The actual buying experience at Tempe Honda was really good. I feel that I paid a fair price for a really good car. Both customer agents involved in the sales process were professional, friendly and good to work with. The fifth star is missing only because, once I had made my buying decision, what "enhancements" that were not included with the car were not disclosed so that I could decide whether or not to add them before the sale was done. I have a current addition!" I've now had the car for 5 months and put (exactly) only 3,500 miles on it. I had to take it in to your store for service yesterday because I got a B 1 7 (needs oil change, brake fluid & tire rotation) notice. THIS MEANS THAT TEMPE HONDA DID NOT INSPECT OR SERVICE THE 2018 CRV BEFORE SELLING IT TO ME! After all, who needs an oil change after only 3,500 miles? I LOVE my car. But must now warn used car buyers to do a thorough vetting BEFORE buying!

The Salesman Peter Metrahi did an excellent job explaining and helping compare cars. Was very relaxed and laid back. Likewise finance manager Jay was personable and easy going. No backroom pressure tactics whatsoever. But when I circled back and wanted to know more about options he answered all questions professionally. A very easy and pleasurable car buying experience. Had to wait a few days for our car, which is normal in current market.

All these good reviews will happen only when you keep giving them money. I had my Honda Civic serviced in this place and the car started showing 'Check Engine' warnings within 1 week of service. It was a complete fluids change service and they did all the inspections and I paid around $500 for the service. I took the car to them and asked them what the issue was. They asked me to pay another $90 just for diagnostics. They will rip you off and they wont take responsibility if anything happens to the vehicle. VERY POOR SERVICE.

I never leave online reviews, but this time I just had to. I'm a single mother of 4 kids. I bought a used Honda Odyssey at this dealership in June of 2016 for $12,000.00. The vehicle came with no warranty, but I felt confident getting a reliable car when buying directly from the Honda dealer. Since I bought the car, I already had to take it to the mechanic several times. The air conditioning stopped working just 2-3 months after I bought it and had to get it fixed. In October, all the gauges and dashboard stopped working and the van started to make strange noises. It had to be taken to get fixed again. Beginning of November it started shaking very bad and ended up at the mechanic for almost a week. After it was fixed, it started shaking again and had to be taken to the mechanic a 4th time. Now, it's shaking again and it sounds like something is rubbing against something else when driving on the freeway. We reached out directly to the general manager, but have not received any response. I don't know what to do. I can't afford constantly fixing it. Now I am stuck paying a vehicle for several years that doesn't work properly?

Very disappointed with my first car buying experience. Bought an over $20 K 2014 Cr-V I was told the car would be great for a mom with two young kids, Reliable, it would rarely brake, blah, blah. The car still has 4 k bumper to bumper warranty and about 30 000 more miles for the included warranty (don't know the name). After more than 3 long hours at the dealership, I finally got to meet Ed, the finance guy. He made sure I felt concerned about my car breaking and me not having the Extended Warranty. He said, my A/C would cost me $1800 to fix if it broke, and came with all these scary numbers that my car would cost to fix! Guess what? My kids were hungry, tired, annoyed after bring there all afternoon and I was exhausted....so I agreed to purchase it. He even mentioned that the sales man used the employee discount to give me a discount that I still cannot find on my documents. I was offered $2500 for trade in and ended up getting $2000 because they were going to fix the $100 radiator plus the $100 cost of labor??? SO where the xxxx are the other $300???? I didn't know what a Low Jack is but when I signed the docs I saw it was on he price, I learned a day later that they just put it and included it on the price without asking if I was purchasing it. Of course, they saw the naive mom desperate to buy a reliable car right? I bought the car last Saturday, called them on Monday to ask to cancel the EXTENDED WARRANTY, the sales man said, he would call me, never did. I ended up leaving work and paying for after care for my kids to go and see the people at Honda in person. I was sent to see "Ed" the finance guy again. He was no longer super nice, friendly, Ed. He said I could cancel the EXTENDED WARRANTY but I would not be able to get the money on my pocket. Ed said it would go towards my principal in a couple of months. He was dry and annoyed. Just FYI, those extended warranties now I know, you can buy them if you really need them for less than $600. In my case the total cost for the warranty after the term of the loan would be costing me nearly $2700 with Honda Tempe (their back end profit). Here is the million dollar question: If you kept telling me how amazing and reliable my new car was going to be, especially because it is a Honda and SO NEW, why did you insisted NON STOP on me buying an EXTENDED WARRANTY when the car still has so much warranty left?Rather than feeling happy for my new car, I feel so stressed about the enormous amount of a loan I ended up with. I put $10,000 down payment and they still ripped me off. And here is the best part, they told me my old car was so old it was going to go to the auction. GUESS WHAT? They already have my Ford Escape on their website for sale for over $5000!!Liars.

I did all of the research and quoting via email, and made an appointment to purchase the vehicle my wife had selected. I got there and the vehicle was ready, and all the terms were exactly as discussed earlier. After everything was done and we were ready to drive off, I noticed a single item on the vehicle I had not noticed before. It was entirely personal preference, I would not have noticed had an exact model not been parked immediatly next to it. I asked if I could have it changed. Keep in mind that my wife's iphone is already paired to the bluetooth and the car is running ready for us to leave. I would not have felt bad at all had they said no. Instead, the service manager was brought out, he took it back to the service bay, and 25 minutes later I left with it exactly the way I wanted it.I had put off this needed purchase because I was dreading the process so much. Had I known that the process would be this easy, pleasant and straightforward, I would have purchased much sooner.

Just bought another car from Tempe Honda.... they are an excellent dealership. The whole team worked hard to find a car that fit my very narrow monthly budget. I've worked with the service department before for my older Honda.. the service department is very honest. In the last 14 years I've had nothing but excellent service from Tempe Honda. When we left we felt that we had negotiated the best deal for the vehicle we were after and we felt we got it at a fair price. I have been shopping around PHX area. I got a few quotes before I walked into dealerships. Most of them play games with you, especially if you are a foreign people (from my own experience). However, Tempe Honda is be much much better. It is easy to talk about the deal and they are willing to do their best to meet your expectation.

Always pleasant, got Shuttle ride home while car being serviced. Had staff advise on brakes, were inspected and sais didn't need replacement yet, had a/c serviced and set back to factory specs....blows cold as ice again. I wouldn't take my Honda Accord anywhere else for service/.

He was very proactive in contacting the right people and getting the parts covered and warranty. I am again pleased with the standing customer service displayed at Tempe Honda and overall satisfaction with my owning my first Honda Accord! Kudos. In contrast this past month, when we were notified the Honda Fit was part of the airbag safety recall, has been the worst customer service experience. From the first moment of contacting Tempe Honda about the recall letter to today when I picked up my car it has been nothing but a tremendous stress and headache. Never have I been treated with such disrespect and lack of professionalism. They are awesome when they want you to buy a car from them, after they have your money the attitude changes. For the most part they were polite and smiled but you could tell everything I requested they do they did begrudgingly. To top it off Honda Corp still has not gotten in touch with me as was promised and it been over a month. Tempe Honda and Honda Corp made excuses and neither took responsibility for anything. Buyers beware, you have been warned!

I have loved the Tempe Honda service experience, since day one. I bought my Accord at Tempe Honda and have only had it serviced there. I really enjoy having a service adviser assigned to me as he knows my quirks and my car, for 7 years now. And you get a free car wash! The waiting lounge makes you feel at home with everything you need, coffee, tea, TV, papers. If needed here is a shuttle to take you where you need to go and bring you back. They have you covered for all your needs and think of everything. Special thank you to David for 7 years, who takes care of "us" when we get there! I love my Accord and Tempe Honda!

Everyone at Tempe Honda made us feel welcome, put no pressure on us whatsoever, gave us a great lease deal on a 2016 Accord LX with all the features I needed. I could not be happier with the service I received from Art Ocana (salesperson) and Reece (finance). Professional but personable, no pressure, very pleasant, great rapport, they took ALL the headache out of leasing a new car. I am very happy with the product and the treatment we received. Great car buying experience! Helped a friend buy a CRV. There was some haggling to be done, which I enjoy, but there weren't any tricks like crazy $ for add-ons. They moved as quickly as they good, with the only delay being on my firend's side of things. Tempe Honda was rest to go and Terry is a man of his word. I forgot the name of the sales rep and can't find her card, but she was great, too.

I just moved to Arizona and wanted to buy a new car. I was more interested in buying a Rav4, but after test driving the Honda HRV, I convinced myself that this was the right car for me. I went to several Honda dealers, and found that every sales person I met was more pushy than the previous one, until I met Christian Vasilj from Tempe Honda. He was very courteous and respectful. This is my first car I buy in US and was afraid to go to dealers by myself, afraid of being cheated or "forced" to buy a car that I wasn't going to be satisfied at the end. Hopefully I met Christian and gave me the confidence to make business with them at the right price and terms. Thank you.

I spent a little over a month going to different dealerships to ensure I made the right decision. I was feeling overwhelmed with multiple dealerships blowing up my phone and being very persistent for me to buy. When I went to Tempe Honda, I was greeted by multiple sales agents, including one of the managers. They all treated me so well and genuinely seemed in helping as best as they possibly could. I had been so apprehensive for weeks about making a car purchase, but their honesty and genuine interest in my satisfaction as opposed to just making another sale really convinced me to make m purchase there. The sales agents I spoke to were Mike Johnson, Chris Miller, and Christian Vezilj and I would highly recommend all three of them if you ever consider stopping by Tempe Honda- thanks to them I now drive a 2016 Honda Accord sport that makes heads turn!

I had a great experience. I was actually dealing with three Honda dealers at the same time and I chose Tempe Honda because of the patience and well mannered staff. My salesperson Alex Figueroa was very insightful with tips and advice. Our Finance Mgr Casey Reece made us feel very comfortable thru the whole process. We took our car in for an oil change and requested that they check for an oil leak. The Service Center came back with an estimate of work recommended totaling over $3,700. Cars resale value is around $5,000.We were told we had no choice for a $670 item (new oil pan) as the drain plug threading was damaged. This does happen with older Honda oil pans, so not totally surprised, but Big O Tires had been changing the oil on this car for years with no issue. We grudgingly paid the $670 and replaced the oil pan. This was NOT the oil leak problem. Remaining recommended work was over $3,000 - fix the oil leak - rear main engine seal ($1,324), plus replace the timing belt, water pump, and front seals ($1,094) - HOWEVER the timing belt wasn't required / recommended by the Honda service manual for another 15,000 miles, so where did they get that this was now required?. Power steering pump reseal ($357), replace the oil filter housing O-ring ($193), and a Distributor 0-Ring ($75).This seemed ridiculous, so we took the car to our local NAPA Service Center. Oil leak fixed for $160 total. It was the oil filter housing O-ring and the oil pressure switch (not even identified by Tempe Honda Service mechanic). It was NOT the rear main engine seal, nor the front seals. Power steering has had a minor leak for the past 10 years so not worth addressing. Car has not leaked any oil for over 2 weeks since NAPA completed the repair. We were sure glad that we went for a SECOND OPINION! Perhaps you should too!

Crappiest Service in the Valley? Go straight to Tempe Honda! Although the service person who met me at my car when I drove up was courteous, the manager is a phenomenal example of why people should be trained in customer service BEFORE they are given positions that require tact and an understanding of how to keep customers. This was the second Honda dealership I attempted to have a paint service done on my vehicle. The first apparently misheard the service request and had booked me for an oil change instead of the Auto Butler care for my vehicle. Although annoyed, I can understand that the person I spoke to on the phone may have had a miscommunication, and I was told that Tempe Honda handled the service. I arranged for the Auto Butler service at Tempe Honda via the internet and the service was accepted. Imagine my surprise when I drove up to the dealership and was informed that they would not complete the service. In fact, they didn't even offer it. When I spoke to the manager, who did NOT provide his name, he said "Why don't you call every dealership in the Valley. I'm sure one of them will handle the service and I wouldn't want you to waste your time driving around". As he said this, I saw at least 6 employees standing around chatting with each other. I would be more lenient if they were busy, but with that many free people an appropriate response would have been to say "let me check with other dealerships for you". The dealership where the vehicle was originally purchased is over 100 miles away and I was told "It's not our problem if you move".

My wife and I had not made up our mind on which brand to buy and we started at Tempe Honda. I had worked with Saad on the internet and he was very helpful with pricing and answering our questions. When we arrived at the dealership, Saad went over the two CRVs that interested us and when we had decided between the two we took it for a test drive. Needless to say, we looked no further. Our experience was enjoyable and we will definitely recommend Tempe Honda to our friends. For anyone buying a car, you know the "add on selling" is always coming as the contract is completed. We braced ourselves and were prepared to say no thanks. Rich the finance guy, didn't do any hard selling and even suggested the programs we probably didn't need. We plan on keeping this car for some years and actually did include a few programs that will enhance that experience. In this computer world it's nice to check out inventory and compare brands before you visit the showroom. If you are thinking of buying a new car using this approach, ask for Saad at Tempe Honda! Overall, great experience and we would do it again.

Everyone is really friendly here. I was in a couple of times and everyone remembered me. They were really accommodating, even when I was there late, and had trouble coming back in to finalize everything. I wasn't bombarded with text messages, emails, and phone calls to get my business. I never felt pressured to make a decision, it was very easy going. Christian is awesome! He's helpful, understanding, and easy to talk to.

Went to have the sunglass holder in the ceiling replaced on 2012 Honda Pilot. Ken Smith was the service agent. He took care of the task, and was very courteous and helpful. He even had our SUV washed. We live off of a dirt road North of Payson and hard to keep Pilot clean. The experience was great.

My experience at Tempe was first class from start to finish. I met Weston O'Brien in new car sales and he arranged for me and my wife to test drive all the models were were interested in. Weston proceeded to explain all the vehicle options and then prepared unbeatable pricing. We are very happy with our brand new Honda Odyssey. Tempe Honda has perfected customer service. I just purchased my fourth vehicle from this dealership. I keep going back to Tempe Honda for a number of reasons, but to name a few . . . they truly make you feel as if you are their only customer; there is no back and forth regarding price etc to the manager, making you wait and wait; and their Penske service department is amazing for after the sale. My first three purchases were negotiated through the same salesman, but he moved to another location Honda in Gilbert so this time I dealt with a younger guy, Westin, and I found him to be an excellent salesperson and will be dealing with him again as needs change, and if he is still at that location. I cannot recommend Tempe Honda highly enough, even down to the finance manager I dealt with. Friendly, funny, knew his business, really a great car buying experience!

Experience was pleasant! Christian Vezilj was professional and knowledgable. My husband and I enjoyed the whole experience. We live in Tucson and drove all the way to Tempe because we wanted to buy our vehicle from Christian. We would not only recommend him to our friends and family, we would buy from him again. I sent an email to Tempe Honda asking for info on a new Honda CRV. Within a short time Chrisian V. Answered my email questions and send me some inventory prices. I called him back, we set up an appointment for the same day. When I arrived, he was there ready to show me the inventory and answer all my technical questions. We agreed on a price deal. We went over the functions on the car. The car went to final detail, we met with Vince the finance manager. He had a system to expedite the paperwork process. He was very friendly and professional. Christian returned the car, we did a final inspection ( all in order). Christian went over all the technical features of the car again. As he handed me the keys, he assured me that Honda was an extremely reliable car but if I had any problems to call him and he would be there to make sure the problems were handled quickly and efficiently. Today, Christian called me as a follow up and again stated any questions or problems contact him immediately. He thanked me again on his behalf and also from Tempe Honda. This is my third Honda car purchase and I have to say without a doubt that it was by far the best at Tempe Honda. I had a terrible experience at Right Honda in Scottsdale. It was so refreshing to have a salesman as courteous and patient as Christian V. throughout the process. He explained the vehicle options and spent a lot of time going over the car's technology with us. He even mailed me back a small tag I left in my old car that I needed for free coffee. Now that's service! Christian, you're the best! He is a valuable asset for the dealerships success. I had a wonderful experience at Tempe Honda. Dennis was professional - he I formed me about my future service needs without pressuring me into service I don't need at this time. This was the best experience I've had in my four years of service at Tempe Honda! In the past, I have left with an oil drip after my first oil change, my wheel lock was missing after a visit, and I felt pressured to replace my brakes last year (I still have an acceptable amount of brake pad left and these are the original brakes). I am very pleased to say that this visit was flawless! I feel respected and valued as a customer and Tempe Honda has improved the quality of my Civic.

My adviser, Kaweka, got the shop super, Mike, to ride with me so I could show him my 2 problems/noises. Mike identified both (front brakes and transmission) right away. Mike came up with an alternate way to fix my trans that saved me thousands, and I didn't have to replace my trans right now. Brakes are great and don't shudder or make a noise. The price was right. Kaweka and Mike are outstanding employees! Thanks guys!! I'm 65 and your service has been the best experience I have ever had. I was taken to work, then picked up later to get my car. Can't beat the service.

It was Honda Summer Clearence and I got a smoking deal. Bought a 2015 CRV and love it!! Didnt feel pressure. Felt like I could walk away if I wanted to. No one kept my driver license or keys like in my past. When we came to a mutual decision I was in and out in 3 hours. They even threw in a tint job. This is my fourth Honda and second time buying from Tempe Honda. Very happy and will never deal with another Honda dealership.

Because of Christian Velzilj, my car buying experience was a much more pleasant experience than I had anticipated. I visited the dealership because of Honda's reputation and Christian's pleasant and very professional presentation was a bonus. I have bought cars before and appreciated that there was no pressure and I did not feel insulted. At the same time, Christian did an excellent job of pointing out the features of the car and reinforcing Honda's reputation. I visited a few dealerships and returned to Honda to purchase.

Went in to ask a question about my lease of my 2014 Ridgeline and look at the new Pilots as well as the Accords. I met with my usual salesman Abdul Zaitouneh. As it turned out I was able to get out of my lease and into a new 2015 Accord EX-L. As usual Abdul was extremely knowledgeable about the car. I am always impressed with his wonderful demeanor. The car is beautiful. It just took a bit long to get the whole transaction done. My 13 year old son was getting pretty restless. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Tempe Honda and Abdul Zaitouneh to all my family and friends.

Very easy car purchase. This was like my 9th car purchase and was by far the easiest one. Anthony the sales associate was knowledgeable and took a proactive "Listening to my Needs approach" which was refreshing. He never tried to steer me in one direction or another car wise. I went back and forth on the 2015 Honda Accord LX and Sport and finally decided on the Sport. The sales manager Chris was great and gave me the payment options on both vehicles with a no hard sales approach. I didn't feel like they were giving me an "okay" offer and that I would have to spend time haggling back and forth. The offer right out the gate impressed me. Richard who handled the financing was great.. He informed me of all my financing options and additional items I could purchase if I desired. Most times after buying a car I have felt like "Glad that is over with" but this experience was so nice that I'm actually looking forward to my next car purchase at Tempe Honda. RJ

When I decided to get my Honda Civic fixed, initially I didnt consider taking it to the dealership. Im on a tight budget, and this is always on my mind when I consider servicing my vehicle. But after thinking it through, I decided Id better at least talk to Tempe Honda and see what they could offer me. I have some knowledge about cars, so I at least knew that the side engine mount needed to be replaced at well as both front axles. I also knew that power steering fluid was leaking, so I suspected that work would need to be done concerning that as well. I had called around to many other places, and nobody would give me any kind of pricing over the phone, they were only interested in me dropping off my car for them to look at. When I called and talked to Dave at Tempe Honda, I didnt get that kind of treatment. While he made it clear that the mechanic would ultimately decide on what work needed to be done, he honored my request to quote me for the side engine mount only. He was also very clear that they didn't have any appointments for this week, but would squeeze me on Saturday as long as dropped the car off at 8am and left it all day. After I made the service appointment with Dave, I received 2 email reminders. Had I not received them, I may have forgotten about the appointment so they were much appreciated. When I arrived at the dealership to drop off my vehicle at 8:00AM Saturday morning, the man I spoke with said I didn't have an appointment. I explained to him that that Dave had agreed to squeeze me in if I left my car at the dealership all day and showed him my email confirmation. The gentleman then brought out my new service advisor, Troy. He was very friendly, and explained to me that he would make sure my car was done before the end of the day. My wife had followed me to the dealership in our other Honda, and she gave a ride home. Troy called me at 3:45 PM to go over the service he recommended. Over the phone, Troy let me know that my initial suspicions were correct, and in addition to the side engine mount that needed to be replaced, both front axles needed replacing as well. He quoted me a price for both, but I declined the axle replacement and told Troy to only replace the side engine mounts. I utilized the complementary shuttle service to get back to Tempe Honda from my home. The shuttle driver Becky returned my call promptly after leaving I left a VM and picked me up in a timely fashion. Becky was also very personable, and was a joy to talk to while she drove me back to the dealership. When I arrived and waited for the service to be completed, I sat in the customer waiting area. It was clean, reasonably comfortable, and had plenty of amenities to keep me occupied while my car was being worked on. When the work agreed on was completed, Troy brought me to his desk to go over some additional issues that the mechanic had discovered. He clearly laid out the additional work needing to be completed, which was not totally unexpected by me, since the car is basically 10 years old. I declined all of the additional service needed, but Troy made sure to note most of the recommendations on my service statement. Troy did however forget to note on the service statement that he also recommended the timing belt be serviced, since I informed him that it had never been changed during the lifetime of the car. I made sure I wrote it down on the statement when I got home. Thanks to Dave, Becky and Troy I had an overall great experience and am looking forward to returning to get the additional work completed.

Christian, our salesman, thoroughly explained the leasing process to us and took a lot of time showing us vehicles. He answered multiple questions we had - even going to find out the answer if he did not know. We were impressed with his professionalism and felt no pressure during our time with him. We leased a Honda CRV and are very happy with our purchase.

I inquired for a new vehicle and I had a response right away. When I went to test ride a vehicle, it was ready for me, the internet manager and sales person were very nice, very professional and not feeling any pressure from them, which made me very comfortable. well everyone involved in the transaction did a great job. There is always plenty of inventory for selection and prices are better than the competition; This is the reason I continue to come back to this dealership, I had bought my last 3 cars here.

Carl Grotheer answered the phone this morning when we called Tempe Honda. He was friendly, positive, and a wonderful advocate for his dealership. Yesterday we had narrowed our car search to two cars and the Civic SE was our end choice. We were ready to purchase but over at AutoNation they had had no appreciation or consideration for us, for what we needed, or the substantial down payment we wanted to use, so our plan was to head to Ford for the other vehicle and a considerably more friendly deal. On a hope and a whim I called Tempe Honda and Carl answered the phone. I told him what we wanted to buy and he said he wanted our business and now a few hours later we are off in our new car and we feel excited and happy and valued. Honestly, I just had bad experience with this dealership. Took my car for diagnostic because I was hearing a clicking noise when shift from reverse to drive. I believe it won't be wrong if you relate it to transmission, but guess what? They figured out its brake pads noise, because that's the only part which is aftermarket in my car. I have recently spend $200 for front brakes from a local company. So they said its not the HONDA part so that is what causing the noise. I knew that they just saw the pads and they came up with that answer they didn't even diagnose my car. So I paid $71.88 diagnostic fees and took my car to another Honda dealership, They found that was transmission noise and they replace it under warranty. I do have all the documents that show the same complaint and different solutions on both invoices. So it won't be wrong if I say they didn't diagnose the car or they have unprofessional mechanics.

My 2013 Honda Accord EXL had a front broken windshield & Safe lite auto glass would cover only front broken windshield not camera alignment from my insurance company. I went to tempe Honda for a second opinion on a fluid leak issue. I had been to another dealer and was told the part was not leaking. I asked if the repair would be covered under my power train warranty. That dealer said no. I was met by troy belveal when I arrived. I explained the situation and he got the car in to be inspected. Troy told me the part WAS leaking and my power train warranty would cover the work. Troys care and honesty saved me over 500 dollars in potential repair costs later on down the road. I am having the repair done soon. I will be bringing my car to tempe Honda for all future service work. Thanx for your honesty and help troy.

Basically, I tried 4 or 5 honda dealers in PHX area. I couldn't tell which is the worst one, but I can tell Tempe honda is absolutely on top of all the dealers I've ever seen. The environment makes me feel comfortable and relax. The salesmen, Christian, has tons of patience. They will not push you for a decision, which gives you good enough time to focus on the price, color, model and everything about the car. He also provide excellent services with smiling faces and gentle voices all the time. To sum up, great dealer, great services, great price for this kind of services, all 5 stars. I will highly recommend Christian to my friends, but not only for the recommendation bonus.

Tempe Honda, and, in particular, John Spreine, were wonderful to work with. We had done some research on Cars.com and found a Honda Pilot at this dealership. We were looking to trade in our Toyota Sienna and were on the fence if we wanted another minivan or an SUV. We came into the dealership to look at the Pilot and decided it wasn't the vehicle for us. John pointed us in the direction of a Honda Odyssey EX-L that they had on their lot. This had all of the bells and whistles we were looking for so we started the process. This is the part of the buying experience we typically hate the most: the games of going back and forth, getting the manager involved, the haggling, etc. Much to our surprise and delight, there was none of that here. No games, no pain, they met all of our requests and we were on the road in our new van in just over 3 hours. This was truly the best experience we could ask for in buying a new vehicle. John and Tempe Honda were great!

I really am a person opposed to survey's but I thought if it would help my used card dealer I would fill it out. However, some of the things that bother me about buying a car is that all the cars are locked and you cannot browse in them without the dealer getting a key. It was suggest that I sit in it but I was never asked if I wanted to test drive the car nor did I ask. After doing the deal and driving away my husband and I thought maybe the car drove a little rough because it had sat so long or the gas in it was cheap. Dan in the used car department did give me a voucher to have service check it out. But service then advised it would be best to set up an appointment. Kenny never actually did the walk around the car with me or showed me how to work some of the features. It did however, take mats from one CRV and put them in my CRV. I think it is important in order to make the purchasers buying experience more effortless is for the dealer to suggest way indeed the purchaser might fail to ask. Buying cars can be somewhat intimidating already. Kenny was very patient but did make it known up front that he did not want to waste our time nor did he want to waste his. We like the option to inquire about any and everything when it comes to spending x amount of dollars for a car. Other then all this, it got us in and out. Made sure we have our credit scores and the car fax for the CRV in which we purchased. Thank you Kenny for your help with our Certified used car purchase.

Looking for an inexpensive car for a teenage daughter has been a challenge! Not much she could afford and we were concerned with safety. Stopped in at this dealership as we were driving by. In a matter of minutes the salesman had found us a fabulous car that we never thought she could afford. Amazing CARFAX review and they had done all the minor repairs and NEW BRAKES. My husband and daughter had to go to the bank to get a cashier's check and this took a long time. During all the wait, the salesmen was very patient and kept me company. Paperwork was quickly completed. Also, the finance manager, was funny and kind to us. Amazing experience and I will be going back to this dealership in the future... My teenage son is next!

Was in Tempe a few days to purchase a car for my son. Visited MANY dealerships in the Tempe/Scottsdale/Phoenix atea. Tempe Honda had the best selection of used Hondas. In addition, they also had the best prices. Unlike other dealers in the atea, the price advertiser was the price of the car. There were no hidden dealer add ons that seemed to appear upon further inspection at some other dealerships. Christian was an honest, up front salesman who worked hard to earn my trust. It did not matter to him that I was not from the atea, and treated this business transaction very professionally. I would highly revommend this dealership.

I was hesitant in going in as a woman by myself, having had a horrible experience at another dealership the previous day, however, all of my questions were answered, patience was shown with my indecision (too many choices), and I was treated with dignity and respect. I would absolutely recommend this dealership, and specifically Sa'ad, to family, friend or foe. To start, I had owned my previous vehicle for 8 years, so going into the dealership was already an overwhelming feeling. My sales person Kim greeted me at the front of the used car department and I will say that he was so friendly and patient. He understood what I was looking for when it came to price, size, and a few other must haves in my next vehicle. I got a great offer for my trade in, and was able to leave the same day with my new car. Dutch was my finance consultant and he answered all my questions and went through each page with me that was part of the paperwork. I appreciate the patience they both had with me because again, I had owned my last vehicle for 8 years so I haven't had to go through this for a long time now. I had to get a small crack on my front bumper fixed and the used car manager John Bailey was able to get me into a loaner when I had dropped my new car off. Even recently I had a recall on the radio system and took the vehicle into the service department and Steve Englander was very pleasant. I am very satisfied with the service that I received at Tempe Honda and definitely recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to purchase one from here. The service is outstanding and I love my new car.

I have to say I really do love Tempe Honda! I have always had my Honda's serviced there (2011 Honda Pilot EX-L and 2012 Honda Civic SI) and there service department has always been fantastic in my book. I have owned three Honda's in the past three years all bought at another Honda dealer, and I have to say, I wish I would have bought all of them at Tempe Honda! So my buying experience goes like this....I went in to get an oil change on my Pilot, and a white 2015 Pilot Touring caught my eye! I went in to just inquire and I got a deal I couldn't refuse with the help of my awesome sales guy (Nick Rasmussen) and the rest of the team.So my oil change turned into a swift and easy trade with purchase. One would think great, but no there's more! So after that deal was done my husband came by and the next thing I know we spot a 2015 Sport Accord that catches our eye and we got an even better deal so we did another trade and purchase! Two new car purchases in one day and it all started with an oil change! LOL I have to say it was the smoothest, shortest process I have ever experienced and I would do it all over again, but only at Tempe Honda!!! I want to say thanks to Nick and the rest of the team that did a spectacular job...I really can't say enough great things :)

My original purpose at Tempe Honda was to leave a car for service. I received great insight and value for the service that I ordered.(from Karl) While I was waiting... I checked out the lot to see the new Honda FIT. A sales rep approached me... but only in a support capacity. His name was Nick. He was a powerful listener. I had no intention of buying a car that day... but I ran out of reasons not to. There was no pressure to buy. I was given many opportunities to think alone... or even walk away I was just given more reasons to hang around and learn more. I simply told Nick what I could do for what I wanted... and he was apparently a good advocate for me with his management. The car is home now... and I may have driven it for the last time. The general manager found my telephone number and contacted me. She immediately got me an appointment to get my bumper fixed and arranged for me to have a rental car at no cost to me. She also ordered a new manual for me and had it sent directly to my house. I feel better about the dealership now and hope that the GM's commitment to customer service finds its way down to her team.

The one time I decided to have a Big-O Tires work on replacing the axles on one of my cars, it was a month long ordeal of going back and forth with front end vibration problems. My only bad experience was that when I called to make the appointment the guy I spoke with suggested I be at the dealers at 6:45am. I got there at 6:40am and pretty much sat in my car till 7am. What was the point of me getting there early? I told him that I was dropping off the car and not picking it up till later after work. So I sat and waited for almost 20 minutes. Other than that the young guy that did help me was very nice and courteous, I would go back to you simply because of him. He made me feel welcomed and explained everything to me in detail. I regret not getting his name. He deserves recognition.

I recently bought a used car at Tempe Honda. Part of the deal agreed to verbally with Terry Gluvna (a Manager at the dealership) was that they would do three things -- fix a scratch on the bumper, provide us with a spare key, and provide us with a user manual (since there wasn't one in the car). Within a few days of buying the car, my husband went back to the dealership to get the spare key made. He spoke to Mr. Gluvna, who recalled nothing of our conversation a few days before and said he would need to see the agreement regarding the spare key in writing. My husband persisted and ended up getting the spare key. I have now had the car for couple months and we have not been able to get the bumper fixed, as I have to take the car there during the week and during the day when the body mechanic works, meaning I have to take time off work. I don't have a big problem with that -- I can live with a little scratch. It would be nice, however, to have a manual for the car since I have to Google everything I want to learn about operating and maintenancing the car. I have followed up with the sales rep that assisted us when we bought the car -- Kim Shroyer. His answer was that another 2013 Honda CR-V with a manual has not come onto the lot yet. I would think a large dealership would be more than willing to purchase a $50 manual for a customer who just bought a car. It just seemed like once the deal was done, we didn't matter anymore.

Tempe Honda was recommended to me from a friend, a while back in 2012. I have never liked dealership because of their tricks to get you into cars that you cant afford or are not finance for. Bottom line going into Tempe Honda I was very pessimistic that they could do anything for me at the time. That was of course till I was introduce to this man Jim Franchini. It was a Sunday in late September and I was just going in their to test drive the civic, Jim was able to get me into the car that I wanted which was brand new 2012 Honda Accord. He did not give me the run around straight out told me the out the door price and was very friendly and helpful! till this day 2 years later I rave about my experience because I have never own a brand new car this was my first new car in my 30's and I have had pretty bad experience with dealership till Tempe Honda. I will never buy another car unless its from Tempe Honda or Penske family. Kudos to you all thanks for the great experience.

My experience was bad, but with the finance/sales team and I made sure to they knew. I will not come back here for anything in the future though.

Really disappointed! Made an appointment for an oil change. When I was greeted the service advisor didn't quote me a timeframe but I figured it was the standard 45 mins to an hour. I had an appointment which they recommend for prompt service. An hour and a half goes by and still no status on my car. I asked the cashier to find out and the advisor came by and said, "soon." Another 30 mins I had to ask again (I was on my lunch break mind you). Right then my paperwork comes through, I pay and leave. It ended up being 2 hours for an oil change?? No consultation about the condition of my car, what they did, what needs to be done provided... So, they happened to have had an employee luncheon going on in the showroom the same time I was there. A whole lot of their employees were at the lunch! So is this why my car took 2 hours? I received the follow up email stating that they "trust my service was satisfactory" and if not, to call. I called and talked to the Service and Parts director. He did apologize for the trouble and acknowledged the schedule conflict with the luncheon. He said that his plan was to keep half the staff on while the others went to the lunch. Really? On a normal day you would need all the staff to be fully operational and that day it was only half. I guess that is why my service took twice as long. I got to listen in on the employees receiving recognition for their hard work while my oil change was taking twice as long. He even said previously when they closed down for the lunch customers complained they closed and that customers complain either way. This is an acceptable response? Have it after business hours! It is not okay to make customers wait extra and pay the same price. He didn't offer any compensation for this visit that I was inconvenienced for nor anything to return for a future visit. Not that I want to, if this is how they justify their service. Is this the standard companies are now operating at?? I was willing to pay the dealership costs and was going to Honda for the service and quality. Now that is no longer available I'll go elsewhere. I wanted to write this review Friday after I got back to work but wanted to wait to talk to someone hoping to rectify the situation. Guess not!

My experience with Tempe Honda was not satisfactory. I submitted a loan application for pre-approval and it took them days to find the application. Their web site states turn around time for approval is 24 hrs. which it wasn't. Lack of communication among their managers is an issue, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. They also play the game of saying you can buy a vehicle with little or low down payment and then continue to try to get more and more for a down payment, stating the old line that the bank determines the down payment not them. Same old same old car dealership tactics are used by this dealership.

Great price, superb service by sales people and very clear explanation by finance guys.I found the cheapest new car from Tempe Honda. I virtually shopped all Honda dealers in the valley.Also, great coffee machine. ;)

Raymond was extremely helpful when it came to answering any questions I had about the Honda Accord. He gave me space and time and was not down my throat pressuring me to buy a car immediately. Raymond was honest about what he could and could not do when we were asking to lower the price. When I had a question Raymond would answer it truthfully and if he could not provide an answer he went to find someone who could. Hopefully I dont have to buy another car anytime soon due to my brand new 2014 Honda; however if I do Tempe Honda will be where I go. Thank you!

I would like to take this opportunity to share a recent experience I had at Tempe Honda. For starters, I have been taking my three cars there for the last 7 years. 2003 Honda Pilot, 1997 Honda Accord (recently sold for $3000 w/197,000 miles all service done at Tempe Honda) and a recently acquired 2008 Honda Civic SI. I have been dealing exclusively with Colby Lingenfelter for the last 4 years and this gentleman has simply provided the best customer service that I could expect from a service adviser at a dealership. This time however he went WAY above and beyond my expectations. The 08 civic that I recently purchased had a recall on defective factory paint from Honda. We were concerned however that some of the paint on the car was in spots that are not covered under the technical service bulletin issued by Honda of America. After taking pictures and doing paint measurements to see the thickness of the paint, I was instructed to take my vehicle to the body shop that deals exclusively with Tempe Honda, Penske Collision, because the district rep for Honda wanted to see an estimate for the work that needed to done to fix the bad paint. The estimate was submitted and I was told to wait a couple days to see what the decision was going to be on weather or not Honda was going to fix the paint. I sent Colby an email the next day to see if he had heard anything and in less than an hour he wrote back and had informed me that they (Colby Lingenfelter and Dave Clark the service director) were able to push it through and get the job approved through Honda. I was totally amazed. I had figured that they (Honda) would ask me to pay for half of the repairs but Colby and Dave were able to work together to get it covered 100%. That day both Tempe Honda and Honda of America gained a customer for LIFE! I will not stop taking my vehicles to Tempe Honda for service period! You could not PAY me to take my cars anywhere else. These guys are professional, courteous, and in a day and age in my opinion where customer service has seemed to become a lost art, these gentlemen are a friendly reminder that yes it still does exist. I am always treated with kindness and respect. Sure, I have friends who swear by there mechanics and tell me how much money I would save if I went to "there guy" but I would rather pay a little more and have the job done right and know that if by chance it might not be that they will stand by their work 100%. I would also like to mention two other gentlemen that deserve honorable mention that also work that this dealership, Robert Leiler service adviser and Andrew Evans, mechanic that always works on my cars. Both these guys are great as well. Again I can't thank these gentleman enough for the EXCELLENT service that they have provided for me over the last 7 years. Here's to another 7 years guys. Cheers!

I was preparing for the worst when I went in to lease a car from Tempe Honda. I was extremely surprised by how awesome the experience was and how quick the process went. We were greeted, went for a test drive, and were given all the options. We even brought in an ad from Bell Honda and asked if they could match what the other dealership was offering, and they did it. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

The guys we worked with put a lot of time in to getting us a great vehicle in our price range, and there was no pressuring or rushing us,even though it was late in the day. We drove away that very evening in our new vehicle. Great people.

Horrible Customer Service We are very shocked at the level of disrespect and horrible customer service we received; especially since we are New customers. We were looking at used cars and they did not start and had stuff not fixed on them and leaked oil. They didn't care at all

Thank you to Jim and Dan at Tempe Honda. The experience was smooth, fast and rewarding. I came into the dealership presented my requests of type of vehicle that I was looking for and price I wanted to pay. I test drove the vehicle I researched previously. Turns out that really didn't fit my needs as a commuter car. Then Dan showed me the 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring. I was hesitant with the affordability of the vehicle. Jim in finance worked his magic and I was pleased. They catered to my needs in the vehicle I needed to purchase for my family. Always pleasant, no pressure and they cared. I am completely satisfied and will be recommending Tempe Honda to all my family and friends.

John Spreine was the first person we met upon arriving. He was one step ahead the entire time we were there with the selection of cars, paperwork, and phone calls. He has lots of energy, knowledge of cars, and cared enough to share his honest, personal opinion. He also had me driving out of the lot, in my new car inside of 2.5 hours. This is the most positive car buying experience I have ever had with any dealership or sales person. I plan on telling all my friends, family, and acquaintances about my great experience. My daughter and I think John Spreine and everyone else who had a hand in getting us into a reliable and affordable car.

No strong arming the customer, all sales people I dealt with were great. I have bought many vehicles over the years and never had a Great experience, but the staff at Tempe Honda treated me very well, and I could see other customers were being treated well too. No running around from the sales people to the manager etc. I have and will continue to tell my friends if they need a car stop by Tempe Honda.I would like to thank Dan Wickham and his crew for making buying this car a good memory.Bob Webster

Aaron was very easy to work with, he had a good knowledge of the car and was able to answer all my questions. The price of the car was the price he quoted me online with no hidden extras. The rest of the staff was friendly, I was greeted promptly as I got out of my car and all offer me bottled water. Since I knew what I wanted, I was pleased that the total time it took from the test drive to getting the keys was just over 2 hours, a fun time for me.

What a great experience! Dan is great to work with. We made a deal through email and I was nervous to make the 600 mile drive to buy a car thinking the deal would change when I arrived at the dealership. Tempe Honda honored the deal we made (no bait and switch). It was very refreshing to deal with a car dealership that has honest employees. Went to the dealership and found a used car I wanted, unfortunately the cruise control was broken and could not be fixed; at least not quickly or easily. They assured me they would do everything they could to find me a new car and make me happy. I ended up finding a new, better car (in my opinion) and they made me an offer I could not refuse. I was very happy with all the service I got and how helpful all of the salesmen I worked with were. I will absolutely reccomend this dealership to anyone when buying a new and/or used car.

It is extremely rare for me to write a favorable review. However, after the amazing experience we had dealing with Aaron at Tempe Honda, I was compelled to not only call the sales manager and express my deep appreciation for all of his help, but to let others know about it as well. I consider myself an extremely good judge of character, and from the moment I spoke with Aaron, who is their internet sales manager, I could tell he was a genuine, down-to-earth, and honest person. Not only did I get the absolute best deal (and believe me I put in some legwork), but Aaron turned an otherwise stressful process into a positive experience. We decided to purchase a new vehicle to drive across country in conjunction with a 12-month training assignment. While we were transferring some of our belongings into the new vehicle, somehow my wife and I missed the small box containing credit cards, flash drives with all of our personal information, and IDs. Needless to say we were in a panic after realizing what happened. Aaron quickly responded and secured our "little black box." These are the kinds of experiences that can renew one's faith in humanity. Everyone we encountered at the dealership was friendly, and courteous without attempting to employ any of the usual coercive/persuasive sales tactics most of us have come to expect while buying a car or truck. In fact, because Aaron was so easy to work with, I was able to secure the price and vehicle I wanted before we ever visited the dealership. Once there, he did not try to alter the deal in any way. In fact, he asked my permission to negotiate. As a result, we were able to save even more money. Do yourself a favor and contact him if you are considering a new Honda. He was very receptive to me telling him exactly what I wanted. Aaron really did earn our business, and respect.

My husband and I have had a terrible car buying experience, we came to Tempe Honda as a last resort. We found it to be very different than all of the other Honda dealerships (San Tan, Superstition). They were very friendly and nice. They were not condescending and really wanted to work with our budget! It was the best car buying experience I've ever had and will only go to this dealership for new cars!!! Thank you for being nice and kind and believing in customer service and that you can close a deal without being rude and mean to your customer. It was a pleasure working with these car salesmen and car dealership!!

I have been a proud customer of Tempe Honda for the last seven years and let me tell you I will NEVER take my car(s) anywhere else PERIOD! COLBY LINGENFELTER has been my service adivisor for the last 3-4 years and he has always treated me with kindness, respect, and most importantly like a human being not just another customer. My questions are always answered thoroughly and with patience. If there would be an example to follow for awesome customer service it would be from Colby. Working in the customer service industry myself and dealing with different people all day everyday Colby for sure is a role model for people like myslef who work with people for a living. I just had my 1997 Honda Accord in for service to have the power steering rack, main oil seal, and clutch replaced. Two days after I dropped off the car I got a call from Colby stating that upon completing the job (reinstalling the transmission) and taking a test drive there was a noise coming from the transmission upon engaging the clutch (click click click). He said he needed time to diagnose the problem and he would get back with me later in the day. Colby did call me back a few hours later and said that he would have to pull the transmission again and find out what the problem was, at HIS cost. "I want to make sure the job is done right" is what he told me. I told him no problem. The next morning I got a call from Colby and he had informed me that the issue was a pivot arm and bearing in the transmission and that he had the parts already ordered and that he also wanted to replace the slave cylinder as well as long as he had the transmission out again. He gave me the parts at HIS cost. He also repaired the oil pan gasket while the car was all torn down just to make sure I didn't have to come back at a later date to have it fixed costing me more money than what it would cost while he had everything torn down. It did cost me a couple hundred dollars more but I don't care because I truly feel that he has my best interest in mind. My Accord is 16 model years old and has 189,000 miles on it but thanks to Colby and Tempe Honda I am sure I will EASILY get another 100,000 miles out of this car. BTW Colby always makes sure I have a rental when I need one to get to and from work, AT NO CHARGE. From top to bottom Tempe Honda is THE BEST dealer I have been to in the Phoenix area. I have never had a bad experience with this dealership. I can not say enough positive things about them. My next move will be to call the general manager of this dealership to sing the praises of Colby and Tempe Honda.

Our two sales consultants, Ron Tiley and Steve Pappas, were both friendly and helpful as soon as we walked in. The car we were there to see was not on the lot but Steve drove us around the back area where we were able to find the car. All the sales figures and trade in value were well explained and we never felt any extra pressure to purchase our new wagon. Our financial person, Dutch, was well prepared and the whole process was quick and painless. We would recommend Tempe Honda and it's employee's to anyone looking to buy either a new or used car. Their personal follow up after the sale was very impressive as they are not a "forget you after you have bought the car" from them. Great experience, Great People and Gret dealer.

My fiance and I have been on the market for a reliable car for a while, and no matter where we went, the salespeople made me dread going to dealerships for this reason. Despite feeling a little worn out by it, we decided to give it another try by going to Tempe Honda. John S. was my salesman, and he did an excellent job. He is like a waiter that knows the right time to come up to the table and refill drinks- only in a car-selling context. He was very active in helping me find a car that was right for my family. He wasn't pushy in the slightest, was very friendly, informative, and easy to talk to. He helped me with the paperwork and stuck by until everything was cleared by. If you're looking to get a new or used car, but are afraid of being faced with pressuring salesperson, go with John S. That way buying a car will be a pleasant and exciting experience. I should know- I was bouncing with joy the entire time :)

I previously wrote a post that was very negative about Tempe Honda. I did not expect them to receive the post while I was there. I planned on leaving and returning back to San Tan Honda due to the poor service that I had received.However, SHANE HACKELTON the service manager received my post and wanted to talk about the service I received. At first I thought I was going to the principals office, but then I realized Shane actually cared about customer satisfaction. Wow CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, thats not something you hear about too often. Shane cared about not losing a customer to what I can assume is a competitor to Tempe Honda. I can say that I was extremely pleased with Shane; I have no doubt that he will educate his staff about this situation.. I will also being giving Tempe Honda another try.

We can't say enough about the wonderful integrity, reliability, concern and service of Tempe Honda. We bought a previously-owned 1996 Honda Civic from Tempe Honda. We love the carand we love Hondas in general. (In fact, our 2002 Honda CRV, which we bought new, now has nearly 400,000 miles!!) In addition to the positive experience we had in buying the vehicle with salesman Omar Minhas and the thorough followup and assistance of sales manager Randy Usery, wed like to express how grateful we are for Tempe Hondas general manager Brook Margraves and service manager Shane Hackelton, along with their entire service team. When we needed the car to be serviced, both men took the time to listen to our concerns. They were patient, genuinely concerned and very willing to help. It is obvious that they stand by their vehicles, and want their customers to be completely satisfied. Brook Margraves took time to listen and interact, then channeled us to Shane Hackelton, who followed up, patiently explaining details about the service. We truly felt that Brook, Shane and their service team went above and beyond in helping us with our car. Earlier, shortly after we bought our Civic, we had received a letter from Tempe Honda thanking us for trusting Tempe Honda with our automobile needs. In the letter, it said that their goal is to achieve 100 percent customer satisfaction. Well, we believe it! From buying the car to having it serviced and being able to interact with Brook and Shane, we are definitely 100 percent satisfied. We are so thankful to Tempe Honda for their staffs integrity, reliability, quality service and genuine caring for their customers.

Kenny has been my mechanic for years. I had a Honda Pilot and lacked knowledge with service etc. I immediately felt trust and a feeling of comfort every time I took my vehicle in to him. He explains everything, and is most patient. I rate him a 10+,and I hope Tempe Honda appreciates his work ethics. I own a Financial Company, and would luv to have such a wonderful person represent our company. Despite me buying my new Honda at SanTan, I will always make the longer drive over to Tempe Honda because of Kenny. 10+ all over for Kenny, and I do appreciate all of the service that he has provided on our Honda. Car Purchased: Accord Coupe EX-L V6 Automatic w/o NAV.Location: PhoenixBefore purchasing (leasing) my new Accord Coupe EX-L from Honda, I contacted 7 dealerships in the Phoenix area, and physically visited half of them. Tempe Honda was the only dealership that promised exactly what the had emailed me. They did not try play how-low-can-you-go with me. They were also the only dealership that printed me physical numbers showing their price, which also happened to be the lowest in the valley. I was almost shocked at their honesty and straightfowardness, especially after the games that other dealership played with me.This was my first vehicle purchase, and if I'm looking to purchase another Honda, I'll be sure to make this dealership a priority.

Mr. Richard Lim is the best car sales person I have ever met. His honest opinion gave us a lot help when we searched Honda Pilot. We have a lot of e-mail and telephone communication before we purchase the Pilot Ex-L touring. We are very happy with the new car and the purchase experience. I recently went into Tempe Honda looking for a used car and i was extremely excited because it was my first car. I started looking at a used 2010 Honda Accord and I immediately fell in love with it. Ron Tiley greeted us in a matter of 1-2 minutes and he was very happy and energetic and I felt like he was going to be very helpful. He asked me and my mother what exactly we were looking for and was very helpful with all of our questions. I drove the car and I just knew it was the one so we went in to sign the papers. My mother was tough on him but he kept a smile on his face and he didn't let her intimidate him. We finally agreed to all the terms and I had my car! Overall my experience was quick and easy and I would recommend Tempe Honda and Ron Tiley to anyone!

I did not trust them and they were rude. I received two different numbers when I asked two different sales people for their best out the door number on the car I wanted. I initially asked Mike via email and a different salesman at the dealership. When I confronted Mike about the discrepancy, rather than be polite and try to sell me a car with a better offer (or even his initial offer), he took his initial offer off the table, and stated I "rejected" his initial offer and started from scratch because I asked another salesperson for their best offer.It speaks volumes about a dealership when they give two different numbers to the same question and their response to being confronted is to blame the customer. On a side note, they should stop dispensing legal excuses for their poor customer service. (First, Mike never made a legally enforceable offer, so there was nothing for me to reject; second, even if he did make an enforceable offer, a buyer's negotiations with a different seller-representative wouldn't constitute rejection because a buyer is free to make multiple contracts with the same large volume seller; finally, even if a buyer asked the same seller-representative if a better price were possible, that wouldn't necessarily constitute a rejection because the buyer did not pose a new price or indicate an unwillingness to accept the prior offer).

John Spreine was the sales person that helped us make our recent purchase. We were not on the lot 5 minutes before he was outside in the 100+ weather, offering us cold water and being of assistance. He was attentive, respectful, and not pushy. More than willing to let us take the vehicle for a test drive. John was knowledgeable of the vehicle we were interested in. Had our 2007 Honda Accord serviced, as we have had for years. Shane Hackelton is extremely customer service oriented -- excellent face for the service department. We have bought 6 Honda Accords since 1982 or 83, and have bought them all from Mesa Honda, now SanTan Honda. Our buying experience with Jim Franchini was top notch, as well as our experience with your Finance Manager, Doug Baty...And so a new era with us begins. I plan to give our future business to this dealership and that is why we bought a 2012 Honda Accord today. We are very shocked at the level of disrespect and horrible customer service we received; especially since we are repeat customers. We have a credit challenge that we are working on disputing and Tempe Hondas internet staff did nothing but shuffle us from one person to the next. Their total lack of communication was incomprehensible and unacceptable. their response time is also pitiful. IF you have a credit issue, don't bother going there. Also, cars will not let us rate them zero. Oh, forgot to mention, Tempe Honda Corporate/Penske Automotive customer service is horrible and response factor lacking. guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

I have taken my Honda to Tempe Honda for service for over 10 years now, and the entire time, David Hudson has been my service advisor. I cannot imagine a better person to do business with nor a better representative for Honda to have on its team. This last time surpassed even his incredible standard, and I felt compelled to write a review--which I never write. I take my Honda 30 mins to Tempe Honda so I can continue to deal with David rather that taking it to Santan Honda, which is 3 mins from my house. I feel I need to buy another Honda just to keep working with David. He is top notch professional--Honda should double his pay.

On February 6,2012 I had to bring my accord back for service. I had spoken with David Hudson in the morning and told him that something was wrong with my car. He told me to bring it in. I took it to David in the evening and he alreay had a rental car voucher waiting for me. They needed to keep my car for a few days. Unfortunately, my transmission needed to be replaced.I was very happy that I had the rental car so I could still go to work. I love David!! He always knows how to take care of his customers. Honda of Tempe is very lucky to have David as an employee.

I bought a new Honda CR-V 2012 yesterday (January 21, 2012) and the whole experience was extremely pleasurable. The first thing I want to mention is the world class customer service my wife and I received from Daniel Ruiz. He is an absolute professional. We were treated by Daniel with respect, courtesy and he made us feel like if we were the most important customers in the dealership. Daniel always, and I mean always show undivided attention to us. He explained the whole buying process answering all of our questions not once, but sometimes even two or three times! The buying of a new car assisted by Daniel Ruiz at Tempe Honda has been one of the most enjoyable experiences for both my wife and I. I want to thank Steve and Daniel for their assistance. I came in looking to get a fresh start with a used vehicle. I had a bad experience with previous autos I had I just wanted a vehicle with affordable maintenance and would last awhile. Well I saw a Jeep Compass I really liked however I didn't realize at the time it was a Chrysler. I've had bad experiences with them. Anyways I returned the next morning to explain to Daniel who warmly greeted me in the parking lot and I explained my dilemma . He instantly made me feel at eased. The night before I had been restless. Steve wasn't in yet but I wanted to make sure he got his comission because he had been very helpful! Daniel said he would! So that also relieved me! My experience buying a used Honda at Tempe was simply the best car-buying experience of my life. I found the vehicle I wanted on the dealership's website and called the dealer. The salesman I spoke to could not have been more helpful. The dealer is a three-hour drive away, and I wanted to be sure that the car I wanted would still be available when I arrived. The salesman, Daniel Ruiz, arranged for me to make a no-risk deposit on the vehicle to assure its availability. He assured me that he had personally driven and inspected the used vehicle and that it was fairly represented on the website. We arranged an appointment for the next day. On my way to the dealership, I realized I would be an hour later than I expected and called Daniel to tell him. "No problem," he said. Although I arrived while he was helping another customer, I never felt like I was made to wait. After a brief but adequate test drive, my family and I met with the finance manager, completed the paperwork, and drove away two hours later, completely satisfied. I had kept an eye on my watch throughout the process. Having been through all this before, I had been dreading what I expected to be a 3-4 hour ordeal. It was nothing of the kind. Both the salesman and the finance manager were friendly and professional and represented the high standards of their employer. I would recommend this dealer without reservation.

Contacted them via internet about a new Odyssey. They stuck to their price, but of course took out the difference on the trade in. Do your research, check autotrader online for values on your trade, deduct some because they have to deal from there, figure about 4-5K profit for the dealer combined on the deals, and you should be pretty darn close to what it'll take out the door.Like all dealers, there is the upsell at paperwork time. If you plan on keeping the car, do the longest extended HONDACARE warranty you can (8yr/120K) as a minimum. It will vary car to car, but you should plan on about $2K. Other upsells are paint protection, interior protection, tire/rim protection, keyfob protection, lojack, and probably a few more I have forgotten already. Use your best judgement, and remember you can probably buy some of these after you leave the dealer, or some items may be covered by your car insurance anyway. Finally, don't buy any accessories unless you want the dealer to install them for you (you do get the full warranty applied to those parts then - so choose wisely). Things like wheel locks (must have) you can buy online for much less money.Final word on Tempe Honda - car buying is not fun. It's just not. They did make it less painless, and they were not your typical high pressure salesmen. In this day and age, don't put up with pushy car salesmen. Do your research, then go in to Tempe Honda and buy your car. I still have pushy salesmen calling from other dealers who I won't give the time of day due to their tactics.

After the approval we met with the Finance Manager who was more than friendly and helpful in getting us set up with financing. Regarding my overall experience with purchasing a used vehicle at Tempe Honda I would rate this as average. The vehicle I purchased only came with one keyless remote and no service records or maintenance manual. I had to purchase another remote from the Nissan Dealer. The air intake manifold was loose and the air filter dirty. The tires were low and the wiper blades were old. I was told Tempe Honda had the car for sixty days prior to my purchase. I asked for another remote to be provided and service records/maintenance manual for the vehicle but no one from Tempe Honda resolved these issues. I am taking the vehicle I purchased to another service center for further inspection/service but overall I was not satisfied with the experience at Tempe Honda. I am keeping the car I purchased though and am glad I have a extended warranty on the car.

I recently went in to have my air conditioner in my 2004 Odyssey not working. Of course the day I took it in it worked perfectly fine. The air was cold and blowing great. Next day I must have messed with it too much because it stopping blowing cold. In just a moment I decided kids and all to stop in while it wasn't working unannounced so he could listen or check something I was missing to explain. I was planning on bringing it back in at a better time...it was late and I had no appt. He asked if I had time and had them check it immediately. Found the issue and found the part. I was up and running with cold air in no time. David is ALWAYS so helpful!! He never makes you feel like an inconvenience. I know his day is busy but he will always find the time for me or you! He is the best!!

The "old School" techniques that the dealer used to low ball my trade and wear me down MADE me drive 25 minutes to TEMPE HONDA-First, I connected through the internet with Daniel Ruiz. My wife drove our 2009 Honda Pilot Touring at 9:45 on Friday 26 April 2011. She was greeted by VICTOR, a service advisor. He listened while my wife explained that there was a high pitched noise from the engine compartment when turning the steering wheel while driving down the road. Victor was courteous, helpful, and very knowledgeable about our vehicle. He gave us his phone number and took our information. He said he would call and give us an update in about three hours. He did call and told us that the mechanic had identified the faulty component as a side seal in the power steering rack assembly. There was not one in stock at Tempe Honda but they had found one at another dealer and would obtain the assembly on Friday ----install same, road test and we could pick up our vehicle on Saturday.I feel that Victor stayed on top of the situation and kept us informed with several phone calls regarding the progress of the repairs. Victor is a real asset to your organization in my opinion.We were also impressed with ABDUL, a sales person, when we bought our Pilot in 2009 that we returned in 2011 and got us a Tango Red CRV. We are now a 2 car Honda familyand doing good for a couple of 70's seniors

Dan Wickham of Tempe Honda called me to tell me about incentives. He said he thought he could get me into a new Honda Accord (I had a 2008) for the same payment or less then what I was already paying. I was skeptical but my husband and I decided to go up on 6/26. Dan got me into a 2011 Honda Accord with 7,400 miles for $10.00 over my current payment, no money down, and a great warranty. It was a bonus that the car was my favorite car color: charcoal gray. I definitely recommend the dealership and specifically Dan Wickham.

Tempe Honda is AWESOME! At my latest visit they took care of a service issue that I had with a dealership that was farther away from my home. (My vehicle broke down out of town and my extended warranty towed me to the closest Honda dealership.) Tempe Honda agreed to make right an issue I had with the other dealership so that I would not have to drive quite a distance to the next town! They even detailed the interior of my mini van! This was something that should have been done for me BUT from the other dealership (not Tempe Honda) and they took care of it for me. This dealership knows how to treat people. I will definitely keep going back to Tempe Honda!

Ed is the agent all agents should aspire to become. He has called us every year on my birthday and my wife's. Armando Perez is very knowledgeable and he has been assisting me every time I bring my car into the Honda dealership. I recently had my civic hybrid serviced. I have had all my service done at Tempe Honda and I have been very pleased. This time I dealt with Michelle Bobersky and I really feel she went over and above even the great treatment I usualy get. I was a little confused about exactly what service I needed and had a few questions about the motor assist battery and tires. She looked up my past records, told me exactly what I needed done and went out of her way to get all my questions answered. I've been going to Tempe Honda for service since purchasing my '07 Honda new. The service has always been outstanding. Mr. Armando Perez has been my "go to" Service Advisor for the last 2 - 3 years. He is always friendly, honest and the consummate professional... ...and I know enough about car internals and what it takes to maintain them to know the difference: my Dad was a superlative auto mechanic who taught me well.

looking to buy a new car. called around to see what prices were. talked to Sara at Tempe Honda on the phone and she quoted me an out the door price. I also called Bell Honda and asked what their price was. Frank at Bell Honda said "oh yeah we can work with that number come on in and lets talk, I will even give you a free $25 gas card." because Bell is closer I decided to stop there first. BIG mistake. we took the car for a test drive and everything was great up until it came time to talk about price. on the phone Frank had quoted me a price when I was sitting down waiting for him to crunch the number he came back with a price $1,500 over what he had promised. I told him i wouldn't go one penny over the price he quoted me. he then went back to the manager and came back with a number $400 over what he originally quoted me. I told him no thanks and walked out. To this day I still haven't gotten the gas card Frank promised. After I left I called Tempe Honda and told Sara about my horrible experience I just had. She told me that she would keep her promise and to come on over. I made the long drive and I arrived at Tempe and was immediately helped by Sara and Brooke. What do you know Good and Honest people still exist, Amazing. I did not pay 1 penny over what she quoted me over the phone. What a pleasant experience when people keep to their word. Thanks for everything Sara and Brooke! If I were YOU I would stick with the folks that do Honest business. P.S. I was contacted by someone at Bell Honda later that week and they asked me why they lost my business. I said one word. Honesty. He said he would talk to Frank. He also said he would have them send out that $25 gift card that was promised for my time..its been almost a month and still no gift card to be seen.

I purchased a vehicle from Kenny Melville. He was very good to work with, answered all my questions and got me into the car I wanted. Everyone that I worked with, even in the finance departmert were very friendly and proficient. I plan on going back when I need another vehicle.

Ken always takes the time to truly listen to me and then comes up with our game plan. He always asks about my family and how we're doing. He cares and it shows. Because of Kens competency, attention to detail & easy going manner, we now bring our non Honda car to Tempe Honda for service too. Ken has earned my complete trust & life-long business! As I was signing up for shuttle service this morning, Tom Jetter, came up and greeted me with a big smile and a sincere good morning! Before I could reply, Tom said I remember you; you went on vacation with all your girlfriends a few months ago. To which I replied, I sure did! When I think of the number of people that Tom must talk to in a week, then multiply that times the number of weeks its been since Ive been at Tempe Honda, it blows my mind that he remembered my face, let alone details of our last conversation. Amazing! What a great characteristic of quality customer service.These two gentlemen are just two of the reasons that Tempe Honda is a 10 in my book.

Went to Tempe Honda to buy a 06 Honda Civic (#18097A). As a first time buyer I was a little hesitant as to what car I wanted and how I was going to finance my car. Nacho was very friendly and patient with me in deciding what type of car was ideal for me and my needs. He was well informed on the car and because he was able to speak Spanish he was able to communicate with my dad and answer any questions that my dad had. I was very happy with the service he provided and received. I am very happy with my buy. Love my car.

I love working with Dave because he is always very honest with me. I have had bad experiences with Toyota service departments that jacked up minor work that needed to be done into major expenses. I never have to worry about Dave or the technicians doing that to me.

My husband and I had a great experience working with Steve on the sales end last weekend. He was very kind, attentive and personable. He was very honest with us and offered great suggestions to help us financially. Of course, his ultimate goal is to make a sale as this is what he is paid to do, but he did not pressure us at all and gave us plenty of time to talk in private as we wanted to ensure we made the right decision for us. He seemed perfectly content to stay late, even after the place had closed for the night. We returned first thing the next morning to purchase our Ford Escape Hybrid, and he was ready and waiting to help us, answer our last few questions, and ensure our vehicle was detailed and ready for us as soon as we were done in the finance office. Doug Baty was great in helping us with the paperwork, very nice and friendly. He showed us some options for an extended service plan but did not push anything on us at all. Paperwork can be tedious, but Doug made the process painless. I was dreading car shopping as I typically don't enjoy talking to sales people, but after this experience I actually look forward to shopping for our next car (although maybe not for 2-3 years) especially if Steve and Doug are still at Tempe Honda!

KUDOS to Ken Smith...Such a polite, enthusiastic, helpful service consultant...I drive up from CasaGrande just to get my service done at Tempe Honda because I do not feel like a "take a number, and take a seat" from him...He is on the job and a real team player...I am from the older generation and appreciate him because he is worthy of respect from me..I only wish we could clone him and scatter him thru-out the banking and business community...what a wonderful problem free world that would be...someone that works for you and cares about the outcome!! Maybe he should run for President of the U.S.

We have been clients of Tempe Honda since 2003 when I purchase my first Honda Element. We purchased a second Element for my wife in 2004, and recently traded in my 2003 for a 2011 Element. We have always received great service and a more than fair deal from Abdul in the sales department and it's a pleasure not having to worry about being pushed or deceived in any way. David Hudson in service is the reason we will only bring our cars to Tempe Honda for any issue. We know that he will take great car of us and never try and "sell" us on things that are not necessary. We trust him implicitly.

Our car buying experiencing at Tempe Honda was the best I have ever had. We Love our used Odyssey we purchased. Ed was so friendly and helpful from beginning to end. We came by to test drive the Odyssey late in the evening, shorty before closing. I had spoken with Ed ahead of time and he was waiting for us when we arrived. The vehicle was everything it was advertised to be and more, and Ed was so nice and helpful (did not pressure us at all) so we knew right away we would be back the next day to purchase. Ed stayed 4 or 5 hours later than he should have been there to complete the sale. Car buying is always a lenghty process and to make matters more interesting we had our 1, 2 and 3 year olds with us. Of course the kids got restless, crabby and hungry. Every person at Tempe Honda was extremely friendly to us all, especially Ed of course. He brought out pizza for the kids (including water and napkins), sat and talked with them while we signed paperwork, and when it was time to go my daughter only wanted Ed to help her with her shoes (not mommy)HA!. After all was complete Ed walked us all out, gave us a final overview of our van. As we were about to leave my oldest son told him he was his new friend and that he was going to miss him because he is so nice. My son still mentions his nice friend at the dealership! LOL. We would recommend Tempe Honda to any and everyone, for it's friendly staff, extremely fair pricing, and quality inventory. By the way, even the financing process was painless and pleasant (which is rare). Vince was awesome and didn't try to pressure us into a bunch of add ons. Thanks to everyone there, Tempe Honda will be the first place we head the next time we are ready to purchase a vehicle and I sure hope Ed is still there!

I spoke to Steve on the phone this morning and he was nothing but nice. He helped me begin my finance paperwork, since that was my main concern. I stopped by the dealership after work and Steve was very polite and thorough. He stayed after is intended shift to be sure that I was taken care of. He explained everything to me and didn't appear to be hiding anything or pressuring me to buy. I felt as though he was treating me as though I was part of his family, due to his genuine care and respect. The other gentleman that I dealt with were also very friendly and made me feel valued as a customer. My family has had an extremely positive experience working with David Hudson. In fact, I never want to work with anyone else concernig my Hondas. David is part of the reason I purchased 2 Hondas after my first one; his stellar customer service and interpersonal skills cannot be matched anywhere in Arizona! David has been friendly, caring and very professional to our family at all times. He has extensive knowledge about Honda automobiles. My son Joey, my husband Tim and I each own a Honda Accord that we have brought in for service regularly over the past 10 years. David has consistently advised us about what service is needed and we trust him implicitly. We go forward with whatever service he recommends without hesitation or worry. My husband had a stroke in 2008 and has been out of work. Since that time, David has taken a personal interest in our family's welfare. He informs me about service checkpoints that my husband used to take care of. If I have questions, David explains service issues to me in detail. He has done so much for me personally; he has had keys made for me, suggested sunscreens, fixed audio and alarm devices and even put a new cover on my steering wheel himself! On one occasion in the summer of 2008, my 2006 Honda Accord broke down in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was a very hot July afternoon, about 110 degrees. Tim had just had a stroke and we were on the way to the Mayo Clinic Hospital to see his doctor. I called David Hudson when the car "blew up"; I was hysterical because Tim was not supposed to be standing around in the heat. David told me to describe the problem and when I did, he suggested that I call AAA to have the car towed to Tempe Honda. The tow truck driver tried to talk me into going to another Honda dealership in Scottsdale that was nearby, but I refused, simply because David Hudson would not be there! When we arrived at Tempe Honda, David had a rental car ready for us so I could get Tim home and out of the heat. My car was fixed by the next morning.Please acknowledge, applaud and reward David Hudson for his expertise with Honda automobiles, his exemplary customer service and his true concern for everyone he comes in contact with. The service received from Ken Smith of Tempe Honda was outstanding. I needed a new transmission for my 2003 Civic and Ken was able to get it for in a reasonable time and reasonable price. Ken was up front on everything it would take and the price, so there was not any surprises when I picked the car up today. Ken Smith is very professional and keeps me up to date as the timing of the repair.

Ken Smith at Tempe Honda put me and my Honda back on the road again after a local oil change shop incorrectly replaced the oil plug. The discussions and negotiations between myself and the offending oil change shop were harrowing, but Ken Smith, who had happily provided his professional input to me and the appraiser sent by my insurance company was wonderful and understanding. Not only was he happy to explain and answer my questions when he could, but ultimately supervised the repair of the damage and returned my car to me. Thank you, Ken, for all that you've done.

We had a wonderful experience at Tempe Honda. After working with other Honda dealerships in the area, we turned to Tempe Honda because we had heard great things about them. We were not disappointed. Nacho (our salesmen) was very helpful and dedicated to making sure that we were satisfied. We also met the manager and she was extremely friendly and not at all intimidating. The finance guy was extremely nice as well and made sure that we had all of our questions answered. I have worked with 5 other dealerships previously and Tempe Honda was by far my favorite. It was a wonderful experience!

I have have worked with David Hudson in the Tempe Honda service department for approximately 5 years. He is the primary reason for my loyalty to Tempe Honda. He is always pleasant and is more like a friend than just a "service guy." In between owning Hondas, I strayed and bought a "luxury vehicle." My experiences in their service department always had me wishing I was back at Honda.....so I sold that vehicle and bought my Crosstour at Tempe Honda. I'm happy to be back!!!Along with that "luxury vehicle," I also had a problem with receiving my warranty refund from the "luxury dealership" after trading the vehicle in to Honda to purchase my Crosstour. Tempe Honda's finance department went above and beyond to help me recover my warranty refund from the "luxury dealership." In my opinion, Tempe Honda's employees are much more personable and show more professionalism, integrity, refinement and luxury than any other dealership!

We internet-shopped 6-8 Honda dealers in the greater Phoenix area for both price and responsiveness. We also checked dealerrater.com and found in advance that Tempe Honda was tops. They had the winning combination of best price and customer response by e-mail, usually within an hour or two. One of its competitors was $3K more for the same unit and another of its competitors was obviously low-balling us and seemed sleazy; the dealerrater review for that competitor revealed the same thing we had been inferring. We put down $500 deposit for the vehicle we chose without visiting the dealership [we live 135 miles away in Flagstaff].We met Jim & Danny for the first time when we arrived to complete the buy. The process was pleasant, professional and totally transparent. No rush, no pressure, just constant gentle checking to see where we were in our buying decision. Once we had confirmed our decision to buy Danny spent the better part of two hours with us going through all of the options on the Odyssey Touring Elite, including a long tutorial on using the Nav system and setting up our Bluetooth-enabled phones for us. He also set up "Home" on the Nav system and set all of the myriad options to suit our needs. Jim checked in and out with us through the process.We then worked with Rich Schierling on the finance stuff, and again no pressure and lots of explanation of the options with questions answered straightforwardly and honestly. We completed the sale and drove away about five hours after entering the dealership, feeling like we had enjoyed the entire experience and were well-informed at every step of the way. This is the way car buying should be!

Armando Perez has been my Service Advisor for the 4 years I have owned my Honda; he has always been courteous, friendly and very accommodating. I brought my car in to have the power steering fixed which was not only done expeditiously but correctly. Armando also went out of his way to have a cosmetic part replaced for my vehicle. The part was not in inventory so he had to get it from another dealership. All this was done by lunch time. Thank you Armando!!!!

I talked to Daniel about the hybrid vehicle and he explained in detail the technology that Honda has used. I explained that I was interested in an 2008 Civic Hybrid that was on their Internet page, well before we knew it it was 9 pm.The next day he followed up with myself and made arrangments for a test drive.The process went with out a hitch and drove home with a great vehicle at a great price, Daniel took great Cardin every aspect and we thank him.He is now in the process of finding another Civic for us. We are truly satisfied.

Ken is the only reason we drive from East Mesa to Tempe to use their service department. He is our go to guy. Whether it's for a oil change or a new A/C compressor, he values our business the same. Our second car is a Toyota, and we bring that car for service to this dealership as well, solely because of Ken's helpfulness, friendliness and professionalism.

I used to take my car to Automotive Companies, but not anymore! For about 2 years now I have been taking my Honda Civic to Tempe Honda. They have the greatest Customer Service and Armando Perez is the best! He is professional,courteous and he is very knowledgable in the Automotive Industry. I work near Tempe Honda so it is very convenient and I am able to use their Shuttle Service. They are always prompt and courteous and when you call to have them pick you up at your work, they are always on time. I live near Bell Honda,and one time I called early on a Saturday Morning to see if I could take my car in, but I was told that it may sit there all day & they may not be able to even get to it! So with that said,I will drive that 25 miles just to go to Tempe Honda!

I still had some other dealerships to go to and didn't buy that day. However, the next day I had decided that the Camry was the used car for me. I called Ken and even though it was his day off, he came in and helped me get the car I wanted.

We have been a Honda customer for many years and we have had several Accords. David has been our main person servicing our family. We even take our Toyota truck at Honda for service because the service is great at Tempe Honda. It is the main reason why we continue to purchase Hondas and go to Tempe Honda for servicing. David goes out of his way to assist us, he explains what is needed and provides us the best price possible. I have gone into Honda without notice at all on several occassions and David is always there to assist.

Before visiting Tempe Honda, we visited another dealership (Right Honda). We were SHOCKED by how rude and borderline abusive the sales manager was, as well as the fact that despite our request to work with someone else, we were given no other option. After leaving that dealership, we were very hesitant to even bother going anywhere else. We were extremely pleased by Ed's willingness to work with us over the phone initially (given that we lived on the other side of the city) and were reminded once we arrived at the dealership in person why we had bought our previous car from the same dealership.While buying a car is often a contentious interaction, Ed was more than pleasant, and we didn't feel as though the dealership was trying to take advantage of us.We will definitely look to do business again with Tempe Honda in the future.

Ken Smith at Tempe Honda is an excellent customer service representative. I always schedule ahead to make sure Ken will be there before I bring my car in for service; he is like the big brother I never had. I have trusted Ken and Tempe Honda for several years with both my '04 Civic Hybrid and my '95 del Sol; total mileage of the two vehicles together well exceeds 365,000 miles and both are still running like a charm. I even pass by three other Valley Honda dealerships just to make sure I get the excellent quality service I have consistently received at Tempe Honda. Every visit to Tempe Honda reinforces how much they care about their customers and the vehicles they service. Thank you Ken and Tempe Honda for doing such a great job!

Dan showed me two cars that I was interested in purchasing. When neither of them would work out, he showed me a third car that did work for my situation. He was always friendly and cheerful, even though I was taking a lot of his time. At the end, he even stopped me as I was leaving, just to point out where the gas cover release was at under the dash. Very nice guy!Paul tried several ways to get me into the car I wanted and when the banks wouldn't approve that car, he searches until he found a vehicle that met my requirements while meeting the banks requirements. In years past, I've dealt with dealers that, if you couldn't get financed for the car you wanted, they would push you into something that was totally not what you wanted. I never once felt that way with Paul. He was definitely looking out for my wants and needs.Overall, this was by far the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. I highly recommend Tempe Honda, Dan and Paul!!

I brought my car in because I was hearing a clunking noise after having gone camping this past weekend and having to do some off-roading in my Civic. Armando Was great in keeping me up to date on what was going on with my car at all times. He even was able to get me a rental for the day while the repairs were being made. He was professional, friendly and honest with me the entire time. I couldn't have gotten better service.

I have been going to Tempe Honda for 4 years now for service ever since I purchased my CRV. My purchase was a very pleasant experience and my service appointments are always very pleasant. My last service visit was even more so in dealing with Colby Lingenfelter. He set up the date and time that I needed on a fairly short notice and sent an email reminder to me which I thought was very nice. He is very knowledgeable when discussing services that are needed. He also recommended the shuttle service, which I had never used before. My vehicle was ready before the proposed time, I received a discount on the services and Colby thoroughly explained what was serviced, what was checked & was all good and what to be mindful of on next visit. I have always had great customer service at Tempe Honda, but I felt Colby went above and beyond this visit and I was amazed by his level of customer service. He also personally went back and got my car and delivered it to me. When dealing with Colby, it feels like he really cares about you and your vehicle and it is more like talking with a friend than a service rep. I rate him 5 stars and A+++! And I will always own a Honda. :)

I have been taking my car to Tempe Honda for many years now. I have a 14 year old Accord and, even though it is old, the dealership does not try to sell me a new car when I am having my car serviced. They also do not tell me I need repairs that are unnessecary. David Hudson, in the service department, has been great. He is easy to work with, offers me a free rental car if the repair will take awhile and often gives me discounts for service. I will continue to take my car to Tempe Honda and recommend it to others.

Armondo was my Serice Representative and he was very professional, helpful and courteious. It was right on top of everything knowing I had an extended warranty and proceded from there in providing a rental and keeping me updated on the progres being made on my electrical problem. It was a pleasure working with him. My car upon completion was cleaner than when I brought it in. Someone did a great job washing the exterior and cleaning the interior and windows. I had a good experience with Tempe Honda. Kenny was a great salesman and really availed himself to me as the client to find a car that was right for my situation and close to my budget. I really appreciated his friendly and professional demeanor. He, as well as other staff, even stayed well past their typical work hours to make sure I was able to complete all of the paperwork and leave with the car that very evening. It was a good experience when learning how to buy a car (this was my first experience that was not private party) and the staff at Tempe Honda made sure I was well taken care of.

Efrain is very friendly, never pushy and the best thing is that he has a very positive and friendly attitude. I went to the other Honda dealership in the valley and many of them had the attitude about them which was a total turn off. Efrain was not only friendly but was very accommodating to my needs in terms of car features, color and price. Highly recommended.....if you go to Tempe Honda, ask for Efrain!!!

This is my 3rd Honda through Tempe Honda and the main reason that I keep coming back is the incredible service that I am given by David Hudson. No matter what my issues are with the car, he makes sure that I am taken care of. He is always extremely friendly, courteous and quick to respond. Because of that level of service, I have sent my mother and my sister to Honda, where they both purchased vehicles as well. Everytime my lease comes due, I think about changing cars (just for a change) - but I really like the Honda and the service I get from David, so I will keep coming back.

Tempe Honda continues to surprise me, even the day after the sale. Vince, who I worked with to finance my Civic Hybrid, called me the day after the sale. He informed me that he was able to get me a better rate and asked if I would like to come back to the dealership to lower my monthly payment! During the initial financing, Vince took his time to clearly explain all of my options. He answered all of my questions and I was impressed with his knowledge, patientence and ethics. So, it was no surprise that when I left the dealership, Vince continued to work hard to get me a better deal. It is refreshing in this day and age to work with someone like Vince who places a high value on customer service and satisfaction, even after the sale. The catch was they had to be in and out in a timely manner, a very quick timely manner. Armando and Efrain made this happen! I believe this dealership does excellent work. I had an extensive amount of work done the other day. The car was ready exactly when they said it would be finished. I am very impressed by the quality of the personnel, particularly Armando Perez, service advisor. He is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and follows up with me immediately about any issues I may have. I appreciate the fact that when issues come up with the car, I am immediately contacted. The car service experience is often dreaded; people can feel like they are being bilked out of money, there is a sense of helplessness and a sleazy under tone. NONE of this was present at the Tempe Honda with Robert. Right from the get-go Robert was friendly, listened to what I had to say, was professional in his assessments, and stayed true to his word. He was outstanding at communicating with me throughout the process and his genial nature and automotive acumen shone through. I would highly recommend both Tempe Honda and Robert for anyone needing service.

As a family, we have 4 Honda cars and Ken has been our service adviser for many years. He is always friendly, courteous and is knowledgeable regarding our car service needs. We have 1 daughter that moved out of state, but we always get the major service done here at Tempe Honda when she visits. Her out-of-state service does not compare to what we can get here. Ken is an awesome adviser and I would recommend him to anyone needing one.

Robert Leiler greeted me at the Service Entrance. He quickly wrote up my car for it's 15,000 mile service and offered to have me transported to a nearby shopping area to be picked up later. I declined his offer and waited at the dealership. He (Robert) came into the waiting area when my car was finished (very quickly!) and escorted me to the cashier and outside to my car.I believe that, in addition to a free car wash and interior cleaning, the other work was done quickly and efficiently. The current visit was to diagnose and repair a dragging splash shield under the engine.It turned out it was just a case of a some clips that had come loose. Tempe Honda not only replaced the clips but did their standard 19 point inspection and checked and adjusted tire pressure as necessary. They not only fixed the problem, they did it at no charge.I purchased the car from Tempe Honda in 2007 and have had it serviced there ever since its purchase. I have never been pressured into unnecessary service nor been charged what I felt was an unreasonable price. On this visit, Colby was every thing you would want in a service rep.

My husband and I have three hondas at this time. One 2000 Honda civic for my daughter, my 2003 honda civic hybrid (had 168,000 miles when traded in for my new 2011 Honda Insight) My husbands 1991 honda Accord station wagon (currently has 268,000 miles and still runs like a brand new honda.) We have been dealing with Tempe Honda for seven years, and Mr. David Huson has been our service representative this entire time. We have never had any service problem that Mr Hudson and his service team were not gladly able to correct to our complete satisfaction. I attribute the long durability of all our vehicles, to the experience and advice Mr. Hudson has always given us on how to properly service and maintain our vehicles. Moreover our recent decision to trade our 2003 Honda Civic hybrid in March for a new Honda Insight was basically made due to our experience and relationship with Mr. Hudson.

Ken Smith is an amazing employee at Tempe Honda. I have taken my car in several times for maintenance and I won't got anywhere else because Ken is so great! Unlike other car maintenance companies I feel like Honda really wants to help you with your problem and they aren't just trying to nickle and dime you for every little thing they can find on your car. They generally care about your safety and educating you on your car. I have recommended to many of my friends that they bring their car into Tempe Honda and ask for Ken.My husband and I are thinking of buying a new Honda because we love the quality of our current car and the excellent service that we get every time we bring our car into Ken. I recently brought my Honda CR-V to Tempe Honda for repair work. While my insurance company proved extremely difficult to work with, Armando from Tempe Honda was just the opposite. He went out of his way to be helpful and assist in any way he could. Once the insurance company gave the okay the repairs were quickly executed and my car was as good as new. Though we live within 15 miles of 2 Honda stores, we chose to go to Tempe Honda. There was no rhyme or reason for the choice just, decided to give it a shot. Having purchased many cars over the last 25 or so years, we must say that our experience with Ed Kellner was the best. Never have we ever met a car salesperson that did not pressure us to make a sale. Ed was just the opposite, he was so easy to work with. He understood the product and took time to explain every detail of each vehicle we looked at. Once we made a decision, he took the time to really explain all aspects of the vehicle and the process. While waiting for the completion of the paperwork, Ed took us out to the car and gave us a class on every aspect of the car. We have never been through a car purchase where the sales person literally made us feel completely at ease. We will definately return and work with Ed on any future purchases. We will also recommend Ed to all our family and associates. Ed Kellner should give customer service classes to all of your new associates. In fact, the entire auto sales profession should have sales people like Ed Kellner. Word of mouth can be your best advertisment, it can also be your worst. Thanks to Ed Kellner, all of the word of mouth advertising from us will sing the praises of Tempe Honda and Ed Kellner.

I came into the dealership one rainy Saturday afternoon because the cable leading to the gas lid door broke and I couldn't open it to add gas in the car. David Hudson was working that day, and very happily opened the trunk and fixed the issue. David has always been very courteous and professional, along with very knowledgeable. I had the battery replaced and he had them double check the car to make sure that nothing else was wrong. He is very considerate and helpful. He is also the service advisor for my mother. Dave Hudson has always been the best as far as customer service. This occasion was no exception. I had almost $1,000 in service repairs that Dave was able to reduce to under $400.00 by checking to see if they were covered by warranty. I just recently purchased my second car from Tempe Honda Used Cars, a 2005 Mini Cooper S. Kenny Melville was my sales person for the Mini as well as another car purchased there. This is our 18th car in 14 years. Only 3 have been purchased used and this was our first trip to Tempe Honda.My 17 year old son and I were shopping for a used car for my daughter.Once we parked and exited our vehicle, we were greeted by Kenny Melville. I explained to him the "stipulations" that our kids have as far as price and type of vehicle that they are allowed to get. Once informed, Kenny took us around the lot and showed us our options. We had settled on two cars (prelude and accord). With their service department finding problems with the prelude, we went with the accord.Kenny made sure that we were taken care of every step of the way. Once everything was said and done, we were off to show my daughter her "new car". No matter what when I contact David about service or even if I show up unannounced he treats me and my car like we are the only things on his calendar - he is attentive, professional and knowledgeable. Most importantly he explains the repair in a way that a non-mechanic can understand and feel completely confident in. When I am ready to buy another vehicle it will be a Honda because I know I can count on David and the excellent Tempe Honda team.

I provided Tempe Honda with all "5's" because every employee was genuinely friendly and treated my husband and I with respect. It was a hot Saturday afternoon and Nacho Morfin not only showed and allowed me to drive every car I wanted to see but did it with a smile on his face and kept us hydrated with numerous water bottles! We would stand under a tree in the shade while he would run to get another set of keys for me to drive each car I liked. He was never once pushy and always had a smile on his face. I honestly felt I was a valued client BEFORE I even bought the car! There was no haggling or sales pitch or pressure. Straight, honest and fair business dealings! He is always knowledgeable and is very quick to answer any questions regarding my vehicle. Robert is very good about following up and making sure that my needs were met. Jackie Clark was very nice and respectful when I was at the cashiers desk to pay for my service. She answered a few questions I had regarding the paperwork that was given to me and seemed very attentive to the situation. I will stay loyal to Tempe Honda because of their great service and great attitudes!

I appreciate his honesty and integrity. Tempe Honda may be the closest dealership, but if David moved to another one, I would be happy to drive a little further just to have him work with my car.

Needed an oil change as well as two recalls on my 2007 Honda Fit (light switch and power locks). I went in without an appointment and had very good, fast service. I was out in 1.5 hours. I was also recommended to get new tires, a major service and a fuel system cleaning but there was no pressure. I was given a card and told to make an appointment when I had time and the money for the needed servicing as I am currently unemployed.

I've needed repairs on my Honda Odyssey twice in the past couple of months. The first experience with David Hudson was so good that I didn't hesitate to call him when I needed to take the van in again. Each time David was friendly, respectful, understanding, and patient. He knew that I wasn't too happy about having to take the van back for additional repairs (that he told me it needed the first time, but I declined), so he found a coupon to help reduce the cost in the end. Although I hope that I don't have to go back for repairs again any time soon, if I do, I will definitely go back to Tempe Honda and always ask for David Hudson.

Armando, is without a doubt the most honest service manager I have ever dealt with. He is knowledgeable and when I ask him if a "recommended by the book" service is really needed he has always given me truthful answers. As a result I have been able to save money when needed and wait for needed service until it was REALLY needed.

I believe we have reached a point where we are a Honda family. We currently have four Hondas sitting in our driveway. The lateest is our ninth Honda. All of the employees go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's bit of a drive for us to get there and we pass several other dealerships to get there. They have certainly made it worth the drive.The service advisor I use ( SHANE HACKELTON ) is by far the best I've ever come across. I leased a new Civic last year for my daughter and dealt with Daniel Ruiz. He was awesome and is an outstanding young man. When it came time for a new Honda again (this is our sixth Honda by the way) I contacted Daniel naturally and he took care of us again. No pressure, straight up and it was done. Great experience at a car dealer! I received pricing by email from Jim Franchini, got a pretty good price - better than Edmunds and KBB indicated we could expect. After getting the old school four corner sheet, the "I gotta get my boss' approval" and the "we just sold the car we quoted you" at Santan Honda earlier in the monthy this was sure a refreshing approach at Tempe Honda. Jim held to his email offer, expedited the transaction, got Rich Schierling to quickly work the paperwork and we were driving our new Odyssey home in 90 minutes. No pressure, no hype. After having several unsatisfactory dealings with a Honda dealership near my home, I sought out Tempe Honda and experienced service unlike any that I have encountered at other dealerships. I bought not one, but two new cars within a 2 month period from Tempe Honda, and the process both times was smooth and easy. The first time my car needed major service, I luckily ended up with David Hudson as a Service Advisor. WOW. David has cornered the market on providing 'above and beyond' customer service, and I have no intention of taking my vehicles anywhere but Tempe Honda for repairs and maintenance. David is thorough, honest and attentive. Each time I have taken my car in for service, I have watched him give every customer the same level of interested and concerned attention. Every employee I have encountered at this location is friendly and accommodating. Best experience at a car dealer ever! That about sums it up, but to add some detail, I worked out the parameters of a deal over the phone with Jim Franchini, got very close to the out the door price I was hoping to reach (within $500, which was much better than Bell Honda, Arrowhead Honda, Superstition Springs Honda, and Right Honda), drove over to Tempe Honda and was in and out the door in 90 minutes, driving away in my brand new 2012 Honda Civic EX. No high pressure sales pitch for a nicer/more expensive car, or extended warranty, or any other of the typical add-ons you get from dealers. Just delivered exactly what they said they would and got me on my way. Thanks Jim and also Richard Schierling in Finance. I'll say it again - best experience at a car dealer ever!!! And I know what I'm talking about, having bought/traded 12 vehicles over the last 15 years.

I purchased my Honda Odyssey in 2005 from Tempe Honda and was won over by their customer service, their willingness to make me feel comfortable, and the fact that they went the extra mile for me in finding a vehicle to fit my needs. Since that time, a new dealership has been built closer to my home. It would make more sense for me to take my van into the dealership that is just a few miles down the road, but while the sales staff at Tempe Honda pulled me in initially.....my representative, David Hudson, is the person responsible for the fact that I will continue to have all of my vehicle repairs and maintenance work done at this location. He has always been knowledgeable, courteous, & professional, and I trust that he and Tempe Honda treat me fairly and honestly. I would highly recommend both this dealership and David Hudson as a service representative to any of my friends and family.

I've been servicing my Hondas at Tempe Honda for 15+ years. The service I receive is always friendly, quick, complete and fair. Yesterday I took my 2008 CR-V in for service because my window made a "boom" noise when it went down. I was working with David Hudson. He told me that the regulator was broken, and that the cost to repair it (with labor) would be $450 because I didn't have an extended warranty. When I grimaced, he said, "Wait here just a minute." He called American Honda and got the approval for a 99% warranty repair, because "I was such a good customer of Tempe Honda." The repair ended up costing me $2.94 and I was out the door in 2 hours flat. With a car wash! Great service at MORE than a fair price. I recommend Tempe Honda to all Honda owners out there.

My last car was a Honda. Great car... bought in Washington. Moved to Phoenix and took it to Tempe Honda for service work. Shane was excellent and sold me on Tempe Honda. They are always willing to go the extra mile...very helpful. I bought a new car today and Ed was GREAT as were Doug, Mike and the others I worked with. The old car was 14 years old and still going strong. If this new car ever wears out I would diffently go back.

I was leasing a 2010 Honda Accord, my third lease car from this dealership. Due to losing my job through budget cuts, I took another position that was twice the distance to drive causing high mileage on the vehicle. I spoke with the sales manager, Sara Homes, concerned that I was at 30,000 miles and the car was only 1.5 years old. Sara and Constatin Margaritis, and the finance people, Doug, worked with me to find an alternative to solution to turning in a vehicle that would be at 60,000 instead of 36,000 when the lease was up. They were kind, concerned, understanding and involved. They really cared about helping me out of a bad situation. They found me a 2011 FIT on a purchase at payments I can afford. Another sales manager, Michelle, also assisted me and Rich Schierling did all my finance paperwork. Everyone was wonderful. You have a customer for life! Thank you to all. Outstanding customer care!

I ended up being on an accelerated schedule to complete the deal in time for an afternoon appointment - Danny and Rich Schierling in Finance got me through the process and out the door in time to meet my prior committment. My wife and I wanted to buy a Honda Pilot Touring 4WD. We met sales consultant Brooke Hopkins and we did a test drive with him. He is very friendly and did not preassurize us like consultants in other dealerships. He is knowledgeable and very informative too. Brook teamed up with Sara Holmes who is sales manager and gave us a reasonable price as well.I wanted a Black color exterior but they did not have it. Brook and Sara found a Black Pilot touring in other dealership and promised to give it to me for the same price we agreed. THEY MADE IT HAPPEN !!!!Sara and Brook, YOU ARE AWSOME !!!!

They worked around my schedule and without complaint stayed past normal business hours to ensure all needs were met. I was unable to completely go over the vehicle at the time of purchase and was offered flexible options to come in at my convenience to have all my questions concerning the vehicle operating features explained to me. Customer service was great from the moment we walked in. Tracy Estes was the sales agent who dealt with us and he was very helpful, informative and pleasant throughout the process. We initially took a look at the cars we were interested in and went back home to discuss our options. Tracy and the manager in charge were not pushy at all and let us take our time in making our decision. We went back after visiting other dealers and spoke prices. As expected their initial quote was much higher than what we had in mind. But with Tracy's and the manager's help, we were able to come to a consensus on a good price for the car. It was a bit of a struggle to get the low APR financing, but at the end with some persistence from both us and Tracy, we were able to clinch a great deal with Honda Finance. So, overall, the experience was rewarding and I will recommend this dealer to anyone wanting to buy/lease a new Honda. I will continue to go back for my subsequent services.

I just wrote a review, however, I didn't realize that there was more than one Jim at this dealership until I read some other reviews. Jim Franchini and Rich Schlerling both made buying a car almost enjoyable even though it can be stressful. It was nice having someone walk through everything on our car and also sequencing my cell phone so I could use the bluetooth. Very nice and considerate people that work at this dealership.

Worked with Steve and he was awesome! Not pushy at all and was very patient. Would recommend him to anyone looking for a used car. They got us to the payment we wanted fairly quick after some negotiating. Have to expect a little back and forth with that. The financing part went pretty smooth after pushing for a lower interest rate knowing that we had excellent credit and could get a way better rate. The finance guy did some checking around on a few different banks and we were very happy with the outcome. Don't think the rate they come up with first is the best one you can get. Do some research beforehand. It can be changed if you know you can do better. Overall happy customers at Tempe Honda.

Sorry this is a bit long but I really want everyone to know about our shockingly stress free and wonderful purchasing experience at Tempe Honda. Let me just say that usually I despise all aspects of shopping for a car. I stress over the total cost,the "hard sell",being made to feel as the dealer/ sales person is somehow in charge,being ripped off, and just the overall feeling of vulnerability.Not one of these fears came to fruition at Tempe Honda!We had very specific needs, not a much of a down payment,a less than perfect credit rating and needed a vehicle ASAP! My husband recently started commuting over 250 miles per day. The gas cost for his existing car was draining us and the vehicle had started to have problems. So we were in a pickle...sitting ducks to most car dealers. We arrived at Tempe Honda late in the afternoon on a Sunday. We were approached in a very non vulturous way by (our new one and only car sales consultant) Steve Pappas. He took us immediately to the car we were there to see. It was not to our liking. Steve was so genuinely friendly we just felt at ease. We explained a little about our needs and he just walked with us to the cars on the lot that he thought might be what we need. We test drove a few, all the time feeling at ease.Steve listened and verified that he was understanding all our needs. Thanks to his professionalism and just overall being one of the nicest people ever, we found the perfect used car!A car that after we will no doubt, put 100K miles on, will still be of value and we will at no time have negative equity. Steve even steered me away from some higher maintenance and higher priced cars (my low blood sugar, used but shiny BMW...luxurious Infinity)that would not have been in our best interest!We were shown the Carfax without asking as Steve wanted to verify that this was the car that had been meticulously maintained by the first owner.Steve Pappas happily stayed late at work to go over the paper work. With our credit not being the best and an existing auto loan not quite paid off, trying to finance a used car with a low down was not a 20 minute job. Steve kept us informed at every turn, calling us often and making sure we were comfortable with the loan terms and payment amount they were working to get us.This is where John Baily came in to help. He is the Finance Manager and also just the nicest guy! No pressure from John either. I bothered Steve on his cell phone on his day off and he was the same friendly guy he was on the lot.We have already asked Steve to keep his eye out for a very specific type of used car for our daughter, to be purchased in a few month. We cannot imagine buying from anyone else!Ever single person working at Tempe Honda was nice and smiling. We were offered water or coffee and when my stomach growled Steve even offered me a slice of pizza. Just an overall great place with nice people! Now keep in mind I'm in Chicago so my go to guy is Service Manager Ladell Player & as always he's there for me taking care of my daughters car needs....STAT!!! His communication & attention to detail with me is...well just plain OUTSTANDING considering I'm 1800 miles away. I trust him 100% when it comes to the bottom line of the repair costs....he's lookink out for us. We started shopping to BUY a BMW. We ended LEASING an Accord. So it's been a long journey with a wonderful conclusion. I usually HATE car buying & dealing. Jim made the initial contact great via email responses & answers. He suggested I at least try the 6 cycl (which I was deadset against doing)...and I learned how wrong I was. We got a good deal & equitable trade-in and a wonderful car that had everything I was looking for. Dutch answered all our $ questions...and explained leasing well. NO HARD SELL EVER BY EITHER.

Upon arriving at the dealership we requested to speak to the representative we have corresponded with via the instant messenger on the dealer website. Tracy came over andbegan giving us the tour and info on the vehicles we were interested in. After walking us around the lot for a while, Tracy handed us over to Jim Francini to attend to a previously set up appt. Jim took us for a test drive in the Civic EX that we ended up purchasing. Jim was able to get us the minimum we could accept for our trade, and get our payments within a range that we could afford. He was extremely helpful and attentive to our requests. Then Jim handed us over to Rich who went over financing and all the paperwork with us. Rich was very informative and provided the info in a direct and understandable manner. Throughout our whole experience Tracy came by to check in on us and see how we were doing. The teamwork that I witnessed between all of the people we dealed with made us feel more at ease and confident in our experience there. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is interested in getting a fair deal on a quality vehicle. Thank you!

I just want to say that this was the BEST experience we have ever had in buying a car. Ed Kellner was AWESOME!! He made us feel comfortable, didn't pressure us at all and gave us the extra time to make our decision. He gave us all the information we needed and helped us make our final decision. We are so happy with what we purchased. Also, Dutch Tevel(Finance Manager) was so pleasant, warm and extremely friendly. The whole experience at this specific dealership was absolutely amazing. I was very pleased with the customer service that I had at Tempe Honda. I live very close to this dealership and I had two other places that I wanted to check out cars (one in the Scottsdale are and the other out west in the Arrowhead area). My gut had just said to look first at what was closer to my place of residence. Right away as I got to Tempe Honda I was greeted by Abdul who was very friendly and far from pressuring me or haggling me with a sales pitch, etc. He showed me the car that I wanted to look at within minutes of arriving and was able to go for a test run. Although I was leary about going with my first choice of cars, I absolutely loved everything about the car and the customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a used car.

I was very impressed by this dealership, as was my mom, who helped me at the dealer, and my dad who took me to pick-up the new car. This is my second car purchase ever, and my first new car. Art Ocana was my salesman and he couldn't have been more personable, friendly, courteous, as well as professional and ethical. These are traits to which all salesman and dealerships need to aspire. The Finance Director on delivery day was also very professional and amiable, and explained the paperwork so all was clearly understood. I bought my (used)car at Tempe Honda and had a good sales experience, but nothing exceptional. However, the service department was AMAZING! I recently brought my car in and Dave Hudson made sure everything was taken care of, including a nice vacuuming of my car! It was nice to pick it up and have it cleaned :) He was very thorough with describing what was covered under my Honda Care warranty (GREAT coverage), very helpful, and the repairs were done in a timely manner. They picked up the tab for my one day rental, a well. Everyone there is ready to help you right when you drive up. I would never go anywhere else (by choice) for a repair. It was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. As I look for a new car in the years to come, I will definitely keep Honda at the top of my list. It was an exceptional experience.

Stopped by Tempe Honda on a whim today with the intention of checking on a Accord Coupe. Art met me while wandering around the lot and gave some information about the models I asked about. Also mentioned the CRZ that I saw on TV and he let me know he had one on the lot that was recently traded in as a Used car with only 900 miles. Took it out for a test drive and ran some numbers for me. I had let him know what I was looking for in price and although he was not able to get them within my original range, it gave me something to think about. I told him that I wanted to talk to my insurance agent to see if I would be paying less with this car and would talk to him tomorrow. Art said no problem and let me leave. I was surprised at this -- most car dealers I had worked with in the past would NOT let you leave. That let me know that this was a good dealership. I went home and ran some numbers and figured some things out and decided to go back and see if there was any other options regarding financing. Once I got there, he met me in the parking lot again and said yes there were some other options and I agreed to the sale. Went to the Used car side, started on some paperwork and met with Sara. Sara went through all the paperwork and gave me some good information regarding GAP insurance, warranties, etc. I never have had a finance manager go through this information in such a clear, concise information -- totally with no pressure. And all of this towards the end of the day on a Sunday.Finished the deal, Sara is going to work on some alternative financing options to possibly lower the interest rate and get me a better deal. Art finalized the sale and I was on my way. Totally the best car buying experience I have had -- no pressure, clear details in all the numbers, and I didn't feel that anyone was pressuring or trying to take advantage of me. This was by far the best car buying expereince we have ever had! There was no pressure - just straight forward information and helpful assistance. We literally walked out of another car's dealership in the middle of negotiations and returned to Tempe Honda to buy due to the difference we had already seen in Tempe Honda. The finance department was even pleasant! This is my fourth Honda (we've owned Toyota and Volvos among others as well) and this dealership far exceeded our already high expectations for Honda. I rated this visit a 5 because of another excellent customer service experience I received from Mr. Ken Smith, Service Advisor, Tempe Honda, Tempe, AZ.I have never before written a letter like this on an entirely unsolicited basis. However, in this case I have been so impressed by the great customer service I have consistently received from Ken that I felt compelled to let Mr. Penske himself know he has an outstanding employee representing his family name!In a time where exceptional customer service has virtually disappeared, Kens professionalism, courtesy and exemplary customer service should be held up as an example for others to emulate.The thing that particularly impresses me about Ken is no matter how busy he may be, or whats going on around him I continue to receive his undivided attention and always with a smile and his signature yes Mam.Yesterday morning I dropped my vehicle off for service and was provided a ride to work in the courtesy shuttle. As the shuttle was pulling away, I realized I had forgotten my coffee mug. I called Ken, told him what had happened and before I could ask for his help he told me hed have my mug waiting for me when I arrived to pick up my vehicle.Ken was on the phone when I arrived so I went directly to the cashier and completed my transaction. I was outside and just about to get in my vehicle when Ken shouted to me; he was holding my mug up in the air , and with a big smile asking me if I was going to forget it again. Indeed I was! I thanked him for taking such good care of me again, and retrieving my coffee mug (which he had washed out for me!). As always he said it was his pleasure and looked forward to seeing me again.I truly believe that Ken Smith deserves to be congratulated and rewarded for consistently providing exceptional customer service that continues to exceed my expectations.

I had the simple task of dropping off my car at the end of my lease. Teresa Shatwin could not have made this process any easier. I had never used the online chat before, but she quickly set up an appointment that took place 20 minutes later! When I arrived at the dealership she quickly filled out all the paperwork and had me out of there in 10 minutes. It's service like this that will lead me to refer business her way. Eventhough there was no "sale" made today, Teresa Shatwin made sure to take care care of all my needs and made sure I understood the process. A+++

Both Teresa and Art took the "haggling" game out of the equation. They immediately went to the best price, beating a competiting dealer by a sigificant ammount of money. The overall customer service at the dealership was outstanding and surpassed by none I've delt with. This is the 2nd car I've purchased from this dealership, and quite honestly, I'm not sure why I ever even attempt to go elsewhere.

I really appropriate the ease of doing business with both Jim and Lisa and the professionalism they both extended to me. Nothing beats good service and nothing turns me off more than pushy unprofessional salespeople. Tempe Honda's staff are professional, courteous, respectful, and above all both Jim and Lisa showed a very sincere and personable approach. Others may claim these qualities but rarely display it. They were friendly, nonaggressive, knowledgeble, and helpful at every step of the process, especially sales consultant Steve Pappas. They were flexible and willing to work to help meet my budget, and while most dealers wanted to discuss monthly payments, interest rates, and after market additions, at Tempe Honda I was given an out the door price for the car in writing, and at the end of the deal that number was the price I paid. I am happy to let everyone know what a great car buying experience my wife and I had recently at Tempe Honda. I called in on a 2003 Honda S2000 (Spa Yellow with factory hard top) and spoke with the internet rep, Daniel Ruiz, who was spectacular - a real pro. He listened well, was very accommodating and went WAY beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy. He really earned our confidence and our business! They offered us a very fair deal right off the bat - no haggling involved. The Finance Dept. was awesome - they got us a great rate despite our recent bankruptcy. Vance, our F&I guy, was friendly and efficient, and helped us understand the extended warranty we purchased, which was an excellent value. I cant say enough about the team theyve assembled at Tempe Honda, and I want everyone to know what a great job they did for us. This was my second purchase opportunity with Tempe Honda since I had purchased a used vehicle from them in July of 2008. When I began searching for another used vehicle in January of 2010, I put Tempe Honda at the top of my search list due to the very positive experience I had in 2008. Ultimately, my search found a vehicle at Tempe Honda that had just recently been priced in the range I was seeking. My first experience was repeated almost "exactly" the second time around. There were no hassles, not much haggling and overall it was a very pleasant experience. I was treated with great courtesy. The way Tempe Honda Used Cars does business is the best I have ever experienced in the 40+ years I have been purchasing vehicles. They will remain as my first "go to" agency in the future.

Have purchased multiple vehicles in the last several years. No games. No hassles. Probably as painless a sales process as you can encounter -- plus the dealer doesn't pre-add a bunch of junk like Auto Butler to drive up their profits (and your price). Service is also quite smooth, and they don't play a lot of games here either. For routine service, you are in and out with no hassles. Case in point, my 08 Pilot went in for an oil change last month and they replaced the battery as no cost (under warranty) because it failed a test. Dealership is kept cleans and shiny, and has a lot of nice people. Recently rode with a friend to Arrowhead and the place was filthy.I'm very comfortable bringing in friends and relatives, even had my brother-in-law who lives in New Mexico come here to buy a car.

There have always been two things I look for in a car, trust and reliability. I want a car that is safe to operate, economical and one I can count on for performance when required. Coincidentally, I have also found trust and reliability to be the most important things to consider when deciding where to have my vehicles serviced and with whom to trust service related issues.Shane Hackelton has always been my Honda person whenever either of our two Honda's develop problems or require preventative maintenance. For many years Shane has taken the time to make sure whatever is needed is done as quickly and inexpensively as possible. When Shane and his team make a recommendation, I accept it and always error on the side of caution and get the repair action completed. I was dropping off my Honda Accord after my lease was over and Theresa Chatwin was very helpful and made the process easy and it only took 20 min. I recommend this Dealership because it has knowledgeable staff and has a lot of nice cars in stock. If you are looking to lease or buy a Honda or any used car you should go to TEMPE HONDA.

I was in the market for a Honda Civic. Knowing how excellent Honda products are, I visited my local Honda dealership in Tempe Arizona. Tempe Honda had an excellent selection of new and used Honda Civics, with plenty of models, options, and colors to choose from. I found the perfect one and the friendly sales staff was more then happy to accommodate me. The finance department worked with me and managed to work the numbers, over and over, until I got everything I wanted for the price I wanted. About a month later, I unfortunately had a small problem with my (pre-owned) car, but the dealership stepped up and covered the costs, even though they were not liable for the expenses. They treated me with respect and really went the extra mile to serve me in a timely manner. I would most definitely recommend Tempe Honda to anyone in the market for a new or used Honda.

Great experience! Low pressure buying environment, very helpful and easy to work with. The entire buying experience was easy and stress free. We were given the best price within minutes - a price that beat other dealerships in the area where I endured hours of negotiation and high pressure sales tactics. We had been to other dealers, both on the phone and in person, asking for an "out of the door" price. Couldn't get it. Every time we were close there was another add on, or take off, when negotiating got close.Also, we were low balled on on trade in at another dealership. Tempe Honda more than doubled that offer. (I ended up selling privately for a little more.)People at car dealerships have to be nice to you. What they don't have to do is be straightforward. We found that and friendliness at Tempe Honda.Give them a chance to show you.

Have had a great experiences dealing with the sale person and sales manager at Tempe Honda. When I bought my new Honda Accord from Abdul their were no hassles or games played. Made him a fair offer of what I wanted to pay and we made the deal right there without playing all the games. Was very satisfied with the professionalism manner in which he presented himself. It was very painless experience for myself. I can't find enough good thing to say about Michelle in the way she has treated me with the purchase of my new vehicle. I've had some minor bugs to workout after the purchase of my new Accord. She always gave me her assurance on getting these minor problems resolved. Their were a couple items that I needed to purchase for my new car and Michelle took care of them for me. She either had Honda pay for them or gave me a dealers discount. I've been purchasing new vehicles for 30 years and this is the best treatment ever from a new car dealership.

Robert, Cory, & Charles treated me like a VIP. From the time I phoned the dealership to inquire about a 2007 Honda Pilot I had seen on-line - I was treated with honesty, directness, respect, and fairness. Once I made the buying decision, I was out of Finance and on my way in less than an hour and 1/2. I'm a single mom with limited time, finances, and yes - sometimes patience. Not only did Robert, Cory, and Charles respect my "special" circumstances and needs, they made recommendations to ensure I was covered and that my family was safe. This is my 2nd Honda Pilot from Robert James, and certainly will not be my last. I recommend Tempe Honda, and specifically Robert to all my friends looking for honesty and integrity in their car buying expoerience.

My 18 yr old son Jesse was driving cross/country when his '97 Odyssey started having major problems. He called home to ask what he should do so I looked for the nearest Honda dealer and sent him to Tempe Honda. He arrived without an appointment and explained his predicament. Cody Brokenshire not only fixed the problem, but he agreed to check the car over for anything else that might be wrong and sent my son on his way with renewed peace of mind.The charge for changing the oil, replacing the transmission fluid and checking the car thoroughly to diagnose the odd noises it was making and the reason it was burning oil like crazy, came to $130. I thought this was extremely reasonable and a small price to pay for the peace of mind we all gained. Jesse continued on to UTAH safely with no further problem. We met Ed Kellner while shopping for a new car. He was very helpful and informative. After visitng three other Honda dealers, we went back to see Ed at Tempe Honda. Because of him we bought our Pilot and have been very pleased.From Ed to Vince V.(finance consultant) and Gene Penna ( finance director) we were treated with respect. The other Honda dealers should have more people working for them like these three. It was a pleasure dealing with them, once again thanks to Edward Kellner for being a good salesman. Everyone was extremely friendly. We did not feel pressured to buy something we didn't want or like. They made it clear that we should buy what we like. They all were knowledgable about the Honda vehicles and other add ons. They were not delaying the process too long and we were not there for an extreme amount of time.

I was looking for a reliable used car and had narrowed it down to just a few models. I had been looking for sometime and had been to other dealerships. Steve Pappas provided me with the information I needed to make my purchase decision. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. Once I had made the decision, I was very pleased with how FAST I was able to complete the transaction! From the time I arrived at the dealership, looked at the available cars, and test drove my favorites, until the time I was home with my new car was about an hour and a half! I had driven to the dealership and I couldn't drive two cars home, so Steve went above and beyond what I would have expected and drove my new car home for me! I really appreciate the efforts made by Steve, Robert James and Vince Vincijanovic to make my purchase at Tempe Honda the best car buying experience I have ever had!

Working with Steve Pappas and Tempe Honda was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Steve made the entire process easy. He actually listened when I explained what I wanted in a car, what I was hoping to purchase. I was surprised to see how many low miles used cars he had available. I purchased a 2009 Honda Accord the very first day I met with Steve Pappas at the dealership, and that is a first for me. I usually have to search for somethinge that I feel is worth making that oh so wonderful car payment each month...........the hardest part here was deciding which car to choose! I would very highly recommend Steve Pappas and Tempe Honda to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, and already have.

Jim Franchini sold us our Honda Odyssy two years ago. He had excellant custumer service and a straight forward approach to selling cars. When it was time to replace our second car I gave him a call. Once again we were given great service from our first phone conversation to the purchase of our Accord.

Bill did a great job in keeping us informed on the progess of our purchace. There were some concerns we had with the vehicle prior to final commitment of the sale that Bill pushed the service department on that lead to a warranty service through Toyota. We almost did not purchase the vehicle because of past experiance with the Penske organizations, but Bill through calmness, and sense of personal concern for the past issues we had, closed the sale for Tempe Honda.

I wasn't really looking to buy a car right away. I was just looking to test drive some cars and decide later on. After vising Tempe Honda, I was out in two hours with a good deal with all the paperwork signed and driving the car back to my home. These guys convinced me that what I was looking for was right there and was the best they could offer for me, and they were right. The sales guys were really courteous and helpful in answering my questions. Bill and Vince took my case and I was pleased with the way they handled the deal. The dealer did have lot of choices for the particular manufacture/model that I was looking for and Bill was eager enough to let me test drive any cars there.I would highly recommend this dealer for buying Honda cars and make sure you let them know your preferences and difficulties and they would arrange a good finance deals, base price deals and/or other deals.

My wife and I were pleased with the overall process. On the negative side, it took too long to complete the transaction. On the positive side, everyone we worked with was courteous and professional. The dealership is very clean and well staffed. The dealer website was also user friendly and very helpful in making our initial decision to visit.

I have always had friendly service at Tempe Honda. I always deal with Ken Smith. He is very honest and willing to explain things if you don't understand what is going on with your car. They get to know their customers and have a sense of humor with them. I will continue to take both my cars there. I know Ken and the mechanics will always do what is best for me cause they care about the service they give and the quality of the cars.

Called into the dealer for service under warranty, they takes he car in without hesitate and provide rental car. My fog ligh is not under warranty and they just replaced it without charge, that could cost me $300. I would recommand others to have service here ..

Everything about Tempe Honda is so outstanding that it is the first auto dealership that I have entrusted with the care and maintenance of my car. From the greeting of the service writer to the delivery of the cleaned car after work has been completed they do everything possible to make the experience pleasant and satisfying.To start, they give an accurate estimate of the time it will take to be completed. Then depending on my schedule I can take their shuttle to a place within a 10 mile radius or I can wait in a comfortable waiting area where there is coffee, tea, water, fruit, cookies, newspapers and TV available, all at no cost. Above all is the fact that my 2003 Civic with about 105,000 miles still runs and rides as well and as efficiently (36-38 mpg) as it did when we first bought it. Add to that the fact that their work was done correctly the first time, every time. I have never had to return there for a problem which wasn't corrected.These are the reasons I am so high on Tempe Honda. Wouldn't you be also?

Armando Perez was my service advisor today and I wanted to take a moment to say what a fantastic job Armando is doing Ive worked with him many times in the best. He is always knowledgeable, friendly to work with, and goes the extra mile to make sure that everything is taken care of. Michelle Petrenko is the best sales manager I've ever worked with, and it's a testament to her willingness to work with the customer that my friends are buying cars from her. One of the best experiences at a car delearship I have ever had. I had my three children with me so the playroom and the offer of the hot chocolate was incredible and allowed me to to get the paperwork done without interruption. The overview of the paperwork and the features of the car were thourough and professional. The overall service was top notch!!!

I purchased a Honda Odyssey EX with Nav system from Tempe Honda and had a great experience.I negotiated the price in advance and then came in to complete the sale.The price was as we discussed, no gimicks, which is a huge plus.My sales person was fast and responsive.I also felt I got a good deal on the OdysseyMy work schedule did not allow me to come in to finalize the deal until late evening. Even though it was late, when the paperwork was done the salesman spent a ton of time with us showing us all the bells and whistles and answered all my questions.I would recommend Tempe Honda and definitely love the Odyssey, way better than an SUV.

I got the major service (30K miles) done on my 2006 civic. When I went to drop my car off in the morning, they gave me a long list of things that are done under this service. Servicing this..... servicing that... checking this ...checking that.I intentionally kept the windshield washer fluid tank empty when I dropped of the car to see if they are checking that part or not.But guess what... it was empty when I picked up the car that evening. Also, they didnt steam clean the engine which was suppose to be done as per the check list they showed me.So when I check it before driving off the lot, they made up excuses and then had it taken back to be steam cleaned.So do you think they do all the checks that were on that list? I highly doubt it.It was my last visit to this delear. I am going back to the dealear where I bought my car, which would be a little more drive for me but I think its ok to drive then being fooled even after you pay over three hunderd dollars for the so called 'Detailed' service.TEMPE HONDA.. YOU JUST LOST 1 CUSTOMER.

Hi everyone, if you want to go to a car dealership that will honor their word and respect you and your time then Tempe Honda is NOT the place to purchase your next car.My husband and I needed to purchase a new car, since we have a large family we needed a car with 8 seating. On Saturday night we test drove lots of cars and decided on the Honda Odyssey. We spoke with a salesman and manager. We told them that we could come back on Monday (the 31st) but would be pressed for time as we had to pick our oldest child up by a certain time. They told us they could work quickly so, Monday we are on the phone a few times discussing the price. We were told that they could sell it to us for $28,000. BUT when we arrive at the dealership they said that the lowest they could sell the car that we were talking about the whole time was $31,500.Then they gave us the option of downgrading to another car for the $28,000 price. Long story short- 2 and a half hours later they offered the nicer car for $29,500 ( I thought the lowest they could go was $31,500) Anyway, If they had honored what they had said to us, we would be driving a new car today and they would have made a sale. Instead they let their true colors shine. So now I am happy that I did not give my business to them. I want to spend my hard earned money with a company that stands by what they say.
