Our family just purchased our second BMW from Topsfield Motor Co. As always, it was a stress free experience. Gregg and Dan are easy and enjoyable to work with. If you are looking to purchase a preowned vehicle, this is the place to go. You will find friendly, professional and courteous service and cars priced fairly and honestly. What more could you want? Don't bother with the big dealerships. This is a small family-operated business, who make you feel comfortable from the moment you set foot in the door. We have been extremely pleased with both of our purchases. I highly recommend Topsfield Motor Co. This is the only dealership I would consider going to when purchasing a preowned vehicle.

Best car purchasing experience! The management is incredibly knowledgable, professional and prompt. The showroom/location is well maintained and meticulous. I bought an '05 Volvo s80 T6 premier from Dan (the owner) at Topsfield Motor Co. that was in great condition and at a great price. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, answering all my questions and getting back to me in a timely manner. The car, which had 150k miles on it, was in pristine condition with all features working as they should. Dan had his staff give the car an excellent detail job before I purchased it, as well as putting on 4 new brakes (pads and rotors). I had a small issue with the car a few weeks after buying it, and Dan was quick to have me bring the car in and they diagnosed the issue (it turned out to be nothing). I would highly recommend buying a car here to anyone who wants a good, honest dealer and very fair prices.

Five stars under-rates TMC; these guys are great. No pressure environment and very informative; it's more of a "match-making" process than a sales pitch. I already knew the Make/Model I wanted, and both Sales Manager Gregg and Owner Dan made it very easy to make a purchase with them (it helped that they had the best specimen of my desired vehicle!). I EMPHATICALLY recommend that you take a ride up Route 1 if they have a car that fits your "must-have" list, because you will also be impressed with their degree of professionalism, congenial nature, and exemplary level of customer service.

I took it to my local mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection and the my mechanic said that he rarely sees a used car that was this clean. Dan and Gregg do a great job picking out cars to sell on their lot. They were nice, professional, very easy to work with and laid back as well. I would definitely recommend Topsfield Motor Company to my friends! If you are reading this, you are likely considering buying a car from them. I would definitely pay them a visit!

After an awful experiance at Peabody BMW, I decided to look elsewhere for a used BMW. Well, I found it. I recently purchased a 2011 BMW 328i xdrive from Dan (the owner) at Topsfield Motor Company. The car is wonderful, the facility was clean, neat, and organized. Everyone I met was friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommended, don't even think twice about it, stop by and check them out - these guys offer what the huge franchised dealerships can't... they are honest, up front, and follow through with what they say. I have been a customer of TMC for approximately 3 1/2 years and during those years I have purchased 2 Audi SUV's from Dan (owner of TMC). My first SUV has had all service on it done at TMC and I am more than certain my newly purchased SUV will also be serviced there (once the Audi warranty runs out). Both the buying and servicing experiences have been top notch, no pressure and honest! Dan, Greg, Lester and Jerry have all been very kind, patient, never phony and never making me feel like I ask foolish questions, always making themselves available for assistance. They make buying a car a "fun experience" which has never been my dealership experiences before. They are like family without the arguing, bickering and stress!!! Asked if I would recommend them to anyone one I know? My answer would be, I would be a fool not to and cannot keep Topsfield's "gem" a secret any longer!

I visited Topsfield Motors in my search for a used BMW X3. They were very professional. They have a great shop with a lot of specialty Mercedes and BMWs. They had the car I was interested in ready for me to test drive and were friendly and helpful as they answered the many questions I had. Although they didn't have the perfect car for me, I would certainly try them again when I need another car.

I bought a mercedes sl 500 that Dan had online I travelled 5 hours one way from nystate to purchase it it was. 100 percent as advertised dan and Greg went over the car with security to make sure it was ready to.leave the state for the long trip back they were extremely professional and total experience was worth the 10 hours travelled thanks again guys for a great auto!

Don Donegan , the owner and Greg, his assistant have created an excellent niche in the slightly used or classic used car market. They both have a remarkable knowledge base of German cars, the products that are out there and the differences between Benz, BMW , and Audi. Don hand picks cars to sell in his business that are superior to what you will find on the dealer lots. I have been looking for a 2 - 3 year old BMW Wagon or Audi, or Benz, small SUV , and they had a BMW 328xi wagon that was far better than any than I have found in a 100mi radius at any dealer in the past 2 months. I had actually given up my search and resigned myself to compromising. All the dealer cars that I looked at were either beat, scratched, or the wrong color combinations, or did not have the features that I wanted. After spending about an hour with Greg, showing me this car, it dawned on me that there was no reason I should not buy it. He let me drive it extensively, and even put it on a lift to examine it. I would buy from them again, and recommend them to my friends. Thanks for the experience.

After looking for about a month for a used Volvo wagon via private sales, my online searching revealed a great looking '07 Volvo wagon at Topsfield Motor. The photos and CarFax looked too good to be true! I've been buying used Volvos for the past 25 years via private sales so I was a bit apprehensive about buying from a dealer. When I first met Dan Donegan (the owner) I was immediately relieved that he seemed to be such a nice person. My first impression was correct! The whole purchasing process was enjoyable. My wife and I felt good about everyone we interacted with at Topsfield Motor. We even bypassed our usual pre-purchase inspection by our local mechanic because we trusted that the car was thoroughly inspected and anything that needed to be fixed was (including a new timing belt installed sooner than was necessary). We love the car and look forward to contacting Topsfield Motor Co. for our next car purchase.

My experience with Topsfield Motors, specifically with Dan (owner) and Greg (sales), was nothing short of spectacular, and I would urge anyone reading this to consider them when buying a car. Courteous, professional, tactful and fair are a few words that come to mind. Take all of your pre-conceived notions you have about the car-buying experience and toss them out the window - these guys just re-wrote the book on it! I liked the fact that they are car enthusiasts first and foremost, and that is readily apparent when dealing with them. From the test-drive to closing - and every step in between - I literally can't come up with anything to complain about. In fact, I enjoyed getting to know these guys and their company quite a bit throughout the process, and I will pick up the phone and call them again when the time comes, without hesitation. And I would urge you all to do the same!!

I waited a week before I wrote the review to make sure that if I had a problem, it would be taken care of. Yes, it was, promptly and without question. I have access to MB Diagnosis equipment, and a great MB mechanic (100 miles from the dealer) so I could do an extensive survey of the car after I bought it, at our own pace. We found a few things that needed fixing. Dan asked me to bring the car down and he would take care of them. The clearly identified items were promptly and correctly rectified. There seems to be a minor problem with the messages in the dash. Neither of us can trace the source. After studying the problem, it appears that it only happens when it is extremely cold, 5 degrees or below, and disappears after the car warms up. The problem appears minor, and if we can narrow it to the source module, I am confident Dan will take care of it. Yes, I am very satisfied with my experience with Topsfield Motor Co.

Purchased a 2006 Audi Cabriolet, in September 2012, after viewing Topsfield Motor's website with many informative photos and description. The deal was made by phone with owner, Daniel Donegan. I was picked up promptly by the dealer at Logan Airport (I live about 1,000 mi. away), and driven to the premise, about thirty minutes away. The vehicle was in pristine condition, 34,000 mi. on it, and over the past year of driving it, has performed very well. The price was reasonable to both the buyer and the seller. What was represented to me is what was delivered ! Top quality dealership with good, reliable people, giving excellent service.

I was searching for an upgrade from my current car. I came across this Audi Allroad but it was located north of Boston (I am in Brooklyn). After communicating with the owner (Dan) and realizing he was delivering a car in Williamsburg, I was able to meet him face to face and show him my trade in Audi. The price range he gave me over the phone was accurate once he saw my car. Dan was very helpful throughout the entire process. After a few weeks of hammering out details I just completed purchase of the Allroad and couldn't be happier with how things went (he delivered again to Brooklyn!). There was absolutely no rush through the process, Dan is extremely patient and thorough. It was a breath of fresh air to deal with them. Thanks again Topsfield Motors!

The guys at Topsfield are not your typical car dealership. Dan, the owner, is an incredibly nice guy who is someone you can trust. I had a very strange situation where I wanted to buy a car in Mass, get it to NYC and then get it shipped out to the west coast. On top of that, I hadn't purchased a car in over 15 years. Dan walked me through the whole process, delivered the car to me in NYC and couldn't have been more helpful. So if you're looking to buy a car, and want someone who isn't going to give you the run around or play any games, Topsfield is the place. You can't go wrong working with these guys.

This was the first time I had visited TMC. I was brought in by an internet ad for a rare car I had wanted for years. I went not prepared to buy but, I fell in love with the condition and quality of the car. It met or exceeded the description listed on the online ad by TMC. The owner, Dan Donegan, and the service manager, Joe Sabella, are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I would definately buy from TMC again.

I visited Topsfield Motor Company about a month ago because I noticed a car on their website that I was interested in. I had been to other used car lots before, looking for a similar car, but didn't really have great experiences with any of them for various reasons (i.e. the cars themselves, the customer service. etc...). Anyway, I had a wonderful experience at Topsfield Motor Company, and would highly recommend doing business with them. First, the owner, Dan Donegan, is the opposite of a "used car salesman," possessing qualities that you don't often see in anyone, let alone used car salesmen. He is honest, straightforward, and knowledgeable. He is extremely present and worked with me throughout the whole adventure ( admittedly i was a little ambivalent about the whole thing, due to my past experiences) with patience and I really felt like he had my best interest in mind. Needless to say, I felt very well taken care of. Second, the car itself is great. It was in great condition and appeared just like it was described on the website, as well as over the phone. I am extremely happy with the experience, and would definitely buy another car from Topsfield Motor Company.
