The staff at Stone Mountain Toyota are true professionals and absolutely amazing. I went in to see what my purchase options were for a vehicle. They were able to get me into a new 2016 Toyota Corolla. When every one else turned me down. They treated me with respect, listened to my needs, and delivered above and beyond. In addition, the maintenance package included with my purchase is unheard of anywhere. I have never had a car buying purchase experience as pleasant as this. I bought a 2016 Camry at Stone Mountain Toyota. Finance guy first said interest rate was 3.9, which was high. Then he slipped it to 4.4, which was an extra $125. They cut me a check two days later when I complained. Car price was good $19,492, but they made it back with interest rate. My fault. I kept asking the salesman what the interest rate was going to be during test drive. "Tyler" was his name. He wouldn't tell me.Steering wheel has rubbing noise I did not hear over AC during test drive. I tried to get them to fix it. They said they can't. Assistant GM said, "Mr. Glier we didn't make your defective car, Toyota did. We just sell them." I filed Lemon Law with state of Georgia. Do not go to this place.

My Air bag light was on and I came in for it's repair, I was told the cost is $178 , so I dropped it at 8.30am and when it was to be picked at 5.30pm, I discovered the light was still on and I was asked to pay $114 to pick it. I required to know why I should pay such amount when the problem could not be fixed and I can't see any physical work done. When no reasonable explanation was given, I required to speak with the service manager whom I was latter told he was closed for the day. I was forced to pay the money before I could take my van to pick my baby whom has been with baby sitter since I left for work.I don't recommend this service center to anyone. The service is horrible.

I purchased a 2017 Toyota Camry from Stone Mountain Toyota 4 days ago. My Sales Consultant Charles McKoy made sure that my experience was an exceptional one! I test drove a Honda Accord the night before and was not at all impressed with the service that I received, so I didn't have high hopes for my car search. When I walked into SMT and Charles introduced himself, I knew this experience would be a good one. He was friendly, very attentive to what I expressed as a need in a new vehicle and knew this car like the back of his hand. There was no question that Charles couldn't answer and he wasn't pushy or aggressive at all. He gave me time to make the right decision for me! Once i made my decision, I started to work with Derak Rawlings, one of their Finance Directors. He took time to make certain that I understood everything that I was signing and was able to answer any question that I had. He was very personable and professional. I didn't feel like I was just another sale, he was very patient with me. The service that i received from Charles and Derak was superb! I would recommend SMT in a heartbeat. I love my new car!!

I came in for rotation and tire arlignment, instead I came out with oil change which I didn't need. This is the first time this had happened to me at this location, my favorite locations. I have bought all my 3 cars from them. Even with oil change done, I had a website discount for $24.95 for synthetic oil change, I mentioned to them but I was charged a full price of $43 plus. I went back to the service person, he apologized for the mistake and send my car back to service for rotation and tire arlignment ( balance). My car came out after 40 minutes and I was told that rotation and tire arlignment was done. The print out receipts was not given to me. My concern is how am I sure that service was truly done on my car. I wasted a whole day. I was so disappointed and not happy.

Upon my arrival I was met at the entrance by Mr. Mouth. When he sat in the car he noticed the leather covering the gear box was badly twisted on the gear stick. He asked if I was aware the gear handled was loose. of course, I hadn't noticed. He replied," I should check the gear stick to insure it is tight. Thanks Mr. Mouth. When the tires were rotated the caps were still on each valve on each tire. This was wonderful.The waiting area is quite small. As you wait for your car to be serviced you begin to feel claustrophobic.

I call it a "regular oil change and tire rotation", but it's really not. It has become regular because this dealership, and virtually every associate you will encounter, will spoil you. On your initial few visits, you'll be in awe of the experience. Then you become accustomed to it, and might not even give it any thought...until you get back into the real world. And are hit, smack in the face with the standard, "lack luster" service given at most dealerships.

Had my first scheduled (5,000 mile) maintenance which amounted to getting my tires rotated. What should have been a quick appointment ended up lasting two hours. The service representative did her level best but the service department forgot to work on my car which cost me the first hour then they were busy and couldn't get it done until an hour later. My service rep tried contacting the manager to address the issue but multiple tries resulted in no response from the manager.

My company purchased a Camry Hybrid in October of 2013 for me to drive as a company car. We also purchased a maintenance plan and extended warranty. I have undoubtedly loved this vehicle. Currently I have just under 50K miles on it. I get about 35 mpg in the power setting and around 40 mpg in the economy setting. And save for a few issues with the door lock actuators, it has been problem free. I have brought it to Stone Mountain Toyota every 5,000 miles for regular maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, fluid checks, etc.) and for the lock problems, and they have been awesome. John Nadeau in the service department has always taken great care of me and my Camry. When I drop the car off, they always offer me a ride to work (though I usually just walk), and they always have it washed and ready for me to pick up quickly. On my particularly busy days, they have even delivered the car to me. I can not say enough about how great their service has been. The car itself is awesome too. It files, which surprised me since it is a hybrid. I guess I just expected it to be a little sluggish on the top end. And, it's offers a noticeably smooth ride. I highly recommend purchasing a car and having it serviced at Stone Mountain Toyota.

The service I received in the service department at SM Toyota was GREAT from beginning to end. Brad and Ashley were very attentive from the start and made sure I was taking care of from check-in (which was immediate) to check out (quick!). Prior to my visit, I called Ashley many times with questions regarding the part I needed (cost, function, labor) as well as making and changing appointments for me 3 times. Each time I called she was patient, courteous, professional and knowledgeable; and very enthusiastic and friendly. My wait time was 2.5 hours to install a clockspring. Sweet! Thanks, Ashley and Brad!! You guys ROCK!

After owning several Toyotas and being a loyal return customer, my recent experience at Stone Mountain Toyota has made me to begin considering taking my business elsewhere away from Toyota. As a surprise my husband informed me that our next vehicle would be another Toyota 4runner and that he had found one online that he thought I would love. Now keep in mind, my husband was more interested in higher end vehicles, but after months of discussions, he had seemingly came around to the 4runner. So on New Years day, we visited Stone Mountain Toyota and decided to go ahead and make the purchase of TE5077593, VIN:JTEZU5JR2E5077593. In the early stages of the deal, as the sales advisor collected information for the trade and the payoff, another employee approached and asked for the keys to the vehicle that we were interested in purchasing. I advised this person that we were working a deal on the unit and he went away. Moments later this person returned and literally snatched the keys out of my hands, I did not allow him to take it away and immediately asked to speak with the general manager. A sales manager, Richard, identified himself as the general manager, and let me know that yes this is how that they conduct business. Interestingly enough, almost 2 weeks later the vehicle is still listed for sale. I have never encountered a worse example of what not do in the customer service industry and even contacted their customer relations department as we were leaving the dealership, a voicemail was left but we never received a return call from Joshua Schlipp at 678-527-5510. As we were moments from reaching another destination, the sales manager called my husbands phone, he really said to my husband, that he was giving us another chance to buy the 4runner. Clearly delusional.

I tried to buy a car and trade my higher price car in. They gave me a different price for my car on each one I checked out. When I bought my car I didn't like the payments but got it anyway. I traded in a car and paid tax,tag and title cash so I would have equity in the car. They called me the next morning and told me that they got me a lower rate and was able to put a warranty on it. They didn't go over any of it with me just threw a few papers down and said to sign. Now come to find out that the warranty put my car in negative equity and the only place I can deal with because of the warranty is stone mountain Toyota because they sold it to me. Now they will not work with me to get the car I want. I have dealt with them for over 20 years and now stuck in a car I don't like. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND I ADVISE EVERYONE ELSE TO STAY AWAY. I sit up there all day for 7 days and nothing

I received two written quotes from Verna, one of their competent sales people, on a Toyota they advertised on the Internet. Then, I received an email saying the price was wrong and it was almost $3000 more than the advertised price! When I questioned their ethics, the GM, Steve Crane, said condescendingly, that "everyone is entitled to correct a typo" and that I was confused. Would you really want to do business with this car dealer? I'm going elsewhere.

The worst place to buy your or service it. Bought my vehicle about couple years ago and also bought maintenance package. So I come here all the time every 5000 mile to get service done and I also did my service there recently. Here is why I wouldn't recommend this place:1. Long wait to check in - you wait forever at the service entrance with no one even looking your way. I usually wait 15-20 minutes every time without fail.2. Poor customer service - people will walk by you and not even say hey while you are waiting to get checked in. Atleast 5 or 6 people will walk past you and try their best to make no eye contact with you. It's very slow and they don't really care if you have a time to keep.3. Poor maintenance - the only reason I bring it here is because we got the maintenance package. It was the biggest mistake ever. They take like 3 plus hours to do an oil change and they never will give you an honest report on what is going on with your car till its too late. Bought my vehicle like 4 years ago. The very next year after purchase I notice that there is buildup on the battery terminals and I INFORM the dealership. They look at it and say that the terminals need cleaning and charge me for it. Then the year after that this problem is still going on and one day my car didn't start. I towed it into the dealership and tell I INFORM them that battery is dead. They said I need new battery and as always there is a lot of buildup on the terminals. So two years in and I have a new battery and I had to pay for it. Fast forward to two years after the replacement battery and the buildup is still there and one day it didn't start again. The next day it started I took it dealership and I INFORM them that there is a ridiculous amount of buildup and they said I need battery. I told them that this is their fault for not maintaining it and they told me that I had to pay for the pro rated battery plus a new terminal.Keep in mind that this is going to be 3rd battery for a vehicle I purchased almost 4 1/2 years ago. Also keep in mind that I have done all my services at intervals at this dealership since I bought it from here. They always had an opportunity to fix and see the battery buildup and corrosion, but never did they inform me. I always inform them. If they took proper care of my vehicle this would not happen. They will rather have your vehicle deteriorate and then sell something quick to you rather than prevent or take care of an issue right away. They did the same with my tires and waited till the end to suggest that I need new tires. By that time I already had another place in mind and got it down there. This is such an awful place and I made a big mistake purchasing my vehicle hear. They don't keep their promises at the sales desk and don't honor anything. All they do is try to rip you off. And when I called Corporate Toyota and stated the complaint, they called the dealership and the dealership told Toyota that 'it was not abnormal for batteries to die within 2 years'. Yeah okay! My batteries on older cars last 5 plus years. For a vehicle to go through 3 batteries in less than 5 years goes to show how poorly this place maintains your car.4. Long time to get service done - They always take like 3-4 hours to do a simple 5000 mile service. Since I have been 4 years ago, they always leave you waiting forever for something so simple. Every year it's the same thing. In the beginning I didn't have appointments , so then I started getting appointment and that didn't help at all and that still took 3-4 hours. Then I tried dropping off and pick up later. They really took advantage of that and I didn't get my car till like 5 in the evening once I dropped it off early morning. I was supposed to get a call when it was ready but never did. A recent service I had was schedule for 9 am but I got there at 840. As usual waited at the entrance and then got checked in at 9:10am. Then got my vehicle back at 11:45 with not all the services done. So I waited till 12 to get that done. So I had to wait almost 3 1/2 hours. Ridiculous.

Customer service was good and the process was good. HOWEVER, the vehicle was not. Looked good, handled good. After taking it home, within a week it had burned 3 quarts of oil and the brakes had to be replaced. Vehicle should never been ok'd for sale. Sent e-mail to the dealer w/ no response and also the finance company(Toyota) and I guess they don't care either. Will never go to that dealer again and will not send any of my friends there. Good Service, Bad vehicle.

I am writing this first part as an addition to my original post (OCT 6, 2015). Apparently the 'spot delivery' form is legal in GA. As a recommendation, make sure you have your financing done before you walk in to purchase the vehicle. I was lucky, that Stone Mountain Toyota gave me my KIA back and wiped out the deal. So, I will say they did what they could to make me happy. I will also say the salesman I dealt with was very nice.I went to Stone Mountain Toyota on Sunday, September 27, 2015, to purchase a 2012 RAV4. After I was offered a 7.99% APR for the RAV4, I signed the papers and drove off in my 2012 RAV4. Wednesday, September 30, 2015, I was called and told that they had to change the APR to 11.99% and the payments would have to change. I asked how they were allowed to do this, and I was told the document labeled 'Spot' Delivery is what allows them to change the terms after I left with the vehicle. During all the signing of papers for the vehicle, I was told this particular document was only stating that I received the RAV4. I should have read the fine print, but from past experiences in purchasing a vehicle - I have never encountered this! I was lucky in that they had not sold my trade in yet, so I was able to return the vehicle, within the 24 hours of notification. I got my trade in back and went to Morrow, GA to purchase the same car, 2012 RAV4, cheaper and with a back up camera from Hennessy of Southlake. I would recommend Hennessy of Southlake before I ever recommend going to Stone Mountain Toyota.

I purchased a 2005 Honda Civic from Stone Mountain Toyota on June 25, 2015. Although being told that the vehicle was in proper working condition, there proved to be some major pre-existing coolant system problems. The vehicle was frequently leaking coolant and overheating which was initially noticed only two (2) days after purchase of the vehicle. The upper radiator hose was defective, the lower radiator hose was loose and defective; the radiator was cracked, there was a defective cooling fan relay; and the coolant reservoir tank was damaged. As a result, my wife had to endure the inconvenience and danger of being temporarily stranded in heavy traffic and hot weather. Furthermore, we had to pay close to $800 for repairs. Selling a vehicle which currently has pre-existing problems without the customers knowledge is unethical. Mr. Richard Terrell stated that he would refund 50% of the repair cost. However, he has failed to honor his agreement.

After identifying a Certified Pre-Owned Toyota on their website, my husband and I stopped by Stone Mountain Toyota one evening around 7pm. Tahir Saleem, our sales consultant, made the process quick and painless, and delivered upstanding customer service. We were even able to call our insurance company from his phone and print relevant insurance documents that we didn't think to bring with us. Shortly thereafter, we met with Paul Davis in the finance department, who also helped us quickly go through the paperwork process. Everyone we met was kind, polite, and professional, and they didn't even seem to mind staying past 8pm (official closing time) to ensure we completed our purchase that evening. A very good friend recommended I go to Stone Mountain Toyota, even though the location is 50 miles away from my home. After this purchase, 50 miles was time and mileage well sent. Lance Ross started helping me to narrow my search to just the car I need. No over selling or pressure to buy more than I can afford. He really focused on getting me the best deal for the best car. While at the dealership, he walked me through the purchase as if we were old friends. We were in the market for a new car due to an accident. My preference was for another Camry since ours had literally saved our lives, but I'd done research and had 3 other choices I was considering. I worked with Jim Major who was awesome from start to finish. He listened to exactly what I wanted, showed me which cars fit my criteria, and worked his butt off to ensure I got the car I wanted at the rate and price I wanted. He was friendly, honest, professional and knowledgeable and just genuinely seemed to want to earn my business and get me in the car I wanted. Most of all he was neither overly pushy nor condescending, which is a first for me with car salesmen--in my experience (even at this same dealership) they generally seem to think women are idiots who are incapable of making an informed decision about a vehicle. Bottom line: Jim was fantastic and I will 100% ask for him again, which is not something I've ever said after a car purchase. Also, Derak Rawlings was the Finance Director who finished everything up on our purchase and he was great too--very thorough, friendly, and professional even though we were there very late and they both had to be exhausted.

I've been trying to schedule a service appointment for 2 vehicles on recall notices. The first call the girl told me someone would call me back. Never happened. Waited 15 days and called again. That guy just gave me a run around. Told me they had to order the parts for one recall and would call me when they came in. That's been a month. Also told me they'd call me back when they got the parts for the other vehicle but he never took down the information for that vehicle. NO SERVICE. It tells me they have a company policy of NOT handling recall notices. If I can't get the recalls taken care of why would I ever come back and buy a vehicle from them. LOUSY LOUSY LOUSY.

From the moment I arrived, he was kind, knowlegdeable, patient and personable. I never felt pressured, and actually felt he was extremely honest and forthcoming. I bought a nice used car from this dealership. They claimed that the used car was in great condition. Their technician even verified and approved the paperwork related to the used car. He even checked all excellent on the paper. When i bought the van I took the van to Honda for some warranty issue. Guess what? They even discovered axle problems, brake problems and transmission fluid problems. I had to pay less than 900 dollars to get them fixed. i went back to Toyota Stone Mountain and told them what happened. They were sorry and had agreed to reimburse me for only 219 dollars for not being "honest". I did not even ask for more money. I was quiet disappointed. It's part of the business. Honestly, their management team was awesome and professional. I really liked Paul Davis. He was the one who gave me 219 dollars. I think their biggest problem is their technicians' lack of skills in fixing the cars. I really cannot trust their technicians. I just wish their management team could reimburse me for everything their technician missed on my used car. To all used car buyers, dont even buy warranty! I cancelled it because warranty did not even cover the expenses I had to pay for fixing my used car!!

I am usually turned off from dealerships when their salesman stand around to approach you or hound you to purchase a car before you actually get out of your car. Not so at Stone Mountain Toyota. They definitely treat you like family. We met someone after walking into the show room with a smile and an attentive ear. We wanted a car with good gas mileage, hot appearance, able to maintain and not quickly to depreciate. "Absolutely HORRIFIC service department - I wish there were a negative star rating. I bought my vehicle at this dealership in February 2014 and went in for my second covered warranty service today. I was scheduled for a "check in" appointment at 11AM - which I arrived for on time. I sat in the bay until 11:11 without being so much as greeted with a we'll be with you in a moment. There were multiple employees that could have greeted me including the General Manager (the guy you see on the television commercials) and the Finance Manager (I know because I had to talk to him during the buying process). The finance manager was more concerned with what looked like flirting with the girl in the service department who is supposed to being doing "check ins" than the customers. At 11:11, I stopped a middle aged tall male service department employee and asked him "Is there someplace I need to check in? I have been sitting here for 10 minutes and I don't know if I am supposed to go inside." His response was "Did you not just see me walk in and out of that door? I didn't see you. We are busy as crap." I said, "Never mind I will take my business to another dealership. I don't expect to be talked to in a hostile manner when all I did was ask you where I need to check in." At that point the girl that had been "talking" with the finance manager gets off her throne and saunters over with an iPad to do a check in. I said "Never mind, I am leaving" as the middle aged man proceeded to talk to her about me. NEVER returning. Worst experience EVER - Go ANYWHERE else but this poor excuse of a dealership. Makes me angry I bought my vehicle here."

From the minute I walked into the Toyota Dealership I was welcomed by the team. Charles McKoy was my sales agent. He really listened to what I was asking for in a vehicle and didn't try to sell me something else. I am very squimish when it comes to vehicles that has too many button. So many times you walk into dealerships and they try to sell you expensive cars. One of my pet pieves is when they don't show you how to operate the vehicle. I guess that is where the fear of upgraded cars comes from. I never stated this to Charles McKoy, but he made sure I was comfortable with the technology the car had to offer before I left. I was shocked. The Toyota team made sure I understood what package was in place for the care of my car before I left. I was shocked again. I ended up with a better quality car, all the safety features I was looking, and for a great price. I was astonished and amazed at the serviced I received. I must have looked shocked because they kept asking me if I was OK..:-).I am proud to be part of the Toyota family.

I have been going to Stone Mountain Toyota for seven years and I never had a problem until recently. I brought my car in on Saturday for an oil change. They told me I had two recalls on my vehicle and that I was due for my 60k mile maintenance. The service guy, Brian Arlitz, also suggested windshield wipers. They ended up keeping it the whole day. They didn't call me when it was done. I drove there to pick it up before closing and then I noticed that it had a few scratches on it. I brought it to the service guy's attention but he was very dismissive. He said that those scratches must have already been there but if I'm still having a problem with it I can talk to his manager on Monday. I just talked to the manager, Thomas Melito, today. He was also dismissive. I had two scratches on my windshield that are very visible. He said the only way those marks would have been made was that it was done over time. My car has always been up to date and I hardly drive it. If my windshield wipers were making those marks I would have had it replaced before those scratches would have become that visible. I only came to have it serviced to get an oil change. I didn't need windshield wipers. I only got at his suggestion so I didn't have to come back later on. I spent almost $400 that day and they damaged my car. I'm never coming back to this dealership again.

Wasted time, worked a deal (only after having to pull our Car max quote on trade in and True value estimate on new vehicle - Initial offer was 9K off). Put deposit of 500 to have car delivered to Dealer today, called today to say they didn't have it but sure they could fine another. Make sure you do your homework, know trade value, new vehicle True Value (with options) and look at only what is on the lot, though you could be wasting your time.

A quick online search revealed that Stone Mountain Toyota had the 2014 Highlander in the color and model that I wanted and the price was the best in the Metro Atlanta area. The internet sales manager, Quentin, assured me that I would be taken care of when I got there and I was placed in the capable hands of our sales agent, Kerby. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and was able to sell us the car without a lot of pressure. The negotiations process was fair. The business manager, Richard was great, too. Final paperwork was not as daunting as I remembered from previous car purchases and they will help transfer tags and insurance before you leave the office. Talk about customer convenience. I had to drive 41 miles to this dealership to get my car and it was so worth it!

When the part was received, I received a call and the navigation system was replaced. My evaluation is based on the professionalism from the Service Rep and communication on the process and replacement. This is where I will be going for future oil changes, maintenance, etc.I give St. Mountain Toyota two thumbs up.

I brought my 2010 Venza there for an oil change, tire rotation and check the brakes & front and rear wiper blades. I am approaching 40,000 miles and was told my brakes probably needed to be looked at. The car was returned to me very quickly (which put up a red flag) and when I asked the technician how the brakes and wipers were he said everything was great... I took my car to Auto Zone because my front wipers were making noise and he showed me that there was no rubber left on the front wipers and the back wiper blade had came off !! So I'm not sure how the technician at this dealership could say everything was great !!! My brakes are also starting to make noise which indicates that was a lie too... I don't even think my car was looked at, and I'm not even sure if the oil was changed... I lest 3 messages for the service manager and never received a return call... Needless to say, i will take my car elsewhere for service..

Just had my car service last week and everything went great, was in an out for a recall and some other service. It took a little longer than I had excepected but I guess getting the reccommendations made that happen. My neice was in the market for a used car and recommended the dealership to her and she said she went in this past weekend and found a great certified Toyota and is absolutely estatic about her vehicle. I know I will come here for my next purchase once my Toyota dies.

The car I originally came to look at had already been purchased but I already knew that it's a first come first serve business with no holds. All of the employees that I dealt with treated me with respect and listened to my concerns. They tried to help me whenever they could. The financing was an easy process with a good rate. I did not have any additional charges that were not common to getting a loan. Everyone walked around with a smile and a pleasant greeting. The overall experience was a very pleasant one.

Seems as if they will put anything on lot to make a buck. I purchased pre-owned vehicle from them for my daughter in December and it has been nothing but nightmare. Car didn't even make it 30 days without first major repair. I know their are risks with pre-owned cars, but really thought I was dealing with respectable dealership who stood behind their products and their inspections. After they have gotten your money, don't expect anything else.

I purchased 2013 Toyota camry. Buying process was ok the sales man friendly and helpful. However the finance manager convinced me to finance the car with them. Offered me nice interest rate, so I said why not. The catch was I had to purchase extended warranty, or maintenance package. I thought it was still a good deal. I took the car home, thought I got a great deal. The next morning I took the car back as I couldn't drive it from all the shaking. Turned out the car needed balance, sure this is normal for brand new car. I took in several times for an oil change and regular maintenance. I had some issues with the car losing power while driving. I went to the dealership , and when I told the tech what's going on. He looked at me like was the stupidest man on the planet. It took me about 30 minutes to convince him to look at the car. That was just one incident. The biggest PROBLEM I had with them is that they will NOT honor the maintenance package. I was told that the finance manager that sold it to me is no longer there so I'm guessing with him gone my maintenance package is gone too. I was told " we don't know what that man promised". I have called multiple times to talk to someone about this left several messages, never did I receive any responses. I would stay away from this dealership by all means. There are plenty of other locations that will treat you like a customer and not some barn animal that happened to fall into their trap.

I have even bough my second car from them a year ago and have loved it greatly. I thinks they are top notch and do a nice job getting my car in and out for service. Beware!! they did a spot delivery scam on me, just want to keep my review real, truthful, plain and simple about dealer Stone Mountain Toyota-Scion at 4400 us Hwy 78 Lilburn, GA 30047. this is exactly what they did to me as a consumer I found this after the fact I had never heard of this type of scam until I did some homework, the dealer calls me and tell me about a week passed the scam date that I have to bring the car back because my loan fell through it means I couldn't get financed wow really! I thought I was already financed when they allowed me to drive off the lot with their 2012 car. I put down 3500.00 on a 2012 Chrysler 200 I thought it was a pretty decent down payment, ok but a few days after the first call to bring the car back they said ok we found somebody to buy the loan and mind you make it so bad after all this humiliation when I went back in the dealership they had the nerve to ask me for 500 more dollars down so this when I really felt the scam pressure, during several calls of back and forth when I'm going to bring the car back I asked to speak with the general manger in person and over the phone he never spoke to me or physically approached me to talk and explain the situation, what happened to integrity? And he be all on TV advertising himself, the only time I saw him came out of his office was when I asked for my money back and this was the final day, he walked into another office passed by me wow really! I feel they used this scam tactic on me based on my low credit score this is what I found out after I did some homework. Always hold on to your original contract, now that I had time and not feel pressured I see how I was scammed in the contract. oh and it took them 5 days to reverse my 3500.00 back into my account after numerous calls and a warning for legal action get your own financing, and try not to buy on a Saturday or late evening like I did.

We found the car online, in another state, and Stone Mountain Toyota helped us get it transferred here and get it Toyota Certified, so wed have all of the warranties that go with that certification. They have been good to us, not only in the buying process but also as we have maintained our vehicle, as well. I was also really impressed with how fair they were with the value they gave us for our trade-in. We shopped around at many different dealerships before we got to Stone Mountain Toyota because we knew exactly what car we wanted and we wanted the highest amount possible for our trade-in. Stone Mountain Toyota beat out EVERYONE! CARmax, other Toyota dealerships in the area and non-Toyota dealerships in the area! It just made financial sense to buy therethey gave us the best value for our trade-in, they helped us transfer the car we wanted for the price we wanted, and the customer service was great! If I was being completely honest though, I would say that my favorite part of that whole car buying experience was dealing with our salesman Buz. He is the one who made all of those things happen. We never met his manager but we didnt have to. He took all of our negotiations, requests and concerns to his manager and came back with a deal we were happy with. He was sincere in trying to get us the best car for our money and resolve any concerns that came with buying a used car. I have been places before where you are treated better if you are buying a new car and not as well for buying a used one, and that was not at all our experience with Buz. We love our Toyota and we love Buz!

My daughter took her RAV4 in for an oil change and they told her she had a leaking valve cover. The mechanic even showed her the *bottom* of her engine cover, where there was fresh dripping oil, as evidence! ??? I told her to decline the work and I'd check it out, as there has been no evidence of any leak. When I removed the engine under cover, I found a lot of fresh spilled used oil on the engine and cover around the area of the oil filter --- and nothing but old overspill on the valve cover, no leaks. To be sure, I cleaned the engine and covers, and had her drive it a few days. 118 miles later, the engine is still pristine from the cleaning. No residue or fresh oil around the valve cover. Beware. They are not trust worthy on repairs! Someone should have double-checked their "mechanic", especially when it is so easy to distinguish fresh oil at the top of the engine from fresh oil at the bottom!

After seeing a specific car online, we emailed to inquire more information. After 3 emails, a sales person finally called us back. We were told that the car was still available and could be "held" during our drive as it would take us nearly 2.5 hours to travel to the dealership. We were A. assured the vehicle was still available and B. Promised it would be "held" if we notified the sales person we were on our way there.With every intent to purchase, we took a half day off work and drove 2.5 hours. We stayed in constant contact with our sales person as we fought Atlanta traffic, so as to assure our sales person were were indeed on our way. Upon arrival, the car was parked in front of the door. We stepped inside and began paperwork. After making copies of my driver's license and obtaining my personal information, the salesperson went to go get the keys. This person came back with a sales manager and informed us the car we drove 2.5 hours to come purchase had been sold during our commute not once but twice. The first buyer's sale fell through, and the second person drove away in the car as we sat inside Stone Mountain Toyota's dealership. When asked about "holding the car" while we were on our way, the sales person replied that she had not actually ever had the keys to the car during our commute and was aware other customers were intending to buy the vehicle. Instead of informing us, we were led to believe the car was available and waiting for us. Her condolences included "If traffic hadn't been so bad on 285 for you, maybe you would have made it in time." The complete lack of respect for our time and money has assured we will never purchase a vehicle from Stone Mountain Toyota or any Sonic Automotive dealership due to the complete lack of professionalism displayed by the sales people we encountered today.

We purchased a new 2007 Tundra from this dealership and it is a lemon. I have been a loyal Toyota owner for 16 years and was satisfied with their reliability until we purchased the Tundra. We bought the extended warranty after the sales pitch regarding the potential for mechanical failure. Well, we had a mechanical failure and apparently that particular part is not covered under the plan the salesmen picked. We were politely informed by the warranty company that we should have picked the Gold level coverage. The truck only has 82,000 miles and we have had to replace the water pump and now a drive draft within the same year. These are power train components that you would think are covered under the policy, but each level is part specific so the only way you would be fully covered for every part of the power train would be to purchase the platinum coverage. The warranty is a ripoff and this dealership provides the worse customer service. I do not trust them and will not have any of my vehicles serviced by them again. The sad part is that a recall has been issued for drive shafts by Toyota.

This is my third purchase from Stone Mountain Toyota and I would not go anywhere else to make a purchase. Each time that I've gone there, we dealt with the same Sales person and Finance Manager, they've provided courteous, knowledgeable service and great service each time. Lance, the sales person, took the time to explain the new features on the car made sure that i was satisfied and understood how they worked. The Finance Manager, Mr. Campbell, also provided great service and explained the car care plan, made us feel comfortable by telling us if there are any issues with the car to call him. The good thing about this transaction was that I got a new car with a lower payment than I was paying. I'm very grateful to both Mr. Campbell and Ross for their help and expertise in making a very good decision on this purchase. I have a feeling they will soon see my family again for another vehicle.

Had an excellent buying experience and Brad O'Neil has been helpful throughout the process. Not pushy or overbearing. ON the other hand I have had up and down moments with other aspects of Stone Mountain Toyota. 2 weeks after purchasing my Prius V I parked my new car at the airport and a week later returned to find the battery was dead. I called for a tow and they said to call the service dept. to let them know it was coming. The person I talked to (I could kick myself for not getting his name) told me this was common with Priuses if they were parked for more than 4 days! Having owned one in the past I knew this to be wrong but assured him that if this was the case the car would be back on their lot the next day. It added to the stress that I didn't need. It turned out that a passenger had left the vanity light on and after a charge the car was fine. WHen I purchased the car I asked for an outlet to be put into the car so that my grandchildren can plug in their iPads. Paid for it with the price of the car and then I waited........calls just told me that it was on backorder but it just continued to be forgotten. Finally after I pressed them and my salesman got into the situation the part finally was found and installed. Now I find that my car will not sync with my garage doors. After a lot of "discussion" they did come out to the house and try and found that I was correct. Waiting to see if they follow up as promised in checking with the company on any issues. There are some great people in service (except for the person I talked to re: the battery). But they need to be a bit more thoughtful of their customers.

If I had it to do over I would have had my old car repaired. I had a 2005 Corolla LE and got excellent gas mileage(over 30 around town). The new Corolla LE is not the equal of the 2005 I owned. However, it was beginning to show signs of wear and I didn't want to chase repair after repair and it neede tires so I decided to buy new. Bad idea or bad choice of cars, pick one. All I asked for in the new car was that it had the same simple features as my 05 model plus keyless trunk. I was assured it did and it had more features. My mistake, is my fault, but how do you remember to ask about (automatic on/off headlights, dome light that comes on in the car when you use the keyless system, everything is manual) I did get the keyless trunk but would trade that feature in a minute for the automatic headlight system. I ended up stranded with a dead battery, either my fault or some other electrical failure. I took the car back to Toyota to find out. I got no sympathy from the service rep. As a matter of fact, he seemed amused that I brought the car in. After insisting that he check the battery(which he didn't want to do) I told him that after I got someone to jump the battery off, the car would not shift properly and was sluggish. He said that was normal after a dead battery and the car would have to re-learn the shifting functions and it could take up to 100 miles to do so. Well let me tell you that is a new one on me but I hadn't bought a new car in 8 years so I assumed he knew what he was talking about. I would never have bought such a stupid car had I known it couldn't remember how to operate after losing electrical power. I'm old and don't remember a lot of things but I can still eat, walk, see, and hear(not so well) after a bad day. No...I'm not happy with the Toyota dealership. Selling me the car, they couldn't have been nicer, but I fear I'm in for a bad time with servicing the vehicle, or getting repairs.

I bought used car from Stone Mountain Toyota. Sales man told me the warranty covered everything but brakes. Steve Crane( Manager ) Told me i was stuck with a car I do not like. Car stopped several time on way home from dealership. I brought it in for service and they ended up keeping it for a about fiour days.They told me the stalling has stopped but it still has a vibration in idle and when you take your foot off gas..This car was GOLD STAR certified and came with 60 day warranty. I was told by warranty company i had to take to Stone mountain Toyota.this warranty is useless. The vibration makes this car very uncomfortable to drive. And the Gas mileage is cut in half of what it should be.I took it to Ford dealership for diagnostics and Provided this to Mr. Crane. He was not willing to fix according to ford.Toyota could not find exactly what was wrong with it but they did say there opinion and would amount to changing parts until they got it right. .Mr. Crane has said he would find me another car. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER

Don't do business with this dealer. They are the worst dealer you might imagine. They gave a wrong valet key for our brand new Camry, and the general manager said they would not replace it because we signed the paperwork stated everything was in good condition and the car drove out from the dealer is not their problem. They charged $$$ on the invoice and not explain to us. The salesperson said we could not get a refund because we did not review the paperwork before we signed. The receptionist yelled on the phone, she said she was too busy to answer the phone.

Do NOT buy a car from Stone Mountain Toyota. Car was making sounds within 45 seconds off the lot. Salesman lied about what my contract entailed and made up a fake 30 day policy about being able to bring the car back, that obviously noone at the dealership upheld. He also told me that I could get a full tank of gas and a full car detail for having to drive over 40 miles to the dealership, 4 out of the first 5 days of owning the car, which I never received. I brought my car to the service department 3 times before they figured out what was wrong with the car. After letting the finance director know that I was lied to regarding the gap insurance, he said that my salesman had just been fired for telling the same types of things to several customers, but there was nothing that he could do for me. How typical.

I purchased a 2002 Nissan Altima from this dealership on Christmas Eve of 2011. It is now June 28th 2012 and as of tomorrow I'll have spent my 5000th dollar on repairs to the car. I called the dealership and was directly sent to the manager who could only say he was sorry. He offered me no assistance whatsoever. Now I know that there is no way to predict things going wrong but I've had to replace, in order; alternator, valve cover gasket, all of my spark plugs, coil pack, and best of all my cylinder head ($3400 alone). This dealership has great salesmen, don't get me wrong. They took great care of me in the purchase of the vehicle, but I will NEVER recommend them to anyone for their horrible customer service and lack of concern once a purchase has been made. At the end of the phone call the manager actually asked me if I would consider bringing the car in to trade for a "good price." Are you kidding me?

The dealer offers a price that matches the price I got from another dealer. But they don't beat them. Then they said they could give me 0 APR to save more money. However, after they did that for me, it turns out to be much more expensive.They are keeping to phone me to persuade me to buy the car at their place which are very annoying.Anywan, I am not recommend this dealer.
