The sales experience was good, the negotiations were short and satisfactory. The staff was very friendly. The facilities were good. Overall the sales process was good.

I had an older model Kia, carried it into service. Gene is my tech because he and I had kept my kia armanti running throughout these years because I loved it and wanted to keep it during my senior years. Gene is certified for older model of Kia's as well as the newer ones. I told him to be the one to pronounce my Kia Armanti dead when the time came. Well, the last visit with 171.000 miles was its last visit to Gene...he pronounced it on its way to the grave and could be in a hurry. I had been referenced to a guy named IKE because I want someone senior friendly and someone I could trust. He was the man. I talked to him, told him I wanted options. I wanted a middle range sedan, gray and something I could afford after all my meds and health cost. I ask for a portfolio for the next morning. I arrived and being the smart salesman he was, he had two gray models parked out front, side by side. He had the specs and info on both cars right down to the monthly payments. One was a sweet pre-owned Altima with the entire history (heard about all those flood cars hitting the markets) and it was gray and a 2015 with 36,000 miles..The other vehicle was a gray Optima, 2016 and all the data ready for me. Now, knowing that I trust Gene (I never knew his last name, I just always loved him and trusted him) IKE has Gene to check out the vehicle BEFORE I arrive, but doesn't tell me because he wants to find out what MY personal choice was after his presentation....Yip, we both agreed on the same. My Sweet ride, the Nissen Altima was the winner. It hit my style, my size and my pocketbook. I had to adjust to the security system, hopefully, and I am still reading the book of directions, but I feel good and safe in this car. My friends, family and church members are just HAPPY that I finally got a new car. I loved my Armanti and I thank Gene for helping me "rebuild" it many times. You would not believe the history report on my car, but I don't guess it would surprise you that I got next to nothing for it on trade in...My friends thought you would charge me to take it away, but she still looked good and was still going, but wouldn't be too long after I left her. I have two suggestions regarding my purchasing a car journey. #1. After being a business woman for 30 years with Sara Lee Corp in W-Salem, NC I would like to recommend that you not follow up your salesman after we have had our visit and we have requested info for a next visit. The sales manager calls after all salesmen I understand that this is his way of doing business. I had confidence in my guy IKE UNTIL the sales manager called me that afternoon to follow up. I kept wondering why is he calling? Is there something wrong with my guy that he doesn't have confidence in him? Well, if his boss doesn't have confidence in him, maybe I shouldn't...I ask IKE why his boss was micromanaging him? He said that was his style of doing business and that he followed up all his sales people...#2 . The young lady that is running finance has an attitude and a tone when we were finishing up with all the paperwork. After a few tones or snipes, I finally looked at her and ask if we had a problem? She said no and she tried to be more friendly and normal. I don't know if being new had anything to do with it and also I can scare new and insecure people without trying...but, that day I was in my "happy" mood, broke, but happy since purchasing the car. The questions I ask were answered back with: Don't know, I worked in VA....reply by me: Well, now you are working in NC. Got my answers from IKE later. The lady was professional and knowledgeable, but needs to work on her people skills and lighten up...I wasn't buying a cadillac or a BMW in New Rork City. I wish her the best, she's good. Thank you for the pleasure of giving me both Gene in Service and Ike in sales....Chuck is sure in the right job isn't he? Does he ever have a bad day? Thanks.
