Overall not too bad. Was disappointed in the way my car was cleaned. Bought a used vehicle and it took them 3 hours to get it ready. Climbed in the vehicle and in the crevices an such, still had crumbs that they did not take the time to get to.

When I brought my 2015 Silverado crew cab, I had a few paint scrapes, no big dead or so I thought. I live 100 miles away from this dealership and after 5 times down to the dealership I still don't have my paint done. The last time I went in I was going to get my paint done. I also told the service department that when I drove at night my headlights, both hi and low were very deem. So after half a day they came and got me. The first thing I was told that my paint did not look right to them and as far as my light problem, I was told it was to bright outside. But if I would Waite until my next oil change, I could bring it in and they would fix my paint. They said that my oil change would be free. Well after hundreds of miles and lots of gas, I get a free oil change. All I can say, is that oil must coast a arm and a leg. As for my lights, I'll use another dealership.

Gerard Sims is a great person to buy a car from. I asked him to "keep an eye out" for a particular type of small SUV for my teenage daughter and within 1 week, he found the absolute perfect vehicle for her and I bought it. He had the paperwork done and we left with the car within the hour. I ran into a couple of minor issues after purchasing but their Service Department handled it like pros and had the car was repaired and returned to me quickly. Terry Thompson has the best overall experience in the Mobile / Baldwin county area. Anytime I stopped in to speak to my previous sales person while having a service done on my vehicle and ended up leaving with a new vehicle, should tell you how easy it is to do business with Terry Thompson. Karl treated me fairly and we worked out a deal that was satisfactory. The car was not detailed too my satisfaction inside widows were very cloudy. I was told the rear seat head rest could be removed but there is no button I could find. The car drives wonderful. I wish the steering wheel came down lower. Overall the experience was great. Took a brand new Colorado (purchased at a different dealership who gave me a better price) to Terry Thompson because of a blemish in the paint under the protective film over the rear wheel well on Tuesday. The service advisor (Greg) told me to bring it back on Thursday because their paint guy only worked Thursday and Friday. I brought it in this morning (July 2) only to be told by a different service advisor that the paint guy (Terry Thompson doesn't have a body shop) only works Friday and wouldn't be in this week due to the holiday. The Service Manager (Jason) told me I would have to take it to a Chevrolet Dealership with a body shop to get the work done under warranty. The nearest one is either Sandy Sansing in Pensacola or Bay in Mobile (either way about 45 minutes from the house). I called and spoke with the Service Manager at Sandy Sansing who recommended I contact Southern in Foley. I did and scheduled a service visit with them for Monday morning. Now bear in mind that Southern doesn't have a body shop either, but was more than willing to address the issue. THAT is customer service. Telling someone to go to another dealer is NOT. I am less than impressed with the treatment I received from Terry Thompson and even though they are significantly closer to my home than Southern, they will most definitely NOT be receiving my business in the future. For crying out loud....if you're the SERVICE manager....look up the definition of the word Service.

This Chevrolet dealer ship should be the bench mark all other dealership what to achieve. Terry Thompson has maintained both my 2005 Trailblazer and 2007 Silverado since I purchased them new, even though I did not purchase either vehicle from Terry Thompson.I tried the dealership that sold the vehicles and had numerous problems getting issues resolved. I kind of stumbled on Terry Thompson and have been a repeat customer of their service department since early 2006. I have found that the cost of maintenance is in line with locally owned independent repair shops. The big difference is that when I pick up the vehicle after servicing its fixed and ready to go. They don't believe in simply changing parts, they have the expertise and equipment to identify the problem and correct it.The entire staff, from service personnel to sales and front office staff are the best. They are focused on the customer and their satisfaction.

This is the first time Terry Thompson Chevrolet has disappointed me and I have had many vehicles in for repair. I delivered my 2003 350 pick up to the dealership four weeks ago. Everyone was clear on what was to be done and the parts were on hand. I left the country with my schedule clear to all personell at service only to return to find my truck untouched. At that time everybody was chasing and dashing because the truck had to go back into service on this Saturday. The primary reason for the repair, to replace a rear transmission housing, was left undone. Don't think anyone was paying attention!

Service Department did not have loaner car ready! Never call to tell me when one would be ready. After saying they would! Called them back and was told we would not be getting a loaner. They lied about when vehicle was being worked on.After spending $60,000.00 on a vehicle that broke down before 3000 miles and had a recall on it. You would think that at least Terry Thompsons employees would know what the word SERVICE means.The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.

I have now purchased my second equinox from T-Thompson. I enjoyed everything about my buying experience. Marty and Margo were terrific the first time I purchased a vehicle and I was not disappointed the second time I purchased a vehicle. Will never go to Terry Thompson for service again! Nor will I or anyone else in my family ever send people that way. Conflict of interest when the mechanic is the service writer's husband. Items stolen from vehicle. And wouldn't wish Jason, the service manager, on my worst enemy. Basically was called a liar and implied we took the items ourselves. Never again!

On Saturday, my wife and I visited Terry Thomson Chevrolet in Daphne to try to buy a Chevrolet Traverse. On the price negotiations we requested to see if we could talk to the sales manager since we did not understand why Terry Thomson could not meet the price or close to the price we had obtained from the Chevrolet website. We were offered a car with less features than what we had on paper and for a higher price. At the moment, we were sitting and I sincerely believe that that we addressed everyone with respect and courtesy. When Mr. Clay Borg arrived, he placed his foot on the table while talking to me and my wife. It calls my attention that this position is very uncomfortable to sustain during a conversation but I believe that Mr. Borg was trying to make a point. I quickly realized that I could not talked to Mr. Borg since he was not interested on what I had to say. I understand he is a busy man and I might have been taking him away of his duties but I feel that we did not deserved a sarcastic statement telling me that I had worked the system or wasted their time. Mr. Clay Borg was very rude and never allow me to explain my concerns with his proposal so that he could explain if he could meet my requirements. Mr. Borg also fail to understand that I wanted to buy a car from Terry Thompson since we had had a very good experience the last time we bought a car at this location. I was very clear to all that if I did not feel comfortable with the price, my intentions were to wait and build a larger down payment and still buy the car from Terry Thomson. This is the closest Chevrolet dealership to my house and your maintenance department is great.After careful consideration we decided that the foot on the desk deal from your sales manager is more than what we would accept from someone we are trying to do business with. We will go ahead and try our luck on the internet and evaluate if it is worth buying from Terry Thompson Chevrolet (Who I do not blame for the actions of this individual).Jose N.Spanish Fort, AL

Purchasing a new vehicle to me has been in the past very frustrating and unnerving. Mike Doane, Salesman, found the truck we wanted and at a price that we could afford. He put us at ease and explained everything we needed and wanted to know about the truck and the pricing. I was dreading the whole car buying experience especially because I had to go without my husband. We had done our homework and I knew what I wanted and we knew what we wanted to pay. We have both been in the car business so we were expecting the games and the drawn out negotiations, etc. My experience was nothing like that! I got a phone call from Mike D. as I had checked out the car I wanted on true car and he had that car as well as a couple of other ones ready to drive and discuss options available. Mike was very friendly and honest, not at all what I expected from a car salesman. We didn't need to negotiate, he was able to get the car very close to the price we wanted and I walked away with a brand new 2013 Chevy Cruze! The exact car I had been eying for what seemed like forever. Thank you Mike! We will be back to get my daughter's car and we will be recommending you to and Terry Thompson Chevrolet to others!

Mr. Rowe was extremely friendly, courteous, and professional. He went over all the features of the car, asked if we had any questions. He answered the few that we asked and it was evident that he is very knowledgeable about the cars that he sells. He worked with us and was respectful of our time and helped us to obtain the best deal from all the cars and dealers that we considered. He was not "pushy" and was very patient with us even though we came in fairly late on a Saturday afternoon. Several hours later than we told him to expect us.

I would have given five stars, but I mean, really, does anyone "love" a used car buying experience? Having said that, I can't imagine a much better situation. Max, our salesman, was very low pressure, friendly and helpful. He made my wife and me feel comfortable and fairly treated. Though Max didn't know a lot about the used Mini we bought, he was quick to get any information we requested and was patient and responsive in dealing with our queries. Although our offer wasn't accepted, the sales response was respectful and reasonable, and we ended up buying the car anyway. The business side was a bit officious, but we had a very nice follow-up from the manager the next day. We are enjoying the car and are glad we could support a local business and not take a financial beating. One of many good reasons for shopping locally is that the vendor has a reputation to maintain and a commitment to keeping the customer happy. So far so good. I hope this continues as we develop an ongoing relationship.

I was looking for a 4x4 Tahoe. I had been unable to locate one. Mike Doane, believe that is his last name, was very helpful in keeping me posted on emails until he located me one. It was not the color I wanted, but it was very clean and looked nice. When I showed up to talk to Mike he was busy with another customer, he quickly found us another sales man, which was William. My wife and I had an enjoyable time there. Mike was from the area my wife us from. The only bad experience, we had and I want blame Terry Thompson was my trade in. I had a lot of money in it, with recent repairs and lifting the truck and the big tires. I was unable to get anything close to what I wanted for it. I understand they have to sell it, just hated to give it up for that. Again, I understood.

Really, bought my 1st Harley at Terry Thompson Chevrolet. Actually it was traded in on a vehicle. I got a phone call asking if I knew anyone interested in a Harley. My reply was "yes, I am". I rode over to look at the Harley and bought it on the spot. My salesman (Max Sanders) also has a Harley, and was very helpful by answering questions I had. The motorcycle had a dead battery and they replaced it with a new one. The mechanic that replaced the battery knew a lot about motorcycles. He also answered questions I had. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Everyone I came in contact with were very friendly. Also the newly remodeled dealership looks great.

Mike Doane with Terry Thompson Chevrolet made my buying experience stressless. I am a USAA member and traveled from the New Orleans area to purchase a 2013 Chevy Silverado 2500HD LTZ from him. My purchase began with emails and phone calls with Mike. My husband and I told him what we were looking for in a truck, he asked very specific questions and then found our truck immediately. He had our truck transported in, cleaned and detailed and ready for pick up once I arrived. No waiting! Whew! As I signed the finance papers there was an issue with a rebate and he problem solved on the spot and we came to a quick resolution. He is a true professional. I usually deal with Max Sanders here, but he was on vacation and Mike Doane assisted me and was very helpful. I work offshore and was on the boat and we did everything via telephone and email and it was GREAT!! All my wife had to do was go in and sign the paperwork. I added some accessories to the vehicle and they said it would take a couple of days to get it ready and since they had already used her 2010 Avalanche as a trade in, they put loaned her a 2013 Silverado 1500 until hers was ready so she could get used to the bigger truck. We purchased a 2013 Silverado 1500 1LT with the All-Star Package on it because our Avalanche would not pull our 30' travel trailer safely. I was looking at a Silverado 2500HD, but Mike informed me that it was a beast and did not get as good gas mileage as the Silverado 1500LT would. He also informed me that the Silverado would do the job and it would cost me quite a bit of money less. On a scale of 1-10, I definately give Terry Thompson Chevy, Mike Doane and the rest of the staff at the dealership a 10+ rating and highly recommend them to everyone. In response to "good" on overall experience and price I feel Nick could have been more tactful in giving me some privacy to make a personal call. I went outside to call. I also felt him to be somewhat aggressive.I definitely did not like him making a suggesting to write "completely satisfied" on the survey. He suggested this twice to me. I am writing my honest opinion with no disrespect for Nick.I could have done better for myself with the other dealer because I really did not want a sunroof or tow package, but they misquoted me over the phone by forgetting to subtract the $1000. rebate. The helpful and nonpressure approach taken by Nick and Bryan was second to none. They both took their time to answer all questions and did not mind exeplaining in detail the answers to any question. They made you feel from the very beginning that they would want you to be a return customer some day. I enjoyed how Bryan suggested things that we might want to consider about the maintinance program for the vehicle. It's standard procedure when a car buyer finishes with the sales portion of the buying process the buyer is then handed off to the closure person, who in most cases at a dealership is the finiance processer or accounting person. In my case it was with Mr. Bryan Mott. I don't mind saying at sixty years old I have purchased many cars and finianced many things, but never have I have the pleasure of being with an accountant that takes the time to teach you the really best way to finance an item so the buyer comes out on top. Well, that is just what Bryan did for me and my wife and I can say that this is the first time in finiancing that I feel like I am the winner. Bryan is a great team player for your company and in the world of fighting the compatition in the area of sales and keeping return business a great combat multiplier for your dealership. Everyone that we dealt with from the Salesman to Financing were helpful and seem to go out of their way to make sure that we were pleased with our purchase. Car shopping is one thing that I always dread but this purchase went so smoothly, it really was a pleasant experience. We knew the make and model we wanted. Mike at Terry Thompson Chevrolet helped us select the vehicle that had the options we were also looking for. While not pressuring us, he helped us to opt for a different seating arrangement than we had first sought. This works much better than we had thought. They even improved our financing setup. I highly recommend this dealership.

I have bought 4 new trucks from Terry Thompson. All from Max Sanders. My father had bought 4 new trucks from Terry Thompson dating back to the time they were known as Bill Steber Chevrolet. I am very pleased with all my purchases, especially the price. I looked at vehicles at other dealers but they could not beat Terry Thompson's price. Their service and parts departments are first rate in my opinion. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I had moved since my third purchase but drove the 200 miles to buy my forth truck. That should tell you something about my reason for coming back to Terry Thompson.

Dealing with the Sales Team at Thompson was a pleasurable experience. The salesman (Gene) was friendly and prepared. I called regarding a car, and he told me where to meet him and had the car in clean-up when I arrived. The negotiations were quick and no uneccesary add-on. Down-home, no pressure. The dealership building is undergoing a renovation at this time to improve its service facility.

If buying at this dealership go to any salesman other than Gene Phillips!!! He was awful from the start. We took the car for a test drive and he asked my husband are you serious about the car or "are you having me do this for nothing". That was just the beginning of his rudeness, he has no kind social skills at all. Almost didn't buy from this dealership because our salesman was so pushy and acted like we didn't know anything. ALL the other help we had was GREAT. Steve did our financing and did a great job and was friendly. I wish we had a better salesman I spent more time talking to Max Sanders (another salesman) than I did our own salesman.

We had a wonderful buying experience. Everyone was so friendly.But our sales lady Margot....well...you couldn't have wanted a better representative for the dealership. She greeted us with a smile..was soooo friendly and very helpful. She saw to our every need. We couldn't of gotten better service anywhere else. I came in the Terry Thompson dealership back in January looking at new cars , was not quite ready to buy yet but Margot helped me find what I was interested in . I told her that when I was I ready to buy I would come back and see her . Margot did keep in touch with me through email but did not harass me with phone calls all day long every day as some other salesmen had done . I called her one Saturday in Feb and told her that my husband and I was on our way to see her , she had the car that I was interested in sitting at the door ready for me to look at again and within a short time we were driving away in it . The finance officer Bryan was also helpful and friendly and made the process as painless as possible .

They were the only dealer that responded to my inquiries with an actual price, which was actually quite low. Didn't really want to play price games and didn't have to. Even with the discounts, still received a good interest rate.

Quick, easy, fair describes my experience. They are USAA certified and honor all incentives. I recently purchased a vehicle with numerous additions and saved quite a bit of money because of this. Steve in finance was a wiz to work with and offered a very low 1. 5 interest rate. Ms Jennifer Allen was the best to work with on the lot. Her 6 years and running quality awards were presented to her for a reason. Furthermore her 19 years in business really shows making the process as simple as possible!

I purposely contacted Mike Doane at Terry Thompson when I began looking for this car because my previous purchase with them went so well. Again, great buying experience! Mike Doane was awesome as usual. Mike is the first guy I will call for any future purchase, he is an enormous asset and SUPER knowledgable about the Chevrolet product. Steve in Finance was also a great guy, really informative, helpful and sincere. There are five or more Chevy dealerships that are far closer to me then Daphne's Terry Thompson. I make the drive because I like the no BS atmosphere, I like Mike Doane, and the service Terry Thompson Chevrolet provides.

They were truly professional, it was a very serious problem. Michelle Lewis, service manager explained everthing the way a 70 yr. old lady could understand it. They seemed to be very concerned abt. me and my problem. They came and picked me up and took me to the rental car company and made sure I was satisfied with rental car. I had this car for well over a week. I was able to return to the dealarship and they took me down to the rental agency. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALIVE AND WELL AT TERRY THOMPSON CHEVROLET......and I appreciate it.
