I ended up trading in a car and was just truly unhappy with the one I got. I felt completely pressured the whole time and was deceived by the price (the salesman charged me more than the internet price - my fault for not investigating more). I then tried to take advantage of the 3 day exchange policy and the 110% price match but they are very very hard to use when you actually try to take advantage of them.Just proceed with absolute caution, they will try to take advantage of you.

I am still in a bit of a honeymoon period since I am under dealer warranty but the facilities are so nice that I'm currently choosing to work from there instead of going to Starbucks. Nice people and you see faces over and over again so turnover isn't a huge issue.

I bought this Camry new from Toyota of Cool Springs, VIN# 4T1BK1FKXDU532836, it has failed to start 5 times, they have put two new batteries in it. Bless my wife's heart, she never knows where she is going to be when it wont start. Cool Spring's service manager, Emanual Marrujo, said they couldn't fix it so take it to John Robert's Toyota in Manchester TN. We took it there and they cant find anything wrong either. They put a new battery in and 12 months later it failed to start again. leaving her stranded. I called Toyota and they opened a case. Case # 1607121033. Danny from Toyota headquarters called me today to see what my problem was. He said if the dealer can't find anything wrong then they cant do anything. He eventually hung up on me. I wasn't raising my voice or being disrespectful, when I asked how he would feel if he bought his wife a new car and it left her stranded, all I heard was "click". He had hung up. I am going to buy another vehicle next week. It's a Honda. Not trying Toyota again. maybe they have more problems than just air bags and are trying to keep it quiet.

I came in looking for some advice about Toyota because I didn't know much. I talked to Jesse Register and let me say his performance was outstanding. He answered every question I had and more. Very friendly, great attitude and polite. Overall this place was outstanding. I will definitely be back to purchase my first Toyota.

JD smith has customer service skills like no one Ive ever seen. He showed me multiple cars and answered all of my questions about every one. He never got impatient or lost his servant attitude Im in the market for a new car but Im not quite ready to purchase but when i get all my ducks in a row i will definitely purchase from this man. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience with him. All of my other car buying experiences have been so grueling. Thanks JD

I am visiting in the area and just stopped in. A Salesman asked if he could help me and I told him that I was just wasting some time. But he decided, I think, to give me "food for thought". And we talked about what I might want in my next car. He gave me a lot of things to think about. I believe his name was Jesse Register. The last name was a little unusual so I remembered it. I appreciated him taking the time to talk to me and I do have a better idea about what I want/need in my next car. Because of him I would recommend your dealership to anybody.

Saw a price on line. Went there negotiated the price. Went back to finance and they made up a story that they had to charge me an extra $1,400 because of the lender. I called the lender and the lender said that is false. Went back to the dealership and they told me that's the only deal they offer. It was so abusive.

Driving home last night I had a cruise control warning, ABS, traction control and brake system warnings come on my 2015 Camry. My first thought was- "great, now I have to be without my car for the rest of the week". I dropped off my vehicle at 7 a.m. without an appointment and my car was ready by 12 p.m. the same day! Wonderful experience for a busy, busy customer. Thank you so much for the great work.

Wow! This dealership knows customer service. I recently purchased a used 2013 Toyota Camry here with a lifetime warranty. I visited this dealership not once, but twice and both times it was extremely laid back and no hassle. I never felt pressured to buy. My salesman was very transparent and honest during the sales process. When I did decide to buy, I got the car at a competitive price. However, I did have one issue. There was a bad chip in the windshield I noticed a few days after purchasing the car. It was below a sticker when I test drove it. I contacted the General Manger and he immediately took care of me

Just recently purchased a new Camry. Couldn't be happier with the experience. Absolutely, highly recommend this dealership. I've purchased many cars in my lifetime and this was by far the easiest transaction i've ever done. Zero pressure sales. I got the car i wanted for the price i wanted. Mark Jackson was our salesman. He has been there for many years which says something when it comes to car salespeople. This place was hopping. So many people and still they got us out in a very short period of time. From walking in the building to driving out in a new car was under an hour. Buying a car is never a fun experience except for this time. Mark and JD Smith in finance made purchasing a car a very FUN experience. Great guys. I will definitely come back.

Bought a used car here 6 months ago. Still do not have a title or tags. They keep giving me temporary tags at least but I'd like to have the title. I'm starting to believe they sold me a stolen car. I've complained to all the managers and their title department. They act like it's someone else's problem. What's worse is I'm going to have to shell out more money for an attorney. I've contacted the state of TN's Consumer Affairs and it looks like this is going to be a long drawn out process.Do yourself a favor and buy from somewhere else or insist on seeing the title before giving them any money. They are not trust worthy.

I and my wife were shopping for a new car today. Below is a brief comparison (by numbers) of dealerships we visited today, which I post as a review for all 3 of them. For those who do not want to go into these numbers, here is a short summary: Beaman Toyota and Toyota of Cool Springs were trying to make us pay $900 - $1150 over the fair deal plus unreasonably high fees. Nelson Mazda gave us a fair deal and the lowest fees. My estimate of the "fair deal" is based on the KBB prices. Now, here are the numbers.Beaman Toyota, NashvilleTime spent at the dealership (excluding test drive): 1.5 hoursPrice negotiated for the new car (after all rebates and discounts but before fees and taxes): KBB "fair price" + $700Price negotiated for the trade in: KBB "trade in price" - $350Total Fees: Never made it precise. My estimate based on the final OTD price is $600.Comments: All type of dirty games played by the dealership, including seemingly fake Vanderbilt employee discount and "this is our final offer, but we may improve it"Toyota of Cool SpringsTime spent at the dealership (excluding test drive): 35 minPrice negotiated for the new car (after all rebates and discounts but before fees and taxes): KBB "fair price" + $350Price negotiated for the trade in: KBB trade in price -$550Total Fees: $820Comments: All type of dirty games played by the dealership, including seemingly fake Vanderbilt employee discount and "sign an obligation to buy it for this price and then I'll talk to my manager".Nelson Mazda Cool SpringsTime spent at the dealership (excluding test drive): 25 minPrice negotiated for the new car (after all rebates and discounts but before fees and taxes): KBB "fair price".Price negotiated for the trade in: KBB trade in price.Total Fees: $500Comments: Everything was clear and straightforward.Summary: Toyota dealers did their best to get rid of a loyal customer. And they succeeded. We bought Mazda. You choose :)

Update 11/10/2015: As I am unable to edit my original review I am limited to only being able to update my experience with this dealership since it was posted. They contacted me and we spoke at length concerning the issues that I experienced. They genuinely cared about my problems and asked to me explain everything in great detail, taking notes as I told my story and even asked for my opinion on how I expected the issues to be addressed. This absolutely floored me!! This really changed my perspective and I wish that I could go back and re-write my review. What I would like anyone that reads my review and this important update to the review is this; at times things can be overlooked and mistakes can and do happen, after all we are all merely human! What sets this dealership apart from the rest, and what matters most, is that this dealership DOES care and WILL do whatever it takes to make sure that they make things right IF you ever have the unusual misfortune of experiencing one. They definitely want you to be completely content, dare I say elated, that you received the absolute best in class service experience when you leave that building. That is what good customer service is all about, and this is why I will return to this dealership time and time again!!! Sincerely, Buck M.

I want to first acknowledge the Product Specialist Celeste Hunter. She exemplified what product knowledge is no question went unanswered. Without hesitation she was able to demonstrate all the features. Her presentation of this new product was Great she needs to be on your commercials! Once I was introduced to the Sales Consultant the level of service continued to escalate Gregory Cole was friendly and upfront with every aspect of not only the vehicle, but was astute in his presentation. I had received a great rate before coming and to my surprise your dealership offered a special perk about the engine etc. Last but not least the Finance Manager Jimmy Harris introduced me to an even better offer for the new Scion IM 2016. That was an offer straight from the Scion company that was without failure better than any other. Because this team of professionals understands the importance of Teamwork they are a Great Team exuding Team Spirit . This was one of the most enjoyable experiences I ever had at a dealership they all really made me feel at home. I had purchased in Cool Springs before but never from Toyota. Thank you for your caring and knowledgeable professionalism finding each of these attributes in one location is rare. Keep up the good work I had a wonderful day. Thanks!!!!!! Veronica

Matt, my salesperson could have not been any better; I felt like he was working for me! He took care of ALL of my needs/requests and did so very pleasantly! i later received a thank-you note from the owner and a tin of homemade cookies. I have purchased many cars and have never received anything like this before. I have always bought my cars at Toyota of Knoxville, and appearantly they and Cool Springs have the same owner; I'm glad to keep my business "in the family." I would recommend Cool Springs to anybody looking for a new or used car.

I have brought many cars here for the past 12 years and have consistently had awesome service. The facilities are beautiful, sitting atop a hill that looks over the entire area. They have free coffee that is actually the best coffee I've had at a place that wasn't a restaurant or a Starbucks. The customers have been friendly too. I always recommend that people take their car to the dealership for repairs.

A year ago I purchased a new Toyota from Alan Markle. Alan is extremely knowledgeable about all of Toyota's offerings. He is genuinely interested in providing quality service and ensures his clients receive the best option available. Alan is friendly, not pushy, and transparent in his communication around what he can and cannot accommodate to provide the best value to the customer. I highly recommend Alan and will definitely purchase another car from Alan.

I've owned a Toyota for over 30 years and this is the worst service. The people were friendly over the phone, but results were bad. I called and made an appointment for 8a and told them I needed the vehicle same day. I arrived a bit before 8, my information was taken and I was told I would receive a call between noon and 2p with the results. At 2:34 I had to call the service rep for an update and he said the mechanic was just now looking at it. Reminded him I needed the vehicle today. 30 min later he calls me back with an estimate that was outrageous and wasn't sure they could get it finished same day. I told him to never mind that I would just pick it up. The only follow up call I get is at the end of the month asking for a diagnostic fee for their efforts.

I was looking for a very specific car and Cool Springs Toyota had this vehicle. I immediately contacted them and worked with Lee. He made my buying experience easy from the phone to in person. I live in Texas (Toyota's "Gulf States Region". I wanted to purchase a 2015 Highlander Limited AWD in a specific exterior and interior colors with all the options and many add-ons. Most dealers in the DFW area made a token attempt to find the car within the state. I was encouraged to "Factory Order" the car and wait 3-4 months. However, I decided to source the car myself. I talked to many dealers outside of the Gulf States region. The one dealer who stepped up and worked hard to find the car was Toyota of Cool Springs. They found the car in Illinois, sent a driver there to drive it back to Nashville. They prepped the car in two days. I recently flew to Nashville on a Sunday to pick the car up and drive it back to Texas. The dealership picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the dealership. The car was ready to go with all of the options and add-on's I had requested at a very competitive price. These guys really jumped through hoops to make this deal work for an out of town buyerand I acquired the exact vehicle I wanted. Great dealership, wonderful highly trained staffjust a well run dealership all about the customer. I was extremely impressed.

I decided Friday night I wanted a new Camry. I submitted an online inquiry and within minutes was contacted by Alan Markel. Alan was very friendly and well informed on the products. Alan explained all of the options I had and I went by Saturday afternoon. The dealership is very large but well organized. I was there approximately 1.5 hours and I test drove 3 cars before deciding on the trim package I wanted. I came back Tuesday after work and did my paperwork with Jimmy. He was very efficient, upfront and personable. Everyone was extremely professional and easy to work. I highly recommend this dealership.

I went to this dealer as merely a concession before heading to a Honda dealership where I had already picked out the certified pre-owned I wanted to buy. But after I got there Alan M. Was so helpful and hooked me up with a New Prius for cheaper than a 2 year old civic! I could not believe it! In was so overwhelmed and excited that I kept saying the name "Honda" instead of Toyota when referring to the new car (which Alan very gracious corrected) because I had already made my mind to buy a civic... But the service and deal at this dealership was enough to convert me from a Honda to Toyota. I have driven my new Prius for a few days now, and it's everything I wanted in a car... And then some!!!

I saw a used car on the internet I was interested in. instead of dealing with the internet sales people, I drove 1.5 hrs to look at the car. I went there knowing what I was wanting and knowing what I could pay. I was greeted by a salesperson. He was very friendly and was eager to show me the car. I spoke with the sales person about my financial situation, and that is when his attitude totally changed. While I was driving the car he spent his time in the back seat looking at his phone. He was very dismissive. Once back inside I filled out the loan application, willing to overlook the salesman's behavior because I really wanted the car. He later came back and told me that there was no way it could be done and never tried to even negotiate. He was very dismissive of me because of my situation I believe.

I had a great experience leasing out new car at Toyota of Coolspring. Pat Howard took very good care of us. He made sure the whole leasing process went smooth. This is the second car I got from Toyota of Coolspring within the last 12 months. Pat Howard helped us both times. I'll be back and I will ask for Pat Howard to help me next time I am looking to get a new car. - Mark J

My daughter had purchased a total lemon from an individual in Sept. and after one day the check engine light came on. Had several mechanics look at it and got several estimated from the O2 sensors to the catalytic converter. Long story short, she needed another car. Because she Is young and has virtually no credit it was difficult to get financing. She had gone to another dealership but had no luck and the salesperson was down right rude. When we arrived at Toyota of Cool Springs, we were meet by Ryan, Mr Cole's asst. From that point we received the most professional and courteous service. They made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Mr Cole assured us that even though the situation was difficult, he would get her in the best car possible. I want to thank Mr Cole and Ryan for their great service! #2014Prius#

We traveled 5 hours to get to Cool Springs Toyota in January 2015. We found the car I wanted via the internet and talked with Ryan (salesman) in great detail about the Nissan there. This car was advertised as a Touring model 370Z. When we arrived, the car was not a touring model, it did not have many of the features as it was advertised, first big disappointment. Ryan told us an outside company puts together their ads and he really didn't know what happened, but maybe we could get a "great price" on this car for the false advertisement. Well no, the management would barely drop the price, even though the responsibility is ultimately theirs to get the ads right. We have now found out dealers have bait cars to bring people in, apparently that's what happened here. Nevertheless, I liked the car and bought it with the condition Cool Springs would reimburse me the cost of getting a 2nd key programmed at our local Nissan dealership. It took over 3 weeks for Cool Springs to process the reimbursement. But, the biggest issue was the title and tag processing. They should have had the information to my local tag office within 28 days, now keep in mind I bought this car at the beginning of January, I just got my tag at the end of April. There was 4 days I had to rent a car because someone at Cool Springs forgot to mail me the 4th temporary tag in time and my temp. tag was dead. To need 5 temporary tags is utterly ridiculous. And yes, George, we did try to call you several times and you were always unavailable and someone else "a sales manager" would call us back, with a somewhat smug, hyperactive attitude. Service after the sale is non-exsistant, not that the service was great before the sale. This has been the absolute worst car buying experience ever. The only employee at Cool Springs that has truly tried to help us as much as she could was Carey Smith in the title area, so a big thank you to her. Well lesson learned, stay within 50 miles of home to purchase big ticket items and even if I lived next door to Cool Springs Toyota, I would travel 50 mile to keep from buying a car there.

Barry White was a pleasure to work with, and I plan to work with him again on my next car purchase. He came to me highly recommended from several friends. Basically, working with a car expert gave me a strong sense of confidence in buying my used car. I am a discerning and diligent buyer of anything, and I feel comfortable negotiating deals by myself, but I am a busy guy, so having Barry do most of the legwork, research, negotiation, and arranging inspection was very valuable for me. Also, I always felt like I had his full attention on the phone and via email, and I am not an easy customer in this regard. He was always very responsive. Definitely recommend Toyota of Cool Springs.

We were so pleased from start to finish. Our salesman was a young man who totally understood EXACTLY what we were looking for. He did not try to sell us anything we didn't need. He was knowledgable and told us everything about each of the cars he showed us. The dealership is clean and very comfortable. All of the sales people were professional and kind. We were all treated with respect by everyone, even those not involved in our purchase. Our car is exactly the car we wanted and we were not pressured in any way. I cannot say enough nice things about this experience.

I have not purchased a new car in over ten years. I shopped around to look at the other brands, but decided on a Limited Toyota Avalon. At that point, I went to four Toyota dealers and Cool Springs was my final decision. The other Toyota dealers did not seem they were interested in helping me. My salesman and his assistant, Greg Cole and Ryan Denson were absolutely wonderful. They took care of me from the beginning to the end with comfort, quality, professionalism and appreciation. They went above and beyond to explain everything in detail and made it a pleasant experience. My husband is picky and he was not only impressed with Greg and Ryan, but how nice the dealership was. I had some follow questions regarding a few of the options available in the car. I was called back right away and they continued to make me feel like a valuable customer. All I can say is the people are very friendly there, they keep very high standards there to make everyone feel at home and will go above and beyond to meet your needs.

Lee Beene did an excellent job of selling me an 05 Four Runner with 67K on it. The deal was fair but a 10 year old car with 67K in excellent condition is rare. Dealership is very friendly and easy to work financing if necessary. I would definintely recommend them. They have a very good used car selection.

I take my 2009 Toyota Corolla for oil changes at Toyota of Cool Springs because of their incredible reviews and 2 of my friends purchasing cars from this dealership and LOVED their experience. The first time I went in for an oil change, I was met by Jim and told everything was in great shape, no issues. I was given the 27 point inspection sheet and everything was checked as Jim said and I had no repair issues. The only thing that would need attention is a spiral cable coil involved in a recall and one of my tires had a nail that couldn't be patched. I told Jim I'd bring back the car for the recall repair and left for the day. That was a Monday or Tuesday. I then brought the car in on the following Saturday for the recall repair. At the end of that visit, which was only days later, I was told the mechanic had found that my water pump was leaking and would need to be replaced. Approximately a $565 repair. OMG. What? Jim showed me some crust and water spots under the hood that showed the problem had been there for a while, but he said it was early and didn't need immediate repair, but to keep an eye on it because the pump would need to be replaced. I was floored because the car had JUST been there days earlier and the inspection sheet said all hoses were fine, that there were no leaks in anything...it looked great. How could this happen? I called Steven Burke, the service manager and asked. While on hold for him I also looked up 2009 water pump issues and saw that Toyota Prius had a recall on their water pumps but the Corolla did not yet have a recall, despite numerous customers having issues with the water pump failing around 59k-66k miles. My car has about 67,000 on it and should not need a water pump. I owned a 2007 Saturn before this and also a 1997 Saturn. The 97 needed a water pump when it had 156,000 miles on it and it cost me $150. It ran like a dream and that was its only issue. The 2007 had 110k miles and only needed a sensor repaired, about $200. Both were fantastic cars. I bought this Toyota because of the reputation and I thought I would be home free and only need typical maintenance for a long time. I was super excited to think I wouldn't have issues with the Toyota because of the brand name. What a sickening surprise this was to me. Back to Steve. I asked him how this could happen and he said the technician should have found the problem but didn't and he would find out more to see how he could help me out on the inconvenience. He called back and said they could do the repair for approximately $350. I was appreciative, but still upset that a Toyota with only 67,000 miles needed such a significant repair. I told him I would look around. The next day Steve gave me a call and said that out of goodwill Toyota would repair the car at no charge. I was floored. Absolutely floored. Money is a hardship for me and especially at this time---I was going to have to really, really sacrifice to make the repair. For him to make such an offer to stand by the Toyota name and restore my faith in the brand and that dealership was absolutely awesome to me. He is the reason I will tell everyone to go to Toyota of Cool Springs. He is the reason I'll be a repeat customer. He is the reason I love my car again. He is the reason I will buy a Toyota in the future. Hands down exceptional treatment and customer service. This is how it is done. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

I just bought a used car from Toyota of Cool Springs. My salesman was George Ashmore. I really liked the fact that he listened to me describe exactly what I want. He then proceeded to recommend several options for me and went beyond my expectations. The staff at the dealership were very polite, courteous, friendly and attentive. The car I purchased was for my daughter. She is ecstatic about the car. I have already recommended George to another friend. I will return to Toyota of Cool Springs when I shop for my son's car. C. After taking my FIAT 500 Abarth for its one year service, I surprisingly found out that the "studio" attached to the Chrysler dealership had closed. When I asked the Chrysler service manager about this, he said they were thinking about opening another one in downtown Nashville. But not to worry, there was still one FIAT service tech on hand to work on the cars. That didn't inspire much confidence. So I decided to get rid of the fun little clown car for another. My wife has owned two Scion xBs in the past and I really liked those cars. At first I was looking at the Scion FR-S but decided I wanted something cheaper. So I started reading reviews of the tC and decided to give it a go. The dealership had a black 2014 tC with only 7500 miles on it. The price was VERY good. I had to be at work at 11 am and I live 40 minutes away. So I took the chance and drove to the dealership arriving at 8:50. Someone quickly asked me if I needed help and I was introduced to Patrick. I told him he had 90 minutes to get me out of the FIAT and into the Scion. He said "no problem, we can manage that." We went out for the test ride, I was impressed. I said "I'll take it" and then I filled out the credit app and that was that. Shook hands, agreed on the trade-in price and the monthly payment and signed all the paperwork with the finance officer, Ryan. Everything took less than an hour, including the test drive. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and laid back. I knew what I wanted, my credit is excellent and that was that. It was the easiest, most stress-free car-buying experience I've ever had--and I should know...this was the 11th car that I've purchased between my wife and I over the past six years. That, of course, is another story!

My husband works in the automotive field and we frequently buy, sell and trade cars. We went in to Toyota not quite sure what specific vehicle we were looking for but had a list of criteria. Micah was the salesman that helped us. He listened to what we were looking for and offered us a few options. As it turned out, that day he didn't have what we were looking for but didn't pressure us to buy something that didn't fit our needs. Instead, he worked to find something that did suit us and reached out to us at a later date and we were able to find the perfect vehicle thanks to his efforts. Everyone was very professional and curteous. All along the way everyone there went out of their way to make the process smooth and enjoyable. Having had less than positive experiences at other dealerships with high pressure sales tactics, I can say with confidence that is not the treatment you will receive here. Overall excellent experience and we will be returning customers next time we need a vehicle.

Went in and was greeted immediately by a friendly and polite salesman, he took me directly what i was looking for, he listened to what I could afford and what I wanted and was super helpful. I ended up getting a beautiful little Corolla and had such a fun time buying it that it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be buying my car after my bankruptcy and not having a husband to help. I felt completely confident that i was treated fairly and I am very happy with the experience.

Toyota of Cool Springs ALWAYS provides the best in everything! I cannot speak highly enough of their staff, facilities, honesty when it comes to needing repairs/maintenance done on my Venza....simply everything! Bryan Whitt in the Service Department is truly one of the best employees Toyota of Cool Springs has. He is honest, communicates on a very timely basis as it relates to the repairs being done on my vehicle and is always a positive person. While I did not buy my vehicle from this dealership, this is the only one that I will allow to do maintenance and repairs on my Venza. And when the time comes for a new vehicles, this is where I will be!

Diagnosed made up problems with outrageous repair costs. We got a second opinion. A filter they wanted to replace was 2 weeks old and still white, as our second place showed to us. The work that honestly needed done cost half of what Cool Springs Toyota quoted for that portion of their repair list. Toyota's complete quote $1700, our second opinion $400.

I went in for a regular scheduled maintenance in my car, only to find out that unlike other maintenance shops, they actually looked at every single mechanical thing on my car, which is more than I expected because they provided me with a full report on my camry. They have the latest technology to make this check up efficient, which saved me time and most importantly Money. Turns out my car is in top shape thanks to these folks! They know what they are talking about and if they don't they actually accept they don't know the answer and research it until they find true data to answer your question. This is what customer service is about, great job! I will definitely go back

Sick of $4.00/gallon gasoline and 13 MPG in my large GMC vehicle I traded in March 2012 for a 2012 Camry Hybrid LE. I driven 50,000 miles with an overall 35 MPG including city and long trips. The car has required no mechanical repairs. I purchased a warranty & maintenance plan. My 50,000 maintenance was preformed in under 1 hour. Cool Springs Toyota is a First Class Dealership with a very comfortable atmosphere and friendly professional staff. Victor in sales and DJ in service are excellent employees.

I brought my leased 2012 Corolla in to Toyota Cool Springs to see what my options were instead of returning to the dealership I had been loyal to. Alan Markle waited on me, and spent several hours treating me like a family member. I was open to a new lease, a purchase, or purchasing my leased vehicle. Alan took me for a test drive in a 2015 Corolla, explaining all of its components. LOVED the car, and purchased it that day. I can't say enough about the wonderful treatment I was given by Alan, and will continue to trade vehicles at Toyota Cool Springs.

I've tried internet sales with Toyota of Cool Springs twice..both times I purchased a car from a dealership down the street. Toyota is too busy bringing in the numbers of customers to keep their Internet list up to date. I don't have a problem with fast sales but the industry as a whole needs to figure out real time updates and make some process changes.

My name is Broadus West and I live in lithonia Georgia just outside of Atlanta Georgia, My dream was to own a CTS V. When I started my search I came across the car that I wanted at Toyota of Cool Springs in Franklin Tennessee four hours from my house. I contacted them via email and I will contacted by one of their salesman Denzel P. He assured me that I was in good hands. After negotiations we came to a agreement that we both could live with. I had a trade so I had to drive 4 hours to make the deal. When I arrived I was greeted with courtesy. Denzel treated me like family and he wasn't the only one along with Steve a service advisor Jimmy the loan officer. We got the deal done and it was a pleasant experience I wouldn't recommend this dealership to everyone the people of Franklin Tennessee a jewel in the dealership Toyota of Cool Springs. Thanks guys for making my dreams come true. Toyota of Cool Springs is truly a place that I would do business with again.

Our service writer, Donna, was very nice and friendly. I have just moved to TN from CA. My car was recalled for a minor software update. Car was ready before time quoted. Checked oil change prices as I had one just done at a local oil change chain. Cool Springs Toyota was less and included a car wash! The facilities were very clean and modern. Comfy chairs were available in waiting room. Great experience and I will be back next time I need service of any kind.

Our salesman, Alan - an online rep, was fantastic. Great communicator and very disarming. After looking on the lot, he and the sales manager assessed our desire and found a car in FL at one of their family of dealerships and had it shipped to Franklin for me to look at. It was perfect. The car negotiation was flawless because I think they made an extremely competitive offer up front. I was honest about my trade and I think they were equally honest about what they could do. It was a no haggle, take my breath away, no waiting around experience. And be sure to show up at lunch time and get a free lunch while looking around! Great service department - Jason Gill runs a great shop.

I called the dealership in search of a specific vehicle and within the hour, Ryan Keller confirmed that what I was looking for was available and I could come in and take a look at the vehicle. I love my Highlander and I also feel at ease with the lifetime warranty that came with my vehicle.

I have never purchased from this dealership; this is a review of the service department. Although I own two Toyotas and this dealership is the closest to me, I will never return here. I stopped using them when a service manager tried to sell me a totally unnecessary fuel injection cleaning for several hundred dollars. I am an intelligent person and an informed consumer. Don't try to upsell me on services that the manufacturer does not recommend when I come in for routine service. Then, I started getting calls from a marketing firm that evidently has been hired to mine the internet for contacts. They made a bogus appointment for me, which I went online to cancel (I suppose I then confirmed I was a live contact, unfortunately, I should have just ignored it.) I then received calls to reschedule the bogus appointment, even after I asked to never be contacted again by this marketing company. These kind of aggressive tactics are a complete turn off to me. Business is built on personal relationships, not by call centers. I hope they get many more customer complaints about this and realize what a mistake contracting with this marketing firm was.

-They give excellent service and I like the Place, however, the following concerns should Be addressed. Tech advise consistent with Toyota Motors recommendations and advise properly/record properly. if a problem is found discuss/document issues with clear indication.based on findings and Toyota Motor Maintenance recommendations. if a schedule maintenance is required outside of Toyota Motors recs, then justify this and state so in the bill as opposed to saying (customer requested this etc). y. if a customer requires a specific work discuss the needs/alternatives and advise properly to avoid doing unnecessary and costly maintenance. Positive Aspects - very strong willingness from this dealer to work and satisfy customers. * All service staff is listed on website including the owner with their contact information with is excellent. Above all the owner directly replies to customer emails within minutes for all concerns which Is extremely important and rare and speaks volumes About the desire/dedication to ensure complete satisfaction and this positive quality is highly appreciated BOTTOM LINE- Excellent dealership/Hope they will work with me to fix my issues.and as long as they continue to engage with customers and improve the Process, they will stay on top of their game. Thank you.

Recently purchased a used car there with a window regulator that didn't work but no one told us so. I informed the salesman when we discovered the issue just a couple of days after the sale but no help from him and the sales manager couldn't have cared less. My wife and I had spent ~$100,000 at this dealership since 2008 yet they wouldn't do anything for us over a couple of hundred dollars in repair costs for something they should have told us about to begin with. Will never ever buy another automobile from these scheisters again.

My wife and I had the pleasure of buying our first new car from Cool Springs. Viktor was the best salesman that we had talked to during our search. We live an hour away and happened to be close to the dealership so I just stop to check inventory of the Prius C's. We were not pressured at all and the whole process has me ready to drive an hour to see Viktor when the need arises. The inventory was very colorful with different option packages available. I wasn't impressed with our local dealer. Viktor was very knowledgeable of the vehicle and we felt very welcome at this dealership. A+++++++

I just moved to the Nashville area, so this was my first visit to Toyota of Cool Springs. The service representative was very friendly and explained clearly what would be done to my Prius (120K mile service). When additional work was recommended, he asked me to make sure it had not already been done somewhere else. When I picked up the car, he went over everything, including the inspection reports, and explained how to understand the bill. They provide a complimentary car wash and a free bar of chocolate! The waiting area is very accommodating and I stayed there quite a while after picking up my car in the late afternoon, to bide my time before going to a nearby appointment, and my service rep encouraged me to relax there make myself at home.

I just purchased a vehicle from this dealership and was pleased to report having an overall pleasant experience. No high pressure sales, calm attitudes amongst the employees and a pleasant atmosphere. I went for routine 50K service and was on my way within an hour. The staff was VERY nice and friendly, and the waiting area was comfortable and clean. I find the service at this dealership perfectly satisfactory. I had three recent services and recalls; all of these were done quickly and special effort was made to explain what was done and why, even going to the extra mile of recommending new tires in the near future. The available tires were discussed and the Service Advisor was kind enough to mention that the tires he likes himself will be on sale in about two months. He was knowledgeable for the reasons for the recalls and I found that the vehicle (with no problems I was aware of) drove significantly better after the recall work. The waiting area is well designed. Even their coffee was above "Institution Grade"!

After I had an involuntary encounter with a wooden pole in my parking lot, I took it to Toyota Cool Springs since the shop is in my neighborhood. Not only did they give me a very reasonable estimate, they took my car in right there and then and I had it back three days later all shiny and new looking. The actual cost was the exact same of the estimate and the customer service couldn't have been better! Very attentive and friendly. I got stuck in a terrible lease. Went there to buy out of it and get a new Tacoma. Came to found out that the leasing company wanted the dealership $6k more than the buyout price they quoted me! Needless to say this spoiled the deal, however Greg the sales manager still gave me advice, then negotiated the process of helping me buy out the lease myself and ensuring a great deal on a new car so that I can go back and trade in later. Victor my sales rep was amazing and high energy. Best ever. They let me use their fax long distance, receive faxes, and even paid to overnight documentation for my buyout, without any guarantee I would buy from them. Top notch.

Before driving 5 hours to see the car in person, I requested photos of every flaw so I was not surprised. I was told the interior was absolutely spotless and there was only two scratches on the front and back bumper. Turns out, there was a key scratch down the entire side and a crack in the windshield. I decided to purchase the car after they agreed to fix the scratch, fix the broken back up camera and clean the FOOD out of the car. After waiting 3 hours, they brought the car back and nothing had been done. I had to head home because I did not want to stay in a hotel another night, so I could not keep waiting for them to clean and fix the car. The salesman disappeared as soon as we signed the paperwork so I had to ask around to try to get the second key and the temp tag put on! Two days later, giant stains popped up on every single seat. I spoke to the manager who refused to do anything and the owner refused to call me back. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Salesman was great! I was told our tag would be mailed and went through financing. No tag came, after I called when I noticed the drive out was expiring they have me a new one. A week before this I received a call stating they needed to charge me additional tag fees. This should have been taken care of on the day of financing! I asked if they could transfer my open tag to the vehicle , no call back still no tag! It seems that at the time of purchase they had no one in the title department (employment issue) not my problem. I was told numerous times tags will be mailed. A dealership of this size should know how to handle an out of state tag and be able to take care of a mistake that they made! I have made multiple out of state vehicle purchases and never had this much trouble. I have had to make multiple calls. No one calls me unless I call them. Hello Toyota of Cool Springs! Please take care if this as we are on drive out tag number two and so far you have not registered my vehicle!!!!!!

I am impressed with how this Dealership has positively separated itself from Dealerships in my past buying experiences...I have bought over 40 new cars in my 70+ years, and always prepared myself for battle, before heading into the "war" with the sales people, and then debating their sales-manager for hours. I was amazed when none of this type of tactic was introduced...Viktor Barberena was a complete gentleman throughout the sales process and treated me and my wife with respect and courtesy. George G., the General Manager was introduced to us, and was like wise, courteous and cordial. Thanks to Viktor and George...A pleasant buying experience!!

Came in to look at a used car. Salesman and his wife team started working on us immediately. Salesman went to find cars while assist started trying to get all our info including filling out a credit report. Finally after 15 min he came to get us to show us the one car he thought was perfect for us. We did not like it, so wanted to look at other cars. After several cars and wondering around a little, the salesman seemed to be getting a little frustrated. After we got back from our test drive with his assistant, he had the next perfect car for us. Offered us a Cadillac Diville for $8500. I pulled up KBB and it said car was worth $2850. My budget was $7200, so after wanting some time to think about it, he offered to try to talk them down. Brought back his manager, and did drop the price quickly to meet out $7200 budget. Still feeling something was not right, since KBB would not go over $3000 for the car, I told him I wanted to think about it, and he very rudely said ""fine", turned his back on us and sat down with some other customers. Pulled up their website after I got home and they had that car listed for $6794. Needless to say, I will never set foot back in that dealership.

I had a bad experience with this dealership. Found a specific car I had been searching for at this dealership and made an appointment with Matt to test drive the following morning. I arrived at 9:00am, as soon as they opened, and still had to wait 30mins. Matt pulled the car up, and we got in and started it for a test drive. At that time a porter came out and said that car had already been sold. Matt went in to discuss with sales manager. After waiting alone in the car for 10mins, I went back inside. The car I drove 45mins to see had been sold. The sales manager apologized and said they would find something comparable for me. After 3 hours of looking at other cars, they gave me a price on a car I liked that was way over my budget! I left infuriated! Cool Springs Toyota wasted my entire morning.

I have a very busy schedule and sometimes I have to reschedule or even schedule again after that, toyota of cool spring's staff are always helpful, polite, and professional. They are the best car company with buying or selling vehicles to getting your vehicle maintenance to deal with, I always recommend toyota of cool springs to individuals interested in buying a car. Feedback on your Service Reception experience. The staff does not keep you waiting what so ever, they are all in a good, positive, funny mood. They keep you updated on the waiting time and overall makes the time spent there enjoyable. Compliments or concerns about the Service Advisor They are always polite, funny, and respectful.

Richard was truly amazing to work with. It was my first car-leasing experience and he made me feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. He was patient, answered every question I have and was honest and respectful. He's the reason my husband and I will work with Toyota of Cool Springs for every car need we have from here on out. He and Doug (finance) made lifelong customers out of us. Richard was very straightforward with us about how negotiable the car's price was. It didn't feel like it was a numbers game with him. When he told us that the number on the piece of paper was the best that Toyota could do, I believed him. He lobbied on our behalf to get the price down, and then towed the line with us in a respectful, assertive but not aggressive way. He seemed happy to work with us, and ran multiple pricing scenarios for us without losing patience or enthusiasm. He seemed invested in making the lease work for our budget, and we walked away feeling satisfied with the deal we got, and exceedingly happy with the level of service Rich gave us.

Victor was one of the best sales people, in the car industry, that we have come across. We have been wanting to purchase a Toyota Rav4 and had been looking for well over 8 months. Victor was a friend right from the beginning, and we left feeling like we made the best decision and the wait was worth it. Based on this experience we will be lifetime guests to Cool Springs Toyota. Matt did a great job explaining all the paper work and also making us feel comfortable there. We just left from getting the Perma Plate done to my new car and Steven Burke was extremely nice and yet again we left feeling very pleased and happy with this decision. All the staff at Toyota Cool Springs has made this experience for us very welcoming! It's greatly appreciated, and we will be recommending Cool Springs Toyota to anyone and everyone that we can.

When you walk onto the lot, the staff there is very helpful! They make you feel valued and that they are interested in your business. However they make promises they do not keep. They offer a "referral rebate" in which they promise to give you $200. for every person you refer to the dealership that purchases a new vehicle. They also promised a lifetime warranty on your car. Now I am starting to doubt this ever happening! Why? This dealership sold 3 new vehicles due to business generated by people in my family. I have had to HOUND them for nearly 6 months to get my "referral rebate" and my son is still waiting on his. If we could take it all back and go to a dealership in Clarksville, TN we would. It is like they promise you something and then you have to FIGHT to get it! I hope it is not that way with the "lifetime warranty."

I wanted the brand new Avalon and looked everywhere for the best deal possible. This dealership was it and the experience was amazing.....and i am 600 MILES AWAY. JD was a great person to deal with and his sales manager, Greg Alderman, is even better. When i get to the point of trying to figure out the best way possible to take delivery of my new Avalon....they said, "we got this!" Next thing I know, a day after finalizing my deal over the phone, i am sitting in my brand new car in Jacksonville, FL. Marvin drove down, delivered the car and thanked me more than i could thank him. Amazing experience with never meeting any of them (other than Marvin) face-to-face. I would, and do, recommend this dealership to anyone!!!!

Was very knowledgeable and explained the features of the car very well. Simple and easy. He appraised my vehicle and provided payment options. We reached an agreeable price rather quickly. Rocky was very thorough and explained the warranty and other options carefully. It was late, after closing, but the car was washed and ready in their 'take delivery' area. Richard explained many things and made certain we understood to play the instruction DVD as it would provide a good overview of the features and other things. We took a few pictures and were on our way. Cool Springs Toyota is on our Facebook page now. Clean, neat, well laid out. Very easy access from the interstate. One thing dealer should change to keep you a loyal customer Nothing really. Very happy at this point. Just keep doing what they are doing... being very customer friendly. Being an easy place to do business.

After locating a vehicle of interest on the internet, I called Toyota of Cool Springs and was greeted by Salesperson, Tye Gazoo. He was outstanding to work with, treated me like a VIP, and the next day, I drove home in my new Prius V. I spent an extended amount of time reviewing paperwork and considering warranty options. The knowledge I received during the process helped me with critical decision-making. I have no complaints. Extremely nice and clean with customer service being ahead of its game; better than any dealership I have ever visited. Nothing comes to mind at this time. One thing dealer should continue to keep you a loyal customer During business hours, always have a human being available to answer the phone. In an age of voice mail, it is so refreshing to be able to call and speak directly with someone who is pleasant and willing to assist.

This is the first time I have ever written an online review, but I am so impressed with Toyota of Cool Springs that I had to let others know about it! First let me be honest...I do not like salesman nor the gimmicks and pressure tactics they employ, in fact it is because of this that I drove an hour to shop at Toyota of CoolSprings because of their exceptional online reviews. From the first moment we pulled into the parking lot to our first encounter with our salesman Ethan we knew something was different about this dealership...they were no gaggle of salesman waiting at the front entrance waiting to pounce on the next victim that drives into the parking lot, nor were there giant purple blow-up gorillas waving in the wind trying to get your attention from the interstate. This dealership is classy! We felt absolutely zero buying pressure, which made the entire experience enjoyable and allowed us to keep our guard down so we could enjoy driving a new vehicle. Because of this EXCELLENT experience, great prices and lifetime warranty, we drove away with a brand new 2013 Camry that we absolutely love! However the service doesn't stop at the purchase phase, we brought our new car in the following week to have windows tinted and PermaPlate installed and were met with the same level of excellent customer service from Darryl in the service department as we did the day we bought the vehicle...needless to say Toyota of Cool Springs has earned a long-time customer and is where I will be buying my daughters graduation present this year as well. Thank you Toyota of Cool Springs for your attention to detail, which includes everything from the great tasting coffee, too the cleanliness of your facility and bathrooms, too the exceptional customer service of your employees and lack of sleazy tactics! You truly made us feel like Lexus owners on a Toyota budget! Chris

This was the BEST experience I ever had with a salesperson and dealership. George Ashmore & Toyota of Cool Springs will get my business for life. I normaiiy hate when I am in need for a new car, because of having to deal with the process. Always had pushy salepeople or managers behind the scenes trying to get every penny I had. BUT this experience was totally different. George knew his product, went over my options, gave me a fair price & was there for me after the sale. There is a lot of technology in these vehicles, so I am always calling George. He ALWAYS knows the correct answer. And I was also able to meet the very nice owner of the dealership (His name was George too). If you are in need of a vehicle and want a great experience, GO SEE THE TWO GEORGE's at Toyota of Cool Springs.

Sales force acted like vultures attending to customer prey. Salesman had very poor listening skills in relating to customer need and management staff when summoned into the process to complete the sale demonstrated and an unwillingness to listen to our concerns, but rather complete the sale. The Finance Officer did not understand or answer questions related to a previous service product purchase but stated someone else in the dealership would work our concerns out. This person was not summoned. (In particular, we raised questions about credit applicability we could expect to attain from the previous vehcile we bought at this dealer location. Yes, the dealership had changed hands, but we were given assurance that the dealership would help us get get this money back, nor, even when asked, they did not explain the ramifications of this financial transaction. Those facts became negatively clear after the 3 day car purchase return policy. When we sought to get clarity, we returned to the dealership but were told to return and see the Finance manager several days later. Sadly, the only reason we chose to procure this vehicle was based on the fact we did not want to throw this incentive away...and as a result, we truly left this car purchase feeling scammed by a dealership (Salesman, Sales Manager and Finance Office) whose only concern was profit over understanding customer need or desire. We like the Toyota product...but this dealership has lost our business.

My salesperson (Barry/Chris White) was SO GREAT. I test drove at Cool Springs and also ended up buying there, and through the entire process my salesperson was extremely friendly, helpful, and kept in touch without being annoying or stalky. He answered all my questions and made me feel like he would be happy to sell me a car without making me feel rushed or pressured. He was gracious and awesome when I explained that I was going to check in at a couple of other dealerships first, and was gracious and awesome again when I decided to purchase the car at Cool Springs, but forgot the title to my trade-in and had to go back home to get it. I can't say enough good things about him.I wanted to call around and ask several dealerships about price. I know this is not a dealership's favorite way to do business, and one dealership in the area was downright rude and snotty about it. Cool Springs employees, however, took me seriously, understood what I wanted to do, and were friendly and gracious about it. They could very easily have just phoned it in, but instead they were happy to do business the way I asked, and due to this I had the best car-buying experience of my life so far.

Make sure they keep as a Service Advisor a gentleman named Bill Lowman and make sure they keep a salesman named Larry who sold us our 2008 Toyota 5 years ago. He is the best salesman. They are both the best in the business at what they do.

Darryl Caruthers is the reason for the BEST service experience I have EVER had. He is courteous, informative, professional, and funny. I felt like he cared about my car situation, and he was very straightforward and kind in explaining my vehicle needs. He really EXCEEDED my expectations, especially when I picked up my van, paid my $2500 bill, and saw that he had my horrendously dirty van (because we were in the middle of moving) detailed . . . it was shiny and clean!! The cargo in the back was even organized and neatly put back. I am very appreciative of such service. I have told all of my friends who drive a Toyota to see Darryl whenever they have service needs.

I have been meaning to write a review for a while about my great experience with George Ashmore at Toyota of Cool Springs. My family have bought several vehicle from George over the years. He has been there forever. Not only does he treat us great before and during the sales, but he takes care of all of us after the sale. I am always needing George to set up a service appointment, pair another new phone to my Bluetooth, or just answer any question about the vehicles we purchase. He always has an answer and does it without ever complaining. I know I probably get on his nerves sometimes, but I would never know by the way he comes to my rescue. If you ever need a new or used vehicle...call George Ashmore at Toyota of Cool Springs. I even know the number by heart now (615)790-8401.

Went to Toyota of Cool Springs to just look for a new vehicle. My old Ford is about on it's last leg. Anyway, didn't know what I wanted, so I was just looking at everything. I was approached by Christopher Wright and he helped me narrow down what I was looking for. He rattled off everything about every car, features/colors, etc. and that helped my decision making. He suggested the Camry. I took it for a test drive and fell in love with it! It has so many features and gadgets in it! Thanks, Toyota of Cool Springs! My advice?? Go see him and he'll help you too!!!!

I initially inquired online about a new Camry SE and sent out my request to several dealerships. Toyota of Cool Springs was the first one to respond back and actually give me the information I requested. After several email exchanges I decided to go down and see them and check out their lifetime warranty to see what it was all about. I met with Ryan Denson and he was easily the least pushy salesman I've had in my twenty years of buying cars. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions without dodging them as I've experienced many times in the past. He made sure I knew everything I needed and wanted to know about my new car and went thru the lifetime warranty in detail. Let me tell you it's real and it's a great selling point for me as I keep my cars for awhile. Ryan made sure to give me an excellent sales experience and go above and beyond even what I expected from a salesman. He even called me the next day to make sure I didn't have any more questions. I really appreciate the effort that he and the dealership made to make sure I had a great buying experience and I will recommend him to anyone I know that's in the market.

There was no pressure at all and everyone was very helpful. I ended up purchasing a Prius and I love it!! I would recommend Robert and all of the friendly staff at Toyota of Cool Springs to all of my friends and family!

He had 4 names. He was the best. I have bought a ton of cars, about 2 a year and he did not try the normal games. He just asked me up front what I was trying to accomplish and he got it done. So if you don't want to play games and just buy a car ask for John Carl Yalden Schmidt

I bought a new Camry and I love it! I got a better deal than I had expected! My salesman was laid back and very easy to talk to! The best thing about the whole experience was the other salesman actually seemed very happy to be at work and smiled the whole time I was there. Unlike the other dealership downtown, these guys seem to love what they do and made me feel like I was the only customer they had all day!

Cared more about selling me a car than helping me with problems afterwards. Bought a brand new Camry. The drivers seat was great on a test drive. After a 30 minute drive I began to have back pain. Horribly uncomfortable seats. Tried everything, every position. Back was always in an awkward position. Back still hurts badly after a week. Threw lots of money away. Awful experience. They pressure you, then dump you.

Two days prior to needing service, I called and set up an appointment go take my daughter's Corolla to Toyota of Cool Springs. We had a 10:00 a.m. appointment for an oil change and to look at three tires that kept going low. I was coming in from Alabama and picking her up at the dealer. She had the car there as scheduled and told Bill that she'd be back at 2:00. We got back at 2:30, 4.5 hours later and the car had not been touched! He said he was sorry, but there were people in the waiting area who had been there for 2.5 hours and their cars had not been seen. I DID have an appointment. The dealer KNEW the car was coming. I was not a happy camper, to say the least. Rather than have my daughter wait an hour or so and get caught up in terrible Friday afternoon Nashville traffic, we left. I've never had this happen at our Toyota dealer in Huntsville. We won't be using Toyota of Cool Springs again.

I was interested in a used car, I had one to trade in as well. This dealer offered me less than half of what a different Toyota dealer offered me. It was an insult and I will never step foot on this lot again.

My family and I drove an hour one Saturday from our home to Nashville to look at used cars since we had exhausted our selection near our home. We started with Toyota of Cool Springs because of a used 1998 Honda CR-V (~$4500) and a 2005 VW Golf (~$7541). Patrick Howard started by leading to where the 2 two cars were. I followed, but my wife (fresh off knee surgery) and our 2 kids were going to follow me, but there was a new gate that was closed (not locked, which I found out later) and Kenny kept walking toward the cars without even offering to open the gate for her to follow us to give her input on the cars. My wife said to just go since he wasnt stopping, but this mad her really mad since Patrick Howard said he could have opened the gate after we got back. I chalked Patrick up to just being put out that I wasnt going to buy a new car. Still, crappy.right off the bat. We walked past the 05 Golf (which was really nice looking and nowhere near the stock photo online) and I had to tell Patrick to stop to look at this car even though he was very hesitant to stop and show me the car. We glanced at it and then went to look at the CR-V and after not being able to get it startedI said I wanted to go look at the Golf. I then found out why he was so hesitant (to the point of not offering to unlock it to allow me to look at it).there was a mechanic that worked there and he was interested in the car too. In fact, after I finally got him to go get the keys to open it, I found a pack of cigarettes. The mechanic had been driving the car home at night (Patrick Howard told me this) SMOKING in it for the past week or so. Let me add that the car was from a non smoker before the mechanic got it (I verified this with 3 different employees). Patrick told me that the mechanic was trying to get a loan for the car and that it was on hold for him until his paperwork results came back. Patrick also stated that he didnt want to push the issue since he works with the mechanic and doesnt want to make him mad. I immediately told him I didnt care how mad the mechanic got or about his working relationship with him. I said you people are grown adults and should act as such. I asked why the car was posted for sale if it was on hold and never got an answer. I told him that I called that morning on the way there to see if the car was still for sale and the guy I talked to said that it was still for sale and never mentioned it being on hold. I wanted to test drive it, but was told I couldnt because it was on hold, even though I was going to pay cash for the vehicle. I went to look at some other used cars in my price range and when I got ready to leave the main office I noticed the mechanic walking through the front door and was talking about getting the loan. So to recap the 05 Golf situation: 1)I couldnt test drive it because an employee wanted it. 2)The employee mechanic had been driving the car home SMOKING in it for over a week without his name on the title or loan application (which wasnt even processed yet). 3)The employee mechanic stopped working on a car in the shop to go try to talk to someone about his loan. I cant verify that he clocked out for this task, but with what has happened so farI can assume he didnt. Now I told Patrick Howard that I was still interested in the Golf even though I still havent test drove the car yet (it was a really nice car and VWs are great cars too) and Patrick said that he would find out about the loan for the employee and call me in an hour.that was said around 11:30 a.m. My family and I stopped by a couple of other dealerships to look and after a couple of hours (around 1:30) I called Patrick to see what he found out. He said he was going to talk to the accounting people and get back with me. I asked if he had already done that and he said that it has been busy and he would do that. I said ok and hung up. My family grabbed lunch and looked for about 2.5 hrs more before I called Patrick again. He said that he still hasnt heard anything. I asked how that was possible, because if I had looked into financing the carI wouldve had a response within 20 minutes (like most people). Patrick then put me on hold and transferred me to someone that said if I was still interested in the car, I could come test drive it. AWWWWW results. When I got to Toyota of Cool Springs, I was greeted by Patrick Howard, which I immediately told him to go find me someone else to deal with. After a few minutes, I was dealing with another salesman, but didnt get his card and cant remember his name. He was OK, but while I was driving the car, the check engine light came on and the temperature gauge never moved. I asked if he knew why the temp gauge never moved and the guy said he never noticed it. I also asked this salesman how a car could be for sale even though it was on hold for an employee that wasnt even approved to purchase it. The gentleman proceeded to tell me that he thinks the mechanic slide the paper work under a stack of other stuff to hide it and buy him some time to find out about financing. I was thinking about having to apply to work for Toyota of Cool Springs to buy this car since they take care of the employees over the customers. So when I got back to the dealership, I talked with a used car sales manager named Kenny Hedgepath. Kenny said the car was inspected by the mechanic that was interested in the car. I asked to see the report the mechanic did and he couldnt come up with one. Kenny said he didnt know if the mechanic filled out a report. Kenny didnt even know if the mechanic had clocked out to do the inspection. I ask Kenny Hedgepath how it was possible for an employee to inspect a car for issues before its posted for sale and not fill out a report. Kenny said he thought that since the mechanic was interested in the car and wanted to buy it that he didnt need to fill out a report. I proceeded to ask Kenny how Toyota of Cool Springs could post a car for sale that has claimed to be inspected by the shop and not have a report, but got no answer that would have made sense to a 5 year old let alone a paying customer. But what really got me frustrated with Kenny Hedgepath is that when I asked how an employee: A)Who hasnt been approved for financing in over a week (the other salesman mentioned that the mechanic has been trying for a few days to get approved), B)Who doesnt own the car, C)Is allowed to drive a car home that is for sale to the general public, and D)Is allowed to SMOKE in it without possessing the title of the approval letter from financing. The answer Kenny gives me is just totally awesome.Kenny states that he has no control over what an employee does when he is in the car driving it. I sarcastically laughed a little and said that HE as the Used Car Sales Manager has the complete authority to prohibit and employee from driving a for sale car home and for sure NOT SMOKING in it. I asked what the owner of Toyota of Cool Springs would think about this situation. Kenny totally agreed with me on that but said that the mechanic was probably showing the car off to someone and had been taking it home for that reason. REALLY, so a mechanic not a salesman can take a car home and SMOKE in it to show it to someone!?!?! What kind of dealership is this??? The mechanics are salesman too?? Not a very good salesmanSMOKING in it. After all that Kenny said that he would have the car looked at to figure out why the check engine light was on and why the temp gauge didnt move and should know something by lunch on Monday since the shop was closed on Sunday. Just so everyone knows I was still interested in the car. It was still early in the SMOKING to get the smell outalbeit a few weeks of constant cleaning. The next day (Sunday) I was looking at cars again to get a list together, just in case the VW Golf didnt work out. I noticed on Toyota of Cool Springs website that the Golf had went up in price $500 in the last 14 hours.even though it had not be looked at to see what was wrong with it. Now on Monday morning around 6:30 a.m., I noticed on either autotrader.com or cars.com that the car was priced for ~$8900 (YES.thats right, over $1300 more than what it was selling for Saturday morning, even before it was looked at). Kenny did call me Monday around lunch to tell me that they were going to have to take it to VW to get it looked at since they thought it might be a thermostat, water pump or some temperature sensor. I can understand that, they are a Toyota place and German cars are different. I asked when they would know about the issues, but he didnt know. I then proceeded to ask why the price went up to ~$8900. Kenny said that he didnt know. I asked how a Used Car Sales Manger couldnt know why the price on a used car in his lot going up. Kenny then just stopped talked about the money and asked if I wanted the car. I told him after all that I had been through; I was still willing to try to work it out, but having the price go through the roof and having no reason why, was unacceptable. I told Kenny Hedgepath that I wasnt interested in car or any car from Toyota of Cool Springs. Kenny said that he did all he said he would do and he was correct. But I stated that he did something extra by trying to blow smoke up my skirt by telling me that he didnt have control over employees SMOKING in a car that was for sale and by not explaining my the price sky-rocketed. This was my fiasco with Toyota of Cool Springs. I only want to expose everyone to what I had to go through with them. I hope whoever deals with them has a better experience than I did. I would recommend that if you are interested in buying a car with Toyota of Cool Springs, you might want to fill out a work application. It seems like they take care of the employees better than the customers.

The sales people are ignorant of their own advertised prices and jack the price 10% upon inquiry. I've approached Toyotal Coolsprings 3 times to buy a car, but their response is slimey and dishonest. They lead with their online or advertised prices then raise them when I arrived or switch with a different vehicle. This happened the first time to me but I reckoned it to just a single bad situation. But it happened again upon inquiring of another different vehicle 2 months later. If Toyota Coolsprings would be honest and straight forward instead of obfuscationist, they could have earned 2 new car sales from me, but it ain't gonna happen. If this is how their pre-sales teams work, how bad can the post-sales service team be?

They sold us a vehicle with a salvaged title and never revealed it to us. The salesman had the carfax and said "I have to tell you this car was in an accident in 2006 but now we are 6 years later and the car's still doing ok so it couldn't have been too bad". He never actually showed us the carfax, but held it close to his chest while he told us about the accident. Then had me sign a paper that he told me about the accident. There was no copy of the carfax with the car when I picked it up and when I called to ask for it, it took them three days to get it to me. They claimed computer trouble, but meanwhile, the 3 day warranty they gave us was up by then. Now, they claim, we signed the paper stating we saw the carfax! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM, THEY ARE NOT UPFRONT WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS!

Toyota of Cool Spring is where I ended up buying a new car and to my surprise, my son bought a new truck. Lee Beene greeted us and from that moment we were taken care of above and beyond. I bought a Prius C III and my son bought a Tacoma. I can't find the words to describe how Lee and the rest of the support staff took the time and patience to cater to us while we made decisions. Believe me I can be a handful when it comes to making the right choices. You not only commit to a car and payments, you are making a decision to whom you want a relationship with when it comes to taking care of your car. I shopped like a mad person getting quotes and test driving cars. Lee beat every quote and I now have a car with a "Lifetime Power Train" PLUS warranty. I also bought a package that now I do not pay for maintenance or if anything goes wrong it will be fixed. They also have a service(I suggest everyone get this) that coats your car and interior that will protect it from any damages(eaxcept keying) rocks will bounce off and you NEVER have to wax it. THEN the interior is protected from stains and EVEN cigarette burns(they will repair/replace the place burned) Hey, keep reading, THEN, if ya need a car wash?, yep just stop by and see Lee and he will have it washed anytime for as long as you own it. Oh, and oil changes, they give you 2 years of those too. This dealership bends over backwards to make sure YOU are happy..They are "In it to win it" and they are doing just that... Can you believe it, all you have to do is make the payment and drive without any worries....and that is why I will never go anywhere else.....Oh, I forgot, they also explain in detail all your paperwork and I know how confusing that can be.... Simply put, I am driving the best car with the best care and without any worries from the BEST TOYOTA DEALERSHIP around...Give them a call or simply stop by...Enjoy the best prices and after care there is....

John's professionalism was the worst that I have ever seen. I feel that he should have been fired by now. Do not trust a word this man says; he does not care about you and just wants to sell a car. I would imagine that if this behavior is tolerated then the entire dealership is this way, too (just my opinion).John had assured me in our earlier phone conversations, that he was going to overnight my tag because the temporary tag was expiring the next day. So when I did not receive the car tag next day, I called him he said it would cost me $150 to overnight the tag and that I needed to come by the dealership to get my tag. As a salesman, John has no moral values and only cares about his commission; after that, he acts as if he does not even know a person after he makes his money. I even spoke to John's general manager and asked his name, which he refused. Be very careful with John and his general manager as they both are the same! From the beginning he lies to you at any cost and just wants to make sale.As a professional business owner, it could be said that I have high standards on how a person should be treated in a business transaction, but I am certain that ANY person would have been very upset at these circumstances.I will not buy another car from and will never do any business there again. Just read the review on this dealership before even going out there.

Ok...so first off I haven't had any service repairs yet so that one I just gave that one a 3,but definately an overall 5 and these are the reasons why: I had been seriously looking for a car for over a month, checking on the internet, comparing car insurance rates for vehicles that I was interested in... I was on my way downtown to another well known dealer when I stopped by Cool Springs Toyota and purchased a 2010 Rav 4 in March 2012. Honestly, I lllloooove it! The Rav has just enough space for me to haul around what I need and I get so many compliments on it. I've always wanted a Rav, now I have one.I am averaging 25 mpg in the city and with gas prices seeming to rise almost daily, whew I really save on this one. My Rav was well maintained, still under warranty and a one owner. My salesperson Celeste Hunter was pleasant, very knowledgable and cool. I did not feel like any games were being played. It was about getting me the car I wanted. I traded a 1994 Lexus and got more than I thought I would get for it. I knew going in that my credit score was pretty good. I had already gotten financing, but then I was blown away when Celeste asked me if they could beat the rate I had, would I go with Toyota? I already had a realllllllllllly good rate, but they beat that rate. If you buy, give Celeste a try. She will get the deal done.

On 14 December 2011 presented my 2005 Toyota Camry Solara for service including replacement of left front wheel bearing. Several days later started to hear sounds coming from left front wheel similar to the sounds that caused my initial visit. Returned the car on 26 December 2011. This visit resulted in the wheel bearing being replaced again along with other parts including the left axle. Picked the car up on 27 December 2011. On 29 December 2011 had to have the car towed into the dealership due to LOUD screeching noise originating from the left front wheel. This time it was alleged that the brake pad was improperly installed and was scraping the rotor. My Christmas Holidays were ruined and the safety of me and my family was jeopardized repeatedly as the result of shoddy workmanship.

I was in the market for a used car, and had done much searching for a great used car. I was looking for a very specific vehicle, so finding one locally was difficult, when the seems to only be around 10 on the market at anyone time in the Mid-West with the right features (i.e. color, interior, transmission, engine, trim package, etc.). I am very good at buying vehicles out of state and over the internet with out problems, as I have purchased most of my vehicles this way for around 10 years with-out ANY issues at all. There are a lot of horror stories out there about buying on-line or on E-bay but I believe that I have been able to do this with no issues do to being extremely thorough. I spoke to the Sales person, Jim, 5 or six times before making the decision to take a 7 hour drive to look at the car (and of course buy it and bring it home... since I had been so thorough I knew there were no problems.) When I arrived it only took at 20 seconds to realize that Jim had not been honest with me at all. AFter looking at the horrible scratched rear number, the large ding in the driver door the scratches in the driver fender, the rock chips in the front bumper and hood, and the dent the passenger rear quarter panel. I asked Jim What is this!... do you remember when I asked you to please take a picture of every single imperfection on the interior and exterior, including paint chips, dents, dings, rust and so on, so that I will not be surprised of anything on this car, if i decide to come and take a look at it. I realize that this is a used car, so there WILL be a few of this issues, but I do not want any surprises!" Jim replied, " Sir I am going to take some pictures for you, but I do not know what to take a picture of to show you, because there are no dents, nicks, dings, or scratches of any type. This car is in show room condition. It does not need anything, and you are really going to be impressed when you come to look at it. " I said great I am looking forward to it (obviously, right? I mean if there car has everything that I am looking for with no imperfections.. then I would be excited to have this one)As you can see this was not the case....I asked Jim " Why did you Lie to me about this car?"Jim responded " I did not lie to you"I asked Jim, "Have you shown this car to anyone else?" (BTW I already knew that they had... because he had told be on the phone)Jim responded, " Yes I have."I asked Jim, "Did the person you showed the car to not notice all of these imperfections?Jim responded, "Well... umm.. yes, i guess they may have noticed one or two of them"I asked Jim, "then you were aware of the issues"Jim responded, "i guess"I asked Jim, " then why did you lie to me?"Jim responded, " I did not lie to you"see where this conversation is going?? No Where. I felt like I was teaching an Elementary School class, and babysitting Jim, as his professionalism was the worst that I have ever seen. I feel that he should have been fired for that alone, and he has not. Because of this I want to be sure that others are not taken but this guy. Do not trust a work this man says, he does not care about you, and just wants to sell a car. I would imagine if this behavior is tolerated that the entire dealership is this way, too (just my opinion).By the way, Jim had assured me in our earlier phone conversations, that he was very good at his job, since he had been doing this for 9 years. Apparently 9 years was a great opportunity to learn how to leave his morals behind. Please be careful !Also... I drove the car, as I wanted to see what else the guy lied about. everything was pretty good, except when taking off, and it felt like the car was going to fall apart from the shanking... it felt like a warped flywheel / pressure plate, and i would guess it need an whole new clutch kit. I was promised the car had been through their maintenance department, and all mechanical issues were repaired, and the car was going to be professionally detailed.. once again a LIE.All of the floor mats, and console / cup holder rubber pieces where also found in the truck and glove compartment, covered in EXTREME filth and grime. If they can't even detail the car how much do they care???The manager did fill my tank, and tried to help with the situation... but there was nothing to do.. wasted my day and would not compensate me for the tank I used on the trip down there. As a professional business owner it could be said that I have high standards on how a person should be treated in a business transaction, but I am certain that ANY person would have been very upset at these circumstances.I showed the dealership that certified check I had bank write, as i was paying for the car In-Full... and that I was not there to play around, but I did not buy the car, and I will never do business here again.
