I called about the ad on there website for Black Friday sale. First salesman I gave all my info and never called me back. Second try salesman said you needed military to get that special but nowhere on the website said that, he was rude and sent me to his manager. Manager quoted me price that I saw on website and sent me over to another salesman. Salesperson then told me the price was wrong and that I needed conquest which the ad said conquest or lease loyalty which i have. Then they said even though they ad said MSRP was $ 35,985 all those vehicles come with navigation but he said it doesn't. This dealership gives false advertising and you should be aware. Total rip off!! First quote from sales manager $ 108 plus tax with $ 1631 down, after talking to salesman new price $ 144 plus tax.

This place is such a joke. My family has been leasing for over 15 yrs from this dealership. I went in to get MY 4th lease from them. The sales person was rude almost like he wanted to hurry up and get me out the dealership. Then after getting the dodge journey i had a ton of prblems with it all the time and i took it in about 6 times for repairs. Then when my truck went back i decided to get a chevy which was by far more price wise for me theu told me that i was going to have to pay a 400 dollar fee for not getting anpther lease through them. The day i came in to this dealer to drop the vehicle off the lady at the front desk , kristin refused to help me because i didnt have my vin on a piece of paper with my name on it. I emptyed the car because i was dropping it off. I never had an issue EVER dropping off my vehicle. She refised to help me a belittled me in front of everyone as of i was stupied and didnt know why i would be driving a vehicle back to the dealership without the insurance paper. I explained that i had cleaned it out not thinking of the paper being at home on my office. This is exactly why i will never ever get another vehicle through them EVEN IF IT WAS GIVEN TO ME FOR FREE!

I strongly recommend not purchasing from Sterling Heights dodge chrysler jeep ram. They have been evasive since we bought the car. Made their sale and wiped their hands clean of us. Even though we found problems with the car after they sold it. Problems that should have been found in an inspection had they done one. Which we're pretty sure they didn't, they rushed the car off the lot the night they knew we were intrested. At the time we looked at it they said it hadn't been inspected yet, less than 1 hour later it was magically all ready to go! They won't own up to problems, they won't take phone calls - the sales guy has texted twice saying it's at our expense (the repairs) and he'll let his boss know (that we're unhappy). And when I left a negative post on their Facebook they deleted it and blocked me from commenting!

He showed my wife and I the T&C inside and out, very patiently handled my wife's questions and long stories about many diffrent subject matters. Chris DeMartino told us that there was no negotiating possible when a Supplier Discount was used. When we balked at the monthly number, he negotiated a better number. We picked up our Journey RT and drove off to dinner. In route, we noticed we had less than 1/2 tank of gas and tires were significantly over inflated at 44 lbs. When I went to adjust them, I saw that the wheel locks ($60) we paid for hadn't been installed. I contacted Chris and arranged to bring the car in the next day. Chris had a lot of excuses and no arrangements had been made with the Service Manager. It took 1:40 to top off the tank and install the locks. "I can't control the New Car Prep". Well, Chris, double check their work or learn how to use your manager to make problem resolution a priority.

The dealership rep disrespected me. I was genuinely interested in a certified preowned 14 Charger RT AWD and was prepared even with the VIN number of the car. The sales rep. refused to let me test drive the car when I told him that I am planning to get the car in a week or two. He said that if I wanted to buy one today or tomorrow, only then he will let me test drive. I sincerely believe that this attitude is unacceptable. I have been to many dealerships over the past few years and have never witnessed this sort of treatment.

I just had to call Sterling Heights Dodge for the first time in more than a year since their service department had really really upset me. I was nervous about having to deal with them. Turns out that the service manager that had been ridiculously rude was replaced by a very friendly and helpful new manager named James Jordan. Finally after several years of trying to get my recall work done, it looks like everything is lined up. He's coordinating getting my parts ordered, recall work done, and my remote start hooked back up at no charge to me. Hopefully I'm not speaking too soon, lol. But just his professionalism and kindness on the phone has already given me the thought that I'll start using their service department again. I've been driving out of my way to go to another dealership and I'm excited if I can go back to using the one close to home again.

I went to Sterling Heights Dodge where I bought my Avenger and pulled into garage. I was greeted as if I was an inconvenience for me to bring my car in. The girl was nasty about telling me they had a 3 week backup. She made me feel like I was an idiot for not knowing they are backed up. She had ZERO empathy nor compassion for someone having car troubles. No one wants to have issues with their car but a nice service person can make the experience more tolerable. I was coming to exchange my money for service but I felt like I was bothering them. Such a harsh feeling to feel so not welcome in the service area of the dealer you got your car from. I'll never buy from them again, there are other dealerships out there. The girl with long dark hair needs to find new job where she doesn't talk to customers. I think her name was Katie.

I will be 100% honest. I have never had a better sales person when it comes to the process of buying a new car. I have had lease after lease and purchase after purchase over the last 25 years. I have had over 7 different cars and trucks and I always was a Ford customer. Over the years I've had shady sales people more than I can count. Examples are flipping Co signers around to make it look like they are buying outright. Changing mileage from 12K to 10 at the last minute before closing. From 36 month to 39 month the last minute. And my share of all around unethical behavior that made me upset more than I could count. I needed a new car to replace my 2007 Ford Explorer that only had 58k miles but it was in the shop 4 times in seven months and after dealing with it stalling over and over I was ready to get a lease to have no worries about a broken vehicle. My situation was a puzzle because I owed 5,200. I took out a loan and used my truck for colateral. So I owed more than what the car was worth. I know this was going to be hard because I could not afford a big payment yet I knew that this amount would have had to be calculated on top of any payments for the new vehicle. I went to GM and Ford and both sales people were not able to give the payment I could afford unless I went back to a plain car with perks. I needed a truck so I kept looking for other options. One dealer told me a payment of 754, for an Edge. No Joke!! I was frustrated and then I was told by a Co worker to call his sales Lady. Her name is Alixandrya. She, is the most caring, understanding, honest, ethical and hardest working sales person I ever had. She treats you like family. She listens to you. She takes time with you. I felt like I was her only client, that is how much attention she gives you. She works hard to get the payment you want and she is pure magic. I would tell you that if you want a good person who has a good heart to work hard on your behalf, you have to go to see Alix at Sterling Heights Dodge on Van xxxx. I was blown away by her hard work and number crunching. She goes to bat for you and once you work with her, you are a client for life. She wants you to come back to her and refer to her so she goes that extra mile to make you happy and satisfied. I have a new 2016 Dodge Journey RT and the truck is great. Payments great. So I recommend you go to this dealership and ask for Alix. You'll be happy you did.

This is seriously the worst service department I've ever been to. On multiple occasions they try to say that there is nothing wrong with my car and after calls to Chrysler's headquarters they begin to take it seriously.On the most recent occasion, I brought my car in because it wouldn't start and I knew it wasn't the battery. I pulled my car in the service lane and after standing by my car for 5-10 minutes, someone finally talked to me. And by talk to me, I mean "do you have an appointment? We only see cars by appointment and we're booked until the 14th." And when I replied "Since when? I've brought my car here on numerous occasions as soon as I have an electrical problem," he tried to tell me it's always been that way. Then he grabbed a different person to talk to me. She was even less helpful than he was. She tried to tell me it was my battery, which I assured her it wasn't. I told her that I have an extended warranty and need my car fixed because it will not start on its own. Her response was "we only take cars by appointment." When I asked her what people do when it's an emergency, she stated "go to another dealership." Well that's truly the worst customer service I've ever heard. After a long conversation with her about how my car is un-drivable and that it is not the battery, she told me the earliest they could get me in is Dec 18. When I asked why I was told the 14th earlier and now she wanted to push it back, she then told me that she could get me in on the morning of the 15th. I am so appalled by the treatment and "service" that I received. I made sure to get her business card and I will be contacting corporate (once again) for the lack of service I received. I tell everyone who is considering buying a Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/Ram to seriously consider it and if they still want to, DO NOT BUY IT FROM STERLING HEIGHTS! The only reason I bring my car there is because that's where it was purchased from and they've worked on my car 5-10 times for electrical problems, but yet they try to make me seem crazy when I notice a problem.There are many more instances like the one I described above, including refusing to look at my car because they didn't believe there was anything wrong with it, even though it would turn off completely when I was driving it. I beg every person who checks yelp before going to a dealership to avoid this one. It will save you time and headaches.

My first buying experience at Sterling Hts. was in November 2010 when I purchased a Jeep Wrangler from my salesman, James Jordan. You could not have asked for a nicer, no pressure gentleman than James. Bill Stipik in the finance department also was responsible for making this buying experience a pleasurable one. I went in on a Saturday to take a test drive and was taking delivery of my Jeep the following Tuesday.Due to this excellent buying experience I have since leased two other vehicles from the folks at Sterling Hts. and James Jordan. In December 2012, I leased a Dodge Charger R/T. I did the whole deal over the phone with James and was not disappointed or misled. James told me what the price was going to be and to his word that's what it was on the paperwork when I arrived. The first time I even saw the car was the day of delivery. Another salesman, Bob Dattilio, did the paperwork write-up that day since James wasn't available. Bob was very kind and took the time to program my phone to the UConnect system.My most recent lease came last October with a 2014 Chrysler 300S. Again, the deal was done over the phone and everything that was discussed was true to its word. James asked me what color I'd like from what was available. I came in on a Monday evening, signed the papers, and off I went as a very happy customer.People often ask me why I'd drive 45 miles one way to a dealer when there are so many other Chrysler dealers close to home. The reason is simple. It's the whole staff at Sterling Hts. that makes it seem so easy to make a purchase. The check engine light on my car was on, a day before leaving on a trip. I called the service department and Sal checked it out as soon as I arrived. Keith Forbes is my salesman. Keith is very knowledgeable about his product and there is zero pressure to purchase. He gets to know you and truly wants you to get the car that is best for you. I had scheduled an appointment for an oil change. After waiting an hour and a half I went to ask if the car would be ready soon. A problem had come up with a part being stripped and needed to be replaced. The part was not available and had to be picked up from another location. I was very frustrated with how long this was taking and the manager had came up to me and helped with the issue. He was very professional and nice at all times, even when I may have been difficult towards them. He made an effort to make things better. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make it right.

Based on a disussion at the beach with one of the dealer managers (Denny), I asked to be called the next week for a Jeep purchase. Alix, "The Jeep Girl" called me right away. I told her what I wanted, and by Friday I was picking up my customized Jeep. We have always serviced our vehicle at the Sterling Heights Dealership but had an unique experience recently. Our family had just left our house with our elderly parents to go to a 4 day church conference out of state. The service light began to flash and we noticed something was wrong with the acceleration. We knew right away that we would not be able to travel in this condition. When we pulled into our Sterling Heights Dealership. Mr. Jordan listened carefully and when diagnosing the issue, confirmed that it would be unsafe with our family without fully checking things out. Because it was such a tight situation, he checked in our vehicle for service and arranged an alternate vehicle that worked out perfectly for us to use . Mr. Jordan went above and beyond to make sure our service experience at Sterling Heights Dodge was an exceptional one. We were on our way in no time.

I noticed something wrong with what I thought was the transmission on my vehicle while I was driving it this morning. I took it right into the dealership. Upon arrival I was greeted by a woman who asked if I had an appointment. I did not, and she was visibly annoyed by this and said someone would help me shortly. Aaron quickly asked what he could to do help me. I explained what happened and was told that the transmission mechanic would not be in for about a week. I was beginning to get upset. Aaron asked me what kind of car I drove and thought he could help me if he took it for a test drive. While we were driving it he explained that my car has the capacity to switch to manual transmission if I just tweak the gear shifter (I clearly don't know the technical term) a little bit to the left or right.... I was completely unaware of this. Aaron explained that I probably bumped it which caused the difference I felt in the transmission. I was so happy!! Not only was I relieved that there was nothing wrong with my car, Aaron saved me the trouble of having my car in the shop for a week only to be told there was nothing wrong. I am very appreciative that he took the time to help me!!!!

I had to order my new Journey because I had my heart set on blue. Bob D. took care of the entire process and ended up having to keep it on the lot for me while I was on vacation. when I got back he took care of everything for me. When I picked up my beautiful new car he took the time to make sure I knew how to use all of the new features. We bought a 2015 Ram, and this was our first introduction to this dealership. We drove 4 hours (one way), and were not disappointed. Keith is one of the nicest people I have met, when I went in looking for a new car because my old one was about to die, he took everything I said into consideration; mainly the price and found me a few different options that would fit my budget. When I bought my car from Sterling Heights Dodge the experience was excellent. Who doesn't like getting a new car? When I purchased my car I also bought an extended warranty for 999,999 miles. If anything goes wrong with my vehicle it is serviced for $150 deductible. Sounds great right? I was one of the first people to have the issue with the car would stall while driving. It took Sterling Heights Dodge nine visits to get the issue resolved. Now that's not nine days that's nine visits at 2 to 3 days per visit. It ended up being a $95 part. The ERG valve. Every time I visit Sterling Heights Dodge and my cars with them for at least 2 to 3 days...forcing me to Rent-A-Car. Now it's in for an overheated thermostat in my driver side automatic door is not working. This time it looks like it'll be over a week. I can't help but think that because I have a warranty I am placed on the on the bottom of the priority list. I always have to call to find out what's going on with my car. Today I waited for over two hours for an update on my car and finally when I did call back I was put on hold on and off for 45 minutes to be told that my car was still be possibly another 2 to 3 days yes it's already been three days. Please do not allow them to tell you that they are super busy because this is a perpetual problem for them. You would think that if they had this many people overflowing and meeting service that they would add additional staff and even extend their facility if need be. I am very disappointed with Sterling Heights Dodge.

My tale beings on Apr 22, 2015. I picked up my vehicle after service involving the check engine light, GASCAP, and a warranty replacement item to be greeted by a low tire pressure light that wasn't on before...not a big deal, but they couldn't be bothered to take care of it.Two days later the check engine light was on again. I was told over the phone that if it wasn't blinking, 'it wasn't serious'. A week later it was blinking, called again and had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment, bringing me to June 2. They called on the 4th to tell me they had no record of a tune-up (never mentioned it in April), so I had them do the tune-up and their recommended 'decarbonation'. When I called about the status of my car, they found a coolant leak which was repaired - I assume.When I picked up my vehicle, there was a crack approx 12" long on the driver side windshield that was not there when I dropped it off. The service manager came out to look at it, said his people didn't cause it and they were not going to replace it. End of story.

This has been in going for a week! From day one of taking our truck in I was treated very rudely and talked down to by the service girl checking in the truck! Got a call 2 days later all set to go. Picked it up 20 miles down the road encountered an problem that wasn't even an issue when dropped off. Took it back and they the treatment we Recieved was even worse thank before trying to say it was our fault! Now was treated like children by the service girl and NOW even the manager (whom we asked to speak to). Said they would look at truck and let us know we then left. Now the work they did on the truck is in right in front of what is now wrong with it! Was told by a outside mechanic that what's going on now with the truck is "probably" from them doing the work and hitting the area now having issues. It's bound to happen sometimes but on them to fix it seeing it's from them. Either way it needs to be fixed and there is a warranty on it! So don't see where their problem is. Next morning Recieved a call from said service girl said they will not be able to let us know what's wrong until a week from that day and was very rude. Therefore we called and arranged to take it elsewhere tired of being treated this way! Was told when called that if we took it it was on us and good warranty. Of course called Chrysler customer service directly they said to get the truck out of there and we were good to move it! Then picked up truck showed paper work as to the truck was just fine 4 weeks ago all oil and other fluids where great!! Shut them up real fast! Truck is now at different dealership and have a awesome experience with the so far!! Bottom line DO NOT take your cars there unless you want the work done halfway or if you up to being treated like a child! I have never been treated this badly! We have other that have witnessed parts of the treatment threw this ordeal that informed us that we did have the right to remove the truck and take it elsewhere. If I was even to treat a customer this way I would be removed on the spot form my employer!! You know it's bad when Chrysler Customer Service also told us to remove the truck and we should never return there and gave us dealerships they recommend!! Again do not go here for service unless you like crappy service half the work done and to be treated like infantile children who know nothing!!!

I went into Sterling Heights Dodge to purchase a used car in December 2014. I already had secured financing from my bank. I wanted used because our minivan's lease was due in March 2015 and I wanted to lease another minivan. I encountered Chuck Prohaska who talked me into a lease car. He assured me it would be no problem to lease again in March. The lease payment was also cheaper than a used car so I went ahead and leased. Fast forward three months and our minivan was up. I went back to Chuck to lease a new minivan. He came back and told me that I was approved and we agreed on a price. Everything was great until he came back and said I could not lease until I pay off my mileage. I have leased before and had over mileage. I have always received a bill after the bank sold the car. I told him I could not do this now and was told I would have to look at a used car. I had never heard of such a thing! I called around to other dealerships. I called Parkway and they told me that they never bill you up front for mileage and that I should be able to lease again. I had Parkway look up my Ally approval since now I would lease from Parkway since they are not asking for the mileage payment upfront. Parkway told me that I was not approved by Ally for a lease car. Ally only approved me for a used car. Chuck Prohaska lied to me to try to get me to buy a used car from Sterling Heights Dodge. If he would have been upfront with me from the start I would have purchased a used car from Sterling Dodge. Instead, Parkway got my business. I would stay away from this dealership all together!

Hello after a horrific experience at Southfield Chrysler/dodge last year at this time where a rep actually raised his voice to me and said what do you want from me and I had been sitting there over 6 hours waiting he acted like I was a bother to him anyway that being said I vowed to never to buy from Chrysler again my sister works for Chrysler and had just bought a truck from Vandyke dodge with a good experience, at her prompting I decided to give her salesman a try, Patrick Blake greeted me with great enthusiasm and was very knowledgeable I felt like he actually wanted my business he was patient and helpful especially in my case my credit is less than perfect and between him and Mark in financing who saved the day my overall experience was wonderful the time it took to close, the staff, the selection of trucks, the cleanness of the dealership etc... was just wonderful, as a employee of Costco Wholesale we strive and succeed at customer service to a point I haven't been able to find at any other business except NOW FROM STERLING VANDYKE DOGE AND PATRICK BLAKE I normally would not take the time to write this but my experience was so good I wanted make sure Patrick Blake and the dealership got recognized for a outstanding experience

I purchased a used T&C, very good pricing, but slick used car salesman (Marty). I am leary any way, however, there was minor damage on the front bumper and part of the deal is that the damage would get repaired before delivery. That part is true. However, 3 months later, upon washing the car (for the 2nd time), the paint on the repair area started flaking off. The body shop tried not to stand by their work. After intervention from a higher manager, they agreed to give a loaner out and repair the shotty work. I dropped the car off at 8:30am. By 3 pm, my wife, not me, received a call that it was done. Being in the car repair world for 6 years, there is no way the work was done correctly this time either.I would recommend this dealer based on the good overall pricing, but used sales and body shop are not good to work with.

My husband and I recently moved to the Detroit area. We went to several dealerships in the area and were very turned off by the vulcher mannerism and the long wait just to find out some pricing!!! When we went inside to inquire on a vehicle we were immediately greeted with smiles! We wound up talking to Gary and bought a Dodge Dart! Gary was extremely knowledgable and helpful! He did not try and sell us a car that we did not want! The best part was we did not have to fill out hardly any paperwork till we picked up our car! Stumbled upon this dealership after visiting Jim Riehl and having a horrible experience. So I decided to walk in here and was greeted by bob datilio. Very friendly and answered all my questions and gave me an accurate cost unlike the other place. The finance manager was wonderful and it was fast and no pressure. We purchased a new vehicle form them in September of 2010, their price was less than any of the other 4 dealerships we went to and they gave us more for our trade in. The vehicle has been in for service twice, the first time the defrost was not completely clearing the window, it turned out that a piece of foam was left in the duct during manufacturing and they showed us the foam. The second time this vehicle has needed service was for a door issue. The door has been realigned and works smoothly. Both times this vehicle had been in for service we were offered a ride home via the shuttle, or the use of a free rental. The car was returned to us clean and nothing was missing the from the vehicle including my glovebox , where I keep loose change and my iPod. The staff has been courteous and helpful, I would recommend them to anyone.

I have had the worst experience at this dealership. I just purchased a used vehicle from them which was a horrible experience. First, we saw the vehicle undetailed, but liked all the options on it. When our sales guy assured us it would be cleaned up upon delivery we said ok. That was a HUGE mistake. The dealership had the vehicle for three weeks before delivering it to me. During that period I went twice to see how it looked and if the repairs they promised where being handled. Because the vehicle looked like a disaster I just wanted to make sure before delivery that it looked ok. After two visits and numerous things still not fixed I was assured that when I picked it up the following day everything would be taken car of. WRONG. This dealership does not know the meaning of the word clean. They said it was "detailed", well at the final walk around there was still pop splattered on the roof of the car there was dirt on the interior and in the cup holders (which in told the sales guy about more than 3 times) there were still stains on the seats which I was promised would be fixedand the list goes on. Mind you the dealership had three weeks to get the car cleaned up for delivery. It was a joke. The sales guy promised us new mats because the vehicle didn't have any. He gave us the cheapest mats I've ever seen and not only that they didn't even match the interior. Also I asked him if he could give me a copy of my proof of insurance he said sure.. I got home and there was no proof of insurance in my paper work. The worst part he didn't even say bye or thank me or do a final walk through to show me that everything was working. I am just so upset. If I didn't need this vehicle and didnt wait three weeks I would have walked away. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. Learn from my mistake take your money an go elsewhere to buy a vehicle, PLEASE!

The service department at this dealership overcharges for basic maintenance.The service department also does not follow recommended factory service procedures for servicing transmission, and violated Chrysler Corporate technical warnings, leading to imminent transmission damage.Dealer did not attempt to resolve the problem and avoided the truth and accountability.Chrysler is in sad shape. They are trying to make up for lost car sales by gouging customers in servicing of their vehicles. They do not give proper attention to the manufacturers specified procedures for maintenance.

This by far the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I should have walked away from but the real problems did not start until after we had signed for the car. The customer service is horrible and they absolutely do not care about taking care of the customer once you have committed to a vehicle. We had to switch sales people mid way through the process because the first one was unprofessional and had no clue what she was doing. She told us that we would have our vehicle in "1-2" and a week later their story changed and the vehicle we had picked out was "very difficult" to locate. Further, she never called us when she committed to and we had to constantly follow-up just to get an update.We had problems with the vehicle 3 weeks after it was purchased and had to deal with the service department. Again, same story, unprofessional and would not follow through on their commitments. They would not provide and equal vehicle for use and would tell us one thing at the start of the day and contradict themselves later. We had another problem (same issue as before) and the experience was even worse. When we tried to voice our concerns to the General Manager, he was completely rude and showed no interest in helping us with our problem. He didn't even bother to introduce himself or get out of his chair when the service manager brought us to meet him. I would never purchase a vehicle from this dealership again nor recommend to my worst enemy this place.

I purchased a new vehicle using the employee purchase.The arrangement with salesman Jim A. was that the dealership was going to pay off my last lease payment and I could keep the car till turn in date.After 2 weeks of purchase I received a bill from Chysler credit stating I still owed them $78.00...The dealership paid off only 2/3 of my remaining payment.Guess what they said when I informed them of this..."You never said you wanted to keep the car till your end of lease date",PEOPLE BE WARNED,THESE GUYS LOSE ALL SENSE OF HONESTY & INTEGRITY AS SOON AS THE DEAL IS DONE.IF YOU DEAL WITH THEM BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS!!!

they tried to charge me a $100 deductible when it did not apply then they tried to charge me $60 labor on something that was covered under warranty. after fighting with these people about these 2 issues they finally agreed i did not owe the money. but i wonder how many people they rob that don't know any better? they fixed an oil leak on my truck that required that they pull the transmission. when i got home i checked the truck for oil leaks that was fine but i noticed a ground strap that goes from the transmission to the under body was torn off instead just taking 1 nut off they tore it off and left it!

The "Service Director", Don Ross is a raging pitbull with an anger management issue. If you like being screamed at by a bulky guy with anger issues then by all means bring your vahicle here. I will never buy another Dodge or Chrysler product due to the horrable experience I have had at this dealership.

This place has the greatest service pricing I've ever seen and the quality of work is super!!! A++ I would definitely recommend this dealer and have all my maintenance and repair work done there-and i didn't even buy the car there but I will now. Service is everything!
