Very pleased with the customer service experience at Stillman Volvo. We like that they don’t play games going back and forth to the “manager” and they thoroughly appraised our current vehicle without holding back on telling us the trade in value before deciding which car we wanted. Our sales agent Kyle was knowledgeable and knows the vehicles very well. He listened to us and what we wanted and did not divert with other suggestions. We would definitely return to this Dealer to purchase a car again!

Nice staff. MUTIPLE CUSTOMERS NOT WEARING MASKS IN THE WAITING ROOM..this is in August of 2020 when masks are mandatory! Yes Volvos are safe cars. My desk where I am working WAS DIRTY! BETWEEN A LACK OF MASKS BY CUSTOMERS AND A DIRTY DESK, OBVIOUSLY STILLMAN IS NOT TAKING PRECAUTIONS SERIOUSLY. Avoid this dealership for the time being. Since day 1 Kyle Butler, from Stillman Volvo, was extremely helpful, patient and understanding while I went through the process of deciding on the purchase of a 100% electric vehicle with the particular Volvo Glacier Silver Metallic. He explained everything on the phone and answered all my questions. On the day of purchase this same assistance continued, as well as with Austin, also from Stillman Volvo, staying overtime, to setup the new car’ computer. The car was 100% charged and in pristine condition, cleaned, wheels and all. Again, many thanks to the team that made reality this purchase.

I came in during a Saturday and they were pretty busy, besides the initial lengthy wait to see a salesman everything was top notch. I got a great deal on a new XC90 T8 which I love. I contacted a competitor first regarding a deal and once I got the feedback that the deal I wanted could not be done it didn't deter me. I got a good deal and would definitely consider Stillman for any future purchases.

I seriously could have screwed up the trade in value of my car (i'm a realist) but they gave me more than I anticipated, which was awesome. NO pressure, NO sales bull. Very easy to deal with. Recently I was forced to trade in a 10-yr-old beloved, but deteriorating, "driving machine.". Purchasing another German replacement was unthinkable as my local dealer for same has become unbearably arrogant. I have always wanted a Volvo wagon and so many of my friends had them over the years. It is a nice, reliable useful vehicle. I came away instead, after driving each, with a practical, yet amazingly FUN XC90. It is very, very comfortable; quick with ample giddy-up when wanted and loaded with extras. My salesman David was courteous and helpful, but not pushy. The service dept. has been prompt and helpful. I am a very satisfied new Volvo driver!

I had an interesting sales process to say the least as it started with Scott Evans (who I had purchased a car from before) for the initial test drive and ended with David as Scott went on vacation, down under, the following day. On the way to the dealership to trade in my car I was involved in a minor accident. It was a complete nightmare for me but David was great the entire time, patient and understanding about the situation, and ultimately I was still able to purchase the XC90. There was a minor fix that I had asked to be taken care of and David, Ted and Scott followed through on their agreement with me to get the item fixed. Any other dealership probably would have blown me off for something so minor but they collectively saw the deal through to the end and that says a lot about not just the dealership but each of them individually. They are all great to work with, highly recommend all 3 of them and I hope to be back for a 3rd purchase in the future, minus the accident on the way there. Denise McElhiney is truly amazing. She has helped us obtain a new Volvo automobile 3 times now in just the past 6 months. The latest one was due to a need I had for a comfortable business car. I looked around at other vehicles, but my wife reminded me how comfortable her new Volvo is to drive, especially long distance, plus the safety features. She didn't have to twist my arm as we both love dealing with Denise. Denise treats you like a family friend. I'm waiting to be invited to her next family bar-b-que, as she is so personable and helpful. I told her what I was looking for in a business wagon and she had me test drive a couple of options. She knew exactly which one I would choose. She worked out a deal that required no negotiation. When you deal with Denise, you have no doubt she has your best interest at heart. I can't tell you how wonderful that is when purchasing an expensive item that your livelihood depends on, as it makes you want to come back to Stillman's again and again when the next car need rolls around. In fact, I will be sending Denise some family business down the road as my daughter loves Volvo automobiles too. Her life and that of her daughter's was spared due to the safety design of the Volvo. He went over the financing with me in detail, which helped me better understand the process and determine the best option for me. He was happy to show me special features about the car I purchased and helped me set-up details of the car's programming that I would have had trouble doing on my own. Moreover, Denise McElhiney in sales is the most knowledgeable and honest salesperson I have ever worked with (I'm 57 years old and have purchased many new cars [VW's, BMW's, Land Rovers!) In 2015, Denise sold me my first Volvo (an XC60). Unfortunately, over the past few months the vehicle had some major engine problems, which required 4 separate repairs. Although Stillman's service department was always prompt and performed excellent service on my car, I was losing confidence in the vehicle's reliability. I loved so many things about my XC60 and I felt I could trust Denise to clearly lay out my options, so I contacted her. She responded quickly and we met the next day; she researched my car's service history and immediately spoke with Jonathan Stillman, who then personally apologized to me that my Volvo had not lived up to Volvo's usual standards. I live in Raleigh, NC. My 2004 S80 Volvo broke down at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA on Wednesday July 20th. I had an ABS brake failure. All the warning lights lit up. I was able to drive from the parking lot to a Starbucks nearby. After that, the car wouldn't start. I had to be towed to the closest Volvo dealer which turned out to be Stillman Volvo. I told them I was visiting my daughter who lived in Lansdale and was planning to return home to Raleigh on Friday July 22nd. I dealt with Greg Donaldson. He got my car looked at that afternoon. They couldn't find anything wrong so we decided to leave it overnight. One of the mechanics agreed to drive it home a 40 mile round trip. While we agreed to this, Greg offered me a ride to Lansdale which was 45 minutes away.We talked on Thursday morning. The mechanic could not get the car to replicate the ABS brake failure. I couldn't get to the dealership until Friday morning on July 22nd. I was shocked to find out when I wanted to pay my bill, THERE WAS NO CHARGE! I wasn't charged because Stillman couldn't definitively determine the problem! AMAZING to say the least.I've driven Volvos for 35 years. They are notorious for having random quirky computer module failures in the summer when it is really hot, like it was on July 20th. Once Stillman cleared the fault codes, my car drove fine.I drove the 400 miles back to Raleigh on Friday afternoon with no problems.I want to thank Greg Donaldson and the service team for looking at my Volvo immediately. I was given a courtesy ride to Lansdale which saved my daughter a 90 minute roundtrip. The mechanic didn't have to drive my car to his home and back but he did.If you own a Volvo and are on the fence as to which dealer in the Philadelphia suburbs to take your car for service or are considering purchasing a Volvo new or used for the 1st time, I would start with Stillman Volvo. Denise McElhiney helped us select our first brand new car ever back in February of this year, and she was wonderful to deal with, and so helpful in guiding our selection. This was our first experience with Stillman Volvo. We loved our new Volvo S60 Inscription AWD, and the granddaughters did too. What happened to us 4 months later was tragic, as a distracted teenage driver slammed into the car going a high rate of speed, while my daughter and granddaughter was stopped at the entrance to our development making a left turn. The car was amazing....it did exactly as designed....the impact was diffused over the outside of the vehicle while the occupants were unharmed and totally protected from shattered glass, whiplash, etc. It shut off the engine automatically, called 911 automatically, it was truly amazing, as the car was designed to save lives. I understand it is Volvo's legacy to put saving lives as priority #1. Our 4 year old granddaughter kept commenting weeks afterwards, Grandma's car is broken. Indeed it was....it was totaled by our insurance company. We were in a panic thinking this was a last new car, and I called Denise for advice on what to do, and she was wonderful. There was no doubt in our minds that we wanted another car just like this one, and Denise made it happen and at a fantastic price with even more features than our original car. When we arrived at the dealership to pick up the replacement car, she had all the paperwork ready to sign and the car was sitting in the service area, all ready to go. It didn't take us more than an hour to drive away, and most of that time was our fault, as we asked Denise to refresh our memory on how to set things up again. She is a whiz at this, as she drives a Volvo herself. Honestly, Denise is the most trustworthy, compassionate, and friendly car sales associate I've ever dealt with, and I've been buying cars for the past 45 years.

I was frustrated with my 2008 XC-90. Was tired of dumping money in to this truck. I was in tears and did not know what to do. I was determined not to put another dime into my truck nor was I going to take it home. I was walking around Stillman's show room floor trying to calm my nerve from the information I received from the service department about my Volvo. I walked out side the Stillman's car lot and came back in to the show room floor. When out of no where came the Volvo superhero David Parry. Who was able to calm my nerve with all off his people skills and knowledge of Volvo. I believe David could see my frustrations all over my face. He asked me how could he help me and I unleashed all of my frustration on him and he just listened. I told David that I seen a trucked I wanted and he took me over to that truck and I test drove that truck. David asked me was I sure I did not want to take my 2008 home with me and my exact words were "OH xxxx NO"!!!. All laugh a side David Parry love his job and it shows. He is a professional, knowledgeable of what is he is sailing, charismatic and ladies he is easy on the eyes. David is a great Salesman and I left Volvo completely happy. Thank you again David.

David did everything and went that extra mile to make this deal not only pleasant but extremely smooth and without any hassles of any kind. We were visiting from Virginia by Amtrak so as to avoid driving two cars back home and he made sure his driver (Jamal, another great guy) picked us up from the station nearby at the perfect time. I wish we could have bought them also at Stillman.I showed up unannounced at the showroom wanting to kick some tires on the XC60. David Parry was kind enough to show what he had in stock and following a test drive a few days later, we talked numbers. I felt that David was always on my side in reaching a purchase price. He was fair and focused on seeing me leave in this car. He was also exceptionally patient explaining both the hardware and software of the vehicle's equipment to both myself and my wife. I think someone at Stillman wrote the book. "How To Treat A Customer Right" because they always do.I have used Stillman's Service Department for the past 11 years. All their technicians are fluent in "Volvoese"; they always take the time to explain the most cost effective solution to a problem. Having grown up inside of and owned about ten different Volvos, I have had a lot of experience with different Volvo dealerships. Immediately when I walked in, I could tell that this dealership was different. There were museum-quality vintage Volvos scattered throughout the dealer and I was immediately greeted by the very knowledgeable staff. They made sure every step of the way that I was satisfied. The salesman, Kyle Butler, was absolutely excellent to deal with. Being a Volvo enthusiast, I was shocked that I actually learned some things from the salesman, as most of my experiences have been teaching them something about the car I'm test driving. The process was friendly, quick and painless. I had to return the next day due to arriving too late at the dealership, and they even set me up with a loaner. Kyle stayed late both days to ensure that I was comfortable and happy with everything related to purchasing the vehicle. Even after the sale I forgot something in the loaner, and he set up to have it mailed back to me and checked up on my experience with the new vehicle. I consider myself an expert on Volvo dealerships, and this one certainly takes the cake. It was well worth my two-hour trip, passing several other Volvo dealerships.

I located the exact car we wanted on the Stillman website after struggling to come to terms with our local dealership. After calling Stillman, we received a call back from David Parry. Little did we know this would be the most pleasant car purchasing experience we've ever had. David was super responsive and pleasant. Most of the paperwork was done before our arrival and we were in and out of the dealership in under 90 minutes. I spoke to David on the phone before making the 2 hour trip to see the car, and he went above and beyond to get info on the car and send me additional pictures. When I got there, the car was exactly as described. I put a deposit on the car that day and picked it up a couple of days later with my wife. The car was in immaculate condition, had great service records and relatively low miles for a car of that 'age'. My family and I have been going to Stillman Volvo since 2002 when we bought our 2nd Volvo. We had originally bought the vehicle from Wynn Volvo and didn't like the service there. We tried Keystone Volvo and didn't like the service there either and then finally found Stillman Volvo. Praise the Lord! Wow, what a difference! Even though we didn't buy our vehicle from them, they still treated us like family. The service manager and advisors were always really nice and greeted us as we entered the service department. The technicians are very knowledgeable and my vehicle was always fixed and/or serviced right the first time. I know a lot of people say dealers rip you off, most of them do, but I always found Stillman Volvo's prices to be reasonable and competitive. I have mechanics in my family and they even said Stillman Volvo was reasonable and honest in their quotes and service costs. We later ended up buying 3 more Volvos from Stillman with the assistance of Jonathan, the sales manager, because we loved dealing with them so much. He is very professional and easy to work with. He recognizes our vehicles when we come in for service and comes to greet us. They really do make us feel like part of the family. We love getting our cars serviced here so much, my sister drives her car down from NJ to get her S40 serviced and my brother actually down from the BOSTON area to get his XC60 serviced. Stillman Volvo is THAT GOOD! Our family has owned Mercedes, Lexus, BMW, Infiniti, etc....and no one's service even comes close to that of what Stillman offers. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone that cares about the safety of their family and their car. I wouldn't take my S60R anywhere else and neither should you! STILLMAN VOLVO FOR LIFE!

He worked with me to facilitate an out of state purchase, including helping with travel arrangements from the train station to the dealership. The car was exactly as described.David was a pleasure to work with, and followed up just the right amount/frequency before and after I committed to the purchase.As far as paperwork, there were some minor glitches due to being out of state, but they fixed them right away, and the overall purchase time was still the shortest of any car I've bought, which is a huge plus.Would definitely purchase from them again!

My husband knew immediately upon speaking with David P. on the phone that it would be a good experience to choose this dealership over many other Volvo dealerships that were much closer and also offered the vehicle we wanted. David was not the "wheeler dealer" type; not the cold, hard sell that is quite common in car salesmanship. Instead, he was extremely friendly, quite humorous, very informative and beyond helpful. I would have bought a car years ago if I'd known it was going to be this easy and fun. I wanted a replacement for my 9 year old SUV so I called the dealership and made an appointment to test drive a car I'd seen online. Went for a nice long drive and kept waiting for the sales pitch and pressure, but it never came. Denise addressed all my important criteria, showed me some cool features of the car and then made me a very fair offer. I felt like I needed to see another car at a different dealership and Denise understood that perfectly. I took her card and had an appointment to see the other car but then changed my mind and decided I wanted the one I had driven. I sent an email to make another appointment with Denise and was driving home in my new car about 2 hours later. (It would have been quicker, but we took it for another spin.) I sort of wish I needed another car so I could do it all again.

"The entire experience was exceptionally delightful. Denise McElhiney was our salesperson. She spent a lot of time with us answering our questions. There was never any pressure. Denise was very patient; her explanations were precise, sometimes technical but always clear. She made sure we understood before addressing the next question.Due to our time constraints, we were unable to complete the process in one day - Denise took care of that by setting up a second visit.What was most surprising is that Denise handled the entire process....we are used to being handed off to a Finance manager, and a person who pressures us to buy what we consider useless optional protection plans, etc. Denise did make us aware of a few plans, but in a very low key and respectful manner.Usually a pleasant dealer experience is ""icing on the cake"", but Denise made us feel so welcome and comfortable that it was almost like the car was the ""icing on the cake"" (not quite, LOL, but you should get the point)."

Purchased S60 T5 Drive E 2015.5 on 8/31/2015 with no knowledge of the stop start motor until we drovethe car in traffic after we had it a few weeks. The test drive and explanation of the car never mentionedthis nuisance of Drive E. We discovered everything from Volvo Customer Service but they have no powerover the franchised dealers. They offered a trade for a 2016 all wheel drive at an exorbitant price whichwe could not accept. Very deceitfu in telling us they could permanently disengage the Drive E and bringthe car in the next day. Verifying this info with Volvo Customer Service, it was prohibited to do this!!!Stillman said they have done many cars already! ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. AVOID!

I've owned two S60s in the past and am currently leasing a 2016 S60 Cross Country, which I absolutely love. I bought my first Volvo in 2009 from John, on a day I stopped at Stillman's to "just look." I'm so happy John was working that day, because he was the perfect salesman to help me understand the difference between models, the advantages Volvo offered, and answer my numerous questions -- all without high-pressure sales tactics, which I'd experienced at other dealerships. It was John I went to a few years later to trade up to a new model, and, again, John rose to the occasion, explaining the newer features and giving me what I felt was a fair trade-in value. I am particularly sold on BLIS (your blind spot detector), and John made certain the new Volvo had that feature. He again went out of his way to find a car that matched my specific needs.When I learned that the S60 CC would be arriving this summer, I again contacted John. He promised to call me when it arrived, and he did -- the same day it arrived in your lot. We went on a test drive, and I fell in love with it. I particularly like sitting up higher than in a regular S60, and I like not having a hatchback, which I have no need for and never found attractive in cars. You'd never believe the looks I'm getting on the road -- especially from other Volvo drivers! Drove 1 1/2 hours to another dealership earlier in the day. The car we were very interested in purchasing was at local event. When we asked to go see it, we told not sure where it was as they had 8 cars multiple locations. No offer to get it for us or take us there to see it. Disappointed, we left and drove another hour to Stillman's. It was Saturday afternoon and they were very busy. We had to wait a little for a salesperson and took our place in line. We were concerned when didn't see the car on the lot that we had seen online. We were then assigned Denise McElhiney, who looked it up and said it was off site and would get it for us to drive. She told us hadn't been prepped for test drive, but would do it quickly so we could take it out. They quickly prepped the car and while we were waiting, we were offered coffee and to check out a fantastic 164 in the showroom. Denise was very friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with. We talked about a number of things, and when the car was prepped, we took it for a test drive. I asked her how long she was a sales representative at Stillman's. She said 4+ years, but said she said she didn't sell cars, people buy them from her. We all laughed at that comment and she was right. Afterward we purchased it on the spot. Great job Denise! It was late in the day, however they took care of everything and we were able to bring it home. The rest of the staff, including the business manager was very professional. In fact the owner was helping to prep two cars for delivery at 5:30 on Saturday evening. All and all, an exceptional experience. It is not a surprise that are the great dealership, still going strong after 50 years. This dealership "get's it" and I can see why they have the repeat business and the floor traffic they do. My first purchaser at Stillman and probably won't be our last. As a side note, we previously purchased a pre-owned Volvo that originally came from Stillman.

This was my first service appointment since I bought my Volvo convertible in June and the staff was exceptional! My car was taken on time and done in 40 minutes-washed and service completed. I submitted a $10 coupon for my oil change and Paul was happy to deduct it, even after the invoice was processed. Just as impressive were the other members of the service team, who explained to a customer that his service may take a bit longer than he had anticipated, and immediately offered a ride home. Within 15 seconds, another member of the service team asked the customer if he was ready to go.I am in the financial services industry and in my business, an exceptional client experience in each interaction is expected and, hopefully, delivered. I genuinely believe this experience may have been the best exhibit of teamwork and responsiveness I have have observed as a consumer ! Give all those gentlemen a raise!!

Stillman Volvo has serviced my car since it was purchased in 1996. The service personnel are always friendly, efficient, informative, and up front. I have never had a bad experience in the last 18 years. There are exceptional accommodations for those waiting for their cars. I especially like the cubicles that offer free WiFi and privacy to get work done while sipping on your favorite Keurig beverage from the hospitality counter.My experience has always been positive and exceptional at Stillman. I have a 1999 S70 and I get the same service as if I had a late model Volvo. I have gotten very fast, same day repairs, very reasonably priced for high quality dealer service. Whether I'm buying parts and doing my own minor repairs or have dealer level maintenance, I get treated like a VIP! I love this dealership! For all the bad raps new car dealers get, I recommend you try Stillman for any Volvo needs. I pass Stillman Volvo everyday going to workI would see many attractive vehicles out on the lot wondering if any had my name on it. My wife and I went to Stillmans to talk about Volvos. We met John Kennell who showed us several models. We were not familiar with the sizes and all the styles. John was very patient and professional. He answered my questions with clarity. You could tell he liked his products.My wife returned with her parents since it was important to have sufficient comfort and room for them and their walkers. They, as well as I were sold on the XC70. Not too big, not too small just right. John arranged a test drive and we were very happy with the ride, quietness of the cabin and all the features of the wagon. Our XC70 was delivered, prepped and inspected. John was prepared, had all the paper work in a binder to minimize any delays. We signed on the dotted lines and the XC70 was ours. John went over the functionality of the Volvo and programed our cell phones for hands free operation. We drove away very satisfied with the purchase.Part IILess than 1 week later my commuter vehicle started acting up and I needed a replacement. I had done much internet research on a replacement. I needed a smaller vehicle with good mileage and all wheel drive. As I reviewed additional vehicles I found myself leaning toward the S60. I called John up for a test ride. Johns continued professionalism and good customer rapport helped me make the deal Two Volvos in the driveway was not planned but my wife and I are pleased with the purchases from Stillmans Volvo.

The car was sold to me as a well maintained vehicle - but as I found out after purchasing it - it was not.The condition was miss-represented before the sale.1. The door dings promised in the sales rep. original e-mail would be fixed - never were.2. The rear breaks were claimed to have 1/2 life left but barely legal when I had the car inspected (almost failed inspection but was given a break). 3. The tires have only 1/2 life left not the 3/4 I was told. 4. The car was sold as having the original v70R owners manual but there was none and it was not provided.5. The wheels were supposed to be in good condition but I encountered quite a bit of vibration when driving it home from Pa. - had the balance checked on the wheels - My shop uses a Hunter Road Force Balancer - 3 of the four wheels were so bad they could not balance them - new wheels needed. How a person who maintains their car well could drive with these wheels - I think I was lied to. 6. When they replaced some of the front strut parts they did not replace the rubber bellows and associated parts as they are now just hanging down - not protecting anything. 7. There is a wet spot on the front "bevel" box.8. The radio sometimes has a hard time holding a station. I found several other things broken that a person who well maintains a car or a dealership that cares about a car they sell would not have allowed. And I probably have not found everything yet.1. Gas door.2. Windshield wiper. This looks like a dealership that looks good from the outside but look underneath and there are some serious problems. All show and no go. I would have been better off purchasing a car from a dealer/person who actually maintained their car.

For many years, I dreamed of owning the beautiful Volvo convertible, C70. Volvo stopped making them in year 2013. Every time, I would take my 1998 Volvo in for service, Mr Robert Corse would answer any questions when I inquired about the C70. In the fall of 2013, I finally committed to buying one of the last few red convertibles. Things were falling in place and I couldn't be happier. My pickup date was in the beginning of December 2013 and that was the week I was diagnosed with cancer. Not knowing if I could keep this car or what to do, Robert allowed me more time to figure things out while I was getting final treatments options and prognosis. He knew that I loved this car but again there was no pressure. He just allowed me more time to make a decision and he held the car. I knew that he could have sold this car very quickly.At the end of December, Robert and a coworker delivered that beautiful dream car to my home personally, and put it in my garage. I was too weak to pick it up or drive at that time. I was deeply touched how Robert cared so much to hold this car and deliver it to me personally. He was highly professional in the purchase of the car but really he truly cared about the individual.Today, eight months later, I am cancer free, and driving my beautiful Red convertible!

My experience was the complete opposite at Stillman, I was greeted by Denise in the lot that morning ( I didn't have an appt.) and within 45 minutes she had found the exact car that I wanted at a fabulous price. I have been buying and servicing my Volvos at Stillman for more than two decades. During that time I have had positive dealings with a significant number of their staff members. Last week I took my car there for a routine 22,000 mile check up, and a few minor service issues. My service visit was a standard for Stillman, GOLD standard! They never patronize me, they treat me with the respect that I have come to expect, which makes it virtually impossible for me to even consider buying a car at another dealership. John Kennell has dispelled the myth of shady car salesmen, and Rob McKee's team of service consultants gets the job done quickly, with little inconvenience on my part. That feeling of being a valued customer is what encourages me to refer friends and family members to the dealership, but it takes more than a "feel good" to sell cars. Stillman successfully backs up my promises by delivering consistently excellent service to anyone I refer. They get it! I know that they will soon begin a major renovation to their already beautiful facility, but hope they don't change the people and practices that makes them the great dealership that they already are. We visited Stillman Volvo after being told by another Volvo dealer that they couldn't help us lower the sticker price. We arrived right before closing. We were met by Robert Corse, and instead of telling us they were closing in 15 minutes, he told us to take all the time we needed to look at, discuss, and test drive the car. Once inside, Frank had no problem helping us to reach our goal, and Denise was a lovely, happy presence helping Robert with our paperwork. As my husband and I were trying to figure out a way to get back to Stillman the next day to retrieve our new but used car, Robert made arrangements for us to drive it home THAT night. You're probably wondering about the last minute detailing. Robert gave us an IOU to come back at a later date that would suit us. These three exemplary employees stayed well beyond closing time to ensure I was happy. Talk about teamwork and customer satisfaction! They definitely made a new lifelong customer in us that evening, and although the dealership is not that close to our house, we will be making the drive to service our car! I had visited another local dealership prior to purchasing my SC60 AWL from Stillman Volvo. I had been turned off by the other dealership's pushy behavior. I had also been told the color car I wanted could not be locatedon the East Coast and was instead offered colors of cars on the lot. When I went to Stillman, John Kendell was extremely helpful and within minutes located multiple SC60 AWL vehicles to choose from in the color I wanted, which showed me that the other dealer had not really attempted to locate the car in the color I wanted and was instead hoping to convince me to buy something they wanted to move from inventory.This kind of outstanding service took all the stress out of car buying. i would skip the other deqalerships and head directly to Stillman.

Stillman Volvo has been a friend to me since 2009. I first purchased a Used Volvo S60. Brad Stillman was extremely friendly and helpful. In 2012, I leased a new S60 T5 FWD and with my lease coming up in a few months, I called Brad to say what I would be looking for in another vehicle and to please call me when it was the right time and car. About a month later, Brad and his brother had a great deal and helped me get into an AWD S60. The whole dealership is extremely warm and inviting. If you need a loaner, it is quick and if you plan to stay, there is coffee, tea, bagels, WiFi and popcorn. You will Rob McKee and the whole service staff very accommodating and knowledgeable.Integrity. It is what I am looking for in a car dealership and Stillman Volvo has this.

I had been in search of a used XC90 for over three months and was the owener of an S80. I had been to several dealerships that were not direct Volvo dealers. I was given the runaround and prices were not fair or over priced for the milage on the SUV's. I began to search for XC90's in my price range that were at Volvo dealerships. I had been given the run around by several. I called Frank and explained the if a deal was could be reached between us and the XC90 was as presented I would buy the same day. I provided the information over the phone and the net. Frank called me back within two hours with my options. I drove the sixty some miles after an 11 hour day working. I was met by John Kemmell whom had all the paperwork, with XC90 in deatiled shape and with gas for me to return home in. I reviewd the SUV and all my questions were honestly answered. The deal was closed and I exchanged items from the S80 leaving in the last purchase I hope to make as I will retire soon. What a pleasure after dealing for over two weeks with another Volvo dealer being told I was approved, then I needed more down money and fianlly that the loan would not process due to the age of the SUV in question. A two hour wait, A drive of less distance and home in the same day. Congratulations are in order to all involved to include the people behind the seens in preperations, matinenance ect. Hats off to all. If your buying new or used talk to these people, them may not be magicians but they sure seem willing to try to acommidate. I my case did. My son was in the market for a newer used P/U truck and found one he wanted to check out at Stillman Volvo. We were not planning on purchasing on this day, but long story short my son couldn't let this truck pass him by. From the time we arrived to ultimately when we left (after they officially were closed) everyone we spoke with, especially Rich, Frank and Brad were extremely helpful, and professional. Oh by the way, we also got a good deal to boot. The truck is a beauty and my son is extremely happy in owning his first vehicle! There were many little hurdles Rich worked with us on and all the way extended himself to accommodate us. It was truly a pleasurable experience and one which we sincerely appreciated after having experienced the other side of car shopping earlier that day. Stillman Volvo was recommended to me a family member and friend when I was in the market for a new car in 2012. I shopped the local Volvo dealer in Wilmington before finally going to Stillman. I received a friendly greeting from the receptionist and was intoduced to Rich Lawlor as my sales associate. Rich made the sales process very easy and enjoyable. I felt that he understood what my intersets were and was working on my behalf to get me the best deal possible. I walked into the dealership with an expectation of receiving a much larger trade-in value than I received. Rich explained that my car had been involved in an accident and even though the car was in very good shape that was the reason it had been devalued. I didn't know anybody at Stillman but I do now Robert Corse and Frank Katen his manager made buying this car an easy experience. Buying a car can sometimes be a headache but Rich Lawlor made the experience easy. His knowledge of the cars was exceptional. He didn't pressure me into making a decision. Rich also handled the finance end really well. He brought me a figure I could afford. So now I drive a really safe, beautiful car. Another great thing about Stillman is that weather you're buying a car or just coming in for service, everyone is friendly. Another thing I should mention about Rich Lawlor is that when I called him with a few questions, after work hours, he actually answered the phone! I'm quite pleased with the car I just bought but it was the first time I have walked into a dealership not 100% sure of what I wanted to buy. I had a few requirements, but Volvo had at least five models that covered those and it fell to Denise to help me sort and clarify what I needed from what I wanted. I am sure that I sat in every car in the showroom. We discussed every one and various ways to configure each and the advantages and disadvantages of every one. Her sense of humor served her well.Thank you to Denise for simplifying the process and winnowing the choices down until I was sure that what I wanted was, in fact, exactly what I wanted. In many ways customer and dealer are in adversarial positions and the process can be stressful and confusing for the customer. It was no different this time, but by the time I walked out with the key in my pocket, I can honestly say I was satisfied that I had been given a fair deal and I had a car that wasn't just what I wanted but also what I needed.If you scan walk out of a dealership smiling and upbeat as I did, and not feeling like you just went 3 rounds against a prizefighter, you can say you did well.As a side note, for two weeks, Denise and Sean in the accessories department have cheerfully answered my questions about the remarkable "gee-whiz" technology in the car.In the spirit of honesty, I was predisposed to like the dealership. My wife bought her car there years ago and at the time came home amazed at how easy and pleasant it was to buy her car.

We visited on 12/31/2014 regarding an earlylease turnin and to see what we could replace our 2011 S80 with. We had seen an offer from another dealer on an S60 T and thought we might be able to do something similar. Denise worked with us to get us into a new S60 with no money out of pocket for a price we were very happy with. This was probably the best car buying experience I have ever had. Everyone in the dealership was professional, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The sales consultant , Allen Hannigan, provided a no-pressure experience (including two unaccompanied test drives by both myself and my wife) and thoroughly explained all aspects of the sale and car when I took delivery. The deal was very good and fair, and eliminated the need to haggle, even with the trade-in. Have not had the car in for service yet, but expect that experience will be similar.

You would think I was the most important customer at Stillman that day, and not the purchaser of perhaps the lowest-price used vehicle on the lot! Denise McElhiney went out of her way to make me feel welcome, and gave me a great deal on my Nissan Frontier. She even delivered the truck to my home later that day, and drove away the trade-in. Stillman even honored a $100.00 coupon which I failed to present at the proper time, and reprinted the whole transaction to give me that saving. I thought that was classy.

My experience with Stillman was really good. I had been trying to work with several dealers in the metro Atlanta area as well as Tennessee and they did not provide good prices. I live in metro ATLANTA. I went to Auto Trader.com and found Stillman. I worked with Denise and told her the price I wanted to pay and that was all I did. The other Dealers played the back and forth game and that is frustrating. They wanted me to pay for packages that I did not want in order to get other packages. The car was delivered to me, too. More importantly the paperwork that had to go to the County tag office was done without error.

I love Stillman Volvo. I have purchased 2 cars from them. The sales staff, I feel,is honest and truly try to be helpful. As far as service, they are incredibly accommodating and I feel their policies are extremely fair. They have many courtesy cars but if you need to wait ( many services are done in less time so waiting is not bad) they have free WIFI and a room where you can set up and work. They also offer coffee, tea and bottled water....and if you come in the morning there are bagels and cream cheese and the bagels are delicious!

Only visited the service department about 5 times for recalls and regular maintenance but each and every time the service representatives were cold and appeared annoyed that I was there. Additionally, the sales guy couldn't sell me enough on the service department and the availability of loaner cars while your car is being services but good luck getting one. Even when your car is in for warranty repairs, arrange for someone to puck you up. Overall, they are just poor in my view and I now go out of my way to have my car serviced at Keystone Volvo. They are great.

Stillman has been servicing my 2004 S80 for about 6 years. Paul and the other service advisors are always polite and prioritize the items found by the service technicians when they review the service requirements with me. We agree on a work plan and it is completed when promised. I don't hesitate to bring the car to them whenever a problem arises, from an "urgent transmission problem" to a headlight bulb replacement while on the road. Stillman offers fantastic customer service AND integrity! I took our 2001 V70 in for new tires and a realignment - about a $700 service. After putting the car on the lift, the Master Technician (Jim McCrosson) determined that the tires had plenty of remaining tread and really didn't need to be replaced yet. Bet the big box store where I've purchased tires in the past would have happily sold the new tires without looking at the current ones. Kudos to Stillman for honesty and top notch service advisors and technicians!!

I had never been there before - I purchased my Volvo at Cherry Hill Volvo in Cherry Hill, NJ. I was told there was nothing they could do and that the recall did not cover Pennsylvania. In other words Cherry Hill Volvo lied to me and I will never take my vehicle there again nor will I refer anyone there. The Sales professionals have been great and I bought the vehicles at a great price every time with straight forward deals. My experience dealing with the highly professional Service consultants and/or the Service Manager Rob McKee has been outstanding and they have taken a very good care of my car everytime with reasonable charges and under no circumstance I had to go back to fix a problem arising out the service. great customer service!!! our family had purchased our first volvo after many years at a different location but did not like their service. we changed to different dealers trying to find a good service department that didn't give us a lot of hassle (keystone, wynn, etc) until we found stillman volvo. the service manager rob and his staff for the most part are very knowledgeable and have a good background and understanding of car maintenance. they're quick with their service and provide loaner vehicles and shuttle service should you need it. my family liked the service department so much that we purchased 3 vehicles from them since our initial visit. we recommend them all the time and many of our friends drive over from NJ just to get their car serviced! don't be hesitant to voice any concerns or dissatisfaction (if there ever are any) as stillman and its staff will do all they can to make your auto service experience the best of any local dealer. i've dealt with mercedes benz of west chester, wilkie lexus, devon bmw, keystone volvo, infiniti of west chester, infiniti of ardmore, euromotor cars mercedes in devon, and no one's service in my opinion is as good as stillmans.

On February 22nd, I picked up a sheet metal screw that flattened the driver-side rear tire. By the time I got off the highway to a safe side street, the tire was ruined. So, I needed to get a new tire put on the car in a hurry that morning.I drove my car to Stillman Volvo on the space-saver spare. Although I had not called ahead or scheduled an appointment, Scott took me right in when I got to Stillman's.Not only did they put a new tire on the car that was the same make and type as the ruined one, they washed the car and got me back on the road in an hour.Needless to say, I truly appreciated the great service, great work, and great price I received that morning. I highly recommend Stillman's Service Department.

Jim McCrosson is a talented technician who sees potential problems and makes our XC70's reliable. From routine maintenance to major repairs on our 150,000 mile plus vehicles, his insight and work have been perfect over the years. The Service Department at Stillman is the reason we have Volvos.

I have been coming to Stillman for several years for service on my S60 sedan and V70 wagon. For years the V70 had a continuing problem coming out of park (on occasion). I live in Maryland and Bill Kidd Volvo in Timonium replaced the brake light switch while the car was under warranty, but this did not fix the problem. I brought the car to Stillman, and Rob McKee and Ted worked with me for about a year before the problem could be issolated to the panel under the shifter. It was replaced at Ted's suggestion several wees ago, and seems to be the culprit. I am finally confident to let my wife drive the car again!Rob even gave me a number to call if the shifter got stuck in park, so he could try and issolate the problem. I drive an XC90 and my wife drives an S40. I have been dealing with Stillman Volvo for the past several years that we have owned our cars. We have had regular service functions performed on our vehicles. Whether it be a warranty, state inspection or other routine service, the treatment we receive by the service department is top shelf. I ran a HVAC service department for a large corporation, for many years, and I consider myself qualified to recognize "exceptional customer service" when I see it. Starting with the call to schedule to the minute we pull off the lot we feel very confident that we are in good hands. The purpose our most recent visit to Stillman Volvo was to test drive and possibly purchase a Volvo S60. We were referred to Sales Consultant Robert Corse. We found Robert to be very relaxed, personable and knowledgeable. Following Robert's preliminary description of the car's features and a test drive, we were shown the inventory available with the options and color we were interested in. Factoring in Volvo's Loyalty discount for repeat Volvo customers, we quickly agreed on a price I know to be very competitive based on the USAA Insurance Company's new car buying program. When we returned to pick up the car, Robert was very thorough and patient in explaining the car's features in detail. It has been my experience in industry that the character of an organizations staff is a reflection of management attitude and values, which in this case reflects well on Stillman. Our car buying experiences in the past have often been irritating and trying. This experience with Stillman was pleasant and stress free.I am not surprised. I bought a Volvo S80 sedan from Stillman about 12 years ago. All of the servicing on that vehicle has been done by Stillman's Service Department. I have also found that department, of which Rob McKee is the manager, to be equally competent, efficient and honest. I have always been satisfied with the work they have done and have had them tell me when work I requested was not necessary. Simply put, I trust them.

I purchased my S60 two years ago and was treated fairly. I decided at that time I would use the service department for all my service needs. It has proven to be a positive and beneficial decision. I am greeeted by an employee who is friendly and ready for my arrive, with paperwork already printed as to why I am there. While waiting, a service employee will update me with the status of the work being performed and how much longer they will be. At checkout I am then shown line by line what work was completed before getting in my freshly washed car. Courtesy and professionalism is what you can expect at Stillman Volvo.

My husband and I have been buying volvo's for years through Stillman Volvo and we always walk away with a great experience! The last time I was in for an oil change, I wasn't excited that I had to bring both of my kids in, but I was pleasantly surprised that they had such a great playroom for my kids. My kids had so much fun they didn't want to leave! :)

I dealt with Robert Corse (sp?) in the sales department and several people in service. All are a pleasure to deal with. Regarding the service department, they value my time. My car is always ready when they say it will be and it is serviced properly. They make sure all the necessary parts are available so I don't have to make return trips for the same problem. I highly recommend having your Volvo serviced at Stillman even if you didn't buy it there.

I dealt with David Stillman at Stillman Volvo and I couldn't have been treated any better. He went out of his way to keep in touch with me during the buying process, and he was able to obtain a ridiculously low finance rate for me. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again and I highly reccomend him and his dealership.

Great folks to work with. I drove there from Northern VA because they "got it" that I am/was not interested in some dealer's "sales process". I tried to make it clear to dealers here I had no time nor tolerance of their process...I could not care less about what they want to do or want me to do. Don't have your sales person work a deal with me and then some arrogant "sales manager" tell me he needs another 1,000 bucks. Don't have a parade of floor mat, window tint, paint sealer, road hazard, etc. sales people come pitch their stuff to me.John Kennell made it clear to me he would handle all aspects and he did. Smooth, fast, courteous and professional.He followed up on everything I asked and was nearly instantly responsive every time.Highly recommended!

I bought a 2006 c70 from Stillman. I have always found their staff to be friendly and courteous. The quality of their work is always top notch, to date. If any problems arise during service, they have always found a way to minimize any inconvenience to me and my family. The guys in the parts department are professional and knowledgeable about all Volvo parts for all models. My overall experience with Stillman has been better than any other car dealership I've dealt with in the past. I am considering purchasing a new c70 from them later this month.

I had a mouse problem in my car. Took it to Stillman to be fixed, and entered an insurance claim. The mice had torn up some things, and this was going to be replaced. I asked for them to totally fumigate and throughly clean the car, which I had to pay extra for, (insurance won't pay for cleaning)so off went my car with the promise it would all be taken care of. Got the car back 2 weeks ago, it baked in the sun on the 3rd day I had it back, and smelled of urine... mouse urine(a smell which I had in the car prior to turning it in to be "CLEANED").Made me wonder how well was this actually cleaned... Then I got busy and friends were coming in from out of town etc etc. Friday, a week after I got it back, I went to put my third row seat up for my kids to sit in, with my friends in the middle. To my horror, there was mouse crap all over the seats.... grey, hard OLD mouse crap. So, I called the dealership, spoke with asst. manager and told him my issue, and said basically your cleaning department "sucks" .(first word that came to mind) He was very apologetic and I made an appt. for yesterday, Monday 7.20.09 to be re-cleaned. After getting off the phone with him, I thought, lets look at the back cargo part, underneath where there was a mouse hole chewed and mouse crap everywhere. (this is one of the places I stuck a Bounce sheet when I first discovered mice in my car and I did research on how to get rid of them before the insurance claim etc., I stuck Bounce sheets everywhere I could, and it worked to get rid of them) When I lifted up the cargo space behind the 3rd row seat, I was SHOCKED and dismayed to say the least. There was my Bounce sheet still sitting there, mouse crap was everywhere.... thus, no cleaning at least back here!!!! And, a spot of "urine" that was "missed" when they "cleaned" it. I called them back, spoke with the asst. manager again, and again, he was very sorry, and my appt. was on Monday to get it all straightened out. Yesterday, I went to dealership, turned in my car, and asked asst. mananger to look at my problem, and what they didn't fix with my insurance money, and I showed him the cargo space, (he was appalled to say the least) then I said"there's still a hole where they chewed that the insurance company paid you to replace" and he said, "No, this (and he pulled off the corner panel)is what we were paid to replace, and showed it to me, and there it was, clawed.. chewed panel on the inside, what was "supposed" to be replaced, paid for by insurance company. He went white. He assured me it would be taken care of, and I told him don't do anything until my husband talks to either the Gen. manager, or President of company. He agreed. We got a call from Gen. manager, and well, let me say, customer service is not one of his strong points. My husband is a Sales director, and deals with major problems from his prestigious clients such as Univ. of Penn, Childrens Hosp., Drexal Univ., Urban Outfitters, Fox Chase Cancer Ctr., just to name a few, and solves problems on a daily basis, even if the blame falls on the client, he corrects the problem as if he was wrong, and they were right all along. He knows what it takes to give excellent customer service to his clients.... so, you can see why he can't believe how this situation is being handled in such an unprofessional manner. The Gen. manager stuck by the side of his service dept. and basically said the his wife (me) must have just put the Bounce sheets there before she brought it in, because, this car was throughly cleaned. Then proceded to say that the mouse crap and hole (that still had my Bounce sheet stuck in it) that was in there was "new" mouse crap and a new hole... the grey, hard stuff.... "new"... yeah, ok.... Well, we have mouse traps, and a special mouse deterant in our garage right now, and haven't caught or seen one mouse or mouse feces since we turned in the car to be fixed. We have 2 other cars, and haven't had a mouse in either car. So, use your own head and if you want your car to be fixed correctly, and want to trust it was done, don't go to Stillman. What ever happened to the customer is always right??? (Especially when they are!!!)

I must admit that I was somewhat taken back by a review that I read about Stillman Volvo where someone had a negative experience. My experiences there have been quite the opposite. I have never found a more positve car buying experience. I have been to many dealerships from Audi to Honda and no other dealership has given me enough satisfaction to write a review like this prior to finding Stillman. The following is a description of mine and my wife's interactions with Stillman Volvo.I have purchased two vehicles in the last three years from Stillman Volvo and have always found them to be courteous, fair, and straight-forward. Their salesman was able to answer all of my questions without handing me a brochure as to say "find it yourself". I must admit, I do like to do my homework ahead of time and research all I can before making a purchase like this and I get immediately turned off if I feel the salesman doesn't know everything there is to know about the car he is selling. Stillman Volvo has changed the way my wife and I have always percieved car dealerships. We have found that their prices have been very reasonable and the two vehicles that I purchased there were less expensive than other dealerships we visited. Another point I must add is that during both sales, the salesman didn't try to hide any additional costs like "window etching" or extras for "undercoating". He also didn't try to push or appeal to us. Our negotiations also never involved the "let me talk to my sales manager" banter back and forth. He was helpful in sorting out all paperwork and has made what can feel like dreadful experience a joyful one. Prior to purchasing cars from Stillman, the car buying experience was always one that I have dreaded. As for service, I have been fortunate as to not have had much needed. However, the few times that I have been to the service department at Stillman Volvo were fine. Stillman service seems polite and timely. For a positive car buying experience, I would strongly recommend Stillman Volvo.
