Although I came into the service department for the annual inspection and emissions test. I did not know I would be driving away the next day with a brand new vehicle. My great service manager Victoria, broke the news to me, very easily, that my car needed a lot of work to pass inspections, more money than my 2007 RAV4 was worth. She told me she had someone that could assist me in getting in the right vehicle, and Dan "the man" Murray Sir. He walked me all over the lots looking at used and new RAV4 on the lot. We went in and ran some numbers. Buying a used vehicle did not make since, for the year of the vehicle and the payments. Next was buying a new vehicle. That was not going to happen either. Money was just to tight to make either work, nothing that Dan "the man" Sir Murray was able to do, would allow me (us) could afford. The next option to do would be to lease a vehicle and that fit our budget. Dan the Man Sir, never gave up on the process and was just as pleasant to me as when I first met him. Thank You, Dan "the man" Sir Murray.

Doug was awesome! Very personable and really showed he cared about my situation and wanting to help. The team went above and beyond to make sure my experience was excellent, and that's exactly what i tell people who ask me about my new car. I could not have had a better experience in buying a new vehicle! Many thanks to Doug and the team!

Went to test drive and negotiate to purchase a 2012 RAV4. No negotiation by the salesman and as I was driving out of the dealer lot, a sales mgr. was backing a customer car out of a parking space (for trade in evaluation) and struck my car, damaging the passenger side fender, the front light, flattening the tire and the passenger side door isn't able to be opened. They said I had to use my insurance and offered to replace the flattened tire. The store manager had the nerve to say that the customer's car who he was driving would be responsible under their insurance and my car wasn't worth filing a claim for. Unbelievable and unprofessional staff. Lawsuit material.

Sales associate, Dan Murray, is a very nice guy and was very helpful during this experience. He was knowledgeable and patient with my father and I. After my purchase, he had no problem going over the details of my new vehicle with me; especially since I am not current with all the modern technology!! This was definitely a positive experience for me!! Dan is a great asset to your company!! Thank you again!!

Dan has been helping me to reach the peak of happiness I have most recently reached by doing NOTHING but keeping my best interest #1 at all times. There was no "pushiness". No trying to get me into something over my range. He was beyond accommodating and kept communication wide open the entire time. It was a hard road to get what I needed in my situation, and his patience and guidance will be FOREVER appreciated . I am currently down a positive, progressive & smart oath to help my credit along with being and feeling safe. There aren't enough thank you's to express how grateful I am for all his hard work and help. He literally never stopped until we figured out what was just right for me. & I know it wasn't easy. You're making a mistake if you go anywhere else .

I really liked being able to pull the car right into the service bay and leave it with the technicians while I took care of the paperwork. The people in the service bay and the people at the desk made it all easy for me. I went into the waiting room where I could make use of the WiFi that passed the time quickly. Best of all, everyone was friendly and helpful.

The Spitzer Sales team is unique in that they work as a team rather than individual Sales Staff. Each person treats the customer as an individual and makes the customer feel like their needs and desires are being individually addressed. The drawback to their "up-front" pricing model is that there is very little room for any form of give-and-take exchange when you actually sit down to work out a deal. You have to push very hard (or be extremely blunt in your refusal to accept their firm stance) in order to get anywhere respectable in the negotiations.

Everyone was wonderful! Jeff Posey, my salesperson, had a very kind, authentic disposition that really eased my first-time-leasing anxiety and made my experience memorable. Steve Allen was also great to work with! Mr. Allen helped me get a better insurance rate and really worked hard to get my monthly payments where I needed them to be. Before coming to Spitzer, I had searched for over a month at numerous lots and dealerships. I'm glad I held out and made it to Spitzer :) ...and I've been telling everyone who will listen about my experience.

According to me the sales people are fine but some other personnel who are available via chat/email...not so much! Rude and not very clear on the emails. Erica quote a price on an email and then went on to change it with no explanation after I checked out the car in person.I had an offer from another dealer ...much lesser and she wanted to see it. Ofcourse I cropped the image because I dont want her to screw my other dealer's offer and she came back with questions on the authenticity of the document I sent!!! That's just mind blowing! The in-store sales person was much much better to deal with. I am taking my business elsewhere...

I was very close to buying a vehicle from this dealership, but I ended up going somewhere else in the end. When I was gathering information and prices, I worked with the internet salesperson, Erika. I emailed a lot of dealers, and she was hands down the fastest person to reply to emails. I met with her regarding a vehicle and she was friendly in person. Though she was fast to reply, the emails were not always very clear compared to other dealers that I worked with. In addition, when given a price quote she combined two rebates which I knew in advance could not be combined and I had to correct her about this. Overall, though, Erika was good to work with. For budget reasons, I ended up having to switch trim levels. I called and spoke with Jared on the phone (Erika was off that day) to see if Spitzer would be able to price match another dealer. They didn't exactly match the price - they were still $250 more than the other dealer... which is basically what it would cost the other dealer to do a dealer trade. Of course, Spitzer had the color we wanted and refused to do a dealer trade with the other dealer - because I was "their" customer. While I was obviously not pleased, I can understand their rationale. So, we went out there to drive the vehicle. It was missing the antenna (???) and when I mentioned this the salesperson (Sam - Jared was busy with another customer) just took one off of another vehicle. We went on a test drive and I would like to compliment Sam for not talking during the test drive. So many times people talk your ear off and it was nice to just concentrate on driving the vehicle. Then, we went inside to discuss the price. We had done some research on the vehicle via TrueCar, but the price I was given over the phone was less than the TrueCar price. They identified us as "TrueCar Customers" and I reiterated that I wanted the price that was given over the phone. Finally, they came back with the phone price.... but, lo and behold, there was a never-before-discussed $199 VIN etching that was put onto the paperwork. I was told by the sales manager Steve 'they do this with all their vehicles.' Interesting, because when Erika gave me a price quote on a different vehicle she didn't include that (which I appreciate! thank you!) I asked him to take it off and he did. By the way, did you know you can buy a VIN etching kit online for $25!? Yep.Though we really wanted the car, we ended up walking out. Partly it was because we were not eligible for a rebate that we thought we would be eligible for - which is not Spitzer's fault - but partly it was because we weren't having the best experience. On my way out, I said 'have a good one' to Sam, who was hanging out with the other salespeople at a desk. No one tried to stop or attempt to fix the situation. To his credit, he did send us an email about 20 minutes later saying he would call on Monday to see if anything could be done about the rebate. We never heard back. We did speak briefly with the finance manager Ralph before leaving. He was courteous and answered all of our questions, despite the fact that we weren't going to complete the deal. I appreciate that. In summary, while there were some positive aspects to this dealership, there is certainly room for improvement.

I was shopping for a new vehicle and had online quotes from this store and another place. I had actually been here 5 years ago when I ended up buying a Honda, but had been treated so well by the salesperson that I decided to give them another chance. My salesperson was originally Jared, who answered all my questions, took me on a test drive, let me drive, and answered more of my questions.I was armed with facts, figures and 2 trade-ins. The sales manager worked with him and located a few vehicles that might suit me, due to the scarcity of Highlander models everywhere. Thanks to a buying service, their prices were very competitive, the sales team, knowledgeable, so I decided to buy from them. Took most of the week to get my additional equipment installed and the vehicle ready. Picked it up from Dan, who was very friendly and was filling in for Jared, who was sick that day. Dan did his best to make sure I was satisfied as did their Sales Manager and their Finance Manager. whose name was Ralph. A complicated deal due to the logistics of getting 2 trades to the place and only being able to drive one at a time. I am VERY PLEASED with my purchase and the ability of the dealership to handle all of the details. These folks did an Excellent job! Toyota should be mighty glad these folks represent their brand and are willing to put in the time and training to sell it.

1 star is generous. They came out and told me the prices that I'd be paying for parts, including light bulbs and rear rotors, totaling $360. I had assumed that the rate for labor would be reasonable since I was there for less than an hour. It only took them about a half hour to replace the parts. I was charged over $300 for labor. As the cashier explained it, they charge a flat fee for each job: $105 for the rotors, around $105 for the inspection and $105 for them to change some LIGHT BULBS. They weren't changing the high beams or anything; it was just a parking light and the two license plate lights. I feel pretty confident I could have figured those out myself. I had assumed that it would be a reasonable rate and that the lightbulbs wouldn't take more than a few minutes, so I let them do it. In the end I was hit with over $650. Next time I will take it to a smaller, more local mechanic. DON'T GO HERE.

It's was my first time at the dealership and I got the best salesman ever, Ryan. He took the time to understand my needs as well as educated me on the Toyota products. He provided a pleasant experience for me and my family. I hope his manager Jamie Besom realizes that Ryan is the best on the floor. Jamie also helped with me purchasing from Toyota buy providing a transparent buying experience with a smile. The final person that I got the pleasure to deal with was the Finance MGR Band-Aide Ben. Super nice guy to do all the paperwork with and he was able to help with the pricing on my warranties and paint protection. They all made me feel like I just joined a family there at Spitzer. Lastly, Ryan walked me through the dealership and explained how and where everything was and the procedures for service. Great Job guys and keep being consistent.

The lack of drama that came with this experience was refreshing. I didn't have to haggle over the price of the vehicle (it was priced exactly between clean retail and clean trade-in). The sales representative, Gary, greeted me before I even walked in the door and at no point tried to force a sale. The "Finance Guy," Ben, found me the best deal that matched my payment options and found me the best APR with my sub-par credit. I was already a huge fan of Toyotas, just based on their reliability, affordability, and the fact that any mechanic can fix a problem cheaply and effectively should one occur. Now, I am a fan of Spitzer Toyota (specifically in Monroeville) and they have gotten a customer for life, regardless of where I happen to be living at the time.

The worst experience ever. They held me captive for 4 hrs to convert a lease to buying the vehicle - DESPITE having an appointment and showing up 20 minutes early. At first, I was told there was a mandatory safety check on the vehicle because it belongs to Toyota. Salesman said they would wash and vacuum the car and fill it with gas as part of that process. Later, he tells me it costs me $300 for the safety inspection - had I known this I would have refused. I've been driving the vehicle all this time AND it gets inspected by the state every year, why do they need to inspect separately? When they were all done, they had not washed the car or put gas in it. When I asked, they did take it and wash it - vacuumed front only and told me they could not put gas in because it is my car. (keep in mind, that they had to do a safety inspection because it was Toyota's car...how convenient for them). Now, 4 days later they called and said they had made a mistake on the paperwork and I have to go back to sign it all again. It's 45 minutes from my house...sure I'll run right over guys.

We were first-time car buyers and this dealer was our first stop. We were looking for a certified pre-owned Prius. It was a terrible experience and almost made us give up on buying a car as soon as we started our car search. We first dealt with Jared, who was fine, but this review will focus on the second person that spoke with us, Adam Drakulic (Sales Manager). Right after greeting us, he pointed out something wrong that his colleague did, which we thought was very unprofessional. Also, the manner in which he spoke to us was very condescending and rude. Instead of giving us any kind of counter-offer to our initial offer, he simply told us we should look for an older model. His attitude made us want to leave the dealership immediately. After going to several other dealers after that, we found a dealer that not only treated us with respect, but also met our offer for the same car (same make, same year, same mileage, same options).

My salesman, Gene, and I got in touch while I was still stationed overseas. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer every question I threw at him. I was also very impressed with his punctuality in maintaining all time-frames that he told me he would meet. After him and I narrowed down exactly what I wanted over the phone he submitted my special order for the truck and it arrived literally exactly the day the he told me that it would. Overall, I was more than impressed with his personal attention to my needs but his attention to detail throughout the entire process.

I was there last Tuesday to test drive a Honda Pilot. I ended up liking the vehicle and wanting to purchase it. My credit score is not good, recently having gone through a divorce and my application was put on hold until the following day when the financial director was available. I called the next afternoon and spoke with a Ralph who stated they were busy and he was hoping to get to my application later in the day. He was going to call and let me know the status of my application which he never did. Thursday, the same exact thing. I also was without a vehicle due to an automobile crash the previous week. Friday, Jarrod, the sales person called to say he was checking with finance to see what was going on. At this point Jim Basilone was working on an approval from Toyota and asked if there was a Toyota I was interested in, stating it would be easier to finance if it was a Toyota vehicle. There was not a Toyota in my price range that I was interested in. Friday went by without knowing either way if I was getting the Pilot. Saturday I foolishly call Jim again and he states he was waiting for the supervisor from Toyota to give the okay to approve me. However he did tell me the Pilot was no longer available. At this point I am mad. I speak with Jarrod who says he was unaware the Pilot sold but was busy of course so he would look into it and get back to me. I called toward the end if the day and spoke with Jim who said we are looking into a vehicle for you and would get back to me within an hour which never happened. I wasted five days with this dealership being led on that they were trying to help me when in fact they were blowing me off the entire time. If I couldn't get financed they should have let me know. The experience was completely unprofessional. I would never go back here and I certainly would not recommend to anyone to buy a vehicle from them. I am happily driving an Acura from Baierl at this point in time.

At the time of service, they told me to change Rotor and brakes and its not covered under warranty. They quote me $473. I said NO and they asked me to pay inspection fee $54 which is ridicules. They have not done any work. Whats use of warranty if u even have to pay for inspection.I raised my concern to service manager but same response.I will never return to this Toyota service center. The entire story is below but to summarize: Spitzer Toyota, Murrysville PA, replaced a battery that was fine. When we caught them by insisting they give us the old battery they refused to refund the money. The service manager said it was fine if we took our business elsewhere. We had purchased two vehicles from this dealer. We dropped our 2008 Toyota Tacoma at Spitzer Toyota, Monroeville, for service on June 24, 2014. The battery light on the dashboard was lit. Since the battery in the truck was less than a year old we did not believe the battery was the problem. The battery had been purchased at Advance Auto Parts August 2, 2013. The dealer called and told us that the battery was leaking and had to be replaced. A short time later Spitzer called again and stated that the alternator needed replaced as well. They were given the ok to do the job. It took them three days to finish. The bill for everything was $799.60 of which $144 was for the replacement of the battery. We did tell Spitzer that we wanted the old battery back so that we could return it to Advance Auto Parts. Of course when we picked up the truck they did not have the battery and had to get it back. I suppose they thought we would forget but instead we insisted and had to call back and make a special trip out to the dealer to pick it up. As we suspected there was nothing wrong with the battery. We took it to advance auto parts who ran the test on the battery and it was fine. The gentleman who tested the battery just said, They took you for a battery. We called the service manager at Spitzer and asked him to refund us the $144 that was spent erroneously on an unneeded new battery (who knows if the truck even needed a new alternator). His solution was for us to make another trip out to the dealer to have the old battery put back in the truck. We rejected that solution and told the service manager that we would no longer be doing business with Spitzer and cancelled a service appointment for a Prius that we had purchased from them in January. His response was Ok thats fine. Now of course we are questioning all of our dealings with this dealership. I would recommend anyone who does any business with them to be aware they are obviously not above fraudulent activities. We unfortunately had purchased two cars from them.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I had been discussing a lease payment on a Tacoma through email with their internet salesperson. She got a quote from the 'manager' on 220/month with 2995 down on a 36K msrp vehicle. Yes I know that sounds outrageous so I continuously asked her if this was correct and she assured me that it was. So I make arrangements to go down there during my lunch break and I meet 'Steve', the manager. He hands me off to a clueless salesperson who had no idea about the interaction I had with the internet salesperson. After I explained to him 3 or 4 times of my situation, they put together a totally new quote and come back with $644/month on a lease. So they were off about $400/month....what a ridiculous dealership they have, can't believe the remain in business. I am local an was giving Spitzer a shot even after I have never heard one good thing about them. Well guess what, every person I know will hear about this and I'll never recommend those incompetent idiots. Of and I get no response from the internet salesperson as to how she could be that far off. I also filed a complaint with Toyota corporate.

I have a 2010 Camry LE lease and I wanted to buy it out thru your dealer on 1/17/13. Jim Engler told me that if I go thru the dealer I need to pay an additional $200 fee and he said he doesnt exactly know what the fee is for, and he said some is for the state emissions and some for the safety inspection etc. I agreed to pay the fee. He said since the lease car is currently registered under my and my wifes name, my wife needed to be present as well. I told him they can go thru their inspection and I would come back with my wife after 5-6 pm. I left and I called him back again around 10 AM. I told him the car is also due an inspection and wanted to make sure that $200 covers it, he said he doesnt know what part is for state and let me know. Later in the day around 3.00 PM, Jennine from Service called me and she said they would charge another $95 for the inspection, I told her not to do it because I could get it much cheaper elsewhere. Around 5:30 PM, I came back with my wife, Jim was busy and he asked Pat Laughlin to talk to us. Pat was an allaround nice guy and I dont really have much to complain about him. I asked him what the $200 is, he said the dealer needs to make sure that the car is safe and also the paperwork. I said OK. We also told him that we have a 4 week old son at home and is there any way we can send my wife faster, he said she needed to be there. Then came their finance manager, Jim again I guess with APRs and else. He first came with 3.99% for 5 years I disagreed and he came up with 2.99% for 3 years and my credit score is 810. I told him I dont like the rates, then all of a sudden we were taken to service to pay $200 and buy the car elsewhere. Apparently, $200 was nothing to do with Toyota it was for dealer only. The nice guy Jim Engler who doesnt know what $200 was for told me that I did not need to pay anything if I got my own loan and purchased from Toyota, but since they so called inspected the car, I needed the pay the $200, he went back to sales from service and disappeared for 15-20 mins without saying anything. Then my wife and I went back to the sales and told him 2.99% - 3 years is fine, we dont want to wait any more. Lets get done with this thing. After another long wait, their finance manager got available and he said that my wife did not need to be there after all, and I need to sign the paperwork. I also told him I want to know what service was done for the $200 and he would not know and wanted me to go check with service, all of them were gone so no receipt for whatever was done in the car. I also asked this guy about the $200 he said it is thru Toyota, and if I buy it there or anywhere else, Toyota asks customers to have the car safety inspected before it is sold. I also paid an additional $131 for document fee. I thought it was included in the $200, three different answers from the three guys!! So somehow these guys managed to rip me off. Around 8 PM, I went out to see poor Pat trying to change my plate, I told him why cant I keep my own special plate, he said it has to be done, Toyota requires it. They did not tell me anything about it, I have registration until Nov 2013, why would I repay it!. Because apparently finance manager took the registration from both of us and transferred it to me. Now I will have to change it back again. He could not take the old plate out, and now the screw is worn off, I cant take it out either, pfff. Further, I told him, I am paying $15K for a car and they just cant wash it let alone put gas in it. I came home called Toyota Financial, called Toyota Motors to find out there is no fee for so called service inspection, they dont know about changing the plate either. All I know is one of my buddies got a 2010 Accord thru another dealer, got 2.4% for 5 years, life time free state inspections, and kept his old plate. All and all, this was by far the worst customer service experience in my life. The worst part is they kept my wife three hours for absolutely nothing while our infant son is at home with his grandma. They need to educate their staff on what their fees are for, or they need someone be there present or not to sign the paperwork.Another note, I bought the car from Michigan and these guys were the sole dealer servicing it for the last three years since I moved to area, why would they try to rip off an existing loyal customer? Also with the fact that I brought my friends to buy cars from them and one recently did. I cant find words to describe my feelings.

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Kelly during the purchase on my 2012 Toyota Camry. Not only did she make the finance experience easy, she showed a genuine care for her dealership, product, and my overall satisfaction with my buying experience. She had a way about her that made me feel completely comfortable in buying from Spitzer Toyota. I will greatly look forward to dealing with Kelly in the future and would gladly tell friends and family of the buying experience I had. It is very refreshing to meet someone in the automobile industry that is genuine, honest, and caring. Thank you again for going over and above what I expected. It was a pleasure meeting and doing business with Kelly.

Saw 2010 Toyota Venza online. Contacted dealership. Discussed numbers and was advised that the numbers could be reached. Was told vehicle was in detail and when it came out of detail I would be the first contacted. Two days passed and no call. Contacted dealership and car was sold. Was willing to drive two hours to make the purchase on Monday after weekend because of work. Dealership has lost a sale and future buying customer.

We were on our last leg with our old Prizm and had pretty much given up hope on finding something safe, affordable and reliable to suit our needs. We worked with Kelly and Ben. Ben was a helpful sales representative, answered all of our questions and found the answers if he didn't know them. My fiance and I are a young couple who haven't established credit yet. Kelly fought tooth and nail to get us financed for our vehicle and she did it! This was our first time purchasing a car from a dealership and they made it a great experience. Our family couldn't have asked for a better vehicle or a better deal on one. It means so much to me to have a safe vehicle I can transport my children in. I also have had four knee surgeries, and it is so much easier and less painful for me to get myself and the kids in and out of the Scion XB we purchased. These people truly care about their customers. They have changed our lives and we look forward to sending all of our family and friends here. THANK YOU!

Tony was quite a character. Very entertaining. But he was knowledgeable and worked with us to meet our price and payment requirements. Financing was arranged and we also had a sunroof installed. The workmanship was excellent. Can't tell from OEM. I usually hate buying a new car, but Spitzer was a pleasant experience.

The experience that my husband and I had at Spitzer Toyota this evening was outstanding! Our salesman ,Chris, was very friendly and easy going. He was very patient and made us feel very comfortable in the showroom as we waited to sign the paperwork(this process can take awhile). Chris was very upfront and honest with us the entire time. He did not pressure us into anything, but instead helped us to get the specific vehicle we wanted to take home today. There were several others interested in the same vehicle all day...it was such a great deal!!! Our finance manager, Kelly, was amazing. She helped put us in the vehicle that we so badly wanted to get today. She worked extremely hard to quickly get the financing done for our purchase and at a cost that was comfortable for us. She did not push any unnecessary products, but instead explained which options would be best for us and why. No SURPRISE costs! She explained everything, answered all questions, and gave great advice for future purchases. The sales manager ,Rob, took the time to introduce himself, speak with us and was extremely friendly. The entire atmosphere of this dealership is like none I have ever been to in the past. I would recommend this dealership and its employees to anyone who is looking for a relaxed, no pressure, honest, friendly and overall great experience when purchasing your next new or used vehicle. Thanks again Chris and Kelly!!!

Our experience at Spitzer started off a little rocky with an unprofessional salesman. We were ready to walk away from the agreed upon deal but the new Sales Manager, Jim Christ, was very understanding of our concerns and offered to make things right. Kristy saved the deal by finding us the desired car in a timely fashion. James Howard delivered the car to us and was very friendly and knowledgeable about our Highlander. I would gladly buy another car from James in the future.

2008 Saturn Aura - Nice car at good priceWas told via e-mail and the day I test drove the car that I would get a 3 month - bumper to bumper warranty. While signing the paperwork I was told by the finance guy "We don't do 3 month warranties""no idea what your talking about".Then he brought the salesperson in to the office and had her lie to my face.At that point it was not enough to make me change my mind.During the test drive I noticed a cracked side mirror and was told they would replace it and they put it in writing.During the first 2 days of driving the car I noticed a knocking sound when turning left and right.I found out that it is a factory defect common on most Saturn Aura's.I e-mailed 3 weeks later and asked about my mirror and also if I could get the knocking sound fixed under the 30 day ($100.00 deductable warranty). I was told by the salesperson "I will get back to you in a couple hours" that was August 15 2011. It is now March 3 2012.I also sent a customer survey explaining my situation to the dealership.NO CALLBACK,NO RESPONSE,NOTHINGAll I want is what is owed to me !Eric Painter

To begin with Mr. Jamie Benson was very courteous even though there was no guarantee that I would buy a vechicle. We went on a trial drive and he explained to me many features of the vechile. He helped in filling the paper work. It took the office staff several days to be ready to put the paperwork in mail. Mr. Jamie Benson helped to retrieve same and hand them over to me. He provided excellant customer service and I wish him the best in his career.

We had an excellent experience at Spitzer Toyota. We worked with Victor and Anthony, and our experience was stellar. They took time to thoroughly answer a lot of our questions. At no point did we feel pressured to buy a car, or suspicious of the price we were quoted. Victor provided excellent customer service; we felt like we were talking to an expert about a big decision, appropriately, and never felt as though we were a hurried commission. Victor and Anthony were transparent regarding a quote on the vehicle we were interested in -- and earnest in working with us on it. For these reasons, our positive, fun, and open experience buying a car was wholly unlike other dealings we've encountered in this industry. We will surely recommend Spitzer and Victor and Anthony as often as we can.

I felt this way because after purchasing a vechile at spitzer, drove it home find the car had many repairs that needed to be addressed, they took forever to get back to me, the car definitely did not go through the inspection they say they do. I just felt like the deal was a big sham, with alot of dishonesty. Providing a good honest product is not difficult, it is a choice by a business if they decide they want to provide the best product to thier ability. I don't want perfection, I want what I payed for, and what they say they are selling me. No smoke, mirrors, or lies!!!!!I would never purchase from this dealership ever again, this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership!

My wife's 2005 Toyota Highlander was due for state inspection and an oil change. In Dec 2011 I scheduled her car for service. While her car was there the service department found a leak in the power steering unit and water pump. Although the necessary parts were not in stock, they arranged for a loaner car until her vehicle was repaired. All the necessary repairs were made under warranty and there was no cost for the repairs. The service manager and all employees were very courteous and we were pleased with the entire experience. Even though we did have some minor problems with her Highlander we are very satisfied with the overall performance of the vehicle and would consider purchasing another vehicle from Spitzer Toyota. Spitzer Toyota offered great services. The reason I went there in the first place not only because I saw the vehicle of my choice, but they offered a free carfax report for the vehicle and lifetime inspections. Those were great services. The vehicle was also lower priced than the Kelly Blue Book. They also offered and explained the extended warranties. They offered me financing that was affordable and reasonable. When inspection was needed, the warranty replaced the ball joint that needed repaired, the wheel warranty repaired the tire that was flat and all services were taken care of quickly in one visit. The spitzer interior and exterior protection looks great. Josh Nestor kept me informed and provided a great service and communication. The only thing I disliked was the offer on my car for trade in was 3000 below what the kelly bluebook "trade in value" listed. Great place, when It's time to buy a Hummer H2, I hope they have one.

Great experience here, from day one until present...Tried on-line shopping, inquiry to another local dealer went without much of a reply. 2nd choice was Spitzer, TOTALLY opposite results, they embraced my inquiry and were ready to handle it.Kevin Barlack LISTENED to what I needed and wanted, which can be rare in a salesperson these days. Absolute commitment to getting me in a new car on my terms, and that is what it's all about.Megan worked with me to get financing and found me a great rate. I had a substantial down payment but was fresh off Chapter 7. I truly believe she did better than most "credit specialists" could have done.Service department has been exceptional. Biggest benefit I can point out is that they make appointments and KEEP THEM. If I am to be first in the door when they open, it HAPPENS.

Sales process went very well. Pat Laughlin did a good job and the sale price was a compromise on both sides. The service end has not supported the sales end. On one occasion I asked Duck a question about my vehicle and his response was "that is the way it is supposed to be beforwe I even finished the question. The topper was last winter on a snowy morning, my right wiper quit working. I contacted Spitzer by phone or email, I really don't remember but never received a call back. Since I work in Robinson, I took the vehicle to Kenny Ross. My wiper blade was fixed and a call made to my office before I even got back there. The best part of this episode was a month later Bob Kilmeyer called inquiring about my service problem. I simply lol and explained that was over a month ago. The vehicle has not been back to Spitzer since.

Buying as a single, senior female was a bit scarey. At Spitzer I was made to feel very comfortable and Matt really went out of his way to find the exact car I wanted and color I loved.I did not feel I was talked down to or patronized in any way. That's one of the things I was worried about. Service has been efficient, professional and never outrageously long. When I had an accident with my car the employee who answered the phone helped me so much and saved me extra towing due to her efficiency. The staff is friendly and competent and I most always have a smile on my face when I leave (not because I had to pay for repairs) but because Spitzer makes it as painless as possible and it's a nice place to do business. and that is why I can't say enough about Spitzer. Bought a used 2005 Dodge Ram truck from this dealer. Vehicle came with a standard 30 day warranty. 5 days into owning the truck the water pump failed and stranded me 90 miles from the dealership. Contacted the service manager who told me to send him the receipt for the repair and they would honor the warranty...a mere $221.00 which was done by an authorized cummins service garage. Receipt was scanned and emailed to the service manager. Several follow up phone calls and emails....none of which were ever returned or answered. Had a broken valve stem that was constantly pushing air out of my tire and called to see if someone could take a look at it to see if they could fix it quick or if I needed to come back. The lady told me noone could look at it because it would not be fair to the people that had appointments. I explained to her the severity of the situation and that it would take 30 seconds for someone to look at it. She said I could come and wait but it might be a few hours and it might not be at all for someone to look at the tire. For something this simple, it would have been a minute of their time to unscrew the stem and put in another which is exactly what was done when I took the car to Highland Tire in Tarentum. They were busy as well with 4 cars waiting outside to get tires but sent someone out in a minute and it took him a minute to fix it. He filled up all my tires and asked for nothing!!! No charge....This is how you do business. Take care of your customers and they will come back for more. For this reason alone, I will not buy another car from Spitzer. Learn some customer service and you will benefit from it more often than not.

I purchased a new 2008 Scion XD from this dealer which included free car wash for the length of the original owner. I came prepared with my finances and was already pre-approved from Toyota Financial Services, so there wasn't a need to run my credit through again. I spend 2 1/2 hours waiting for them to just come back and say I was approved already. My interest rate was the market standard and so there was absolutely no reason to run it 8 times, consequently lowering my credit score even more. I WONDER WHY? Secondly, they told me that Toyota insisted that every consumer must buy into this anti-theft window embedded stretch that cost me over $300. Later, I found out that this type of security was offered in the 80's and it was a rip off . Lastly, I took my car in for a recall item, my one tire was low in air pressure. They wanted to fix the slow leak for $22.00, I said no that's Okay. When I received my car from service they couldn't or wouldn't put air in the tire. And needless to say, I never received a Free Car Wash from them no matter how many times I stopped by to get one, because theirs so call Car Wash was out of service.

Management does not honor previous committments! I was promised a vehicle to drive anytime my vehicle was in for service. Management changed and the promise was no longer kept. Many key employees aware of this promise did nothing pressure new management to uphold the word of prior Spitzer management. I personally purchased more than 10 vehicles and was responsible for at least another 10 vehicle sales at Spizter. I was told several times by Spitzer General managers and Sales managers that "I was their best customer." New management turned their back on me! Now Spitzer lost their best customer ... all for a loaner vehicle!

Jamie was my salesman and he made the experience very painless. He gave information about the car without being pushy as other dealerships had been. He gave information about his own Rav-4. The price given on my trade-in was very reasonable - again much better than other dealerships. Although I have not yet taken my Rav-4 in for maintenance, I look forward to dealing with Spitzer.

Purchased first and only new car from dealership. Wrote to dealer requesting some resolution and dealer never contacted us directly (Toyota USA but not dealership). After last visit, mileage was incorrectly reported on write up, contacted dealership to request corrected invoice...never received invoice. Service department is not service oriented. Dealership did not make good on promise to make things right.

Kelly, the sales person was good to work with, but not anyone else. I bought a certified 2010 tundra when it was raining one night. The next day I noticed a crack in the windshield I did not see when I purchased it. When I went up there to get it fixed, the window repair person said it was fixed one time before and I could still see the crack in the windshield. The Used car sales manager would not replace it even though it was there before and the window repair person said it was. He is the prototypical used car salesman. Once it is off the lot, he does not care about what you have wrong with the vehicle even though they gave me the form that said nothing was wrong with the vehicle the night I bought the truck. I was also missing the antanna so I could not listen to the radio, and it took 3 weeks for one to arrive and when it came it, it did not fit. I am still waiting on an answer since Dec 19 about what I should do.
