We worked with Chuck at Sunset and he was great! Very helpful, informative, and straightforward. He wasn't pushy when we needed a few days to decide if we wanted to buy the car we were interested in. We had 2 young kids with us and he was very patient and gave them some toy cars to play with while we were there. We had done a lot of shopping before coming here and had a lot of bad experiences at other dealers. The car itself was a great deal and Sunset Motors gave us a complimentary safety inspection at the local Big O Tires. There was a crack in one of the mirrors and they set up an appointment for us to get it fixed at a local glass repair shop. When we were leaving the lot we noticed some condensation in the tail lights that hadn't been there before and even though that wasn't in the contract, Chuck made it right and helped us get it fixed. I thought they were a great hometown car dealer and I would recommend checking them out.

We highly recommend Sunset Motors. Chuck was phenomenal to work with. We felt that he was very upfront with us and didn't play games. We had a mechanic look over the suv before purchasing, and Chuck was very accommodating with allowing us to take the vehicle for a few hours to have it checked over. It was a quality vehicle that checked out nicely with the mechanic. There were a couple small things that needed done, and the Sunset Motors mechanic was able to take care of them. He even worked late so I could get the SUV quickly. Chuck went above and beyond in every way to make our buying experience very enjoyable. I will only ever buy used from him!

A smaller lot with a selection of pre-owned vehicles. The folks there were great, I just did not endi up selecting the vehicle I looked at because of oil being all over the engine bay.

Awesome guys to work with, bought a killer Jeep from them, great value, checked against KBB and carfax. Chuck was a chill guy to work with. I'm really happy with the knowledgeable but laid back attitude he had. I'd definitely buy from them again.

In twenty years of buying cars, I have never been treated as well as I have been with by the entire crew at Sunset motors. Steven went above and beyond any dealer in the valley in regards to my financing and helped me secure the best class of financing possible thanks to his relationships. I will save you the story but let me tell you that you can buy with confidence from this crew. While they don't have a Big Dealership feel with all the hotdog stands, new paint and houndishly helpful agents, Sunset passes their lower overhead savings to you with a much more caring and casual attitude. I am certainly glad I landed at this dealership. After a month long search of looking for the perfect car, I not only found that at Sunset but I also found excellent customer service which we all know is hard to find at a dealership. Steven provided me with the best car shopping experience I have had. I didn't feel pressured to do or buy anything. He educated me on the vehicles background and left it up to me to enjoy the experience and get a sense of the vehicle. This was the first online vehicle I have purchased. It was a great experience. They gave me a great price and was 100% honest with every defect. I flew in from Texas and they picked me up from the airport. The honesty and professionalism was much more than expected. Steven was great, and helped through the entire process. I highly recommend sunset motors to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle.

No wonder this business has been in Boise for 3 generations. Very fair pricing, great customer service, nice, nice people. Thanks to Chuck and Steve for allowing me to drive away feeling secure about the deal instead for wondering how I just got taken! If you are in the market, you will do yourself a great disservice if you do not go see the folks at Sunset. The selection of cars is diverse...something for everyone. Highly recommend.

I like supporting small family businesses and that's just what Sunset Motors is. Grandpa started the business about 50 years ago and son and grandson carry on today. Steven was very helpful and a straight shooter. He agreed to fix a window problem on the 2005 Jeep Liberty I purchased and when a problem came up with a second window (a Jeep thing), they had that fixed with a free oil change to boot. Very pleased with Sunset.

I just purchased my third vehicle from this outstanding local dealership. I have never found better vehicle pricing, less pushy sales staff, and a diverse amount of vehicles. Chuck always addresses my concerns, and questions in a timely manner, and is extremely, fun and professional to work with. His financial knowledge is outstanding, so he never works me over, he just gets the job done. The entire staff is wonderful, but Chuck will always be my guy. Thanks again Sunset Motors. The salesman was awesome. He wasn't pushy or rude. I walked in and was greeted by friendly people. The prices are awesome too. Overall this was the best car buying experience I have ever had.

I was looking for a car and we came across sunset motors by being referred from another reputable dealer.They do not have a huge lot, but bigger is not always better.The selection of cars was great and they seemed to have something for everyone.They are family owned and have been in business since 1963.The salesman Chuck was not pushy ,and was very down to earth and friendly.They don't charge a dealer doc fee,and they printed up car faxes for both vehicles we were interested in without us asking.The cars are below book.I was worried about our credit,and being self employed.Chuck treated us very respectful and git us approved.We will refer our friends and family as well as buy our next vehicle there.Brian,Chuck and the owner were awesome!
