I have never had a good experience with this dealership. I purchased my truck 2 years ago. It was used and runs great, but the buying process was very bad. They said they would give me $1,000 off the vehicle then they just removed adders they had already built into the price that I didn't need. They had a $500.00 charge for a truck finding app. I washed the truck several weeks later and found out the chrome on all four rims were peeling off. The rims looked great when purchased the vehicle. I'm guessing they sprayed them to look new when selling the vehicle. Next is the service center. Had them replace a light that went out, however they didn't install correctly and went out one week after replaced. I tried to call today and set up an appointment for an oil change and state inspection. They are no longer taking appoints for oil changes. I would not get my oil change here, but i get free oil changes for the life of the vehicle.

I purchased a used Avalon from Toyota of Katy. I live 350 miles away, and I had to do most of my research online and through email. Ayeshah Khan was outstanding and very helpful. I was treated with the utmost care. I also met Jim Rodriguez while there purchasing my vehicle. The dealership was a very pleasant palce to be during my purchase. I am very happy with the transaction and especially happy with Ayeshah. Since there is a Toyota dealership in my city, I could have tried to find my vehicle there, but I have never felt welcome at my local Toyota dealership. It was worth the 6 hour one-way drive to deal with Toyota of Katy. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone.

I came to dealership just to look for a used car. Courtney Gillings met me in the parking lot when I first arrived as was very helpful! I drove off with a used Rav 4 and was very happy. I did notice a noise when I turned the car. I called Courtney the very next day and he told me to bring the car back and they would take a look at it. The next three days were not good. The service department kept saying the car was going to be ready and it wasn't. Courtney called me and told me to come to dealership and he would fix this problem. He put me in another Rav 4 with no problems at all. He was so helpful and made sure I was very satisfied. If your looking for a new or used car I would recommend Courtney. He will go the extra mile to make sure your are happy with your purchase!

I purchased a 2011 Chevy Impala from Toyota of Katy on Oct 21, 2014....the buying process went great all and everything was speeded up to get me in and out since I work the night shift and was in a hurry...a few days later I noticed the brakes on the car started to squeak really loudly....took the car back twice and was told nothing was wrong with the car and was treated horribly by the finance manager Todd. He made me feel horrible as far as my car buying experience and did not want to have the brakes fixed on the car and even went as far as telling me maybe "I should pay to have the brakes upgraded on the car" even though I'd just purchased it from them. Needless to say the salesman Darius Erby a.k.a (Hilarious Darius) was great! He worked hard until he got the entire situation taken care of from speaking to the General Manager, setting me up in another car until my brakes were fixed, and also calling to confirm that the car was fixed to my liking. Its been about 2 weeks since my car was taken care of he still did a follow-up to ensure that I was still happy and satisfied with my purchase which was a big plus! Most salesman just want to sell a car and you never hear from them again. He truly made my first car buying experience a great one! Anyone looking for a hassle free buying experience whether its your first or 10th time make sure you ask for Darius Erby and finance manager Leo Rodriguez.

My wife and I purchased a vehicle and agreed to take the vehicle back in for service. It was explained to us that the work would take 3-5 days to complete. After several phone calls, face palms, and apologies, our vehicle was returned to us 3 weeks later. There was fast food wrappers and trash that was not ours in the vehicle. There was also overspray of adhesive present throughout the interior of the vehicle. As if this is not enough, the original repair caused other issues which we were told would be 'our problem'. I expected so much more from this dealership. At the end of the day, how can you not offer just to do the right thing?

I had been to this dealership before, dropping off and picking up a friend's car for service work. Therefore, when I decided to buy a new Toyota RAV4, I started here. I was met in the parking lot by Jacob V, who basically spent the next four hours or so showing me the RAV4s, finding the exact car that I wanted, and working through the sales process from start to finish. At no time was there any pressure. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction, everything was handled in a very professional manner, and I drove off the lot in my brand new 2015 RAV4. We live over 2 hours away from dealership, but the deals are worth the drive from Louisiana to Texas. I had been in contact with Buck, our salesman, for over a week and he was very helpful by responding quickly and answering questions. Upon our arrival we were greeted by several salesman, I had told them we were there to see Buck and to let him know...I don't think they ever did. It took me calling Buck from the lot to let him know that we were there. He was very patient with me and my many choices offering to show me many of the cars, that were basically the same :) After we decided on the vehicle the buying process was simple and easy. We were there about 4-5 hours, was offered drinks and snacks many times. My only disappointments was that the car was not as clean as it should have been. There were smudges on the windows and glass, and dust on the dashboard, center console and back seat. Also, knowing that we drove over 2 hours, I was completely surprised and upset that they had only put less than 1/4 of a tank of gas into the car. We were forced to fill up just a hour after leaving the dealership. OH, the vehicle is also missing all 4 tire air stem caps.

I found a Dodge Dakota online at Toyota of Katy for a great price. I talked to Tom Melanson about the vehicle. He checked it out, sent pictures and gave me a very honest report about the truck. I was comfortable enough after talking to him to make a 500 mile trip (one way) to personally check out the truck. I was not disappointed with the truck and decided to buy it. I was treated honestly and fairly. They even replaced two tires (at no charge) that they felt were not up to their standards. I was very satisfied with my experience at Don McGill Toyota of Katy.

I got my 2013 Avalon in November of 2013, the customer service that I got from Melvyn Mckiever and Amos Alvarez was better than good it was geat. The staff sold me a truck that was not as advertised. I have had numerous problems with it. The a/c quit after one month, the windshield had a crack that started at the bottom and and spidered all the way across after one week, and the truck never even came with a stereo! Did I also mention the clutch is going out also...

Darius was wonderful!! I had a price in mind when I came to the dealership. I shared that with Darius and asked him to call me when he could meet my price. He jumped through hoops to get me the car at the price I wanted to pay. The warranty salesperson was the BEST of All. He could tell that I was a bottom line person and did not spend time trying to sell me a warraty for a price I was not willing tp pay. He gave me his bottom line and let the decision be mine if I wanted to purchase it or not. (5 min, max) I loved it. The only negative experiance I had was the sales managers attitude and comments during the negotiations when he was not aware that I was to the side of him listening to his comments while at the coffee bar. He blurted out to my sales person Darius that "HE DID NOT CARE" when I asked Darius to go back with my counter offer. . That did not sit well with me.... Overall, I am VERY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE!

The Sales person was not very helpful. Had very little knowledge of the vehicle I was looking at buying and was very dismissive of my wife. My experience improved when I started to talk to the manager directly. I would not recommend this dealership. It took them an hour and a half to process my paperwork - and I wasnt financing through them on top of the 3 hours I had already spent there dealing with the inept salesman. He had to leave during negotiations because his car was getting fixed elsewhere and he needed to pick it up.

Crystal Sanders was our salesperson. We were driving through the parking lot not wanting to be bothered by a sales person but only to look at used trucks on the lot. We rolled down the window to ask where the used trucks were. Crystal invited us to park the car and she would be glad to assist us. Her personality was very inviting and sincere. I had been shopping for a used Toyota Sequoia with a specific set of criteria, and I found the vehicle at Don McGill Toyota of Katy via the internet. As I'm located in MS, I wasn't able to see the vehicle in person, relying instead on the dealership's reputation, the salesperson, pictures and description, and that it was a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle. The buying process was average at best. The first sales rep that I dealt with, Sid, couldn't negotiate with me at all, instead would have to call me back every time after talking with his manager. It would be hours later, and even the next day, before I would hear back from Sid. He told me that he would email me some documentation, and when I never received it, I starting dealing with Ricky B, the internet sales manager, saying that I didn't want to work with Sid anymore. I gathered that Ricky is a busy individual as our phone conversations were always brief, but more or less effective. Ricky did a great job of ensuring the business department processed the paperwork and had it overnighted to me, and did a great job lining up a vehicle shipping company to get the vehicle shipped to me in time to surprise my wife for Christmas. We agreed on a purchase price on Monday Dec 17th and I received the vehicle in MS that Saturday the 22nd. The business department, while difficult to contact via phone for paperwork questions, did a great job of getting the paperwork to me in a timely manner and even included a prepaid FedEx envelope for me to send the paperwork back.The issues that I have presented themselves after I took possession of the vehicle from the shipping company, and probably wouldn't have been an issue if I bought the vehicle in person. I received only 1 key and 1 remote for the vehicle and all the floor mats, to include the truck area, had been removed. While I didn't specifically ask Ricky if the vehicle came with a full set of keys and had the floor mats, I assumed the vehicle would be complete after being assured the vehicle was in great condition and that it was a TCUV. Now I am on the hook for hundreds of dollars to get replacement keys made and floor mats installed for the vehicle.Also, the vehicle was way out of alignment. #19 on the TCUV 160-point inspection check sheet lists "Vehicle tracks and drives straight on level surface," and was checked as "Meets Stds." This was clearly not the case. The vehicle pulled significantly to the right and the inside of the left front tire was worn almost bald. After paying to have it aligned and having new tired installed, my mechanic said he hadn't seen a vehicle that far out of alignment in some time. And lastly, the brakes squeak when they are pressed. All check sheet items for the brake system are marked as meeting standards. This will be more money out of my pocket. All of this is completely unsatisfactory for Don McGill Toyota of Katy. I expected a standard to be met when I purchased a TCUV from them, and it was not. I have emailed Ricky B about these issues, namely the keys and floor mats, but didn't receive a response. I guess he's made his commission already. These are all issues that I would have seen and addressed if I would have test drove and purchased the vehicle in person. So, buyer beware and be cautious of buying a used vehicle from Don McGill Toyota of Katy if considering buying sight unseen. Like I said above, some aspects of the dealings were great and I was very satisfied, but some aspects were far below what should be standard.

Crystal was very pleasant and patient. I had questions and she had answers. She made me feel welcome. I had to return to drop something off to her a few days later, and she remembered who I was. A lot of sales people that I have dealt with in the past only remember you for the moment. When someone else came in to see her, she excused herself and did not make me feel as they were more important. I am very pleased with her as my sales person and would recommend anyone to see her.

My infatuation with the Camry started when I rented the 2012 Toyota Camry LE to take on a road trip. I was amazed with the technology of the car and how fuel efficient it was. I liked the car so much I rented it for two additional days. When I brought the car back I decided that I had to buy one. Later that day, I arrived at the dealer and was immediately greeted by a salesman by the name of Jorge Hidalgo. Mr. Hidalgo was extremely helpful and catered to my needs. He explained everything to me in great detail and was able to answer all my questions. The test drive was great. I drove the SE model and immediately thought I had to have it. I was able to get the car with 0% financing for 60 months. That day, I drove off the lot in a 2012 Toyota Camry SE. Not only was Mr. Hidalgo a great help, the individual in finance, whose name I cannot recall, was very helpful in making the finalization of the sale very smooth. I also liked how he explained to me what Gap insurance coverage is. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with Don McGill Toyota of Katy and their dedication to customer service. They have gained a customer for life and I will refer all my friends and family to DMTK.

I purchased a brand new 2013 Sienna XLE from Si Nguyen and he was fantastic. Let me preclude this statement with the fact that I am a Toyota Loyalist and have purchased/owned 12 new toyotas in the last 20 years and Si Nguyen gave me the White Glove treatment from start. He worked diligently with me through the entire process. He got me the car he promised for the price he promised and provided excellent customer service. I was interested in buying a new Camry SE white and this dealership has a lot of different cars on their lot for me to pick the one I like. Especially this salesman named Si, he is so nice to help me with everything he could possibly provide such as price negotiation, choose the after market accessories, vehicle maintainence information, and show me every functions the car is capable of. I put down deposit and picked up a week after with my wife. She was so excited to pick up the new car and felt that Si was doing his best to serve his customer. I visit this dealership because its very close to my house,I wanted to see their inventory, I knew I would like a better vehicle for my family I just did not know how or if was possible. Mr Dos as he's called, talk to me he gave me the impression that he really would do just about anything to help me, and he did just that! he talked to me strait with out hidding anything and I may add just not your tipical salesman, never pressure me in any way, always concern about things you dont even think about, very clean in a sharp suit, diferent hat everyday, he's experience helps a lot for the entire process, it shows the many years of experience he has selling calls. Very happy with the guy, I was glad to meet him, he's the kind of guy you can count if you ever need a jump start. In finance Mr.Marcus Shepard was also a strait shooter, told him what I could afford and got me there as close as posible played qith the numbers to make it work, thanks guy may GOD bless you for the honest and good work you did for me, like I told you guys I will put a good word out there!

We went to Don McGill a few weeks ago to buy a new Highlander. We were greeted by Si Nguyen at the door. We told him what we were looking for, he showed us the model on the showroom floor and explained to us in detail how to operate the Bluetooth phone connections and audio equipments. We were really impressed with the look and feel of the Highlander and decided to buy the car. We told Si the color and options we were looking for, he looked up the inventory at the dealership and found the car for us. This was my second purchase at Don Mcgill the first time was back 2002, I was just there to get an oil change in my 2011 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner, I was out walking the parking lot looking around thinking about getting a new one. Si approched me out in the lot, I found him to be a very nice and sociable person we talked a bit about the trucks and the new features on them, he was very knowledgeable on the matter, there was a large selection to choice from so I gave two different trucks a spin and chose one. Si made this the best experience I have ever had purchasing a truck! and was able to help me select the perfect truck. Si is the best salesperson that I could have had. he showed concern and was very professional and made the proces much less stressful. I made an appointment to see a car with Crystal. Fifteen minutes into the appointmentshe had Lucio help me because her' other client just walked in' and as she said this her cigarette fell to the desk. I found that very unprofessional. Lucio showed us a couple of cars and then seemed very disinterested. I asked to see another car after only seeing 2 and he made an excuse and said it was 'the same' as the other.. (completely different model).

I went to Don McGill Toyota of Katy about 2 weeks ago and a one of the sales men Tim Fogarty approached me as I walked thru the doors in tears. My car I have had over 2 years had be totaled in an auto accident a few days before and I was devastated. I had never experienced this before and it was a very scary experience. When Tim approached me, he not only shook my hand he asked me if I was ok and offered me some water or coffee. His 1st concern was not to sell me a car but to make sure I was ok and that meant a lot to me. I explained to him what happened and the 1st thing he told me was that he would do everything he could to help me get into another car quick and when I told him that I didn't know what to do he said he would walk me through the whole process & never did I feel alone. He was by my side the whole way just like he promised. He was very honest, respectful and not after a quick buck. He knew what I wanted, needed and never once tried to over step my needs or push anything beyond what I could handle. He left every decision up to me and never once pressured me into anything. He gave me my options based on my needs, he found something that worked for me, not for his pocket. I am very very pleased with his service and the service of the finance manager Chris I think was his name or maybe it was Todd. Everyone collaborated as a team and got me into a car that i needed for myself and my kids and one that I could afford. The best part is all of it was done in just a few days. Had I of had all my paperwork or documents I needed it would have been done the same day. I thought it was just all too good to be true. When I needed him I didn't just get a bunch of emails or being transferred around, he would have his calls directed to his cell to make sure you were top priority as his customer. I know I keep rambling on, but I have never had such an awesome experience before when it came to dealers. He did his best and I drove away in a car that I love and had everything I asked for in a car from day one. No stress, no pressure, no hassle. It was simple, easy and very comforting. I would recommend anyone to Tim Fogarty. He is amazing and I know that I will only do business with him in the future. He has been there over 10 years and knows his job and how to make you happy. I know he helped my family and I hope that others will give him the chance to help them and their family too. Thanks again so much Tim, You gave a promise and never let me down and I can't thank you enough.

I normally wouldn't take time to do this unless service and treatment were exceptional and this was the case on Saturday nite near their closing time. The sales person Ricky Bonilla was very cordial and very patient with us and I was very impressed with his knowledge of the products he was selling and the warranties and Toyota plans being offered. He seemed very proud to be selling Toyota cars and trucks. He believed in his products and had definitely done his homework to demonstrate the various options available. It was now 9:30 pm, closing time was 9:00pm , he assured us that it was OK and we could take our time. Our minds were made up at 9:45 and an hour later we were approved and out of there and the owners of a 2010 Tundra Limited. I feel I will be doing business again at the same dealership and hopefully with the same salesman, thanks Mr Bonilla I know you have a bright future with Don Mcgill for many years to come. We arrived in Houston from overseas a week ago and needed to buy a car, along with all the other relocation related things we needed to do. Decided to visit the Toyota dealer close to our hotel and was politely and professionally assisted by Courtney Gillings. Being unfamiliar with the process and not having SSN or US Drivers Licence was really only browsing and loking for information. Courtney did an excellent job of walking us through the process, making us comfortable, ensuring all the formalities were taken care of and less than 3 housrs later we drove away with our new car. He even assisted with returning our rental car.An exceptional service, I would recommend to anyone.

I first came to Don McGill of Katy 6+ years ago. I had really bad car sales exp in past with another Houston dealer, so was skeptical of car sales in general. I walked in, met with sales guy I had contacted online for appt. Process was very quick, easy and he was very tuned in to what I wanted along with staying within my budget. It took him 3 weeks to find exactly what I wanted, but he was very helpful and never gave up to meet my specs. I have used their sales, service, collision center and rental dept along with purchasing a used vehicle from them 2 years ago. Service is ALWAYS great, the atmosphere is welcoming, friendly and inviting. They will be very helpful if you want one on one or if you are just there to walk the lot, they will approach you to see if you need help, and will allow you the freedom without being a pest if you just want to walk around and look. Everytime I've gone in there for various reasons, none negative,it is an energetic and busy atmosphere. Excellent dealer that I would and have recommended anyday. the people I have referred that went to DMTK, have purchased and been customers ever since. I have already started talking with them about purchasing a new vehicle by the end of the year and they are ready to work with me as soon as I'm ready. I won't go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle, new or used. They service every make and model so no reason to go anywhere else.

I had a fairly pleasant experience with this dealership. Initially there was some complications because I had been talking to someone in Internet Sales whom I felt gave me some false information just to "bait" me into the dealership. But once I arrived and talked to a manager they soon got their act together. my salesman was graet and pretty strait forward and I felt like he was really going to bat for me. once the manager got right and strived to fix my issues with the internet sales and financing, we were able to make a deal.
