The salesman Jesus, and finance person Marcial were great. Bobby and I agreed on the terms, all very professional. Upon arrival everything was ready and once the one issue with the trade in was resolved we finished the deal quickly and I was on my way to the hotel. Very good experience overall. I would highly recommend Subaru Stamford.

Bob was super friendly and very well informed. I didn't feel pressured by him or anyone else at the dealership to make a purchase, which was very refreshing. I was lucky enough to be Bob's first sale at this dealership. Good staff, easy to find location, and a knowledgeable team make for an enjoyable experience.Got a great deal on a fully loaded model because I was a returning customer. They make sure to reward loyalty, which is a plus. I definitely recommend this place. I don't know a whole lot about cars, but they are very nonjudgmental and don't make you feel like an idiot when you ask simple questions. It's nice to be treated like a person.

We went to a different dealership before this one and the salesman was very rude. When we got to this dealership we were helped right away. The guy wrote out all the numbers and stuck to his word. He was able to negotiate the price with us and take my trade-in car and the price we asked for. I definitely would go here again and recommend this dealership to family, friends and even strangers!

I try to buy a used car but the slaking of experience in the dealer it's ridiculous, I have more knowledge than the sales person there, and at the moment of the financial situation, they didn't try to give me a good deal, so of course I refused the deal, went to a nother subaru dealer and the transition was so easy, they make my day and I leave the dealer with a good deal and a better car...:)

ASK FIRST ABOUT THE DEALER CONVEYANCE FEE!!Overall good customer service, but in negotiating we gave a number we wanted to pay that would be inclusive of all fees except TTL. Felt mislead that the final number we landed on was then padded on top with a $300+ dealer conveyance fee. Make sure you're paying a number you're comfortable with that INCLUDES the dealer conveyance fee.

Bought my 2017 Forester with a 6-speed manual from a CT dealer off their web-site, even though I live in WI. Stamford Subaru had a car coming in and none was available in the Midwest in the foreseeable future. I have never had a better car buying experience. Joe Mercaldo, my sales guy, was unbelievably prepared for my arrival so the transaction and driving away took place in 55 minutes. In 55 years of car buying this was as seamless as it gets.

I went to this dealership because it got good reviews. However it was very hard to find a salesman, the person who was assigned to me couldn't make an argument for why get a pre-owned versus brand new (!!! and he has been selling pre-owned Subarus over 20 years?), didn't have the paperwork organized so that I had to drive back three times to get the license plate and actual registration.

This was my third purchase of a Subaru from this wonderful dealership in Stamford Ct. Friendly, I live over an hour a way but return here each time because of the staff and the courteous and attentive service and care. Salesteam are motivated to sellyet not over bearing and pushy. I appreciate that. All three staff members who helped me this time were kind and friendly and gave me a sense that his was a good lease deal. I agree. We recently purchased a Subaru Crosstrek from Jeremiah DeGiorgio at Stamford Subaru. We walked in after doing some price research on the internet and luckily met Jeremiah. He was extremely knowledgable and listened to our needs. He described the advantages and disadvantages of several models for our particular situation. He really knew his stuff. Best of all he was totally chilled out and did not pressure us at all. I was so taken by Linda Trindade's professionalism the first time I met her that I promised if I bought a new Subaru it would be from her. I had visited other Subaru dealerships but none impressed me like Stamford Subaru. The sales floor, bathrooms and service areas are clean, bright and inviting. Linda was patient, and not pushy at all. She followed up on our visits, but not so much that she became annoying. It took 18 months before I was ready to buy my car, and I returned to her.Her negotiations were friendly and fair. She was not pushy at all and I believe I got a really good price for a brand new 2017 Subaru Outback. I felt really comfortable that I was not being taken advantage of.The only thing that troubled me was beyond her control. My car took an extra three weeks to be delivered. Once the car was delivered, she spent hours with me explaining the new features in the car. Again, her patience was extraordinary.She does everything with a good attitude and a smile. Time to pay: I met Marcielo, the finance manager. I had bought new cars before and that was always the most stressful part of the transaction. Marceilo made the process easy and fully transparent. He explained each piece of paper I was to sign and gave me sufficient time to review everything. He did not try to oversell the "extras" such as a maintenance contract or extended warranty. While I did not purchase the maintenance contract because I have a wonderful mechanic, I did purchase the extended warranty (you just never know). The bottom line with the personnel at Stamford Subaru is that they give you a sense of trust and comfort in dealing with them on the purchase of a new vehicle. Now, I don't know what the future holds if there are problems with the car, but so far the experience has been stellar.Kudos to the owner, manager and salespeople. This establishment is definitely worthwhile giving an opportunity to sell you a new car.

I am a longtime Subaru owner, but this is my first experience with Subaru Stamford. Jeremiah DeGiorgio was my sales associate and he reached out to me after I emailed the dealership. (And, I might add, after I communicated with two other local Subaru dealerships who treated me with such indifference that I really don't think they were interested in selling me a car! Mind-boggling.) Jeremiah was very pleasant to deal with (by email, phone, and eventually in person), fair, and responsive. He told me exactly what was going to happen when (in terms of getting my car), and he was true to his word. When I picked up the car, he was extremely thorough in showing me the various features, and has encouraged me to reach out to him if I have any questions or problems. All in all a very stress-free car-buying experience--how often can you say that?!?

Mr. DeGiorgio was very efficient and knew the auto and the vehicles on hand for quick delivery.I went on Thursday and the vehicle was ready for me on Saturday. We came late on a Saturday to look at new or used cars. We looked for a while at new cars and then salesman kindly walked us across the street and introduced us to the used car dealer. In a few minutes Mr. Aki Stefanidis found in his database exactly what we had in mind. Even though it was after closing time, Mr. Stefanidis told us to take a test drive. We did and liked the Forester so much that we decided to buy it right then and there. We picked it up, nice and clean, even with a minor ding removed, a few days later. The paperwork with Mr. Perez-Saunders was fast and the whole process as smooth as one could wish. Thank you Subaru of Stamford.

Ours was a unique situation. My 90 year old father who lives in Stamford, 3000 miles away from where I, his son lives...in iLos Angeles California, needed to find him a new car after his 18 year old Chrysler finally died. Fortuitously, Jeremiah DeGiorgio answered the phone at the Subaru dealership in Stamford. When I called to begin the priocess. Subaru was my dad's band of choice. Jeremiah could not have been more helpful or sensitive to the situation. He was patient and communicated with both my dad and me every step of the way. He is very knowledgeable about the brand and the products and very focused on us as customers being completely satisfied. I truly believe he put my dad in the perfect vehicle for this situation at a very competitive price. I highly recommend him to anyone on the market for a new vehicle...he will do what it takes to earn your business.

Extremely expeditious service considering my old car had died the day prior - drove off in a new vehicle that afternoon! We just bought our first Subaru a preowned one, for our daughter at Subaru Stamford. We bought a Cross Trek, which is a great car. Our sales person Aki Stefanidis was so helpful, and incredibly friendly. We appreciated his low pressure approach. He went beyond by calling shipping people to see how much it would be to ship the car to our daughter's college. He was very reasonable on the price and threw in a surprise for my daughter's car when she went to pick it up. He was great about using phone or text depending on what was best at the particular time, and was incredibly responsive. We also own Audis and received the same, if not better level service that we received from that luxury brand. Highly satisfied. Thank you Aki!

I've bought 3 new Subarus from Stamford Subaru in the past 2 1/2 years. My latest was a 2016 Outback from them last week. He and Jon took care of all the complexities of a trade in, loan pay off, etc. And Luke was great with financing, extended warranty and all the other paperwork involved. Really liked the dealership showroom in Stamford CT. Salesman Keith answered all my questions even though I am really picky about everything. He patiently went thru every accessory on the Crosstrek and took it in stride even when I kept changing it up. I'm in Rye Brook, NY but Keith said buying the Crosstrek thru Stamford CT wouldn't be a problem. Everything went smoothly. I got all the options I wanted on the car and it had 5 miles on it when it arrived. Car arrived quickly. Easily traded in my old Subaru. Loved all the sales staff (got free music...long story) and will definitely use them for service even though I had used the Orangeburg NY service area in the past....just too far now (over Tappan Zee..eek).

Easy experience, competitive pricing, nice people. Came in knowing what I wanted and what I wanted to spend. No hard sell on the car, and they were able to come close to my number in terms of pricing. The sell was a bit harder on the extended warranty and maintanence package but overall still a good experience. I look forward to driving my new Subaru for years to come.

The entire process at Subaru Stamford was fast and easy. I never felt pushed or hassled to make a decision and that's not something I can say for the other dealers I visited. To be honest, Stamford was not my first choice when I started shopping around but that was just based on distance from home. Once I saw how easy they were to deal with, the only issue was getting exactly what I wanted. When the White Forester 2.0XT Touring I originally went to look at was sold the night before (also by Jeremiah) Jonathan quickly found 2 or 3 others that were either on the truck and coming in or at the port. Once the list was narrowed down he provided me with the Monroney just to confirm nothing was being left off and the price was what we originally discussed. From there it was all in Jeremiah's hands, running through all the items needed from me via email or text he wrapped up everything very fast. Then to my shock he called me on Sunday saying the car was in and already being prepped. I picked it up the next day and Jeremiah spent a decent amount of time going over all the features. For the finance side I worked with Luke, who it turns out is my neighbor, no issues, no pressure, very easy process from end to end. I would definitely recommend Jonathan and Jeremiah and would have no hesitation buying another car from them. Thanks!

Jeremiah is a low-key and helpful, no-pressure but enthusiastic salesman. He helped me get exactly what I wanted without making me feel rushed or obligated. He and his team found the exact car I wanted (at a dealership in Rhode Island) and within a week they had it ready for me to take home. I did a LOT of research before buying and got what I wanted at only a few hundred dollars above the price I had hoped for. Luke in finance was more like a salesman who was trying to get more money from me but even so he was pleasant and not overbearing. All in all, it was a fun and satisfying experience.

First of all, the Sales agent Jeremiah did a terrific job. Very patient, very transparent, willing to share the details of the lease terms. When a competitor offered a suspiciously low counteroffer, Jeremiah suggested a few questions to ask to clarify the competitor's terms. Saved us an unnecessary trip, as the competitor (Colonial) was less than completely accurate in their communications with us.The 'bad luck': the brand new Impreza we leased came with an defective undercarriage cover. When driving behind my wife (who was driving the new car home from the dealership), I noticed something hanging down below the car. We immediately stopped and noticed that a part of the undercarriage plastic cover was broken. We had to wait to have the car towed (on a flat bed) back to the dealer, who was, by that time, closing up. Fortunately, a late-staying sales agent instructed us how to report the problem to service and where to drop the keys. (A three hour 'adventure', we told our two under 9 daughters...).Did not appreciate that the service manager called my wife the next morning and said "nothing's wrong with your car". I had to send photos of the defective / hanging plastic, and my wife spoke with the sales manager who walked over to the service garage and pointed out the defect. Then, they had to order a new part overnight.Jeremiah went the extra mile, however, and brought the car to my wife's place of employment the next day.I would recommend the dealership (or at least Jeremiah) for the transparency and patience, and I have to hope that the problem with the car was just bad luck. Rest assured that next time I'm in the market for a vehicle, I will be down on my hands and knees looking UNDER the car... Not something one normally thinks of doing on a vehicle that has less than 10 miles on the odometer!

We had the pleasure of working with Marcial and his sales manager Bobby when purchasing a used Subaru Forester. Marcial was friendly and efficient. We appreciated that he sped up the process by getting our trade-in appraised while we test drove. Bobby gave us a great deal, even going above and beyond to make sure that minor scratches on the used car would be touched up. Unlike most car dealerships, Marcial and Bobby were honest with us and there was none of the "let me go speak to my manager" routine nonsense. The Stamford staff are super knowledgeable and take a genuine interest in their customers. Our Stamford Subaru experience exceeded our expectations. We began working with the sales manager Jonathan DiMeglio, sales associate Matt Friedman and Luke Corcione, the finance manager. We are extremely satisfied with our purchase and the kind of service that Jonathan and his staff members provided. They were very welcoming, knowledgeable, honest and very easy to work with. I experienced no haggling for the price which was below MSRP and in line with the Consumer Reports recommendations. Jonathan, the sales manager gave us a quote which we agreed on and this did not change throughout the course of our closing the deal. The sales associate Matt did a very good job in teaching us about the car and the many services they provide. Even offered to teach us how to drive in snow conditions and downloaded a ton of music to play in the Forester. We then worked with Luke the finance manager and within an hour's time we had a new 2016 Subaru Forrester with navigation, eyesight technology and other safety features.We are very happy with the Subaru Forester but more than that we were extremely impressed with the level of service, honesty and knowledge extended to us. Subaru Stamford and their staff are excellent examples of how a car dealership shoulder treat their customers. We will definitely return to Subaru Stamford as we look to purchase another vehicle in the future

I hate to write a negative review, as it's not going to get us anywhere, but I can't let our experience go untold in hopes that it might prevent situations like this in the future.We had a very unpleasant experience purchasing a used Forester through Stamford Subaru's used car department. There are only two reasons why we're not giving them zero stars. (1) The Forester we bought was a good deal, and (2) the salesmen Aki and George tried their best to help us and made an effort to provide good customer service. We traveled from over 3 hours away (out of state) to purchase the car. We called to set everything up on a Saturday, in order to pick up on a Sunday. We were told everything must be worked out in advance, because NO changes could be made on a Sunday (naturally, as banks are closed and staff was limited). We were told everything would be ready for us to sign and drive home. We worked primarily with the finance manager Brad Yardis over the phone and text message in order to work out the details and get everything ready for us upon arrival. Brad processed our credit application and financing, but gave us minimal information, was difficult to communicate with, and was later stiff and unapologetic for his actions. When we asked him questions, we didn't always get clear answers, or even answers to what we were asking for. Brad also did not follow through on requests that he agreed to (emailing us copies of forms to review before we drove 3 hours), leaving us to trust that the agreement would be what we discussed through text message and phone calls. Needless to say, when we arrived the next day (after driving 3 hours), ALL of our paperwork was incorrect, with wrong addresses, wrong loan terms and nothing could be fixed. We were presented with an agreement that we did not agree on. We felt completely conned and beyond frustrated.The two salesman (George and Aki) at the dealership were not able to fix any of the paperwork, but were sincere in their actions in trying to resolve the issue, and did whatever they could to make it right and let us drive the car home. We eventually worked out an alternate agreement, which allowed us to correct the paperwork afterward and take the car home. We're thankful for their help. Brad however never said anything regarding his mistakes and made no attempt what so ever to make it right on his behalf. This leaves us annoyed and belittled.We also spoke to the used car manager Bobby John a few times, who was just outright rude and dishonest. He tried to tell us that we agreed on a trade-in price that we in fact did not at all agree on, or even mention in previous conversation. He cut me off several times while speaking and I don't recommend working with him after how he spoke to us.Although we're very happy with our Forester and feel it was worth the trip, we can't say the same about the dealership practices. The experience with Brad Yardis and Bobby John made us feel very uncomfortable doing business with Stamford Subaru.

My experience at Stamford Subaru was a painless one to say the least. I had been communicating with several dealers in the CT area, haggling back and forth over prices/options. When I spoke with Subaru Stamford, I got the best price right away, giving me a better price than other dealers and with a couple of extra options on top of it. I went in to sign the paperwork and everything was simple and straight forward. Finally, when it came to getting some extras such as warranties and Starlink, the options were presented to me clearly and there was absolutely no pressure for me to purchase these items. They were simply presented to me as options rather than a necessary component. The sales people and finance people were all very friendly and personable. I don't buy cars often, but my experience at Subaru Stamford means I will definitely be calling them first on future car purchases. Thanks again!

This dealership offered a very competitive bid. We initially thought it might be some kind of bait and switch but it was real. The salesperson was not pushy at all - low key and everything was upfront...no going into the back room to talk to the manager etc. We were very happy with the outcome.

Took my car in to have a couple new synchros installed in the transmission. The next day brought it back because coolant was busting out and the engine was overheating. I was told they don't see a problem or any leaks and added more coolant. Come to find I have a failed head gasket due to their negligence and or abusive test driving. ***I have never had one issue with my engine and I find it very very hard to believe it is coincidence. They 100% did something wrong***The service manager (Anthony) did not even say he will look into it, he just denied they did anything wrong. UNREAL!!!***STAY AWAY***

Buying a car from Subaru of Stamford was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. Here's a few reasons why I would recommend that you stay away too:1) They pass you off a bunch of times during the buying process, without telling you why you're being directed to someone else or what that person does. It doesn't leave you with the feeling that you're being taken care of.2) The staff is rude and unaccommodating. Their computers shut down for two days (over Black Friday 2015). I had to take a full day off of work to pick it up, because they didn't make any accommodations for me to purchase the car at an "off" hour. 3) They are engaged in false advertising practices within their service department (the signs in the service area don't match the bill, and the owner told me he didn't care)!4) The car has proven to be somewhat flimsy. My tire popped within two seconds when it went over the side grate on the highway (to avoid someone who was cutting me off). Subaru wouldn't cover it, of course.I will probably never buy another Subaru, but I will NEVER go to Subaru of Stamford again. STAY AWAY.

Years ago we had leased an Impreza that we loved, that led to the Legacy for the next one, then we moved up to the Outback. Recently I had my third buying experience at Subaru Stamford. This time we bought a certified pre-owned Subaru Legacy Sedan. As before, the sales staff were friendly and helpful without pressuring us to make a purchase. This time we had a slightly complicated transaction, trading in two cars and purchasing one. After a very small amount of negotiation, Aki gave us prices for our trade-ins that were in line with what I had found on KBB and also a very reasonable deal on the pre-owned car we purchased from him.Although one should obviously always do their research before buying a car, in my experience the people at this dealership have been consistently reasonable with their pricing. In addition fwiw, I have been getting my cars serviced with them for about 10 years now and have always had a good experience with them.

I was looking to buy a new car and came into Stamford Subaru after visiting the dealerships of a couple other companies. Although these previous experiences were stereotypes of a visit to a car dealer (waiting a long time, having the salesperson try to steer you toward something you weren't interested in, etc.), I was instantly put at ease stepping into Stamford Subaru and talking with Jeremiah. He was laid back but knowledgeable. He answered all my questions, gave me helpful material to look over, took me on a test drive, and eventually helped me out by driving my other car home in a caravan with me. Along with Ted we got the whole thing done in just two quick visits. Glad to recommend Jeremiah and Stamford Subaru.

As we had successfully bought a new CrossTrek from Stamford Subaru 18 months ago, she suggested we give them a try. Good advice. Salesman George Christakos was a gentleman from the get-go. I told him what i was looking for, and he presented me with a 2015 Legacy with only 8,000 miles. Car was in mint condition, and they gave me top-dollar on my trade-in. In a world where car salespeople usually have a (deserved) bad rap, we have now TWICE found that the good folks at Stamford Subaru are the Real Deal. If you need a car -- New or Used -- and don't want to be screwed over, make the trip to Stamford. Buying yourself a new car should be a pleasure. These people help make it so.

When there was a mix-up and I did not receive the license plates I requested, his trouble-shooting was thorough and effective. Neither my wife nor I are "car people." In fact, we wouldn't even own one if her job hadn't been relocated to Connecticut and she had to start commuting. The first car we owned was an Elantra, which was cheap but adequate for getting her to work and back every day,. but it had a lot of mechanical issues. So we decided our next (and probably our last) car would be a Subaru for reasons mainly having to do with longevity.Having gone on line to look for a dealership we saw the good reviews Subaru Stamford had received and, since my wife works in Stamford, we thought it would be convenient for servicing, etc. Well, the car-buying experience was about as pleasant as could be imagined. Joe was very knowledgeable and low key - no hard sell here. He answered all our questions and helped us find the car that best suited my wife's requirements (although she hadn't anticipated the moon roof that had to be included in the package we wanted). We have no idea what kind of deal we got, but we didn't feel like we were being taken advantage of. Joe's enthusiasm for Subarus (he owns two) was obvious and we felt comfortable with the entire experience.

I had a year left on my lease through Ford, and wanted to get out of it really badly. My boyfriend referred me to Joe and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Joe worked his magic and got me out of my old lease and into my first Subaru, a 2015 STi (again a lease) within a matter of a few weeks. I wasn't too happy with the finance department but Joe helped me out, made everything stress free & gave me an overall absolutely amazing experience. I'm at the point where I really don't consider going anywhere else. I love the Subaru brand & I just purchased my 3rd WRX (2002, 2007, 2016 - phenomenal car for the money ... almost 300k miles - NEVER HAD AN ISSUE!) and my wife has a 2011 Outback from Subaru Stamford. I always have a good idea of what I'm looking for and what a "good price" would be, and I'm always surprised that I never have to haggle/bicker/etc. - they always have presented a great deal right off the bat.It's also refreshing to work with a salesman like Joe Mercaldo - I've been to several dealerships where I knew more about the car than the salesman did. Joe is a "Subi Guy", he gets it ... and he actually taught me a few things about the 2016 WRX that I didn't know. I was very impressed with how smooth the sales process went - Jonathan DiMeglio had the paperwork/finance done in less than an hour, there was no huge pressure to take the extended warranties, etc., and Joe delivered the car in perfect shape, and remedied the only post-sales issue for me the same day I called about it! (the auto-dimming mirror was not installed upon delivery, I didn't notice until the next day).Great guys, great dealership - I'll probably be back soon because my wife is now jealous of my new car, and will probably look at the new Outback!

We came from Rockland County, NY to buy our Subaru from Subaru Stamford. After having difficulty with 2 dealerships near us, both in getting the car we wanted and getting the car at a reasonable price, we negotiated over the phone with the Stamford dealership. When we came in to sign the paperwork, it went quickly and they were very honest. There were no "adjustments/misunderstandings" that I've seen at car dealerships.

As a first time experience I was extremely satisfied with the attention i received from Jeremiah. I had no intentions of doing any purchase the first day I walked into the dealership but Jeremiah's attention to detail of what I was looking for and his professionalism blew me away. I sat down with him and in an hour there was a Subaru XV Crosstrek Limited on its way. Jeremiah helped me tremendously with the numbers and looked at every option to bring my payments to something reasonable for me to handle. The vehicle i wanted was build to my desire so obviously i didn't drive out the dealership that day but i knew that before hand so there was no issue there. When i went back to complete the signing and pick up my XV Crosstrek Jeremiah was EXTREMELY thorough explaining all the gadgets and tools that my car had including how to use my phone to control my car, HOW AWESOME IS THAT!. I couldn't be more happier than i am today thanks to his attention and his desire to help me meet one of my goals of getting exactly what i wanted. I am a proud owner of a customized Subaru XV Crosstrek and i enjoy every mile that i put in the car. It can't get any better then walking in with only the mindset to look around and leaving the dealership with a vehicle you were exactly looking for and i owe that to Jeremiah DeGiorgio. Overall my experience was phenomenal. I walked into the dealership to test drive a jeep they had used on lot. I was disappointed by the look so I went over to the new lot having zero clue of what I wanted. I got to test drive anything I wanted and Jeremiah was great in helping me find something perfect for what I needed. Our initial contact with the dealership was with Jeremiah. He took us for a test drive and introduced us to the car when we picked it up. He was great. He was knowledgeable and pleasant and very patient with all our questions. Our problems with the dealership began when we tried to buy a bike rack. We made 3 trips to the dealership-- were given the run around ... and were referred to Subaru of America where our questions were finally answered so we could buy the rack that was best suited to our needs.Our feeling is that instead of referring us to Subaru of America... someone from the dealership could have done the phoning and found out the answers to our questions.

From the moment we stepped into the Subaru Stamford dealership my husband Bob and I had a very impressive experience. We were greeted by Jeramiah who could not have been more delightful. I called to in advance to let them know what I was looking for, and the sales associate (Keith B.) made it quick and simple. He told me what he had, and made an appointment for me to come take a look. He was available at the time we agreed, and it only took 10 minutes to work out a deal. He's a straight-shooter and cut to the chase to work something out. I can be very difficult to deal with, and Keith was very flexible and accommodating to my needs. I was in the middle of switching insurance carriers, so I scheduled my pick-up date 2 weeks later to give me enough time to get my policy in order. During that time, Keith followed up with me to obtain my new policy information so that all the paperwork would be complete by the time I got there, and the car ready to drive away. He took the initiative to call my insurance agent for me, and get the information he needed.I was pleasantly surprised at how seamless my experience was at Subaru Stamford. They've certainly exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to coming back again for my next trade-in. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to purchase a car in an easy, hassle-free, and friendly environment.

This is the third car I purchase at a Dealership, and first Subaru I've purchased. I had the pleasure of working with Joe as my salesperson and he was truly the best person I've ever dealt with. I spent less than 1.5 hours at the dealership split between 2 days. The first day seeing the car, and writing up the sales draft, second day being the delivery date and finalizing all paperwork. Going to a dealership is always the most dreadful part of purchasing a car and my last 2 experiences had pretty much ruined the idea of me ever buying from a dealership again. Was looking for a new car, and living in the North East I knew I wanted a reliable car with All-Wheel Drive so I went to check out Stamford Subaru and was thoroughly impressed. Ended up leasing a 2015 Impreza hatchback and more than 6 months later I couldn't be happier. The car is great, the experience was great, and the dealership was so easy to get to and the people were great to deal with. I never felt like I was being pushed into anything (and I have definitely had that feeling at other dealerships). Thank you Stamford Subaru, I will certainly be back!

I can't even begin to say how perfect my experience was. Joe was able to do the whole buying process over the phone and through Facebook, which is perfect for me, having such a hectic schedule. When I came to pick up the car it was sitting pretty in the delivery lot, spotless! We we're done with the whole process in about 20 minutes. Joe made sure everything went as smooth as possible and really went out of his way to help me out. The whole staff was top notch, Luke and Ted helped me to get the price I needed. I went into Stamford Subaru knowing I was looking to get an Impreza. I had test driven the car at a different dealership, but went to the Stamford location because it was closer. Joe was incredible helpful, and provided a lot of advice on what options were important, what would be helpful, and other such things. I was shopping around for a new car and decided on the Subaru Crosstrek. However, I was getting some outrageous quotes from other dealers and was this close to looking for another make/model. Being a woman, it is always said, when shopping for a car, bring any guy with you, no matter what! Well, in my experience with the Stamford Subaru Staff, they proved this to be very far from the truth. Everyone I worked with was very cordial and professional. They took time to explain everything in detail. What changed everything..A friend of mine had advised me to contact Aki Stefanidis at the Stamford Subaru Dealership. Even though he works in the Used Sales department, I emailed him directly introducing myself. Aki contacted me immediately and within minutes, he got things rolling. He gathered all of the information from me and he connected me to Ted Mochlas. Ted knew right away, he can get me a better deal. I was pleasantly surprised the time he spent with me on the phone to go everything in detail and address my questions. Once I heard everything, I knew I was buying my 1st SUBARU and its going to be from here!! Ted then immediately connected me to Joseph Mercaldo who was also great! He arranged and picked me up from my home (not in Stamford) to get my New Car! Now, that is Class A Service! He also was my "Techy" Gadget Guide. I would have been lost trying to figure out what each button on my new car does! LOL! But his "Cliff Notes version" was very user friendly. (We did well with a trade in, too) Jeremiah was excellent to work with- he's knowledgeable, easygoing, not pushy and overall great. We ahve bought many new cars in our lifetime but never was able to conclude a satisfactory agreement in record time. There was no waiting while the salesman went to another room to get an approval. This was a truly pleasant experience. When we came to pick up the car Luke was also a pleasure to deal with. He was not high pressure and easy to work with. This was our first Subaru and hopefully we will be back again for another one.

I had the distinct displeasure of working with a mr rich spaziente. It was clear he had little regard or respect for customers and candidly, working with him as we were working out pricing was, well a sleezy used car experience even though I was buying an outback 3.6 limited that was completely loaded (including eyesight) Stamford had the color I wanted. He tried to charge me again for components that were already on the car sticker (and thus built into the list price) such as mats, rear bumper cover, rubber mat for the cargo area. When I went to pick up the car the rubber winter mats I had ordered with the car were not in the vehicle and I had to make several phone calls over a period of 3 weeks before I actually got the mats. As the process wore on he got progressively less friendly and I could not in good conscious recommend buying a car from Subaru of Stamford. Mr. Spaziente is a man without character and ethics. and

She is very professional, knowledgeable and patient in showing and explaining the technical components the details use and functions and I am not tech savvy so going thru it is a bit overwhelming but Linda is great! We hadn't read any car dealer reviews before shopping for our new Subaru Legacy premium (with eyesight )but can attest that our experience was identical to so many of the "best car buying experience" and superlative comments about this dealership and especially our salesman, Jonathan DiMeglio that I am reading on this review site. We have been buying new cars for over 30 years and always dreaded the experience, having to do research and go to several dealerships to try to bargain and get the best deal and trade-in. While our previous cars were Toyota Camrys, last year we had bought a new Subaru Legacy 2.5 Premium at another dealer which was fine but involved haggling over price even though we had brought in estimates from our research. This year we had contacted other dealers but none had our color choice. Unbelievably, after only 1 dealer visit to Stamford (less than an hour) and haggling-free meeting with Jonathan DiMeglio we bought our new Subaru Legacy 2.5 Premium with additional eyesight safety features. While they didn't have our exact color choice in stock he showed us manifests of cars that were to be delivered and available at the end of July so we purchased a car. We were a little worried that the time estimates would be extended and we would not have our second car on time. However, no need to worry when dealing with Jonathan, we received the call to pick-up our car at the promised time! When we came to pick up our car Jonathan spent a lot of time explaining and showing us the eyesight safety features. He even set-up our phones to the car's bluetooth system and showed us how it worked since our previous car's dealer hadn't done that for us! We also met with Luke, a manager who explained an extended 10 year warranty insurance but with no pressure. After Jonathan showed us all the electronic features of the new eyesight safety features we realized (based on knowing all the problems that can happen with electronic features of modern household appliances) that this extended warranty, although expensive would be worth it and went back to purchase it from Luke. We are so very HAPPY with our new Subaru Legacy Premium with safety features and can not say enough about how appreciative we were for the very professional, hassle-free and reliable car-shopping experience we had with Jonathan and their dealership. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !! :)

I was contacted by Jonathan DiMeglio after I replied to the dealer's online listing. Jonathan gave me a good price right from the start. We worked out the details via email and over the phone. Even though it took a couple of weeks for the car to be delivered to the dealership, Jonathan kept in touch. The car arrived in the timeframe Jonathan said it would. On the day I picked up the car, Jonathan had everything ready. During the car inspection, we sat in the car and reviewed some of its newer features. The car had everything as listed on the sticker. There were no surprises. This was the smoothest, most hassle free experience I've ever had when buying a car. While shopping online, my experience with other salespeople at other dealerships was not as well executed.

Mainly worked with Aki who was super busy with lots of customers at the end of the day on a Sunday. He was upbeat, positive, very helpful, and a pleasure to work with. All car dealers SHOULD be like this, but sadly, they're not. I was looking for a new Subaru Outback; live in NYC. My car shopping ranged the gamut from "I could care less-- I have a hot new model" salesmen to the high-pressure, passed from salesman to salesman pressure cooker of NYC dealerships. Then, I noticed online that Stamford Subaru had the vehicle coming in that I wanted. Contacted Jon DiMeglio via email... he was friendly, straightforward, and even beat everyone's price on an in-demand model. I did the whole thing over the phone; I came in to sign the bill of sale and then later take delivery, and even picking me up at Metro North. He also told me that I could place some of the transaction on my Amex card, meaning a nice reward on points. Walked me through the DMV process since the car was purchased in CT but I live in NY. As always, the finance manager has to offer extended warranties at the time of sale, but there was NO pressure from Luke -- he was extemely helpful -- and the transaction was quick, easy and to the penny what they said it would be. Buying a car can be a nerve-wracking experience with sharks everywhere. This was terrific and I would recommend Jon and the whole dealership without reservation... I will be sending others here and I will be back!!!

I bought an Impreza Outback Sport. It needed some sorting out (suspension/brakes/wheel balancing) and Aki was very patient in getting the car to good condition. In my experience, sales guys get impatient with the customer asking for things to get fixed on their used cars, but Aki was very understanding and quick to make sure everything was in good condition.The rest of the deal went great. I can't comment on any of the other salespeople or the financing dept b/c we did a cash deal.

Most car purchases can be rather exhausting with all the haggling required to reach a sales price. I did most of my research online and requested offers from several Subaru dealers. The best offer received came from Subaru of Stamford. Mr. Jonathan DiMeglio contacted me and asked what year, model, color and package I would prefer on the 2015 Legacy 2.5 Limited. Jon kept me posted as to when my vehicle would arrive. On the day I picked up the car it was detailed meticulously. Jon explained all the details from operating the Smart Engine Start remote as well as the Subaru Smartlink Multimedia Navigation with Voice Recognition at a pace that was understandable, pleasant and relaxing! My dealing with the finance manager Mr. Luke Corcione was as pleasant and informative. Neither Jon or Luke applied any high pressure tactics to add or purchase any additional items or service warranty products. The entire experience could not have been any better! Hats off to GM Mr. George DiAngelo for having staff such as Jon and Luke, they are truly assets to your team at Subaru of Stamford.

My overall experience was very good. I traveled out of state to make this purchase because they had the exact outback that I have been looking for. Matt Friedman although new there was very polite and helpful. He was courteous, efficient and was very knowledgeable. . I met the owner of the dealership, mr d,Angelo and he too was a gentleman. Although I am disappointed with the amount given for my trade I think that is much the same at any dealer....better to sell it privately. If I had to do it all over I would buy again from this dealer, but sell my car privately.

Jonathan DiMeglio contacted me online after I indicated interest in an Impreza. He was very attentive yet gave me the space I needed to make my decision. When I came into the showroom, he was right on time, took me for a test drive, and clearly explained the features of different models. WORST EXPERIENCE, FALSE ADVERTISING, BE AWARE We wanted to lease a Forester,as our 2nd car,and thought that Stamford Subaru had a great deal.It was all listed on their web-site :0 Due at signing,0 Down.Tax,Title registration extra.I thought that it's good to be true,as I know and understand the making of a lease. Knew that there is a conveyance fee(dealer's fee),as well as a bank fee,but it was not mentioned on their WEB.So, when we confronted the GM ,holding our Print out from their Web,we where told that Due at signing it's $1400,and yes that was not transparent,but it's a TAKE OR LEAVE.NO APOLOGY for misleading or trying to work something out.As I knew that Ray Baldwin was in charge of the Web-site,I wanted to speak with him. He didn't even made an effort to come down to our table, I had to go see him.He explained that "THE AVERAGE JOE" does not understand those extra charges, but IMMEDIATE CHANGED the Web-site,including all the extra fees.I said that I will pay thees fees ,but not just at this HIDDEN FEES dealership.We've got out new Forester at Quality Subaru ,same lease , GREAT EXPERIENCE.(see my review ,that is a REAL DEALERSHIP)Keith Britt was the ONLY pleasant person, KEEP AWAY, FALSE ADVERTISING,BAD TASTE.

With Subaru of Stamford nearby and having read good reviews of Subaru's in a national consumer magazine we visited the showroom as the all wheel drive feature was a selling point here in CT where get a lot of snow. We couldn't have been more pleased with the exceptional attention we received from salesman Teddy Mochlas. He took us through the process of leasing a new Impreza and the car was delivered on time and we are very happy with the car and the dealership.

I've said this before but the whole team was truly great, especially Ray who walked us through the entire process from test drives and spending well over an hour showing me the car after purchase. The whole team spends whatever time is necessary to make you feel comfortable and make sure you get all the necessary information before and after a purchase. You don't feel rushed, or pressured, and they are all a pleasure to deal with. The car as well has, so far, been wonderful and they made sure it fit all of the specifications that were promised. I highly recommend them.

Buying a car for your 16 year old daughter is a scary thing. For me, the most important thing was safety. After researching a lot of cars, we came up with our list of cars that we wanted to explore. Knowing Subaru was our most likely choice, we saved our trip to the dealership for last and wanted to see if any other cars blew us away. We did visit Volkswagon, Hyundai, Honda, Ford and while all the cars had nice attributes and good safety features, our experience at the dealerships left a poor impression on me. I am in sales and know the difference between a "soft" sell and "hard" sell. The dealers I was dealing with were pushy to the point of annoying and I found it bothersome. When we finally went to Subaru, we met with Ted and immediately found him on a much different level then our previous experiences. He was warm, inviting, truthful and most importantly, not pushy. He laid out our options and let us make the best decision. He didn't freak out when my daughter almost got into an accident on her test drive. We ended up buying a Legacy and my daughter is absolutely thrilled with the car. Of course, she would have been happy with anything that had 4 wheels. I on the other hand are more concerned with how we were treated, how affordable the car is and most importantly how safe the car is to drive. Those 3 boxes are all checked off. Ted is great and the whole staff at the dealership was "real". I highly recommend them.

I found Subaru Stamford to offer the best price for my 2015 Outback on both on-line Buying Services (Am. Express & Cars.com) I used. The services referred me to Jon DiMeglio, Stamford's sales rep., who was very attentive to our needs and found us exactly the car we wanted, in a perfectly professional way without any hard sale tactics. He also spent ample time with us in explaining the features of the car when we picked it up. Stamford's Finance Director, Luke, was also very helpful in arranging the final purchase and explaining the advantages of Subaru's Extended Warranty, again in a very professional manner. We were totally satisfied with our new car buying experience, and love our new Outback.

My wife and I needed to replace our 2009 Outback and saw a 2011 Outback at Subaru Stamford we thought would work. We were greeted by Aki Stefanidis, who had the car waiting for us. My wife was not thrilled with the interior, so Aki showed us several other alternatives in our price range. We came across a car that we liked, and purchased. Aki was extremely helpful in showing us a number of options, and wanting us to take each one for a test drive. He could not have been more professional, and easy to work with. Was offered a price on a 2015 Outback from Linda by email prior to them being delivered to dealerships. When I visited the dealer, Linda was busy and I couldn't wait, so another salesman (????) took over. He said he could not give the car to me for the price Linda offerd by email - that he didn't know where she got that price. So - because I was in a hurry, I agreed to his price ( a few hundred over Linda). He did however give me a fair price on my trade. Following that, Linda deliverd the car and followed up with me a few days later. Also, Luke did a good job with the financial aspect and extended warranty.

We had purchased a used Forester back in Feb. along with an extended warranty from an independent insurer since the car was no longer covered by Subaru. Our engine died after 5 months and 5000 miles. After taking the car to another dealership closer to where I live and receiving poor service, I contacted Bobby for help. He stepped in and did the job the other dealership wouldn't do & getting the independent insurer to cover the cost of repairs to fix my car. I want to also thank Anthony from Service for providing the technical assistance in resolving the situation. The customer service at this place is exceptional and I can honestly say that we'll be recommending Subaru Stamford to our friends and family for future business.

Got the car within the week because we chose from what was on the lot. I think the sales staff could have worked with us a little more on the price and on our trade in but not sure it would've been different anywhere else. Overall, smooth and easy process. I recently had a wonderful experience at Subaru Stamford. As a young woman who had never purchased a car, but who had conducted a lot of research on my car search/ financing, I was floored to meet multiple patronizing and condescending men in the car sales business. After a few weeks of searching online and off, I came to Subaru Stamford where I had a completely different experience. There, I got everything I wanted at a price that was under what I had expected to pay ! My 2011 Subaru drove great, had a clean carfax with one owner, the CPO warranty, and was in great external condition. Additionally, it had new breaks and new tires installed!Even considering all of the before mentioned, it was LESS than all of the other comps in the area and it was on the low price point end of KBB. Moreover, Keith and Brad were absolutely wonderful, kind, direct, professional, and honest. They actually LISTENED to what I was saying ( which was a turn of events in my car search up to that point) and gave me EXACTLY what I wanted.Subaru Stamford has a great selection, unbeatable prices, and wonderful service. If you are in the Westchester and CT area, I would try them first! I refuse to support unethical and chauvinistic business practices which is what I found at many other local car dealers. I am so happy with my car and with my experience with Brad and Keith. I can't wait to drive my car to my new home in California!

I came across a white 2012 Subaru WRX Limited listed online and knew it was the right car for me. The price was right and the condition of the WRX was exceptional. I drove from Mass to CT just for a test drive since I knew the car would sell quickly. It didn't take much for Aki to sell me on the car since it was what I've been looking for and more! Aki and everyone who assisted in helping me to purchase and finance my dream car were great and pleasant to work with. There was a delay with getting the title, which was unfortunate, but the dealership took responsibility and let me know any additional costs on my trade-in auto loan or other accrued costs caused by the delay would be covered without question by the dealership. Buying a used Subaru, customers are usually very specific in what they want - Subaru Stamford offers great deals and has one of the best sales staff I have worked with. Thank you guys!!

I waited close to a month to write my review on this experience due to how upset during this purchase of vehicle. Needless to say I would not recommend this place to anyone. The experience started off good and the sales person asked me for what I was looking for and trying to feel my husband and I out to see if we were serious about purchasing a car because we seemed young. I guess no one will say hi to you from sales representative because we looked very young. The salesman took our information and what we wanted and came back. we decided for us it was best to payoff the remaining balance on my car and sale it to the dealership vice trading it in. When we returned we had decided to sale them the vehicle compared to trading it in. Boy was that a problem for the person who purchases the car there! He had the worst customer service ever and very rude. I would think from the bragging the sales rep stated about having a great number of returning customer he would have been friendlier, clearly that was not the case. I walked out the first time for the amount he wanted to give me for my vehicle, but due to the influence of another person higher than him he did a better offer in order for us to close the deal. So we place the order for the car, but it was in Vermont. We were patient with them so far. I came for the day to pick up the vehicle and nothing was done. Needless to say I had my one month with me expecting to quickly sign paper work and leave in my new car. WRONG!!! It turned out the salesman was running around like crazy trying to get the car ready knowing the time and date we were schedule to pick up. They had the car for days prior with plenty to time to prepare the car. The navigation wasn't ready, the car was half assed detailed and still dirty on the inside, the car wasn't washed. Then the fun part my all weather mats were missing which were clearly on the purchase order. The finance person stated to the salesman they didn't order them thinking we weren't listening oh well there is nothing we can do when its clearly on the paperwork!!!!! You would think they would want to make the customer and to responding with his rude attitude as he did thinking we didn't hear was just clearly appalling!!.If you hate your job please quit clearly you were not made for customer service!! The signed was great explained everything except the moment when he messed up my paperwork with the bank. Getting the money for my car I sold was a run around, which took them three weeks to pay me, but still managed to give me the wrong amount! I figured they have no communication amongst each other. Every time we asked for a status update, they were going to get back to us no phone calls and it got to the point no response to my emails!Now we have no patience with the Subaru at all! If only they would have been straight forward about the money and the mess up with my paperwork I would have been fine with it. It got so bad my husband threaten them to get lawyers involved. Please don't come here ! I regret it so badly I should have stuck with Toyota and were they treated us like family!! I will never come here again and I will probably switch my vehicle due to the sour taste I still have........

Our car-buying experiences in the past have been lackluster, at best. But this time, it really was the best experience ever. We had done prior homework and decided we wanted a new Subaru Forester. We went to a few dealers, but ended up at Subaru Stamford, primarily because of the professionalism and expertise of John DiMeglio. He made the entire process of buying a new car easy, was incredibly thorough, and his communication was great. He let us know when the car would be delivered, he followed up directly before it was delivered, he then followed up again to make an appointment for us to pick it up, and followed up yet again a couple of days after we had the car to see if we had any questions. He demonstrated numerous features, synched my cell phone with the blue tooth system in the car, walked us through the office to the finance person, introduced us to the service manager, explained how we would bring the car in for service, took care of registration and our insurance coverage, and arranged for the trade-in process for our former car. Neither he, nor Luke Corcione, the finance person, applied a single high-pressure tactic so our decision-making was informed, but not stressful. It was an excellent experience. In fact, the entire crew was great, from the receptionist to another sales associate who overheard a question we were discussing and answered it for us. Could not recommend the dealership more highly, and certainly would send anyone we know to Jon and to Subaru Stamford.

On 4/5/14 I went to purchase a used 2003 Buick Rendezvous CX from Kia of Stamford, CT. The Sales Consultant was Tommy Vollano. Prior to my visit, I was approved by the credit department and a deposit was placed to hold the vehicle. We waited almost 1 1/2 hour for the car to be detail/clean. Upon seeing the vehicle during the inspection, it was a disaster. We proceeded on the test drive which didn't include Tommy Vollano. During our test drive, we found the Subaru of Stamford Pre-Owned Superstore. Upon our arrival, I was greeted by Aki Stefanidis, who treated us with respect and took great attention to our queries. We purchase a vehicle from Subaru (which is owned by the Kia Dealership owner) and we are very happy. We returned the test drive 2003 Buick Rendezvous CX and told them that the car didn't meet our needs. To my surprised Tommy visited the Subaru and was very nonchalant about his transaction and ask for a loose cigarette from Aki Stefanidis. Aki was very professional and give the cigarette (TWICE) and continued with our vehicle purchased. Everyone in the Subaru offices were cordial towards us. Aki explained that the back wind shield wiper was missing and was in the process of acquiring a new one for our vehicle. We went across the street to have lunch at City Lights Diner. When we returned the wind shield wiper was installed shortly afterwards. I can truly say that "Aki made my experience of buying a used vehicle very rewarding". I look forward to purchasing another vehicle in the future from Subaru because of your excellent Customer Service.

I was very happy with my experience at Subaru Stamford. I had already shopped around for the new Forester and gotten quotes from other dealers, farther away, using USAA's car buying service, but I wanted to check into Subaru Stamford, since I live close by and that's where I'd be going for service. Even though I hadn't gotten a USAA quote from them, Jonathan DiMeglio was able to give me the same deal. Jon is pleasantly no-pressure, highly knowledgeable, and low-key, and he really listened to me regarding what I was looking for. I got a fair price on my trade-in (I'd done my research and had my own CarFax report) and great terms for a Subaru-backed loan. I had to wait a few weeks to get the exact color and model I wanted, but Jon and Luke (the finance person) made the whole process very easy and didn't try to upsell me on anything. I highly recommend this dealership if you're looking for a new Subaru.

My husband and I just purchased a Subaru Impreza and we had a wonderful experience working with Ken Freeman at Subaru Stamford. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to help us to understand all the differences between each model and figure out what car would best fit our needs. We felt very comfortable working with Ken because he was very straightforward and honest and answered the thousands of questions we had.Then when it came to financing we worked with Luke who was also great. Luke took the time to go over every single detail so we knew exactly what we were signing. He was able to find us the best financing rate and then spent a lot time explaining all our options and answering our many questions. We never felt pressured to buy any "extras" but it was good to see all our options and we were able to work out a great deal with an extended warranty that still fit our budget. Another note I would like to point out is the excellent customer service at Subaru Stamford. After narrowing it down to the Subaru Impreza that we wanted we made an appointment to come on a Friday evening to finalize everything. After getting stuck in traffic we were very late and thought we would have to come back the next day but Ken & Luke stayed almost two hours after the dealership hours to work with us. Most people would be rushing to get home on a Friday evening they truly went above and beyond to work with us around our busy work schedules! Overall, Ken and Luke made the entire process easy. These guys really care about their customers. Purchasing a car is a large investment and Ken & Luke really took time to make sure we knew all our options before we made any decisions. If you are looking for excellent customer service and a great deal then I would highly recommend purchasing your car at Stamford Subaru.

Side note: I'm only saying this because someone gave an unfair review because of the building. Although Brad (finance), Jim (pre-owned sales), and Danny (service) were in different departments - they were uniform in their professionalism, courtesy, honesty (refreshing in a car dealership!), and in the lengths they went to answer or compensate my concerns. Though I live in Norwalk, it was well worth the 20 minute drive to their conveniently (next to exit 6 of I-95) located dealership. It's my first Subaru and I just adore the Outback. Who knew a car so many amenities could be so affordable?

When it was time for me to look for a new car. I went into Subaru and I was first Helped by Dan Oconnor. He took a lot of time with me looking at the Cross Treck and the Immpraza 5 door. I wanted a good car for the snow and bad weather. I also looked at the Kia, Madza, Hundi and the Toyata C. I did not like any of the cars but the Subaru. It drove like my old 300 D Mercedes but was not good in the winter. Dan was very honest with me and I made sure that the Cross Treck would fit in our tight spaces where I live in Stamford. I went back with my mother to buy the car but Dan was not there. So to find out about the Costo Discount we got to Jonathan DiMgelio who we ended up with by getting the 5 Door Imprezza limited. When Jonathan was not in I talked with Keith Britt and he was also very helpful. They have a great staff in Stamford and makes me feel welcome when I come in with questions. I will recommend Stamford Subaru to my friends. This is a great car in the snow and I am very happy with my choice. I am not afraid now to wait on a hill like I was in my old car which was a taytoa Corolla. I do not slip also in the rain.

I worked with Aki to buy a used 2011 Subaru Legacy and felt comfortable throughout the entire sales process. I'm fairly new to buying cars but have already had awful experiences of salesman being "wishy washy", unhelpful, strong handed, standoffish, you name it. Aki was great, totally personable, helpful, and willing to work with me to get the best price for the vehicle I was purchasing while meeting all my needs. I would highly recommend Aki to anyone looking to buy a car, and would absolutely go back to him again.Bobby was also a pleasure and helped contribute to the overall nice, comfortable, and genuine atmosphere at the dealership.The financing part of the process was my most dreaded after the last experience I had where the associate changed the interest rate, didn't say anything, and tried to force me into quickly signing the agreement without looking it over. Brad did nothing of the sort and was never pushy. Overall and A+ for these guys. Great team and highly recommended all around.

The staff at Subaru of Stamford made the leasing of a new car on of the easiest, most pleasant and cost savings experience I have ever encountered when purchasing a large ticket item. Jonathan D. my salesman was so busy the day I walked in he had an other staff member take me out on a test drive. So instead of wasting my time he used a team approach to keep me satisfied. He and I discussed the type of payment with the least amount down and worked up a very competitive price. I was so impressed with the way everything was handled and the fact that they didn't push all the "Extras", that I actually bought the maintenance program (something I have never done but would strongly recommend on a lease). I finalized a purchase for a used 2011 Ford Transit Connect XLT today and am beyond pleased with the service I received from Subaru Stamford. The company I work for asked me to look into purchasing a Ford Transit and I found one online on cars.com through Subaru Stamford about 3 weeks ago. I called the office and was put through to Aki. He has been fantastic from start to finish. Aki helped facilitate a deal for purchasing the Ford Transit and trading in a Jetta that made my bosses happy. Aki's follow up was fantastic, never pushy or overbearing. This was my first time purchasing a car through a dealership so this process was new to me and because I was doing the trade in for my company I have to say I was certainly a little nervous going into this that I was going to drop the ball on something. Fortunately Aki did not give me the opportunity to mess up. He answered every question and guided me through the entire process. Brad assisted with the financing process which at times got a little complicated due to the type of car we were purchasing and the way that the financing was going through. Brad worked extremely hard to get us the best possible financing terms available. I was impressed that he never stopped working to get us a better deal. I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Aki, Brad and the entire Subaru Stamford team. I am grateful to have found a dealership that I actually look forward to dealing with again. Thanks guys for all of your patience, commitment and hard work, and you will certainly be hearing from me in the near future as I will be looking to purchase a vehicle for myself within the next few months. I purchased a used Audi A4 from Aki at Subaru Stamford and am very happy I did so. I consider myself lucky to have dealt with Aki. I live in Queens and was basically looking throughout the tristate area for the right car. On the day we bought the car we had been at dealerships in Long Island, New Jersey, Westchester then finally in Stamford. The day had been mostly filled with frustration but we decided to make one last stop at Subaru Stamford to look at a used red Audi A4 convertible we had seen online. Unfortunately for us the car had just been sold, but Aki had shown us two other Audis in the lot. Both were in excellent condition but the one that was in our price range was a manual transmission, which for me was out of the question. The other one was an automatic but was a little bit out of the maximum we were willing to spend. Aki worked with me to get the car in my budget at a price I was happy with and Brad was able to get me a nice deal with the loan. I am very happy with the way I was treated. Aki is extremely friendly and was honest in his dealings with me. The car is exactly what we were looking for and after owning it for about a month and a half, Im extremely happy with it. I would highly recommend going to this dealership and talking to Aki if you looking for a car. I didnt feel any pressure from him so it would only benefit you to see what he can do for you.

I tell everyone about my experience with Stamford Subaru. People cannot believe what a wonderful experience your dealership gives!What is so different about Subaru Stamford is that when you purchase a car they do not forget about you. The Used Car Department continues to give you the same excellent customer service that you got at purchase time even after you are gone! Aki kept his word and was available after the sale for questions on maintenance. Then when we had an issue that we could not fix on our own, we decided to go back to Subaru's Used Car Department to ask how we can handle this. Bobby immediately got us the best person in service. Thank you Bobby. We appreciate the wonderful department you run so smoothly! You definitely show your department by example how important customer service is! Then we met James in Service who really listened to us. James knows his product and is willing to explain the problem and the proper way to fix it. James makes you feel comfortable with the repair that Subaru needs to do. He is honest and does not push unnecessary repairs when it is not needed. I was extremely apprehensive about my first purchase of a car as a single woman. Aki made my experience very comfortable and easy. He came in on a Thursday, his day off, to show me a car i saw on the internet. We went on a test ride and when I said I'd like to drive it more, he was perfectly fine with that and never did i feel rushed or pressured.I got a great deal on my trade and the purchase of my new (used) 2009 Subaru Legacy. It was a pleasure doing business with this dealership, from the purchase and finance dealings to the pick up of the car. They even took the car back to the shop when I saw some scuff marks on a side mirror and had it buffed out for me.I highly recommend this dealership and will recommend it to friends and family and I'm from NJ.Thanks everyone from Aki and Brad to the sales manager. I had arranged a visit to Stamford Subaru and arranged to meet John DiMeglio. I had discussed with John the two car models I was interested in seeing and taking a test drive in. He had both cars lined up and I took them for a drive and selected the Subaru Forester 2.5i. I was given a Costco membership price for the car, and John was able to improve on that price. Overall. I found the whole car buying experience to be very stress free. I would recommend people to ask for John when looking to buy.

I have always bought cars privately due to all the bad stories of car dealerships. Subaru Stamford has changed my mind on this due to Aki Stefanidis. Aki was so patient, knowledgeable, no sales tactics, not pushy, was up front, and honest. I did not feel like I was at a car dealership. The biggest thing was he did not treat me any differently because I was a women. He talked cars with me. I was so comfortable asking all the many questions I had about a Subaru. Aki agreed to my request, which was to meet the mechanic to get a hands on knowledge of how to keep my used car purchase maintained. To be at a dealership and be respected by all the guys at Stamford Subaru was something that I have never experienced before. As there are gals out there that are car people too! Thank you Subaru Stamford for changing my mind by being a great dealership to work with! Aki went out of his way to give us top-notch service all the way thru the process! I chose Subaru Stamford because of the great reviews I'd read about Aki Stefanidis. The reviews were right, Aki was easy to work with and made the experience of leasing a car relatively painless. He listened to what I was looking for, found a car on the lot that I could take home the next day, and within an hour and a half of discussing costs, I was set (Teddy helped with this part of discussion, and he and Aki were a great team)! I did end up with a different model than I'd decided on, which was a bit more expensive, but I'm happy with the car and all its extras--the heated seats will be great in the winter. When I picked my car up, Aki explained all of the car documents and showed me how everything in the car worked and I was done. I highly recommend Aki and Subaru Stamford.

I came to this dealership to look at the 2012 WRX STI that they had used on the dealership. Aki picked me up from the train station in Stamford. The dealership has a lot of vehicles to choose from, and Aki helped me determine which possible used vehicle would be best for me. I test drove multiple vehicles, the STI twice, and determined that none of the vehicles were right for me. I began investigating a new vehicle with Aki, which would make the most sense, however, given the model year change, that decision also appeared to be less than ideal for my needs. As a result, I determined not to purchase.Here's the scary part. I had such a great experience there, I felt bad not buying from Aki, even though logic doesn't support the purchase. I strongly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a no pressure, up-front, honest experience at a car dealership.

I bought a used 2010 VW Jetta from Subaru Stamford. I worked with Greg Pinyan and Bobby John. They were both very professional and friendly. They did not use any high pressure sales tactics.I was very satisfied with the price of the car and the entire sales process was straight forward. I did not use their service dept. so can't comment of quality of work.I would definitely recommend this dealership.

There's plenty Subaru dealerships in the Tri-state to choose from when it comes to servicing my Subaru. However, not all are created equal. After visiting another local dealer for a simple check up I left unsure about how ethical they may be in the long term . The Service department at Subaru of Stamford isn't a "typical" service department. Jay , Dan , and Anthony are all honest people at this dealership , they are very straightforward and what is NEEDED and what is recommended . They are always welcoming and accommodating . The technicians seem to get the job done right the first time around and have kept my vehicle running smooth. I am not one to typically write reviews , but after many service visits , Subaru of Stamford is the first dealer I recommend in the when it comes to servicing your vehicle.

I went to multiple dealerships, mainly to shop for the service centers and to find a wonderful staff because price was generally the same between the five dealerships I contacted. I was down to two dealerships and I went with Subaru Stamford and here is why.Everyone treated me with respect regardless of how old my fiance and I looked. I went to five dealerships and Subaru Stamford was the only one who did not refer or treat us as a "young couple" (we are in our late 20's and were undressed compared to the other dealerships we went to). The staff I dealt with are very personable and down to earth, I felt as if i knew them for years. First I spoke to Ray on the phone who directed me to Ted. When I came to the dealership without an appointment, Ted had another appointment at that time and sent me to Aki. After Aki worked out an amazing price for me (better than all the other dealers) I worked with Luke with payment. All of these guys were simply amazing to deal with.The main reason why I chose Subaru Stanford is mainly because of one person. His name is Aki Stefanidis. This man is a breath of fresh air and is definitely what any one in customer service should strive for. My choice was go to one dealer who had the car in stock (new STI Hatch, only one in stock within 40 mile radius) or wait a few months and give my business to Subaru Stamford. Aki called me back two days later informing me that he got the car and be ready to be picked up in a few days. He is honest, patient, caring, joyful, humorous, and the list goes on and on. An example of some of these traits is on the day I picked up the car. Aki took out 2 hours out of his personal time to teach me how to drive and everything there was to know about my new car. I cannot say enough good things about Aki. I will not deal with anyone else in the business unless he/she is recommended by Mr. Aki Stefanidis and of course Ted Mochlas (thanks for referring me to Aki). Move this man up the ranks fast, he will do wonders to whichever dealership he goes to and I will follow. Thanks to all the staff who I've dealt with to make my purchase an amazing experience.

So we were dreading the "haggling process" that was so painful in the past. What a surprise! Dealing with Subaru Stamford was basically fun and relaxing! I started looking at the new Subaru 14 Forester in the beginning of March and visited many dealers. Since this is a new model many of dealers did not have them in stock or the options and features I was looking for. I was almost ready to give up when I call Subaru of Stamford and spoke to Mr. Aki Stefanides. He mentioned that he had one on the list that was in delivery status and that it met all my requirements. He advised that I should come in to see him if I was interested. A few days later I finally visited the dealership and met with Aki. I found him to be very professional and personable. He reviewed the options and features that I was looking for and with a hassle free environment. Aki also confirmed the expected date of delivery and I couldnt be happier as it met the time frame I was looking for. A few weeks later the car arrived and I received a call from Aki that it was ready to pick up. Once I arrived to pick up the car Aki had all the paper work ready. All was completed in a short time and he was very helpful in explaining all the features on the car. Aki is truly a people person and I would recommend his services to all.

I scheduled an appointment and went to Subaru Stamford for a test drive two weeks ago, on a new 2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i. My dealer was Aki Stefanidis who was very patient to me. The whole process took an hour and he was very helpful in answering questions. He did not push me at all for future purchase.After that I was satisfied with the price-cost of this car for my situation, and made several phone calls for different dealers around the area. Since it's a new car I didn't expect much discount on MSRP but Aki did give me a better price than other dealers, which lead to a final purchase. They didn't have my color for the car in stock but they managed to deliver one with that color in just two days from another dealer, which was very impressive.The final day was also quick and efficient, no strings attached, very patient explaining details, and the new car is CLEAN WITH FULL FUEL. From my own experience I think Subaru of Stamford and its dealer Aki are professional and efficient. No hidden fees or tricks all along the way. And I would recommend my dealer to you if you visit here.

Buying a new car and leasing for the first time was a terrifying concept for me. I have had horrible past experiences. But Aki Stefanidis and all the staff at Subaru of Stamford made this experience a pleasure. From the moment I stepped into the dealership, I felt welcomed. I was greeted and allowed to browse around the showroom floor alone. When I found two cars I was interested in, Aki approached me and introduced himself. He answered my questions and gave me the brochures I needed with his card. No pressure, just attentiveness and professionalism, which I appreciated. Days later when I returned with my husband, Aki remembered me and my six year old son. He was kind and patiently answered all my inquisitive child's questions, which were many. We took a test drive and loved the Crosstrek. I was leaning towards the orange Crosstrek but wanted to see it in person. Aki quickly made that possible and drove us to the off site lot so I could see it. The next day, I came back and leased the orange Crosstrek and love it. Aki, took the time to review all the features the Crosstrek had to offer. I greatly appreciated this since I bought my last car in 2001 and the latest technology then was power windows, a CD player and cup holders. A few days later, I was pleasantly surprised when Aki called to see how I was enjoying my Crosstrek. He assured me that if I had any questions or problems, I should not hesitate to call him. Overall, this was the best car buying experience and I highly recommend Aki Stefanidis and Subaru of Stamford.

I visited the Subaru showroom after having spent several months looking for a used car that had some bells and whistles but was still in my price range. In the front of the showroom was a beautiful 2009 Subaru Forester, leather seats, sun roof, everything but the built in GPS--and for a price I could afford. Aki Stefanidis greeted me and we hit it off immediately. He was friendly without being pushy. While new to Subaru, he was an experienced car guy and was able to answer all my questions. I wanted to take a longer test drive than usual. After looking for the manager to see if I could take the car, he said, "Let's go," and away we went. He pointed out the cars features and we shared a few laughs. The car was great and I was sold. When I arrived to pick up "my" car a couple of evenings later, it still needed to have its emissions tested. Rather than make me come back, Aki slapped a dealer plate on the car and I drove home. The next morning Aki stopped by my office, took my car in for it's test, went back to the showroom for the new plates and dropped it back at my office. It couldn't have been easier. No drama, no hassles--just the way it should be. Thanks Aki for taking such good care of me.

I went to Subaru in stamford to look at the Subaru BRZ. I had the pleasure of working with Aki Stefanidis, who was absolutely spectacular. I did go to the dealership with the intent to buy the car as long as I liked how it drove but have never been a fan of pushy sales people, which I am so use to. Aki made my experience buying a car there so pleasant. Not only are the guys at Subaru in Stamford not at all pushy, quite the opposite they went out of their way to make sure that every question I had was answered, they helped me set up my Bluetooth before I even bought the car, just so that I could try it out. They also made me a play list on a USB drive so that I had music to listen to when I left the dealership. Aki also checked in with me after I took my beautiful car home to make sure that I was happy. I am giving the rating that I have because I have never had such an enjoyable experience buying a car before ever in my life. I could not be any happier with the service as well as the car. I look forward to dealing with them in the future for service and maybe another car in the future. Thanks so much guys, I could not be happier. This is my 5th Subaru, the 2nd with this dealer. I worked with Rich at his previous showroom. When it came time to lease a new car, Rich was no longer there and I tracked him down to Stamford. He and Teddy have been great to deal with; Teddy's followup and attention to detail is second to none. Service guys are great as well. I'd recommend Stamford in a heartbeat.

I had a very good experience with my recent new car purchase and trade in. I worked with Sean Cooligan who was very thorough, patient and customer focused. I felt no pressure from him which made the experience more enjoyable. All questions were answered in a very thorough, exact manner. The whole process of selection, trade in and purchase were made very easy. The paper work and financing were also very easy to complete. Sean followed up with a phone call the day after to see if I had any questions or issues. The only negative was the person i did the financing with who spoke about some other with warranties which was a bit confusing and I was not ready for it at the time. Out of all dealerships a have used over many years, this is the best. The manager was friendly without being pushy. The sales man really listened to my questions; I knew I had his full attention. He explained the features of the latest model of the car I was buying in detail, without being redundant or hurried. He offered further assistance in case I came up with some additional questions later. The whole transaction was a pleasant experience.

I made the right choice of purchasing a used 2011 STI from Stamford Subaru. I am very happy with the car and my salesman Tommy was great! I didn't feel pressured into buying, he was very thorough in his explanations about the car and even gave me a follow up call to see how I'm enjoying the car. My service writer Jethro has been helpful and seems to have my best interest in mind. He is also a car enthusiast like myself and really knows his stuff. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with the service at this dealership.

This dealership is an AMAZING cohesion of dedicated sales and service staff! This is my second car purchase, and HONESTLY, I'd NEVER go anywhere else to get a car! 1. The sales staff are so honest and helpful. They assessed my needs and the kind of car I was looking for and they did so much to help me find the perfect choice Subaru. The finance staff was so easy to work with, they helped me get my car in just an hour! The car was in perfectly clean and wonderful shape, it was a pre-owned model. 2. The service department is extraordinary as well. Not too long ago, on my previous car, I thought I was having a problem and stopped by a local "Firestone" location to check to see what was going on. They told me that the brakes needed to be replace and it was going to cost around $700. I decided to ask my Subaru mechanic to review the brake issue and he said that the brakes DIDN'T need to get replaced, but just some maintenance on them. He saved me $500!!! I trust these guys SO much.. would NEVER go to another mechanic again! This is a GREAT PLACE to get wonderful deals.. I've recommended a couple of friends and they are as thrilled with Subaru Stamford as I am! Thank you so much for your WONDERFUL SERVICE!!

Very strange experience. I went to buy a new car late on a Saturday, settled on the one I wanted and got a reasonable offer for my trade in, subject to further inspection from someone who was not available on the Saturday. I deferred the buying decision until Monday in order to check with my wife, as she would be driving the car - and never heard from them again! I even called them myself on Tuesday but as the person with whom I dealt was not going to be back in work til Thursday, they simply suggested that I come in to talk to someone else, meaning I'd have to go through the whole deal again. Hardly the encouragement and customer experience I wanted. Still no call back from the original sales person, now 6 days later. However, I am enjoying the Impreza I bought yesterday from Georgetown, a pleasant and all together more responsive dealership.

On the persistent advice of a co-worker, I decided to buy a new Subaru Outback. The local Subaru dealers would not sell me one at a fair price, so I tried out of state. The buying process was short and smooth, and I bought my Outback at a fair price at Subaru Stamford. There were no tricks or gimmicks at Subaru Stamford. It even found the Outback with the options and colors that I specified. The only issue is that I have to wait ~2 weeks to get my NY plates and registration card. This being the third Subaru purchased at Stamford in the last two years, I have found all buying experiences to be pleasant and painless. Aside from some confusion in the finance department, which was quickly cleared up, we are now the proud owners of a beautiful new Outback. Our sales rep, Linda was informative and patient. She handled all questions competently and we never had the feeling of being rushed, or pressured. She presented a deal that was fair, requiring no haggling. I would, and have reccomended Stamford Subaru to my friends and family.

We just leased two wonderful 2013 Subaru Outbacks at great prices. Stamford Subaru is the best dealer we ever utilized and we strongly recommend that others do the same.

Had been looking with another dealer for 2 months and he was unable to get this specific car. Although Stamford did not have the car on premises was able to locate one the day after I met with them, which was impressive. Gave me a good price on trade in. Only negative, did require a deposit (refundable) in order to search for the car.

Buying a used car at Subaru was painless. Everyone from the sale consultant to the financing specialist was very professional, courteous and did their best to keep prices and rates down and give you all the accessories you request for the car. Little known fact: all used cars sold at Subaru Stamford can be certified (7 years or 1000,000 miles bumper-to-bumper coverage from date of service). That's how much you can trust the cars you buy there! The service technicians know what they're doing and no one will try to sell you a lemon or otherwise dubious car.My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the car I bought. It was supposedly detailed, but the truth is the dashboard was sprayed with silicone and that's pretty much it. There were black finger marks all over the place and I even found nut shells and candy wrappers in the door's compartments. A shiny dashboard is not everything...

I bought a Subaru at a NY dealer and asked the Service Department at Stamford Subaru to have a look at it during the 30-day warranty. If not for Danny, I would have kept the car and made a huge mistake. It had major issues that the other dealer insisted were non-issues. Danny went through the trouble of putting the car on the rack for me and showed me every single problem personally. He even offered to check the car for free after the other dealer did the repairs. As it turned out, after 7 weeks the other dealer was still dragging its feet and I got my money back after getting the BBB involved. No need to tell you that I'm going to Stamford Subaru for my next car!!! Just because of Danny and his team! Because I'm assuming the service team is as careful with the used cars they sell as with the ones they service.

The dealership had competitive pricing, as well as a good selection of vehicles. I found their inventory online, it was current as listed, and much of our pre-sales back and forth was accomplished on the phone before we go there. Our sales person (Greg) really went out of his way to iron our a few issues with the sale.

My experience with this Subaru dealership was wonderful. Mike completely understood what I was looking for and my budget and found a car that was perfect for me. Nobody tried to push me to buy it and I loved that. I felt very comfortable at this dealership and I would recommend everybody shopping for a new car to go there. I bought my new Subaru Impreza a little over a week ago and I love it more and more each day.

I went to Subaru seeking an all wheel drive vehicle. Not knowing a lot about cars, I had a lot of questions, and Rich and Teddy answered all of them. They explained the features in detail and differentiation points that mattered to me. Professional staff that listens to your needs. Would highly recommend buying a car here.

Outstanding service! They are experts. They explain everything. They listen carefully. They advise you of all your options and give you as much time to decide and as much information as you need. They are polite, friendly, competent, basically a breath of fresh air in the automotive service domain. "Tom and Ray" (of "car talk" on public radio) would have told you to go only to them for any Subaru service. Bravo. Kudos.

I can always get an appointment fairly quickly. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My car has never come out dirty from the oil change or with scratches or anything like that. I was also able to get a wheel alignment while I was there instead of needing to go to a tire and wheel shop.

The salesman was very friendly and provided a competative price. However, after making a deposit on the car, I found another local dealer who did better on the price, providing more features for less money. When I returned within less than a week they refused to return my deposit. The other dealer has a deposit return policy. The sales person said with great autority that Stamford Subaru does not refund deposits on cancelled orders. This is a 2013 model in August of 2012. I'm sure they will be able to sell the car to another prospect. That is not how I think you should do business. Not good PR. Unfortunately, I will be carring a negative experience forward regarding Stamford Subaru when speaking to people in the market for a car.On Monday, however, the General Manager responed within two hours after this review was posted and stated that it is NOT the policy of Stamford Subaru to keep deposits on cancelled orders. There must be some confusion in the ranks of the sales force. They have refunded my deposit. So, just a word of caution for my friends - don't give deposits until the contenders have weighed in with final offers. I had only intended to close the door by answering a follow up call with the other dealer and they made a better offer.

Ted Mochlas was extremely generous with his time without any pressure whatsoever. He went to great length to acquire the exact vehicle with the exact specifications that I wanted from another dealership in a very timely fashion. I was fortunate enough to have a VIP deal through my professional organization which eliminated any financial hassles. When I was ready to pick up my new car, Ted spent a good deal of time going over all the fine nuances of operation, even though it was a Friday afternoon after a very busy week. I am thoroughly enjoying my new car, even more so because of my sales experience. Having had the pleasure of dealing with both Danny and Anthony when I owned by 2002 Outback, I am looking forward to the ease and courtesy of the Service Department in the future as well.

I recently purchased a 2012 Impreza Sport - Hatchback from Subaru Stamford. My sales consultant - Linda was knowledgeable, trustworthy and very helpful. The time requirement for getting the car was extremely short and Linda went out of her way to meet my difficult requirement. In addition, Teddy called many other Subaru dealers to try and locate the car I was interested in purchasing. The inventory for 2012 Impreza's is minimal due to their popularity. Subaru Stamford went ouf of their way to get me the car I wanted and at a fair price. I highly recommend stopping by Subaru Stamford if you are in the market for a new or used car.

we were very happy dealing with the folks at Subaru Stamford. We found the car we were looking for, just off lease. We received a fair trade-in offer on our existing car. After buying the car we've learned from others we've talked with who have also done business with this dealership, our experience was similar to theirs. It appears the dealership works on the idea they would rather make their numbers on volume rather than high price. In the end it makes for a very pkeasurable experience.

I was a first time buyer so I was suspicious going in but all my concerns were put to rest after talking with Ted. Everything was crystal clear and completely painless. I also use this dealership exclusively for service. The people in the shop are great, Danny always goes above and beyond so if you need help go to him. They have a car service and will drop/pick you up from work (this is huge for me since I commute a long way). So far every time I have gone to this dealership was great and would recommend this to all my family and friends.

I wanted to comment on the great experience I had with Stamford Subarau and especially with Tony Tsokalas. I did not feel pressured in any way and did not have to sit through a lot of "sales talk". He was very informative, very honest, and he guided me through the process in a way that made me feel comfortable. After sitting with Tony, I made my decision that I would only purchase a car through this dealership. I purchased a Subaru Impreza and I am extremely happy with the choice that I made.

One of the reasons why I chose this dealer were the good ratings it has received. Boy, was I disappointed with my experience! I bought a used non-suburu car which is probably half the reason, but if you are not going to be nice about selling ANY car you have for sale then you should not be selling it. The dealer rep (Greg) did not return my phone calls, did not know much about the car (and did not want to find out), and kept bringing up my national (European) background for some strange reason. He kept telling me how they are not making any money on the sale of this car. Well, 1. I dont car if you make money or not, since it was the price they listed and I did not negotiate any way. 2. Even if you are not (which I find highly unlikely) maybe they would make it next time if I decided to return to them or recommended them to someone else. Needless to say, we had to buy a second car 6 months later for my husband and we stayed very far away from this place (and the place we went to was 100 times better even though we had to negotiate). We bought the car because I wanted this car, but 1 month later brake lights went on and they did not know how to fix them. I spent 3 hours there, did not get it fixed, ended up going to the dealer of my make and got it fixed in 1 minute (resetting sensor). Greg again was useless, rude, and did not return my phone calls. He had the guts to ask us to recommend him to our friends! Maybe our enemies, if we had any. So bad experience with customer service and service, but the car is great and I love it.

Stamford Subaru and Tony Tsokalas made my Subaru shopping experience easy, efficient and fun. Tony and Bob Wuensch (finance manager) were very helpful and explained my options - I explained what I thought I needed and asked them to suggest what would work best for me with regard to financing the car and taking care of the car. Both spent time explaining my choices and I never felt rushed. Tony was incredibly thorough in walking me through how to operate and take care of the car.I feel each did his best to help me and each was very patient. I felt that they were trustworthy , genuine, very knowledgeable and I would give them excellent marks on professionalism and friendliness.

We went to Stamford Subaru after a very unpleasent experience at another dealership. What a difference in attitude and service. Ted Mochalas had the carwwanted in stock and within 15 minutes the deal was completed. Great Costco price on the car; no need to haggle.Our Outbackwas ready for pick up the next day. Ted spent nearly two hours going over the features and getting us set up on the Bluetooth hands-free phone link. All in all a great car buying experience. I would highly recomend Stamford Subaru.So far the Outback has been a great choice; good gas mileage and comfortable to drive; loded with features for a competive price.

He was very knowledgeable and informative when going over all the features of the car. Showed us how to work the Bluetooth. Was very patient when I had problems with it. Took us through step by step. My finace and I just purchased an Outback Limited from Stamford Subaru. Sean was amazing and showing us vehicles and answering all of our questions. When we walked in we were not sure whether a Subaru was the car for us. Sean convinced us that it was, got us a great price on our trade-in and we walked out proud Subaru owners, 2 weeks later I am even more sure that it was the right choice for us. The business manager (bill or bob?) was great and got us a fair deal on our financing.

Ray Baldwin (sales person) was a pleasure to work with. He gave us a good overview of the cars we were interested in and addressed all of our questions quickly without pressuring us. He offered to arrange a test ride and promptly provided us with a fair quote on the car we purchased and the car we sold to Subaru Stamford. He was able to track down the car we wanted within 3 days and kept us posted while he searched. He had the car clean and with a full tank of gas at time of purchase. Even more important, he spent well over an hour going over all the features of the car on a cold December afternoon and has followed up to make sure everything was going well post purchase. Wish all car sales persons were as professional and courteous as him. Everyone at the dealership seemed outgoing and professional as well.

I have owned several Subaru's over the years but also many other foreign and domestic make automobiles including Audi's, Lexus, Chevrolets and Fords. My Subaru's have been purchased in both Stamford, Ct and in Bourne, Mass. The quality of service in the Subaru dealerships has been nothing short of outstanding. There obviously has been an extremely strong service emphasis and directive from the top of the organization along with an excellent training program and selective hiring practices to achieve such superb quality and attention to the needs of the customer. And among the service reps who have assisted me over the years, Danny DeAlmeida of Stamford Subaru stands out in a class of his own. Danny cares and he shows it in every way. He always exceeds our expectations and goes the extra nine-yards to make sure we are more than satisfied (and sometimes shocked) by the quality of the service delivery. I was able to get a loaner while my vehicle was being fixed and the total price was very fair. Danny offers the best service there is out there. My visit at this dealership was a positive experience. The service folks were upfront and explained everything that needed to be done. No surprises and the pricing came in as they said it would. Everyone at the store was friendly and i will recommend this store to friends and family. While waiting the sales dept personel were helpful and not pushy. I was treated fairly and look forward to stopping in again.

Our sales consultants, Mike Pitaro and Tony Tsokalas were extremely patient and went above and beyond in answering all our questions and especially in helping us choose the right car for our teenager. Tony was particularly helpful in finding us the exact car we wanted and explained every little thing about the car before we drove off in it. Mike Sweeny is an excellent Business Manager and made the whole financial process easy and stress-free. Everything was handled perfectly. Of all the dealerships we have dealt with over the years, Subaru Stamford is far and away the best. Our entire family absolutely loves our new Forester, but most of all, our 16 year old loves it! I have four children and the Tribeca seats seven and offers a rear seat entertainment system that keeps everyone quiet while I'm trying to drive. George and his staff took time to show me all the differenet vehicles and help me decide which vehicle would best serve my family. George cut through the normal dealership games and gave me a great price for the vehicle. The service and professionalism are of the highest quality. Their efficiency and attention to detail is second to none. Just the other day I had a flat tire and called Rob in parts. He had the tire ordered and called me back within 5 minutes. I brought the car in and I was on the road again in a flash. You can tell they care about their customers.

The friendliest car dealership! We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door. Linda was greatfrom beginning to end. I recently had service done on my 2008 Impreza at Subaru Stamford. Danny in the Service department was extremely helpful. As a woman, it can be daunting to deal with a service department because, often times, you feel like you are being taken advantage of. But not at Subaru Stamford! Danny made me feel very comfortable and confident that the work he was going to perform was necessary. His professionalism and honesty was much appreciated. My car is driving like a dream!! I also wanted to take a chance to say that I will definitely be going back to Linda in sales next year to buy a new Outback. She was so friendly and helpful when I purchased my pre-owned Impreza in 2009. She was great to work with and took the time to explain everything about the car to me. She was very knowledgeable about Subarus in general - I was very impressed! As a mom of 3 who is constantly on the road, it's great to know that I can count on the friendly folks at Subaru Stamford to keep my family safe while we are driving.I would recommend Linda and Danny a thousand times over. What can I say, my experiences with Subaru Stamford have always been top notch. I've dealt with them in the past, and I know what to expect from their sales team. So when I decided to make the jump to a new WRX, it didn't take a second thought as to who would earn my buisness. Negotiations were prompt and fair, the sales team worked hard to give me exactly what I asked for on my trade-in, and in the end, they prorvided me with a deal that I couldn't be happier with. The ease of dealing with their entire staff is something you don't always find at a dealership. After my initial inquiry through a local Subaru forum, about a specific car that they had in stock, I recieved prompt, thorough, and detailed answer to my questions. Not long after my inital inquiry, I made the decision to purchase the vehicle so long as numbers worked out. I arrived at Subaru Stamford at about 2:30pm on Friday afernoon, and was finished with the negotiations and purchase process before 4:00pm that same day. The process was quick and painless, and I was behind the wheel of my new car first thing on Saturday morning.I know that there are many Subaru dealers in Connecticut and neighboring states that provide fine service as well, but I've owned nearly 20 cars, and most of them were purchased through a dealership of some type, and I can honestly say that my experience at Subaru Stamford was the best by miles. Customer service has been top notch and my car is great. Teddy and Rich help me get out of my Honda lease early, because I was over mileage and essentially paying double for the car. They worked to get me a solid value for my trade and into a lease payment that was cheaper than I was paying on my Accord. I just went back for my 1st service and Danny and Anthony both helped me out while I waited for the car shooting the breeze with Teddy. I really felt these guys, Teddy especially will be there to take care of me going forward. In my opinion, you can not go wrong with Ted, Rich, Anthony or Danny at Subaru in Stamford.

I live in New Jersey and found these guys on auto trader.com because they had the lowest pricing on 2010 outbacks. I dealt directly with the pre owned manager who walked around the vehicle and told me about every nook and cranny. I was hesitant at buying a used car sight unseen but Bob made it very easy. Like the last review, registration was not complete but I was explained the out of state registration process and it all made sense. I was put on a temporary plate and i received my nj plates in 1 week. I highly reccomend Bob and their pre owned operation.

I recently purchased a used Mazda from this dealer. The customer service level provided was TERRIBLE. Bob Wuensch, Business Manager, was extremely difficult to work with as he frequently was unresponsive to my inquiries. Furthermore, he did not return my calls on several occasions and did not nothing to speed up the pathetically slow title/registration process. It took the dealer 3 weeks from the date of purchase to have the paperwork completed and have license plates/registration sent to the dealership. In no way was he proactive or helpful in completing this process, as I had to follow up with him constantly to ensure things were getting done as they should. Fabian Toledo, Sales Consultant, was very nice to work with. However, I wish that he and the rest of the dealership valued their customers more. I felt as though they did not give a crap about their customers or seemed to care about having my ready for pickup. I would not recommend purchasing a car from this dealership.... definitely go elsewhere.

I live closer to 3 other Subaru dealerships in NY, but I pass them by to go to the Subaru dealer in Stamford. I bought my first Subaru from Jon in 2006 and keep going back thanks to Anthony and his team in Service. As long as these guys are there, I'll be going back to Stamford. Thanks again guys!

Easy Breezy. Went into Subaru Stamford not really intending to purchase a car that day but Teddy and Rich made everything so easy and understandable. I decided to lease a Legacy when the price came in $50 cheaper than my current Accord lease. I love it! I've only had it a week but I absolutely love it. Only complaint is you can't get the Navigation on the model I purhcase but I can live with my Tom Tom.

Bought a 2003 Subaru Outback LL Bean got a very good deal. Bob Moore was a great guy to deal with before and after sale.Dealt with John D. also a teriffic guy.Deal was fast and painless not like Victory Toyota i dealt with last year.I will make the trip to CT.next time i need another car Thanks Vincent from Brooklyn

Dealt with Matt & Rich, both a pleasure to deal with. Very simple transaction b/c I knew exactly what I wanted to pay and what vehicle we wanted. We walked out of there thinking that we will definitely use them for service even though there are multiple dealers closer to our home. Picked up the AWD Outback right before this big storm and we are very happy.

Price on car changed 2 times b/c of "mistakes". We had a printed out quote from them and they still changed the price. Wasted 2 days of our time. The managers were rude and condescending in every interaction, especially when they tried to justify the price changes. A price is a price, either honor it or don't quote it in the first place. And DON'T CHANGE THE PRICE WE AGREED UPON WHEN WE COME BACK TO BUY THE CAR. I read alysonc's review, seems like he had a similar bad experience but then had a change of heart after he met George. Unfortunately, we never met George, we only dealt with his underlings and it was very unpleasant. The most pleasurable thing was walking of out that dealership knowing that they won't get our business.

I had posted a comment regarding this dealership months ago and how extremely unhappy I was with how I was treated. I recently went back to have the car serviced and seat fixed and dealt only with the Branch Manager/Owner, George. He was a pleasure to deal with and made the entire experience painless. I highly recommend dealing with him regarding any questions, issues, etc. Excellent customer service is what I have always valued and he delivered this 100%.

Purchased a new 2010 Outback this past Saturady from Subaru Stamford and I could not be happier. The sales people were friendly and out of all the Subaru dealerships I visited, their sales people were by far the most knowledgeable. When it came to price, they could not be beat and the best part was they gave me the lowest price the first time. A beautiful no haggle pleasant experience. The salesperson took me on a tour of the dealership and I was very impressed to find a play area in their service department for my 3 year old. Thank you Subaru Stamford, I will recommend many people to you.

I live in Norwalk and have a dealer nearby but I drive right past those guys and make the trip to Stamford. These guys do a really nice job of working a deal to the specifications I want. I left there with a new 2010 Outback Limited for the payment I wanted, without hassle. Something I couldn't get at 3 other dealers I went to. Great experience!

Bought a used car from these guys (2006 Nissan Altima)...test drove on a Monday, brakes squeaked, salesman said he'd have them checked...went back on Wednesday, no more squeaks, rep said brakes had been replaced and car was still at same price, $11,900...bought car, did paperwork on Thursday...Business Mgr. sold us an Extended Warranty at 1/2 price...two months later we took the car to a Nissan dealer because the brakes are squeaky...find out that "somebody" put AFTER-MARKET brake pads in, and THREW AWAY the mounting kits and shims that are supposed to hold them all together...screwed up the calipers...$754.00 worth of 'Gotcha'...called the warranty company, NOT COVERED...wnet to dealership to cancel worthless warranty, Biz Mgr first offered to fix problem at a discount (Sorry, Mate, You had THAT opportunity. 'Fool me once...'), then said "I'll take care of cancellation today"...1 week later I called Warranty Co. to see if contract was cancelled...NO! Had yto cancel by fax with all sorts of info...BOTTOM LINE : SUBARU is a great car, and maybe this is a good dealership, BUT be careful if you're looking for a used car!!!

Price was changed twice on vehicle. Even had written original quote, but dealer changed price. Went back with problems, had nothing but issues with their sales staff. Entire dealership was rude. When asking for advice and help you get no where with them. Customer service is terrible, and expect DAYS for anyone to get back to you with a reply. I had to leave many messages and emails. My advice - GO TO COLONIAL SUBARU IN DANBURY!!! It's worth the trip and the customer service is great!
