Spitzer Amherst is always a great dealership to visit. Very friendly without being aggressive. Willing to work with you to get you the best payment/price. Spitzer is a no-haggle dealership so I felt confident that they were giving me the best price they could. I also appreciate the fact that when you walk into the Spitzer dealership they don't attack like vultures waiting for their last meal. This is my second Chevy Malibu, so obviously I am very happy with this car. I am also happy with their customer service and with their service department. My car was in shambles and I had no idea what to do. My prior dealership refused to help me and sent me on my way with a $1,400 qoute to repair my car! I was on verge of lossing my job because of my car. I contacted Spitzer AutoWorld in Amherst, Oh and spoke to the serive manger Scott. I explained my situation and right away he said "we'll take care of you bring the car on in". I was very pleased with the service I received on the phone. While speaking to Scott he refered me to Charity Fiala. Charity suggeted to bring my car in and they will do what ever it takes to fix my car problems! I was also pleased that Charity was eager to get my car repaired and to get me back on the road! I've had several issues for months with my car prior to be going to Spitzer AutoWorld. Within two to three days my car was fixed!! All the repairs were covered underneath my warranty!! I had another issue with my car and Charity worked extremely hard to provide me with a loaner car. With all the repairs Charity kept in touch with me and provided me with updates. My car was repaired all under warranty!!! I would recommend Spitzer AutoWorld in Amherst, Oh to anyone! Everyone was extremely helpful and understanding of my situation with my car. Spitzer AutoWorld even has a car service. They will pick you up and drop you back off. I couldn't be more happier that my car is fixed and everyone worked together to take care of me! Spitzer AutoWorld has gained a new customer for life! Thanks a million guys!!!! I called in and talked to Mel over at Spitzer Chevy when I saw a car they had online. The vehicle had just got there on a trade in. Mel kept me posted as it went through service and detail. He explained the concept of value pricing and how they do business as a company. This was something I realized was really good for the consumer. My current car I have isn't very reliable and I was skeptical about driving it out to their dealership since it was pretty far away. I shared this with Mel and he said that would be no problem, we can come and pick you up. After being picked up and arriving to the dealership, everything that was explained on the phone went exactly like they said. I am really satisfied with my overall experience and I will tell people about my experience.

Emailed Gayle Goodwin Friday morning, told her we needed a used truck for my husband asap. Within minutes, she sent me some great options, which I sent to husband at work. By Saturday afternoon, he was in a used truck that he is very happy with. We live 1/2 an hour away from the dealership and Gayle realizes that we need to have most of the legwork done, so we don't spend hours sitting at the dealership doing paperwork. I came to Amherst Spitzer VW off the suggestion of my brother. He had worked with Spitzer to get his VW Tiguan and they made the experience very easy and quick for a first-time car shopper. I came to Steve Bush to look at the Golf when I wasn't truly in the market to get a vehicle. I told him this upfront, but that did not matter to him. He gave me his full attention and let me drive the TSI and TDI models. (To see the difference between the gas and diesel models.) I never will forget how great of a salesman he was, considering I was not going to get a car soon. Fast-forward to 3 months later and I was in the market for a car. I ended up getting a VW Tiguan, considering the horrible winter Amherst had this year, and I could not be happier. Steve did everything he could to make me happy. I am loving my "new to me" 2009 Volkswagen New Beetle which I bought from Spitzer Volkswagen. I first saw the VW on an internet search and decided to contact Spitzer sales about it. I received a prompt response from Dustin Drake, the internet customer service rep, and he answered my questions about the car. No high pressure to buy the car, just some helpful information. Following the phone call I checked some reviews about the dealership and finding them favorable decided to go take the car for a test drive. That involved a 270 mile trip to get from my home in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Amherst, Ohio. Dustin set up an appointment for me, met me upon my arrival at the dealership and made me feel "right at home". I took the car for a test drive and decided to buy it. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no pressure put on me to buy the car. Dustin just pointed out the features and made sure I was completely satisfied with the car before I made up my mind. The sale was completed efficiently and in a timely manner with the help of the rest of the sales team. I was greeted by several members of the Spitzer team and was treated kindly and courteously. The salesmen are friendly and courteous, but they add items not equipped on vehicle to inflate the book price guide and make promises they cannot keep. In the end I got the runaround until the last minute. The title department took 3 weeks to process the paperwork. The finance man then would not call me back unless I called repeatedly. In the end they left me hanging on my registration.

I went to purchase a used car for my step daughter. From entering the dealership it was a uncomfortable/borderline rude sales staff. The only reason we purchase a car there was for their inventory. After the unfavorable experience and purchase of a used car the salesman did not even shake my hand? Just turned around and walked away. Hate to use names but in this case as a warning the salesmans name was Guy. Please avoid him and his bad mannered personality.

I brought my 2010 mitsubishi lancer from here. That whole process was great. The salemen were stellar. I had to bring the car for repairs and the service department went above and beyond to get the issues fixed. These people are great at what they do. Having just read the recent reviews for Spitzer Volkswagen, I think we win the long distance contest! We have been looking for months for the "play car" we wanted with all the bells and whistles at the right price. We have been searching for a used Mazda Miata MX-5 with the right color and trim package. We called and visited a number of dearlerships and never found the right fit. My husband found a nice little car listed at Spitzer, but they are 7-8 hours away from us and our schedules did not allow an overnight trip. I spoke with Larry Fanta on a number of occasions and he went overboard to send me photos, carfax reports, warranty information and brokered a fabulous deal through Bart and facilitated the paperwork with Mandy. We bought this car sight unseen -- an absolute unheard of thing for us! To make things even more awesome, they delivered the car to our house!! Bob and Gary drove from Ohio to Virginia in a driving snow and then turned around and drove back the same day! As if all that was not enough, the car is as they said a "cream puff". It is beautiful, in great shape and drives like a dream. My only regret is that Spitzer is not here in Virginia! I can't thank everyone at Spitzer enough for making this experience so seamless and easy. I will always recommend Spitzer to friends as an excellent dealership.

Our Sale Consultant Anthony Porter made every effort to handle our new truck purchase in a professional and efficient manner. I think probably without much support from the organization. We did have a nice experience with the Service Writer, he was very pleasant and professional. We had what in my experience is a typical negative dealership parts counter interaction. I do perceive though, that in general, these type of fellows resent having to deal with customers instead of mechanics or other employees. My bottom line is, that I absolutely would not have made a new truck purchase at Spitzer had it not been for Anthony.

I bought a new car at Spitzer Volkswagen this week. It was the best car buying experience that I have ever had. Our sales lady Gayle Goodwin was very knowledgeable about the cars in general, but her knowledge of what she had available on the lot was what allowed me to make my purchase that evening, Once she identified the model I wanted and the equipment that I need on a car, she was able to guide me to three cars that met my criteria. I ended up buying the more expensive of the three because I felt it was the best value. The payment ended up being a little under where I thought I would be, so I was able to shorten the term and pay it off faster. The best part of the buying experience was that Gayle handled everything. She took the loan application, worked with the sales manager and finance guy to get the price and payment down. She did this all behind the scenes while my wife and I relaxed in the showroom. When everything was ready to go we spent les than five minutes in the finance office signing papers and we were on our way home with a new car. The sales manager and finance guys did not play any games. It was all straight forward in a relaxed atmosphere. I hope we can trade in my wife's car soon and buy an other car from Gayle.

came to Spitzer looking at used cars. I spent about 20 min on the lot before anyone came out to talk to me. I told the sales person that it was i was looking for. They did not have the car that i was looking for in my price range. The sales person ( I think that his name as Jake) insisted that i go inside that they have other dealerships that they are able to get cars from. So i go inside sat down as he went out of sight. As i was sitting there I was listening to the other sales persons in a little office talking and goofing around. I was upset with some of the things that i herd. They where referring to customers as "rats" not sure what that means, they where cussing and caring on. That turned me off right away from wanting to buy a car there. I was ready to leave and the sales manager came over and talked to me. His name was James. As i was talking to James I made it clear that i was not buying a car there and i wanted nothing to do with that dealership. He kept pushing me to change my mind and give me reasons that I should buy a car there. He was rude and demeaning. It was the worst dealership i have ever been to.

I purchased a NEW Jetta on May 27th. Within a week, I had to take it to service because some dashboard lights were flashing. Dave, in service, was incredibly professional and understanding. A few days after getting my new car back, it had to go back for the same issue. A few days after getting it back, it went back for the last time. VW decided they needed to autopsy my car to ascertain how to fix the problem on other cars with the same issue. Spitzer was so amazing. They provided me with a loaner car for the entire time my car was in the shop. About a month after turning my car in to Spitzer, VW provided me with a new car, upgraded car. I can not say how thrilled I am with the service I received at Spitzer. Todd,, Scott, Dave, and Steve were all amazing. They did everything in their power to make sure we were taken care of. I felt as though I was treated like a family member! I would recommend Spitzer to everyone and anyone who is looking for a new car! I'm LOVING my NEW Jetta TDI!

My husband and I were looking for a new car to celebrate my graduation from college, after 16 years of hard work, and our 22nd wedding anniversary. He was determined to buy a VW. When we went to the dealership, Steve was so kind and friendly. He wasn't pushy AT ALL. He was very knowledgeable about all the cars sold at Spitzer VW. We took the car for a test drive and I was hooked. Steve and Todd went above and beyond the call of duty to find us a car. I was pretty picky. I wanted a blue one with standard shift. Unfortunately, a blue one wasn't in the cards so I got a black one. After we purchased the car, Steve 'introduced' us to the car buy explaining what the different buttons and signs meant. So, I'm driving my 2014 black Jetta with stick shift all over the place! I just can not express how happy I am with my experience at Spitzer. Steve was awesome, Todd was very professional and Dawn was a HOOT. John Haslage, the mechanic, was very knowledgeable about the cars we works on. My husband asked him a few questions about the motor and John was able to answer every question without hesitation!

Everyone at this dealership is awesome. I didnt feel the normal pressure to buy that typically goes along with dealerships. When I arrived Zach Blazer met me at the door to open it for me and my family. I Had Been An Auto Wholesaler For About 15 Years. At The Time, I Had 15-20 Different Accounts Around Northern Ohio. Spitzer was Not One of My Pervious Accounts.. I Visited Many Different Dealers & Was Not Treated Well At All.. I Spent 3 Months Looking For The Right Car for The Right Money.. The Last Website I Looked At, Was Spitzer Amherst.. They Had a Beautiful, 2013 Malibu LTZ... Then, I Seen The Price... I Was Very Surprised!! They Were Asking At Least $3,000.00 UNDER, What Every Other Dealer Was Asking, For The Same Car!! I first was approached by Mr.Paradise a week or so ago when I stopped to look at a used vehicle. I was looking to trade in my older vehicle to upgrade, but I hadn't a "bigger picture" of what I really was looking for yet. Mr. Paradise was polite, and courteous to me and my family who was there to help me make the correct purchase. He walked me through vehicles based on my preferences and we went with my current jeep. If i had to go back to Bob I would in a heartbeat. I've been to several dealers this past week and most of those people were rude and didn't really want to help me. They also helped me get a larger amount for my trade and matched another amount from another dealer. Everyone I encountered here was extremely polite and wanted to help me. I will be visiting Bob at Amherst Chevy in the future for another vehicle.

I came to this place after a car accident, looking for a used car. I had my eye a 2010 mitsubishi Lancer. Upon walking through the I was greeted within 15 to 20 seconds. I told them what I was looking for and was immediately handed off to Bob Paradise (hope I spelled that right) he was friendly and wasn't pushy he didn't try to sell I car I didn't want or didn't need. He was polite and courteous and fast once I explained that I was pressed for time. He got me rolling with a test drive within a few moments. The next day I came back and dealt with mike blackstock because Bob was out. Mike was polite and fast (time was still an issue) he also never tried to pressure me he did exactly as I asked and made sure I was happy with everything before letting me drive out of there. Good group of people here. I would definitely do business here again

I just purchased a 2013 Fender Special Edition VW Beetle and had a great experience with Spitzer Volkswagen and particularly Daniel Walker. We are from the Columbus area and found that the price at Spitzer was far and away better than what we were seeing at the dealerships here, plus the trade value was a little more than offered by a dealership in Columbus. It was worth the drive! When my husband and I arrived at Spitzer, Daniel was there waiting by the door for us and had the two cars we wanted to look at clean and in the showroom waiting. When we test drove the Beetles I was amazed at how much Daniel knew about the cars. The last salesman we talked to kept saying "I don't know" to many of our questions. Not Daniel. He had the information memorized and could answer everything we asked while we were there. Rick in the finance department was also very easy to deal with and found us a better rate than we had been offered by our credit union. Neither Daniel or Rick pushed and were so easy to work with. I was shopping for a car online and ran across this dealership that had several cars I was interested in. I had been to several dealerships recently and I didn't feel comfortable buying from them. From the moment I was put on the phone with Daniel Walker, a salesmen at Spitzer Volkswagon, he made me feel at ease in helping me find a car. He took my basic info and spend 20 minuets telling me about the cars I was interested in and offered similar suggestions without being the typical "pushy salesman". He was genuinely interested in helping me find the car I wanted in my price range. I drove to the dealership and was immediately made at home by him and the sales team at the facility. I ended up purchasing the car I wanted at the price i wanted and the whole ordeal was so friendly and informative that by the time I left, I didn't even feel like I just went through the whole buying a car ordeal. I can honestly say that not only was the experience not a hassle, but was actually enjoyable. To put the cherry on top, I had made a mistake and had not brought some necessary information needed to purchase the car. Daniel had me fill out all the purchasing information and had the car HAND DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE THE FOLLOWING DAY. Bare in mind I live over an hour away from the dealership. To summarize I had a hassle free, enjoyable experience from a knowledgeable staff that put me in the exact car I wanted for the price I wanted. Daniel Walker is an exceptional salesman that won't pressure you into a car you don't want and actually cares about his clients. My wife has enjoyed her Passat GLS we purchased new back in 2004, so we stopped at Spitzer VW last Fall to look at a new Passat TDI. Our salesman, SCOTT KUZMAN, was patient, gracious and accommodating. Ultimately, as good as the new Passat is my wife got sentimental about giving up her old car at that time. Months went by and my BMW was edging close to 90,000 miles, so it became my turn to shop for a replacement. We test drove vehicles at a couple other dealerships but none were as pleasant as our experience with Scott at Spitzer VW. While perusing the Internet I spied a closeout 2013 GTI that looked intriguing, so we stopped to talk to Scott once more. Long story short the car is a blast to drive, Scott was his usual down to Earth nice guy self and the deal was exactly what I expected. So now I drive a very cool GTI and couldn't be happier. The overall atmosphere at Spitzer is warm, friendly and the service manager (another Scott) can't do enough for you. I've bought many cars over the years and based on our experience I would recommend SCOTT KUZMAN and Spitzer Volkswagon to anyone considering buying a new car.

My experience with this dealer was incredible. They gave me access to their purchase orders and helped me understand their costs in supply so I knew exactly the kind of deal I was getting, then had complete knowledge of the car they were selling me. They also gave me options on new, certified, and used immediately, guaranteeing that I would know exactly what was available to me. In addition, their sales associate Michael Blackstock made it a point to make my interests and needs his priority, as opposed to his sales needs. My husband and I were thinking about purchasing a 2014 GMC Terrain in Erie PA. However, we went on line and discovered a 2013 GMC Terrain fully loaded (leather, rearveiw camara, moonroof, etc) one owner and only 25,000 miles with all the warranties intact for an incredible price. I was looking online for a new car because my current car was a total loss and Spitzer's website was very easy to use. I narrowed my search down and found a few cars I liked. The only one left on the lot was a 2008 Chevy Cobalt Sedan. I test drove it with some friends and my mom the next day and it drove great. Friends had nothing negative to say about the car and suggested I should go home with it. Guy Rodgers was an enormous help with getting the car exactly how I wanted and what needed to be fixed before I drove it home. Adam in sales also worked with me and how much the insurance company had given me. Spitzer treated me extremely nicely and Guy was very patient as I was waiting to get car insurance before I left the lot. They were so awesome to me, gave my mom and I some hot tea for the cold weather, and made our experience very enjoyable. Friends and family will definitely recommend and think of this place for their next car!!

So that's no haggling both ways BUT the car was already priced well below it's KBB value. Guy Rodgers (sales) gave us all the history and record of all maintenance. Nobody called me honey/baby/sweetie which leads me to think this is a very woman-friendly dealership. We were already pre-approved (simple 3 minute application over the phone) and were in and out with our Honda CRV. I will certainly check back when I'm ready to replace my other car.

Bought a VW beetle convertible last night 9/26/2013. I had been putting off buying a car beacuse I did not want to deal with the hassle and frustration with shady, slimy car salesmen. I have been to other VW dealers and have had terrible customer service experiences. Steve Bush was excellent, very friendly and professional. He's pretty funny, too. I made an online inquiry and Steve called me back promply. When I arrived at the dealer, the car I inquired about was ready and out front. The finance department was awesome and accomodating to my situation, too. Everyone stayed after close to complete my paperwork so I did not have to come back another day. Bruce buffed my new car by hand, gave me an overview and sent me on my way. I highly reccomend. Worth the trip to Amherst for sure!

I have bought 3 cars from them over the yrs. Each time in doing so they always got me the best pricing and beat other dealerships pricing as well. There have been times I have had no appointment for the service dept and they always worked me in and took care of my issue and if didn't have parts they had me in a rental. The staff has always asked while I wait on my car to get oil change if they can get me anything and always willing If they don't have what I ask to run and get it for me. Came to Spitzer to purchase a 2013 Impala and received exactly what I wanted in a very straight-forward, honest manner. Everyone at the dealership was nice throughout and didn't pressure at all. Considering the research that went into the process, I was set on the decision that I wanted to make, and they respected everything I said and did throughout despite my somewhat demanding and stubborn ways. To give you an idea, I actually passed up vehicle at 3 other dealers for less money simply because I didn't trust the way they were acting. I'm very comfortable with my purchase and glad I went to Spitzer!

I started my search online for a car and was working with a Ford dealership and Spitzer Chevy. I initially was corresponding via email to have my basic wants/needs corresponded to the dealers. Ford was disappointing since they appeared to only want to lease me a new vehicle. Via email Spitzer advised me of who I could talk to and told me that person would meet me at the dealership. Upon arrival at Spitzer I was warmly greeted and Angelo was introduced as my sales rep. Angelo was extremely easy going and listened to what I was interested in and worked really hard to find me a car that I would be happy with. There was no pressure to buy and the teams overall impression to me was that they only wanted me to be happy. This was the easiest car purchase I have ever experienced. I visited Spitzer of Amherst and I came with financing from an outside lender. The sales associate Adam was aware of my outside financing and had a VW Passat 2008 already picked out for me to test drive. The car met all the requirements of my outside finance company and they still tried to find me other finance companies. After all this they wanted me to put down a 1,000+ down payment on an 8900 car when my loan approval qualified me for a 14,000 vehicle with a 600 down payment . They began to tell me how they pay 2500 to process the transaction and they'd call me back the next day. Next day I call my finance company and I got clarification that the car matched all requirements and they even estimated my monthly car note. Through further investigation I discover that they increased the price by 1000 from the marketed price online on top of them trying to add an extra 400 to my down payment price. I spoke to Tom the finance guy and he was very nasty, very unprofessional, very argumentative and even hung up on me. Do not go here, there are many willing humble car dealerships willing to help you.

The car is great and is totally appropriate for my needs, and I'm delighted to have a warranty to cover the car for an extended period. I found this car on the net and it was a great deal. I called and discussed the car with a salesman. He assured me it was ready to drive off the lot. I made a deposit and drove 4.5 hours to buy the car. When I test drove the car I was shocked at the issues the car had. It made a terribly loud noise that correlated with the speed of the car (typical of a bad cv or bent rim). The told me it was snow tires that needed rotation, but when inspecting the wheel where the noise came from I found serious impact damage. The car also had a cockeyed steering wheel, a hard pull to the left and a serious fuel leak. They assured me the car was not in an accident but the repair papers were in the car. This car was not safe for me to drive home and put my kids in, and it is unacceptable that a dealership would put it on the lot like this.

They treated me nicely up until I put a non-refundable deposit down. Then everything went out the window. After the deposit, they attempted to significantly change the terms of the contract and hastily get me to re-sign without noticing. Per usual, they will also make you sign an "absolutely nothing promised" agreement. I could not recommend or purchase from this dealer again with any confidence.

My wife and I just had our first born and wanted a vehicle that had more room. We started looking for Jetta Sportwagens online and found the one for the right price at Spitzer VW in Amherst. I live 70 miles from the dealer and wanted to have all the numbers figured out before I made the trip up. The trade in amount and numbers for the financing was what we were trying to agree on. Once we came to an agreement on everything, I scheduled an appointment to look at the car and bring it home. The total time spent at the dealer was an hour. Daniel Walker was my salesman, and I was very pleased with how he treated/handled the experience. I would recommend this dealership and sales person to anyone.

Our sales contact at this location (Daniel Walker) was completely prepared for our test drive of a used car we were interested in, which was very appreciated seeing as we were coming in from Detroit. He took the time to call and confirm the appointment to ensure we would be ready for us when we arrived. Upon arrival he provided us with a copy of the service history and carfax information. While we did not purchase the car in the end, I definitely feel dealing with this particular sales consultant (should you head to this location) is highly recommended. He has great recommendations and knows the cars he is selling well.

There were also other salesman that were very friendly too. The car was exactly as described on the internet. They also did a great job of assisiting me with financing. I bought a 2011 Chevy Impala LT Sedan from the dealer with 38,000 miles. I owned it for a week and was not happy with it for various reasons. I told Tom Bowen and saleslady Amanda about my problems and they immediately took care of everything. The dealership bought my car back at full price I paid for it. They allowed a trade in towards a brand new 2012 Chevy Impala LT Sedan. I got a real good price deal with the employee pricing deal going on. I am very happy with everything. This is my first Chevrolet car. I love it. Spitzers Amherst is a excellant place to do business with.

I had found car with spitzer online....we had went over figures and price....it was suppose to be a done deal...I live 260 miles away but went down night before so i could be at dealership when opened....Should of basically just been signing papers and leaving...When i get there nobody knows what the other has done or said...they raised price and changed the figures and expected me just to go with it...The finance manager was a complete jerk and i dont see how they ever sale a car if hes there...So I put 600 miles on my car, wasted money, and used a whole vacation day from work for nothing. AWFUL experience. And nobody seemed to be very sorry that i was upset...You might be a big dealership but pretty sure none of you own it!! So id say you need to keep customers happy if you wanna keep your jobs.

My husband and I came in looking for a lease on a new car. We worked with Seth from the VW dealership, and the hero of the day, Chris Johnson. Seth was very patient with us while we chose a car, and was pleasant to take along for the test drive! We fell in love with the Chevy Cruze, and CJ really made the magic of the numbers happen. Bottom line: we got a great product at an excellent price, and the transaction was even smoother that I could even imagine! We never felt any pressure, which was the first time EVER while buying a new car (and we've been to many places)!We look forward to doing business again, and may even take our other car in for a trade, which would be for the sheer pleasure of doing business with these guys again. Had a wonderful experience at Chevy Spitzer Amherst! I walked by just to see the appearance of a Chevy Sonic... Low and behold out comes Gayle Goodwin who spoke to me and really took time to hear me out. Grabbed my hubby and we went inside to see if we could make a deal. Gayle went above and beyond to try and make it work for us. That night we didn't get it together, however we went back 2 days later and were able to get a great deal. All of the team at Spitzer Chevy helped make us a winning deal and reverse a negative situation we were in. Can't say enough positive things! :-)

Spitzer Amherst was the first dealership I went to visit when I decided to start looking for a new vehicle. Gayle Goodwin was the sales associate that was available to help me. Since I was still in the beginning of my vehicle search I didn't make any decisions on that first visit. After visiting a couple other dealerships I decided to go back to Spitzer because of the friendly, genuine, and down to earth customer service I received from Gayle on my previous visit. I was also looking for a small compact car with great gas mileage that I knew Chevy would be able to deliver. My wife and I had been shopping around for a new car for her for the past couple of months being that her lease on her Honda Accord was up in June. We live on the Amherst/Lorain border, so we drive by Spitzer Chevy quite often... in the past we heard some not so nice things about this dealer so we were hesitant to stop...we were so glad we did. Our experiences in the past have not been pleasant with dealers and sales people in general but that was completely turned around at Spitzer Chevy in Amherst. Stella Adams was the employee we worked with and all we have are great things to say about her and the finance group that helped us with our lease. Stella was friendly, professional and really showed she cared about us and about trying to get us into a great car that met our budget. We can honestly say that we have never had an experience like this with any other dealer ever. We thought our last experience 3 years ago at Jack Matia Honda was a good one, but this one by far topped it. Stella really went out of her way to help us and to answer any questions or concerns we had. I have and will refer her to as many people as I possibly can. My wife ended up leasing a 2013 Malibu and is completely in love with it... we've received compliments at local businesses from people we dont even know. I tell them to go to Spitzer Chevrolet in Amherst to check them out and ask for Stella. Thank you again for all of your help Stella! You were great!!!

We started our search for a replacement truck online narrowing it down to a selct few then started making inquiries by email. Stella gave me call but I was unable to take it at the time and didn't catch her name. When I called back everybody knew who I was asking for when I said a nice lady had returned my call and I was following up. After several emails working a possible deal my wife and I decided to make the 5 hour trip to Spitzer's to check the truck out and see if we could make a deal. The truck was more than we expected, Stella was extremely curtious and friendly making us comfortable to make a deal so far from home. Jimmy and Chris reviewed our trade, they helped us make a deal and leave with a great truck. Unfortunately when the last cleanup of the truck was done some minor damage was done to the paint that they quickly resolved and I thank them for that. All said and done we had a great experience and I would recommend asking for Stella when you visit.

My wife and I vowed never to enter into another Spitzer dealership after we were treated so badly at a store located on Brookpark Rd 15+ years ago. We couldn't resist visiting the Amherst store with a large inventory to pick from and some great looking used vehicles curbside. We were greeted with enthusiasm and professionalism that I haven't encountered before in any dealership. I was very happy with the deal we got on the vehicle and impressed with the whole purchasing process. Obviously, this dealership is here to stay with what looks to be a very substantial renivation and I plan on being back again soon. What a great experience! I took my mother to find a new car and wow what service. My mother walks with a cane and can't bend her left let so just getting around is a chore. Trying to get into a new car is even tougher. The general manager Chris Johnson asked our sales lady Stella to pull 3 cars into the service bay so that we would not have to walk the lot or be out in the cool weather. Based on how those 3 cars worked for her they even ran next door to the Volkswagen store and drove in 2 VWs for her to try. The best fit for her was a used Buick that was in immaculate condition. She bought the car and felt like a VIP with the special treatment, THANKS!

The level of customer care experienced at Spitzer Chevrolet - Amherst's Service Department was second to none. This dealership clearly has the concept of the "customer experience" nailed. Everyone I interacted with went out of their way to be sure that I was taken care of and felt comfortable and at ease. It is too bad that all dealerships don't have the focus on customer service and the "customer experience" that Amherst - Chevrolet clearly has.

I knew Tom from a previous car sale and hoped he was on the floor when I went in to the dealership. He listened politely to my needs, didn't pressure me into buying more than what I wanted, and introduced me to Amanda since he needed to leave for an appointment. Tom got the paper work started and Amanda finished the sale? I recently went into the dealership with an insurance issue and it was taken care of. Both the manager and Amanda went above and beyond in customer service. I am treated with respect by all who work at Spitzer Amherst, from Dave in service to Tom and Amanda in sales. Even the general manager and finance people know me as a repeat customer and greet me when I am at the dealership. This type of team work which respects the customer and responds to questions honestly has earned my customer loyalty.

Had a noise in the front end. my equinox has 90k miles and I thought the worst. The guys checked out the issue. Verified the cause and didn't try to get more business , just what I needed to get done. Took care of it for me right then. I am thrilled with Fair service people like Spitzer service and would reccomend the service center to anyone. I have had similar Great experiences in the past with Amherst Spitzer service and remember making the comment then " I want to buy more cars from Spitzer just so I can have them serviced there in Amherst, becasue I felt so good about the treatment"

We went to several dealerships before buying at Spitzer. I was really not impressed with any of them. Amanda did not pressure me at all. She listened to what we were interested in and helped by asking some general questions. We felt comfortable talking with her. We are happy with our purchase, it feels great to have a new car that we can trust. I must admit we were a little overwelmed with all the electronics. I just don't understand having a car that is smarter than I am, but I'm getting use to it.

I was shopping for a new Corvette on the internet...found one I was interested in... requested a quote by email...Drove to the dealer...met with Steve...gota great deal and drove home with a new 2008 Corvette Coupe. He took me on a tour of the Service Dept and described the major functionalities of the car. Start to finish....6 Hours. Everyone was very friendly and courtious. Would definately shop this dealer again even though there are closer Chevy dealers.I believe they are the Largest Corvette Dealer in Ohio.
