I had to write a review even though I didn't buy from this dealership, because this salesperson was incredible. Ultimately I didn't quite find what I was looking for, but Amanda was patient with me and happy to answer any questions I had and addressed all of my concerns. The entire staff was certainly nice and cordial, but Amanda is truly one of the shining stars here.

She was very thorough with explaining the process and the parts and service for my new vechile. She even scheduled my first maintenance. Walked in the dealer just looking and found exactly what I had been looking for for over a year! They negotiated with me and I was even able to get it for a priced UNDER what I wanted to buy it for! They stayed opened after hours with me and were patient while finishing the process and everyone was super nice! They even filled my car up for me before I left with my new (to me) car! I was in no hurry to purchase my used car and Alex was persistent in checking in with me over the course of several months. No pressure, just checking to see where I was in my process. I waited until the car I wanted was on the lot, did the test drive and purchase in the same afternoon. No hassle, no fuss and no pressure or pursuit of the upsale.Extremely happy with my Rogue at this point. Who knew 4 cylinders had so much get up and go.

I drove to Winchester from Richmond -- that should tell you how serious I take customer service. The 2 hour drive was well worth being treated and handled the way all dealerships should treat its customers. I arrived at the dealership fully knowledgeable, prepared, with an agreement already in place with tags and check in hand. Everyone was professional, courteous, and very prompt. No B.S. from either party. Pictures online did an injustice -- car was immaculate, from the engine and its parts to the exterior. I arrived at 10:30 am and out by noon, with 20-25 minutes my doing inspecting the car! I will be making a trip there first of the year to grab my '17 Maxima!

Would not recommend this place. I had a bad experience 2 years ago with Tri-State and decided to give them a second chance. I was trying to trade in my truck to purchase a Titan and got Steve. Steve emailed me to get my information and requested me to call him, which I did, then stated he call me back with more information. After 5 hours had passed, still no phone call. So I called Steve and he acted like he didn't even know me or even remembered talking to me. But yet then requested more information about my trade and what I was looking for. Three days go by and still no word from Steve. So I called again, and for the second time he acted like he didn't know who I was and did not even work on my questions/information I sent to him. He said he was "busy" and hadn't got a chance to work on it but would get on it right away. He actually called me back within an hour, even knew my name for once, didn't answer any of my questions that I asked him and proceeded to try to talk me into coming into the dealership prior to getting my answers. I told him that I wanted my questions answered prior to coming on due to having to wait over an hour my last visit to get my vehicle appraised and ended up leaving due to them not appraising it yet within the hour period. His response "we have customers come in here that waste our time." Excellent customer service Steve. You've lost my business and I will make sure everyone knows about my interactions with your dealership.

As always checked for any bonus points or credits i had on my account and applied them appropriately. I have had great service at Tri-state Nissan. I bought my 2013 Rogue 2 years ago. Great experience all around. I must say the service center has been great too. Had my car in twice in 2 weeks because a noise had not gone away. Both times I was given a rental car ( on my warranty plan) however 2nd time in noise was diagnosed and fixed. The service advisor was courteous, personable and called me to let me know of the status of my Rogue.

When I applied for credit on a 2014 NV 2500 I was told my credit scores would qualify for the best interest rates. This 2014 van had over 1400 miles on it, but had never been titled. My credit union said they could only give me their best rates for a used van loan because of the mileage and the year. on a USED car still saying that the 2014 with 1400 miles is a new van. So, I was going to go with Nissan's lending. What a joke- they couldn't even beat my credit union's rates. I was told by the TriState sales rep that the van would be sold in the mid 20's. When I took time out of my schedule to come to their dealership based on conversations we had had and to have my impeccable used car evaluated for trade in, their trade in was $2000 less than Kelly Blue Book and $3000 less than Edmunds. But the real shocker was that the "sticker price" for this 2500 V6 had been jacked up to $31000. Their less than generous $1000 rebate is $500 less than the 2015 NEW car rebate, but same sticker price. I guess they thought they had a real idiot. Do not trust your business to these people. Go to Colonial Nissan in Charlottesville. They beat TriState's 2014 price by $3000 for a NEW 2015 and it is was in writing from the internet people at Colonial. I'll wait until the 2016's come in next month at Colonial.

Tri State Nissan's service center is a JOKE!! I took my truck in to have it looked at and they charged me $104 to hook it to their computer. Then they told me I needed a new $5000 transmission! I'm no idiot, so I got a second opinion at Interstate Transmission and it turns out I just needed a new valve body! The code clearly shows it was a 'clutch solenoid circuit short'! What a JOKE, Tri State! God only knows how many people you guys have cheated out of money! And when I went to pick it up thay gave me a "list of things you should have us fix for you" the total was $7500! I felt like they just wanted me to look at the list and just walk next door to the showroom and trade it in on a new one! What a JOKE, Tri State! I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND NEVER SEND ANYONE THERE AGAIN! Shame on you, Tri State...Shame on you!

knew credit was rough,applied for financing on line at dealers website...receceived 4 calls from dealership tellin me to come in and we would make a deal,went n under the impression that they had pulled my credit report,got to dealership wasted an hour and was told they couldn't help me,apparently they hadn't pulled my credit report and the sales manager was just tryin to get people in the door to meet his end of the month quota and didnt care about wasteing peoples time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a loyal Tri-State Nissan customer for over 10 years. I thought that counted for something. I called Tri-State Nissan and spoke with J.D. about getting a used car. He said that he would look at the inventory and get back to me. I never heard back. I called and left a message and that call was never returned. Tri-State Nissan used to treat their customers like family and take care of them...I'm really disappointed. Tri-State Nissan no longer has that warm feeling where you walk in and you know you'll be taken care of. If it wasn't for the AMAZING service team of Matt Keenan, Charles Marshall and Billy...I wouldn't come back!! At least I know the service team will take care of me!

I've worked in sales and I thought I knew what was going to happen when I drove onto the lot at Tri State Nissan. I was wrong. I wasn't harassed by 10 different salesmen nor was I ignored because I don't fit most peoples idea of normal (I'm tattooed and have a blue Mohawk). Frank Merritt simply greeted my wife and I and asked if we needed help, he took the time to show us multiple cars as we were undecided on what type of SUV we wanted. He gave his honest opinion of the cars and didn't sugarcoat any of them. I liked his no pressure approach and his honesty, we traded our Hummer in on a new 2014 Juke and couldn't be happier. I will not hesitate to recommend Frank and the team at Tri State Nissan to all my friends and family.

We had a wonderful experience (after a not-so-wonderful experience earlier in the day at another local dealership). We called the dealership to see availability of a pre-owned SUV we had seen on Tri-State's website and Daniel Nelson assured us it was still available. We arrived and were greeted by Daniel almost immediately. We loved the test drive, and negotiations were easy and they were very respectful and also obliging. They even dealt with us having our two toddlers with us very well! We left with a new car and a great experience! I had a very pleasant experience at Tri-State Nissan this past weekend. I went in there to discuss options of trading in my older model Ford Expedition and just looking to find something more economical on gas. Asanti Wilson is a great sales man, I had purchased a 2012 Xterra from Brian N. but found out he has moved into the finace department. I was unaware of this when I decided to go look for a new vehicle. I told Mr. Wilson what I wanted and he made it happen. Great exper. I would tell anybody looking for a great place to buy a car def. go to Tri State. They go up and beyond to make you feel at home and part of the family.On a side note there was a couple things that needed to be fixed on my Versa and they took care of it right of way.I just want to say Bruce Levy (Gen. Manager) is a standup guy that takes care of you and makes everything great with no hesitation. I have been dealing with Nissan since 1987 when I bought a new Pathfinder and have had nothing but Nissan since. I just purchased a new Rogue and I love it. Steve Palmer was wonderful and Jerry just great. I did not have to spend all day in purchasing my new vehicle as everything was taken care of quickly. Steve was not a "pushy" salesman and was very responsive to my needs. I come from a Nisan family with my daughter in a Maxima, my grandson in an Extera, my grandaughter in an Altima. I would not buy any car but a Nissan. The service department there is fabulous.

I went to this dealership because of the years of great service they've provided on two other Nissans we own. We (my Dad and I) went looking to test drive a Sentra I was interested in, not really planning to buy anything that day. We were approached by Steve Palmer, who was very helpful and made us feel very comfortable while answering many questions we had. After a test drive on a 2008, we shared the fact that I was still in the early stages of building my credit enough to the point of getting a loan. Steve and the finance team worked very hard to see what they could do for us. They made us an offer but we wanted a day to think about it and to let the rest of the family go on another test drive. When we arrived we learned that someone had made an offer on the car we were looking at. This deal didn't work out, but we were so impressed with the experience that we wanted to see what else they might have and just run some numbers on a 2012 I was interested in. Steve and the finance team went back to work again and this time because it was a certified vehicle they returned with a solid offer that we accepted. The whole experience was very positive, we appreciated Steve and the finance team for keeping us informed through the process, and for all the hard work they did to make the deal happen. We also appreciated Brain Nieves, sales/finance manager, who patiently helped us through the loan process as this was my first experience going through this. Overall very happy with the whole experience and would recommended them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from a dealer you can trust.

The thought of buying a new car has always made us nervous. You expect the sales people to be pushy, etc. However, our car buying experience with Tri State Nissan completely changed this. I had spoken to Sales Consultant Daniel Nelson on the phone before traveling to the dealership to make sure they had the Maxima we were interested still on the lot - which it was. Mr. Nelson was busy at the time we arrived, so another sales consultant pulled the car up and set us up for a test drive. We then sat down with Mr. Nelson and discussed buying the car. Our first offer was accepted without any further negotiations and we had a great time discussing everything from movies to music while we went through the car buying process. Next we spoke with a Finance Manager who worked with us to ensure we had a monthly payment that fit our budget perfectly. This was a great buying experience and were proud to add this second Nissan to our family. I would strongly recommend buying a Nissan from Tri State to anyone looking for a stress free purchase. I had a wonderful experience with Nissan. They put me in a brand new Nissan versa sedan. Steve Palmer worked literally almost the entire day with me back in February. I came in at 11am and was there until about 2 after a few issues I left and came back around 4. Steve stayed until I drove put of the Parkin lot at 11pm in my new car. Will be buying all of my future cars from here as well. All the staff are extremely friendly. A few even talked to my little girl trying to keep her entertained while I was finishing things up. Spent a long day in Maryland looking for Sentras and we should have stayed in good old Winchester all along. They had better selection and thanks to JoJo and the staff at Tri-State Nissan they also had the best deal. We wanted a Rogue, SL - Saharan Sun. It was not on the Tri-State lot. Calls had to be made to locate the car ... and the other dealer was not particularly enthusiastic about giving up this particular car. Negotiations had to be made. Bottom line ...Rusty Moorhouse had the car secured for us by the 2nd day and delivered it into our hands by the afternoon of the following day.In addition, we are very happy with what we were given as a trade-in for our 2010 Murano. We ended up with a beautiful new Rogue ... exactly the way we wanted it, with a lower monthly payment than we had been paying. WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE!!! Rusty Moorhouse is great!We have been dealing with Tri-State Nissan since November, 2009, when we purchased the Murano. Tri-State has been doing all the maintenance work on it, and, naturally, will be taking care of our new Rogue. It is always a pleasure to go there to have the regular maintenance service performed on one's car ... not the least of which are those WONDERFUL, DRIVE-IN, OUT-OF-THE-WEATHER, AUTOMATIC DOORS. I am spoiled now. I want nothing less ... plus the people working in the service department are friendly, helpful, and accommodating ... and they SOMETIMES EVEN WASH YOUR CAR before returning it to you. Unbelievable! Tri-State, like Zappo's Shoes, brings new meaning to the word "service". I've never experienced another dealer that measures up to them. Why did I give this rating? I found that Tri-State Nissan was a pleasure to deal with. My salesman Troy Jackson (customer service champ) was extremely helpful and professional. He made my family and i feel like we were the only customers in the showroom. He has skills! The price was not only competitive, it beat the big city pricing. You can travel to Hagerstown, Loudoun and Fairfax like I did shopping around OR just stay in Winchester and get a better deal. I am very satisfied with my Versa so far. So many items, so little time!!! We brought the Nissan Frontier in for the annual inspection. While there, we had the team perform the oil change, tire rotation, check the air pressure sensor, inspect rear window control and sevice the battery. Whew! The air pressure sensor and window control had to be replaced. J D kept us informed along the way, as we chose to wait for the vehicle. He recommended a new air filter, as well, to which we agreed. Matt did his part to ensure parts were on hand, since we called ahead of time. Chuck saw us waiting and made sure we had been given full attention and encouraged J D to wash the vehicle when all was finished. Before the sudoku puzzles were worked, it was time to go:)) We were out in about two hours....great teamwork!We can honestly say we "enjoy" these visits! The bottom line did not hit very hard, either. All service on this vehicle has been performed at Tri-State Nissan, winning over a Honda customer along the way.....Thanks, Matt!

When he said they transferred the tags he meant it, we don't have to do anything. Wonderful buying experience from the moment I walked in the door until I drove the care away. Jo Jo was very knowledgeable and had a can do attitude. He was a real pleasure to work with. Answered all my questions and always had a smile on his face. My frontier was not on the lot and they had to find it at a different location. Went in on a Friday and they had the truck ready on Monday. I will deal with them again for sure. Great people to work with. Though I got a fair and honest deal and did not have to drive 50 miles or more to get a better deal.

Excellent service for a very simple car buying experience. The prices were great for the new car as well as my trade-in value. Jojo also took extra time to check for all available incentive offers as well to help with the price. He also had to find a second option on the car because the original one I was buying had some mileage on it. I would recommend anyone looking for a car to at least go and check them out.

We are very disappointed because the car that we were dealing with was switched with another model at the time we were doing the paper work with the financing. When we finished with all the paper work it was time for them to close and we took off with the car. The next morning we saw that the car was dirty and we realized that they gave us the model FE+ instead of the FE+SV which we thought we purchased.

Very very slow process it took over 5 hours to finish the deal and get out. The main reason for this is only one finance person working at the time. I am so mad to have to spend this much time here! For some reason we were put last behind a couple that was behind us. I will not let this happen again!

Steve and Brian were great to work with and they made the car buying experience as enjoyable as it can be. Will definitely come back when it's time to replace our next vehicle. The only negative thing about the entire experience was the time it took to complete the process. Once we came to an agreement on price, terms, trade-in, and everything else (which was very easy with Steve and Brian), the length of time it took to see the financial person was painfully long. Not sure if they were understaffed on that day or what, but that part of the process was way too long.Otherwise the experience was terrific and we will be definitely be back.

JoJo was extremely helpful when I stopped by TriState. I told him the payment per month I wanted to stay below and he found me a car that matched my requirments. He did not pressure me at all, he just told me the facts about the vehicle, my credit rating, my payments etc. I really appreciated that. This was my first time buying a car so I had a lot to learn and he was patient with me when I asked questions and explained everything so that I understood. This was the best buying experience we have had so far for many reasons. Asanti was very knowledgeable about the Nissan Pathfinder and shared all the details about the Pathfinder without being overpowering. He worked really hard to understand what we were looking for and what we considered "must haves." He used our time wisely with gaining the information needed to trade in our past Nissan, all the while making us feel comfortable and at ease. He never at any time was pushy or didn't give us time to make the best decision for our family. We were extremely happy about the trade in value that was presented to us and the ability to get the best price. Also, we had three small children with us and we were all made to feel comfortable. In the past we have dreaded buying a new car for the overwhelming and uncomfortable feeling that we have received. 3 days later, we are still talking about what a great experience it was.

I bought my first Nissan from Brian 9 years ago at Tri-State. I have had all my service performed there and LOVE the service department. I swore I'd buy another car from them just for the service department alone. I didn't do that, I made a mistake and bought a Chrysler. After only 2200 miles I traded that car into Tri-State for a new Versa instead. To a person, every single salesperson, service person and business office person would make me come back and do business again there. Jeff took all the time in the world and worked to get the best deal. I won't make the mistake of not coming to Tri-State again. Lesson learned.

Shaun Hall was a great salesman! My husband and I dont like to be pushed or pestered and with Shaun's laid back approach we were a perfect fit. I would definately come back and buy a car again from Shaun. The dealership got good ratings because Shaun was positive and spoke highly about the dealership and the Nissan product. He was very helpful answering our questions and during the test drive went over all the options,and functions of the vehicle. we decided we still wanted to check all our options for a new vehicle so during the next few weeks Steven kept in touch with us by email. Of all the dealerships we were at he was the only salesman who made sure we knew everything about the vehicle,made sure it was going to suit our needs and who kept in touch. We love our new Murano but this is one time i can say it was the salesman who sold us the vehicle.

I spoke with Troy the day before to confirm the information he emailed to me regarding the price of a 2013 Nissan Juke, since the email he sent contained info on a 2012 NIssan Juke. He assured me that the price would be the same and included freight. When we arrived at the dealership, the price did not include freight and was about $1,500.00 more than what he quoted in the email. We continued with the sale only because the dealership was the only one in our area that had the car we wanted with the features we wanted. When we got to do the financing, we were given our credit scores and told what our payment amount would be. We questioned the interest rate and why we didn't qualify for the special financing. After Sheena reviewed our information she discovered that we did in fact qualify for the lowest interest rate and adjusted our paperwork promptly. I feeling that the dealership is deceptive and tried to cheat us. I will say that they did take about $300 off the extended warranty that we purchased to compensate for providing us the wrong price, but $300 doesn't compensate for $1500.00. The overall experience was bad, the worst I've had so far, and I would never recommend them to anyone looking for vehicle. Troy did say that he was new and used that to justify the error he made. I understand that with being new, you don't know everything, but $1,500.00 is a big mistake.

This is the 11th car I have bought from Steve Ward and Tri State over the years, both for myself and family members I enjoy dealing with them because they are honest, straight forward people who do what they say and go the "extra" mile to work with you. You feel comfortable and not pressured throughout the whole car buying process. Rusty was very good at not over selling us on a larger SUV that we came into buy, and we ended up not buying the more expensive SUV, but the smaller, less expensive Rogue. All in all, it was a great experience that only took about an 2 hours total, and we were out the door.

Participated in the tires for life program, never missed a service. When the time came to replace the tires Tri-State Nissan replaced the all four tires. However, Dropped the car off in snowy weather and the car was ready the following day. Upon picking up the car all four rims were scratched evenly around the rims in the same patter. These scratches were not there before the care was dropped off. End result, Tri-State Nissan refused to replace the rims but acknowledge they would sale a new set at their cost. If not their fault then why sale me a new set at cost.I like to clarify and give my gratitude toward several employees as they have made us feel at home. We have owned Nissan vehicles 8 years through this dealership and it was all due to key employees.The only employee, Rodney Wood, Service Manager, needs some refining. During my conversation with him he told me, and I quote "Car was so dirty when it came in I can no take responsibility". The car was dirty because it had been snowing all day when we dropped the car off.Thank you Rodney, we will no longer be purchasing a vehicle through Tri State Nissan.

As far as finding you a car at a price in your range, they are wonderful. Unfortunately that is where it stops. I bought a brand new vehicle in June of 2012, and in Feb of this year the rim bent after hitting a pothole. This is not covered under the warranty, no big deal, I can pay for the rim cause of the "tires for life guarantee". Wrong on that also. I was informed that roadside hazards are not covered. Basically the only thing that is covered is when the tread on your tires wear down to a level that will not pass a VA inspection. I also bought a used vehicle from Tri State, and used vehicles are not covered either. And don't forget all of the maintenance that they require you to have them perform that can cost upwards of $200.00, or that voids your free tires also. in my opinion this "tires for life" is crap and next time I will look elsewhere for my vehicle. Any dealer can get you a good price, and if the only extra that comes from going to Chevy, Ford, or Dodge is a couple free oil changes. I will take it, at least I will feel like I am getting something for my business, instead of some garbage promise.

From the minute I came into the dealership, Russell was there to help me. He showed me some great options, at various price levels. I found the car I wanted, but initially not in the color I wanted. No problem here as we searched the computer for just the color and options I wanted. My financing was arranged through Nissan at an amazing rate in a short amount of time and the Manager, Dave, was there to assist and answer questions. Cathy, my finance rep, spent an inordinate amount of time, helping me navigate the extended warranty and mileage options available, and she is still there to answer questions after the sale. Great experience at Tri-State Nissan and I highly recommend this dealership. And the 60-inch flatscreen they were giving away this weekend for purchasing a vehicle was icing on the cake!

My wife and I went to tristate Nissan in hopes of purchasing our first new vehicle together. We had an idea of a price and style we were looking for and explained our wants and needs for the vehicle we were looking for to the salesman rusty moorehouse, he did a outstanding job with showing us many differnent vehicles within the boundaries that we were searching. He spent a lot of time on each vehicle going over every bell and whistle that the certain vehicle had to offer. After we finally had chosen the 2013 Nissan sentra, after 3 days of nonstop car shopping at tristate with the help of rusty we purchased the sentra. We got a great deal, outstanding customer service. Above all rusty made us feel like part of the tristate family. A very cool guy with a lot of knowledge and will go above and beyond to help you find the perfect car to suit your needs. He and many other staff members stayed 2 hours after closing assisting us with our purchase how many places will do that? Not many. I would recommend this dealership and the staff to anyone. Awsome place!!

We were not expecting to purchase a new car when we arrived at Tri-State Nissan. We were simply test driving various vehicles for my wife's next car. Troy Jackson greeted us at the door and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. His knowledge of the Nissan line of vehicles was extrodinary. We eventually test drove a Nissan Altima. Troy was always pleasant and never pressured us to purchase. I purchased a Marano from TRI State two years ago and decided I needed more cargo space and a GPS. I thought the new Pathfinder could meet my needs. I contacted Mr Lilly because I had a very good experience working with him on by first Nissan purchase . When I first looked at a Nissan I had visited eight dealerships to look at their models. My first impression of the TRI State show room was positive. The space to work with the sales staff was private and comfortable. The use of Nissan web site visuals to view different automobile colors and explore the vehicle was impressive. In contrast. I had I found other dealerships loud, the information about car models/colors was not available, discussions about financing was unclear, sales staff was distracted by surrounding show room traffic and few cars were available to compare. When I first came to Nissan, DJ Lilly took me to see the vehicles he thought would me my needs. He clearly presented finance terms and quickly presented a trade in price for my car. Mr Lilly was professional and the deal we made was never altered from my initial walk-in to the dealership to the time I drove my new car off the lot. I recently purchased a Pathfinder from Tri State because i was always treated as a valued customer by My Lilly and the entire Tri State staff. My confidence in the honesty, fair dealing and and professionalism of TRI State remains high and I would be confident in recommending this business to anyone.

Mr. Ward, I want to a moment to thank you and your staff personally and not just through a survey. I am sure you are aware that you have an unparalleled staff a total package that no other company can compare with; a leader in the industry for others to emulate. I have purchased Chevrolet in Hampton & Virginia Beach VA, Chrysler in Newport News, Dodge in FL and Kia in Fredericksburg which you got me out from under, THAN YOU NAN! As you can see I have been a Dodge & Chevrolet man all my life with the exception of the one stray to KIA but without fail each and every one after the sale you are treated like a second rate low life. Admittedly I was not all that enthused with the first transaction in 2007 with the purchase of the Altima it was a little out of my reach but I was able to make it happen because it was what my baby wanted. I would have never expected the relations to follow beginning with Matt, Chuck Kevin and Tracey in service. My first encounter I went in with my guard up shield drawn expecting to do battle but that has never happened and they are actually what kept me coming back! Last year I realized having two Astros was not economical and when I decided to get rid of one with the concept of service in a more economical vehicle I did not hesitate to go back to Tri-State for a resolution. Through the purchase of the Sentra I was able go from $75.00 in gas per day to $40.00 a week which the difference covers the payments and insurance and additional. Again this year after investing several thousands of dollars including a new rear end in the 1999 Astro when I was informed the transmission needed replacing I turned to Tri-State. I was not enthusiastic going into this venture expecting to receive a negative outcome. I had long marveled the NV2500 but it was a want more than a need at the time with the Astro still running but with the anticipation of the transmission failing I went for it and Russell Moorhouse-Rusty was able to pull it together and make it happen. What a difference, I have gone from one and maybe starting a second job per week to two and sometimes three depending the size of the job. The gas mileage initially was about the same but had increased from 13 to 17 in a few short months. The ability to organize & store the parts made such an efficient difference in income that I was able to take my entire family including married and grand babies on vacation which is the first since 2007. Not elaborate but tremendous never the less. The accident of my NV2500 October 25th has been about the most stressful situation I have encountered since my days of submarine service. I have dealt with more I cant, I wont and Not willing to that should fill the quota for the rest of my life. I have operated under the principle of 3 months operating cost or have tried to and felt all would be good getting the vehicle back in a few weeks. When the delay started with parts, Super Storm Sandy onto more damage found over two months going forward to three the financial toll has been devastating. Three day jobs turned into ten, account dropping rapidly, no relief in sight and I was facing failure which I am not accustomed to, possibly bankruptcy if the events continued. Had The events been different and losses cut early I could have purchased a used vehicle and moved on but because of the events leading up to this it put me in a bad position. You and your staff stepped up in unprecedented proportions from Erin in customer support/rental, Cathy in sales and of course Rusty and whomever behind the scenes I was not in direct contact with. While I do not have the new NV2500 in my possession I was informed by Rusty yesterday that I will have it by Monday or Tuesday which means hopefully the shelves will be installed, van loaded and back in operation by weeks end. The road to recovery will be slow especially with the weather but will happen and I can give credit to no one other than you and your team. As an additional note, I was not impressed with my dealings with Nissan North America initially. I spoke with Jordan Ciaramitaro- Nissan Commercial Customer Service on a few occasions and the response was very evasive. I received statements such as we are thinking about or the possibility of or a percentage of at which point I had to say stop I cant work with and, if or maybe and give me a definitive something I can expect or deal with. I realized the accident was not their fault and they are not in the rental business that was never an issue however sending the wrong part and causing the delay in repair is the part I do fault them with and was only asking with assistance in the continued rental expense until the repair was complete and that was not going to happen. That being said and not knowing the behind the scenes events taking place, he has since informed me that they too are stepping up and giving me credit for two months of payments for November and December. An exact replacement was located after several days of searching their net work over Christmas and New Year Holiday, a drive was initially made to pick the van up however it was not known at the time that the dealership was closing early so a second trip was made each was at least 4 hours. The van arrived late on January 2, 2013 however was cleaned, fueled and paper work completed by noon on the 3rd. Arrangements made for Adrian Steel Shelving package to be installed on the 4th and the optional accessories installed on the 5th. The Tri-State team has put me back on the road and ready for business in 10 days that could not be accomplished in 3 months. This alone should prove their dedication to you and your success. This was the first time I ever "shopped" online for a vehicle. Brian was great! The only way it could have been a better would be if we have could have tela-ported instead of renting a uhual(lol). Thanks also to David for working with us. Cathy was a hoot in spite of my writer's cramp from signing all those papers. (Good luck with the pie, pecan is the best). Tri State will be where we go when my wife gets an NV passenger van. (We only live 144 miles away).

We came into Tri-State Nissan knowing what vehicle we wanted to purchase. Rusty showed us what they had and didn't push any other vehicles. After test driving, we sat around the "campfire", a family tradition with Rusty, but this was the first for my husband and I. This was the least painful experience we've had buying a new car and the "campfire" is a tradition we hope to keep and experience when we plan to buy another vehicle.

We had never purchased a Nissan before, but because we liked the body style of the 2013 Altima, we decided to try a test drive at TriState Nisson. James Watkins came out to greet us. He was very friendly and pleasant and not at all pushy or high pressure. He was very accomodating, as we wanted to test drive both the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder models. After driving the 4 we decided not to bother with the 6, as the 4 was very peppy and of course, got better gas mileage. We absolutely were not planning to buy that day, but they offered us what we had anticipated on our Mercedes, and a very good price on the Altima, so we drove away in the new car that day. David Vincnet was also very professional and did his best to get us the deal we wanted. I would highly recommend TriState Nisson and their very friendly staff. Everyone was extremely pleasant. While I have not yet had the car in for service, I expect it will be of comparable professionalism and honesty.It is so much more pleasant to drive to TriState Nisson in Winchester, than the trek I had to make to Tysons Corner Mercedes.

All 3 people reworked their figures and actually came below my number I gave them. Walked out the door with a new set of keys. We are tuff customers because we research the cost of new cars and know what we want to pay for a car. Daniel was very understanding and had the patience to deal with all the changes we made to the spec's of the new car. Once the deal was final the car was located. What arrived was the car we wanted with a few more options that we didn't ask for but was glad they were there. They sold the car to us for the price we had discussed even though there was another $ 450.00 plus option items on the car. When we are looking for a nissan we would return here and also ask for Daniel.

I explained to him my pockets were a little tight and I needed an affordable car but also reliable with low miles. He found the type of car I was looking for, a beautiful 2012 Nissan Altima. To put the icing on the cake he found me the color I was looking for and the interior color I was looking for too. D.J. "The Big Guy" was awesome. I called Tristate Nissan just to inquire about an Xterra that I saw on the Web and in their lot. He was very open, honest and caring on what my needs/wants were. I made it very clear that I was the one purchasing it, therefore there was not a need to speak to my husband regarding anything. I explained that I wanted cloth interior, not fancy as I live on a farm, however I do like vans so thats when we started the comparison. I explained to him that my current car has had anything from Lambs, goats, dogs, and farm feed in it. I chose to keep my car to haul those animals around however this Xterra will be perfect for carrying feed for the farm. I also want 4 wheel drive which this vehicle has. I was so delighted to walk into a dealership and not feel pressured or overlooked. He politely asked who is this vehicle for and when I said "Me", the focus was on what I wanted. To many other dealerships always go straight to the man of the couple which D.J. did not and I thank him for that. He made us feel very welcome and at ease purchasing a vehicle. Actually all the salesman that we observed were very friendly, energetic, and smiling... Great Customer Service!!!!We also met with Jeremy Ross for Financing and paperwork. He was very knowledgeable and could answer all my questions and when I didn't understand the differences in extra coverage then he was more than willing to explain to me making sure that understood everything. Never once did I feel that I was being hurried and even after being there for a few hours, it did not seem that way at all. We left there very happy and delighted. I have to say that if ever we buy cars for our kids or more for ourselves down the road, we will definitely be back to Tristate Nissan. The sales tactics employed by this dealership is the worst my girlfriend and I have ever seen! The staff consistently left us unattended in a sales cubical for up to 30 minutes at a time. Although our initial sales consultant, Daniel Nelson, was friendly, he knew little to nothing about the Jeep I was there inquiring about; that seemed to be the case with the majority of the employee's. The offer given to me for my trade-in was over $4,000 less than the NADA value, which I might add, the state of Virginia uses to determine the value of vehicles! The advertised price of the Jeep was about $2500 more than the NADA value. It took over four hours to complete the transaction. We got to the dealership a few minutes after two in the afternoon and we didn't drive away with the Jeep until after six-thirty in the evening. It took us to drive away from the dealership when they offered us a fourth or fifth outrageous deal before they called us back about five minutes after leaving to offer us something close to the deal we were looking for. Our overall experience was less than pleasing and we will be sure to avoid this dealership like the plague and be sure to voice our experience to any of our friends looking to buy a new or used car in that geographic area.

How am I expected to keep my new car shiny and clean without having mats to put your feet on? Now I have to put out another $120.00 to order mats and have to deal with the paper ones until mine come in. Very uncool Nissan!

Have been a customer since I purchased my 2009 Murano from Tri State Nissan. I wanted to trade again and so I knew where to go...I purchased a 2012 from Daniel Nelson. He showed everything difference that I didn't have on my 2009. I knew pretty much where and how everything worked except I didn't have the bluetooth, camera, or sunroof on my trade and he took time to go over all that. I really think the service department sold me on purchasing there. It is fantastic. There is hardly any waiting and they are so curtious and efficient.

Called Brian on the phone, told him exactly what I wanted at what price, and he called me back in about 5 minutes and said come get your vehicle. Xterra was clean, gassed and ready to go when we got there. Paperwork was a breeze and I am loving my new vehicle. Prior to this - had a dealer haggling with me even though I all I wanted was a yes or no answer. I hope my Xterra lasts a long time, but if I am in the market again, I will definitely go back to Brian.

I met Matt Keenan several months ago when the CD player in my 2003 Altima broke and I brought the car in to get a replacement CD player. It took 3 replacements before we finally got a good one installed. Throughout the process, Matt was always positive, encouraging, and despite the previous failures of the replacement CD players, maintained confidence that he could resolve the issue to MY satisfaction. After the 3rd replacement, I can stilll the huge smile on Matt's face when he walked into the customer waiting area to give me the great news that the 3rd attempt was successful and my CD player was now functional. I'm not sure who was happier: me or Matt.Then on August 21, 2012, as I was driving through CharlesTown, WV., my Altima completely shut down on me and I had to have it towed to a local transmission shop. With 110,000 K miles on the car, I suspected the transmission had died. So I immediately started doing internet searches on a new vehicle and made an inquiry to TriState Nissan. Within hours, I received a call from DJ Lilly and we talked about my situation and he invited me to visit him to consider "options". So I took him up on the invitation and, after I had obtained a rental car, drove to Winchester to talk to DJ. He was one of the friendliest, charasmatic, energetic salesman I ever met. We met for an hour or so discussing trade options and the purchase of a new Nissan. I had found a ROGUE coupon online and was interested in it. But once I drove it, I wasn't hit with the "wow" factor. My 2003 Altima was an upgrade and I had been "spoiled" by the leather heated seats, etc. So when I got back home to Inwood, I emailed DJ and asked him if I could see the ROGUE listed on the online inventory that had the upgraded packet. Naturally, DJ agreed and I drove back to Tristate Nissan with my newly repaired 2003 Altima ( it was the alternator; not the transmission) on Thursday August 23 with the intent of buying a new Nissan. I didn't know exactly which vehicle I would purchase but if DJ and the Tristate Nissan team wanted to sell a new vehicle, I was certainly a willing buyer. But it would have to be a deal I was comfortable with. So I met with Dave to ascertain my trade-in value on the 2003 Altima and test drove the upgraded ROGUE model with the leather package and all the bells and whistles. Several hours of INTENSE negotiations and counter offers resulted in me buying the upgraded Rogue. We encountered a small issue during the time I was completing the financial forms. It took several members of YOUR team to steer me through that last obstacle and finally, after the man who was completing the paperwork suggested a workable "tweek" to the negotiations, I signed all the forms to be able to drive back to Inwood in a 2012 Rogue. The next day, Cathy called me to tell me I had not signed over the title to the 2003 Altima so I returned to Winchester to comply with that. EVERYONE I worked with in the process was courteous and friendly. It took a TEAM to make this deal happen. I knew what I wanted and felt that I was an "informed and educated" consumer. The Tristate Nissan TEAM recognized that and tried, in every way, to keep me involved in the process and valued my opinions/input. I never felt intimidated or coerced by any of staff. I view them, now, as my friends who made sacrifices to get me the ROGUE I wanted. I hope they are happy as I am. I told DJ at our 1st meeting: a willing buyer and a willing seller should be able to consummate a deal. Thanks to your team, and it took teamwork, we made the deal!!!

It was a good buying experience. I shopped around and found that many dealers are still playing the old run around game when it comes to the price. The reason I bought from Tri-State is that I was provided the real price the first time. Once that was established, the sales team did not pressure me. I returned to buy about two weeks after my test drive. Other than a letter in the mail, no one bothered me. I like that.

The three individuals that I worked with were very nice and enthusiastic. None of them reminded me of car salesman (which have a very bad rep). It was my first time purchasing a vehicle from them as well as my first time purchasing a new vehicle. They made the process as pleasant as possible. It took quite a while to negotiate a price that I found reasonable, but it was eventually done. The vehicle I wanted wasn't even on the lot at the time, but they had it there within 3 business days. I love my new car and will definitely do business there again.

This is my second new car from TriState. Easy, smooth process. As in all purchases, suggest you have your research done first before going to the dealership. If you show you know what the true value of the vehicle is and are reasonable about your negotiations, your deal will just fly through the process. Made my deal over the phone since I had a week of due diligence concluded and several dealer quotes already for both the car I wanted to purchase and my trade-in. New what I felt was fair price for new vehicle and range of what dealerships were offering for my trade sight seen. Made deal on phone, went to dealership next AM to have dealer confirm value of my vehicle (15 min), firmed up numbers quoted from previous evening (5 min), test drove vehicle (15 min), concluded paper work (30 min), waited for a little for vehicle prep (20 min, super black a pain to get perfect) and out the door. No additional pressure just professional service. The finance person usually responsible to pressure you into buying all the extra services in most dealerships were refreshingly friendly. Cathy, finance manager, explained services and didn't continue high pressure sale of services when I declined.As mentioned, this is my second vehicle with TriState and if you're an informed buyer you can get a great deal from them along with top notch service throughout the purchase process. I was very pleased to purchase my first Nissan at Tri-State Nissan on Friday, August 10,2012. I received excellent customer service from Rusty Moorehouse. I had visited this location about 2 weeks earlier to look at a used SUV on the lot when Rusty approached me. He asked if I was trading up, I was driving a 2003 Jeep Liberty. I told him I was interested in the Jeep product. He asked if I had considered the Nissan SUV/Crossovers. I told him I was not familiar with the Nissan vehicles, and proceeded to take me over to the vehicles. He went over The Juke and all of the features as well as the Rogue. I had informed Rusty that I needed 4 wheel drive and the best gas mileage. I don't him I would think about the information he had provided me. I went back to the dealership on Thursday, August 9th and asked if I could test drive the Juke and the Rogue. I drove them both and feel in love with the Juke. It had all the features I needed. Rusty was very thorough in going over all the options and showing me all the features. He a long with The Manager and Finance Department were excellent and I will tell anyone that interested in buying a vehicle to check out Rusty at Tri-State Nissan.

Love my used 2011 Murano! I went to Tri-State before I purchased from another car lot just to make sure they didn't have something competitive. Wow! I found out I could almost get a new car for what I was about to pay for a used car, though missing a few "bells and whistles" for my budget! They best thing was Troy Jackson searched local inventory and was able to find me exactly what I wanted with less mileage and less cost---saved almost $4K than the same thing I almost bought elsewhere!!!! Plus I get new tires for life with mounting and balancing! Woot Woot!Flawless transaction from start to finish. Outstanding customer service by everyone we met. The facility is clean and welcoming. Looking forward to my future with Tri-state.

I have to say, this was only my second car purchase, both through Tri-State Nissan. But this was easily not just the best experience I've had at a car dealership, but with any buying experience, retail or otherwise. Troy "Heavy" Jackson recognized my family from a previous visit, and I was easily able to relay the type of vehicle I was interested in, and Troy steered me in the direction of a 2012 Sentra. As it turns out, that was exactly what I wanted. And then when it came to the final evaluation, signatures and agreements, Cathy Fritzges was a pleasure to deal with. So Tri-State truly did get a "customer for life", and I especially thank Troy again for working with me, understanding my limits and allowing me to get a vehicle I'm going to treasure for years. Because I don't use daycare, I had my two year old daughter with me. Tri-State Nissan has a play area that kept her content the whole time while I went through the car buying and financing process. Awesome!! My salesman, Daniel Charles, was very responsive and friendly. Although I purchased an inexpensive used minivan, he still treated me as if I was purchasing three new cars that day. I've purchased 6 cars in the last 3 years. Of all those times Tri-State was by far my best experience. I'll be back for sure!

Troy Jackson was our sales person and he gave us enough room to shop at our leisure and then worked hard to get us a deal we thought was fair and got excellent explanations for our challenges and questions. Jeremy Ross was our salesperson for prior sales and in his new capacity was thorough and courteous with all explanations. David filled in for Troy while he was in class, enjoyed his contact. Me and my wife have bought several cars from Tristate nissan over the years. My wife loves the service department. They call her by name and when the car is done they bring it to her , not make her wait 30 minutes longer. They understand our time is very valuble. Sometimes they even wash it for her. Rusty Moorhouse who Ive come to know from our expeience with the dealership called me and was talking to me about track leasing. I had never heard of it before. I own a pest control company. I have 4 trucks financed in my personal name and my wifes name. With the track lease I was able to remove my name and my wifes name as primary financers. The company has the trucks in its name now and this has freed up a ton of personal credit for us. I highly reccomend the track lease option for business owners that need vehicles. Also I would reccomend Rusty Moorhouse , as I could see he didnt give me the "car salemans" speal. He was generaly concerned about my business and its success. He understands relationships and what they mean to both sides.Tristate Nissan is very lucky to have such a dedicated employee. There were several times he talked to me on his days off to answer questions.I would also like to mention David Vincnet. He worked very hard to get this deal done. I have great credit, but when you own a small business and every thing is in your name it is hard to get credit because you look over extended. Thanks again Rusty, David and Tristate Nissan.

I have owned my Nissan Frontier for 12 months now. My initial contact with Brian was pleasant and pressure free. I had determined what I wanted to pay for this truck and it didn't take long to arrive at that figure with Brian. Since buying the truck, I have put 30k miles on it. I take it back to Tristate for service. They are extremely efficient, the truck is in and out quickly and the oil changes are the least expensive around. I will be a customer of Tristate when it's time to trade in my wife's Xterra, and, due to my experience with them, it may be sooner than I had anticipated. I have dealt with car sales and service personnel for 40 years. Tristate is the best, by far.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the service dept. at tri-state nissan. I had to take our new Rogue in because of a very annoying rattling noise it was making. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal, but I know how hard it can be to track these things down. And I just want to thank everyone involved in finding the source of this noise and resolving the issue. It took a couple trips in, but they found it and fixed it, and I'm grateful for thier resolve. Forgive me for not knowing all the people involved, but I do remember the service advisor Matt, and another named Kieth I believe, and the tech by the name of Seth? Matt Fanning was our Sales Consultant, we stopped by to look at Jukes, he showed us Jukes as well as Cubes. His knowledge of the product was excellent, his demeanor and sales personna not only sold us on a Cube but on Tri State Nissan as well. We honestly had no intention in purchasing a vehicle when we stopped by to 'look' but Matt's helpful salesmanship along with the top quality support staff convinced to purchase that day. After spending over four hours at the dealership I ended up with a car that sounds like it has rods knocking, the miles on the odometer were listed incorrectly (by 90+ miles), my offer on price was completely ignored and when I finally got out with the car it didn't even have a full tank of gas. You can bet that I'm going to have plenty to say to people about the car and your dealership.

In june of 2011 I made my first trip back into tri-state nissan after many years. I met my salesman DJ Lilly and purchased a beautiful new Titan truck. As stated in a previous DealerRater review I left there feeling It was the best buying experience of my life, and believe me I've purchased alot of cars over the years in lots of different makes and models. I loved my new Titan truck, but unfortunately my wife didn't share the same enthusiasm for it. I had traded a nissan rogue on the truck, (which she never forgave me for) and after much discussion it was decided that we would like to have another Rogue. I figured although being a little upside down on the truck I would give it a try. I saw that they had a pearl white Sl on the lot and contacted DJ. In short order he and Angel had a deal worked up that I couldn't pass on. When I arrived at the dealership DJ was busy with another customer, so Angel stepped in until DJ was done so I wouldn't have to wait. The financing was quick and painless with Jeremy, and he even reminded that I had purchased gap insurance on the truck and had the papers ready for the refund without even asking. Before I knew it I was driving off the lot in our new rogue. As long as I'm in the market for a Nissan, I will never step foot in another Nissan dealer. They like to use the slogan "Dealership for life", I call them friends for life.

We went into the shop for one care specifically, which we found online. Our salesman was Rusty Moorehouse and he was outstanding from the handshake. Helped us get the price we wanted and everything went smoothly from that point, up until we had to wait an excessivley long time for the finance paperwork to be put togehter. We waited the better part of 2 1/2 hours which is awful. We tried to explain to the gentleman the we had a disabled child at home waiting on his medication, but the finance man sure seemed indifferent to out plight. Eventually, someone called in one of your other financial specialists, Cathy, who was on an outing with her children came in to take care of us and she was a joy to work with and even got us a better rate on our loan. Rusty and Cathy are clearly the stars of this dealership. The excessive wait on finance is the only reason we can't rate the experience 5 stars across the board. Tri State Nissan is fabulous! Brian Nieves was our sales rep and he found exactly the vehicle we were looking for within a day. His professionalism and personality are top notch. The trade in price we were given was very fair and more than we had expected. This was the easiest vehicle purchase we have ever made with no need for price negotiation at all.The dealership was neat and clean and every employee we worked with (and even those we didn't) were friendly. I had read the reviews before going to the dealership and thought they sounded too good to be true but the dealership and staff were exactly as presented. The dealership has a friendly, relaxed, hometown atmosphere which was very refreshing compared to the original Nissan dealership we had tried to work with.Keep up the good work and you will have a customer for life in us!

I was discouraged initially seeing the price of the Altima I was interested in but Rusty assured me he could get it down lower and he did a great job working with me. This is the fifth vehicle my family and I have purchased from Tri-State Nissan. I cannot say enough about the customer service focus the staff have at this dealership. DJ was able to work with our time constraints and had paperwork ready in a timely manner. Jeremy made the financing part stress-free. We did not feel rushed during the whole car purchasing process. I worked with 5 dealerships in all to try to find the best deal on a Nissan NV. Many of the dealersips were not easy to work with and some were even kind of rude and arrogant, as if they were bothered by the fact I was trying to find there rock-bottom price. I am please to say that I found Tri-State Nissan to be just the opposite. Russell Moorhouse in particular was very friendly and honest. He knew every detail about the vehicle I was wanting to purchase and was therefore extremly helpful in every way. Really everyone we came in contact with at Tri-State was very friendy and made us feel right at home. The dealership itself is very clean and spaceous. The gourmet coffee in the waiting room was a nice touch as well. I love my new Nissan NV and will not only recommend it to my friends and others, I will also recommend they go to Tri-State to make their purchase.

This was my first new car purchase in more than 14 years. I was greeted at the door by Rusty. This was the beginning of a great car buying experience. I came in knowing exactly which car i wanted,only to find out the car was just sold....No problem, Rusty was able to find a similar one for the same price. Although I was familiar with the car,Rusty was able to inform me of some details I was unaware of. Very accomodating and helpful with finding the car I desired. A little more expensive than I had hoped for, but overall experience was good. Tires for life is a good program, the only drawback is all maintenance is required at Tri-State, and I live a good distance from the dealership.

YOU ADVERTISE THESE PACKAGES BUT YOU ALSO DO NOT EXPLAINE THAT THEY CAN GO AWAY IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW CERTAIN GROUND RULES THAT COULD END UP WITH A HIGHER INTREST RATE OR FINANCEING FIGURE. Actually, wasn't expecting to buy when I stopped on Saturday but felt comfortable doing so after talking with Russell and test driving the car. Russell didn't pressure me into buying the car at all. Overall, it was a good experience and will most likely return to the dealership for future purchases.

Daniel Charles was the best car salesman we have ever had (and that is going back 33 years and many car purchases). He was low-key, very knowledgeable and ethical. After we bought the car and some issues arose - he was genuinely concerned about the problems and worked at lightening speed to get them resolved to our advantage. Steve Palmer is an excellent salesman. He was understanding, he listened and a great person to talk to. He gave me a tour of the dealership, allowed me to drive my new truck on an excellent test drive and he didn't talk my ears off. Unlike other dealerships, he showed me what I was entitled do as a new buyer and what I will expect in the future. The manager Mike,.... well, that's Mike. LOL, Mike was great. We went in orginaly going to purchase only one vechile, and actually purchased two! We didn't feel like our salesmen, Steve, was just "trying to make a sale". He cared about our needs and wants and gave us all the information needed to make an informed decission on our vehicle purchase. The finance guys, Dave and Jeremy, pulled every string in the book to make the finances work so we could drive away in the vehicles we needed. They cared about putting us in a car that we loved, dispite of our tricky circumstances. This is the second time purchasings from Tri-State and I will never look to another dealership! I was having problems with my current car and was thinking about getting a brand new car. On my way home from work one morning I heard an ad for Tri State Nissan. When I got home I looked them up on the internet. I called the number on the site and was directed to DJ Lilly. From the first conversation we had on the phone to the moment we met in person he was very professional and also very nice. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted at the door and was taken straight to DJ's office where I was introduced to Mr. Lilly. We began to talk about what I was interested in and what price range I was thinking of. He got some of my personal info and got to work. He found the car that first came to mind and went out to the lot and brought it out for me to see. It was exactly what I had in mind, and the price could not have been beat. He showed me all the bells and whistles, and I was sold. We then went to the financial department and discussed payment options and package deals. The car I wanted was now mine! We have purchased three different cars over the years at Tri State. Every single experience has been fantastic. The sales staff offered no pressure and worked with us to find the exact car for our needs. The experience is about as pleasant as car buying can be. The staff from sales all the way through to finance is friendly and knowledgeable. On the service side, the advisors don't try to over-sell you with unnecessary work. The Express service for routine oil changes is about as efficient as I've ever seen a dealership service program and the tire replacement program for dealer-bought vehicles is great as well.We've bought a number of cars over the years and I have to say Tri State may be the best of all of them. It's rare to find a dealership that is this good. We'll keep returning as long as this continues to be the case.

No complaints. The sales representative was attentive to the things I asked about and went and got the information. The price on the vehicle I was purchasing was okay. I ahte haggling over prices so I am pretty much at the dealership's mercy, but did not feel like I was taken advantage of (not actually sure what that feels like...). All questions and concerns were anticipated or answered by the sales rep and the finance guy, Jeremy. Follow-up questions a couple of days later were also addressed in a timely manner with the sales rep returning my call and providing quick and useful answers. The only downside to the experience was that it took a while to get through the paperwork. I suppose I could have speeded that up if I had gotten pre-approval on the loan, but then I am not sure that I'd have gotten the rat you got for me. So, it worked out.Thanks,

It was different than what we thought at first, but it was the right car for us. He went out of his way to locate the car for us and get us the best car for the money. This dealership and its customer reps were the best I have ever encountered in the more than 43 years I have owned vehicles. From the Salesman to the Finance man and the Service reps all were more than helpful and knowledgeable during my visit. For the first time in dealing with dealerships I did not feel that I was given the "run around" at any phase of my visit. The Versa sold to me was exactly what I wanted and not a "second choice" which many dealerships try to pass off. I highly recommend this dealership.

The effort that was made to obtain the right color for us was impressive. He even showed how everything works after the car was delivered. In fact, he even called us the next day to see if we need any help with anything. Jeremy Ross was also very efficient and friendly. My experience with Tri State has been one of complete satisfaction with all aspects of the car buying process. Besides getting a great deal; all the people there are superbly trained in their jobs and making the customer experience a great one, best of the best. I am so glad I bought a Nissan there to be part of this; all the other dealerships in Winchester left me cold comparatively, you now like they really don't care if you are there or not there. I am 64 and I have many years of car buying experiences and this one is the best and I am looking forward my future with Tri State.

Daniel was wonderful, worked with us and explained the car and it's functions extremely well...we were in the dealership from 10:00am till 2:30pm, banks were slow it being a Friday...Daniel"Choo-Choo" Nelson and Kathy "Boo" Fritzges both knew I had to be to work by 3;00pm and did their best to get everything ready, car detailed and financials ready to sign. Daniel also kept us re-filled on coffee...it was a wonderful experience, the best I have had buying a new car. My sister has worked for Nissan for 22 years as their Quality Control Officer for parts in Michigan, a little bit of her goes into each and every car...now I understand what she means when she says they are all like a big family...that is how we were treated, like family. Tri-state Nissan is an awesome dealership they took care of all my needs and put me in the car that I wanted for the price that I wanted. Very easy to work with the salesman I worked with was DJ Lilly was one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. He went well out of his way to get me the price I wanted on my trade and the price I wanted on the car. The finance manager Cathy Fritzges also was a pleasure to deal with got me a great rate on the car and kept my payment where I wanted it. From the time we pulled on to the lot to leaving with our new car, the experience was great. Steve (Palmer) met us on the lot with a smile and hand shake and answered all our questions. After our test drive with him we sat down to do our pre-qualify with David (Vincent) quite a character I may add, great attitude :) and then our paper work where everything went like clock work. Jeremy did our financing and was great too. What I liked was when we told them we travel 203 miles a day and get up very early, they were more the willing to get us on our way, Thank-you for a great service and attitude in doing your jobs. I was very pleased with my expierence at Tri State Nissan. Brian Nieves was absolutely fantastic, we did a lot of our negotiating through email which was great for my lifestyle, he was very prompt with responces even after hours. Cathy the Finance Manager made the process very easy, quick, and comfortable and worked very hard to get a great rate. Dave the Manager was always availalbe when we needed him. We love our new car and will deffinatley be returning in the future when we are ready to buy our new Nissan Titan.

I had researched for a vehicle online. The Nissan Versa looked like a car that I might be interested in valuewise. I submitted a request, and Brian Nieves sent me an internet coupon for the 2012 Sedan and the 2011 Hatchback within a short time. I became very interested with the exceptional price he quoted, and after checking at other dealerships for new and used cars, Tri-State was the place to go. Daniel Nelson went on a test drive with us, and was very informative about the vehicle. Everyone at Tri-State was friendly and helpful,and I will enjoy dealing with them for many years. We started out with Brian, but he was sick so we then went with D.J. and found him to be extremely helpful and friendly. We didn't even mind having him along for the test drive since he was funny and upbeat. We did not feel pressured to buy and left with a car that we are very happy with. The closing for the car was the fastest and least "painfull" with have ever had. I highly recommend both Tri State and our salesman D.J. and can't wait to return for our next car purchase.

We started out looking at used vehicles and DJ said that he could put us in a new one for the same amount of money. We drove the truck and they quoted us a price. Tri State was the first stop of the day and we needed to see what else was available. So we left and went to several other dealerships but wound back up at Tri State Nissan. They were not pushy or pressure us in any way. Overall it was a good experience with the dealership because we have not bought a new vehicle in over 20 years. We will definitely recommend them to others and may go back ourselves.

I was pleased with the service and attention provided by Steve Palmer. We went to three other dealerships, including the one we had previously bought a new Nissan from in 2010, and Tristate was the only one that had the particular model we were looking for. The price was OK but when only one dealer within an hour of your home has the right car, your bargaining leverage is limited. I'd probably buy another car from them.

What a great car buying experience we had at TriState Nissan! We spent the day with DJ Lilly and he made us feel like we were his top priority. I have to admit I was probably a pain because I had lots of questions and wanted to test drive a couple different models but DJ was patient and worked with us until we were happy and comfortable and driving off the lot in a new Sentra!! I had car shopped at many, many dealerships. I had been jerked around and so many dealerships were so very hard to work with. Tri State Nissan was amazing though. Daniel Nelson was an amazing salesman. He was friendly and he worked to get me the best deal possible. The finance guy (whos name I sadly dont recall right now) was an absolute treat to work with, as generally at every other dealership the finance guys were the worst to deal with. He gave me the best deal possible and was very easy to negotiate with. Overall I am so very happy I went to this dealership and when I go to buy another car, I'm going there first. I had never even considered Nissan before, and now they may just have a customer for life.

I usually associate trading vehicles with pulling teeth. Boy, was I wrong. This was the most pleasant experience that I have ever had when it comes to buying an automobile. I had been looking for a few days. All the other dealerships(Toyota in four different cities)immediately said no but then would call or email the next day trying to negotiate a new price. At Tri-State we were able to achieve a fair deal the same day. Actually, they took my first offer. My salesperson was DJ Lilly (the big guy). He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, patient and very witty. He made me feel like he didn't have anything else to do that day but spend it with me. Jeremy Ross was very forthright when going over all the extra options that I could purchase for my Rogue. I did not feel pressured at all. I will definitely buy from this dealership again just because of these two men.

Everyone was very friendly and easy to talk to. I went in specifically to test drive a Juke, but there was not one on the lot. They took my name and number and offered to call me as soon as one arrived. A few days later I test drove one, but it wasn't the model I was looking for. There was an SL on the lot but it was already sold. However, Russell was able to let me sit in it and he went through all the features of the SL with me in detail. He spent about 2 hours of his day showing me everything even though he knew that I was not going to be able to purchase right away. I was extremely pleased that he took the time to do that for me. About a month later, I came back to the dealership to order a Juke. The process was easy and luckily one came in the next day. Russell called me to let me know, even though it wasn't the color I had wanted originally. I ended up liking this one and went on to purchase the same day. They were able to work with me on my tricky payment plan and a friendly haggle took place over my trade in. They reviewed everything in detail and the car was immaculate when all was said and done. All in all I was very pleased with how friendly the service was and the willingness of the sales mgr to work with me. It was a pleasant experience and I would do it again.

Mr. Moorhouse approached us in the lot as we were looking at new vehicles. As we looked at various vehicles he explained features of each of them. After we decidedwhich vehicle we wanted to test drive, he prepared it for test drive. As we test drove the vechile, he explained all features of the vehicle. After the test drive we went to his office and he ask us what we were looking for as far as payments. Afterexplaining what we wanted he started working with the numbers. We did not like the numbers he came up with so he ask if we wanted to pay the taxes, title, license, or a trade-in. After discussing and working with numbers he took all infomation to his finance officer again. After the second time we told him if he could reached the numbers we requested we would take the vehicle right now. He returned to his finance officer and came back afew minutes later and said, "I will have the car taken to service center for prep." Mr. Moorhouse was very professional and polite during our complete visit and worked very hard to satisfy our needs.

I was just about to buy a new Nissan in Chantilly, Va. when a friend told me I should talk to Rusty Moorehouse at the Nissan dealer in Winchester, Va. I went out to Tri State Nissan and bought a 2012 Sentra, got a better price then the 2011 I almost purchased in Chantilly, got a better interest rate, and 12 months less. I have to say I like the way they sell at Tri State, Rusty Mooorhouse was very professional and really worked hard for me to get the deal I wanted. Jeremy Ross the Business Manager was great to deal with also...no pressure, he was very thorough about my financing and what the dealership had to offer, so I could make the best decisions! I drove off feeling like I finally got a great deal from a dealership. I would buy from them again and recommend Rusty and the dealership to all my friends.

I found a 2008 Nissan Frontier through autotrader.com and contacted the dealer as soon as possible. Because I lived an hour away, I asked about a trade-in, sight unseen. They gave me a round number just to get me in the door. It was a very fair number and I don't feel like I was taken through any loops, hassled, haggled, or disrespected at all. Brian was very curteous over the phone and through email. When I finally got the chance to meet up and test drive the vehicle and get my trade inspected, everything was very smooth and comfortable. The vehicle had a few grass clippings from a recent mow and the truck bed had some cobwebs just from the previous owners use. Brian would not let me leave with a dirty truck. He sent it over to get it cleaned up and even helped me out with getting some utilitrack tie downs. The other managers that I worked with were very helpful and got me in and out quickly. I would definitely recommend going to buy a vehicle from this dealership.

Brian Nieves provided a prompt response to our request for an internet price on the Nissan Murano. We considered Honda and Mazda also. However after driving the Murano, getting a fair sales, and an good trade in price with no back and forth like some dealers, we purchased. If the dependability and service dept. meets similar expectations, we will purchase another Nissan.

Dj is a fantastic, knowledgable salesperson. He really seems to take an interest in his customer's needs. He listened patiently to what I was looking for, and allowed me to test drive literally 5 vehiclies before I committed to one. He was a pleasure to work with, and we will be seeking him out for our next vehicle purchase.Jeremy sold us the Nissan we traded in, and got to work with him for the financing. As always, he was a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgable, and what few questions he wasn't able to answer immediately, he got back to us with answers as soon as he had them. I like tristate nissan. 3 people in our family (including my husband and I) have bought 5 vehicles since June of 2008. we will continue to refer people to tristate, specifically to DJ in sales and Jeremy in finance.

Great service. Thought I was buying a SL model, if I knew it was an S I would of negotiated the price a little more. Still I feel I got a good deal. Once they've put a few new tires on then Ill know I got a great deal. can't add that into the rating yet. A good all around experience so far ! And I'm really enjoying the Murano.

This is the 6th Nissan our family has bought since 2004. Brian has always been the salesperson, and he is great to work with. He was busy this morning when I came in, and rather than keep me waiting, David stepped in and took over with the sale. This was my second Altima, and I knew exactly what I wanted. David found it on the lot, and within 2 hours I had my car. Great financing. We have never had a bad experience with Brian, and this is why we keep coming back. The new finance manger, Cathy Fritzgers was friendly and knowledgeable. Dealing with Tri-State is always a pleasant experience. This is a dealership that I know I can trust.

I brought my car in for an oil change and also to get it checked out due to a noise that it was making. Matt explained what he thought the noise was attributed to but also had me take a drive with one of the service staff to make sure that we were hearing the same noise. All staff that I dealt with were friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return here for all of my service needs.

I went to tri-state a few days ago to try to trade a nissan altima for 2 new nissans. I thought this was going to be an impossible task but somehow they always manage to do the impossible. I started buying nissans about 3 years ago & i wont buy anything else now nor will i go anywhere else to buy them. The guys there are great, they always work with you til they can get the deal done. DJ, Dave & Jeremy are awesome to work with.

I have had all of my service work done on my Nissan Frontier at Tri-State. Although my wife's vehicle is a Honda, she has been converted over to the service department at Tri-State. The staff is always very personable, friendly and professional. We deal mostly with Matt Keenan. He was very instrumental in winning my wife over to the service department. Because of the wonderful service, our next vehicle will probably be a Nissan. Keep up the great work.

My wife and I were looking for a vehicle that got better gas mileage than the Chevy Impala we owned. We received a trade offer on our Impala and were able to pick out a Nissan Altima we liked. We received a deal and I went shopping around with other Nissan dealerships. The offer Tri-State gave us was 25,666 with trading the Impala in. I went to Browns Nissan in Sterling, Va and they gave me an offer of 24,000 OTD. I didn't like how Browns Nissan was treating me. They were really pushy and tried to pressure me into buying a Altima after I explained to them I was going to shop around for the best price. I went back to Tri-State because they treated me much better. Steve Palmer was my sales person and he was great from start to finish. Dave Vincent was also involved in helping reach a reasonable price. I am however a little disappointed what happened when we were reaching a finally deal on the vehicle we wanted. I explained to Dave that I could get the same vehicle from Brown's for 24,000. After some time of trying to work a deal Dave came back and offered us a deal of 24073.83 OTD. The deal include all the rebates that were being offered and I received an okay price for my Impala. Prior to agreeing on the deal with Dave we had explained to him that we wanted to take advantage of the special financing Nissan was offering which was 1.9% for 72 months. We agreed on the deal. When he typed the paperwork up the sale price of the vehicle was 25073.83 which was 1000.00 more than we agreed on. Dave explained to me that since we wanted to finance threw Nissan we would be lossing a 1000.00 rebate. Dave knew from the start how much we wanted to pay and how we wanted to finance, so he knew we would loose the rebate which would put 1000.00 more in their pocket. At this point we had spent a good amount of time working a deal so we went ahead and accepted the deal. The only reason I accepted the deal was because this dealership was really good except for the final price. I am disappointed that Dave knew we would loose the 1000.00 rebate which put us 1000.00 more than we could have got the vehicle at another dealership. The closing process was a littled long. All in All I was pleased and would recommend this dealership but I will make sure that who ever I recommend this dealership to they are aware of there sneaky sales tactics.

We visited Tri-State Nissan at the beginning of our car search and ended up not having to go anywhere else. James and David helped us find the perfect car to match our budget and our needs. They weren't pushy or overbearing. James was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. David was funny and we enjoyed the bargaining process as it was all very above board and straightforward. We left feeling very happy and would definitely go here again for our future car purchases. Highly recommended!

We visited Tri-State to test drive the Murano after our vehicle had been totaled in an accident. We were also looking at the Toyota Venza. The staff at Tri-State was very helpful and knowledgeable about their vehicles, obviously proud of the vehicles that they sell. After our test drive we were still considering the Venza, however, the dealership in town did not have a new one that we could test drive and we didn't want to, nor did we have the time, to drive an hour to do that. If our overall experience hadn't been so positive at Tri-State, we would have taken the time to pursue the other vehicle experience. David had great follow-up with me, as did Daniel with my husband. so far our experience has been a thumbs-up. We're looking forward to experiencing the other side of the customer service as Nissan owners and dealing with the dealership's service department.

I went to six dealerships on the hunt for a work car looking for great gas milage, good safety scores but of course price price price was my biggest concern. I was hitting the end of the month which I felt would help, as well as the end of the year (Aug) so I thought perhaps a 2011 would be ready to leave the lot. I narrowed my choices down to 2 and went back to both dealerships to crunch the numbers. The lowest price with great safety record and fantastic gas milage but no bells and whistles (even had hand crank windows!) which was OK with me was my first stop, they essentially told me that sticker price was as low as they go. They said these things are flying off the lot and they didn't need to deal. This was a minicar. It is against everything in me to pay sticker price, although they were giving me a more than fair price for my trade in but used car prices are at an all time high so they weren't hurting themselves in my opinion. I told them I would go to the other dealership I had selected. They said I would be back. They were wrong. At TriState Nissan they slashed 3,000 off the sticker price and their midsize car was cheaper than the mini plus they matched the trade in from the other dealership - get that in writing! It was a 2011 but had all the bells and whistles (even stuff I am not sure what it is!) and being the last day of the month they were ready to move some inventory. I like they had A LOT of cars. The other dealership had 1-2 of each and that was it. They told me the car I saw one day would not be there the next. They were right - it was gone but I am glad it was. Very happy with my new car!

When we arrived at the dealership we were greeted by Steven Palmer right away. He was very helpful in showing us the used vehicles that were in the price range we were looking for. Throughout the process of buying the car he was always cheerful and accommodating. If I were to buy another car I would definitely ask for Steven in particular to help me find the right car.

I had spent the better part of my day attempting to secure the purchase of a 2011 Nissan Sentra from Brown's Nissan in Fairfax for a price that I believed to be a reasonable offer. After approximately 3 hours of discussion, I walked away when my final offer was turned down. For a dealer that states, We will never lose a customer because of service, price or selection, I was disappointed to say the least. It was then I contacted Tri State (after a referral from a trusted friend) and had the pleasure of speaking with Brian Nieves. I told him up front what I was looking to accomplish, explained what I had already been through earlier in the day and asked him what he could do for me in the way of pricing. All of this was important to me because I live an hour away and didn't want to make the drive up if I was going to have to walk away again. His response...Let me see what we can do for you and I'll call you back shortly. Within 15 minutes, Brian returned my call, offered me a deal that was acceptable to me and within my budget! I hadn't purchased a new car since 1989 so this was an extraordinary experience for me. From the moment I arrived at Tri State, Brian made me feel welcome and thanked me for allowing Tri State to meet my car buying needs. From beginning to end, I cannot think of anything that wasn't covered for my new car service needs. I cannot thank Brian, Jeremy and Angel enough for making this car buying experience something that I will remember for a long time to come. Brian Nieves is the sales person we usually deal with. At the time of the purchase we found out that he was on vacation. Daniel Nelson was assisting Brian with his customers. Daniel was very pleasant to work with and he answered all of our questions. This is our fourth vehicle from Tri-State Nissan. We have leased two vehicled prior to this purchase and already owned one. From the very beginning they were attentive. They appraised our vehicle fast and offered us options when we couldnt afford a more expensive model (another dealership didnt do this at all). Negotiating was a good experience, didnt offer outside of our price range. they were very busy when we went so getting the paperwork done was time consuming, but they did there best to get us out quick. overall great experience, I will be a repeat buyer

Overall good experience. I've purchased 5 new Kias because they always gave me the most for my money. Not this time, Tristate beat the Kia dealer's price and my new car is great. On my way to delivery, I called and asked if I could choose a different color car and they handled my request with more courtesy and professionalism than I ever could have expected.

I was referred to Rusty by a friend of mine and I couldn't have been happier! This is actually the 2nd car I've purchased from this dealership and it won't be the last. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, the environment is very accommodating (well air-conditioned, comfortable seats, and you are offered drinks), and no matter who you talk to you're in good hands.

Matt in the service department is wonderful! I come mostly with my mother's Nissan Murano to get service and he always remembers my name, no matter the lapse in the time that he last saw me. Ryan Clowser drove me to and from my eye doctors appointment while the car was being serviced and we engaged in great conversation and he was very professional. Ryan is definetly a huge asset to the Tri-State team!

I inquired about a vehicle online. Brian responded back to my E-mail in a timely manner and immediately came back with a counter-offer to my offer and We set up a time for me to go look at the vehicle. When I got to the dealership I was greeted with smiles. Everyone was helpful in finding Brian for me. Before I looked at the car I had inquired about online Brian offered to show me the other used cars they had on hand. There was no pressure and He didn't want to push me into a vehicle I would regret and could not afford. He even gave me some advise on what car, in his opinion, would be right for me out of the ones I did like. He set me up for a test drive while he worked with another customer. I left the lot thinking, "wow. A salesman who isn't pushy.... I like it!" I had a bad experience before looking at Tri-State where I inquired about a car with another dealership and the salesman E-mailed me 5 times a day and harassed me with phone calls daily. I couldn't, and wouldn't take it. When I returned from my test drive many of the guys were very helpful in the remaining process. David ( my new-found Aria friend) was awesome along with the other staff. I not only bought a car but made great friends. Many of the guys helped move items over from my car and my military decals. I have NEVER been more satisfied with a car buying process. Tri-State has a great atmosphere. I am a customer for life.

My wife and I were looking to replace our 2003 PT Cruiser, we had a family friend at another dealership that was keeping an eye open for a cheap, low mileage vehicle, that would seat our family of 4 comfortably. We thought we had decided on a few vehicles however, we were not able to find any after a month of exhaustive searches. Finally, we found one and drove to Safford Dodge in Warrenton, VA. The used car sales manager knew that we would be driving at least an hour and promised to save the vehicle for us to look at. When we got there we found out that he lied. On our way back, on a whim, we decided to stop at Tri-State Nissan. At first we were a little frustrated because our original salesman, Steve, had another customer and had to hand us off. Brian Nieves though, did a great job in picking up where Steve left off. By the time we left we had bought a Nissan Versa and are customers for life because of the treatment that we have received so far.

We went to Hamilton Nissan first but weren't happy with the price or the service. We arrived at Tri-State Nissan at 7:15pm the other night and the guys stayed until we were taken care of and got what we wanted even though they had been there for 12 hours working. They were pleasant and a lot of fun to work with. They worked as much as they could to get the price that we were willing to pay. When I went to pick it up, they made sure everything was spotless and exactly as we wanted it. They explained everything in detail to make sure we understood how to use certain features of the car. Great place to do business!

Our sales consultant Claire, was amazing, she knows alot about each vehicle and works hard to get the best vehicle and price that you are looking for. She also was very patient with us while we were making our decisions. The sales manager David was also very helpful, and upbet. Our financial consultant Jeremy, was also helpful and easy going, when it came time to finalize the paperwork. We would recommend Tri-State Nissan to anyone and will be purchasing again soon!

I tell everyone no matter what kind of vehicle brand you drive this is the place for service. Matt Keenen is my service contact and he is outstanding. Tri State from the top (Steve Ward) to the young man who will clean your car really understands customer service! The express-lube is fast and cost effective. Free wifi, nice waiting room, beverage center and friendly employees. If your vehicle is in for the day they will take you to work! You feel that you are the number one customer, they communicate clearly and explain what they are doing or recommending very well. I drive a Nissan Altima 2003 with over 312,000 miles and they have done my service all these miles. Not one time have I had to have work re-done. Matt understands that due to repair cost somethings have to wait and he is well versed on what should be repaired right away for safety reasons and what can wait. What more can I say give them a try and see for yourself.

Unusual situation, 3-4 gallons of water spilled into the cargo area of my Murano at 60 mph on the highway. By the time I could safely pull over and open up the hatch I noticed several warning lights on the panel, including the ABS system. After limping home and opening all the floor panels in the cargo area what water remained after draining out on the road was soaked up and a fan was set up to move air thru the vehicle overnight to facilitate drying. In the morning the warning lights still lit up when the engine was started. I called Matt and explained the situation. He offered to check the car out immediately and assured me it was safe to drive to the shop, which we did. During the drive in the warning lights went out on their own so it was not likely a reason would be found for the warnings aside from speculation that moisture had set off the associated sensors and they dropped off when drying completed. Matt had his mechanic make sure that all the water was gone and check the computers history and run diagnostics. All checked out normal and we were on our way, relieved that no damage had been done and the brakes were in normal working order. Thanks Matt for getting us into the shop quickly and ensuring complete service.

My experience in purchasing a new Nissan Sentra from Tri-State Nissan was great. The salesman, Russell Furneisen is exceptional. Russell did not hesitate in answering any question I had concerning the vehicle and the dealership. I especially liked Russell taking the time to sit and review the vehicle with me. . . where the gadets were located, and how the gadgets worked. His candor is very refreshing. Claire was great and overall it was a good experience, but I have to admit that the finance section needs a lot of work. We decided to buy the car early on and it took more than two hours to complete deal with paper signing, etc. We weren't even financing, but trading in one car and paying the rest with a check. That, coupled with the excessively long sales pitch to add on more warranty, dent protection, etc., left us a bit put out.Our last three cars have been bought from Kern Toyota in Winchester. Each trip to the "signing room" lasted about ten minutes. When I expressed amazement at the quickness of the transaction to the financial officer after the first car, he said to me, "Did you really want me to sell you the rustproofing and dent protection?" The sales end of the transaction, particularly Claire, was great. I'd recommend Tri-State to friends with the warning that they'd better make sure they have all day (we got there at 2 pm and didn't leave until a little after 7 pm...this after I spent an hour there the week before test driving and deciding to buy the car...we didn't even test drive it the day we bought it!) available to buy a car there.

Three words describe the people at Tri State...... Friendly, competent and honest. Everybody we saw, and particularly the people who worked with us were outstanding. The salesman, D.J. quickly grasped our wants, then walked us out to the lot to see the four options. He then had our trade-in appraised, and came up with a proposal. My wife and I did not buy it immediately, but had lunch over it, and went to see another dealer. We left there after only a few minutes, because (1) nobody took responsibility for us, and (2) the vehicle on display did not have the quality of the Nissan Frontier. We went back and accepted the offer.

Steven was easy to work with and took the time to point out special features and hidden gems about our new (to us) car. Was helpful that he also owned the same brand in a similar model.However, whoever details their cars doesn't know how to detail a car very well as they supposedly did that twice to this car and when we drove out the front window was very smeared inside. If you can't use a clean rag on a window, it makes you doubt anything else got very attended to either. Maybe it was the lighting in the bay though. I know I've had the same issue at home at times.Dave, who fronted the negotiations, was somewhat helpful, almost comical (almost annoying over time) with his fast in - fast out of the "negotiating cubicle".While we feel we got a good and fair price for the car and for our trade-in, it would have been much easier if they'd just said yes the first time rather than waste time over 2 days to go back and forth to arrive at the same number we started with in the first place.I didn't expect to waste their time and told them our offer up front. I would have appreciated being told an easy yes or no the 1st time.Other than that, the staff we met were generally nice and helpful and we'd consider another purchase at Tri-State Nissan in the future.

My husband and I wanted to look at three different vehicles before making a decision. We had done our homework of the vehicles, knew we probably wanted to buy from Tri-State because we've purchased previous vehicles from them, but we didn't have a salesperson in mind. James Watkins approached us shortly after we began looking at vehicles on the lot. He worked with us until we made a decision--he was patient and provided pertinent information and answers to all of our questions, but didn't try a "hard sell" which both of us dislike. When we decided on the vehicle, he got us what we believe is a great price. James has a great demeanor--he is friendly, courteous, and professional. He and all of the employees with whom we had interactions made the buying experience a painless one (except for the payments, that is). I'd highly recommend Tri-State and James when you're looking to buy a new (or previously owned) vehicle.

My experience with your dealership was almost perfect. It was completely hassle free which is the way I prefer this type of thing to be. The customer services was fantastic, the negotiations went seamlessly and the overall courteousness of your staff was exemplary. Brian Linaweaver hung out with me while I waited and even showed me how to use the fourwheel drive on my new truck since I am a first time truck owner. We called the dealer and spoke with Jeremy Ross. Arriving at the dealership we were met by Jeremy Ross who showed us the vehicle we were interested in. He was most informative about the vehicle. No question we asked was too ignorant for him. We test drove the vehicle and we decided to purchase the vehicle. He was extremely informative. There were no hidden GOTTCHA nitches with the purchase. Mr. Ross attended to our needs in a proffesional & friendly manner. We have another Nissan and that will be paid off in 2012, and we plan to return here and purchase another JUKE with Jeremy being our salesman. I met with Brian 1 week ago to test drive a Nissan Rogue & to look at the Juke. After test driving a GMC Terrain elsewhere I decided to go with the Rogue. We went the next Saturday to get it. They had 1 fully loaded one left in blue which I loved. Brian explained every feature with the car & the services they provide as well. If we had a scale from 1 to 10 TRI-STATE NISSAN would be a 10.5! As soon as I arrived TRI-STATE NISSAN of WINCHESTER, VA it was like I knew these guys for years, really friendly, real nice and clean showroom an overall great environment. They let me test drive a couple of Altima's and I wasn't under any pressure to buy, some salesman are so eager to sell, HATE THAT! Brian was great, really laid back answered all my questions, gave me space and time to make my decision. TRI-STATE was really straight forward with me all the way and gave me the best price out the door. David the manager is AWESOME, really down to earth and straight forward, no BS attitude. I can honestly say, if he can make it work for you he will go out of his way to make it happen. Brain was great throughout the entire process, we talked about family, sports, and finances, to me having common sense conversations are a plus! Nan (NAWN) was great, she was very friendly and very professional. I loved the fact how friendly all the people that work there are. I have a handicapped son who has a new Versa and he had a horrible grinding noise coming from the drive train when driving slowly across the parking lot. I took the car to the dealership and they took me in right away and handled the problem They could not have been any nicer or more co-operative.

DJ was very helpful and did all he could to work out a fair deal with us. Thanks to Dave also who did us a favor by helping us get rid of our gas guzzler! Heather was great too! We did not feel pressured into anything. Thanks guys! This was our third used car purchase from TriState and this was definitely the best experience. DJ is great!He really went the extra mile for us and we really appreciate it!

We visited the dealership on a recommendation from a friend. The sales staff was very friendly and was full of information. The dealership had a wide variety of vehicles in stock and within our price range. They worked with us to make a deal which helped out both sides. Rusty was very helpful and worked with us to make the deal happen. Nan was very helpful and worked with the financial side of the deal, explaining all of the options and vehicle paperwork. I highly recommend this dealership.

The dealership was a pleasure to work with. Sales and Finance department did a great job presenting us with our options and explaining them well. No pressure from anyone to buy! The dealership was a clean and friendly environment and is going to provide me with all the help I need in the future, whether it be service or future car purchases. I would recommend Tri State to anyone who is in the market for a new or used vehicle. I know I will be returning for my future car purchases!

Very, very good experience overall. Low pressure sale, very good vehicle knowledge, and very friendly, comfortable atmosphere. Jeremy had all the information we needed about the Nissan Murano and was more than helpful. This was our second time buying and TriState Nissan and we will definitely go back. Our experience with TriState was by far the best. D.J. made us feel right as home and very at ease. He was above and beyond the expectation that we had when we first arrived because we now how most salesman are very pushy. We feel the price we paid was very reasonable and we would absolutely recommend this dealer and especially D.J. to our friends and family.

Overall a great experience. Enjoyed the friendly professional staff and appreciate the time and courtesy that was exhibited by all staff we came in contact with!!!! From Daniel just saying Hey to James my salesman to Angel from still being at tri state from getting my last car 13 yrs ago to Nan who happily accepted all my MONEY!!!!!I will definitely recommend the dealership to everyone.Already had to visit service and they were timely and thorough. I didn't get service manager's name but i think it was Debbie and she handled my problem efficiently and with a smile and that makes all the differenc :-).............Thanx.

This was one of the best car buying experiences my husband and I have ever had. Everyone was very nice and friendly. We were very pleased with our sales associates D.J. Lilly & Russell Furneisen! They were both very helpful and easy to work with! Also we were happy there was a playroom for our child to play in it helped with the long process.

I initially came to Tri-State Nissan to inquire about the refinancing of my current vehicle. I was met by the friendly staff and waited upon within a few minutes of my arrival. I was introduced to D.J. Lilly who assisted me with the purchase of a Nissan Rogue. DJ answered the many inquiries I had regarding this vehicle in a very knowledgeable and cordial way - and I came away with an awesome package deal! He worked hard to accomodate my needs and I appreciated all his efforts. I had a wonderful experience, was quite pleased,and came away as "one happy camper." Brian was exceptional. Great to work with. Patient, informative and personable. The finance side was slow, and was a bit of a detriment to the process, but even though their job is to sell, they did not pressure into buying additonal coverage, items, insurance etc. I would visit again, and would use Brian as a sales rep any time and would recommend him to others.

We have purchased many Nissans and we love the company. When we found Tri-State Nissan, we knew we wouldn't go anywhere else. The people are friendly and personable. There is never any pressure to purchase. They have a great Tires For Life program that I will be certainly use! We currently have 4 Nissans (Armada, Altima, 370Z, and 300ZX). We have all of our service performed by the honest and knowledgeable individuals in the Service Department. We love Tri-State Nissan!

I didnt actually go there to buy a vehicle. I took my car in for an oil change & on the way out i seen this awesome lifted nissan titan. I went home & mentioned it to my husband so we decided to drive there just to look at it. We went in to find Jeremy Ross since he had sold us our Nissan Altima in 2009 & was the best salesman we had ever dealt with. Which is saying alot because i'm not very good at keeping vehicles for to long so i have dealt with alot of salesman!! He always explains everything in detail so you know what there offering you for your trade-in, if you agree with the price, what interest rate you were given & what your payments will be. If you dont like the price he will work hard to get you a better deal. He did this for us & we ended up buying the titan that we originally had no plans of purchasing. I truly believe if it had not been for Jeremy being our salesperson we probably wouldn't have bought it. He worked really hard to get us a great deal that convinced us to purchase it. DJ was wonderful in working with us over the phone for initial inquiry and then arrangements to come into the dealership. DJ also was great at assisting us in finding a salvage company for our used vehicle.Jeremy was also wonderful in meeting with us and discussing our purchase.Michael was high energy and helped out with financing detailsNaan was great in explaining the add'l products/ value of product and closed our paperwork timely, as I had another meeting to get to.I also want to mention Matt in the service department. Matt was great, and very honest and helpful in assessing our needs for our 2002 X-terra.Overall, we think the dealership is great and appreciate the Tires for Life program, we will be utilizing that product/service.

I had a wonderful experience with Brain the internet salesman. I met the owner of Tristate Nissan in Winchester, VA. He was nice and has an "Open Door" policy. Angel the dealership's manage was great. So was Dave, also a salesman at Tristate. I met the service people also. Came back the following week and Brian "sync" my phone. Only negative, I was there the evening I purchased my Nissan Altima for 4 hours. I do love my Nissan. Great job Tristate.

He was very helpful and gave me lots of information that was helpful in my decision in making this purchase. Mr Lilly as well as the rest of the staff that I interacted with were excellent. I have owned the same vehicle for several years now and figured it was about time to get a new one. My mother bought a vehicle from D.J. and sent me his way. I was quite apprehensive about the whole car-buying experience, however he made me feel at ease with the whole process and never once did I feel pressured. I believe this alone helped him make the sale with me (and the fact that it is a really nice car!). I was definitely pleased with the whole process.

Our recent purchase of our 1st Nissan was the best car buying experience we've ever had. We sincerely felt valued as a customer by all the staff associated with our purchase, especially that of our salesman, "DJ" Lilly. There was a level of trust we had with DJ which was above anything we have ever experienced from any salesman of any product, less alone a vehicle. His outgoing attitude, knowledge of the product he sells, and his desire to match us with the "right" vehicle at the best deal possible assured our return as repeat customers when the time comes again to buy another car. Overall great experience. Purchased my previous nissan from this dealer. I actually went in to have my 2008 Altima serviced for an oil change. While waiting, I decided to test drive the Murano. Daniel Nelson assited me with the test drive and throughout the purchase. I enjoyed my test drive so much, my mother also purchased a 2011 Murano the same day by the same Salesman (Daniel). Daniel was very kind and knowledgable. The Sales Manager was also very kind and knowledgable. They made me feel comfortable while waiting for approval from finance, while throwing in some jokes here and there to take the edge off waiting for approval!Overall great experience!

This is the 5th car I have purchased from Tri-State I also have had them service my vehicles for the lat 5 years - obviously I'm very pleased with both Sales and Service. I have one recommendation - the Juke needs to have power seats with memory and the seats need to have better padding (the Infiniti seats are perfect for long trips).

Yes, I would recommend Tri-State Nissan dealership to others because I never have a problem buying a car here. When I go visit other dealerships there are a hundred reasons why I can't purchase a vechile. The people at Nissan go above and beyond to make sure the customer gets what they what as far as the type of car you want and the price you can afford.

This is the second used car I have purchased from Tri-State Nissan. Rusty is easy to work with, and we ended up with another great Nissan. They have a super selection of nice, clean vehicles. I was contacted immediately by D.J. Lilly on an internet response I sent to another 5 Nissan dealerships about a 2011 Rouge SV with SL package. My wife and I went to the dealership and met with our salesperson D. J. (The Big Guy) Lilly (Wow what an experience). We ask for a test drive (got it). We ask if they had the color and options we were looking for (they had it). And most importantly we ask for the best pricing possible without negotiating and again (they gave it to us). We have own Nissan's and other new vehicles in the past years and I have a need to say this was the best and most enjoyable purchasing experience we have ever encountered thus far.We came in for a test drive and left with A Great New Nissan. DJ Lilly was extremely professional and helpful. I walked in the dealership with the vehicle I wanted in mind as well as a price I was willing to pay. There was no pressure from the staff and was a very relaxed environment compared to the other dealerships I have dealt with in the past. DJ worked with me on the price and I ended up purchasing the vehicle the following day. I am extremely happy with Tri-State and will deal with them again in the near future I am sure!

The salesperson that I worked with was very friendly and helpful. Both he and the sales manager worked with me to meet the price point that I walked in the door with and did not pressure me at all. I walked onto the lot just to look and see what was out there. DJ greeted us and wore a smile the whole time. He never pressured but listened to exactly what we wanted and worked hard to find that in a car while asking about our life and getting to know us personally. We ended up deciding on a used Sentra SER and LOVE THIS CAR! I was so impressed that I was able to take it home for the night and come back the next day to sign the paperwork...he worked with us on price and I know he got us the best deal that he could. We would not hesitate to recommend DJ and Tri State Nissan to everyone and in fact, we have already told everyone about it!

Made my wife and I very comfortable with the whole car buying situation. Like the Gold plan with replacement tires for the life of the vehicle. Our Salesman met us out in the parking lot of the dealership and was very courteous and friendly from the very beginning. Throughout the interview we had with him, about the truck we were to eventually buy, he was very knowledgeable. The rest of the staff treated us with respect and consideration throughout the transaction. I would recommend Tri-State Nissan to anyone.

The salesman that i worked with Brian Nieves was a great non-pressure salesman which is refreshing. I would recommend that anyone going to TriState ask for his assistance.The finance staff was on top of getting all the paperwork completed in a timely manner and I was out and in my new car under 40 minutes and that is record time as I have spent hours with finance departments before when purchasing a car new or used.

I purchased a used Nissan Murano from Tri-State in April of 2007. Even though it's been almost 4 years, I remember feeling very comfortable and not pushed at all when I was in the process of purchasing. Rusty was helpful and really made the deal so easy. But the reason I am writing is because their service department ROCKS! I always feel like I'm a customer they know and are eager to help. I've never had a car that I've kept returning to the dealership for service - it's always been just too expensive and unpleasant to keep taking your business there. Not at Tri-State! Their service is top-notch and the cost is comparable to other local automobile shops. I can honestly say that it is a pleasure to do business with them!

I was extremely pleased with the professionalism as well as the personability of all the employees. I've bought multiple vehicles from this dealership and have had similar experiences. They were not completely all business which makes it easier to be comfortable when making a big decision like buying a car. DJ Lilly was great to work with.

We have owned several types of Nissan's for over 20 years. Over the last 5 we have driven the Armada and LOVE IT!!! Every time we have to take it to be serviced we are always greeted with friendly hello's and smiles. The service department is a team and they take great care of their customers. We are on a first name basis and its so nice to be treated with care and respect.Over the last few weeks we have had a nail in our tire and the batteries went out on our key. When we were waiting we were telling the service dept. how happy we are with Tri-State Nissan and they always exceed our expectations. They were very appreciative of our compliments and we asked if there was a customer review we could fill out on their behalf and we were given this.Tri-State Nissan will have the business of the West family for many years to come and want to thank the entire staff for all they do for us. From Jeremy in sales to The service dept. to Rodney in parts and to whomever takes our payments, the entire team is fantastic! To me, buying a used car is even scarier than buying a new car and James Watkins made me feel very comfortable during the entire selection process. I had done a great deal of on-line research to narrow my choices to a few makes and models and was prepared to focus on only those. Unfortunately the specific model that interested me was not available or was out of my price range or I discovered it had features I couldn't live with. Once Mr. Watkins understood the features that were most important to me, he suggested a model that I hadn't even considered. Much to my surprise, his suggestion met all of my requirements, including my price range. The financial manager, Heather Allen, was also excellent to work with. Each step of the financial process and offered options were simply yet thoroughly explained and Ms. Allen even foound me a better rate than I could get at my credit union. This is by no means a high-pressure sales organization--they treat you better than family. I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of buying a new or used car. Their motto--customer for life--is much more than words.

From beginning to end I've never had such a pleasant experience buying a vehicle. I am a single but older woman and didn't have anyone giving me advice. Mr. DJ Lilly determined what I wanted in a vehicle (4 wheel or all wheel so I can get to work in winter, plus nice size and heated seats). I really trusted this young man, I could tell he wasn't just "trying to make a sale", he seemed to genuinely care that I got the right vehicle for my budget. If you are looking for someone that you can trust not to take advantage of you, I highly suggest Mr. DJ Lilly.The entire staff seemed friendly and happy. The process did NOT take hours like other places I had been. It was quick and easy. I am the proud happy owner of a brand new Rogue!! Heather in Finace (didn't catch her last name) was so nice and made sure I understood everything. I decided to purchase their "tires for life" and I'm so happy I don't have to worry about buying and getting tires anymore (I hated trying to figure out how big and what number I needed). I now take my Rogue to Tristate Nissan for all my routine service. They will even replace my windshield wipers when I need them! The folks in their service department know me by name and it feels great to walk in and have them greet me and know I can trust them not to overcharge or take advantage of me.If you are looking for a new vehicle, especially if you are a woman on your own, go see Mr. DJ Lilly and let him help you find something that is in your budget. Jeremy kept me appraised of any trade-in vehicles that arrived, and instilled great confidence in my decision to stick with Tri State Nissan. Jeremy ended up up-selling me into a new car. This was no easy task for him to accomplish, as I've never purchased a new car and never wanted to. Even when I had time constraints for the purchase, he made everything happen in short order. I greatly appreciate everything Jeremy did for me. As a side note, everyone treated me well at Tri State. I had worked at a dealership, and Jeremy is probably the most patient and honest salesman I've run across. Thank you for your time, and thank Jeremy for being such a great person/salesman.

Had an awesome experience buying a new car. Everyone is incredibly friendly and customer oriented. We had a fussy toddler with us all day and all of the employees were incredibly understanding and helped to make he situation a less stressful for us. We will recommend DJ to everyone we know who is looking to purchase a vehicle.

Great experience except for the wait to close the transaction. It would have been helpful if during the wait customers were given information to review that would be offered during the signing process. There was alot of information and decisions to make without the opportunity to really evaluate options. Jeremy Ross was very responsive and helpful offering a rather overall positive experience for someone who does not enjoy the car buying experience. Thank you!

We had a pleasant experience dealing with Nissan (Tri-State) and had an enjoyable experience overall. Tom Reber was excellent to deal with. Giving us all information needed on the vehicles and not feeling pressured or lied to in any way. We had planned on going to various dealerships to look at vehicles but we never left Nissan and bought a new truck. We would definately recommend this dealership and sales person to others.

I bought a certified used 2010 Maxima. I love the car and am happy with the deal overall. Tom Reber was very helpful and made the overall experience pleasant. D.J.Lilly was the main reason we considered the dealership, and are glad we did. Everyone we spoke with and dealt with were very accommodating, and D.J. went beyond what is expected of a salesman to make sure we were comfortable with the deal, and happy with our choice. Funny little story...in 05 I purchased my first Altima, and first brand new car, the car was amazing, when I purchased that car D.J. & his father took me to just look..by the way at the time DJ was not an employee of TriState!!! This weekend I went to him see him up on the hill, as now he is an Employee!! He got me out of a car that I really didnt "love" and I am now in a 2010 Altima that is awesome! Brian was very helpful in this process. We purchased a 2011 Nissan Rogue AWD SL. This was our first big purchase and he made it go very smoothly. I received a price that was very good from a dealer in Rockville and Brian was able to come very close to that. I would definitely recommend this dealer and salesman to my friends/family. They do try to push a lot of add ons in the finance department which was the only time we felt pressured, but I guess that is their job( we declined all options). Thank you to everyone at Tri-State for making our decision easy!

D.J. Lilly was my car salesman and I must say he was very professional but also very friendly. He took the time to ask about everything I wanted in a car and found the perfect one for me down to the heated seats and tinted windows. I wasn't able to stay for the entire process of getting approved for the car so while I was gone he got all of the paperwork in order and had it almost ready for me when I returned. All the employees at Tri-State were wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a good high quality car with a great staff to go along with it.

Everyone was great, friendly, down to Earth, seemed as if they enjoyed their jobs. My previous experience with Sheehy Nissan in Manassas was terrible, so I was not looking forward to going to another Nissan dealership but DJ and the people at Tri-State are pretty awesome and I WILL be going back just hopefully not too soon. :)

Was a very good experience dealing with DJ Lilly he was the only salesman who called me back from the other Nissan dealerships I called. One of the things that I did not care for was that when it was time to complete the finance paperwork, the presentation with respect to the extended warranty was very misleading as far as giving you choices in payments and causing you to believe that if you chose the lowest price that you were not electing to take the extended warranty which was not the case.

Came into the dealership not expecting the friendliness and price and helpfulness that i received here at tristate. They weree able to beat the other dealership price i almost purchased earlier in the day. I was very very shocked to be able to come out with a new vehicle so easily. Excellent service.

What a great experience! The saleperson (Aaron Moler) and sales manager (Dave) were actually fun to work with. When the sale was over, I really felt confident about the price and the product (2010 Nissan Altima). No buyers remorse here; I'm completely satisfied with every aspect of the buying process. This dealership has come along way and I won't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. After 6 months of shopping around within a 75 miles radius, it was nice to be able to make a purchase in my hometown with a dealership I can trust.

I just wish the price that we were told on the first night we were there was correct. That was the car we really wanted. We understand it was a mistake it was just really disappointing.On another hand Dj is nice, helpful and just over all made the experience a good one. We will send more people his way. I have to say that Brian Nieves went out of his way to help me get a car from Tri-State Nissan. I had been shopping on the internet and emailed him and within less then 24 hours, he contacted me by phone and we set up an appointment time to meet in person. By him doing the leg work ahead of time, we knew what cars (price range) we could look at and test drive when got there. He was very busy when we got there making another sale but never once made us feel like we were not important. By him knowing his stuff, I actually got a Maxima which I am very happy with. Heather made the ease of signing all of the paperwork a smooth process and was very friendly. I will definitely recommend Tri-State to all my friends and family looking to buy a vehicle. Very good experince and lots of incentives. I hope the service department is as friendly and easy to deal with as Brian and Heather. It was also nice to see so many other friendly faces there when we went, several faces that were familiar because they live in my hometown. My experience with Tri-State Nissan was an enjoyable one for many reasons. Number 1, I was able to purchase a new vehicle, something that I have been wanting for a long time, and number 2, I was able to trade in two very nice motorcycles, and one not so nice truck. DJ Lilly was and is a great assest to your dealership, as he appears to be very knowledgable about your vehicles on hand, and about the job in general. After several attempts to get my payment right were I needed it to be, I was able to leave with an awesome 2010 Titan. The only thing that I can complain about is the price that I received on trade in for the 2009 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. I fell that I was undercut on the price by at least two thousand dollars, as a new bike same model, same year sells for $9,799.00 at Ridersville cycle. I know that the price was given to Valley Cycle and out of your control but that is my only complaint. Both my wife and I have purchased new vehicles at your dealership over the past month, and the tires for life is a great perk to want to come back. the friendly staff at your dealership was a plus as well as I have never had so many people offer me something while I was waiting or open a door for me. All and All, I will come back in a few years to purchase another Titan as this is an awesome truck. I got a fair price on a car I'm very pleased with. I found the entire experience to be very low pressure, which was appealing to a first-timer like myself.
