Our salesman Israel was very polite and knowledgeable. He was not pushy or over aggressive. The dealership had a great selection of CX -5 s so there was no need to look elsewhere. Our deal was concluded quickly with no excessive haggling. The finance officer was not over aggressive with the " add ons" we purchased the maintenance package because really good price for it.

Went in for services and they ransacked my car, they couldn't find it for about 45 minutes after they found it my items were stolen they stoled my Ray-Ban glasses that are the vintage ones and they will not reimburse me and they will not find out who did it

I just bought a new 2016 Mazda3 from Spreen Mazda in Loma Linda, thanks to the help of Jose Montiel the Product Specialist and Andrew Saldana the Sales Manager. I was looking for to upgrade my Mazda3 2006 to a Mazda3 2016 model. As a potential buyer I was very concerned about the price I have to pay to get a car out of the lot. I went to other two mazda dealerships in the Riverside county and the sales guys I spoke to did not seem to be interested in divulging the full price of the car. Initially I got on the phone with Jose, and I was convinced I need to go check it out. Jose was really helpful. He took me around and offered me a test drive of the car. I was impressed. I said I was gonna get it immediately. I expected the whole process of buying a new car to take the entire day, but Jose and Andrew made sure the experience was quick and easy. I came in knowing what car I wanted and Jose found one that was the color and trim that I wanted. Negotiating the price was no problem since Andrew Saldana the Sales Manager was very fair about the whole process. I brought in some documents from other competitors and he immediately matched it and gave me a discounted price. Jose was really amazing throughout the entire process. He was super nice and caring, making sure to explain the status of the car so that I was not left waiting in the dark. Jose and Andrew were both great in making the buying experience exceptional. I definitely recommend others to visit this center if they are looking for any Mazda cars.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Service manager Jim Schultz is extremely rude especially when it comes to warranty coverage. Friends don't let friends shop at Spreen I recommend going to any other Honda dealership. I also talked to the owner Jeff Spreen he was no help just a big prick who has no customer service experience.

A salesman called me to tell me that the car I wanted was on the truck and in route to the dealership.I went in and did my credit check and was approved for the promo rate. My payment was then calculated including all taxes, destination fee etc. for 60 months. I signed the deal and then it went to the sales manager. The sales manager spit it back and said he could not sell the vehicle to me without adding $12000 worth of window tint, security system, paint and fabric protection etc. (Plus a $5000 markup). Keep in mind this car is on the truck still. I argued directly with the sales manager and Jeff Spreen for quite a while and was told that I had to purchase all the extras because they were already ordered for the vehicle.I ended up buy the car at a competing dealership for $1000 below MSRP.

Been to different car lots in the past month and the only reason why this one is different is because of the customer service. Staff is all friendly, didn't make you feel like a transaction. Danika helped us out and showed us all the cars we did and didn't want to see just to give us a bigger variety and options. I went to Spreen Honda to buy my first car and right when I stepped into the lot Danika was prompt at walking out to greet herself. She was so outgoing, nice, and educated about the 2016 Honda Civic. She had a very good vibe and I was comfortable with her. Danika got us in the car for a test drive and I fell in love with it!! She sold me on the car with-in the first 15 mins. My visit with spreen Honda was horrible. I was lied to by your team leader Johnathan Denton and was told that my bank (Arrowhead Credit Union) didn't approve me for a loan when in all actuality he never even ran it through my bank which I requested. I did get approved from another bank but at a rate and monthly payment I was not willing to pay. So I proceeded to go to Arrowhead Credit Union to see why I was declined because I was never told a reason why I was declined just that three lenders wouldn't approve my loan. I was told from my bank that there were no inquiries from Spreen Honda on my credit report. So spreen Honda lied to me when they said arrowhead credit union declined my loan request when they never even ran it through. So I proceed to get approved from arrowhead credit union and go back to spreen to let them know what had happened and how I felt what they did was wrong and dishonest. Yet I still wanted to purchase the vehicle after everything that has happened. when I went back to spreen and requested to speak to a general manager, I waited for 30+ minutes for sales manager John Awabdy to come speak to me about the situation. He did apologize about the situation but never did he say what can I do to get you in this vehicle. Isn't it your job to make the customer happy? All he was saying was how he was $547 in the negative on the vehicle already and he could not sell it to me for the price that kbb had suggested was the retail value of the vehicle. He said someone will buy the car for the price we have and basically he didn't care. He basically just blew me off and didn't care about my business. Never once was he trying to a accommodate me for the mistakes that his team made and try to sell me the vehicle. I felt very mistreated from the people at spreen (with the exception of the salesman Carl)and felt like I was nothing to them. You have customers personal information and your team was dishonest about what lenders are approving or declining customers application. What else are they dishonest about? I spent nearly 6 hours of my day to get treated with dishonesty and disrespect. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experience. I have been a customer of spreen for many years and now I will never ever be one again. I will take my business somewhere else were I can be treated with great customer service and not be lied too and feel like I don't even matter.

I had a good deal for EX-Honda Civic 2015. It's a good price for leasing and the customer service was good. The Sales person, Fernando, gave me a call two days after I got the car just to follow up if everything was okay, which is a nice after-sales approach . This dealership uses its false email pricing to lure customers in by constantly stating they don't quote final out the door prices over the phone to "supposedly" protect the customer, but in reality it's to get you to the dealership under false advertising and then sell u something else because the car u wanted "just sold in the hour". It's a complete scam they are running here with so many uneducated incompetent stages of employees. I was in the market for a Honda Accord hybrid base model. They sent me an email with a ridiculously low price. Fine print said quote did not included destination charges or dealer installed add ons. I asked the rep on the phone Kendra to give me the numbers over the phone since the dealership was 2 hours away. She insisted it was their policy not to give numbers over the phone. The quote being almost 4k less then all other dealers I couldnt let the deal pass so I went to the dealership. I filled out the finance application online on my drive. Called Kendra an hour out that I was on the way. She stated that my application was approved and I should come on down. When I get there I'm told Kendra is just a phone operator and the other who is going to help me is Lara, who doesn't even ask me what car I am here to see just asks what color I want. Which I thought was a stupid question since they only had one available. She comes back after walking around the parking lot pretending to look for the car to tell me "that the car was sold in the morning". I got upset and said why was Kendra selling me a car only and hour ago if the car was sold in the morning. She then runs to her manager and returns 15 minutes later to tell me "no the car was actually sold an hour ago". Needless to say she starts pitching me another car. A 10k more car. And then she said she would try and get a car from Another dealer when I said that's the only make and model I wanted but she knew she couldnt get that car from another dealer at the ridiculous price the dealership quoted me and so She now was stuck and couldn't deliver on the fake price quote and that's when every time I asked a question she ran to the manager and made me Wait 20 mins for an answer. Finally she told me that I might as well go to the other dealers in Southern California to get the car i wanted since I already knew which ones had the same car. Like don't u think I would have gladly done that... Except every dealer I showed their quote to said there was no way they could Match that price because they would loose about 4k for that deal. Lara was dumb as a rock and started getting frustrated because I was more informed than her. After wasting 6 hours of my life these people could careless that they got caught scandalously. This whole dealership is a fraud and Honda should be ashamed having these people represent them. I will report this to BBB since these kinds of nasty tactics are no longer they way to do business. And don't fall for their pitch about this being a no commission dealership and that's why the sales people aren't pushing... The truth is they have morons after morons on their front lines probably making minimum wage and they just don't wanna hire qualified educated people for this job and that's why they can't pay commissions. These people don't know a single thing about the cars... Just ask a question u willSee them run to the manager for the answer. It's really a shame!

Out of all the dealerships I visited in Southern Cal, this place is hands down one of the highly recommended dealerships I strongly suggest. Their staff and sales consultants, such as Mr. Victor Corona, answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. They were not pushy to selling me a specific vehicle, but instead provided me with options to fit my needs and more importantly, my budget. From the moment we met her, Jessica's friendly, low-key personality put us at ease and ready to buy. She came across as a veteran car salesmen, so we were quite surprised to hear that she had only been on the sales floor for two months. She was attentive and helpful without being pushy--a born master of what used to be known as "the soft sell." In about two hours, we got out of there in our brand new Subaru at a price below Kelly Blue Book value. My grand daughter needed to buy her first car and had already been in talks with another dealership. I did a little research to make sure she was getting the best deal possible. Spreen Honda was part of my research. To make a long story short, she provided the price quote from the first dealer and (as I had already recieved a price quote from Spreen) told my grand daughter to go to Spreen. I told her she would get a better price and in my opinion, Spreen Honda's professionalism, along with a long 30 year record of doing business in the community, made them a better choice. This is the only dealership where I spent the least time. Very efficient. Brandon took extra effort to explain the various functions of the car. I will definitely buy more cars from Spreen Honda. I I bought many many cars , about 30 plus in the past 40 years and most of the time I spent 4-5 hrs aT the dealer before I can drive the car away . A REALLY BAD AND INSULTING EXPERIENCE: Knowing the model I wanted, I went on Truecar.com to find a fair price for that vehicle. Spreen quoted just slightly higher than the price of two other nearby dealers given to me. Spreen was the closest, so I went there and told them that the other dealers were slightly lower. Spreen said they would match the lowest price, so I bought the car, thinking I got a good and fair deal. Then, to my surprise, the very next morning, I received an email from Spreen guaranteeing to sell me that car for $1,082 less than I just paid them. Later, during the day, I got another email and 2 or 3 phone calls from various Spreen employees congratulating me, and wanting to be sure that I was happy with the deal I made. I told them I was very unhappy, insulted and why I was, but heard nothing back from anyone all day. I then wrote an email to Jeff Spreen. The next day I got a phone call from Tony who listened to my story, but told me they were stuck with our deal and couldnt help me in any way. Brandon Shaw was the kind gentleman who initially assisted myself and my daughter in a difficult situation. He was patient, courteous and did not make promises he could not deliver in order to make a sale. My daughter had a vehicle that was pretty much broken down and she still owed 16000 on it. I was able to turn the vehicle in as is and purchase a Honda Civic LX with a low down. They kindly towed our car to the dealership. I was there a few hours, but our situation was complex. Throughout the day, even the gentlemen in finance (cannot remember their names!) were honest and up front with us. They gave us options and let us decide. I am very happy with their service and would buy from this dealer again. Her payment ended up being almost 40 less than she had been paying. Thank you again, gentlemen!!

General Manager "Owner" wrote us an offer with lots of incentives. Guess what? Not really.We called to ask if there were specific models in stock - "Yes! There are three colors!" Guess what? Actually did not expect to buy a new car at the price Vu Tonthat quoted over the internet. Really just thought that I would check out the car I was considering and leave. I made an appt. for noon and got parked at a work station for close to an hour before actually being shown the car. I looked at it and liked it and we drove it for 15 minutes. I got parked back at the work station for another hour and a half. I decided to leave and come back when they were less busy. Finally someone came out with a ridiculously high quote, and I said no way. After another 30 minutes the price negotiator came back, with another quote for 20 dollars a month more than the original online quote. I accepted it and spent the next 45 minutes waiting some more and eventually signing the paperwork forms. I left with a new car and except for all the waiting around it was better than going to the dentist. This is not a negative review at all. Elena Trujillo was a very good sales lady. Even though the color car i wanted was not at the dealer we still still made the deal. Unfortunately the car took longer to arrive then we were told, but Elena as a good agent, did her best to acomodate my needs and was able to provide me with the color car i wanted as soon as possible. This dealership wasted 2hours of our time to close a deal. The paper work got messed up so we went back to get it fixed. An hour later we were asked to come back again because the finance manager Derek or Veronica messed up again. At this point we had it. Refusing to go back for the 3rd time, they sent someone to my house to get paper work completed. Time came for a part to be installed on my car as agreed to with Veronica The due bill was no where to be found in the car. A supposingly nice gentleman who turned out to be my worse nightmare called Derek in the service department helped me. He used his own Will and Power to complete a service on a car I make payments on without communicating with me the customer. For an hour I sat and waited, being pregnant and tried u felt asleep. He comes smiling and tells me he is done. I get home got some rest and looked over the paper. Being that I m a woman and a bit clueless on cars, it took some research on Google to realize that the wrong thing was installed on my car. I immediately called them as to why that happened. Derek from service claimed he never heard of what I had requested for and that there was no due bill for my request. 30 minutes later I received a voice-mail from a lady called Jessica who confirmed that she found the due bill for what was agreed on. Why did Derek from service not homework right before installing something on my car and why didn't he even communicate with me as a customer. I have left Derek the finance Manger several messages and I m still waiting on his call. According to one of the ladies who helped me my car has the right installment but no it doesn't and there is physical evidence on the car. I have gone through all means to get this fixed and no one is trying to help.

I am a returning customer of Spreen Honda (having bought several cars from Spreen) and looking to upgrade our CR-V E-XL Navi to CR-V Touring couple of weeks ago. Vu Tonthat was helping us and he was very knowledgeable about the CR-V and tried to help us find the right one (none available then). Finally, after a week, he located couple of CR-V Touring (both 2WD and AWD). The price Vu quoted us was so incredible that we desired to get AWD instead of 2WD; no negotiating was necessary (beat all the internet pricing I had gotten) other than asking for better trade-in value and better financing term (Spreen was able to meet both).

I leased a Honda Accord for my sister from Spreen 3 years ago from a wonderful man Dennis. He has since retired so I worked with a few new people at the dealership on my last visit. I received an offer in the mail that seemed too good to be true, so I called and asked to verify the offer details. The sales woman I spoke with on the phone assured me the offer was valid so I made an appt to come into the dealership on Saturday. I confirmed that day by phone with her but when I got there she was with another customer. I got passed to two other people, finally working with Bik (who has won awards for customer service). I made an appt so that I wouldn't have to wait 30 minutes to do a test drive so this is the first experience of disappointing customer service. After a test drive, my sister and I decided to look into options to upgrade from the Honda Accord to the Pilot. I have $2k of equity in the Accord (due to low mileage and excellent care) but the dealer would not offer me that to keep me as a Spreen customer. Bik outright lied and said they couldn't pay $2k over the lease buyout because they could never sell the car for that much. I pointed out that they had the same model on the lot for $2500 more than my buyout, so either he outright lied or doesn't know his inventory. That was a minor blip. The next step was to fill out the credit info so that Bik could provide pricing. At this point, he spoke negatively about another rep who asked him a "dumb" question. They argued in front of us for about a minute - very unprofessional. After he collected my info and pulled my credit score (which is 800), the finance manager came in to present the numbers. This is where things went horribly wrong. For a $33k car, the purchase and lease amounts ranged from $600 per month on the low end up to $800 per month on the high end. I recently leased a $53k car from Audi and my payments are $600. I told them this and asked them how the Pilot could a higher monthly lease payment than a car $20k more expensive. They said it had to do with this special package that included window tinting, service and a few other inexpensive features. I wondered how these things could equate to $20k in value but of course they couldn't answer this. I asked about my finance rate since my credit score was very high and the offer I had was for 0% APR on a purchase, and they said my finance rate was 3.9%. I was surprised by this high rate and they said, well we can look to lowering it. So basically there was $20k worth of padding and an APR that was 3.9% higher than advertised/promised for a high-quality buyer. At this point, I was exasperated and told them I felt as though I was being taken advantage of, felt uncomfortable by their sales techniques and left the dealer. I wonder if they would have treated two men the same way. I will never step foot in that dealer again and advise anyone reading this to be very careful of your dealings with them.

Reasons not to by a used car from SPREEN : 1. Uncertified mechanics safety ALL cars!2. Half the cars are rusted because they came from snowing regions which means metal and rubber are aged drastically.3. They do minimum repairs and certify cars with less than 50% brake pad life.4. Customer service is not a priority and they are very unorganized.If you bought a car from SPREEN I strongly recommend a second mechanic to look through it.

Avoid it like the plague! I went there last night (drove almost 2 hours) with my wife to look at a car. They knew I was coming but didn't bother to clean up the car one bit. I had dirt stains on the seat and exterior. Even though I had a bank check and financing in hand Mario told me if he didn't get me to fill out a credit check form he would get fired on the spot. (Kind of shady) I specifically told them I had financing already and I did not want to have my credit checked. I had to say this about 10 times before they understood. Then once it came to talking about the price of the car I showed them their own carfax report for the car which showed it was worth nearly $1000 less than what they were asking but despite this they would not negotiate the price 1 cent, not 1. The manager hiding in his sales office didn't even come out. I think he just wanted to go home and get us out of there. But here is the greatest irony of all. 2 days later the price of the car magically goes down almost $1000 on the internet and then they have the nerve to email me about it, after not wanting tp budge a penny.... mind blowing. If you want to get a good deal on a car and good customer service, don't bother going to Spreen used Honda.

My Honda was bought at Spreen Honda in 2006. My Honda is paid off, so for years I get at least one letter weekly if not more from Spreen Honda trying to get me to buy another Honda or promise something ridiculous like $30,000 to bring in my car. I have called four times to ask that I get off the mailing list. Each time I called they said I was off the mailing list. The fourth time I called, a manager was suppose to call me back but never did. I am really surprised Spreen Honda gets away with wasting so much paper, and harassing their customers. I would never recommend Spreen Honda or go back for this reason.

Totally horrible experience. Scheduled a test drive, showed up to find the car dirty and without gas. Drove it, liked it, entered into a 3 1/2 hour negotiation with my pregnant wife and toddler starving and bored while they came back every 45 minutes to try to resell us on something we already turned down. At the end of it all they told us that someone else was also trying to buy the car and that regardless of driving 1.5 hours from LA to the scheduled appointment, driving the car first, and entering into negotiations with our loan already secured, that they were going to sell to the highest offer and I should really consider buying the upsell warranties and appearance packages. I wasn't willing to be played like that so they sold the car to the other party. They actually told me that this happened all the time and that selling to the highest bidder was just plain business!!! They didn't care that we were there for 4.5 hrs starving and miserable and offered no way of fixing the problem. I came here this past weekend after seeing an ad in the newspaper for a huge promotion Spreen Honda was doing. I was helped by Darin Fectzo, who was the nicest man ever! I knew what I was getting myself into with the whole buying car process which is like 5 hours, but Darin made it 100x easier to get through with his positive vibes, openness, and just great communication skills. He had great knowledge about cars and was very helpful during the entire process. I am happy that i had a car salesmen like Darin to help me through this process and for also giving me some great advice for myself; being a 20 year old buying her first car. THEY CALLED ME THE DAY I WAS GOING OVER TO CONFIRM THE APPT AND I SPOKE WITH SALESMAN (VU) WHEN I WAS ON THE WAY AND HE CONFIRMED THE CAR WAS THERE AND TO GO ON OVER TO CLOSE THE DEAL. WHEN I GOT THERE, I TEST DROVE A CAR, WHICH LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE THE ONE I HAD SEEN ONLINE, BUT AT THE END OF THE TEST DRIVE, I LOOKED FOR THE ODOMETER READING, AND IT HAD 20 THOUSAND MORE MILES THAN ADVERTISED. I TOLD THE SALESMAN THIS AND HE SAID HE MIGHT OF GOTTEN THE WRONG VEHICLE. THEY COMPLETELY IGNORED ME FOR THE NEXT HOUR OR SO AFTER THAT UNTIL ANOTHER SALESMAN CAME UP TO ME AND ASKED TO HELP ME. LONG STORY SHORT, THIS OTHER SALESMAN HAD ME LOOKING, WITH HIM, ALL OVER THE LOT FOR 1.5 HOURS TO THEN COME AND FIND OUT THAT THE CAR WASN'T EVEN THERE. THEY THEN, TRIED TO OFFER ME OTHER CARS, BUT I WAS LIVID BY THEN. AGAIN, I TRAVELED 3 HOURS, AND HAD MY KIDS WITH ME. IT WAS A WHOLE TRIP AND THEY COMPLETELY PLAYED ME AND LIED TO ME. IF YOU GO ON TO THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE, I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THIS HAS HAPPENED TO. APPARENTLY, THIS IS HOW THEY WORK JUST TO GET YOU IN THE DOOR.

I was looking for a car for my Daughter. I searched Cars.com and found a 2011 Ford Focus at Spreen Honda and printed it. I went to the Spreen Honda web site to find the same car and used the online live chat to make sure the car was still there. I was told Darin Fectzo would call me back, and he did. We made an appointment for the following day and the car was parked in front as promised for us to look at. We drove the car and liked it. The price I had printed was the price I paid! We purchased our 2014 Honda Pilot from John Awabdy at Spreen Honda in May. John was very helpful and knowledgeable. He made our car buying experience pleasant. The time involved from beginning to end was between two-three hours. Had we not popped into the dealership for a test drive an hour before closing, the process would have been even faster. John politely stayed late to take care of everything so we did not have to return the next day. We have had the opportunity to stop by Spreens service department and the service employees are pleasant and helpful as well. We are Honda fans this is our fourth Honda, the second purchased at Spreen. Additionally, we have owned three Acuras. I recommend purchasing a Honda from John A., at Spreen.

I got a quote from the online sales department (2013 Honda Fit) and then set up an appointment to see the car only to find out that the car was already sold when I arrived. All I was told was sorry about that by the sales manager and given an excuse that the sales rep didnt have access to the updated inventory information. After researching online for my dream car, the Spreen Honda dealership on Redlands Blvd. won hands down. Armed with my printouts I drove over to do battle. I had repeatedly be warned by well-meaning friends that car sales persons could be extremely pushy. Not true! A tall, smiling young man named Abner Soto was there to welcome me. He must have mistaken me for his grandaunt, because I was definitely treated like family. Abner chauffeured my husband and I around the entire lot in an air-conditioned car showing us what was available. I have a "bad leg" so I really appreciated the gesture. Of course, I spotted the car I was meant to buy. Abner took the time to show and explain every feature; exterior and interior. He did a fantastic job explaining all the high tech features on the dashboard. No question was too silly or too dumb to ask. When we finally started "talking numbers" his respectful demeanor did not change. The online quote which was substantially lower than the "on lot sticker price" was honored with no haggling. Needless to say, I am now the proud owner of a 2014 Honda Accord LX and thank Abner Soto for making it a delightful shopping experience. A special "Thank-you" goes out to Stephanie Smith, finance manager for 25 years with Spreen Honda, for making the last phase of buying a car stress free. Our experience to buy a new Honda Odyssey 2014 Touring Elite was consist of following 4 steps. Internet Price: I got a good price from Zach (their business developer on the internet) for Odyssey. Sales Person / Sales Department: We went to the dealership at 6:30 pm and Salesman John Awabdy met us. He helped us to buy the odyssey at the same price and same day and the color we were looking for. John is very hardworking and good salesman. we ended up our transaction at 12:00 am in the morning and John was side by side during that time. He also helped us in to get very competitive financing rate from Honda Financing. I recommend John Awabdy for his good services. Finance Department: In the Finance department Mr. Peet was very nice and cool even in way after hours. Later on we transferred the loan to our credit union for little better interest rate. Note: As we went to the dealership at 6:30 pm, though we got the color we were looking for, which is hard to find some time but I would recommend to get the car in the day light. The van was pretty dusty and needed a good detail. Service Department: Mr. Jim "the manager" was very nice and mature guy but I think he needs to look at their customer service reps and also workers in the workshop. They didn't detail the van properly at the first time and then I went again for complete detail and for installation of $600 accessories. Their job was so so and also poor and rude dealing. They worked on the car for 4 hours and they didn't offer courtesy car for free and charged a day as rental. We purchased a van of 46 grand and they can't offer a loaner car for free. This is a difference between luxury cars like Acura and Lexus as compare to Honda and Toyota. I have asked them to fix the moon roof rubber which they couldn't and just told me these things are common on such vans ..............starange :). Instead they service department put two tiny hard marks on the wind shield right in front of the driver, which is pretty sad. Let see how it goes down the road with service department. I think they can earn more money if they improve their service quality. In the end nothing is ideal in this world. We are happy and thank GOD and we are also thankful to spreen honda and their overall services. God Bless Spren Honda.

I had been to Spreen Honda in Loma Linda in the past to get my sisters 2010 accord serviced. However, after that experience I said to myself I would never go there again or recommend anyone to this dealer. I have had a change of heart since, thanks to the great, awesome service from Bik the sales consultant and John Awabdy, the Sales Manager. It was the fastest and easiest car purchase I had ever made. We told them what we wanted and within minutes the sale was final. It was great. Drove from way out of town for a supposed good deal on a New Honda and was promised by internet sales manager that numbers agreed upon would not change and be a no hassle deal. Right from the start they lied- I was asked to pay 300 dollars for a set of lug nuts on the car that are available from any other Honda dealer for 45?- when I inquired about the "Mandatory Option" the Manager MATT HUMPHRIES stated that THEY ARE NOW GOING UP TO 500 DOLLARS -for Lug nuts? Really dude! Well I had already wasted 4 hours at the dealership and had my credit run so decided to still move forward with the deal since I did not want waste any more time than I had already had. I was getting ready to leave the dealer in the New car with my wife in the passenger seat as the salesperson was helping thanking us when the Manager came knocking on the window of the car to tell us the contract was written wrong and we needed to write another one for a higher payment???? I was just SHOCKED. When asking the Finance Director STEPHANIE SMITH what had just happened- her response was: "DO YOU WANT TO BUY THE CAR OR NOT? WE ARE ALREADY LOSING MONEY ON THE SALE"........Really lady as an informed buyer I think not- This is customer service? So I am supposed to feel beat up by the SPREEN Management for getting a deal- and also have to get yanked out of a car that I just signed a contract for because of an error on the dealers part.......I WALKED!!!!!! Well I hope the good people AMERICAN HONDA READ THIS- THIS IS HOW YOUR GOOD NAME IS BEING REPRESENTED. By the way although I have bought and owned three Honda Accords in my life - I am leaving this Brand and moving to a more respectable brand...Sorry HONDA you lose a lifelong customer.

I actually came in to Spreen Honda to get my 2011 Honda serviced before my family took a big road trip. Two months prior to this visit, I had received several phone calls and messages from Spreen wanting to buy my car. So while I was waiting for my car to be serviced I decided to go talk to Elisa and John A about these calls and see what "great offer" they had for me. Because quite honestly my family was pretty satisfied with the Honda we already had. My intentions was to ask them to remove me from the calling list. Well, as I talked with Elisa, she found the exact car that I wanted if I were to trade in my older car, and it was there at the dealership, straight off the truck. John A gave us his best offer first off, (which was in our eyes a great offer). So there was no hassle or no dancing around the price. He really took care of us. And when all was said and done, he was able to get our monthly payment lower that our current payment. We really appreciate John A. straight forwardness, and truly understanding us as customers. I told him straight up that I really wasn't planning on buying a car today, but just wanted to see the offer and how the numbers would end up. He took the time to get some numbers together, and didn't "blow us off" because we didn't have intentions of buying a new car. When my husband and I saw what Spreen had to offer for us to upgrade into a 2014, it was a no brainer for us. We couldn't be more excited to own a new Honda, especially with the bumper to bumper coverage as well as the Honda service package for the next 5 years. Spreen, because of this great experience, you will get our families business for years to come. We will be recommending Spreen to all of our friends and families that are looking for a new car. And icing on the cake, is that Spreen is a local business to our city of Loma Linda. If I have questions I don't have to drive for miles down the freeway to get to the dealership. We just get in the car and drive down the neighborhood. That goes same with having to get the new car serviced. I don't have to plan a whole day trip to a dealership. I also have to mention that Stephanie took great care of us in the Finance department. She answered all of our questions and was quick. And another person to mention would be Rick in service. When I originally dropped off my van to have it serviced he is the one who always greets me out in the driveway with a smile. He always answers my questions, and is honest to what service is needed for my car. He doesn't suggest items that are really not needed. The worst ignorant, disrespectful employee was Mehmood Sheikh. He told us not to give him an attitude and not to tell him how to do his job when he was trying to force us to finance through the dealership. STAY AWAY!

I have been here in the past, my brother, boyfriend, and I have all bought a car from Spreen and now 2 for me. Frank Lopez and James Powers provided us with excellent service. I drove from the Mojave desert about 2 1/2 hours away and because of my work schedule I couldn't get out there until Friday and they stayed 2 hours past their shift to make sure I was able to trade in my 2007 Honda Civic and drive away with a brand new 2013 Honda Civic with a great price. Elena Trujillo is the one who initially followed up with me prior to the sale to let me know about the very good end of the year prices for a new 2013 vehicle. Thank you very much for making this experience a great one! I definitely recommend this dealership, they have really have the best prices in the valley and the southern coast.

I have been coming to Spreen Honda 2 years after I purchased my 2006 Honda Accord from Rock Honda of Fontana over 7 years ago. Spreen Honda has always done right even when their employees have a made major insulting mistake. I have only had minor repair completed (oil change, light bulbs replaced, fluid check, and etc) at Spreen Honda since Rock Honda attempted to take me for a spin over 5 years ago. Spreen Honda almost lost my business when one of their Express Lube employee's insulted my husbands intelligence by arguing with my husband that my Honda Accord did not have a serpentine belt as it was a timing belt. Of course my husband, a heavy equipment mechanic, argued back and finally just shrugged it off because the pathetic little man would not listen. We left my car for the usual oil change, came back, paid and left. Almost home I noticed that my oil life was still at 5%. Now, I was HEATED!!!! Went back and my husband, who does not usually become upset, demanded to speak with a manager. Of course, all the regular service adviser's came out and inquired to the problem. My husband explained the argument earlier with the little man as well as not making sure all was taken care of with the car before leaving. Then Jim, the service manager I believe, walked outside and inquired to the problem and stated he would take care of all the problems. He fixed the oil life information and stated he would make sure to address the little man, since my husband was not only right but the little man should not have argued with my husband at all. Jim, as well as the other advisers, were apologetic and Jim put a free oil change on my account (I used it 4 months later, he kept his word). Well, I kept returning to Spreen and never had another problem. However today was even better than usual. Called service dept and spoke with Rick. Husband informed him my car needed the following replaced: serpentine belt, oil change, ALL fluids flushed; head lights revitalized, tires rotated, and any other minor service. Jim priced quoted us and provided 10% off. The price would be under $700. Perfect as my perfect car has 130K miles on it and needed a little lovin' (I LOVE MY CAR!!) Get to Spreen and meet Rick. See a "#1 service adviser" cup on his desk and of course have to hassle him to make sure to take care of me. He said he would. Well, when you have a major service work worth over $300, Spreen Honda will give you a loaner car for a the time. I inquired and Rick informed me Enterprise was closed on Saturday, so he was unable to get me the car. He asked another service adviser about car rental and that guy was just rude (don't know name but must be related to little man) Of course, Rick was extremely apologetic; however, I of course told him he needs to turn the cup in for a "#3 service adviser". LOL But he was empathetic with us and seemed to care and attempted to assist us with a drive where we needed to go. We declined the offer, but dropped off the car for some needed lovin'. Rick said the car would be ready before closing at 5pm (it was 1230). Later, Rick calls and says the car is in great condition, but just needs to also have the back brakes replaced too. Of course, price is a bit high as my husband usually changes it for much cheaper, so we decline. Rick says the car will be ready soon than. Calls back in less than an hours and says car is ready. It was less than 2 hours and car was ready! Perfect!! We get there and greeted by Rick. He explains all details, and we go to the "damage counter to pay". I ask Rick, what the damages are and he states $575 for all the troubles with the loaner car. (Let's just say when we dropped off the car, we had to drive illegal and Rick felt bad when we left.) I was so happy to pay and saved almost $125...on top of the previous discount he was already going to give me! Rick, YOU ROCK!!!! We only buy our cars from Spreen and def only use Spreen Service Dept too. I highly recommend them, especially Rick!

I never like going to Dealership anymore since internet was all you need without talking to salesman, if you know what i mean...Just too much hassle they offer you all kind of sweet talk,soda , coffe and everything that will make you comportable, Anyway I went to this Dealership and met this guy John Awabdy mild spoken guy and told him I am interested with that Honda Pilot '07. I asked if I can test drive it? So we drove to the freeway and back. Next seating down and figuring out numbers is another step, He's pretty straigt forward and I am seriuos customer and We went back and fort with the numbers, He knows where the numbers coming from and explain it well, I was satisfied and buy that Pilot. I was prepared to drive 68 miles to Spreen on a Friday to view a CR-V. I spoke with a salesman who said the car was available and on hold for me and he would have it pulled up and ready when I got there. Right before I left, he called to let me know the car had been sold. Then he took my email address and promised to send me information other cars that were available. That never happened. Saturday, I test-drove an Insight at a different dealer but knew that the price was too high, and they wouldn't work with me. Sunday, I saw that there were still a few Insights within my budget, and I made sure they were there and that one in particular would be pulled around for me. That took awhile, trying to get ahold of someone and communicating via cars.com. But I was promised there were at least 2 Certified Used Insights that were available. I was ready to pay for the car in full and be done with the whole experience that day. When I arrived for my appointment, I waited a half hour to speak with a salesman. I found out that neither of the cars I was there to view were available- they had been sold the night before. This is information that the salespeople there should know BEFORE they promise to show someone a specific car. Because there is so much information online, including the CARFAX, it's easier to go into a dealership with something specific in mind. I wanted to hurry up and leave because I knew this dealer had nothing else listed in my price range and needs, and I needed to get back to LA and figure something else out. Thankfully, a salesperson, Ryan, talked me into checking out another Insight that had just been certified but not yet listed. He did the work to get me the same price as the other two Insights (although I really don't know why it was listed for so much more in the first place, as those two had less mileage and were EX models- the one he sold me was an LX in the same condition). This is the ONLY reason I stayed and went through the rest of the process, which was a nightmare. There was miscommunication between the salespeople, manager, financers, etc. EVERY single step of the process from that point on. At one point, it took two hours just to get ahold of someone in finance. I can honestly say that Ryan was the only positive aspect of my entire experience- God bless him for the work he did to help me that weekend! I can't honestly recommend this dealer, but I can say that if you do choose to go there, ask for Ryan Moody, and go into it knowing that you will need to double-check everything that is said, from the first step of the process to the last. This dealership has a lot of tightening-up to do.

I researched alot of dealerships to get the best deal and this place was by far the best priced and only dealership that did not pressure me into buying like most salesmen do. Like most people on this review panel I drove 55 miles but was worth the drive. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that the salesman really had NO KNOWLEDGE on the car I was buying and could not answer my questions about the vehicle since it was a Honda dealership and I was purchasing a Chrylser 300. The Manager was very straight up and to the point no going back and forth on price and I got my car $4,500 below blue book value so I was happy and ended up getting the extended warranty since I was already saving so much. The Finance lady Sharon was the best very down to earth and great personality made my buying experience re-assuring!!

My worst car buying experience ever. Used True Car to search for dealer quotes since I wanted a haggle free car buying experience. Since I had received the lowest quote from Spreen, they assured me that the quote was good and that they would sell me a car with no dealer add-ons or additional expenses (other than sales tax and lic/reg). They didn't have the color I wanted on site but said they had access to one and would bring it over once I was there in person.I called to verify that quote was for the car in the color that I wanted a NUMBER of times before driving the 50 miles to Loma Linda. But once I arrived I was told that they would honor the True Car quote ONLY if I buy the almost $4k in add-ons (a security system and the Finishing Touch exterior sealant). When I refused, they did offer to honor the quote but only for a car in a different color (one they had many of in stock). It was a total bait-and-switch tactic. I did not purchase a car from Spreen.

Bought a couple vehicles from this dealer, got rid of them rather quickly because this was an experiment for me since I had owned so many toyotas. What I learned was "if it aint broke, dont fix it" meaning, I should have stuck with TOYOTA. 1st honda, used accord needed $400 worth of work shortly after purchasing, work I had never heard of before, according to the service guy (whom interestingly enough drove a toyota as his personal vehicle). 2nd vehicle had serious wind noise as reported on edmunds.com. I immediatley went BACK to a toyota & was satisfied again. Experiment was a failure! Now I get nothing less than HARRASSED by SPREEN HONDA with marketing letters/phone solicitations, etc! I DO NOT RECCOMEND HONDAS & DEFINITLEY NOT SPREEN!

I took my 2004 Honda Accord in for service, a recall and some other maintenance that was recommended when I had the oil changed in July. A problem was found with the radiator and Brian Rhoades (Service Advisor) called and sent pictures of the problem. We had the recommended work done picked up the car that day and drove it home. In the evening my husband found radiator fluid on the floor of our garage. Talked with Brian the next morning regarding the problem. He had us call Direct Towing to pick up the car and take it to the dealership. A problem was found with the new radiator. So I would not be without a car for the day, a rental car was given to me. This was all paid for by the dealerships service department, the tow truck and rental car. My car was ready by the afternoon with no charge to me. I am so pleased with the service I have received from Spreen Honda!! I bought my Honda at Spreen and have had all maintenance done there. They have always gone above and beyond to keep me happy. Brian Rhoades has been very helpful as all the service advisors are at Spreen. Thank you Spreen Honda for your exemplary service once again.

My wife and I cannot say enough about Spreen Honda and our sales person Natalie. We walked in looking to buy an Accord Plug In Hybrid in a month or so and walked out with the car. Negotiations were not about "winning" but reaching an acceptable deal. I was offered a fair value for my trade in, which I accepted. Typically I would rather get a root cannel instead of buying a car but Spreen and Natalie made it painless. I will definitely be recommending both to friends who are in the market and will be returning when we are in need of another car.

This dealership is very unprofessional and deceptive. Went to buy a Honda Civic 2010 July 14 2013. After a test drive and checking out the car I asked the salesman (James M.) if he could swap the wheel coverings. The rims were rusted and my wife wanted different wheel covering. He ok'ed this with the promise of a full tank of gas and the car fax. Asked again 20 minutes later James M. said yes it was a done deal. We went to negotiate the price of the car and this man kept running back and forth between us and the sales manager Matt. Came back after the seventh visit to Matt office with a price that was about average with the other dealers in the area. Things changed dramatically when we offered to pay cash. James M. reneged on all of his earlier promises and treated us like we were criminals. He did offer to honor his promises if we financed. He said the sales manager was being a jerk that day and he had no options. We left. I find it hard after talking with some ex-customers of spreen that they would warrant a 5 star rating. Cross checking some of the names some of these happy 5 star raters are employees of Spreen. They play the game well. Beware of this dealer.

This was the best car-buying experience we have ever had. The response time to my email was speedy. My husband and I were dreading having to go to any car dealership in anticipation of a lengthy, exhausting, and exasperating negotiation. However, after reading the glowing reviews about the "no-pressure" business ambience at Spreen, we trooped down to Loma Linda with our young kids. THE GLOWING REVIEWS RANG TRUE! Our first impression was certainly positive, what with a Honda employee guiding my husband to park safely at a space. We were greeted by Daniel and directed to a spacious waiting area with a children's section which was clean, well stocked with books and toys and with a big screen TV. I opted to stay with the kids while my husband went to the lot. He said that Daniel showed him the vans he liked without voicing any sales pitches. After my husband picked an Odyssey he liked, Daniel brought it out of the lot and parked it in front of the office so that my kids and I could inspect it ourselves. It was followed by a test drive, again devoid of any sales talk/pressure. Daniel did all the legwork after that. He worked with our budget without pushing options; a "no, thank you" was simply accepted. Stephanie finished all the paperwork and explained their content concisely and in a friendly manner. We highly recommend Spreen Honda at Loma Linda and will definitely go back if we ever need another car. Thank you very much, Daniel and Stephanie!

We were prepared to drive an hour and a half with 3 kids to purchase a Honda Odyssey that we saw listed online. We called ahead and were told that the car was not 'ready' and needed to be detailed, tires changed, etc. (so why list it then??). We were discouraged from coming to see it and were told that we would not be able to take it home that day. They told us they would call us when we could see the car. An entire week later we received a voicemail from Jason on Friday afternoon stating that the car was now ready. We hopped in the car Saturday morning to again prepare for the drive out, and we called again to double check that the car was still there. Already on the road, we were informed that the car had sold Friday evening. We were prepared to buy the car last week and were turned away! Too bad, we were ready to pay cash and have excellent credit. I am very disappointed and frustrated with this experience.

On presidents day, I sent an email inquiry regarding a new 2013 Honda Accord coupe and the owner, Chet Spreen, contacted me within an hour. I was stupefied and highly pleased. Shortly after that, I got an email from Jason Coates from the internet department with a quote that was quite reasonable. While I liked the idea of working the deal through the internet, I ended up just driving down the same night just to see what could be accomplished in person.Earlier in the week, I ran into a lot of "games" and questionable business tactics at Honda Cars of Corona when I explained my situation of trying to get out a car that was still practically brand new (2012 Civic) and into the 2013 Honda Accord. At Penske Honda of Ontario, the guy wouldn't let me test drive the car on the freeway even though I have a valid CADL. At Rock Honda of Fontana, I got bombarded coming out of my car and the salesguy wanted to "escort" us around the lot. At Metro Honda, they were awesome! and nice! but couldn't meet my price demands. It was nuts when I walked into Spreen Honda on Presidents day. While I didn't get greeted immediately because it was like a circus in there - people running around everywhere! - when I did get acknowledged, the young man was very polite and apologized that we would have to wait. They also don't have a receptionist at the front (at least not that I saw!) I ended up getting approached by Ryan Moody not long after that - I briefly explained my demands (which weren't outrageous - just a bit of a stretch), we then went out to the lot. I pointed to the car I wanted (2013 white Accord sedan lx). I told him I did not want any other color and any other model and I did not want to waste any time. Then we went inside, he took my information, and it progressed from there. I must say, I was a little stunned at their first "offer" but I said no way, and the next offer that they brought satisfied me. I then went into finance and Todd patiently explained all of the "extras" to which I politely declined all. I shook hands with Todd and Ryan and I agreed to pick up the car and bring my trade (CIVIC) the next night since it was already well past their operating hours by that time.The next day, I brought the Civic as promised. He took the keys, brought it around next to my new car, and we moved all my stuff to the new car. They even have a special slanted parking spot right outside the dealership where they parked my new car. The lights were shining down on it, and I was able to make sure that it was cleaned properly and there were no scratches. My new car was immaculate. I also got a full tank of gas, and an hour long "delivery" with Ryan Moody where he explained everything about the car. He really took his time and did not seem to be in a hurry even though it was really late. I drove my car home that night in utter shock (such an easy transaction, no hiccups!) and a few days later I got a follow up call from Ryan congratulating me and he asked me if I had any questions, as the Accord has A LOT more features than the Civic. I actually ended up going back a week later and having Ryan explain more features to me that I forgot to ask about in the first delivery. I don't like writing reviews, but I am a tyrant when it comes to working a car deal and have hiiigh expectations and Chet, Ryan, Jason, Todd wowed me and this review is well deserved and overdue.

Went in with TrueCar quote in hand (a price that was untouchable by every other dealer), met with Elena, no bait & switch, no upselling, showed us all versions of what we wanted, let us make up our minds (zero pressure). She presented all options available, but again no pressure. A truely great car buying experience. Anybody in the market get the TrueCar quote go in with the price (check around no one will meet or beat it) and you will be pleasantly surprised (I was). Pricing and the personel made the 70 mile drive well worth while.

I spent 5 hours driving to the dealership and back, and spent two additional hours at the dealership waiting for follow-up by "upper management" to appraise the trade-in and finalize the sale of the new car. Best car buying experience ever. I received quotes from 6 different dealers trough PenFed/Truecar and Spreen's price was by far the best for a 2013 Honda Accord Touring. I live 50 miles from Spreen Honda and I did not want to make the drive there only to find out that they don't honor truecar quotes or force you to buy dealer installed options or extras. For that reason, I tripled checked with the dealer via email and they assured me that only TTL had to be added to the selling price. We arrived to the dealer early in the morning and finally meet our very professional an polite salesman Jason Coates. We test drove the car and loved it, however it was gray and we want black. Jason proceeded to check his inventory and found the exact same car we want arriving this week. We agreed to sign a purchase contract and just wait for the car to arrive. Jason couldn't be more professional and polite. We walked into his office, he offered beverages and really there was nothing much to discuss since the selling price was already agreed. He did very politely and with no pressure explained gap insurance, alarm, extended warranty and other options to which we politely declined. Then, We proceeded to the finance office where we were greeted by the Finance Director Derek. Again, he was very professional and presented all the information in a clear and precise manner and answer all of our questions. We signed all the documents and we are now waiting to pick up our new Accord any day this week. The whole process took less than one hour. We are very happy to have found this dealer and especially thankful to Derek and Jason for making this the best car buying experience ever. I have bought more than a dozen cars for me and my family in the last decade. I will be back soon to help my dad purchase a new pilot and look forward to deal with Jason. I would fly one hour to buy from Spreen but I'm glad is only one hour drive. I definitely recommend this dealer to anybody that wants to buy a good quality car and wants to save time and money. Do your self a favor and call Jason Coates at Spreen Honda. P.S. As far as the bad reviews, I honestly believe that those are posted by competitor dealers to make Spreen look bad. I really don't see how can somebody have a bad experience at Spreen Honda.

When I went to the dealer there were no surprises, everything was as stated in the quote. I received fair trade in value for my truck. They do try and sell you extended warranty and a few other items but there is no pressure to buy.Purchasing a new car should be a pleasant experience but seldom is. This was the the best time I have ever had buying a new car,I highly recommend this dealer.

Worst new car buying experience ever. I have purchased several new cars in the past years and this was by far the worst. The simple process of having my trade-in appraised was terrible. I was asked detailed and probing questions just for the appraisal. It was obvious my credit was being checked. I had a confirmed offer from another dealer and all I wanted to know was if Speen could meet or beat that offer. After selecting the new car I wanted and agreeing to the price several thousand dollars of options were added and had to threaten to leave on several occasions before the options were removed. Asking me if I was interested in the options is one thing, but automatically adding them to the contract and having to fight to have them removed is unacceptable. Will never buy from Spreen Honda again.

Spreen Honda reported many problems with my CRV which did not existed. More over they failed to tell me about major broken belt which almost caused car accident. The new mechanic who repaired the belt said the battery (one of the things they said was bad) was absolutely fine and did not need replaced.

My very large extended family and my immediate family as well have always been Honda-buyers and have always been dedicated to being return customers. We have always gone to the same Norm Reeves Honda in West Covina and have bought at least 15 Honda's all together in the past 20 years. With that said, we went to do the same for my mom again a week ago. As someone who runs headquarters for an interior design firm myself, I am no stranger to making sure great customer service is priority but I also know the importance of repeat business. I refuse to ruin this review by speaking more about how horrible Norm Reeves is rather then telling you how amazing Spreen Honda is but I had to give you that back story so that this would make sense....I wrote an email to Spreen and got a very quick response from James Powers. I was surprised at the quick response and also at how personable he was. For a week straight (since we were not able to go to a dealer to actually shop for a car until that coming Saturday) James and I communicated and he was informative and honest about what deals the could get us. In the midst of this week-long relationship with James, the salesman from Norm called me as well, trying to recover what he lost a few days prior as we walked out extremely unimpressed by their tactics. I let him know that I'd rather drive from Newport Beach to Loma Linda because the customer service has been amazing and I've never even met James or anyone at Spreen. This Norm Reeves guy tried to make more empty promises but I basically told him to lose my number since he lost an entire clan of future Honda buyers. On Saturday -after a very stress-free week of communicating with James Powers, we showed up to the Loma Linda dealer and within a couple hours bought a very nice Honda at a very nice price. Mom loves her car! I have to say that I do have to be blown away to actually take time and yelp about something and well.....James Powers blew us away......we also met the owner to let him know how awesome our experience was and he was very nice as well.We left Spreen Honda talking about how awesome our experience was.....James made us feel like family, took care of my mom as if he would his own. If you want to buy a Honda, go see James!!! My husband and I will both be visiting him at some point as well ...not to mention the word of mouth I will be spreading around town.After 20 + yrs, Norm Reeves lost us to a dealer that blew them out of the water. I am SUPER impressed and thank you again to James for OUTSTANDING service

We went in with an online quote ready to purchase the vehicle. The vehicle was not on the lot & we were told we had to wait a week to get it but we were more than welcome to give them our money while we waited. After being ignored for an hour because the manager called a meeting, Fiinally a third salesman came out to tell us that they no longer were willing to let us use a used car while we waited for the Accord to arrive to the lot. The salesman only came out because we had gotten up to leave after being ignored for over an hour--we were the only customers in the place mind you.

My sales person was Dennis Anderson and he was very professional. Even the Finance Manager Pete Mattern was low key and I usually hate that part of buying a car. I just took my vehicle in aug 13 2012. 2 months prior in June I had about 600$ worth of work done on my 2006 accord. There was a service w/ the serpentine belt recommended that I did not do at that time in June. So now in aug my check engine light comes on. I took it in to spreen Honda next day and told them the situation. They were going to check my vehicle again to see what the issue was they did say that the sepertine belt would not cause check engine light to come on but that was only thing they recommended in June when I had pay for all the service being done. So they were going to charge an additional 50$ to even check my vehicle even though it was just in 2 months prior. I was pretty upset so I called another Honda dealership. I called rock Honda in Fontana. They were super nice and said bring my vehicle in they will not charge me and see what the issue is. So I asked for my vehicle back at spreen Honda and went over to rock Honda. They checked my vehicle found out what the issue was and fixed the problem. I asked how the serpentine belt was and they said that was in good condition and didn't need to be fixed. So basically spreen Honda was ripping me off and wanting to charge me for additional work that didn't need to be done. I'm very unhappy w/ spreen Honda and will never go back and will never suggest that dealership to anybody. They lost my business and were not loyal to me so now rock Honda has gain my business. I highly suggest rock Honda in Fontana. Not only did they fix the problem... They gave me a discount for someone else screwing up and they washed my vehicle. I hope this review helps those looking for an honest loyal dealership. FYI I am a single parent and I just don't want to see anyone get screwed the way I did financially. Please be mindful and really try to find that honest loyal dealership who will not rip you off and help your vehicle run like brand new. Again I highly suggest rock Honda in Fontana.

I had a very pleasant experience working with those at Spreen Honda. It started off with a great (awesome) internet price quote for a Honda CRV EX-L. I then filled out a very short credit application and requested a lease quote. The lease terms were very good so I set up an appointment to sign on the dotted line. Everyone that I interfaced with was cordial and knowledgeable. I didn't get the usual "can you afford this amount?" type of sales method. They did have a pretty low inventory of CRV's -- I'd guess it's because of their low prices. They located the exact model and color we desired and will be picking it up in a day or two. We highly recommend Honda Spreen.

I have received a trucar quote on a 2012 Honda Odessey Touring Elite for 250$ below Invoice price ($40537.66) From spreen honda, which is exactly 95 miles from where I live. Hoping to save my self the drive called on local dealers to match this price, instead of expressing their inability to match the price, they went on ranting and bad mouthing Spreen Honda. They claimed that Spreen was very unethical and was purely a bait and switch operation, This got me quiet worried about driving 2 hours north and getting nothing. The price difference from local dealers to Spreen was about 1500, I even offered to pay a little more than spreens offer, so I could avoid the drive, but local dealers were arraogant and their attitude made me take the risk of driving up north for 2 hours and take a chance.My effort was well worth it, There was no switch and bait, there was no upselling of accessiceries, no pressure, none at all.It took a while to process the paperwork and get the car prepped, but I was back on raod with the new car in two hours, I have not had to pay a penny more than what I received as quote from Spreen through TrueCar.And here is the list of liersPoway HondaClaimed that they had a employee from Spreen who told them all about Spreen's unethical practices and that Spreen was about to lose their Honda dealership.Their best price was 2500$ over Spreen's price.Poway Honda's mud slinging on Spreen Honda legally is slander, I have offred to testify for spereen if they chose to sue Poway Honda.Honda of Lemon GroveThese guys were a lot better than Poway Honda, price over $1250 on Spreen but tried to sell "pro pack". When I showed her the email trail with the VIN number of the car, she claimed that a car with that VIN number did not exist as she could check with honda and Spreen was gaming me. Now who is the lier and who is unethical?Bottom line is these local san diego dealers instead of competeing in the free market, are resporting to slander and cheating potential customer by spreading lies about compitetion.By the way, every employee, I delt with at Spreen, Vu, Jay, Justin, Albert, all were very polite and friendly.

I never expected buying a car could go so well. I was not comfortable with my local dealer (Wesoloh). He asked on the phone how much I wanted to pay- I told him- he said come on down. When I got there he could not sell me the car for that price... I got my new Civic for even less at Spreen. Daniel the internet sales manager gave me a quote by email... and honored it. When I got there... we didn't even discuss price. This made for a great buying experience. I always buy my new cards on a credit card to get mileage points and then pay the car off with my home equity line of credit so that the interest is tax deductible. Spreen Honda refused to let me put the whole amount on my credit card and then sold me a loan that they promised could be paid off with a credit card. It was a lie. Honda finance refuses to except credit card payments. Don't believe anything this dealership tells you.

I live 7 hours away from this dealership, but they had the car I wanted. On wednesday I had a relitive drive the car for me. He said get it! on thursday I called to see if it was still available and it was, so I drove 5 hrs that night. on friday I called again to be sure it was still available, the sailesman on the phone said he would call me back because he wanted to physically look to see if the car was there. He called back and said that it was. so I made an apointment to see it, and started to drive the next 2 hours, while in route the sales Manager called me to confirm that I was coming and that he would have the car ready for me, he greeted me with a handshake and a smile and intrduced me to another sales person who would show me the car, only she couldn't find the car. it seems that they couldn't sell the car so they sent it off to auction. I said I just talked to a salesman and a Manager 2 hours before and they both said the car was there. but they couldn't find it or bring it back from auction. The manager walked off and avoided me. and now 3 days later the car is still listed forsale here on the internet.

By far the absolute best car buying experience I have EVER had. The dealership had a very comfortable feel, not stuffy like I was used to. I told them exactly what I wanted and walked out with ALMOST exactly what I had asked for. I never felt at all pressured or taken advantage of. My while experience, beginning to end took just over 3 hours, which I didn't mind at all. The least car I bought took much longer than that even though they had me believing the deal was already set up online as I asked. I haf one minor minor issue with the car, which they IMMEDIATELY took care of. I stumbled into this dealership kind of on a fluke, and I am do glad I did. I'll never go anywhere else. Thank you guys again!!!

I purchased my new INSIGHT EX at DCH Honda of Temecula one week after my experience at Spreen Honda, and was able to get the price I wanted for my trade and a great price on the car. My experience with Spreen Honda was a disaster from the get go. I work as an accountant, and I know the intricate details of a lease contract and how they work. First off, Spreen Honda would only pay off my trade (2006 Ford Taurus SEL in excellent condition with 110,000 miles)which was about $1800. When I was finally able to negotiate the Kelly Blue Book trade in value ($3,800) for my car, I was suddenly told they had mistakenly used last years lease rate (.00011) or .26% to calculate my payment instead of the current lease rate of (.002) or 4.8%. If they were using the lease factor they claimed they mistakenly used, my lease payment should have been around $180/month instead of the $266/month they quoted me. Once they calculated the correct lease factor, the payment jumped to $304/month. Dishonesty abounds, and all this after my wife and I sat in the showroom for over two hours waiting to work out a deal. As an apology for NOT WILLING to make a deal and making us wait and wait in the showroom, we got a $25 Target gift card. When I got home, I re-ran my figures and came to the realization that Spreen Honda was rolling the equity of my trade ($2,000) back into the lease price of the vehicle. As an executive at the GM assembly plant in South Gate, my father did alot of business with Bob Spreen back when the Spreen family owned a Cadillac dealer in Downey. It's very sad to see what has become of the Spreen family business after my experience. Spreen claims to have never lost a deal over price. Well, not only did they lose my business, they've lost a customer for life.

After years of bad experiences with this dealer, it was out intent to just look and purchase elsewhere. However,Steve Douglas was an excellent salesman, went beyond the call of duty to answer all of our questions or get us the answer. There was none of the 'usual car salesman' act that is a huge turn off; just straight talk and lots of effort. His sales mgr, Rick and Pete in finance were equally helpful and very customer service oriented. In fact, it was a total 360 degree difference in our past experiences. Clearly they have started paying attention to customer service issues. Steve Douglas was just exceptional. We were his first sale and we couldn't have been happier to be just that. Funny Thing: what struck me as odd, is that Steven was the only one wearing one of those blue Helpful Honda Dealer blue shirts, the rest wear wearing black hoodies and I actually felt a little intimidated by all the gang types hanging around the dealership (Hey if I've gotta register to submit a review, I may as well be honest here). I hate wasting time at a dealership and Steven and Derek made my experience a good, quick one. Price rated 3, because it was an acceptable deal, but price was not the primary reason I was there. My husband is in the military and we just returned to the States after being stationed overseas for 3 years. We used our financial institution to locate Honda dealerships that were participating in on-line sales with our particular bank. The base that we are stationed at is in a remote location where the nearest Honda dealership is approximately 90 miles away. My husband had been communicating with Vu (the on-line salesperson) all week and we were pleased with the quote that we received. We had secured a pre-approved loan prior to searching for the vehicle. So with the dealership check in hand we made the 90 mile trip to buy the car. When we arrived we were greeted by Shane, the salesperson, and after learning that we had been communicating with Vu and we were serious about buying, he ushered us in to begin the paperwork process. He started by highlighting a form and asking us to fill it out. He stated that it was "the law" and that the government needed to know where the money to buy the car was coming from. We noticed that the form that he wanted us to fill out was a credit application. We had explained to him at the beginning of our paperwork process that we had a check and that we would not need to finance the car. He insisted that we complete the form even though we had a check "because I don't have any other forms" to input the information in the computer. My husband filled out the form but did not write in his social security number or sign it. Shane then put some of the information in the computer and then went off to speak to another co-worker. The co-worker (I forgot to write his name down) came to speak to us and he explained that it was their company policy to obtain the information that they were requesting. I explained to him that we had a check from our financial institution and that they would not need to run a credit check since we were not financing the vehicle. He then replied that they (Spreen Honda) would need to contact the financial institution in order to ensure that the check was valid. I explained that our bank had representatives available 24 hours a day and that it would not be a problem. My husband even called a representative from our bank (United Services Automobile Association or USAA) so that Shane and his co-worker could speak to her. Needless to say, they disappeared for a few more minutes and never spoke with her. They returned with some figures for the car, but when we compared them to the figures that we had come up with, they did not match. We had already calculated tax, title, license, as well as document fees using the California DMV website and the final price that they quoted us was over $300.00 more than our calculation. After a few more minutes (which totaled over 2 hours of wasted time) of watching our salesperson input stuff into the computer and then get up and talk to his co-workers, they finally said that we could complete the sale in finance. They said that the total could be fixed once we got to the finance office. Once we got into the office, Mike, the finance manager, again attempted to have us fill out the credit application. He told us that it was company policy and that we would not be able to take possession of the vehicle until they ran our credit. My husband called USAA once again and the representative tried to explain to Mike that the loan approval letter and dealer electronic check should have be sufficient. She had explained to my husband and me that the dealership would be given a tracer for the electronic check and that it would be proof that the money was in the bank. The whole time that we were in the finance department another co-worker named Derek would poke his head in (from the office next door) and tell us that they needed to make sure that we were who we said that we were and that we would not be able to take the vehicle home that day unless they ran our credit. I then asked Derek if we left the check, once it cleared were they willing to deliver the car to us so that we would not have to drive another 90 miles and he said no. Mike was not willing to listen to what our bank representative was saying. He went so far as to tell us that we could leave. So that is exactly what we did. In the end we wasted over 3 hours with them. If they had initially told us that we would not be able to take possession of the car without a credit check, we would have left immediately. We contacted the USAA online vehicle purchasing program agent to give a formal complaint against this particular dealer. I notified them that I would be filing a formal complaint with USAA so that they can warn other military members about the potential scam that Spreen Honda is attempting. I also plan on filing a formal complaint with the Honda Corporate office. I understand that Spreen Honda is concerned with getting paid for the vehicle before it leaves the lot, but in my opinion they "low-balled" us with the attractive price in order to get us in the door. They then attempted every tactic in order to finance us so that they could get what they could out of us. When they realized that we had done our homework and that we would not give in, they knew that they had to get rid of us somehow. The price that they had originally quoted us was too good to be true. As stated earlier, my husband and I had just gotten back from a tour overseas so we needed a vehicle, cell phones and a place to live. We are contemplating buying a house and would not allow unnecessary credit checks to be run. At the beginning of the process, Shane, the salesman, said that since we were a military family he was going to give us the best deal possible. If this is the best deal that Spreen Honda can give a military family we will be sure to pass on (to other military families in the area) what kind of deal we received from this dealership.

I visited Costa Mesa and Westminster Honda here in Orange County. What a joke the lots were not busy on the 29th and 30 of December for a reason, price. These guys acted like they were doing me a favor in selling a car. I went online and Vu emailed back in an hour or so and continued to answer my questions till 11PM. I had to go to bed. I tried one more time and went to Westminster Honda in Orange County and the guy tried to tell me they could not give any kind of deal and Spreen did not have the Pilot we wanted in stock. My wife and I discussed it and drove the 30 miles in rush hour traffic form Huntington Beach to Loma Linda. About an hour and a half as at that point I was not going to give these dealers a dime. While we were there they sold 12 cars as they call out the names as you go out to get your car and the employees clap. I know corny but it did tell me a lot about the owner and manager. What a difference 12 in an hour and half and we were not in the office the whole time. Tuan took us out on the lot and we looked for a Pilot that would suite us. They said there was one was coming in any day. While we were looking Tuan spotted a few vehicles that had just come in but would not be processed till the morning. Our silver touring Pilot with gray interior was there. We went in and did the paper work with Tuan and Todd. While Todd was doing the paper work his boss stuck his head in and said they needed him on Saturday as they were busy. This dealer ship moves vehicles. I was treated as I treat people in my business and they did everything they could to answer my questions. As for the women buying the used car I have no idea about that lot, but the people working in the new section did a great job. In fact the best I have ever had. I will recommend Spreen to anyone looking to buy a Honda. Lastly when we came back to pick up our Pilot the next morning Tuan was helping three different customers, one who flew in from San Francisco to drive it back, a guy who just kept saying he wanted to just pay and go but had to wait to get the paper work done and us just turning our car back in. All the other sales people were busy also. Tuan said they were hiring but you need to multitask. Maybe some of these Orange County sales people can go out here and go to work for a dealer ship who wants to move cars.

Went to purchase a used 4x4 truck for my husband. Now, I've gone to Spreen Honda in the past and have left disgusted and felt my intelligence insulted. However, I read reviews on this website stating that the sales service is above average now, so I thought maybe they have changed. I told my husband 'lets go to Spreen Honda'.We arrive at Spreen Honda and we met "Oscar". We let him know that we are interested in purchasing a 4x4 truck and if they had any available. Oscar informs us that they have only 2 on the lot. Great! Oscar takes us to the first truck and listed on the window is the kbb price (can't remember the price). I asked Oscar, "What's the price on this truck? Listed on the window is $amount." Oscar replies, "Yea, that is the price." I said, "Are you sure? The price is not cheaper than the kbb?" He replies, "No, the price is listed at the kbb price." Then he kept going on saying, "We only lower the price from the kbb if we had the vehicle for sale for over 60 days." I immediatly pulled out my phone and got ready to check online since I have NEVER heard of a dealer charging the kbb price. Oscar seen what I was doing and said, "You know what, let me go inside and check". I checked on my phone and sure enough the price was $1500+ less than listed kbb price. Oscar comes out and states that the correct price is the amount listed online. My husband wanted that truck...BAD! I broke it to my husband and said, "If they lied about the price right now, just wait until we get inside. Do you really want to deal with liars and cheats?" and he said, "Nope, lets go somewhere else."Moral of the story...once a cheat, always a cheat! They don't change!!!And now that I am really reading the reviews left from others...they are written as though a sales person wrote them. Would you, a person buying, really remember your sales person first and last name? How about full name for the manager, finance department, and etc? I wouldn't..first name maybe but not last! I believe that some of these post are from the sales team. Look at the words they are using "The internet Sales Team members, Jarod Sadelman & Albert Hidalgo, very friendly and responsive, and helped us through every step in the process. Andy Towns, the Finance Manager, made the financing process a breeze. Chet Spreen, the General Manager, is by far the nicest and most professional GM I have ever had the pleasure to deal with!" I had a great experience. The internet quote I received was $1500 less then any other quotes I received in San Diego for a new base model 2010 Honda FIT. All the other dealers tried to scare me into anything I would drive up to Loma Linda and be scammed. Good thing I didn't listen because the price was unbeatable and I didn't have to haggle at all. My rating is based on the experience I had with S preen Honda, I never had the opportunity to become a customer of theirs. I had set up an appointment with a internet sales representative to have my trade in vehicle appraised, prior to driving to the dealer I called the sales rep to confirm my appointment. He advised me he was not going to be there, but to go ahead and go to the dealership for the appraisal. Once there I stated my business with one of Helpful Honda guys dressed in blue, and he told me to come back in two hours, very helpful and professional.I call back later during the day to speak to a manger named Tony, he basically did nothing to help me out did not seem to enthusiastic about gaining my business or really addressing the lack of professionalism by his employees. He did give me a trade in appraisal over the phone. Basically his attitude was to answer the issue at hand and brushing me off so he did not have to deal with me anymore, and did not even offer an apology for the earlier transgression.Needless to say I will not be doing business with Spreen Honda in Loma Linda, Ca and those Helpful Honda Guys commercial well you definitely will not be helped at Spreen.

I usually go to either Kyle or Brian. I dealt with Kyle last time and eventhough we needed alot of work. He worked with getting us a rental and helped us with understanding the repairs.

We were quite pleased with our experience with salesman Freddy Flores. He was prompt with emails and responsive by phone as well. He quoted us an incredible price and convinced us that there would be no catch or bait-and-switch when we arrived at the dealer. We drove 90+ miles to purchase the CRV and despite a little bit of haggling (to add on extras that we thought were unnecessary), we made it to the back room with finance specialist Andy Towns.This is where all the surprises occurred, right when our guards were down.First of all, we were told that there was a maximum that we could charge on the credit card, which was very low. We were not told of this beforehand and we have experiences with other dealers that have a much higher cap on credit card charges for the down payment. When we expressed our dismay, Andy had a "manager" (not entirely sure what his role/title is) named Kelly come in and talk to us and he blatantly lied and was extremely condescending and rude.Secondly, we were sold the "immobilizer" safety system for a ridiculous price once we got home and did our research. So we were totally ripped off after all that!! Charged more than double what other people paid. Plus we were told that this feature would give us a discounted price on car insurance which is actually not true because the "Direct Ignition System with Immobilizer" comes STANDARD with all CRVs so we would have had the discounted insurance rate already. Yes, the "immobilizer" system that we paid for, is additional security per Spreen Honda and per Andy Towns, but when I spoke to a representative from the Honda dealer directly, he clearly told me that Honda did not endorse this additional security system.Overall, we felt that the savings we thought we were getting from Spreen Honda did not actually pan out and we definitely wasted about 5 hours of our time.

We went in to look at cars and met a nice man named Ralph Graham.Ralph showed us a real good value on one of the few remaining 2009 Accords that they had.We decided to go ahead and purchase the car, and Ralph made the process really easy.The next day I was trying to program in our garage door remote, to our home link system, in the new Accord. I wasn't sure just how to do it, and right about then Ralph called to make sure everything was great with the new car. I came in to spreen honda last friday and asked to have my front brakes replaced, because goodyear had told me they needed to be replaced. About a half an hour later Kyle came back to me and said my front brakes were not needed. I find it very encouraging to think they were after my best interest and not trying to make a quick dollar.

I got a quote from Dennis Anderson from the internet that I thought was too good to pass up and I drove 50+ miles to Spreen Honda to buy a 2010 Accord LX. The transaction overall was smooth. He said due to the quote so low he could not give me the advertised financing rate, but the overall price including interest payments is still the lowest I have seen in months. We were trying to negotiate a price and he was basically yelling at us!!! There is no way I would be back. Dennis Anderson is a great saleman from the Spreen Honda in Loma Linda. I've been searching for a good deal for a 2010 Honda Civic for my sister for awhile. One day I came across Mr. Anderson through internet and he quoted me the best deal. My sister and I came to the dealer couple days later and the price was not changed. This dealership is the has employees that are friendly. I gave this dealership all fives because it was a pleasant experience and they did everything right to ensure that they have a customer for life. The online salesman quoted us a price and gave it to us when we showed up later that day. We did not have to haggle over anything. The gentleman from financing answered every question under the moon that we had. It was completely different than the experience that my mother-in-law had we she bought her CR-V from a different dealership. I had my 2001 Accord in for a red SRS light that happened to come on a few days earlier. Kiel Coles greeted me with a great attitude and within 15 minutes, he told me that my car had warranty on the seat belt buckles, and it has 142,000 miles! And I was expecting to pay several hundred dollars for the repair, instead, they gave me a free carwash, repaired my Honda, coffee and donuts, without paying a cent. He even replied to my phone call while he was driving home.After discussing with Dennis about the car and finalizing the price I drove to Spreen Honda showroom to buy it. Dennis went over the entire process of how paper work going to happen. He explained the details of the vehicle and got the paperwork started. He also explained the accessories I can buy in details, but at no point I felt that I am being forced to buy these. Which seems to be fair business practice.After finalizing the deal Dennis went over all the functionality of the car. Starting from how to unlock the car, to the tuning and storing radio station. He also told me about the maintenance of the car and went over the manuals which come with car. I was handed over a completely clean car with tank full of gas.

My I.D. dropped inside of the e brake of my cousin's car and I couldn't get it out. I got there and Keil said to give him 5 minutes and he got it out! Thank goodness otherwise I wouldn't be able to fly back home tonight! Thanks for the fast and great service :)

The prices were decent which is what caught my eye. However, the customer service is terrible. I called and spoke with a guy, Freddie Flores. He was trying to get me financed and after getting all my info over the phone, he said he would call me back with an answer from the bank. He never called me. I called him around 10am and he said he would check and call me back. He didn't. I called around 12pm. He said he would check and call me back. He didn't. I went in around 5pm(since I hadn't had a call back as promised) and was informed the bank wouldn't finance me without a co-signer. I found someone to co-sign me so I called good ol' Freddie again. Gave him all the info he needed. He said he would call me back. 2 hours later, I call and he informs me he is on a test drive and will find out and call me back. Here I am 6 hours later and still no call. If the answer is no, then call me and tell me no. But don't say you are going to call and not do it. That is horrible customer service. All I need to do is come up with another 1500 and then I can buy the car I want out right from them. But I don't know if I want to ever do business again with this company.

Nothing much to say except it was a fast, easy, stress-free experience. My sales guy Matt was so friendly and made sure that the Honda Fit I bought was the right choice for me in every way. The finance department was the hindrance to getting my car as fast as I'd like it but it only took an hour, so that's okay with me!! Would recommend, and will def be back for another car from these guys!!

I am a young father who purchased a 2009 Honda CR-V EX-L w/Navi and a 2010 Honda Civic LX Sedan from Spreen Honda over the past two weeks because their dealership not only understands what car buyers are looking for, but has the leadership in place to adapt to an ever-changing automotive retail market.My shopping experience began on the internet, contacting multiple area dealers for "their best quote". The very first response received was from Spreen Honda Internet Sales Representative Matthew Humphrey, containing a brief vehicle description and competitive quote, specifically citing the MSRP and that price included destination/ad fees. After visiting other dealers who both lacked the trim I was interested in and were unwilling to come close to Spreen's quote, I called Matt to make an appointment.Matt was prompt and courteous on the phone, answering all my questions and keeping the conversation focused on just the facts. At no time did I feel sales pressure to "just come in". Upon arrival at the dealership, I was greeted by Matt personally. There were no questions about down payment, credit, budget, et cetera, just focus on our interest.Spreen Honda is a volume dealer, they had 4 units in inventory of a trim that was difficult to locate elsewhere in Riverside and Orange counties. As an added benefit, Spreen Honda does not add dealer-installed extras by default to most vehicles, so our selection was not limited by extras we had no interest in. Product knowledge was exemplary, and we took a demo of the CR-V. Matt was reactive to our responses during the test drive; supportive, not overbearing.When we arrived back at the lot, he led us inside to a sales desk and brought out a "four-square" to discuss the deal. He asked if I had a figure in mind for down payment, if I would be trading in a vehicle, and if I had a ballpark figure in mind for monthly payment. I explained that I am more interested in the sale price, and Matt was happy to oblige. The figure received from his Used Car Manager for my trade was just $100 short of the estimated Trade-In Value I had calculated in advance on edmunds.com, and the new vehicle sale price was settled promptly and amicably for both parties.With the figures agreed upon, Matt invited us to take a seat in the service waiting area, pointing out the complimentary coffee/cocoa/water machines and the paid soda machine. This waiting area features a row of chairs arranged "classroom style" facing a large wall-mounted television. Set just to the side of this waiting area was a glass-walled play area for children, and then further back the Parts and Service departments. Unfortunately, we were left waiting in this area for over half an hour for Finance, with our sales representative once coming over apologetically to mention that Black Friday was exceptionally busy for them.Once we were introduced to our finance manager, Todd, we found that the paperwork laid out matched the deal as described by Matt with no hidden extras. Todd offered us GAP Coverage, a Vehicle Service Contract, and the standard dealer-installed security system. I declined all products, and Todd offered to discount the security system because--as he put it--he's going to have to pay them to take it out if we don't want it, so it's less of a loss to discount it. When I declined the product again, there was no further mention of it or any other finance products, nor did I feel pressured at any time during the F&I process.The overall experience was so positive that I returned to the dealership just over a week later to purchase a second vehicle from them for myself, with similar results. That is perhaps the strongest endorsement I can provide for this dealership. In closing I want to emphasize that the staff seem genuinely excited and youthful in appearance and demeanor (if not age as well), and this certainly relieves stress from the purchasing experience.FULL DISCLOSURE: On my second purchase, my sales representative asked if I would be comfortable posting a review of their dealership. I received no incentive or preferential treatment, and no expectation of review score was dictated. I am happy to provide positive word of mouth for this dealership from two favorable experiences in a row.

I had by far, my BEST car buying experience after 4 purchases in my life. This was my first purchase at Spreen Honda and I have to say it was pretty remarkable. They just do things differently, they are kind and friendly, everyone is happy, the atmosphere is fun yet calm as well, very unique dealership. I bought a 2010 CRV and it is the best vehicle I have owned, this was my first import purchase and unfortunately I have to say this vehicle is far superior to my previous chevys.Big thanks to Todd in Finance and Andrew my salesperson, they made it fun and thanks to the staff for announcing our names and applauding, letting my daughter hit the gong, wow that was loud, and great tacos too! I e-mailed them about a used car I found listed on http://autotrader.com. The next day I got a call from Kurt Spreen. I asked him a few questions about the car and set up a time to see it. My family made the long trek from LA to Loma Linda, drove the car, and liked it. I said I would buy it for the advertised price - it was a good price so I didn't even try to negotiate it.Kurt handed me off to a salesman named Dennis Anderson who was polite until I said that I didn't want to purchase the extended warranty - I just wanted to purchase the car. Dennis then rudely told me that he would not sell the car to me unless I bought a $2,100 extended warranty from their dealership!!Dennis started ranting about how they wouldn't make a dime on the car without me buying the extra warranty. He said he didn't see why he had to bend over backwards filling out paperwork if he wasn't going to make any money. He and his manager then flatly refused to sell me the car unless I bought the warranty. I was shocked! I didn't set the price. I didn't even try to negotiate. Why are you getting upset with me when i'm just offering to buy a vehicle at the price you set!?Unbelievable and blatant false advertising on their part!!If the advertised price was contingent on buying an extended warranty then they need to state that up front....and certainly, they should have mentioned it to me during the phone call. My family wasted an entire day driving out there, filling out paperwork...only to have him refuse to sell the car to me at the last minute.

This dealership is such a joke. I went in to purchase a car and took my friend who is in the business. After jerking me around for roughly 2 hrs without even showing me a car, the sales manager comes out and asks me what the problem is, I then replied with "your numbers aren't making any sense." He replied with "I actually came out to tell you to leave, we aren't selling you a car." I guess they don't like customers who actually know what they're doing when they go to buy a car. These guys are trash and set a bad example for all car salesmen. They couldn't explain why a 19k car was netting a $455 car payment on a 60mnth term with 3.9% interest. I'm no math genius but these guys are shady as hellllllll. Looks like they find their salesmen on the streets of S.B. dressed in jeans and their crappy blue T's.

I am very sure Spreen Honda is an excellent family dealership. I just had to come across FELIX AYALA and TONY LOPEZ. The worst customer care I've had in my life. Hopefully no other customer have to go through those 2 "internet department jerks." Spreen Honda was the dealer that offered me the lowest quote, but also the dealer with the worst customer care. No follow up e-mails or calls, lying about taxes, even sending me a quote for the wrong car! And after I expressed my dissapointment toward their customer service, the fleet manager couldn't handle it and had a "little tantrum". He actually had "Felix" call me and tell me that I made him "so mad" that he was raising the price on the car. Can you believe that?? HAHAHA!!! He even dared me to go to their dealer because I was not going to get their "super special internet price anymore". "The sales department don't have those deals". He is actually talking AGAINST his own dealer!!! WOW, that's very impressing. Mr. Spreen, you need to hire more qualified people. Now Mr. Ayala and Mr. Lopez FYI you don't treat your customers like that because reviews can be a B*TCH.

The experience at Spreen was unlike any I have ever had when buying a car. These guys are so chill, they have a very cool atmosphere at the dealership. They celebrate every purchse with an announcement and congradulations, they then escort you to a Spreen gong, that you get to blast as hard as you want, it's just a lot of fun. I was referred here by my co-worker who had a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone.I bought a 2005 Certified Honda Odyssey for my wife and we had the kids with us and they did everything possible to keep the process short and simple, I love that. Vu was wonderful, he really worked hard for us, he got us the payment we had to have and the vehicle is everything that we wanted and expected. Derek, the finance manager did a good job as well, he kept it quick and essential, we were in and out of his office in 30 minutes.I forgot to mention they wear t-shirts, tennis shoes, and jeans, no zoot suit wearing slimy salespeople here!GREAT EXPERIENCE!!

After 2 months of dealing with other Honda dealerships I decided to give this dealer a try. I received an internet quote for a 2009 Honda Civic LX well under MSRP and another email saying they would take $500 off their best quote. Of course I was skeptical as I know the sneaky tactics of dealerships. I went in and was immediately greeted by John Cusi. I showed him the e-mail specials I had received and let him know I was a first time buyer. He was very friendly and informed me they would honor the internet price on any Honda Civic. I picked out my vehicle and went ahead with the credit app. I received a great rate (with a co-signer with average credit but longer credit history than mine) and was only required to put $1000 down. All other dealerships wanted $2000 +!!! Also while in the finance office doing all the paperwork extra features were offered to me but I was not pressured in any way. They also threw in a free alarm system!!! I was very thrilled with the way this dealership treated me and would definitely recommend it for anyone in the market for a vehicle. They have a very large inventory & excellent customer service. Ask for John Cusi.

Against my better judgment, I took my '05 element in to have the window regulator replaced and get an oil change. They called back with the parts/labor price and I was shocked. $380+! I had already looked up the part since I was considering replacing it myself and knew it was around $100. I was expecting the parts/labor to be around $200. I told them I would call back and let them know if I wanted them to proceed.I called Riverside Honda immediately to get their price. I had previously had a very positive, honest interaction with someone from Riverside Honda over the phone. Sure enough, they were happy to give me their price for the part and the labor. It was less than $250...which was over $100 less than Spreen's price. AND...he said I could bring it in "within the hour." Wonderful! If I ever buy another Honda it will be from Riverside Honda...and I'll be taking our car there for service from now on. I shouldn't have been surprised, but I was. Spreen was charging for labor what Riverside was charging for the entire job. Nearly half again as much!I called Spreen back and got them to match Riverside's price, so they get a thumbs-up for that...but I won't be taking my chances with their service prices ever again. I'll just skip the hassle and drive the extra miles to Riverside, where they seem to treat their customers with respect and don't over-charge.

I was sent an advertorial personally handwritten and I thought it was so unique and clever that I should see what it was all about. When I arrived at Spreen Honda I was immediately welcomed and asked if I could be helped, I said I was just looking and needed some time. The gentlemen said no problem and to let him know if I had any questions, very nice.Being an older guy, I like to take my time and assess the situation. I found just what I was looking for, a certified used civic for travelling to my grandsons baseball games. He has quite a few, anyways the whole experience was wonderful!My salesperson was Tom Doria but Chet Spreen sent me the invite. Thanks guys for the wonderful new car.

My son and I have been looking for a new car for sometime and we have been watching the newspaper ads very closely, looking for that really great deal. Finally we saw what we had been looking for a low priced Honda CR-V at Spreen Honda.We went there on July 5th to check out the car and hopefully make a purchase. We called ahead of time and spoke with Paul Clark one of the managers and he assured us the vehicle would be ready for a test drive when we arrived. So that afternoon we got down there and took the certified CR-V for a spin and I was amazed at how low pressure everything was, I had to ask to move along to running my credit and talking numbers, I had to ask to buy the car. This was very different and very nice.We bought the CR-V for wholesale value not retail and that was the beginning price, we didn't have to haggle with them. Again this was a very nice experience compared to past buying experiences.

I can't belive I am actually reading these reviews. I went in to the dealership (referred by COSTCO) and looked at a Honda Fit. I was not able to take delivery right at that moment because I had to arrange my funds. With the price in WRITING and in hand I went in to take delivery of my Fit, which was still in stock. I was told they were raising the price by $1500 and if I didn't like it I could go elsewhere.The sales manger was so rude and talked down to myself and his sales people. I can't see how they possibly stay in buisiness. I have never been treated so badly. Maybe it's because I'm older and retired and they think they can take advantage of me.I went elsewhere.

I was referred to Spreen Honda via the Honda website. They sent me a good price so I stopped by. The internet manager introduced me to a young salesman who was very friendly and eager to help. He didn't seem to mind taking the time to show me everything, even though I was a "fleet" customer. The price I paid was exactly what I was originally quoted and everything went very smoothly. All in all this was a very good experience compared to other car purchases I have made.

When i came in i needed to find the service area due to the construction going on and a Mr. Rick Welty helped me find the service area. When i went inside the service office a nice young man Richard Ortega helped me. My vehicle repairs were all done exactly like i wanted and everyone was so friendly. They are very rude and dont care about the customers.They lie a lot and will make car purchasing exp very tough.They gave me a bad price and told me to bring a lower one and they will match it. I did that and showed them the lower quotes. While trading their car for me with another dealer they found out that this is the only car available in SC and they bluntly refused me to give that car for the price they already promised.In return, they made me sit for 1 hr doing stupid documentation and told me that if i want the car pay the MSRP or leave.The sales guy was pretty cool and helpfull but all others i met were absolutely un-professional and liars.

I will never buy a car from Spreen Honda EVER and will definitely NOT RECOMMEND family, friends and business associates to purchase anything form them. Stay away.I am amazed at all the good reviews of Spreen. I wouldn't doubt they are all written by Rick Welty and Chet Spreen. Truly an AWFUL dealership.

I went to this Honda dealer as a COSCO member against the advice of a friend who said that they lyed about his payment and when he went into finance they told him he was getting free stuff included in his payment. (they just quoted him too much payment to sell him more, he said) I told him he was probably mistaken COSCO researches their dealers and would not send me to a place that does that to customers. After seeing the manager jef and his asistent manager Ricky they were not sincere in the least I made my decision and drove 20 minutes down the freeway and bought a car somewhere else. I would sugest anyone else reading this do the same.

I had a GREAT experience at Spreen Honda ! The staff was very knowledgeable and gave me honest answers. I have been shopping around and going to different dealership and had nothing but bad experiences. Other dealerships were pushy and did not seem to care about what I wanted. If they didn't have the car I was looking for they would try to push me to buy another car! When I came to Spreen Honda is was like a breath of fresh air! They found the car that I wanted and my salesperson did not make me feel pressured. everyone was very nice and made me feel completely comfortable buying my new car. I would absolutely recommend Spreen Honda and will be buying my next car withthem!

Never insult the customer rule 1.. If the customer comes in with documentation as to a prospective deal dont tell the customer his trade to much of a problem for them to deal with ( 03 Mustang Cobra with only 7000 miles)in perfect shape. The salesman and I were close to a cash deal and come clown comes in and blows the deal for the salesman.

I took my 07 Odyssey in for a repair and it is still under full warranty. They did not do anything other than check the error codes from the computer. Said that they could not repair it and that I needed to bring it back later. They had it all day. I talked to a friend afterwards and he said that the error codes can be referenced in some Honda web site that states exactly want to repair. He guesses that they just did not want to fix it because it is still under warranty. Or I guess the other reason is that they just don't know what they are doing.I decided to take the car to another dealer. I just don't trust them.

This was the first time I had to buy a car in my life. My experience was incredible, and easy. I even spoke with Jeff about my future purchase and how I would be paying for the vehicle. When I came in they gave me a special fleet deal. Now I have my new Accord, and everything worked out for the best.I had some minor problems with some of the interior issues, my salesperson walked me out to the service writer and they dealt with them easily. Everything was covered by factory warranty. I would recommend them for sales and service.

Salesman (Paul Sandoval) was just fine. He sold Hondas to both my brother and my mother before my husband and I purchased our new 2005 Element through him in May 2005. We paid cash for our car and did not have a trade-in. I negotiated pretty tough and got the price I wanted without having to discuss financing, monthly payments, or trade-ins.Once we got into the finance office to be hard sold all the extras (alarm, service contract, undercoating, etc.) and the finance guy found out we were paying cash, had no trade-in, and didn't want any extras...well, we were treated unprofessionally. The finance guy was condescending, rude, and clearly p!$$3D-off. My husband and I left feeling insulted. The only reason we didn't write a letter was not wanting to relive the experience.My mother and brother have subsequently had horrendous (unbelievably so) experiences with the service department and Jeff Spreen, who they were told was the owner's son. Stay away from Spreen Honda!

I went to this dealer to look for a new honda civic. The salesman that approached me was very young and impatient. When I indicated to him what I was looking for in a new car his response was very condesending and unprofessional. I realize it's easy to criticise but over all I have to say that I was very dissatisfied with every aspect of Spreen Honda. The appearance of the inside and outside of the facility was dirty and rundown. I found no professionalism in any of the staff I encountered. If I'm going to spend my hard earned money I expect to be treated with dignity and respect and for this I will not visit this dealer in the future.

My first time there only b/c my car really needed an oil change and i was far away from my usual Unicars Honda in Indio. Seriously, they just want your money and nothing to do with you. After having paid i waited and waited for my car. finally i had to get someone to go get it. It was drying off in the sun...yeah....thats a great car wash. I was given my keys and that's all. I found a sheet on my passenger seat stating the stats on my car. At my usual Unicars Honda someone will sit down with me and tell me how everything went. some customer service...geez. Their service sucks and now i'm recieving mail each week about buying back my car, special deals, and other crap. thanks spreen honda. >:(

I've been pretty happy with the service dept here. I have a highly modified accord and they'll still do service without giving me any guff. I haven't had much experience with the new head service guy, but the old one would try his best to save me money even if that meant I brought in some parts bought elsewhere. That was very cool of him. I'd recommend Spreen to any of my friends without hesitation.

My first experience with this dealer was with the sales folks while trying to buy a 2003 Accord. First they said my credit was iffy and would need to get approval first before they would sell me the car. They said they would call me back that day. They never did.<br>The next day I called them, they said American Honda said no. I hung up the telephone and drove 25miles to the next Honda dealer, and with in two hours drove home in a new 2003 Accord EX Leather, Leased through American Honda!<br><br>The next time I went there was for a brake wobble with this new car, now 10,000 miles old. It also pulled to the right. After leaving it there for a day, when I went to pick it up after work, I was told that there is nothing wrong with it, and that the brakes dont wobble and the car does not pull to the right. I had to pay Midas my self to have them turn the rotors, now it no longer wobbles when hitting the brakes, but it still pulls to the right. Both of these problems have been well documented on internet chat sites, like Edmunds.com. <br><br>Spreen Honda would not even turn the rotors! A $20 job, or check the alignment for me, they did nothing. I asked to talk to the service manager, and he suggested I take it to another dealer!!<br><br>I will never go back there again, EVER.<br>
