recommend that he have a hand in the standards in which new associates may follow when training in sales.Thanks so much guys, I am beyond excited!

In for oil change, mentioned that I a nail/screw in tire and please look at it and fix, check pressure and rotate tires. Oil was changed - tires not rotated, nail/screw still in tire - air pressure not even checked - the tire with the object embedded object was still in the same position and all tire pressures were the same as when I arrived - 31 PSI in that one tire and 33 in the other three. What has happen - service and request used to be GREAT!! I know it was a busy day but would rather have waited another 1/2 hour to have issue addressed or told they could not do it!!!!!

This is my third purchase from Southtowne Motors. I enjoy shopping there. I like the service department there. My recent experience can best be described as low pressure from great people and a fair price. My salesman, Jack Riddle, has always been fun to work with. This sale required a dealer exchange from Savannah. Jack made it happen. I know that it was a lot of extra work for the dealership. The Finance Manager that I was assigned, Jim Belle, has got to be one of the best I've ever worked with. I typically dread sitting in a Finance Manager's office. The overpriced things that they usually try to sell you... None of that with Jim. I highly recommend Southtowne Motors.

They do their best to meet your needs and even go beyond that if needed. Our sales person was Stephen Pope. He is a fine young man that has great customer service skills. I spent 2 months looking for a new car before going to Southtowne Motors and getting my new car almost immediately. I told them my situation, single mom, bad credit (because of divorce), 4 kids (so I can't be in a tiny car), budget requirements (can't afford big payments), payoff on my minivan (loved the space but couldn't afford payments or gas), and need for fuel economy. I went at looked at trucks on Wednesday and they didnt have what I was looking for (color/options). They said they would look around for me and find the truck I wanted. The next day they called to tell me they found it had it on the lot for me to come look at. They are very nice no pressure to buy, didnt try to sell me what they had in stock. They had a very large inventory but I was very picky on what I wanted. They listened and found the truck I wanted. I bought the truck and I am very happy. Stephen was very knowledgeable of the stock on hand and was outstanding at communicating back and forth via E-mail. I ordered a Corvette Stingray in mid October and waited 14 weeks for delivery. I can't say enough good things about Southtowne!! I bought a vehicle in October from another dealership down the road from them (Jeep) and it was a horrible experience. I was so depressed after buying it because it wasn't what I wanted, it was way out of the price range I gave the salesman, and I was miserable every time I got in it. It was a huge mistake. Dano Minor and Aaron Austin both worked very hard for me so I could trade that car in and get one (a Terrain) which I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I won't be going back to Jeep, either the dealership or the brand (and I've been driving Jeeps since 1993). Everyone at Southtowne made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I live in East Point but I'll be driving to Newnan to get my service work done at Southtowne. Thank you, Dano and Aaron! You're both men of integrity! I'm really happy with my purchase, I love the car. The experience for buying the car was great. The salesman Brian Heidik did a great job, he was not pushy but instead easy going which made the sales process stress free. During the sale the finance team was able to get a finance rate very close to the rate I received elsewhere so I used their suggested lender and that made things simple. When I purchased the car I was told they would detail it, I also asked if they could clean some battery corrosion that had developed on the car. Upon arriving I found out the corrosion was still there and the car detailing was 'ok' at best, I could have done a better job myself. The excuse not to clean the corrosion was something to roll your eyes over. After the purchase the car seemed to be backfiring, there was a constant popping noise coming from the muffler so I called Brian, he agreed to have his service team look at it. The car also pulled a bit to the left so I asked for the alignment to be checked too. When the car was being checked out and aligned I waited 6 hours. At the end the mechanic said he didn't tweak anything on the engine to stop the backfire, so I'm confused on what took 6 hours. An alignment and a test drive drive does not need to take so long. The car still pulls to the left but perhaps it's due to the tires? Mechanic test drove the car with me to reassure me that he didn't hear any backfiring, but after 6 hours that gesture didn't make up for the wait. In the test drive the backfire or popping from muffler was gone and I was told my jack was loose and that perhaps that was originally making the sound? Certainly didn't sound like that was the issue to me but the noise is gone which is most important. Whatever they did worked. Overall: While I'm satisfied with my experience with SouthTowne it is not one I would rave about due to post sale service. Ultimately Southtowne did sell me a great car and addresses my concerns so I will go to them first for future purchases... they may just need to try a bit harder for the signature.

Adrian Silva is the best! He could answer every question that I had about my new car. I have bought 4 vehicles over the past 15 - 20 years and have never had such a nice experience. I had the most thorough training on all the features of my car that I have ever received. As a matter of fact, the last vehicle I bought, I NEVER received any information from the salesman on how anything worked in the car. Aaron Austin is THE man! Southtowne's mantra is 'your dealer for life'. Aaron will be my car guy for life! My BFF recommended him and also one of my tellers at the bank where I am a manager. When you meet with Aaron, its obvious he has been in the business for a long time. He is very professional and super friendly and knows everything about the new and the used cars. Lyman is the used car manager and he is very knowledgeable and is all about making a great deal. The one thing I heard over and over was their dedication to safety. Not only did I have an amazing Sales experience, I know that I'm getting a vehicle that is perfectly safe and that I can trust to get me where I need to go. We've been buying from Southtowne since 1991 and have bought several autos from Adrian Silva in the last 10 years. Gave Adrian a call Saturday morning to look at SUVs. His office is in the GM Sales Building, but is very knowledgeable on all of their GM and Hyundai vehicles. I am now driving a new Equinox LTZ and love it! I was able to get a great deal on my trade, the Equinox, and financing. We have also always had great service in their GM and Hyundai Service Departments. Besides showing all we requested, the exciting test drive, and the follow-up after sale to switch stuff from old to new, they supplied details for using the driver information center. Dan explained the "M" and I have since tried it. Nice, but I would like to know the suggested ranges for the gears. Now, all I need is the call from one of them when I can go pick up my 2013 tag. As I understand from Scott, the finance guy, it has already been paid for in the deal.

I have never had such a wonderful experience when buying a car. I had went to Kia first and they were not willing to help us so we just stop by to look around. When pulling in the Dan came up to use asking if he could help. My sister went into the story about the horrible experience we had with Kia. He showed us the different SUV and asked which ones we liked. Then sent us on our test drive. Totally Loved the Buick Enclave and we started paperwork. Could not get finally approval last night due to it being so late but they sent us home in the Enclave to return today to finalize the purchase. They are truly the best at customer service in making sure that you leave there happy. I will return when I decide to buy another car.

Stephen Pope and Jason Mader at Southtowne in Newnan Georgia made my internet car searching experience go real smoothly. I always search the Internet when seeking to buy one of my new vehicles. Although I did not purchase my 2013 ZL1 Camaro from them because there were other options that I ended up selecting. They were still professional and very knowledgeable about the unique car I was inquiring about. Any questions via text, email or phone were answered immediately within 5 minutes. If you have tried purchasing a vehicle through the internet without stepping foot on a lot, that reaction can be very trying or painfully slow . Most of the dealerships that I have dealt with that even advertise on car websites, act like you are bothering them even when you are practically giving them all of the information. I can guarantee that the next time I go to purchase my new chevy via the internet, I will definitely start there at Southtowne and not waste so much time. These guys are the best I have come across on the net. Keep up the great work.

I have never had such a pleasant experience at a car dealer. In all honest, I as dreading visiting dealers. I had an excellent experience there. I have never purchased a car so fast; my son has Autism and cannot sit for a long period of time. I was in and out of the finance office in 20 min. Also, I still had my old car and Jack and another guy followed me home in the new car. I thought that was very nice. I recently purchased a GMC Acadia from Southtowne Motors. I conducted all correspondence/negotiation via email, it was the best car buying experience I have ever been involved with. The salesman, Stephen, was professional and friendly, no "let me check with my manager" back and forth. I made an offer and within a day it was accepted. Drove to Newnan to pick up my new car; had a very good on-site experience with Stephen and then with Eric in Finance Dept.Only negative was the time it took to get the "premium all weather floor mats" which were not std on the vehicle. We had to order from GMC thru Southtowne and it took a month to receive....too long! All in all would recommened Southtowne and will go back down the road for any future Chevrolet, GMC, or Buick purchases.

Had our Escalde towed to their service department. It took them 5 days to diagnose the transmission problem. Their commercials promote their dealership for life. And to think this is our first impression of this car dealer. Think twice before you go, there are plenty of car dealers in the greater Atlanta area, unfortunately their location was convenient at the time.
