Had my first service appointment and oil change and was handle flawlessly. They switched my to synthetic oil for a very reasonable price (was expecting 'dealer' price). Additionally, they fixed a few minor things with the car under warranty all within the same day. Nick kept me informed through the day and can't knock them for doing what I would expect a dealer to do for the first service.

Jesse greeted me as soon I walked in we were able to see if I would be pre-approved before wasting anytime locating the vehicles I was interested in looking at. I came in interested in a used Soul but was able to leave with a brand new Soul in the color I really wanted. Great experience overall, everyone was very helpful. Dealership is worth the drive from anywhere in the valley.

Went in to look at a Kia Soul. Bill Vanskyhock from the internet sales department showed me the exact car I asked to see. I brought my new Kia Cadenza in for a steering pull to the left. Got it back with a pull to right. Brought it in 3 more times and each time they said it was fixed and that it drove straight. Still pulled hard right. They told me there was nothing wrong it was me feeling the car grabbing the uneven road conditions. Took it to Horn Kia and they found it to be out of alignment over 1 degree. They had to work with the Kia engineers to figure out to fix it but they got it done. 4 worn out tired and 40,000 miles later my car finally drives straight. I would not go to Tempe Kia, use Horn Kia. Oh and as a Cadenza owner I was supposed to get a complementary loaner car. All I got fro Tempe Kia was a lift in a dirty shuttle.

DO NOT LEAST A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP, UNLESS YOU WANT THE WORSET LEASE END EXPERINCE. This dealership has the worst in customer service for lease ending. 4 Months before my lease ended they called me and stated that they needed to talk to me about my lease. I asked them when lease was my least ending and they informed me in 05/16. Not sure what the problem was but I made the appointment and arrived on time. After being there for at2 min finally figured out what they were doing. It was not about my end of lease as much as trying to get me to lease another car. I informed the salesman that I had not even thought about another car lease and what car I wanted. After much haggling I told them I would lease but my payment had to be under $300. They inspected my car and told me what they could offer .They kept trying to negotiate a $312. After much back and forth I told them I was not interested and would comeback in May. Came back in May and I called to make appointment to finalize the paper work. I get there and the person I was supposed to meet (Jerry Rush) is off that day. They search for person to help me and they find a person who really does not understand leasing and had to keep going to a manager to ask how to do it. To make matters worse, they claimed that they do not inspect the car right there. Some Kia representative would have to inspect the car, to leave the car and they would get back to me in 1 week. Ok why did they inspect it the 1st time, but not the 2nd time? Was it because I was not leasing or buying their car? hmmm.. Who knew what would happen to the car in that 1 week in their lot when they took it away. After 1 week the so called "lease manager" Nick calls me and ask how my experience was. I explained everything and he sounded reeeeeaaaal apologetic and concerned about my experience and said he would talk to the managers and sales people about it and would call me back about it. (Like I really believed that). Well guess what its been 3 days and no callback. I did not expect one and I do not want another conversation with this dealership. I would avoid this dealership, there is too many other Kia's dealerships out there that want your money.

Doug placed a precedence over educating me about the 2015 Kia Optima that I was interested in before even mentioning anything about price, financing, etc. This was an extremely welcome conversation as opposed to the constant strong-arm tactics of other dealers, Doug simply wanted to help me make the best-informed decision I possibly could to make sure I was happy with whatever conclusion I reached.I went to two other dealerships in the valley, both of which were much closer to where I live, after spending my morning at Tempe Kia. None of the other lots matched the friendly environment of Tempe Kia, and no other salesman cared to make sure I was informed about the vehicle (only ever leading off with the stereotypical "what can I do to help you get in this vehicle today?")Thank you Doug; Thank you for actually caring about your customers.

Took my wife today to buy her first new car and it went so smooth that I expected the other shoe to drop. It didn't. Charles was our sales rep and he was cool as the other side of the pillow. No pressure. Honest about about what he knew and didn't know. After the test drive and sitting down to discuss the deal, I was shocked that there was zero negotiation. He came with a price and asked what we thought? Totally fair. Easy....easy....easy. My ONLY gripe. Be prepared to be there for a few hours. Highly recommend.

I went to Tempe Kia looking to test drive a Forte5 and Doug Notter, the internet sales manager, assisted me. We had texted a bit before I arrived and on further discussion as we headed for the test drive, he asked me why I was interested in the Forte5. I explained what led me down that path and he asked if I had conisdered the Soul. I wasn't familiar with the model and he described some of the features that he thought I might find favorable. We were riding in the Forte5, which was fine, but I was intrigued by the Soul and agreed to look at one. He showed me several and after sitting in the Soul and checking out the features we did a test drive. The car was everything he represented and more. I started the day thinking I would just test drive one model and ended up buying a different model.Doug was terrific. He spent a great deal of time with me and I never felt rushed or like he felt inconvenienced. He answered questions, pointed out things but I never felt pushed to buy. By suggesting a different model car, it showed he listened to what I was saying and found a way to help discover a car I would really enjoy driving. His low-key, no-pressure approach was so different from what I expected.My whole experience at Tempe Kia was excellent and I would recommend them highly.

I first went to a dealership closer to my house and was given a horribly bad deal (they quoted me one price but tried to charge me for another). After that bad experience, I decided to go to Tempe Kia based on their reputation. What an amazing difference!I worked with Andrew, who was open and honest about the prices of the various trim lines I was looking for. He helped me through not only picking out a car, but helping me get the lowest price given Kia's incentives (both in rebates and financing deals). Throughout the process, he was honest, open, professional, and there were no surprises whatsoever. The price he gave me was the price I expected to pay after reviewing the cars online at home. The price I was charged at the finance department was the same price he quoted me, and rebates and financing deals were exactly has he described.I can't tell you how important it is to me to have an honest salesperson, who not only delivers what they tell you, but stays with you throughout the entire process, to ensure you're taken care of.This dealership, I'm told, is a family owned one, and really stresses customer relations moreso than some of the other larger dealerships in the area. After my experience at "one of those" dealerships, I wholeheartedly agree. The whole experience was a pleasure.If you're looking for a Kia, Jeep, or Chrysler, I would HIGHLY recommend going to this dealership.

From the sales person DOUG NOTTER to the service rep {KRYSTAL?} the whole experience was great.I got the vehicle I wanted at a little better than the the quoted price . A tow package was ordered and came in within a week .It was installed in a day, no problem. It was actually enjoyable. I purchased a 2015 KIA SEDONA CERTIFIED unit.I really I really love the van. We have purchased vehicles over the years, but this was by far the most pleasant car-buying experience we have ever had. Doug Notter was the Internet Sales manager that we worked with. He was very patient and explained everything thoroughly and did not rush us in a decision or try to sway us one way or another. He was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to be around. He let us drive numerous cars to compare and always made sure we were comfortable and understood what we were looking at. Things were delayed at the end of the process because they did not have enough finance people to handle the influx of sales, but that was the only negative in the whole experience. Even through all of the waiting, Doug kept coming back to check on us and made us feel like we were important. I would recommend Doug to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. He is the best!

We have not purchased a new auto in thirteen years. I hate the experience. We had thoroughly reseached what we wanted and found Tempe Kia to be a very pleasant buying experience. No high pressure. No negotiating with the "sales manager" Carl Bowden was honest, straight forward and gave us exactly what we wanted. The car was on the lot, but not ready. The battery was dead and tiores low. But, Carl rallied the necessary forces and had the car ready when the transaction was completed.

I was expecting to have to speak to the manager several times....however, I did not have to speak to the mgr once. Our sales rep was upfront and honest on what he could or couldn't do. I recommend this dealership and our sales rep as they also have a larger inventory than most dealers. The only part of the process that took the longest was the paperwork with finance as they were a little backed up from other buyers.

I went to Camelback Kia first and had an average experience so I thought I'd check out Tempe Kia and I couldn't have been happier with my decision. I worked with Jerry Rush and he is the man! Jerry was very personable and made the car buying process painless. In fact, there were numerous times I forgot I was buying a car! I thought I was hanging out with my "Uncle Jerry." When it came to price, there was no haggling going on. Jerry simply asked me how much I wanted for my old car and what I wanted my monthly payments to be. I also worked with Gilbert Montoya in the finance department and Gilbert ensured me I was getting a good deal that he even showed me the invoice that they paid for the car. Lastly, I appreciated how honest and upfront Tempe Kia was during the car buying process. They didn't try to hide fee's and then put a bunch of add on's later just to get you into the door like other Kia dealers in the valley. I would recommend Jerry and the folks at Tempe Kia to all my friends.

If I could give less than one star I would!My fiance and I went to Kia on Friday and our sales person (Jim) was horrible. My fiance was very adamant that the car we wanted would have light exterior paint and would have the solid black interior. Our sales person kept showing us cars that had the two-tone interior. He finally showed us a car with the interior color we wanted, but the car was incorrect exterior color. After we told him there was no way we would purchase that car, he had his manager come and talk to us. My fiance told him the exact specifications he wanted and we were told that we could get that car, but they would need to bring it in from a different dealership. We asked if the car would have auto headlights and we were told by both salesmen that it would be on the car. They told us that they would call us in the morning with the time the car would be at the dealership. We went the next day to finish buying the car, we took a test drive and we liked the car. We went to financing and purchased the car. After we got out of the finance area, Jim was there to help us learn more about the car. As he was showing us how to work the headlights, my fiance said we would just leave the headlights on Auto. Surprise to us, auto headlights were not an option on the car we just purchased. My fiance was getting upset about it and he was trying to discuss it was Jim, but Jim kept ignoring him and was trying to set up the blue-tooth sync. And to be frank, I could have done a better job of programming my car than Jim. After 5 minutes, we finally got the car set up, and my fiance asked Jim, if we were going to discuss the fact that the car did not have auto headlights like we were told the previous day. We spoke to Scott (who was extremely helpful) and he was able to calm my fiance down. Before we left, I asked for my second set of keys for the car, and Jim told me that they were in the packet that was in the car. I told him that I did not see any keys earlier and as it turns out the keys were not in the packet. The dealership was looking for the keys for over 30 minutes. During this entire time, not a single manager came out to talk to us about it. I called Bill Griffin (Customer Relations Manager) and he said he would contact John to come out and talk to us, but no one came. They finally found my key, it had fallen out in the finance waiting room and was stuck in a chair. Jim kept making excuses as to why it fell out. Frankly I was ready to leave. Car buying is supposed to be an exciting time, but Tempe Kia managed to turn our excitement to disappointment and frustration within 45 minutes. I would also like to say that I think its shameful that the sales people have customers do a review on them before you even go to financing. You cant rate the entire experience this way. Its very awkward for the customer and both my fiance and I didn't really didn't want to write anything, but felt obligated. I would never suggest anyone come here if they could avoid it. Its full of people who dont care about you as a customer at all!

Took my car in for the services stated in the title. The oil change with full synthetic oil was on $56 bucks, which is cheaper than if I were to do it myself. They did not do the tire rotation as requested because my treads were all even and they said that there was no reason to charge for something that didn't need to be done.

Drove from Goodyear all the way out to Tempe (bypassing several other Kia Dealerships along the way) to look - just look - at Kia's advertised by Tempe Kia -- and we are very glad we did. Jim Iwami made the entire experience very low-key, pleasant and enjoyable -- not at all like previous car buying excursions at other dealerships which made car buying something to dread and avoid if possible. Kiko in finance was also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Kia's (we now have three) in general and Tempe Kia, Jim Iwani and Kiko in particular.

Took our Kia Sorrento for servicing on 2-6-15 and also asked them to clean the battery terminals which they said would costs $35.00. After we got it home I looked under the hood and noticed that the battery terminals had been cleaned but not the cables as there was still corrosion showing on them. I guess I should have asked them to clean the cables too as well as put lubricant on the terminals but now I wonder if that would have been an additional costs. In any case when I got home I decided to take the terminals off and clean them properly myself. Consequently a job that costs $35.00 at the dealership and took about 5 to 10 minutes to complete and was not done in what one would consider a professional manner.

Just bought an Optima from this dealership on Sunday 1/4/15 and worked with Nick who helped collaborate to get the best deal possible. Everyone at Tempe Kia was really nice, but Nick stood out and was the first one to help me when I was browsing days before I finally made a purchase. He made the whole process more enjoyable with his down to earth personality. : ) When I came back (due to being super forgetful and leaving 6 CDs inside my old car that I traded in) Nick had them ready for me and we jammed to old school Technotronic together as he helped me figure out how to work some of the bells and whistles on my new car. This man is awesome and a lot of fun! Very helpful and good natured the entire time. He was also patient while I said my nostalgic goodbyes to my trusty Honda I traded in. Really glad I bought from Tempe Kia and didn't go anywhere else in the valley.

I had owned a 2006 Sorento and had to put it in due to the check engine light. My vehicle had over 183,000 miles on it ( I have been the only owner) so I decided it was most likely time to get a new vehicle. I absolutely loved my Sorento so I decided to go with KIA again, unfortunately they no longer are made with manual transmission. I had done a pre-approval online, and rec'd a call from Andrew Harper. We talked over what exactly I was looking for, and he met me at the Service Dept at Tempe KIA bright and early Sat morning. Andrew was absolutely AWESOME!!! he went over the vehicle I was looking at (KIA SOUL) showing me every cool detail, and even sync'd up the bluetooth for me. I was searching for a Kia optima over the summer and decided stop by Tempe Autoplex. I had been pre-approved through my bank, I just needed to find my car. I stopped into Tempe Kia, where we were greeted by one of the salesmen. He started off as a decent salesman, but the more we spoke, the more rude he became. I was asking the same questions that I had asked at the other dealerships I had been to. When talking about the price, the conversation went downhill from there. They had a 2013 Optima LX priced a little higher than other dealerships (similar mileage, no major differences). I could have purchased that vehicle if I wanted to, but why par more for the same thing priced lower somewhere else. At one point in the conversation, the salesman told me that "the optima was too much car for me". Needless to say I am driving a 2013 Optima that had only 20k miles on it and nothing mechanically wrong and no body damage that I did not buy from this dealership. Customer service is everything! I do remember the salesman's name, however I will not include it because I don't feel the need to.

I was very impressed with Alisha and her finance manager Eilzra. I was referred to this dealership from another dealership. (Possibly because I had high expectations that seemed impossible and they couldnt help me.) From the first conversation with Alisha I could tell she was committed to making sure not only was I taken care of but I was happy. I had very little to put down, was upside down on my trade in, not so great credit score and was very particular in the car I wanted. Alisha did research, followed up with me, came up with several options making sure I followed along through the whole process. The finance manager went over my credit with me, discussed options and issues. It took a couple days but they got me in a great car that fit all of my expectations. Low miles, roomy, great condition, and with a great warranty all within my price range.Not sure how they pulled it off but Im very happy about it. I will definitely refer them to anyone I know looking for a great deal and great customer service.

Spoke on the phone with Jerry prior to arriving so car was ready to test drive when I arrived. We ended up going with the car after looking at a couple other colors. Other than that, process was very quick given that I had an idea of what I wanted already. Finance as well was quick once we were seen. Overall, in and out in 2hrs which is VERY good timing on a Friday evening. Most definitely would recommend someone to Tempe Kia.

Excellent service stopped was only looking and interested in the KIA SOUL Chip Rooney was out in the lot spoke with my husband. Chip was new his cars well.Stopped to just really window shop to driving home a new KIA SOUL we love the vehicle it a rides, drives and has a lot of room just as Chip had shared and we notice on the test drive. Husband met with floor manger sorry cannot remember his name he was from Canada a nice man that took the paperwork to Craig Darrow all three guys were great. Chip dor surely sold us our car. Cold bottle of water was offered on a very hot door a few different times within the hour in half we were there first by chip and other workers.

Normally I hate the process of buying a car. I hate the amount of time it takes to buy a car and I usually leave after buying a car with the dreaded "buyers remorse." This is the first time I have left a dealership feeling excited about my purchase! Jim Linsey was excellent, probably the best sales rep I have dealt with. He was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions about the car with a no pressure friendly attitude. Honestly, we were planning to buy a used car, we had a specific budget and after speaking to Jim for less than 5 minutes, he directed us to the car we bought, it was not used, but new! He listened to what we wanted and how much we had to spend without trying to up sell us, so the process was quick and painless. We were looking for something that would replace our old vehicle that was stylish, inexpensive and great MPG.We were greeted by Brent and explained to him what we were looking for. He then introduced us to Greg. We explained that we were just looking and he was great about that. He showed us a KIA Soul and suggested we take it for a drive. We did take it for a drive and were quite impressed. We thanked Greg and went home to talk about it. The next morning we contacted Tempe KIA and told them we wanted the red Soul we looked at. They got us all the paperwork to get started. Within an hour we were financed and all we needed was to get proof of insurance. We provided that and we were ready. When they brought the car to the front they explained everything about all the features and even paired our phones to the Bluetooth radio. They also told us to call or stop by if we had any other questions about how the many features worked.This was the most delightful experience we have ever had while purchasing a vehicle.We would not hesitate to refer anyone to Tempe Kia.

Miserable experience!!! I worked out a deal to purchase a new auto with this dealer. They were short staffed and I began the process with a sales manager. After a test drive, I was handed off to a new salesman who had not worked in auto sales very long. He was slow, but managed to work out a deal for a reasonable price. I was not sure if I wanted to finance part of the deal or pay cash, and told them due to the pending purchase of a home I did not want them to run my credit until I had made my decision. I would not be making my decision until I had the opportunity to speak with the finance department. I brought a copy of my credit report, credit score and needed to make sure they only ran my credit once. They worked up the deal for pending finance, which I knew might change if I decided to pay cash. They told me I needed to sign permission to run the credit report. I balked and again told them my concerns. I was told that the deal could not move forward to the finance paperwork without all of the paperwork signed, but was assured by the salesman and the sales manager that they would not run my credit without my knowledge. On three occasions I explained the reason for not wanting my credit run, and was assured that they would make sure I was taken care of.I was taken to the finance department and left to sit in the waiting area for over 20 minutes. During that time they shopped my credit, getting two denials and two approvals which my home lender told me not to allow them to do. I was incredibly frustrated and the entire staff went into defensive mode. I was told that it was my fault and that they would do nothing to correct the situation. They acted as if I was overreacting, and that every dealer works this way. They offered $500 off to continue the deal. No offer to revoke the credit checks, which would take time on their part.I spoke with my lender who advised me that the dealer could remove the credit by deleting the inquiries using e-Oscar. I called the dealer and asked for a letter stating they ran my credit in error on their letterhead so that I could show my lender, and the 3 credit reporting bureaus. I was told they would not. Needless to say, I am currently working with the credit reporting agency to remove the erroneous credit checks. I walked away from the deal and am a happy owner of a Kia purchased from a different dealer. In my opinion they were unprofessional, inexperienced, and the management was down right rude.

There is NO comparison to any other dealer out there. They are AMAZING and actually do what they say they can. They found us the best rate for interest and gave us a more than fair trade value for our old minivan. They were kind, patient with our boys, and extremely professional. We went to another dealership before and the feeling and the whole experience is night and day difference. We actually had fun. They were so excited for us and James Duet even stayed to meet us before he left. We were referred by the CarProShow and it was a great experience. We will definitely tell all our friends and family. I will even tell strangers in the grocery store about our experience. You can't go wrong by going there. Bobby was very friendly and you could see the excitement from him as we were preparing for our new adventure. The facility is clean and very nice. The bathrooms were great and you felt like you were in a fancy resort. They were exactly what they said they were for the price in person and over the phone. I could go on all day, but in the interest of your time, I won't. I recommend everyone go there and see for themselves. James was very friendly and professional, but you could feel his honesty, I know that isn't common in a dealership...but it is true!!! Bobby handled the signing and was great. He was very kind and professional and hospitable. Michelle got our family at the end, for financing. She is wonderful too. Our kids were all past bedtime and extremely tired. She was so patient and understanding. Bobby got my Bluetooth all set up and showed me all key features. He even took a family picture for us. Essentially, I purchased two vehicles at once in this deal, which was the goal from the start. I had been to another Kia dealership where I was left with no 'breathing" room to just walk around at my leisure to look over the different models and styles. In addition to that, I was heavily pressured to purchase a SUV that I didn't even LIKE. NOT SO at Tempe Kia. We were allowed enough time to snoop around a bit on our own. Our sales representative, Barry Vogel, then answered questions and took his time so we could decide which cars to test drive. He wasn't at all "pushy" (the part we all hate about car dealerships, right?) and he was very helped in giving us all the information he could so we could make the right decision for what we wanted. Brand new optima and at 22, 000 miles already have an oil leak and my engine started shaking. Took it in they said I'm wrong and they fixes whatever they could, however at now 30, 000 miles my engine shaking again!!! They don't give you a rental car and have fun staying in there horrible waiting room!!

I hate buying cars usually the sales people use high-pressure techniques and generally come off as a bit, slimy. I went to Tempe KIA to test drive a KIA Forte and as I was walking toward the office, Andrew Harper asked me if I needed help. Andrew then offered to take me for a test drive and after that, I left to consider my purchase. I returned the next day, asked for Andrew, and he helped me take a second look at other vehicles on the lot. I had looked at some of their vehicles via a Google search and found a sweet Dodge Avenger. Andrew fixed me up and I was out in about an hour. Thanks Tempe KIA! I highly recommend this dealer for no-hassle shopping!

I think most people dread the thought of going new car shopping. The excitement of a new car purchase is overwhelmed by the thought of dealing with the Car buying experience. I had visited two other dealers and had two underwhelming experiences when I walked onto the lot at Tempe Kia. Barry walked up asked if he could help me, asked thoughtful questions and answered all of my questions. He attempted to sell me a car he had on the lot, we talked numbers for a while, but I told him I was also considering another brand of car. He made his case as to why the Kia was a better value ( he was right) but never made a big stink out of my desire to go look at the other brand. He stayed in touch and was a true professional. So much so that when I decided to but a Kia I had him get it for me, when another local dealer had the car I wanted. A completely solid experience. I would, and will, recommend Tempe Kia and Barry Vogel to anyone looking for a car.

When we entered the dealership we weren't swarmed by salesman, which was very nice. The sales rep that we approached, Scott Purvis, was very friendly and honest. It was his non-aggressive personality that actually kept us there. All in all it is the "employees" who generally make the company what it is and in this experience, Scott Purvis, was an excellent sales rep and we would definitely purchase from the dealer again, if they continue with the same sales ethics as Mr. Purvis.The dealership itself was very impressive, and modernized. The showroom and the way they concluded the sales was tasteful. Not the back and forth between sales rep and manager that you tend to find at most dealerships.

I visited Tempe Kia in the morning and then I visited another dealership to see what SUV's they had. After much deliberation I went back that night to buy the SUV at Tempe Kia. During my financial transaction I was having 2nd thoughts about the price and what they gave me for my trade in. Barry and his Manager were so patient and non-pushy in explaining to me what my trade in and payments were. Even after they explained everything I was still not comfortable in understanding the information. I called a friend of mine to meet me at the dealership and they were so nice to re-explain to me and my friend again the interest rate, trade in value and what my payments were. After going thru all the data again, it made more sense and even my friend was impressed in the interest rate, payment and bargin I received for the SUV I was buying. Three days later, I received a call from Tempe Kia asking me about my experince and was I happy with my purchase. Then they called me again the next week just making sure I was till satisifed. Overall I am very happy with my experience at Tempe Kia and would refer them to my friends.

Gene was very polite when we meet him. Gene was very good at describing the vehicle, so that we could understand everything he was saying. Gene was not pushy at all, which turns my wife and I off towards that kind of dealer. I offered a price for the vehicle that I thought was fair and they accepted it. My wife wanted only a red car, but they didn't have one, Greg Dayley was also very polite and helpful, he offered to pick up a vehicle from a distant dealer for us during rush hour traffic which was very busy at the time. We arrived at the dealer at 2:15 p.m. and didn't leave there until 7:45 p.m. and Gene stuck with us the whole time! I have had my vehicle for almost 2 weeks and we love it!! We trust Gene and Greg and we would recommend them to anyone who wants to buy a car!

I went to the dealership hoping to test drive a 2011 Kia Soul that was available under the leader ad. As I pulled into the dealership and got out of my car, I was greeted by Justin. He knew I was coming because of my calling ahead and he knew I wanted to test drive that Kia Soul. Unfortunately someone else was taking the only one that was left on the lot under the special price. So we headed in and started the paperwork, in hopes of snagging that car first. Once the car came back we took it for a test drive. I fell in love with the car. I had already test drove an automatic transmission else where, but the standard transmission was so much more fun! So we get back to the dealership and Justin goes to talk to management about the only car left. He came back with some not so great news. Since someone else already had dibs on that car, I couldn't have that one. But then things changed to good. He told me they can trade what they have on the lot with another dealership to get the car I really wanted. I was elated! I was able to get the car I wanted at the price that was good for me. I had to wait another day, but it was totally worth it! Justin made this whole process good for me. He treated me as a friend throughout, not like another customer. Thank you!

Needed my car serviced and I have been there before and I had good service so I was not too nervous, but when I called the service area, the woman on the line was not very friendly. When I got there the woman seemed like I was a bother. She was texting and chatting about weddings and personal life. Normally things like that do not bother me, but I felt very uncomfortable and as woman its already a nerve wracking task. Service was great the last few times not so much my last. I would still recommend this place, just a clean up of what great quality customer service really means

Short answer: dishonest and pulled tons of tricks. Some tricks are expected, but using the wrong credit score to justify rates and trying to sneak money into monthly payments (and by that I mean "we got you approved at 8.9%" and the math added up to them putting the payment at much higher than 8.9%). Flat our liars and extremely unethical.Long answer:Let me share my experience. I'll preface it with: we love the car, I'll shoulder my end of the responsibility for not being thorough enough to question everything, and no, I didn't go in expecting 1.9% APR.For the record, I can document the credit discrepancies (well I can't show what they showed me, but I do have documentation that the number the banks had were significantly higher than what they showed.Brandon Hawes (You) reviewed in the last weekQuality Poor to fair Appeal Poor to fair Service Poor to fairWorth reading if you are considering buying from Tempe Kia: We love our car but the negotiation process was sub par, to be nice. They lied almost every step of the way. You know this going into any dealer, but the two most notable things they pulled on us were: 1. for finance, they pulled our credit. he told me they couldn't get us certain rates because our score was too low. he showed us a print out of our credit score. Shame on me for not pushing the issue, but they showed us the lowest score of the three pulled and told me mine was a (removed, but lower than what they submitted to the lenders) and my wife was (removed, same as above) and that's why we needed a higher rate. We just got one of the denials in the mail and it says plain as day that mine was a (removed, but higher than they showed us) and my wife's was a (removed, same as above). So clearly they used this to jack up our rate. Obviously, again, shame on me for not pushing the issue when I knew it should have been higher, but what kind of ethics does that show to show me a lower score than what was being used on the approval. 2. I caught this one before we signed... we switched from going after a Sorrento to a Soul to keep the price down. They had me approved at one rate: 8.9% (which was inflated due to issue 1). When we switched cars, I told him that this one makes more sense and should put our payments in the low to mid $300s per month. He said he got the 8.9% approved on the new car choice and that our payment was $352. Something didn't sound right based on the numbers, so when we sat down to sign, I ran the numbers myself (total loan with number of months at the rate approved). The actual payment was actually $330. They just tried to slide the extra $20 a month in there hoping I would miss it. I called them out on it, and the finance guy (Kiko) said "Oh, I'll make that adjustment" and tried to pass it off on me as "well that's what you agreed to." There was plenty more to say this place is just as shady as can be when it comes to car deals, but those are the two most unethical ones I can think of. I'm not sure how they can justify flat out doctoring numbers like credit score and payment, but "that's just how it works," right? John was my sales guy and Kiko was the finance guy. I'll share my side of the blame for not being more thorough, but come on...

I had been to several other dealerships to test drive and get pricing on more than a dozen other vehicles and Tempe Kia was my last stop. I was casually approached by Steve Averill and he stayed with me throughout the process. I was not handed off to a "closer" or a sales manager. Steve was able to conduct business on his own. Steve showed me around, asked what my needs were and discussed my options with every vehicle I asked about. He answered every question I asked. He treated me like a human and not just another sale. There is a phrase used in sales, "people buy from people" and it couldn't have been more true with Steve. Having a great vehicle didn't hurt either! I asked Steve for some extra business cards before I left and I've already handed out three of them in less than three weeks. My brother and his wife even have an appointment with Steve later this week!

I first contacted Tempe Kia and Rob Defenderfer back in May 2012 when we were looking to replace a car that was totalled in an accident. He was VERY helpful without being pushy, and gave us information on Kia Sorrento. Even though we ended up buying a new Nissan Quest mini van, he kept the contact and left a good impression so that we would again contact him in November when I was looking to replace a 2004 Volvo C70. I was very interested in a lower price sedan with great gas milage, preferably a Hybrid. He had patience enough to wait about a month to sell me an Optima Hybrid right in the beginning of December getting us a very good price. We are extremely happy with both the car we ended up with and everything in the purchasing process. This was by far the best car dealership experience we've ever had. The whole experience seemed more relaxed and we never felt pressured to make a decision. Frederico was never pushy, and went "over and above" to see we got a fair deal. He went to bat for us and continued to get a little more money for our trade, was able to get the price down for the car we were interested in, and he worked with his manager to get us a lower interest rate, which really sealed the deal.Normally, we like to look at several different vehicles at different dealerships, but we were so impressed with Frederico and the Tempe Kia dealership, that even though they were our first stop, we decided to purchase from them. From the time I arrived on the lot, Tempe Kia employees were ready to assist in every way possible. A sales associate approached, shook my hand, and inquired as to how he could be of service. First impressions are everything, and Barry (the employee with whom I worked) was the epitome of that impression. He immediately put the keys of the car I was interested into my hand and said we should take a test drive. As we drove, he explained the features of the cars, breaking them down so that I could understand the lingo of car dealerships. After showing me the ins and outs of the car, he escorted me to his office where we discussed the process of buying the car I was interested in. He, along with other Kia personnel continually helped me through the process, careful to make sure that not only I made the decision, but that I received the best deal possible. Kia personnel were so kind in their service that they stayed past their shift late at night to ensure that I had the best experience possible. Overall, Tempe Kia and its employees is the best, friendliest, and supportive dealership I've been to.

I dealt most directly with Albert Thomas, Sales Specialist and was most pleased with the service and friendliness he showed me. Albert not only took me for a test drive after I told him I wasnt a guarenteed customer, but he also followed through with keeping me updated on Optimas that came new to the lot. I feel that Albert went out of his way to make sure to keep me informed about new products and rebate opportunities too. Steve was very helpful in us finding a used vehicle within our price-range. We told him our maximum limit and he showed us several vehicles under than limit. I can't tell you how much that meant to us. I liked that he knew the inventory; he worked with us when it came to trading in our Rav4, and even came to our house to pick it up. I had a 2006 Kia Sedona that was stolen several weeks ago right from my driveway. I have been driving a van for about 15 years and was ready for a change even though it was a great vehicle for us. My husband was very patient with me and wanted me to have the perfect vehicle, so we traipsed all over the Tempe Auto Plex and even to Chapman Chevy in Tempe. I initially decided upon a Chevy Equinox and went to the dealership with check book in hand. All of a sudden the prices on the vehicle started changing until eventually my husband and I stormed out. Needless to say, we were very upset and starting at square one. We decided to venture over to the Kia dealer where we met Justin Bean. He was very patient with me. He not only knew all the Kia inventory inside and out but he knew the Dodge and Jeep stock as well. We had no pressure. Lo and behold, he showed us a new 2012 Sedona to compare the other vehicles against for leg room, very important as we have a son who is almost 6'9, value, and style. We decided that as much as we liked our previous Sedona we would stick with what worked for us. Justin never applied pressure, he listened intently, and led us back to where we should have started. Justin explained price and value, and we are very satisfied with the price he worked out for us. When we picked the van up the next day, Justin gave us the most extensive and knowledgeable tour of the vehicle than we have ever had on any vehicle we have owned. He helped up sync up our phones to the Bluetooth, opened the hood to explain the engine, and gave us a rundown of our maintenance schedule. He never rushed us and wanted us to be very comfortable with the vehicle. Thank you very much to Justin for making this our first pleasant car buying experience! We had read reviews of the Kia Rio and liked the complete overhaul in looks and performance. Since Kia-Tempe is very close to our house we decided on a Sunday afternoon to check the Rio out. We met Barry Sureway (602-592-9129) and were very upfront with him that we were just looking. In spite of that, Barry was very friendly, discussed the value of the Rio and took us for a test drive. He then had our present car evaulated and helped us work out a price we felt we couldn't do any better any where else. It was a very pleasant experience in all aspects. THE VERY WORST DEALER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!Went thier to test drive a 2012 kia Sorrento and the salesman williams collins was very rude.I had been to at least 10 different car dealer of other makes and no problems.As i just wanted to quickly just test drive this vehicle and not waste his time or mine i gave him my drivers licence and asked for a test drive.He then wanted my home phone of which i told him that i do not give my number do to the fact i work graveyard shift and a lot of overtime and cant have phone calls.he rudely told me no phone number....no test drive.I told him I would give my e-mail and he just gave my licence back and said No.You have go to be kidding me!!!Call the manager from the parking lot and was just as rude.Well tempe Kia I bought a 2012 honda crv ex-l,great car, best buy i ever made THANK YOU HONDA SAVED ME FROM TEMPE KIA.

I had been shopping for a very specific model of Dodge Durango, so I had been calling several dealers in the country but when you are a long distance buyer you barely get the time of day with most dealers. Warren however took the time to work with me through the question process he even went out to the car and took additional pictures of the vehicle to send me so that I would be sure the care had the features I was looking for. He never pressured me at all to make a quick decision or used any scare tactics to push me to buy, instead was very patient with me as I have a lot of reservations since I had never bought a car long distance and worst of all sight unseen. When i was ready to make an offer and negotiate, against he was very patient with me and really worked with me and buffered the usual back and forth between his management and me. The process took several days because the long distance but at the end he got me the price i needed to accept and move forward and close the transaction. Additionally he assisted me with the paperwork related to the financing of the vehicle with my credit union in Florida and personally inspected the car and handle the delivery to the transport company i hired to bring my Durango to Miami. Buying a car in the internet may save you a lot of money but can also be a very stressful and emotionally taxing process. I can't thank Warren and his team enough for helping us through the process, and for keeping all of their promises and most of all for getting us a great deal in our family car. Highly recommend working with this dealer and especially with Warren Woolsey

Came in to purchase a '12 or '13 optima. They low balled me on my trade. Other dealers were offering $1000 more without having to even bring it in, via a quote in email.Warren said to come back the next day as another manager was working the desk and he thought he could get more out of my trade. Glad I decided to call before just showing up as Warren still wasnt able to get a better appraisal for me.Finally 2 days later I called the dealership again for Warren and he basically said they were too far away from their monthly goal to work a deal with me.Later that day I was able to get a better deal at Nick Mayer. Glad I kept shopping.Pros....Close to IKEA for hotdogsCons ..... gave me the run around, didnt return my calls, very unreasonable trade appraisal.

They gave the Ad Car and the Ad Price even though I was several days late and it was not some stripped down old model it was a new 2013 and it was on all they had in stock not jsut the one!!. Scott Purvis was awesome!! We had been searching for a vehicle with a good rebate for days and after dealing with a few other dealerships my husband called Tempe Kia and reached Scott Purvis. First of all, he answered the phone right away, no leaving a message and waiting for a call back! We had been told by another dealer that the vehicle we were looking for didn't exist in the western region. So we were happily surprised to have Scott tell us that not only did they exist but he had one on his lot! We were tired of looking at a vehicles and talking about one price to then find out the price jumped by thousands of dollars once we sat down to talk details at the other dealers. So my husband discussed what we were really going to be looking at for a final price with Scott and he assured us we would not have any surprises. It was an hour before closing at Tempe Kia so I rushed down there and met with Scott. He had the vehicle we were talking about sitting out front ready to go. We took a test drive and it looked like the right vehicle for us. We sat down to talk details and as promised there were no surprises. We had a discrepancy on our part regarding the pay off of our trade in vehicle so we left without purchasing until I could check into the pay off. The next morning Scott called to say he had some good news that he thought would make us very happy. That morning they had gotten a trade from another dealership and it was exactly what we were looking for and was even a little bit cheaper. What car salesman calls and says hey we found another vehicle for less money then we were talking about? Scott called when the vehicle made it to their lot, I went down and again found the vehicle right out front already detailed and ready to go. We took it for a test drive and loved it, we discussed the price etc and made the deal. Scott stayed with us the entire time. He went over every detail of the vehicle and made sure we were completely satisfied. Scott was absolutely wonderful! He listened to us and took the time to make us feel special. He didn't rush off after he made the sale he stayed with us through the final walk through. Scott was amazing!

Have a 2007 Kia Sorrento and from day one have had three major problems with it. Every time I took the car in for service I was told that it was ok. Then the car was recalled for the passenger side airbag and that was fixed. The most serious problem was with the braking system. If you own a 2007 sorrento please get it checked out . The problem is with the Hydraulic Module, if this goes it feels like you are driving on ice and you will have no control of the car when you brake. I would not recommend a Kia to any one they just keep denying everything until it gets recalled.

I recently had my purse stolen along wtih my car keys. I went to the tempe kia dealership to get a couple replacements made. I was borrowing someone elses car to do this since I didn't have keys to my car. I got the copies and went home to try them out. They did not fit. I returned to the dealership the next day to have them corrected. When I tried this second set they also did not fit. So I am returning, to a different dealership, for the third time to get my keys made. The gentlemen who helped me at the tempe dealership was very simpathetic and apologized for the inconvenience. It has been a huge inconvenience and I have not been able to drive my car for three days. I don't know if it was the actual key machine that was faulty or the employees workmanship, but either way the parts department at tempe kia needs to address this problem to avoid further frustration of other customers.

We went there on the 1st of May just to look and ended up buying a new 2012 KIA Forte. When we arrived we were met by Mr.Warren Woolsey and he immediately gave the impression that he was there to serve us and guide us through the purchasing and selection procedure to arrive at our choice. The car was located at another dealership and he immediately got a driver off to pick up that car to return to where we were and while that was happening he proceded to take us through the necessary paperwork with us. When that was done he escorted us to the financial office to complete the paperwork and Warren was making sure that the car was being detailed for delivery correctly and quickly. Finally the car was ready and Warren gave us a final look at and some instructions about this or that feature on the car and then we were on our way home with our new car. We were very happy with the way that Warren treated us in a friendly and professional manner. We would recommend Warren and this dealership to any and all interested in buying a new car. The customer service here at Temp KIA is terrible. I have been in customer service for years and know that if you don't have good customer service at your company then that really gives you a bad name. We purchased a new car and had called in regard to some things and it took a long time for them to get back to us. Also when dealing with Michelle in Fiance we ask her if a message was relayed to her that we called and she said no. Our biggest complaint is that we cancelled our mehanic service contract and that was on 4/6/12. KIA Fiance has yet to see the cancellation. Why does it take so long to get anything done?We love our KIA, but will never buy another KIA from this dealershp.

We went in with a strict budget and recently having gone through bankruptcy. Our car was totalled in an accident and we were not sure we'd be able to replace it with a new one. Just bought my KIA Forte EX last week and I love it! :) I like its overall shape and size and the white pearl exterior color. Today my wife and went into Tempe KIA with our minds made up on a KIA Rio when we got there Scott approached us very kind and curdious with us and showed us the KIA Rio but then he asked if he could show us something else with more room more safety and better price. He showed us the KIA Soul after showing it to us inside and out he then took us a test drive and we fell in love with this car. This car was my third choice when it should had been my first. We then went inside to crunch some numbers and Scott was very nice with the numbers and was able to get us the payment we wanted. He never talked to us like a salesman he talked to us like a person who took what we wanted and made it happen so he talked to us like a person who genuinely wanted to help people and would do all in his power to get you what you wanted. I only wish all car sales men were like Scott if so there would be a lot of cars sold in Arizona. I will be recommending Tempe KIA to all my friends and family just as long as they go see Scott Purvis and only Scott Purvis. And in the future I to will go see and only see Scott Purvis. I want to recommend the Tempe Kia salesman John Nickols to any car customer who is searching for their choice vehicle. I brought a 2012 Kia Rio5 February 20, 2012 and I am so pleased with it that I've put 700 miles on it already and only used two 10 gallon tanks of gas (yeah, drive it right & it'll do better than 40 mpg on the highway and avg. 35 mpg overall with a backseat of grandkids). I've had so much fun driving with this vehicle (large interior, GREAT sound system, fun communication toys) that it took 19 days of (ha, ha, break-in) driving before my wife could rip me away from it long enough to log in and write this. ALAS! Now she's driving it and won't bring it back!Anyway, I digress, now that she's taken it away, I might as well as tell you why John Nickol is the guy you want to show you cars. See, my wife has Rheumatoid Arthritis and COPD. The day we came to Tempe Kia to shop I told John how my wife was suffering and could not walk around the lot. No problem. John listened and knew just what to do. He brought the four vehicles we wanted to check out right over to the handicap parking area for my wife to get into and test out. When we each told him what features and colors we were looking for in a vehicle, he was able to search the (AZ) area and quickly find what we NEEDED and helped us compromise on the color we wanted. (You husbands get my drift?) John made my wife happy and got me the vehicle we needed. No pressure.Oh yeah, we went to other dealers and checked out the competition that weekend, but none of the other salesmen were able to please us kindly and show us a superior vehicle to fit our needs. No other salesman put us at ease and gently helped us through the sales and finacial process. The managers were gentleman and the finacial officer was a real pretty, sweet lady. (But don't tell my wife I wrote that, sssshh.)

I LOVE TEMPE KIA!!! The sterotype of car dealerships are that they are high pressure and that they are an overall bad experience. I can tell you that that is NOT the case here. This is the third car I have purchased from Tempe Kia in the past 7 years and I will not go anywhere else. Justin my salesman was very helpful throughout the process. The sales manager John was also great and he worked with me to get the best deal possible. They encouraged me to shop around elsewhere to find a better price and I can tell you that their initial out the door price on my 2012 Kia Forte SX beat other local Kia dealers. Even after the sale, their service was great. I had to stop in the next day because I had trouble pairing one of my phones to the car and Justin came right out and got it set up for me. He showed me how to do it so that I was comfortable doing it on my own. This was an awesome experience and I am truly happy with my Forte. I have dealt with Tempe Kia several times, twice buying a new car, the other times for parts or service. Never have I been disappointed, and more often, my husband and I have been surprised how much they exceeded our expectations! (I have to put in a plug (no pun) for Bob Springer in the Service Dept. who did a terrific job coordinating work on our 2006 Optima this summer! What a nightmare - crossing county, state, and country lines to document previous work, authorize service, obtain parts and get everything installed in just a few days. He did it with grace, humor, and patience. Many thanks Bob! You should get a bonus. Hint hint big bosses.) My experience this week buying MY new 2012 Kia Optima hybrid from Tempe Kia was another over-the-top excellent experience. Once he'd shown me all the years and models that met my specs available on the lot, Sergai answered all my questions. He answered them right, too, because between my initial "I'm not buying, just accidentally pulled into the lot" visit and my "Oh, come on honey it will just take a few minutes and I want your opinion" visit with my husband, and my third visit to negotiate the final deal, sign paperwork and bring home the new baby, I did some serious hybrid homework. Sergai took the time to make sure I understood the details of a complex new dashboard and operating system. We went through the manuals and checklists (and he didn't rush me or just pro-forma check things off). That's important to me, because I'm going to have to re-explain everything to my husband next week when I get home before I'll let him even get in the driver's seat! While we were negotiating the deal, neither Will nor John wasted my time (or tried my patience) with stupid back and forth that neither of us would have gone for anyway. When the assessment of my much-loved 2001 P.O.S. (sorry, that's text talk) Daewoo Nubira was less than he knew I'd hoped, Will came out to personally explain why the trade value was so low. At that point, he might have asked me to pay to have the dealership take it off my hands and I would have considered doing so. (I wouldn't have done it, but I'd have considered, I have so much faith in these guys!) At closing, I had a pre-authorized loan approval from USAA and we already had arranged the insurance transfer to the new Kia. Just as it was my turn in Finance, several square miles around and including the dealership were hit with back-to-back power outages between 9:30 and 11 pm and we couldn't get all the paperwork printed. John (or Will, I'm not sure who made the decision) allowed me to sign what was printed and take the car home that night. Of course, I had to come back Saturday morning to finish up and get the site draft from USAA. (Darn, now I have payments again). I know he knew where to find me and how to reach me and all the rest, but I thought it was remarkable that a dealer 1) would remain open until nearly 11 on a slow Friday night to finish up, given they were scheduled to be off by 9 pm, and 2) allow me to drive a $30,000+ car off the lot with nothing but MVD paperwork and a verbal ok from the insurance company. Talk about GREAT customer service!There's another reason for my rating Tempe Kia as excellent: USAA provided me with the names of three Valley Kia dealerships they certified. I have a long-standing relationship with USAA and trust their recommendations, so I made an appointment with a guy named Greg Murray at Mark Mitsubishi/Kia in Scottsdale for 2 pm on Friday. Since USAA recommended them, I thought perhaps they would be able to beat Tempe Kia's initial "ballpark" price. I will write a separate review on them, but basically everything (including the Parts and Service Depts) that Tempe does right, Mark Mitsubishi/Kia does absolutely wrong. I intend to write to USAA and suggest they drop Mark Kia as a certified dealer and instead add Tempe Kia. Who knows if they will listen, but I can be persuasive and Mark was awful.

Both Brent and Scott were very friendly, and most importantly, were NOT pushy st sll. Both Brent and Scott did a great job answering questions for us and allowing us to take our time and make a decision on which vehicle we liked the best. We spent quite a bit of time at the lot and wound up being the last customers of the night. Scott helped finish the deal and the financing / purchase paperwork went quickly and smoothly. Overall we were extremely happy with the experience at Tempe Kia and would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle without the pushy typical car buying experience.

First, I'll start by saying that the Kia Optima sells itself. The way it handles and the comfort of driving the Optima is impressive. The combination of its luxurious look and a price that is affordable for many demographic and social classes is second to none. It is really impressive the ability Kia has shown in emerging onto the auto market as a top tier company. Secondly, my opinion that Kia sells itself certainly doesn't disregard the customer service I received. I called and scheduled an appointment to test drive with Scott the day prior and was promptly met outside upon arriving to the dealership. The experience was great... We sat down in the car I was interested in and he proceeded to feed me information about the car. We discussed everything from the specifics of the car to Kia emerging onto the market as a benchmark; and the amount of information and the delivery Scott was able to provide showed his expertise. Expertise comes from dedication, preparation, and proper training... and that's what Kia has clearly done.

Spent a week going to every dealership around looking for a new car for my wife. My friend told me I should go check out the Kia Optima, and I have to admit is was pretty hesitant at first not really knowing what to expect... When I arrived I was greeted by Michael Mullins, and I ready for the typical "hard sale"... Boy was I wrong! Michael immediately targeted my wants and helped me talk through my needs (you could tell right up front Mike wasn't your typical car salesman) Long and funny story short, by the time my wife had showed up I was already head over heels for the Optima SX Turbo and getting ready for a test drive :-) Let me tell you, having driven the Infiniti G35 6spd coupe for 8 years and then leasing a Camry XLS (also a great car) I missed my sports car! Blown away by the luxury of its features and power of it's drive I looked at my wife and said "how about you take the new Camry and I get my luxury sports car back?" With the sign off from "the boss" (my wife) and a LOT of help from Michael and his senior team members Steve and TJ I just drove home in my new state of the art sports car sedan... This past weekend I dealt with two different Kia dealerships, had two memorable experiences that I will gladly share with everyone I know for very different reasons. The experience with the first dealership will be shared to protect family and friends from dishonest business practices. The second experience will be shared to make sure everyone I know wishing to purchase a vehicle is aware this is the only stop they need to make to satisfy their needs. There was not a single unfriendly person in the entire lot, but lets talk about Steve Gallo.I was not going to step a foot on another dealers lot due to the horrible experience I had on Saturday, but thought I would just do a bit of searching online Sunday morning. I began an instant message conversation with Steve regarding what I was looking for and to see if he could locate it for me. I asked very specific questions that I already knew partial answers - I was shocked when Steve answered with what I knew - so I asked a couple more questions and the honest answers continued. I decided I was willing to talk over the phone, again honesty - I let him know exactly what I wanted and he said he would do some searching and get back to me. I received a call back - he had found what I wanted - wasn't going to charge me more for finding it - plus it wasn't the only one available in the western United States - much to my surprise because I had been told that the day before [one of the reasons for the MSRP being $2500 more]. I set up an appointment to make sure the Sorento had everything on it I had stated - if it did, i would be willing to put some money down for Tempe Kia to bring the vehicle to their lot so I could make a decision to purchase or not.We go to our appointment - meet Steve - have a discussion regarding the Sorento and the package I wanted - price-rebates-and everything else....before a decision has even been made - all the details had been laid out -not in chicken scratch, but on a computer printout, that was customer friendly and to the point. Steve went to verify a few items and we stepped outside for a bit - I see a Sorento driving towards me - I had to look several times because it appears to be exactly what I wanted. He is now right in front of me and I am shocked - I am sure he was shocked to I hugged him - this was exactly what I wished to purchase - for the correct price. I was honest and respectful with Steve and he was honest and respectful in return. I would never have dreamt I could say I had a great experience at a dealership - but I did - it was better than great. We will make our next car purchase at this dealership and point our family and friends here too. Steve was amazing and the business practices implemented at Tempe Kia are best practices that leave other dealerships in the dust.

Last year upon receiving an inheritance from my family. I went and purchased a Kia Soul 2011. I was extremely happy with my purchase as I had received excellent customer service from Betty Vance who was then working there. After a year of driving the car, while sitting at a red light on Thomas Rd & 40th in Phoenix, a co-worker rear ended me from behind and the car was totaled. His insurance gave me enough money to purchase a new vehicle so I went back to Tempe Kia. Upon going back to Tempe Kia I found out that Betty Vance wasn't there anymore. Yet I was pleasantly surprised to find Brent Bush there. Brent took care of me from the first step into Tempe Kia, I was very adamant about getting the same thing in the new Kia Soul. I wanted to sunroof and the color (Dune) Cream. Since my purchase last year the car has become amazingly popular and the color DUNE is next to impossible to find. Brent worked with me for 30 days and I was able to settle on the Alien color which is a fresh green with a gold metallic finish. The newer versions have upgraded horsepower from 134 to 164, a kick ass stereo system called UVO, all touch screen with a subwoofer etc. I paid the same as last time and still had some money left from the insurance settlement. Brent Bush and the staff at Tempe Kia are amazing. They take care of you and they don't discriminate based on what you can spend. They treat you with respect and get you the car that is right for you. Michelle Frye in finance was amazing also. She explain the few grand that I was financing front to back, back to front. She really wanted to make sure that I was walking away comfortable with all my questions answered. I will return again in the next 5 to 6 years for another Kia.

The folks at Tempe Kia (also Dodge/Chrysler) cared about much more than just selling us a car. They cared about us as people and provides VERY helpful advice and referrals to other services to help my daughter get restitution in a recent accident. We went in and the car we had spoken about on the phone was pulled up in front . We then went in and got straight to the numbers where we were presented with the best price we had seen all day. Justin followed up the next day and was very patient with us . The Kia Optima is an amazing car and this dealer was the only one I would recommend !!!! Steve and the entire dealership made the buying experience pleasant. They suggested specific vehicles, and applied no pressure at all. I left to think over my decision, and a week later after having made several test drives, we settled on a 'used but new' vehicle which we're pleased with. I went to the dealership to look at/test drive new cars and wasn't planning on buying anything the same day. (I was going to go to several dealerships and look at all of the cars I had been researching online.) I started at Tempe Kia and never ended up going to look anywhere else. I was met by Justin who was very knowlegable and answered all of my questions without hesitation. I never felt like I was dealing with a salesman. No pressure! I loved the Sorento we test drove and realized there was no reason to go anywhere else. The usual tedious, LONG process of figuring out my trade in value, handling the financing and reviewing the contract went so smoothly, it made buying a new car seem easy. When my car eventually needs service, I already anticipate an extremely pleasant experience. Before I left, Justin took me to the service dept. and introduced me to Paula, who was very friendly and welcoming. She explained their process for bringing in my car to make it easy when that day comes. My overall experience with them has been very satisfying! I would definitely recommend them when you need a new vehicle.

First of all, car buying is NOT usually a positive experience! Chad and I were in constant communication via email. We set up an appt. to test drive a few cars. I drove them without hassle, chose one, and had a deal made within 45-60 minutes. Chad and Dave are both extremely "people" friendly and had no hidden agendas. I knew up front what I was getting. The car was not on their lot but worked to find one that met my specifications. I did not have to compromise........... I would definitely refer any and all to Tempe Kia to speak with Dave and Chad!!!! Car buying should not be a chore!! Thanks to Dave/Chad...it wasn't! KUDOS to them both!

They were polite, helpful, and kind. They were really straight forward. They seemed to genuinely care about my wants and needs. They worked very hard to find a car within my budget. Justin was great. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He knew exactly where the cars I was looking for were. He showed me many options of cars which met the guidelines I asked for. Justin actually found me a car below my price range which I appreciated more than anything. And I was able to fall in love with a car within the first minite I was test driving it. The rest of the employees I dealt with were so friendly and helpful. Usually car buying is stressful and overwhelming, but I did not feel that way at all due to the staff and the relaxed atmosphere. Also my car was cleaned quite good before they gave me the keys. Overall I had a great experience.

I walked into Tempe Kia with the intention to just look and drive a Kia Soul. Wade was standing outside but didn't maul me as most dealers do. He let me get out of my car and met me halfway. Everyone at the dealership was great, friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. The only drawback was having to go to the finance/accounting department after signing all the initial papers. I do not feel that anyone should have to wait for the financing. This should have been oompleted beforehand (especially when I requested that Everything be completed and ready ahead of time.) To have to wait 45 minutes after going through the initial paperwork then have to go financing/account is ridiculous and very unprofessional. Other than that, I feel that everything else went well and I want to that John Chavez and Justin Bean especially for taking overand trying to make everything a smooth and easy as possible. The other employees were also very helpful when needed.

Greg Dayley worked extremely hard over a 3 day period to gain my trust and that of my wife. He was extremely honest and went way above the normal I have experienced in the past with other dealerships like Earnheardt and others. He explained in detail the differences in the vehicles we looked at, he broke down the costs in a way that even I could understand. Friday, May 27, 2011 7pm After dinner, we decided to drop by Tempe Kia and look at the 2011 Sportage. We were greeted by saleman, Brent Bush and we discussed what we were looking for. Brent did his best to match us to the vehicle we came to see. However, being near the end of the 2011 season, they had few to choose from. Brent took the time to show us other options in 2011 & 2012 models. He even stayed well past closing time on a Friday night to make sure all our questions were answered and that we got to test drive any vehicle that was of interest to us. We came back Saturday and we struck a deal on our favorite which turned out to be a 2012 Sorento. During our search, Brent offered no sales pressure to put us into something we really didn't want. He just offered information on each vehicle that we test drove to help us make an informed decision. Overall, an exceptionally comfortable experience.

We just bought a beautiful Orange Kia Sportage at MARK KIA and had a top notch experience. We were going to buy at TEMPE KIA but did not because the manager was arrogant, didn't follow through and treated the salesman and us dismissively.We first went to Tempe KIA after researching the orange premium package Sportage we wanted. Along with our salesman, James Lee (who was friendly, helpful and conscientious) we talked to his manager. The manager said he absolutely could get us what we wanted, but he'd have to order it from out of state. He said he'd look for the car we wanted somewhere close to AZ and call us. We did a test drive on a different color Sportage with the options we wanted and liked it. Good to go.The salesman continued working with the mgr to find one they could bring from out of state. We asked the mgr to check in California and Oregon. He said he would. Once the manager found it, the mgr would call us with the price. The next day the mgr called us to say none were available on this side of the country, just in the northeast. They could and would order it for us, but from that far away, the transport would be pricey. Other option was to order from the factory but it was uncertain how long it would take to actually take possession of it. We would have to put down a deposit and wait. We wanted to go ahead and get the car from out of state. The salesman was eager to help us and worked with us for several weeks. The mgr said he would get more info and call us back in the next day or so on the details. A week went by. No call. I called the salesman. The salesman transferred me to the mgr who didn't return two messages. Another week went by. Still no call from the manager. By this time it was almost three weeks. The salesman's superior did not cooperate with his efforts to help us find what we wanted. His manager seemed to think we were not serious buyers. The salesman was in the middle, trying his best. We finally called the salesman and thanked him for his time and effort. explaining that we'd take our business elsewhere because the manager was unprofessional and disrespectful to both us and to the salesman. The salesman seemed sincerely embarrassed and apologetic. We felt badly for him. Our TEMPE KIA salesman was conscientious and helpful but his superior was not. The manager treated us and their salesman dismissively, and was very arrogant. The manager misled us (I could use a stronger word) about the availability of the car we wanted. We wasted three weeks. Bottom line NO TEAMWORK at TEMPE KIA. Sale lost. TEMPE KIA obviously wanted to sell us what we didn't want from their lot, while stringing us along about what we did want, to wear us down. It was unfair to us, and to their salesman who worked so hard to try to get us what we wanted. The next day we called MARK KIA after hearing and reading good things. Told them what we wanted. They checked immediately. Tuned out the car we wanted WAS available in Oregon. We made an appt to meet with them the next day. At MARK KIA our salesman was terrific as were all who were involved. At MARK KIA they worked as a unified team. That night we bought the car at a fair price. It arrived a week later from Oregon. We couldn't be happier.

I went in for an oil change at a car oil/brake franchise and was told that I needed new brakes on my Kia immediately, in addition to a few other emergency and costly repairs. Though the salesperson advised that I not leave the shop without all of the repairs, I spoke to a family member who is a mechanic who told me that I should leave the shop and get a second opinion. I went to a second shop where I was told that I should get new brakes. In addition, that shop told me that one of my rear wheel cylinders was leaking brake fluid and I needed to get that repaired immediately. Again, the second shop recommended that I get a few other costly repairs as well as fix the rear wheel cylinder that day. Again, I called my family member who told me to go somewhere else after I described what they had told me. Though I thought a dealership service center would be more expensive, I decided to call Tempe Kia to figure out what was really wrong - if anything - with my Kia. The folks in the service department were very considerate, patient, and helpful in explaining complex car issues in layperson terms. The shop manager told me he had never heard of a rear wheel cylinder leaking on my type of Kia. Also, when I told him about a few other repairs that the shops recommended, he told me that my Kia didn't even have several of those parts on it. When I took my car in the following day for an appointment, the service center was quick and efficient in looking at my car and making a few recommendations. In particular, the manager took quite a bit of time to sit down with me to explain exactly what maintenance should be done on my car (no new brake pads, brakes, or new rear wheel cylinders were needed), what could wait and how long it could wait, and what didn't need to be done. I had conducted some local price research by calling around to shops in the Phoenix area about the recommended maintenance, and I was surprised to find out that Tempe Kia was on the low end of estimates. I had them do the minor, fairly inexpensive maintenance recommended for a Kia with my mileage, and walked out of the shop with a car that has never run better and feeling like I had finally been treated with respect and honestly - something that I have rarely felt at car service centers as a woman. I couldn't be happier with the all around service experience at Tempe Kia and would highly recommend the shop to others.

I originally went into Kia to look at another random car that wasn't even a Kia. Greg showed me the Optima and I was in love. I worked with the fleet department and they were very friendly, nice and not pushy what so ever. I have been to this Kia dealer a couple of times as this was my first new car that I was going to buy (please note was going to buy). I had originally thought that it was a fair price, but I wanted to do a little more shopping around. I then received an email about a new special they had so my wife and I came in; we then agreed that we would buy at the original price from the first meeting on our new car (we wanted a specific color and the special did not include that color) so the sales manager assured me that it was the same price and he was even going to toss in 50 bucks for the cargo cover since they could not include it in the sale. The next day we get to the dealership to sign papers (just a side note they completely screwed up the documents regarding financing that cost us an additional 2 hours to fix). Since I had not seen our original offer letter I had asked them from the time that we got there to see, but they kept on saying ohh in a little bit or the finance guy has it. As we were getting prepared to sign I said that I needed to see this, first the finance person played the game again and shuffled papers and provided us with everything except what I had asked for. I told him that I needed to see the first offer and he reached right in the folder and pulled it out. I told them this was not what I had agreed to; and that I wanted what I had originally discussed. The sales rep and manager said well.... and I said you know what; I want to do business with someone that is not going to play games or do this shuffle bull crap. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone; when youre paying that much for a car who has time for games, let alone upping the price? DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER; you will waste your time and efforts!!!!!!!!! Honestly in this day and age do people really think that the consumer does not have rights, or that they can play I am a sales person so I should not be informed? My advice; Get informed; do business with those that are- This place is neither! Ohh just as an FYI they were off on the price by just over 116.00; yes I said it a hundred dollars I know that it is not much but at the same time they were not willing to rectify the situation. I have ethics so I chose to take my business elsewhere.

Amazing... less then two hours and out with a brand new kia. I had really bad credit and even they were sooooo fast and helpful. So if you are trying to not have a traditional bad car shopping experience they are the place to go! NOT MARK KIA!!!!!!! they were so bad I escaped... check out that review

What a great experience this was, no pressure Jon my salesman was incredibly awesome. I was able to find my 2008 Kia Sorento at an affordable price and received fair market trade for my 2007 Kia Rio. Visited dealership on Sunday, 4/29, interested in two vehicles. Spent a great deal of time with the usual games and "if we make the numbers work, will you buy our car today?" Our trade in was the key factor, never mind the KBB and Edmunds guidelines for it's value, Tempe Kia was thousands under the value...instead, auction printouts were presented to show to us in the attempt to show how little our car was worth. Left dealership believing we'd been given bottom line price on one of the two cars we liked; upon arriving home, found internet pricing was $2,500 lower. Phone calls to dealership yesterday were not productive; long hold times, no attempt to compromise. I made it clear that we would buy their car if the figures were closer to reality. Left message for general manager Mike Breysogle, not even the courtesy of a return car. The usual corrupt, demeaning car dealership mentality. Management chose not to sell a car and gain a satisfied customer. Thank goodness we do not need to buy groceries the same way we buy cars. I give this dealership a -1 as for customer satisfactin.
