I have never had an experience this good with any dealership ever. My family wanted to buy a used Ford Transit for road trips, but we had been having a really hard time finding one. We had checked in on dozens of fresh listings only to find that the vans had been sold before we even hardly had a chance to check anything out. So, even though we live in Georgia, when this Transit became available in Tennessee in our price range and with everything we needed, we thought we should jump on it as soon as possible. We talked to Vince at TriStar Motorcars, and he was willing to hold the van for us while we drove up to check it out. He even fended off a person who stopped in to try to buy it while we were on our way. And he did this without us making a deposit. He did it simply because we said we were on our way, and he had told us that he would not sell it until we showed up. We get there, and this 15 passenger van was everything we could hope for. Only problem was that the previous owner had removed the back seats. Vince said he had a friend who took trips to Georgia occasionally and that he would drive the seats down for us so we could pick them up. We thought that was really cool, but we also didn't necessarily need the seats, so it wasn't a deal breaker. So we bought it and drove it home. Then when preparing for our road trip, we noticed there wasn't a spare tire under the van. We needed a spare tire for the trip, so we ended up having to purchase one. I contacted Vince about it. At this point, he already had our money and really didn't need to do anything else, but he offered to send us a check for what we spent on the spare tire. When we got home from our road trip (which was great), we had a check from TriStar for the amount for the spare tire, and Vince sent us info on where and how to get the seats, which he had sent to Georgia with his friend just as he promised. Vince and TriStar delivered on everything promised. How many used car salesmen is that ever true of? Absolutely unheard of honesty, generosity, and integrity if you ask me. I am extremely impressed with Vince and I would absolutely recommend TriStar to anyone who likes good deals and fair dealings.
