I got a great deal on a 2016 HRV. And it had a small issue that I found the next day that was fixed immediately. I had my current car ( 2011 Corolla S ) troubled recently, and have a notice for inspection on it from MVA.Daniel ZHANG, was introduced from my former co-worker 's referral , who I met last December, at another TOYOTA dealership. Originally , I like to buy a newer corolla model again.Since Daniel moved to this new HONDA dealership, after a few day comparison bet Corolla and CIVIC, I made my decision to switch from TOYOTA to HONDA CIVIC model.Thank you, DANIEL. Sport Honda actually had the vehicle I wanted in stock. Other local Honda dealers either had no stock or claimed to have ample stock on their Websites but turned out to have no stock. So Sport Honda gets top marks, first, for investing in sales stock and, second, for business probity in not making false claims.I arrived (an hour drive) to find the salesman waiting for me. Mike Canter turned out to be a car guy, which is what you want when buying a car. We chatted briefly about my collector car at home before turning to the purchase. Mike knew a lot about the Ridgeline and did not have to refer to the manual to answer my questions or to demonstrate features. He has done his homework!The price was fair. This is not a cheap vehicle and it cannot be sold cheaply. Too bad... The trade-in allowance was fair - less than I wanted but my old truck was about used up, so I really mustn't grumble.All the personnel at the dealership worked simultaneously to prepare the truck whilst I completed the various documentary requirements, and this resulted in a completed purchase with me on my way in my new truck in just less than 2 hours. I think that was a good performance all around.

I applied for financing online prior to going in. Upon arrival I was taken out to the lot to look at the vehicles that were available. I was given a thorough explanation of what each car had to offer and upon test drive every feature of the accord was explained from a-z! Once a car was picked the financing process was very fast and painless. In no time the paperwork was complete and I was on my way to enjoy my new vehicle but not before my final vehicle walk through. I really enjoy the friendliness and professionalism but beyond that the way you are treated like family. Julius Crane, Bill in finance, and Ernest in the service department are all very excellent. All our dealings with Sport Honda have reflected their care and concern for their customers. We just took delivery last Friday and on Saturday night, somebody keyed a long scratch into the passenger side of the car. Our sales consultant, Julius Crane, went out of his way to help deal with the problem. First he took me to someone we hoped would be able to buff the scratch out. When that proved unworkable, he drove with me to the body shop Sport works with and facilitated the process of getting an estimate on the repair. Over the years, I have found that rather than push a more expensive car, Sport's sales staff really try to get you into the vehicle that's right for you. I recommend them and Julius Crane very highly.

Recently, I was hit by a Semi on 95/495 and, happily, I was not injured, but my car was badly damaged. I have felt for some time that I would feel more secure and safe in an SUV and, after an internet search, I decided to go to Sport Honda where several cars that seemed to fit my needs were advertised. Ken Eggleston met me and his considerate and professional approach helped to calm some of my anxiety from the accident. He showed me the cars I was interested in and others as well and I ended up buying a "previously owned" beautiful blue Honda CR-V which perfectly fills my requirements. I have not owned a Honda before, but I am already certain that this is the car home for me. The Sport Honda facility is attractive and inviting and completing the financial portion with Ted Baker was also easily accomplished. I never felt pressure and the whole process was highly professional. Ken put the icing on the cake by taking our rental car to Enterprise and turning in for me. Thanks Sport Honda; you're the best!

Finally I reach my goal, so first thing I do is call the sales man name Jim., he let me test drive the car any I enjoy it but when it comes down to paper work Jim lied he told me he will do anything in his power to help me get a car but didn't soon as they said I was deind he told me I should get a use car and I refuse a use car because they said I should put 8000' down . I've always had great experiences buying all four of my previous Hondas. The cars have always been great and the Honda salesman whom I worked with for many years was fabulous. I didn't think it could get any better, until my husband and I recently purchased our 2015 CRV from Jackie Barkley at Sport Honda. Jackie was referred to us by a very good friend and as usual, she was spot on. From the minute we said "Hi" to the moment we drove off in our new Honda, Jackie made us feel like we were the only two people who mattered. We not only got a great car at a great price, but got a surprising satisfying amount for our trade-in (a 2006 Civic). Even when Jackie turned us over to Brian in the Business Office, again, it was like talking to friends. No hard sell, no trying to get us to buy "the undercoating." The entire transaction (including both of us test driving the car) took about two hours and we were done by lunchtime. This is a dealership that understands what "customer service" is -- and it just isn't at the main dealership -- I use the Silver Spring facility for service and am always treated by professional, courteous, and helpful people. Everyone I interacted with at Honda Sport was very helpful, not once they tried to push a new/different/more expensive version of car or product into my direction. The sales person, Neil Dudley, was extremely helpful, informative and wonderful to work with; in fact, he was so informative and helpful at answering questions during my first phone call to Sport Honda that I decided to go there the following morning to test drive and maybe buy a car. If you have decided to buy a used or new Honda I highly recommend you pay them a visit. I was also impressed with the ample availability of new CRVs in a variety of colors and models, making your buying decision an easier one to make!!

I spent less than three hours at Sport Honda due to Chantell's efficiency. Chantell's warmth, efficiency and professionalism is hard to find in sales personnel these days. Last week, I bought my first vehicle from Sport Honda. I worked with Julius Crane who was great and very accommodating. What I love most about sport Honda is that they do not install extra features/packages. I was able to get the baseline vehicle (2015 Honda Accord EX-L) without having to pay for additional features that I did not want. My husband and I just bought a new CRV at Sport Honda. We contacted several local dealers by email in order to avoid being inundated by high pressure sales calls. Mark from Sport Honda contacted us and was very polite. We received none of the typical sales tactics from Mark. While other dealers were rude and seemed willing to tell us anything to get us in the door, Mark took the time to speak with his manager before giving us an offer. It's hard to explain exactly why but with the other dealers we felt they were not being honest with us but Mark came across as very honest. He treated us with respect and so we chose to work with him. The sale experience was excellent. Mark had the car ready to go when we arrived and the price was just as we had discussed, with no attempts to change or add on to what was agreed upon. Mark was friendly but efficient, taking time to answer any questions. We enjoyed working with him. Max from finance was also great, and made us feel very comfortable. The whole experience went much better than we expected and we could not be more pleased with our new CRV and the excellent deal we got. We recommend Sport Honda and Mark to everyone for a great price and a low stress car buying experience.

I started by requesting a quote through Edmunds price promise knowing the exact model I was looking for. Got a call from Julius who told me that they have a car on their lot exactly matching my request except for the color. I asked for the price and was given a very competitive quote. Arrived to the dealership with my wife and a 3 yo daughter at 7:30 pm left at 9:30 in the new vehicle. The two hour visit included - A test drive (Julius insisted that we test drove it although we said we were ready to buy without the test drive)- Loan application- Complete paperwork with new MD tags installed- Entertainment and hot chocolate for our daughterWhile the loan application was processed Julius did offer extended warranty and other services available, but in a gentle way.I will definitely check with Sport Honda before buying any vehicle in the future.

The experience was smooth and relatively quick (90 minutes including the loan documents). The price was very reasonable. Julius Crane assisted me with the process. First of all let me say that I just hate the process of buying a new car. All the haggling back and forth, pressure sales for things I don't want. Ugh! But that was not the case at Sports Honda. I had done my homework and found the car I wanted to buy. I had gone to other dealers for prices but didn't really get the feeling they wanted my business. When I went to Sports Honda I felt very comfortable. They had the car I wanted and gave me a much better deal than the other dealerships. Phew! I was so happy to find a place that respected my wishes by creating a no hassle process. They took the time to explain everything to my satisfaction. I drove off the lot very excited and in love with my new Honda instead of drained. I highly recommend going to Sports Honda if you are in the market for a new Honda. They treat you right!

We felt no pressure and the good reviews were validated. Our sales rep, Elliot Robinson, is absolutely first-rate. He walked us through the process and it was painless. This was a much better experiences I have had in getting a car compared to the past where I had dealers looking out for their self and not the customer. Chantell was very helpful, friendly and showed great knowledge in assisting me in getting a car that fit my EXACT needs. I was given complete and well informed information regarding the features and functions of the cars that I was looking at which helped me to narrow my choice down to the best fit. Throughout the purchase and afterwards she is always responsive. I never felt pushed one way or the other. I have purchased and traded with Sport before and I will continue to work with Chantell. She even helps schedule my service and actually calls me to remind me that it may be time for maintenance and send coupons!!! I have been searching for a car for a few weeks and was starting to get a bit frustrated with all of the runaround. I was told a price at another dealership, went there and was about to sign the papers only to find out there were about $2000 additional fees that would be added to my "out the door price" I was given two days earlier. When I contacted Mark, he provided me with what I needed to know (no beating around the bush - just a straight on the mark offer). Out the door, nothing added that I did not choose and it was about $2000 less than other vehicles I was looking at. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great customer service - , he even contacted me on his day off (dealership was closed) to let me know if I wanted a "door buster" I should arrive early. He even followed it up, to make sure I was still coming and had everything there ready when we arrived. We were in and out within a couple of hours (included test driving the car) and were not pressured to add "unwanted or unnecessary items" to the cost. We have bought many vehicles in the past and this was the BEST experience we have had. After we purchased the car we were introduced to the service staff and the manager - Super Service all around. My husband already has a Honda, now one for my grandson, and I am thinking my next purchase will be another Honda from Mark. If you are looking to buy a Honda and are skeptical of sales people don't be - Mark with treat you with the dignity and respect you deserve.

Overall it was ok during the buying process. Sale rep would try everything to please customer, which is a good thing in customer's favor. We ended up having a very good deal with a 2014 Odyssey. Then we noticed the front passenger door was not aligned with the fender, so when opened or closed the door, it would get in contact with the fender. Even though it was a very slight contact, but it was still very annoying knowing the van was brand new. The paint on both the door and fender got scratched off a bit. We had to bring it back for a fix. A couple weeks later we then found out this was totally the dealer's fault as they were repairing another recall issue (side curtain airbag electrical component) on the same door. So they properly messed up the alignment when they put the door back on after repair. Final issue with the dealer would be the lengthy process of refund. We bought an extended warranty from a third party through this dealer. We cancelled it after 3 weeks (within allowable 60 days for full refund). The cancellation was already a hassle (called at least 9 times, voice messages and no call back). Until we were able to talk to the right person, after which it was quite simple. Not sure how the process works, but we still haven't seen the amount credited back to the loan yet after over a month.

I recently decided to purchase a new Honda CRV. Since we have taken our Hondas to them for service for nearly 20 years, I went to them first when I wanted to test drive the 2014 CRV EX-L. Randy Anastasi and Clint Rose were a great sales team and answered all my questions. There was no pressure and they made a genuine effort to understand what I wanted. When it came to making the buying decision, we are loyal customers, but I still did due diligence and shopped around for a best price. I came back to them with a more competitive price from another local dealer and SPORT Honda agreed to match it, which pleased me twice over. Once, because it meant I could afford to buy my CRV from the dealership I preferred, and twice because in matching the price they proved to me my customer loyalty really was worth something to them. Because of their honest and professional sales staff, and their willingness to demonstrate how much they value their customers, they have once again proven they are deserving of our long-term loyalty!

He gave me a price and I asked him what was invoice, he said you wont' tell me your info so you can look it up yourself. This place has the heaviest-handed sales tactics - they do NOT have the customer's interests at all in mind. At the service department, they pad every inspection with unnecessary repairs, then CALL you at home to remind you of them, even though you told them you don't want them. But the worst was when they called me to offer to 'buy my car back' (we bought new there in 2009), and when we got there they LOW balled us and tried to sell us a new car. Just a cheap tactic to get you in the door. Go somewhere else.

We recently purchased two Honda vehicles for our business (An Odyssey and a Pilot - both 2013). Mark Kahler was our sales person, and he was really great to work with. Letting us take a vehicle overnight to test out, pricing up different options within budget, and offering recommendations on options - he really gave us great service. He took the time to show us all of the options, had no issues with us wanting to see a number of different vehicles, and even measured the interiors for us to check for cargo space with various seats removed. (Very helpful for us). Not much to say about the vehicles other than the fact they are Honda's - which makes them great. Smooth rides, great features, and a great deal. They will serve us well! I couldn't believe i had similar experience with Carpac who wrote the review a year ago!I also asked for the second set of keys on the day i bought the car (August 10th, 2013), the salesman promised me to find it and give me a call the following Monday. He never called.I called back the following Wednesday, nobody answered, i left two messages, still, no one responded. I called him today and he answered, he asked me to hold on for a second and then, he said nothing but to call me back later. Again, two hour has passed, and my phone never rings. Not answering my phone is never a way to solve the problem! The buying process went well, I did not expect him to be so irresponsible after i paid for the car. I hope this problem could be solved as soon as possible!

Called them the day earlier, for a flat tire, got in the second morning, serviced in a timely manner, free shuttle to work back and forth. Took less than two hours to take two nails out of the tire. The service charge is really cheap. I would definitely recommend this dealer for anyone.

Until Sport Honda, I was not one who used to think very highly of dealerships, but every time I go there, I'm treated well and so is my car. They have a great shuttle driver, Scotty, who goes out of his way to take me to work (which is just down the road), and the service consultants (Ernest White and Jack Francis) are terrific. Jack just took me to his computer to find me the best prices on some new tires. I've gotten to know them at the service department and they've gotten to know me. It's kind of like getting that small town service where everyone just treats you right and everyone is friendly. The cashiers are as nice as they can be! Everyone takes pride in their work. I highly recommend this dealership.

A month or so ago I started contemplating a new vehicle because a younger of my two cars entered its eight year. I was not particularly excited about any model in my price range, but casually visited several dealerships in the area and, pretty much everywhere, experienced a known set of marketing maneuvers aimed to quickly coerce me into decision to purchase. Slowly my preferences crystalized down to three models of the two makes, and I decided to devote the last of my visits to the dealership where, some 20 years ago, I purchased my first car in the US - Sport Honda, formerly known as Wilson's Honda. I exchanged a few words with two man at the entrance when somebody tapped me on the shoulder and said "I remember this voice, and this accent, and in minute I will recall the name". And he did! Julius Crane, a soft spoken Australian with demeanor of a college professor, recognized me after 20 years. We spend half-an-hour in a pleasant chat - not once did we mention the price. He passionately introduced me not to eye catching gadgetry, but to conceptual novelties and technical finesses of the 2013 Accord - from direct injection to continuos variable transmission, to economy mode and monitoring software. He helped me define what is that I really needed from a car. When I was about to leave Julius remarked that it is Sport Honda's philosophy to cultivate and nurture its ever-widening "family" of their customers. "When you are ready" he said "give me a call", and Sport Honda "will do its best not only to give you at least one-dollar better price, but also to turn one rather stressful event into a pleasant experience". "We don't want only you back in our family" he said, "but also your kids, and the kids of your kids". A week later, by pure chance, a personal connection of one of my friends produced a highly competitive offer from one of major dealerships in the area. Intrigued by Julius's promise, I decided to test his commitment by sending him an e-mail and asking for a "dollar better deal" from the one I had in hand. Five mails followed. Next morning my wife and I walked into the Sport Honda's showroom. All papers were already prepared, the car was polished and brought in front of the building, Julius Crane's colleague - jovial and irresistibly charming New Yorker, David "Buddy" Gray, went a way above and beyond to provide me with the best possible financing and insurance options, as if we grew together. Julius spend an hour on passenger's seat familiarizing me with advanced features of one truly remarkable vehicle. When we stepped out of the vehicle - my new MD tags were already installed!I've bought quite a few cars in my 63 years of life. Some of those transactions were bearable, some left a bitter taste in my mouth. This last one changed the paradigm - and changed it big time! Yes, people in Sport Honda do sell cars. But more than just that, they proselytize their passion for their brand, and their trust in the product that they hand over to us, mere mortals. And yes, I think that my daughters will visit Sport Honda when the time comes for their new cars. And if I live long enough to have them - my grandkids, too.

Ginny Marshall was so wonderful in helping me find my car. My husband and I love her friendlyness and great customer service so much that we bought 2 Accords from her. I know for a fact that we will NEVER shop with any other dealership or dealer. She wasn't pushy and really listened to what we were looking for and what we really wanted. She really deserves a promotion. I wish all sales people were like that. It would make buying a car so much easier

Used Car: Honda OdysseyTrade-in: Honda PilotOn: 12/17/2012With new addition to the family, my wife and I were on the market for a new vehicle, had car in mind, had price in mind.. Set up appointment through online chat with Chantel. Went to dealship on Monday. Met up with Danny Randal. He took the keys to the pilot and made a copy of my license, got the pilot appraised, once appraised on the road we went for a test drive.Danny brought us back, we were settled, me and the wife wanted the car so we started talking numbers. With the new addition to the family obviously money is tight, so I had a number in mind. There was back and forth for a little bit about what they would give for the car and negotiating on the price of the car. I'm a terrible negotiator, and maybe the number I had in mind was too aggressive. But I had to go above the number we had in mind, asked if there was any service packages that he could throw in to compensate for the bottom line number, Danny told me he wasn't sure because his used car manger had already left for the night. Said he would check for me tomorrow, so we agreed to a out the door price, taxes and tags, signed on the dotted line.Went over to the used dealer lot to finish up the finance details. They ended up charging an additional $80 because car needed new tags as opposed to transferring tags... wasn't happy about that, agreed price had already been signed for. They had the Odyssey cleaned up and brought over for us. At this point it was late, so I know Danny was tired, but the finance lady seemed really cranky to me. I understand it was a long day for all of us. There were remote key-less entries (key fobs) for the van. It's got auto-locks, and sliding doors and trunk, but no key fobs? The van also were missing the manuals that you would normally get in the glove box.We cleaned out the pilot, threw all the junk into the odyssey, we jumped in the van and home we went. We came there in a pilot and were rolling home in our new Odyssey. We were very excited. We are unhappy about a few things, that we are trying to get resolved at the moment, Danny was in the process of helping us the next day, will update once that gets worked out.ManualsKey-less entry remotesService packageTime-line:Online chat with Chantel, who set up appointment. 5 stars, so convenient to speak online chat like that, and get some initial questions answered and set up appointment. Didn't quite have the answer regarding key fobs and service package when asked about it but he was very prompt about answering the phone and emailing me the next day to speak with a manger, my wife is stopping by to get the new key fobs reprogrammed so i will update once we have an outcome.Finance, she was nice enough, i think she was just cranky because it was so late. Also wasn't happy that she charged extra $80 for new tags, when we had already signed at a different price.Overall I gave 3 stars for my experience because of a few loose ends that are still up in the air.Update: 12/20/2012Yesterday, my wife was told that she could come by so that they would provide the manuals, key fobs and talk about the service package. Today I'm updating my post and I have to say I'm quite disappointed. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they would fix all the things that went wrong and I could say some positive things, but that was not the case.1) It took them 90 minutes for them to program 1 key fob for the car, not key "fob's"as i was expecting. Apparently the manger only approved a single key-less entry remote for our new purchase.2) they did give us our user manual, which, frankly should have been in the car in the first place3) they didn't even consider or discuss the service package. My negotiating potential was clearly reduced having already driving away in the car on Monday.This review is based on my experience. I already knew which car I wanted, I had a price in mind, I had a check in hand. The car I got was great, but every dealership has this car, I could have gotten in any where else and I know I could have gotten a better price. But I thought Danny was a likeable guy, and I thought that the dealership was going to make it right and I could have walked away with a much better experience.If you go here, make sure to negotiate everything out front, don't let them tell you that you can call them back and work it out with the manager. I was just an excited buyer and let it get the better of me. Due to this experience and what I feel like a sour end, I'm downgrading from my original 3 > 2 stars.

I was trying to arrange by phone and email a long distance low initial cost/low monthly payment lease for my daughter to pick up when she arrived after closing hours on Saturday. She was arriving from Alaska for her new job on Monday morning and I was arriving on Saturday afternoon from North Carolina. Complicating the transaction was the fact that my daughter, whose name the car was going to be in, would not be available to sign the papers before closing time. Danny got it all worked out so all I had to do was sign a paper saying I had picked the car up. The car was cleaned, gassed up and ready to go. I must say, given the unusual circumstances, this was the easiest car transaction I have ever experienced.I would highly recommend Danny and Sport Honda for anyone looking to purchase a car.

They didn't use some tricks, such as stalling to make you to lose your patience or playing price games. What they have said can show in the paperwork. The customer service is excellent. Everyone there is very professional and friendly. Julius Crane (senior sales consultant) offered me the best deal in the area and he was not pushy whatsoever. Julius treats me like family everytime I see him. Max Cho (business manager) worked really hard to give me a good rate and to work within my budget. Max commutes from Owing Mills because he said his employees are worth the commute. I highly recommend this dealer.

I went with my girlfriend to buy a car. She purchased a 2009 Honda Civic EX with Nav from this place. The car had recently come in so they had not had a chance to clean it yet. My girlfriend wanted a car that day and so she decided to buy this car.My issues with this dealership:1. They talk to you like you are stupid and know nothing about cars and that they have the best cars on earth.2. The salesman was the epitome of a "used car salesman."3. When I pointed out all the defects on the car (such as the two door panels that were poorly buffed by the previous owner), the salesman made it seem like I was creating such a burden on him for wanting a clean car. He also mentioned what they do to make it look nice (said it in a way like he was doing me a favor).4. Due to weather, we took the car back two weeks later to get the work done on the body. The bumper was newly painted as expected. But the rest of the exterior was all dusty. There was wax on the rear tire where the guy had buffed out the two passenger side doors. The front bumper was still coming out on the passenger side because they didn't put in the clips as required.It was very difficult to work with this salesman. He didn't treat you like royalty as they should to get you to buy a car from them. You had to ask for EVERYTHING to be done that should have been done anyways (see above). If my girlfriend didn't want to buy a car that day, I would have left after 20 minutes with this guy and never returned.

I met with Danny after having been to three other dealerships. What a breath of fresh air. No games, no beating around the bush and for the first time I felt that I was being treated respectfully as an adult. Danny worked with me and gave me a great price compared to the other dealerships. If you are in the market for a new car, ask for him you will be plesantly surprised, specially if you have been any of the other dealerships.

I bought a used car there in August. The used dealer only had one set of keys and I inquired about the second set as buying a Fob and replacement would be an extra expense for something that normally comes with the car. I was told by the manager, Tom Miller, that if the second set of keys didn't turn up in the next few days--he'd get a FOB for me and good deal on having a key made. A few days later, I was told the FOB was in the mail. Well, its now two and 1/2 weeks later and guess what?! the dealership no longer returns my calls or responds to email. Hmmmm....what happened to honoring your commitments? Good customer service? Really disappointing.

Sport Honda offered the best rate for Odyssey EXL 2012. I had negotiated the rate over email with Ginny Marshall and was very pleased with their service. When I went there, the whole process was over in may be 45 minutes. They offered some extra services but when I declined them, they did not try the marketing pitch again. Just very straight forward... would recommend to any one.

There just aren't enough superlative adjectives to describe my experience with Ernest White and all of the service staff at Sport Honda! I had purchased a used 2004 Honda Van a year and a half ago, to replace a 1998 Honda CRV that had come to the end of the road after 11 years and 198,000 miles of fun. When a "Maintenance Required" light came on and stayed on, I suspected that this could be the start of an extraordinary (and extraordinarily expensive) adventure. The staff at Sport Honda (the dealership closer to my new residence in Silver Spring than the dealership at which I had purchased my van) could not have been more helpful. Like many of us, I am currently under-employed and was able to stay on top of routine maintenance of my vehicle (regular oil changes, tire pressure), but had not been able to afford more comprehensive care for a while. Ernest White and his teammates carefully looked at my vehicle, and described the number and kind of maintenance tasks that would be needed to make my car ship-shapeand most importantly, they prioritized these tasks with me so that I could figure out a schedule of costs that I could afford. A few weeks later, I returned with my car to have the front brakes replaced and start checking off the essential service we had discussed.Three weeks later, the engine light came on, and the car began to hesitate. I brought my car back in, and Ernest White told me that the transmission had failed, but in speaking with me, he asked if I had purchased a power train warranty with this used car, and that we should investigate to see if this problem would be covered. I was so petrified by the possibility of having to pay thousands of dollars, that I couldn't hear or understand much after "the transmission has failed." Ernest White arranged for the car to be looked at by representatives of the power-train warranty, and they agreed to cover the transmission replacement. You can't imagine my reliefand this is not something I could have done on my own (or that might not have come up, if I had not taken this to a Honda dealership).It took a few days to ship the transmission in, but I drove away with a car that drives wonderfully now for the small price of a $100 deductible. Huge tragedy avoided, and only because Ernest White and his team took the time to ask the right questions and doggedly stay with this challenge until it was solved. I'm the first to admit that I'm a little quirky, but everyone on staff at the Sport Honda dealership could not have been more helpful, courteous and friendly. My car(s) and I won't be going anywhere else for service and support, and I will recommend them to friends and family.

My car's alternator needed replacement right away; I drove my car to the dealership with out an appointment. I was offered a ride if I didn't have one. John Hurwitz called me prior to making any repairs; he also made some calls to find out if the extended warranty would cover the expense. (Unfortunately, it didn't cover anything.) My car was ready for pick up at noon the next day; the cost was reasonable. I will return for future care repairs.

I had to trade in my 2001 Corvette recently, and off of a coworkers referral chose Sport Automotive as my dealership. I was contacted by Pete via e-mail and was eager to visit their lot. I arrived and learned that Pete was not going to make it in, but was assisted by Brian. Brian listened to what I wanted to do, and I got what I wanted for my Corvette and got the car I had seen online the night before. Great dealership and very military friendly.

it is very reassuring to have someone at the dealership oversee the service to be done.He is like an ombudsman between the customer and the folks who perform the service.He also occasionally recommends work that is not the reason you came to have your car serviced - either because there is currently a sale for that service or because he thinks it would be a good idea. But there is never pressure to have anything done. Obviously things that affect the safety of the car and the customer are highly recommended, and the reasons given are detailed so that the customer understands exactly what is to be done. I feel safe and secure with Silver Spring Sport Honda, its sales and service departments. At no time have I ever felt that I was being "taken" to have more work done than necessary. Sally Oesterling

Honda service is the best of all Japanese car manufacturers. Honda's reputation for customer service shines at Sport Honda dealership. I have never owned a car that has never broken down. My 1998 Honda Civic has NEVER broken down. Sport Honda anticipates problems before they happen. They are honest about their estimates of repair costs and when I should anticipate having repairs done. They are sensitive to my budget and I do not have to ask for discounts, they are automatically applied.

This dealer is rude and unprofessional. First he told me that he will take my offer and then he said I will not take anything lower than the advertised price. He got mad and hung up on me. When I asked him why did you say that you will take an offer then? his reply was "i can't help you, good bye" He was really mean on the phone the entire time. Some other honda dealers in wheaton and bethesda are way more professional and excited when you call them. The person I talked to was DAN and his phone number is: 301-717-2171. Call him to believe in this review! He may calm down for you after ready this. I hope this review helps them improve their quality of service. We had to replace our 1999 CR-V, after almost 13 years of depenable service. We started on Cars.com and got an idea of the price. We used our Sam's club membership to get a quote. when we got there both Ginny and Mario were off, but Chris took care of us very quickly. They honored the lower of 2 quotes we recieved from them. We had decided to upgrade to the SE model, and they just added the difference in the invoice. There were no extra charges, no ettras added to the car and sticker price, and none of the game of walking back and forth, to talk to the "manager" to approve the deal. We were done and out the door in 90 minutes. We have go back for the splash guards, but form the initial service we recieved, we don't expect any promblems.All in all very professional. I was able to walk out with my tags transfered, and a new registration on the same day. Great job! I would recommend theses guys to anyone.

We had a very good experience purchasing our new Honda Odyssey from Sport Honda. The salesperson who sold us our vehicle was refreshingly straight-forward and made the process much easier than car-buying has ever been for us. We saved between $5-10,000 with Sport Honda based on our wide search for the price we were seeking. The only things that we would've appreciated would have been more detailed information about the options for the vehicle we were purchasing as well as a complete run-down of the mechanical functions of our vehicle since we'd never owned a minivan. Nonetheless, friends of ours have already purchased their Honda from Sport Honda based on our recommendation, and we would recommend them highly to anyone.

6PM. I drove off, and 5 minutes after leaving I had to turn around because the dashboard electric STILL wasn't functioning correctly.ALSO my salesperson was MIA after this problem arose. I know she had other clients to deal with but it took me sitting in the showroom visibly upset after waiting 2 hours the 2nd time I had to bring it back to get any help from sales/management.Pros: They gave me the option of taking a loaner car home and they would drive up my new car when it was fixed.Cons: It WAS the carbon canister which they mentioned when they called later the next week to say it was really fixed. I also don't like being told the car is fixed 3 times when that is not the case. Pros: The driver got it here in one piece and it was a quick exchange.

After a lot of perusing the internet and calling and calling and calling. I finally found a vehicle that I wanted. The gentlemen at Sport Honda were great. I did have to wait a little initially for the associate that I was working with to get back from lunch when I showed up, but other staff members made sure to keep me comfortable and entertained while I waited. The gentlemen at Sport Honda were knowledgeable, funny and helpful. I am very appreciative of their work!

Fantastic!!!!!! I got a quote through AAA, and in no time, Ginny gave me a call and sent me an email. Unlike a lot of "internet dealers", she was able to give me specifics over email and phone, including quotes for all applicable fees and taxes. Even with financing options, she was very quick to calculate payments for all the options I suggested. How simple!Picked up the car today, and besides the finance manager rushing through the paperwork and really pulling hard to sell me on an extended warranty, the transaction could not have been more hassle-free.As for the actual dealership, it's incredibly small and is wedged between a whole bunch of other dealerships. There isn't much of a showroom (you really have to squeeze in between the cars and the desks)!

Extremely pleasant experience buying a new car (for a change), from the quick -- and low cost -- online quote, which was fully honored, to the no pressure sales (Mark Kahler) and financing (Joel Altman) approaches. After previous new car purchases, was dreading another car-buying experience. Instead, everything was upfront, low-key, and altogether unstressful. Got the car I was promised, at the (low) price) I was promised, plus much better financing than my own credit union would give me. Hope not to need another new car any time in the near future, but will definitely return to Sport Honda.

This has to be the stupidest and most unfriendliest dealership I have ever been to. I am a repeat customer and they still treat you like crap. I went in for a oil change and service an the stupid girl their gave me this attitude like you couldn't imagine. This dealership had a deal going when I bought my first Honda their that if I get the service done, then the oil chain would be free. I loved it. So now that I just got a new Honda and took it in for an oil change and service she told me that since this is our first service, your oil change would be free. I told that in the past, I had gotten this deal where I would get a free oil change I I got the service done. She looked at me like I was a con artist and laughed and said " haha... Nice try... It's not gonna happen." I felt really disrespected for trying to find out why I wasn't getting the deal and I felt especially disrespected as I am a loyal sport honda customer that was being treated like trash. I'm not coming back here again.

Evaluating the 1006 East-Hwy location in downtown Silver Spring. If I have a complex problem, this place has solved it on numerous occasions. They're accurate, honest, and will recommend what your car needs. Better be safe than sorry! I've taken the car to a couple small Mom-n-Pop places that usually don't work because they don't have experienced techs nor machines to properly diagnose the problem. You get what you pay for. They offer complimentary rides within their area.

We are very happy with this place. We returned a number of times to test drive the CRV, and Van Rose was always willing to let us try it again and again. We ended up purchasing a 2010 Honda Accord Ex-L. Van Rose did everything to help us, including getting us a great price on the car. We highly recommend him. We paid cash for the car, but still had to wait forever to get to the finance person (Joel Altman). However, we purchased on a very busy Saturday afternoon and just had to wait our turn. It was a very long wait, but once we got in the closing office everything went quickly. He did not give us a lot of hassle about buying extras, and we really appreciated that. A couple of weeks later, we were invited to a new car owner's workshop. This was extremely informative and enjoyable! By gosh, they even fed us!! We have not had our new car in for service yet, but we do not anticipate any trouble. Just go on in and ask for Van Rose. He'll take good care of you.

FYI- I am in the mist of possibly closing a deal for a 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid. This is going to take about another couple of weeks and Alex has been working with me through it all except Financing. I have not touched the Financing department yet so I don't know their gimmick. Alex Chan- makes your Honda searching experience seems like a walk in the park. I don't know what others are talking about. I guess He protected me from truly horrible dealerships like COLLEGE PARK HONDA! Don't EVER GO THERE!! See my other review on College Park Honda if you want the scoop on them. So I'm an Asian Female--worst criteria to buying a car since they underestimate you to think females don't know their cars. If only I knew better I would just work with Alex with all my car business dealings. From the moment I stepped into the dealership no one tried to approach me to try to earn my business. I had no wait. Alex took all the time to work with me & no rush. The people at the dealership respected me and I only worked with Alex. Alex will tell you the face value. What he said over email is basically what I got when I met him. He will save you time & money by not playing games and from the gecko only provided the BEST value there is. SO good that other dealers could not beat and would tell me I should just go to Alex. Alex knows his deals are excellent and yet gives it to you!! Alex is honest and straight to the point. I'm a new yorker and I don't trust people so to say you can Trust Alex should say plenty!! His so good that other dealers who know him are actually good friends with him and can vouch for his honesty, integrity and fairness. Jason Weddington from Jim Coleman can tell you that for sure. Jason was also nice, providing me some advice and warning me about other business and what to look out for.You've met a rare jewel once you work w/ Alex! I guarantee it! Don't waste your time on anyone else--going to Alex will save you time. Listen to HIM (He continues to tell me that as he continues to be right!). His patient and will tolerate every question you throw at him since he did mine--even the silly ones!!

My sales person was great. He answered my questions, didn't pressure me at all into buying the car. He was really friendly, easy to talk to.The Finance guy (Lee) was horrible. VERY Pushy!!! Lied to my face or is just stupid... which is scary because he is one of the final people you deal with in the grand scheme of things. He lied / mislead me about refinance vs used car loan. I told him I had a better deal with another bank, he refused to write a temp contract until Monday (I purchased the car on a Sunday). He KEPT insisting that I could get my loan with Bank of American the next day, after I sign the paper work for a loan through Sun Trust. I KEPT telling him no, that would be considered a refinance loan, I WANT to use BOA to purchase out-right, he wouldn't listen to me. Don't let the finance people use their pressure tactics on you.Also the used car sales manager (Pete) isn't the friendliest of people either. He only cares about making money and not customer safety. He would rather sell a car with a barely minimum passing safety issue vs. losing $100 on a $16,000 sale.

I went there to buy a new car and I have received such a bad experience. the sale person first warmly welcomes me, she sent me a good price quote and I finally decided to visit the place but soon after she knew that I decided not to buy, she finally showed her witched attitude even kind of yelled at me. First I thought she was so nice that as I found a customer testimonial on the sport honda company's website http://blog.sporthonda.com/?p=11. Actually, I wanted to get a car from the place but my bro suggested to me I should check another dealer as well before in order to be fair because I also request a quote from that dealer too. I was lucky not choose work with such a place.

Came for a key recoding service one day. The friendly man on the phone quoted me a price for the service and was a competitive price in area compared to other shops. A good price that included the panel being looked at, fixing of the door, and rekeying. $250, no gimmicks or hassles. Other non-Honda shops charged the same or higher especially for the rekeying kits, ridiculously to $600. If you own a Honda or an import car, come to this place! The technicians are skilled and know what to do and they'll check anything else if you ask them w/o extra charge.

First of all the communication is horrible if you are a female and they don't give you much information about pricing and any calls to you about the updates to the car. I went to the Collision Center off Minnick Rd. for repairs from an auto accident. Mr. Harrington was not-so nice to me and talked in a mechanical tone, but he does explain what's going to happen and if you asked about pricing, he will gladly tell you. He promises to call me for updates on the car, but never did. He didn't even call me when the repairs were done so that I return the rental car on time. Same with Jeanie Dugan at the service center off Auto Blvd. No communication as to when the car is done and any updates Also no communication from my auto insurance adjuster. A double whammy for me. They did an excellent job on the work and the price was ok, wish they communicated better! I had to make the calls. Grr!!!

Prompt service, friendly reps, cozy waiting-room atmosphere (wireless provided) were reasons for me to recommend this dealer to anyone who needs his vehicle serviced. Before I bought my 08 Honda Odyssey from another Honda dealer, I received a price quote from Sports Honda and the price was very competitive. Unfortunately, I bought my car on the New Year's Day when no other Honda dealers were open except one dealership from whom I eventually bought the vehicle.

Julius Crane sends us an email with a quote for new Honda willing to sell it for about $500 less than other competitors.2. Julius Crane meets us at the door of the dealership, but he cannot help us right away, because he is with another customer.4. Julius Crane wants us to wait. He cannot say for how long, because he doesn't want to let us down giving wrong estimates.5. Julius Crane is ready to help us after 1.5 of waiting.6. Julius Crane has a brilliant idea to give us a ride, just to make us see how good the car is.7. Finally, Julius Crane has some bad news for us:- That wonderful Internet price he sent is not of that car we were asking for, Julius Crane mixed up the manual and automatic transmission. And we have to pay just as much as $500 additional $$$ for his little mistake.8. I purchased a Honda Fit from Sport about a month ago. I was about to buy a Nissan but the dealer started playing games w/ me. The sales person 'had the wrong car in mind when she gave you that price' was the game the manager started to play when we went in to pick up the car. So I left Nissan and went to Honda and Sport didn't play any games. Van is low key so if you want an exciting or chatty salesperson, he's not your guy, but if you want one that gives you the information you want and doesn't hassle you, he's great. Everything went smoothly and there were no surprises. Going back to Sport to purchase another vehicle and take advantage of the CARS (cash for clunkers) program this week.

No Hassle.They gave us a very reasonable price for our trade as well.We had gone to 3 other Honda dealers and were not happy. The SRS light in my 1996 Honda Accord had been on for some time. When I asked Ourisman Honda (where I used to take it for servicing) last year about it, they said it would probably cost about $1,300 to get in, find the problem, and fix it. Three weeks ago I decided I needed to fix it and I first took it to Herson's Honda (where I bought it) to have them look at it - they charged $65 for a diagnostic test, and gave me a quote of $930 to fix it. Apparently, they did not try to reset the computer coder on it, which is recommended as a first step. I made an appointment at Sport Honda - the Service Center at 1006 East-West Highway in Silver Spring, MD (they have 2 locations) - and they charged $104 for a diagnostic. However, their diagnostic included re-setting the code - which resulted in the warning light no longer coming on, and they drove it around a bit to see if it stayed off, and it did. They told me to watch it closely, that if it came on I would need to get the more expensive fix, but it appeared that re-setting the code was all that was needed since the warning light was no longer on. That was two weeks ago, and the warning light still has not come on. The result, at least for now: everything appears to be in working order, but I saved between $800 and $1,200 by taking it to Sport Honda. While Herson's was friendly and prompt in doing the diagnostic, the Sport Honda staff were exceptionally professional and friendly as well, and obviously went the extra mile - and seem to have saved me a ton of money and an unenecessary replacement.I've never received this kind of a surprise from a car dealership. As I plan to hold onto my '96 Honda for a while, this is the place I will take it back for service to in a heartbeat and will recommend to anyone with a Honda. Not sure what their other facility is like (which does both sales and service), but if I buy another Honda this would be the first place I'd go look since it owned/operated by the same folks as the East-West service center.Dennis ReynoldsChevy Chase, MD

Although I'm never going to put 100% faith in a car dealer, I was favorably impressed by Sport Honda of Silver Spring, Maryland. They (1) responded promptly to an online request for a price; (2) offered a below-invoice price; (3) charged a processing fee less than the maximum allowed by Maryland law; and (4) didn't charge extra for the one dealer-added feature, a pin stripe on the car. They did make a pitch for an extended warranty, but I would have been shocked if they didn't. I also noticed that some of the flyers on display included an explanation of why add-ons offered by others dealers (such as nitrgoen-inflated tires) aren't a good investment. I don't think buying a car will ever be stress-free, but it would certainly be a lot better if more dealers were like Sport Honda.

Sport Honda offered the best price for the car of any dealer in the greater DC Metro area. We were able to get a very high discount from Sport beacuse we used Car Baragins to negotiate a price. As Car Bagains was able to negotiate a price for us, we walked into the dealership already knowing the price we were going to pay for the car. There were no hassles after that other than the routine of filling out all of the paperwork. I would highly recommend using Car Bargains in future car purchase, and I would recommend purchasing from Sport Honda.

Great dealership for sales - I arranged a price with them via phone and email, and they honored it, no surprises. Transaction at the dealership was smooth and all three people I dealt with were friendly. Everything as promised!
