Save your time and money by not coming to this dealership. The sales process was extremely lacking because I had to do all the work of getting everything done. Why does the salesperson get paid to sit and wait for me to do everything? Next was their inability to disclose any history about the car. I had to do some research to find out that the car had been in an accident. No mention of it from their website, not from the salesperson, nothing. Now I'm concerned, but the sales guy says that everything is fixed, no need to worry. I'm worried. Now that I've driven it home, the brakes are horrible. I immediately contacted them and they authorize me to get them looked at. I did, they need to be fixed, so they said to fix the brakes and they would pay me back with a receipt. I got them fixed and Towne will not pay a cent for the repair. If you tell me to go ahead and get the car fixed because its a state warranty issue, then you should stand behind what another authorized dealership says is the problem and pay for the fix. Now I'm left standing with a huge bill for a fix on a vehicle that was supposed to be working properly the day I drove it home. Management told me that they won't pay for the repair - they don't care. They obviously don't care about their customers. Avoid this dealership!!

It has been a long while since we have bought a brand new vehicle. (1994 to be exact) We have been fortunate I suppose to have had some great used vehicles. We had gone to the Erie Co Fair this summer and had seen some SUV autos there and we decided to look. We had a relative that had 2 Hyundais and decided to look into it. We had looked at other brands and decided to look due to the offered warranty and liked the cars we test drove. Probably the biggest factor for us buying at Towne was that Bill Kuhn was very good at his job and allowed the vehicle itself to bring us back for a purchase. It was refreshing to be in the car market looking with Bill as he was NOT high pressure but did allow us time to look, drive, and felt that he gave us the time needed to make up our own mind on this purchase..Thanks for a great buying experience

From the moment I walked on the lot, I was impressed with Bill Kuhn. I had shopped at several dealerships across New York in the weeks prior to my purchase at Towne and the respect and transparency I received from Bill was by far the best. I was honest about my needs and wishes; Bill put in extra effort to make sure I got the best possible deal. At no point did I get the "salesman feel" from Bill, something I appreciated tremendously. Signing the paperwork and delivery were seamless as well. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Bill and my experience at Towne. The only downfall is that Towne is six hours away from where I live - I wish I could be able to give them my service business as well! I wholeheartedly recommend Bill and plan to return in three years when my lease is over.

Everything to this point is satisfactory except for an apparent actual miles per gallon and the reading on the dashboard.. It concerns me that miles per gallon performance may not be not accurate as reflected on the dashboard. We did not chose this vehicle for less that optimum performance and we expect to watch closely and return the Tuscon soon if we find the actual miles per gallon to be less than the computer indicates. Currently getting between 25.9 and 27 miles per gallon.

I already commented on the frustrating experience I had getting Syrius to work. From my experience I learned not to trust the salesman but to do my own research when it comes to money and checking out thoroughly all the features of the car and be sure all is working properly before leaving the dealership.

Poor service department.Do you want your oil overfilled almost every time because they don't seem to check the level before sending the car out? Come on down to the Towne Hyundai.Or how about bait-and-switch-like policies for their coupons, promising on their $79.95 transmission service coupon "Replace Transmission fluid with Hyundai Genuine Transmission fluid" but then charging you extra to actually put in Hyundai Genuine Transmission Fluid because it's "synthetic"? When confronted about what type of "regular" fluid they use, their employee said (on 8/20/15 at 9am) "honestly, I don't know". Oh, and they want to charge ~$170 to use the correct fluid for an Accent.Lastly, how about misunderstanding that a car with 60,000+ miles on it was in for the 60,000 mile service, and wasting everyones time by not performing that service.I'd rather drive the car into the ocean than bring it in for service to Towne Hyundai.edit: To their credit, they ended up reducing the $170 cost after some arguing, but it shouldn't take an argument. I've also reached out to Hyundai corporate about their business practices and this poor experience.

I am on my third new Hyundai all purchased from Towne, an Accent, Tucson and now an Elantra. Every time I have gone in there, I am greeted by friendly sales staff and people that want to be sure I find a product to suite my needs. When I was in the market to trade in the Tucson and purchase an Elantra, I went straight to Towne to look and see what was available, costs and features on the car. Our salesman, Jeremy, was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! I explained to him what I was looking for and he assisted me in finding a car with all the features that I wanted, the color I was looking for and the cost that I was willing to pay. I was able to find and purchase my car quickly and if I wanted have same day pick-up of the car. I also added a car starter and Jeremy and Bob from service worked together to be sure that it could be installed without delay. I am grateful for the quick and thorough service I was able to receive while shopping.

I must admit we certainly debated about buying another Santa Fe when our 2009 was having its 2nd transmission put in and still had problems but the service department was great. We received a loaner to drive and after spending an afternoon with Tom T. we decided to buy a new 2013 Santa Fe Sport. Noel gave us a great deal on the trade in and we were very happy to find a Sport model in our color choice. Tom was under the weather when we went to pick up the car but Mike L. did a great job of describing all the dashboard electronics and so far we are very pleased. My husband and I had been shopping for a new vehicle since June 2012 after the untimely demise of our 2003 Nissan Altima in a car accient. We surived, the vehicle was totaled. We went to Towne Auto last summer and met Michael Lindstrom, a young and enthusatic salesman. I was interested in the Sonata and Mike showed us the car inside and out, even explaining everything under the hood. He is very thorough and not at all "pushy". He said when you buy a car from Towne and him, you get him too! His customer service is excellent; he told us if we have any questions/concerns to cal him directly. My husband is a very cautious consumer and did extensive research on the Sonata as well as the many other vehicles we looked at over the next few months. I loved the Sonata and Mr. Linstrom's sales approach, so we returned one snowy evening and took the Sonata out for a second test drive. We finally decided to purchase our 2013 Hydunai Sonata and took delivery on 12/13/2012.I love this car; it is a dream! The ride is smooth, the accelaration from 0 to 60 is good, the panoramic sun roof is beautiful, the heated seats come in handy, the dual heat/air control keeps everyone happy, the XM radio with the comedy channels I have been listing to keep me laughing no matter my mood, the blue tooth has been fun to play with especially getting restaurant reviews and navigation assistance!My only negative point so far is that the operator's driving speed and the posted speed limits do not show up on the map. I'm not sure if this function is not available, or if we haven't figured it out yet. I am sure a call to Mike Lindstrom (Lindy) will straigthen this out.Everyone at the dealership was very professional and courteous. Even the final paperwork was handled in a efficient and friendly manner. Zero percent interest for 60 months was an excellent selling point. I would recommend this dealer to everyone!

We have been buying cars for years; this has been the best experience we ever had with purchasing a vehicle. Our Salesman, Mike Lindstrom, was very knowledgeable and informative about the vehicle. Normally we are hesitant about writing a review, so before I wrote this, we wanted to make sure we owned the vehicle for a signficant amount of time in order to base our writeup on actual experiences. Long term: the service dept has been amazing, and our salesman has stayed in contact, and continually reminds us of our service appointments, and makes sure we are satisfied with everything. We just purchased a 2011 Outlander used from Jeremy at Towne. He did a great job finding us a car in our budget and most importantly one that had third row seating. After we bought the car, it was ready the next day, washed, waxed and ready to go. Overall we are happy with our experience and will be back once we have a need for another car.

I am very surprised and thrown off by the other poor reviews, however not to many people will take 2 minutes of their day to write a compliment online only the negatives. I have now purchased 4 Hyundai vehicles with Towne Hyundai with the help of my salesman Cal Tobias. I have never once felt pressured or pushed into a vehicle or work/maintenance I needed done thanks to Mike and Rob in service! Needless to say I am a customer for life, keep up the good work Towne!

Even though I read the previous poor review I went to the dearship looking to buy a car. The person was right, poor service. Would not go back and would not recommend the place. Ended up going to a Honda dealer after I left this place and bought a car there.

We shopped four other Hyundai/Kia dealers before we talked with Cal at Towne. Towne's pricing was aggressive and we got our deal done in a hour with no games/gimmicks, and no pressure to buy additional dealer services. They also had a good selection of Elantra coupes, GT hatchbacks and Sonata GLS.

On 8/1/12 I asked to look at USED 2011 Mustang GT500. The salesman named Ron was eager to help but thats when the problems started. First, it took 45 mins to "find the keys." Then Ron explained that i could not test drive the car because his manager said if I buy it then I can test drive it. I thanked Ron for his time and then proceeded to a competitor and ordered a 2013 Mustang GT500. I can understand if i was 18 years old out for a joy ride but im 45 and in law enforcement. your loss Towne.....
