My husband came to the dealership because they were promoting "just pay the sales tax". All you needed was a valid drivers license, proof of income and the sales tax. Well that all changed when they found out he was a 1099 employee. Then they wanted lease agreement, tax returns and all kinds of nonsensical information. This is all after being at the dealership for 4 hours! To make matters worse, they took payment for the vehicle and then started asking for other documentation! The payment had to be refunded and the funds were put on hold! I ended up taking the rest of day off day off to purchase the car. In total, we were there from 9:30am-6:15pm. I'm not entirely sure I would buy from them again. The bright spot was our salesman, Rich. He was a nice guy and helped make the experience better.

We were initially looking for a used vehicle but Anton our salesman showed us some beautiful new cars and had us test drive them. My mom decided on the Rio which was a good choice for her since its just her and her little dog. Anton listen to her needs in a car,and her financial comfort. It was a great experience. James stayed well after the store was closed to help me purchase and drive away in my new Kia Soul, He was great, so helpful and didn't make me feel like he was trying to get home, in fact the opposite, he reassured me that he didn't mind staying so I could drive away in my Soul. I picked out my car on Sunday and it was delivered to my work over 40 miles away by Tuesday!!! Great customer service!! I've bought cars twice as much as my 2016 Kia Soul+ and haven't been treated this well. Financing was a breeze and I got the exact car I wanted. My mother and aunt have also bought cars from this dealership recently and have experienced the same great customer service!!

On Thursday, October 15th at 8:56 pm we were given a purchase agreement and we gave a $500 deposit to hold a used vehicle. We were getting a loan from our own institution, which we told our salesperson, Ken Wozniak. On Friday I confirmed our interest in the car and said to be in contact soon(when loan was completed). 3 business days later I was to close on the loan when my banking institution called to tell me when they called the dealership for info about the car, they were told it was sold. I immediately called my salesperson, Ken - who has yet to call me back. After no response to the messages I left, I spoke to the manager. He claims the salesperson tried to contact me 4 times. He sent one email on Monday afternoon which I didn't get, until I checked it, after the bank called. When you want to get an immediate response from someone you DON'T email, you CALL!!! The manager was unapologetic, arrogant and unprofessional. His response to me was that my check went through the shredder & he could get it out for me. This car was supposed to be a birthday present for my 16 year old daughter. Happy Birthday Honey!

I didn't buy my KIA here but I have taken it in a few times to be serviced. Not the most updated dealership as far as facilities go but they are more than fair with their pricing especially for simple items like oil changes and tire rotations. Very customer friendly as well. Will continue to use them.

I have been shopping for a car was contacted by Greg spoke with him serval time asked him before I got there to make sure everything was verified and I was good to be financed went in a picked up the call Saturday got a call Tuesday saying the finance company was unable to verify my employment and I needed to bring the car back because the loan was not going to be funded I put down $500 which the dealer refused to give me. I wouldn't recommend a DOG GO TO THIS DEALER....

Whatever caused all the negative comments here has changed big time! I enjoyed, yes actually enjoyed buying a new car at Summit Place Kia in Mt. Clemens. Everyone, from the time I first walked in the door, until I left in my new Kia Soul was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. I went to this dealership after visiting 4 dealerships. I have a 2012 finance sedan car and after a year my husband and I decided that we needed a car with more space. We decided we don't want to keep the car we have no more than 4 years and so we decided to lease instead. Mike A. ask us what kind of vehicle we want and what color and what payments can we afford. He didn't pressure us at all and try his best to work out the best monthly payment we can afford. His manager is very helpful with the entire process too. The entire process went so smooth. Plus since my husband is a veteran they gave us a discount. Now, my husband and I are very happy with our new Kia Soul ! If you were to buy or lease a car I would recommend to come and see Mike A.

I just love my new Kia Optima. The sales man DJ was great and very helpful and my kids loved him. He walked me through the whole car so I knew where to find everything and how to operate. He made the experience of buying a car very easy. When it came time to get my remote start I called him directly and he set the appt. When I got there, they took my car right in and got it done quick. I would recommend this dealership and make sure you deal with DJ in Mt Clemens.

I went to this lot because they sent me a pre-approval for financing. They suckered me in and lied to me repeatedly. Unfortunately, I didn't see it at the time. I was a sold a car that has been a consistent problem since the day I drove it off the lot. It has spent more time in the shop than I've spent driving it. Be very careful when dealing with these people. Or better yet, just go somewhere else. They will do anything to get you in to a vehicle but if it breaks down they will do a shoddy job of repairing it. These glowing reviews that appear on here are quite obviously people that work for the dealership or have been posted by their marketing team. The whole place is a FRAUD!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

My last car was "American" with a lousy 36,000 warranty, which left me having to buy an extended warranty which covered squat. I got fed up fast, so I went to the company I knew had an awesome warranty and now makes some models in America--KIA. There is a new dealership not 3 miles from my house and they were quick to respond to my e-mail, give me great deals, worked hard to find just the model and color vehicle I wanted, and gave me awesome deals and refunds and were a lot of fun. Of all my car buying experiences, this was my best! AND I LOVE THE CAR! Thanks Mt. Clemens Summit Kia. I'll continue having you service the car with regular oil changes and so forth, although in my experience Kia's aren't to need much servicing!

They were very nice in the beginning. I went 20 the Dealer 3 times, the first time I was in for 2 hrs, the 2nd I was in for over 4 hrs and the 3rd time I was in for over 3hrs. The waiting was horrible and they did get me approved but when I didnt accept what they were offering me because it's not the car I wanted they tried talking me into the deal even though I said I didnt want it.
