Bob Pearson helped us with our car purchase and he was great. Bob was warm, friendly, and helpful during this whole process. My wife and I never felt pushed and he didn't play games like at some other places. Bob was also very knowledgeable about the cars and if he doesn't know something he'll tell you and go find out the answer. He does a great job with the test drive and shows you the features of the different cars. Roger Miller did good job with the financing side of the deal and it seemed to go more quickly than at other places that I have experienced. I think they have a good team of people at St. Charles Toyota.

We were in the market for a certified pre-owned Toyota Sienna. We found St. Charles Toyota (SCT) after visiting two other dealerships in the area. All three had the vehicle we were looking for, but SCT had the best listed price. After visiting, we discovered theirs was in the best condition as well.As soon as we arrived, we felt welcomed. Bob Pearson was our sales person. He is extremely knowledgeable with Toyota vehicles. He is straight-forward and transparent. You feel he is more focused on a good experience and educating than making a sale. Bob took us on the "road course", which highlighted the safety capabilities of the vehicle.The rest of the team were great as well. I went to look at a used 2013 Toyota corolla LE. Bob Pearson was my salesman.He was very personable and pleasant to work with. He answered every concern or question I had. From the moment I received an email from Molly I knew this place was different! I received the best price from them out of three other dealerships, Tim was great, it was refreshing to have a very nice, laid back sales person. He was there to answer any questions that I had from start to the moment I drove my new car out of the garage. Fast, courteous service at no charge to fix a leaking tire. I was on my way to the hospital to visit my wife when my warning light went on. I discovered the l had a nail in it. I had no appointment and had my car serviced immediately - - even got a car wash.

Friendly and honest service with employees that care about efficiency and quality work. I also appreciated the courtesy shuttle! The complimentary water and donuts were a nice touch, too. Stephanie Anderson cared about making my experience top notch. After reviewing the vehicle inspection report with me, we determined that I needed new tires. She was concerned about the safety of my family and gave me options. She was able to install new tires at the same time as my service, so I did not need to schedule a new date to come back.

Very low pressure. Marcus did a great job explaining the vehicle and was a pleasure to work with. Ray was good to deal with as well when it came to finalizing the purchase, including getting a fair trade in value on my old car. The final paperwork with Efren went well too. I don't believe in extended warranties and appreciated that Efren did well in explaining them but didn't put undue pressure on me to buy them.

The knowledge of the young man Markus on both the Corolla and the Camry cars we looked into was very impressive. His manager who made the deal on the leasing price of the auto was very up front and direct to the point of the pricing of the lease no jacking us around. Both my husband and I appreciated the way we were treated. I believe his name was Jeffrey. The finance man was very professional and honest.

My Prius battery went dead in my garage. I called service and told them that I would be dropping it off after AAA had jumped started the car. They replaced the battery with a new one, as well as a parking light, within 3 hours of dropping off the car. The service people were friendly and professional upon my arrival and when I picked the car up.

I really appreciated how thorough our salesman Tim was with explaining all of our options, going through all the features and specs of the car, and just being personable. All the other employees we interacted with were also excellent, both in explaining everything and being extremely friendly. This is a great place with up front pricing. There's no back and forth or waiting while the sales person "checks with his manager" on the price. There's no bs. Rob is a manager there (new vehicle) and treated me great. In full disclosure I didn't end up buying a car there (I ended up going with a used highlander from a different no haggle Toyota dealership that had what I wanted in stock) but I would still recommend checking them out.

Bought an older used Rav 4 yesterday.My wife and I found our sales person,Chris,to be very friendly and knowledgeable,without trying so hard to make a sale that he was going to push us into a car we didn't want.While the price wasn't cheap,I think they sold us a good clean car,and we even opted for the extended warranty,which turned out to be within our budget and reasonable.My friend Sheila recommended them to me,and I would say give them a chance when you're car shopping.

We purchased 2015 Camry from St Charles Toyota with a pleasant experience. Derek R. in Sales is patient, honest, thoughtful but never pushy. The other Derek in Financial Dept is also very helpful, going thru each option clearly with us without playing any tricks. He even went through our old Camary maintenance history with us, in order to help us make a good decision. Thanks St. Charles toyota!

Bought a brand-new toyota Avalon limited two months old notice the stain on the sunroof cover brought it in to have it either repaired or replaced, and what did they try to do blame the stain on me on a two month old car because I didn't notice it , that's how they treat their customers after you buy a new car from them

Purchased a new 2015 highlander on March 31. Love the car and the great sales service we received from the dealership. We arrived at 8:00pm and the dealership closed at 9:00. They never rushed us and actually still had us out on a test drive at 9:15. Liked the one price approach as many dealerships were not dealing on prices for the highlander and they offered a fair discount on them. This is my second car deal with them and would not hesitate going there again. By the way we left the dealership with the new car at 11:00pm and never felt they were pushing us along. :)

Adrian was great on one of the coldest days of the winter he pulled the vehicle inside so we didn't have to stand outside to check it out. Very courteous and not pushey. Made the process of buying car very easy. All people there were great. gave a deal we could live with.

Salesman called me on Saturday at closing time to let me know the car was not sold and if I'm still interested it would be out front waiting for me Monday morning. Come Monday morning, it was. Took the car for a test drive. The salesman encouraged me to drive it out as far as I wanted. Also to drive the car more aggressively, Just to make sure I didn't miss anything. Back at the lot we both cut to the chase. I told him what I wanted and the sales team made it happen. I left the lot with my new car and the deal I wanted. All good things. I brought my 4 year old girl with me which was difficult. There is no "kids" area to keep them occupied while making the deal and BET channel was on the T.V. in the waiting area. However, the sales team tried their best to entertain her, making goofy faces, allowing her to hop in and out of all the cars in the showroom. All in all, it was one of my better experience when buying a car. I would have no problem recommending them or even going back to make another purchase.

Drove almost two hours with the intention of buying a vehicle I was told was in excellent condition. I had called to verify the condition and asked for any flaws to be described and made the salesperson aware of how far I was coming. I was told the vehicle was in excellent condition and had nothing wrong and it was a certified vehicle too which had gone through inspection. How Im not sure as when I got there right away could see that both front and rear bumpers had been poorly touched up in an attempt to cover damage and the tires on the vehicle were almost bald. I didnt even test drive the vehicle as it was in such poor condition. They then tried to show me other vehicles they had. I would never buy a new or used vehicle from this dealer simply based on their dishonest description of the vehicle I drove all the way there to buy. Had they been honest about the condition I wouldnt have wasted four hours out of my day to drive there just to go back home.

This dealer advertised a car on cars.com. It was supposed to be an internet "weekly special" and advertised for $12,997. The dealer had a link to the CARFAX which appeared to be an accident free car with low miles. The CARFAX showed that the dealer had it priced $440 over retail value(I copied the ad and the CARFAX from the website), but it was what I was looking for. I had just missed a sale on a 2013 vehicle with 21,000 miles for $15,000, so I thought $12,997 was a fair price. I contacted the dealer through cars.com and a sales rep contacted me shortly after the initial contact. She informed me that the car was not at the dealer yet, but would be there within the week. The car was listed as a internet special to expire in 7 days. I told the rep I was interested and would put down a down payment on my credit car until I could arrive in Chicago(about 500 miles away). Two days later I sent an email reminding her to contact me as soon as the car arrived because I was interested and my wife was without a car. The next day I get an email saying that there had been a typo and the price was actually going to be $22,369. This is obviously more than a typo. When posting an ad on the internet, you have several opportunities to correct mistakes and review ads before listing them. I'm sure they won't honor their ad with this much descripancy.

The buck stops here if you want a happy, professional, pressure free car buying experience, didn't have to negotiate at all and got a great deal without any hidden fees on a better than average car. I like em so much I kept their advertisement on my car and i've never done that before. transparent as glass ( no ripoff here)

I looked at the Pontiac Solstice, the car was dusty and the trunk lid was not closed securely. The trunk lid appeared as if it had been sprung or the car may have been in an accident. The car fax said that the vehicle had a clean record, but the vehicle it self said something else.

Shopping for a used Lexus and found a promising example on cars.com. Contacted St. Charles Toyota requesting a viewing and test drive and the car was clean and ready at the appointed time. Love it when people do what they say they're going to do. Car was excellent, all dealer personnel were excellent, my trade was fairly valued and deal was quickly finalized. Just the way it's supposed to work. Great job!

This was my first and last time at St Charles Toyota. They made matters worse when I brought my car to them. They wouldn't take car of the new issue that happened in their repair shop. Then billed me $400 more to fix it. I'm a very loyal person and good service gets repeat business! I'll never go back!!!

I had a horrible experience at this dealer. Like Sarah H's experience, I brought my car in for service and due to negligence St Charles Toyota created a whole problem. I went in with three lights on on my dash. They ran diagnostics, did an oil change and some recall work on the rear suspension. They did not have the part to fix my original issue so they ordered it and sent me on my way. When I left I had FIVE warning lights on. Since my part was due in in the next day or two I figured I'd let them know when I came back. When I got to my next appointment they found the new problem but wouldn't take responsibility for it. I insisted they fix it no charge and ended up being asked into a side office. I was basically interrogated like a common criminal and put on the defensive. They gave me $50 off of the new $400 repair. Over the next few days I talked to the Toyota National Hotline, another Toyota dealers service manager, and an online Toyota mechanic w 30 years of experience. They all said the same thing, St Charles Toyota (specifically RON BLUM the service mgr) is being dishonest with you!I WILL NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS THERE AGAIN!

I came in with my 25 year old son to test drive a prius and to buy it. Were treated so poorly we felt as if they did not even want to sell us a car. the quote they gave us seemed very high. Intersting, we bought the same prius in Lincoln Park in the City for THOUSANDS less than the quote St Charles gave us.I am furious because we are loyal repeat customers. WE have bought at leat 4 vehicles from this dealership.I wish I had a nickle for all the minutes I sat in that waiting room waiting for my 45 minute oil change that ended up taking 2 1/2 hours. I'd be rich!Since this awful experience we have bought a Prius from the dealership in lincoln Park and I got a Rav 4 in Naperville and had a delightful experience. And guess what... they have loaners!Asta la vista St Charles.

Just bought a new 2013 RAV 4 XLE AWD. The sales staff (Ryan) and the sales manager (Rob) made the "dreaded dealership hop" actually an enjoyable experience. Once we walked in and got started we knew we wouldn't need to go to another dealership. They were knowledgable, very professional and made the visit very enjoyable. I would highly recommend them- they had every available model, options, colors you could want on site. Never in 20 years have I ever been this pleased with a dealership. Was well worth the 3 hour drive to get there!

Both Michael Elf (owner's son0 and Ron Blum Service Manager are very unprofessional. Both these men treat customers poorly. Workmanship is questionable. Did work and did not stand by their work. After being treated poorly and told to take my business some where else - I did. I would like to report, I took my business to Schaumburg Toyota. Very nice on the phone. Great service. I would never buy a car or have service at St Charles Toyota. Don't waste your money or time with them. Check out Schaumburg Toyota if you want to be treated the way customers should be treated than ripped off by St Charles Toyota.

Wanted to buy 2 toyotas with trade ins. Their attitude was take it or leave it. At one point when I called back the next day to discuss just the one toyota and options (net) take one with fewer options, the salesperson left a message saying we are so far apart ($2,000) - without waiting for me to mention the one with fewer options. He said "good luck, doesn't look like this will work". Didn't look up trade-in values for old cars. As the women, their salesperson would not shake my hand or address me.Went to Elgin Toyota, bought two toyotas and traded in two cars. More professional dealership and you felt they cared about you as the customer. Vs. St. Charles, I think they felt we were the salespeople. I would never recommend St. Charles, go the distance to Elgin.

If you're lucky, Tony will be the first person you deal with when you come in for service. He is both knowledgeable and a good guy to get the straight scoop from.Most service items have been dealt with in a professional manner. When a question has arisen the greeter (I know there's a better way to describe them but I can't think of it) has resolved in to my satisfaction.Have been bringing my Celica here for many years and am very satisfied with the service provided.Will probably but my next car from this dealer.

I bought a brand new 2010 Toyota Prius and before I hit 20,000 miles I had to replace all four tires. I paid for that. Now my car has 60K miles on it and the drive unit went out. Because the warranty is only 3 yrs/36k miles they are refusing to help in any way. I don't feel if I buy a brand new car I should have to worry about putting $3k into it. I have called the dealership many times to try to get a answer they hardly ever return my phone call. I have been in a loaner car for almost 4 weeks before they finally told me. We will not be doing anything to help you.

Please do not buy from them. They actually told me that they are not responsible for what a sales rep tells customers. They promised me a car with a 120 pt inspection yet could not and would not show me what they did. I was promised that the air conditioning worked and was checked. Because the car I bought has a sensor that does not allow the air to work in temperatures below 55 degrees. I was assured it worked I bought the car and they told me too bad!!! Please do not buy from them - give the business to the people with integrity!!
