Bought my truck from Steffes about 3 weeks ago and I love it. Great rust free trucks at awesome prices. Very easy to work with and knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend getting a good working truck from Steffes.

See edit below I bought my 8th work truck from Melony and Mike this weekend. I still have all 8 of those trucks. I bought the first one in August of 2012, 1 in 2013, 1 in 2016, 1 in 2017, 1 in 2018 and 3 in February of this year. My daily driver is a Steffes Motors truck. They get good, clean trucks and sell them at fair prices. Melony and Mike are easy to work with. If you want to spend your time running your business, and not shopping for trucks, call Melony every time you need a truck. If you are not a business owner and you just want a clean rust free truck for yourself stop here first. Edit 3/20/2021 I bought my 9th truck from Steffes Motors yesterday. Another winner! It's a work truck, so it isn't 100% scratch free, but with 100,000 miles it's cleaner than one would normally expect. And more importantly it's a southern rust free truck. Mary was in the office when I arrived and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and that included the test drive. Very easy buying experience, great people and great trucks.

Purchased a truck, on the way home the transmission went out of it, called Mike immediately, he said bring it back. I did and he put a new one in it With a 3 year warranty on it...with no qualms. Would recommend to anyone!! Would purchase from him again! It's hard to find someone that stands by what they sell. Especially a used vehicle! Thanks again Mike!

My wife and son went to the Steffes Motors on 6/29/2021. They were there to look at a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado. The truck had an oil pan leak, rear differential leak, the tailgate was not the original one which did not fit properly, and the rear bumper was missing. When my wife attempted to negotiate the price, the young man stated that they don't negotiate pricing. He also stated that it is a used vehicle and you get what you get with that. I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this place.

Steffes Auto in Council Bluffs was great. Mary at the front desk is knowledgeable and efficient. Mike the owner is fair and made sure the garage took care of any concerns i had with the truck. The shop mechanic is Mike's son and was very good to work with. It is a family business. I flew in from out of state to buy a truck and there was something wrong with it when i got there. Mike put me up in a hotel and paid for all expenses and by the next morning the truck was fixed and i was on my way. They even filled the truck full of gas! Who does that?? Steffes Auto does! You will not be disappointed. Steve

Vehicles are very poorly represented by staff. We requested multiple additional pictures and were told the truck of interest was a 9 on a scale of 10... After driving 3 hours one direction, we quickly learned it was quite the opposite. The truck that we were told was "practically flawless" was missing pieces off of the interior on the dash and doors, in addition to being completely filthy. Not what we were expecting, especially on a 4 year old pickup. I would recommend you run from ANY vehicle at this dealership. Trust me, it's not worth your time. And ignore the replies from this company on any of these reviews- we learned the hard way.

I watched their website for months as i was getting ready to buy a new used truck. I was looking for a newer chevy 2500. They have plenty. They seem to come from the southern states which is great cause that mean no to little rust. The lady in the office is very nice and knows her inventory. I will remember this place for my future trucks.

I drove a long way to get a good deal. The truck ran great on the way home. It started knocking three days after I tagged it and started driving it. Coincidence? You decide. They got me. I'm replacing the engine.

I bought a 2007 gmc Sierra at a fair price that was very straight and a good deal with no rust Steffens is my number one choice for good used trucks at a fair price

Drove 4 hours to get a truck holes in cab that you could see the ground through, bad tires, radio was locked and they said I would have to take it to a dealer to get fixed, wires hanging down under it. Not a good experience would never buy from them.

Sent numerous emails and left a couple of voice messages to the dealership but no one contacted me. I eventually got a hold of somebody and the vehicle I was trying to inquire was just sold. When told about leaving numerous voice messages and email where nobody contacted, all she could say that the person responsible in returning calls was busy. No appology or any type of concern. They don't care about customer service.

I drove all the way from duluth mn the trucks looked good in the pictures they said rust free from the south when i arrived bubbled rust on rockers they painted over and every truck frame under wheelwells and axels painted black even over dirt very disappointed would not recommend ever !!

I actually enjoyed looking for a truck, and that is unusual for me. I had been to several other dealers and talked to several sales people before a friend suggested Steffes Motors. Let me just say I found a great dealership, with great prices, and a Sales Person (Mark) who actually listened to me, and found a truck that does everything I needed it to do, at a GREAT price. I will never go anyplace else. Thanks Mark and keep up the good work.
