Easy to book appointments for oil changes. Generally they are quick and thorough. This time they sent me the inspection report with recommendations by text. I replied back to go ahead with with one of the extra services. They called in less than an hour that it was ready. When I got to the dealership, they had not performed the extra service. They did go ahead and do it, but I had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Was hoping for a small “courtesy credit” of some kind, wasn’t offered. Hoping this was one time occurrence.

Checked in quickly and well. Work was completed thoroughly and timely. Update on 6/8/21 Took my car in for a scheduled oil change yesterday. Arrived at my appointment time of 10:30. The oil change was finally done at 12:30. 2 hours is way too long for an appointment for an oil change. Had to drop from 5 stars to 3, actually thought about 2.

Drove from Cincinnati to Indy for my purchase. Logan was my sales person. He went above and beyond to make my experience worth the drive. He answered all my questions and was extremely patient. Went to Tom Wood Honda for my first brand new car buy and I was so happy I did. I was unsure, nervous, indecisive and a million other things. I was doing this alone with no real idea of how to go about this. I had previously spoke with two other places, one in Lafayette and the other in Indy. They were both rude to me and one I was literally supposed to just go sign and pick my car up. I had gotten that far, but the attitude of the salesman was unreal. They didn't want to help me in any way. I ended up calling Tom Wood Honda and spoke with Aaron Cooper on Saturday, it was 2 quick calls, then picked up my car on Monday after work. I did everything over the phone and just signed papers when I went to pick up my car. I found out that I was being lied to and bamboozled from the other places. Aaron and the staff at Tom Wood Honda in Anderson was so kind, patient, down to earth, no pressure, no frustration from them even with me asking for a few different prices and changing my mind 10 times! Lol my sister also goes here and she's had 3 new cars from them and has loved every encounter she's ever had with this staff. I am so glad I decided to call here. I promise you won't be disappointed. I got a great deal on a beautiful brand new 2021 Honda Accord Sport SE. I'm so happy! Thank you Aaron and The folks at Tom Wood Honda.

Got a great vehicle, which was well cared for by the dealer. Great sales staff and good service. But beware the buying process, they will sneak in gap insurance in the shuffle. The price jumped dramatically between the negotiation and the actual purchase. The salesman and I had calculated roughly what my price out the door would be. When presented the paperwork by the finance guy, there was such a dramatic difference in price, and I was told it was fees from my state. Did my homework the next day and discovered the culprit was actually gap insurance. Trying to get it cancelled after the fact was like trying to borrow money from an ex-girlfriend.

I could tell that he really knows his stuff and takes pride in selling Hondas, patiently answering every question I asked even the most specific. My boyfriend and I just purchase a car at this location yesterday. We had been looking around for quite some time and were starting to get frustrated. However upon walking into this dealership the first thing I noticed was the atmosphere. It was happy, upbeat, noisy, and everyone was genuinely smiling. They sat and listened to our crazy requests they never once tried to push us in a direction other than what we looking at. When we thought all was lost and we were going to just have to settle for something they were able to put us in a wonderful car for less than what our maximum budget was. When we left there we felt more like friend than customers. We will definitely be making all our purchases at this location from now on.

Went in thinking I was just going to talk and see what I could see about a older jeep and by the end of my time there I walked out with a 2015 Chevy. The people were so nice and fast. A friend of mine recommended that I talk to Zach Logan about buying a car when mine broke down and was no longer drivable. We had an amazing experience with Zach Logan and the rest of the team at Tom Wood Honda. We drove from 2.5 hours away to look at a Honda Odyssey. We called prior to leaving town and Zach was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable right from the start. When we arrived, Zach and the manager came up and made us feel welcome. Zach was very upfront and we didn't feel pressured at all. We had secured financing from our bank and they were closed, but we were still able to close the deal that night. They detailed the Odyssey and delivered it to our house 2.5 hours away free of charge. I would recommend anyone to Zach Logan and Tom Wood Honda for an enjoyable car buying experience.

I bought a 2014 Acura MDX on 03/23/2016. Most of the deal was made via internet and text, as I was an out of state buyer(Ohio). My first problem occurred with being sent the improper paperwork, rejected by the Ohio BMV, to title the vehicle in Ohio, of which I didn't receive until 04/11/2016. It took another 3-4 days to receive the proper paperwork. Made another trip to the BMV, and was told I had to pay additional sales tax, as Indiana's used car sales tax rate is 7%, and Ohio's is 7.75%. The completed Ohio Certificate of Title application, sent to me by the dealer, was used to determine my sales tax credit(amount of sales tax paid in Indiana), and I was to pay the difference of the rate in Ohio. In the end, this application also had incorrect amounts, and I ended up over paying a considerable amount. I directed to a Kevin by the dealership to make correction, never heard from him, after several left messages. I then sent an email to 4-5 differrent managers and staff. I was contacted by a Zach, after a circle conversation, he stated he would look futher into this, and get back to me, never heard back from him either. Luckily, I have legal aid through my job, and I am forwarding incorrect paperwork to both Ohio/Indiana BMV(s). My experience with this dealership has been very subpar.

After I bought a car from here I took it to my mechanic to have him look it over and he found many things wrong with this car. so I called the dealership back to talk to them about all of this and they will not return my calls I have left voicemails and talked to the sales guy once and he told me he would get back with me after he talked to the manager and I have vet to hear from anyone and its been a few weeks now. I have tried calling after the first attempt which is when I talked to the sales guy. I am not happy and will not return .

Who sells you a new vehicle with 1 key and even a spare key and zero key fobs. And the manager pretty much told me he couldn't do anything for me. The manager asked me if I wanted to return the truck since he couldn't send me a spare key and two key fobs. Which he knew I lived 4hrs away. The sales man told me to go buy the key fobs and spare key and send him the receipts and he would send me a check. Yup that never happened.

I walked in and was greeted right away by Joe Price..I told him what I was looking for and took a credit application...he went and talked to someone and brought up a 2014 Nissan Sentra..I didn't come in looking for a car but Joe said that I was approved for it..He explained how the system worked and I was happy with what he said..I drove the car and loved it..I had trouble with insurance but eventually got it worked out..Joe did everything he could to make my experience great..The people in finance went above and beyond to get me financed...I drove the car home and love it..I would recommend this place to anyone.. I don't often write reviews. But the service here richly deserves a review, so here we go:We were looking to buy a cheap but reliable used minivan as a second vehicle back at the end of June and thought we'd found a hidden gem at a little small dealer - seemed to run great, fantastic price. Fools rush in, as they say - We bought it, paid cash, and the van broke down within 30 days of purchase. No problem, we got it a tune up and it seemed fine again, but then it broke down on us again the next day, turned out the computer was bad.Fast forward a few months and we decided to go ahead and sell the lemon of a van we had bought for whatever we could get out of it (lost 1800 on the deal once you figure in the repairs we put into it) and go looking again. Like most people we started researching online and found a variety of vehicles in our price range. Ended up deciding to come out to Anderson and check out some vehicles here at Tom Wood Honda. Zach Watters was our salesman, and he was possibly the best salesman I've ever dealt with at any dealer anywhere in the country. For that matter, this is the best treatment we've ever gotten from any dealership I've ever even looked at a car at, anywhere in the country.We were initially interested in an inexpensive low-end 2006 Dodge Caravan, but after driving it decided we wanted to look up a little higher in features, but we didn't want to spend a fortune on a vehicle we intend to drive only when necessary (our main car gets 40 mpg, so the van is for driving at-need). Looked at an '06 Odyssey, which was really nice but a little out of the price range we'd set for ourselves. We left as it was getting late, but came back and looked at a somewhat nicer '06 Caravan (I know, who buys a Dodge from a Honda dealer? Apparently us). Anyway, we had explained what happened with our previous vehicle purchase and asked them to allow us to take it to our mechanic before finalizing the sale, and they very graciously agreed, even allowing us to write into our contract the right to return the vehicle for a full refund if our mechanic found any major problems.Before they would allow us to take the vehicle home, they ran it through their service where they replaced the front brakes and the radiator, among other things that I don't recall offhand. You read that right - they did major mechanical work on a $5500ish price point vehicle before selling it to us. I think the total repair bill was about $1500.When we came in to pick it up, they brought in the service manager AND the general manager of the dealership to talk to us and let us know we can count on them if anything goes wrong.So we took it to our mechanic to have it inspected and he found a couple of minor maintenance issues that would be expected in an older vehicle, along with a small leak in the oil pan. Called Zach back, and he checked with his people and they told us to bring it in and let them look at it again, and they ended up pulling the oil pan off and re-sealing it for us. Note this is *after* we had bought the van. This would be excellent service if we were buying a brand-new $50,000+ vehicle. In my experience most salesmen/dealerships look at people like us who buy less... pricey... vehicles as not really being worth their time, but I never even got a hint of that impression here. We were treated just as well as if we were buying a Lamborghini. I won't say I'll never go to another dealer again, as that will always be dependent on where I'm living at any given time and what the available inventory is, but I can say that so long as I'm close enough to make the drive reasonable, this will be the first place I look, and I'll be recommending them to others as well.Shout out to Zach Watters (our salesman), Kyle Coleman (Sales Manager), KC Waterbury the GM and CJ Wahl (Service director) for making this the best car buying experience I've ever had, bar none.

It all started with a innocent test drive at 7 PM.It went down hill from there.. We told them about items that needed repaired the sales man told me I needed to tell Kevin the "new" finance guy about repairs and we wanted side steps put on because of height issues. They said yes to all repairs and side steps that night... My wife signed papers at 6.49% for 60 months that night and we went home with truck that night well first thing the next day they called back to tell us income to debt ratio was wrong and they had to extend payments 6 more months. So my wife calls lender and explains what happened and the lender said we offered you 3.9% not 6.49%...huh...so my wife calls Kevin back and asks what's up with that and he lies to her and says ohh that's a different lender....huh...so she goes back to sign papers for 3.9% for 60 months and they rush her through and doesn't get repairs and sidesteps in writing. So I go back Monday to get repairs done and no one there knows nothing about it after I sat there for awhile salesmen show up around 9am then the sales manager acts like he knows nothing about it. But he agrees to fix half of it until salesman comes back from vacation I say OK well on Friday I go to that truck and mysteriously they said we will fix it all... Well I found out later my wife gave them a bad customer service survey. Also the service department guy plays the avoidance game by saying over and over " I'm not sure sir" and "I don't know anything about that sir" that is super frustrating

Once agreed to vehicle, price, etc., they will not call you back. You have to call them. If it is end of month they want you to stay (after 10pm in my case) to do paperwork. The GM and some of his staff were awful to deal with. I recommend never meet the GM. I gave them an unsatisfactory score on a survey item and the GM was pissed. He was rude and insolent to me. He will lash out at you if you cross him.

I bought a truck from them that had been wrecked twice. I asked for car fax during the deal and it was never shown to me. If I had know this, I would not of bought it. Then they say they wanted to make things right and send me to their auto body guy. But when I get the quote, they only want to pay half of the estimate.As big as tom wood is, they should not of even had this quality of truck on their lot. All they do is go to auctions and buy trucks without fixing a thing on them. I would never do business with these guys.

If it was for Joe Price stopping us in the parking lot while we were looking at their used cars and talking us into coming inside to talk about our options, I would have never knew that leasing was an affordable option! Unfortunately at the time we decided not to purchase a lease at that time because there was a lot of information and other factors that we needed to consider before choosing to lease. We did go elsewhere and test drove other cars during that time and weighed our options but Tom Wood Honda just couldn't be beat! We spent all morning test driving at different dealerships and save Tom Wood Honda for last. By the time we showed up we honestly were not in the greatest of moods because we had been pushed into cars we really didn't want and dealt with horrible customer service with the other dealerships, but the moment we stepped into Tom Wood Honda we got a greeting we were not prepared for. The employees we had dealt with months before remembered us and directed us to another sells rep to help us because Joe had another customer at the time. Let me tell you though, the other sell rep Zach Watters was amazing!!! He was super excited and enthusiastic about us being their and he worked real hard on getting the deal that we needed to all us to lease a car that day!! He was so much fun to work with!!! He answered all of our questions and even stay 2 hours after closing with us to make sure everything went smoothly! He was just a big ball of energy that just made the time spent their enjoyable and fun. He constantly had us laughing and checking out the new features that came out with the new year!!! K.C one of the managers stuck it out with us from day 1 and answered our questions and helped us get an amazing deal!!! I don't like having to wheel and deal for a new car. I always feel like you spend hours and hours at the dealership and then, once you make the decision to buy, you're there for a few more hours waiting on paperwork. That was not the case this time! Tom Wood was amazing!! My entire deal was brokered via text message from the comfort of my couch. Once we made the decision, we hopped in the car, the papers were ready and waiting, we signed on the line, and we were done! This dealership even stayed open past their regular business hours to accommodate us, as we had no idea they closed at 6:00 and didn't arrive until 6:30!! But here's the kicker, the guys at Tom Wood were so nice and personable, that I almost wish we had been there all day! Travis, our sales guy, was straightforward and very professional. No beating around the bush, no hidden dealer fees, no lip service. Tom Wood Honda may be a small dealership, but that's WHY they are so amazing - Excellent customer service. We had 3 other dealers willing to give us the same price as Tom Wood, so how does one choose? Well, you have to beat the price, not meet it. But that didn't even matter since all the other things that Tom Wood gave us would not make up for a dollar or two less in the monthly payment. First, they gave us one free car wash per week for the entire ownership of our vehicle. Second, they put all weather floor mats in the car (especially a big deal since we bought a minivan - huge amount of space to cover with mats). Third, we received a $250 Amazon gift card (Black Friday special). Last, the deal they were giving us was already AMAZING without all those extras. I told Honda of Fishers they would have to do way better than meet the price for all those reasons. Clearly, Tom Wood is heads and tails above the rest! If you are looking to buy new or used, please don't rule these guys out due to size or distance. Beside, they have a brand new, huge, gorgeous facility opening in March right off exit 226 on I-69. Much closer for me to get my free weekly car washes!

I made several trips to dealer to see what they had in a newer used car. (while at same time attempting to sell an RV and truck). The day I was paid for my RV I went to see if anything else had come in. Caitlin told me they had something to show me. It was a white 2011 Honda Civic, with only 33k miles) they had just got in. Very friendly staff. I worked with Zack while purchasing my 2008 Honda CRV EXL. He was very easy to get a hold of and made communication a breeze. After speaking with Zack we decided that just because of his customer service we would drive the 2 1/2 hours(from Cincinnati) to purchase our vehicle from them. Once we arrived the same level of customer service continued in person. We left very happy after making our deal. Upon getting back to Cincinnati we noticed that the A/C wasn't blowing cold. I contacted Zach and he immediately got back to me first thing the next morning. After talking with his supervisor he told me that I did not have to come all the way back to Anderson and that I could take it to the nearest Certified Honda Dealer and have one of their technicians check it out and report back to them. Ended up being a fairly simple fix and Zach and Tom Wood took care of everything. Overall this was a great experience and I recommend anyone looking for a new car to contact Zach and Tom Wood Honda.

I bought a used Accord for my college-age daughter from a reputable used car lot. The SRS light was on and the and the driver's side seat belt buckle did not actuate the "Fasten Seat Belt" light. My background in electrical engineering and my prior experience with SRS systems made me pretty sure that the two things were related. Sure enough, I was able to extract the "trouble code" from the SRS computer and it indicated a driver'a side seat belt buckle failure. What this really means is that the little micro-switch inside the buckle assembly was stuck. This is apparently a common issue. I took the buckle assembly off of the seat and took it apart. Sure enough, it looked like someone had spilled a soft drink on it, and the little switch plunger was stuck in the "latched" position. I cleaned it up and plugged it in...voila! The fasten seat belt light came on and worked properly when the buckle was actuated! Unfortunately, the SRS light also stayed on. After some internet research, I found that some SRS lights can be reset by a user procedure, and some must be taken to a dealer. Of course, mine is the latter. I called Tom Wood Honda to see how much they charge to simply reset my SRS light. I told the service person (Brian) the above story. He said they would do it for free, if that's all that it needed. I made the appointment for 8:00 am on 12/20/2013. When I arrived, I pulled the car into the service bay, got out, and told the service tech that I had an 8:00 am appointment to have my SRS light reset. Brian said "Ok". He didn't say another word for the next 5 minutes or so as he took down the VIN number and mileage, and generated the appropriate paperwork (it was rather awkward silence). Finally, he said it would be a few minutes. I had to ask where the customer lounge was. I wasn't offered coffee or anything. About 15 minutes later, Brian entered the lounge and presented me with an estimate for $182 to replace the buckle assembly, because the SRS computer was still throwing the "driver'a side seat belt buckle failure" code. I toldhim that I'd fixed the buckle and that I knew it was working, because the seat belt light on the dash was working. He shrugged and said, "that's the error code, so it must still be bad". I asked him how much the part cost, and told him I'd replace it myself. Their price for the buckle was $87. I told him that I'd find one at a salvage yard. He then presented me with a BILL for $48 to cover the "diag". I was furious. I gave him authorization to reset the light...he said they would so that for free. Why the bill? After I put up a fuss, he discarded the bill, and I left (in a rather sour mood). Here's the kicker. As I pulled out of their lot, I looked down at the dash AND THE SRS LIGHT WAS OFF! They had reset the SRS light, cleared the trouble code, AND THEN tried to lure me into an unnecessary $182 repair! Beware of these people. They are liars and snakes.

A week or so later we decided we wanted to purchase the used Envoy that Zach Watters showed us. We traveled two hours to the Anderson, IN location. We had an aftermarket air-conditioning system put into our 2003 Honda Civic DX. They troubleshot an electrical problem that was unknown until they put the system in. Kept us updated the entire time and the system works beautifully. If they can do this level of work on a system this large, they are excellent mechanics. Definitely the best Honda mechanics we have encountered. We will be recommending them to anyone who inquires where we take our Honda.

As a single woman it is hard to find a place that will service your vehicle that doesn't take advantage of ripping you off. You want a place that you can trust and respects you even if you can't quite describe exactly what is going on with your car. At least they don't treat you like you are stupid to your face. Over all I am thankful for a place that I can trust to do what is needed and tell me what I can wait on to fix as I don't always have the money to fix everything at once. I have never had a bad experience in the 3 years I have been taking my car for service.

Tony Varcak went out of his way to explain what was needed on this particular service and how much it would cost. He let me know what I could expect for the future services and about how soon I would need to purchase new tires. He also got several quotes on different tires and prices, so that I could plan for that expense.He was able to have the service man buff out a small scrape in my paint at no charge. He was very friendly and went above and beyond what I would have expected from a service manager. But I have always been so pleased with Tom Wood in Anderson...they do a great job. And they wash my car when they are finished!thanks to all of you!

I took my CR-V in for an oil change and discovered that my battery needed to be replaced. Since my battery was still under warranty, I did not have to pay full price for my new battery. I appreciate that Tom Wood Honda checks over my vehicle, even when all I requested was an oil change, and they call to let me know what other service needs to be done while my car is in the shop. They never pressure me to agree to their recommendations but I generally agree to the recommended service since I trust that they know what is best. I love my CR-V and when I am ready to purchase a new car, I will go to Tom Wood Honda.

They have some of the best used Honda's out there on the road today. Was looking in particular for a Honda Accord 2006 or 2007 model since the design was a catch in my head. Found 2 cars that were perfect as per my requirements, the sales person "Donovan Poole" was very very friendly and patient in explaining A-Z about the car. It took us a whole 1.5 hrs to go through these 2 cars, and yet Donovan was as active and responsive to my rapid fire round of questions! :-) Thanks to Donovan for that..On the pricing front, they are really helpful to try and get to the mark you are looking for. Overall a very nice and a memorable experience for me since it was my first car in the US. Then came the time for the delivery of the car. I've been a faithful Honda customer since 1985, and have used this dealership for nearly all my maintenance needs since. Not only are the mechanics knowledgeable and thorough, but I trust them to alert me to potential problems down the line. I just reached 125K miles on my 2004 Odyssey, and plan to see at least 200K before I'm done with it. When a friend was looking for a reliable used car, of course I steered him to Honda, and we found a 2002 Odyssey that had just been traded in, a single owner, only 92K miles, and in impeccable condition. Needless to say, he now understands why I'm willing to drive 45 miles for most maintenance service. The sales staff was just as enthusiastic about his purchase as if he had purchased a new car, and were very patient with him throughout the process. (every car he's ever owned has been a 'beater'- this one is a jewel!) Yes, sometimes it seems to take forever to get there from Indy, but I never have to worry about being taken advantage of. (Perhaps I shouldn't worry about that at ANY Honda dealer,but I've learned the hard way others are not always honest.) I'm definitely a Honda fan, AND a Tom Wood Honda fan specifically.

I was way past overdue for maintenance on my vehicle. I really expected there would be several things that needed to be replaced/repaired. Aside from the oil change, there were only two items that needed to be addressed. I was impressed that even though there was another item close to needing attention, I wasn't pressured into having it done "right now." I caught my right front bumper and cracked it. It was hanging down. They were able to tie it in place until I determine what to do with that. They had my vehicle ready to go much sooner than I thought they would.

My experience with Tom Wood Honda of Anderson, Indiana was one of amazement. They treated me with professionalism and courtesy from the moment I arrived at their dealership. The amazing part of this story was that I didn't bring in a Honda vehicle for service at all. Instead I brought in a 2011 Chevy Malibu 1LT in for an oil change after receiving a discount coupon in out regular postal mail some weeks earlier. Brian Shores immeadiately assigned me to a service employee and he began taken information from me concerning the nature of my visit to Tom Wood Honda. After that, my car was promptly taken to service to begin work on it. I was shown the complimentary service area and asked if I would like something to drink e.g. coffee, soda, etc. I was kept apprised of the work being done on my vehicle during the time it was in the service department. Upon completion of service to the Chevy Malibu 1LT, I was then escorted to the service garage area where everything was explained to me as it related to the servicing of my vehicle. I then presented my coupon to the service technician and paid for the oil change to my vehicle minus the coupon sent to me. I gave the rating because they asked me if i wanted all the service on the 60,ooo mile maintenance. I didn't need the tires rotated. they also said the power steering fluid and bread fluid would need checked on the next visit. they have always have treated me good and with respect.

We have been very pleased with our experience with the sales people when purchasing this car. It is really great to drive. Today we took it in for the first oil change. I called yesterday and they got me in this morning. Also the first oil change is free. They suggested tire rotation which I purchased. When I picked up the car it had been washed. Overall it was a very good experience. The employees I met were very courteous and business like. Thank you.

Brian Shores,in service, knows me by name even if he hasn't seen me for months. He knows what car I have even though I have purchased several.The sales people (Mark) are thorough in their explanations and see to all your needs. Even after I drove my new car off the lot, I had to call Mark 3 times because I left personal items in the loaner car and my old car. He retrieved and took care of everything. Can't ask for anything better than that.

My ratings were based on the overall service I had during my visit for oil change and tire rotation. During my visit I was provided information on vehicle accessories and Tom Wood Honda's ability to do different installations. I was rewarded with a 15% discount on any accessory purchase. My service advisor also helped me with re-programing my door lock feature to unlock all doors when put into the park position. It was also recommended that my cabin air filter be replaced. My service provider showed me my existing cabin air filter which showed dirt collection. This was replaced as well during my visit. I also requested a list of accessories for my Accord and was provided with a list of all features and the installation prices for all items. I was also shown stock accessory item that I plan on buying (trunck tray). My service experience was excellent. I look forward to future needs on my 2010 Honda Accord through Tom Wood Honda. Convenient service hours, clean waiting room with internet access, friendly staff. I like that the service department gives me information on what service that my car will need in the next couple of months (ie. tires, brake pads, etc.) Helps me plan my budget! I have used this service department since I purchased my car here and have always been very satisfied with the work done. I also like the free car wash with any service down! We have come to expect good quality, service, and exceptional courtesy and friendliness from the service department at Tom Wood Honda - that is because we have always gotten it! Brian, the head of the service department, has always been straightforward with me; I do not feel like he is being patronizing or less than honest just because I don't know much about cars. He has always treated me with respect and courtesy, and that means a lot to me. If anything about the work is not quite right, they make it right without charging more money, but it is rare to have to take the car back for any reason after it has been serviced or repaired.

In the past I have not had good things to say about the service department at Honda. I have been in for oil changes, that I had an appointment for, and sat waiting for well over an hour. I consider that ridiculous, when I can walk into an oil change place and get in and out in 15 minutes without an appointment. This appointment, however, was the first time I have had the pleasure of dealing with Clarence. He was extremely polite and informative. Not only was his customer service outstanding, but I had actual service done on my car, not just an oil change, and I was out in less than an hour.Very positive experience!

I live in Muncie and drive to Anderson to get my CR-V serviced even though there is a Honda dealership in Muncie. I have always received great service at this dealership. In the past, I have worked with Tammy and was always pleased. Now that I have met Clarance, this has not changed. I am extremely pleased with the customer service. Clarence provided an estimate on the costs before the work began. He gave me an estimate on when the work would be finished. Both estimates were accurate and I did not have any surprises.

I bought my Honda sport from Tom Wood Honda in Aug. 09. There was a recall on a spring in the engine. So I took it up there for the recall but after rotating my tires as I had asked they found that they were not good. Such a shame that on 27,000 miles and I had to but buy new ones. My husband checked around and he said they had the best price so while the car was up there they installed new tires. Very good service and friendly employees. I also had them order me a part for my car and were very gracious to mail it to me since I live over 50 miles from the dealer. Thanks Clarence for all your help. Aimee Chapman

It was time for routine maintainence on my Honda Civic, which I purchased new from Tom Wood Honda. I would not take my car to anyone else for service because they know the most about Hondas in general and my Honda in particular. They are always friendly and efficient. It is easy to schedule a convenient time with them, and the service manager always explains what needs to be done and the cost prior to doing the work. It is a nice plus that they also wash my car following service on it. I appreciated the discount coupon I recieved that was applied to the total bill. I love my Honda and hope to keep it in top condition for several more years with the help of Tom Wood Honda's team.

When driving home to Fort Wayne I stopped in Anderson for gas. In a not bright moment I mistakenly filled the tank with diesel fuel. A mile out of town the car just stopped with all warning lights on. I was towed to Tom Wood Honda. They were booked for the day with repairs but found a way to fix my car and get me on the road again, I was there for about 7 hours and Staff members from all departments came at various times of the day to see if I needed anything and to just talk with me and make me feel welcome and show respect to an embarrassed woman there all alone. None of the Service members talked down to me when explaining what needed to be done to assure that the car would not be damaged by the wrong fuel. I would recommend Tom Wood Honda without a moment's hesitation !!!

From the time I made an appointment to the time I left I felt at ease. The person I made the apppointment with was not pushy and was very knowledgable. I received a reminder email,instead of a phone call which I really enjoyed. I actually missed my first appointment, due to an emergency dentist appointment. I called and rescheduled, with no problem. When I came in for my appointment Clarence met me at my car,opened my door and introduced himself which just really made my day. Chivalry is still here. Clarence actually discussed with me what my car needed, listened to me and helped me make an educated discussion. This was a wonderful experience and I will share this with everyone I know. Excellent experience! Service Dept Guys were friendly, professional and treated me great. They informed me of and showed me a minor issue with the exhaust system of car. I was very surprised that even though it was a snowy, messy day, they took the time to give the complimentary wash! The Waiting Area was very customer friendly (except I couldn't figure out how to change the channel on the too small TV) and had a very nice merchandise presentation. I also had the opportunity to talk to the gal in the Helpful and friendly. Overall EXCELLENT experience. I will definitely go back and recommend this dealership to friends and family!

Their estimates of cost are right on the money as are their time estimates on how long the service will take. The desk person is friendly and knowledgeable and will answer any questions in a courteous manner. He doesn't treat me like am stupid! I love that they have a really nice lobby area to wait in which includes computer with internet access, table and chairs, newspaper, TV and things to munch on. I love this dealership!

Have purchased 2 vehicles in the past from them and have never had the issues that we did this time.sales rep. was unprofessional an example referred to the crosstour as a cross-turd and stated he did not like them.made promises that he could not keep. was more into making a sale then taking his time and dotting the I's and crossing the T's. for example we had been there for a while (over 3 hours). left because we could not come to a agreement on the sale of ours (which was a honda) and told them we did not want to make another trip back in and mike suggested that my spouse sign blank forms that way I could just come in and sign the forms and pick it up if we changed our minds (how stupid did he think we were). we called back and told them a different price we could work with and was called back and told they were working on it and that I needed to give them the ok right then over the phone and come back in and sign the paper work. we agreed and headed back (they are a 20- 30 min. drive). was called when we were about 10 min away and told they could not do it. On monday was called by Mike and told that he had found the perfect car and could work with it and it was in the price we wanted and they could give us more on ours toward this one. was quoted 25,600.00 which was to include everything but taxes. we made apt. for 6:30 that night to go back. called an 5:30 to make sure they had it left a vm. at 6:10pm Mike called and said they had it and was working on cleaning now. when we arrived he came out and was anxcious to show it, we looked and when my spouse said he wanted to see the paper work we went inside and had to ask again to see the paper work,was handed the papers and yep almost a $4000.00 difference. Mike could not explain why what he told us was not reflected in the paper work and he said he did not understand where they came up with their figures we asked to speak to the one who did the paper work and was told there was a family emergency and he had to leave early. spoke with the sales manager of new and he started to explain the figures when we told him what we were told, he stated the sales rep was new and misunderstood what he had told him to tell us. at that point my spouse got up and walked out.As said previously we had purchased 2 honda's from them and have never had the incompetence, total lack of organiztion, lack of caring about customers as we did this time. I called and spoke with Tara who is the assistant to the co-owner Bill Richardson and expressed the above. Recieved a call back the next day offering to decrease the car $200.00 told Patrick no thank you and by the way the exact same vehicle color and all minus the 5400 miles was $1000.00 cheaper at Ed Martin Honda in Indy. He just hung up the phone.I would have to be very despirate to visit them again. Went down the road and was offered the amount we were trying to get from honda at Ed Martin Toyota and leased a Rav4, but they also said if I wanted a CRV they would get one and have it delivered there and I could do all of the paper work there. They would get from their dealership in indy. Delt with Fred and Derrick there and they went up and above to make sure we got what we wanted no matter which vehicle we went with.Tom Wood could use some education on customer service from Ed Martin.

This was the first time I had to take the car in for it's oil change. The Service department greeted me by name as they open my car door, went over what would be done to the car and then had shuttle service available to take me back to work and came back at the time specified to take me back to pick up the car. It was ready when I returned.

We have purchased our last 3 Honda Accords from Tom Wood Honda in Anderson. My first experience was with this dealership 3 years ago when I decided it was time to trade cars. I decided to purchase a Honda Accord after reading the Consumers Report on this automobile. I found the sales staff to be very courteous and yet not high pressured. So I purchased a new 2007 Accord. I loved the automobile. About a year later my wife was ready to trade cars and she decided as much as I liked my Accord that she would purchase one also. She too got a new 2007. Accord. We have found the Service department to be just as friendly as the sales department. A year ago while on vacation in the first Accord we were involved in an automobile accident that totaled my Accord. When we returned home in a rented car, I immediately contacted this same Tom Wood Dealership and told them of my needs and they helped me to purchase a new 2009 Honda Accord. We dealt with the same courteous saleman each time because we liked him so much from the first sales experience. I think his last name is Metzger. We have found the service department also super friendly and very knowledgeable of their products. My only complaint is that the service department may be a little high on pricing. After my warranty ran out on the first Honda, we began having the servicing of the vehicle done at another car repair business in the town where we live as it was less expensive.

We bought our 2009 Honda Van from Tom Wood Honda because that is where we got the best deal. I am a long time GM buyer, but since they don't make vans anymore I had to find another dealer. Toyota just didn't fit with quality or price, and now with all the trouble they have had, we are glad we picked Honda. The service is great and I love the carwash they complimentary give after their service to our vehicle.

Excellent service. We've had no problems for eleven years. Bought our new Odyssey there in 2000 with no sales pressure. Since then (160,000 miles) everything has been done professionally and on time.It's worth the 40 mile round trip each time we go.We bought a used Honda Accord locally, from a GM dealer, and have received the same excellent service on it as on our Odyssey, even though the car was not bought from Tom Wood.Highly recommended!

I've been a customer of this dealership since before it was a "Tom Wood" franchise, since 1985. I've bought my last 4 cars, all Hondas, from them, mainly because of their service department. Even though it's nearly 50 miles from my home in Indianapolis, it's well worth it to use them for all my maintenance needs. They do a wonderful job of keeping track of what I need. I'm sure they realize that even though they won't make much money when selling me a new Honda, they'll more than make it up in routine service - if I can help it, nobody else touches my car - and my cars typically go without a glich to 150K+ before a trade-in.

I have been pleased with my entire experience...from leasing my civic to the two oil servicings I have had so far. My calls are always returned promptly for scheduling servicing. I also appreciate the way they clean the car after each servicing. So far, I am very pleased.

I am always treated with respect and friendlinessa at Tom Wood Honda. Any questions I have are answered and before anything is worked on, I get the final approval. The workers are upfront and friendly. I feel they do all they can to win me over as a customer.

I visited the Honda Dealership in Anderson to get my windshield wipers fixed. Tammy was very accommidating and knowledgeable. After waiting a short time for the repairs to be made, I sat in the comfortable waiting area. It was very nice to have free internet for customers, as I was able to study for my online class while getting my car serviced. Tammy saved me money by finding out that there was a recall on the windshield wiper part, it was free! My car wash was a sweet surprise too! Although I don't know the names of the employees who performed the service and washed my car, I would also like to thank them.

I called into the Tom Wood Honda service department and ask if an appointment was available to check out my brakes. I told Tammy that I had a noise and was sure it was in the brakes. I was given an appointment and took my car in the next day and left my car. Within a hour, Tammy called me and told me that it was my brakes and rotors and and gave me the cost to replace them. I told her to go ahead and do the brakes and rotors and she gave me a time that the car would be ready to pick up. When I when in to get my car, Tammy explained the invoice and I was happy because the total cost was a little less than was told in the beginning. The service department was very prompt and professional and friendly. I wasnt rushed when picking up my car and was also ask if I had any other questions about the repair. It was nice to find a place that the people are friendly and treat you very fairly.

Tammy is always friendly and helpful as well as the rest of the maintainence staff. I appreciate their willingness to call me back when they had a cancelation to get me in early. Maintainence is always an expensive proposition but I come back to the dealer for expert care and frankly brand loyalty. I wish there was some sort of program you could be put on for regularly programed maintainence. Possibly a small prepay, but a reduction in price--say 10 percent or so (above and beyond all specials which the staff regularly points out to me.) It is a bit of an inconvenience for me to drive the 30 miles for service, and each time I get closer to scheduling with a local mechanic here in my town of Marion. However, if I were to be put on a maintainance program with a discount for either prepay or mandatory service.. I would appreciate it and you would have a customer for the life of this vehicle and the opportunity to sell me more vehicles in the future. Unfortunately, with the pace of life always picking up, I may be forced to look for alternative forms of maintainence, but I would rather always have Tammy and the gang at Tom Wood Honda be my sole mechanics.What do you think of the idea of extended service plans with big discounts and committments?

Went in for a scheduled oil change. On the way there a nail was embedded into the tire side wall. Tammy stated tire could not be repaired due to location of puncture, but they could replace the tire with a like unit. I was very pleased with the entire service (oil change & tire replacement). Entire service was completed in about 1-hour. Tammy was professional & friendly. I do not know the female parts counter employee's name, but she was also friendly.

I've been a customer of tom wood honda for 20 years and I have never been dissatisfied with sales people, or service department. I tell all my friends who are looking for a car to visit tom wood honda. 5 stars all around. I've never had a major problem with any car from this dealership and they are very good at maintaining your vehicle. Kudos to general manager Bill Richardson

This is a small dealership but one staffed with competent, honest, service-oriented personnel. I have been a customer since 2/2000 and have never been dissatisfied with any of the services provided or questioned the need for them. They are all totally open and direct when making suggestions or recommendations for improvements or service. I would put this group up against any dealership I have dealt with over the past 40+ years of dealing with automobile servicing organizatons, bar none.

I went for an oil change. The service area brought me my filters for review. The staff is always very friendly and the waiting area always has coffee, television and things to read. I always have a good experience here. I am a repeat customer of the last 5 years or so.

The entire experience was great. I called and asked about a 2008 Odyssey EX-L in certain colors, and Doug and Patrick helped me get the van that I wanted. I called around to several dealers in Indiana and also visited my local ones, so I knew what price I was looking for. I named my price for the van and the trade in, and Doug and Patrick said that it would be possible, or very close (of course they have to evaluate the trade in in person). Before telling me the price was very possible, they checked with the owner to be sure that the price was at least very close to what he would agree to. The phone-quote for the new van was honored. We got to within $300 of my ideal price for my trade-in, which made me happy with the deal, since it's impossible to give a firm quote on a trade in over the phone. I negotiated, but I love to negotiate. I felt no high pressure at any time. They traded with another dealer to get the color I wanted, and didn't pressure me to get a color or trim-level that was in stock. The best thing was the overall friendly attitude and helpfulness. The finance guy did not do any high pressure stuff, and was quick but thorough. We were in and out of the finance office within a half hour. I feel like they were very trustworthy in their dealings - a feeling I have not gotten at some other dealerships in the area. They do a really fun thing when you buy your car - they kind of hide it under a car cover and then unveil it for you, so you can see it in all of its shiny glory. I highly recommend Tom Wood Honda.

Warranty service for 07 Civic. Went in for recall on waterpump. They also found two other recalls I did not know about and fixed them too. Whole experience took about 1 hour. Good experience. Had an appointment and service was right on time. Very satisfied.

Have dealt with them for 9 years. Always excellent during that time. Bought an Odyssey from them and they also service an Accord for us.My only 4 rating comes from two different occasions when they had trouble repairing a sliding door on the Odyssey. Both times I had to make trips back before the door would close properly. But both times it was fixed, so it's really a 4-1/2 rating.I highly recommend this dealership. Great cars, great service!
